Tuesday March 21.
World Poetry Day.
Today is a celebration—but perhaps, like all celebrations, just what we are commemorating is something that we must treasure each and every day. Poetry, some might say, is just that: the treasure that artists mine from the sham and drudgery of day-to-day life. For the poet, their art is found not by searching for the exotic, mysterious, glamourous, or seductive, but by what they find before them. What is mundane and routine is as much material to be mined as life's intensities or spectacles. For the poet, the world really is their oyster. And for the rest of us, the work they produce is that very pearl. And every shade of experience, whether joy, grief, banality, intrigue, and beauty, are encapsulated in words, spaces, silence, images, and form. Whether by skill, or by chance, no one really knows, but perhaps the mess and the mystery are one and the same as its profundity. With that in mind, let's celebrate a good thing. And a good thing that is ours each and every day. It's #world poetry day.
With that in mind, we invite you to mark the day here on Tumblr. After all, there is simply no better community of poets and artists who make up this creative sphere, and the evergreen world of all things poetry is, well, your world.
And when all is said and done, you better get writing x

✨ .. 🪔 .. March 21 .. as the World celebrates the welcoming of Spring .. we here in our little World of the Ef celebrate the birthday of .. the Boss from USA 🇺🇸 , Ef Meenu Gupta , the lovely mad Punjaban .. Ef Sikandar Khan 🇮🇳 .. Ef Ipshita Kajuri from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 .. and Ef Rehaab Abd El Hamed aka Ropaa , the lovely flower girl from Egypt 🌺🇪🇬  ✨ ..may this auspicious day be ever in continuity and love .. from the family Ef
... and the unseasonal rain, raineth every day almost in Mumbai  .. the early morning vision through the doors and windows be of surprise, at the most and then the worry of the water proofing and the fear of unprotected leakages as construct work is initiated over the residences  ..
unseasonal doth create several issues with the crops and the farmers over the State .. the rains come by June and July at the advent of the Monsoon .. but for the past few days it has beaten all regular arrivals and presented itself here and now .. it cooleth .. it bring succour to some and misery to the other .. the unpreparedness is the value that it brings .. and that be the mission of life and its challenge .. to be not unprepared ..
Nature though runs its own system .. social , moral, political, scientific .. ALL .. and none be the warriors that dare to battle it  .. victory be theirs always .. the supreme , the unknown , the divine is the victor ever ..
So ..  stepping up the desire to be back to work it was presentable to be able to move about to the work place , to judge assess the condition .. both of the rib and the toe .. and the faith that guides us to proclaim that ‘so long as there is life there is struggle’ .. keeps upon us like the work bag slung over shoulders on most of the gentry these days .. travel , work place , office , all .. just about everyone everywhere is shouldered with the essential .. a convenient tool for all the accessories .. and they be many in the days of today ..
More of this later ..
But now immediately a request ..
There is a poll being conducted for the Sports Honours in our region and our dear Abhishek’s Kabaddi Team , the Jaipur Pink Panthers, which won the Championship , is in the three top nominations .. and the polling STOPS today .. so lets show our support via Family Ef .. and put in our numbers too ..
QUICK ..  polling stops TODAY .. today is the last DAY .. !!!
its on the net and social media and this be the link :
https://bit.ly/VoteforPanthers
so get going gang and lets WIN ..
or if there is a need for the other link here it be  :
https://twitter.com/sportshonours/status/1635952022309486594?s=48&t=g42Fn4NtdYhPIymlkFOd2A
As I welcome in many the comments of the Ef in their effort of togetherness and family I also commend all that helped in tracing the video and pictures that I desired .. it was for a cause that needed attention and I am so happy that the cause appreciated it limitlessly .. soon there shall be the reason for this cause and I am certain that many in the Ef family would clamour to be the recipients of the reason and cause .. soon to be executed ..
And the wonder Ef who subjects me to ease and comfort in my work informs that it is World Poetry DAY .. and quotes Babuji’s translated Autobiography for the benefit of us all  ..
Tumblr media
“Even today it is only while composing poetry that I know a state of mind in which all mental powers are centred: an absorption, an engrossed concentration and complete forgetfulness of self, which I have begun to think of as Samadhi, meditative abstraction.”
“When I live in my feelings - living feelings through art with greater intensity and depth than is possible otherwise - then I am dead to the world.”
“My poetry is something that rises directly from my feelings, and I had not thought that others would also find their own feelings reflected there. It was not my intention to introduce some school based on a specific principle, to enunciate some philosophical idea, to initiate some revolution, or to throw down a challenge to Chhayavad, the established poetic school of the time; but such things have increasingly been identified in my poetry. The label 'Halavad', 'the Poetry of the Vine' that was applied to my poetry from the very beginning, simply differentiated it from Chhayavad; but if Chhayavad was a literary genre, then my poetry should be dubbed 'Jivanvad', 'the Poetry of Life', a direct expression of life lived, enjoyed and endured.”
There is an entire universe that has been explored thought about and expressed in all the works of my father Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan and there is very little attention appreciation or effort been made to present it for research and analysis ever .. this is a need and a priority for not just me and my family, but for the World of Literature and life ..
And every effort that can be made in my humble capacity shall be done , I do hope and pray .. for its completion and fructification ..
He deserved more .. much more ..
But as is wont , genius is ever recognised only after they have left .. that is the most painful reality ..
May there be peace and love all about ..

genesis for the ask meme :3
Sexuality Headcanon:
gay queer generally unlabelled, to the shock of no one who actually knows him personally but more shocking to people who only hear him out of context speaking in what's essentially gayer riddles than the riddler himself has put out
Gender Headcanon:
honestly, i like him being either ftm or just generally male adjacent with more masculine inclinations, he finds power in the manipulation of the imagery of what a 'man' is and so he runs with it. im personally flexible with this so im applying that back onto genesis as someone flexible with something like gender. this dude spends his time dissecting a centuries old unfinished text writing dissertations on it, he could without a doubt dissect the notions of gender along the way because of how gender is something potent in literature and poetry--linking it back to what it means to be a hero in a story about a female goddess where the modern depiction of heros is abundantly male
A ship I have with said character:
sephesis, strifesodos, valenstrifesodos, gentseng, genvin, GSC + Vincent too, if I feel like he's too lonely and start MISSING MY BOY!
I think he's almost versatile in how he could theorhetically romance anyone, but it's himself who stands in the way of that. If anyone could actually make him get out his own way, even if just a slight moment, I think these are the people who could.
A BROTP I have with said character:
gengeal, angenesis -- They're literally like. they fufill a brother dynamic to me. That's what I mean by broship. Of course people have made the (increasingly likely) argument that they actually are brothers on a semi-real-world-impossible scale, but I don't even care about the biology. Truly and fully they have such a strange dysfunctional relationship that is founded on both love and a resentment on some level. It's really strange and provoking. I think their bond is something like siblings raised to go against each other but despite everything still try to love one another. Of course an added romantic element would further complicate this and I fucking love interpersonal strife and drama so I'm not completely turning away from the idea of it, but it isn't my favourite ship inclination. I also love the idea of them horrifyingly finding out they're somewhere like 0.7% related to each other in some way but that's just my personal LOL session fuel (holdover from being in the dc fandom half my life and adoring all the batships HAHAHA)
A NOTP I have with said character:
eeh sometimes gengeal? Otherwise, mostly cis women characters because I just. I can't see him going for a non gender queer or GNC person, he is baked in queerness and so are his tastes! cant take the gay out of the gaylord LOL
A random headcanon:
His birthday has to be on a new years celebration day or start of a season change for me! For example, he could be born January 1st, literally a genesis i.e. start of the new year! That or he's born March 21 as the start of spring and the start of a new season.
I also like to use Tibetan influences in his crafting, reasoning being Banora is partially inspired by Tibet with the fruit and all, alongside Ryukyuan (Gackt W for once) + Minnan :D
Also, as for the aforementioned ships, he's very inclined towards neurodivergent people as well clearly LOL all his love interests are so off the walls non-neurotypicals it makes my heart sing and swell with pride
General Opinion over said character:
This guy are sick!!!!!! His designs gorgeous and I love his motifs, I don't get why people don't like him other than just not liking such obviously autistic people in media LOL like he's always been so endearing to me! I won't ever stop defending this dude

World Poetry Day 2024 in English | Essay on World Poetry Day in English | World Poetry Day 2024 Theme | World Poetry Day, Its History, Significance, and All Details
World Poetry Day 2024, celebrated annually on March 21, is a celebration of poetry's unique ability to capture the essence of human experience and emotion. Poetry transcends the boundaries of language, culture, and time, serving as a universal language that connects people around the world. Poetry is a beautiful language of feelings and thoughts. Just as Elizabeth Barrett Browning expressed her love for her husband in a famous poem, we celebrate the love of poetry every March 21 on World Poetry Day. This special day was created by UNESCO in 1999.

World Poetry Day
Another day, another thing to celebrate. March 21 is World Poetry Day, and with that in mind, I’d like to take a look at poets and poetry. While I could talk at length about William Shakespeare or William Butler Yates, I’d rather search through other voices. Voices like Matsuo Bashō, Edwin Arlington Robinson, Elizabeth Bishop, Sara Teasdale, and Gabriela Mistral. Matuso Bashō was one of the…

World Poetry Day is celebrated on 21 March, and was declared by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1999, "with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard". Its purpose is to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry throughout the world and, as the original UNESCO declaration says, to "give fresh recognition and impetus to national, regional and international poetry movements".

Dis-moi dix mots sur le podium
Tumblr media
The Semaine de la langue française et de la Francophonie (Francophonie Week) is an annual event launched in 1995 by the French Ministry of Culture.
It takes place every year around 20 March, International Francophonie Day.
“On the podium”: a new theme for 2024
Francophonie Week 2024 runs from 16 to 24 March. This week is an opportunity to celebrate the French language through a wide range of events organised throughout France and abroad.
Since 1896, French has been the official language of the Olympic Games, along with English. This is enshrined in Article 23 of the Olympic Charter thanks to Pierre de Coubertin, the founding father of the modern Olympic Games and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Paris 2024 Games, taking place from 26 July to 8 September, are an opportunity to celebrate the French language around the world.
The Francophonie Week 2024 is an opportunity to discover and appropriate the words of sport and the vocabulary of Olympism through the theme “On the podium”.
Indeed, words have always accompanied sport. For example, every sport has written rules. Expressions from the world of sport are also common in the French language: “larguer les amarres”, “le nez dans le guidon”, “passer le relais”, etc.

Alliance Française de Bordeaux, actor of the Francophonie Week 2024 with the “Dis-moi dix mots” writing competition
To celebrate the French language, the Alliance Française Bordeaux Nouvelle-Aquitaine has been organising a poetry-writing competition called “Dis-moi dix mots” for over 10 years, in collaboration with the Gironde Departmental Education Services.
Run by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education, “Dis-moi dix mots” is a nationwide campaign that invites everyone to play with and express themselves artistically using 10 words from the language of Molière, on a different theme each year. (http://www.dismoidixmots.culture.fr/). In partnership with the DSDEN de la Gironde, the Alliance Française de Bordeaux quickly seized on this project to organise a poetry-writing competition for its international students and pupils from local primary schools.
Entitled “Dis-moi dix mots sur le podium”, this year’s edition invited participants to make the vocabulary of sport and Olympism their own, with reference to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The expected words were “adrénaline”, “champion”, “collectif”, “échappée”, “faux départ”, “hors-jeu”, “prouesse”, “mental”, “s’encorder” and “aller aux oranges”.
This 14th edition of the competition was a great success, with almost 400 texts received. They come from 35 classes in 19 primary schools in the Bordeaux area, as well as students from the Alliance Française and language assistants from the department.
On Tuesday 19 March, the Alliance Française will reveal all the winning texts. These will be put to voice and performed on stage by two actors from the Theater company l’Œil, Jean-Pierre Terracol and Nicole Cazaux.
Francophonie in everyday life at AF Bordeaux
Tumblr media
More than 2,000 students of over 127 nationalities come to the Alliance Française de Bordeaux every year to study French. The school is a benchmark for the teaching of the French language, the dissemination of French-speaking cultures and dialogue between the world’s cultures.
In addition to its wide range of French courses (intensive, one-to-one, online, themed workshops, etc.), the school offers cultural activities to promote French culture to all its students and more! The AFBNA belongs to the international network of Alliances Françaises, which comprises over 800 associations in more than 135 countries. Exchanges often take place between the Alliances Françaises.
Such is the case with our exchange with the AF of Málaga in Spain, scheduled for Thursday 21 March during the Semaine de la Francophonie 2024. The idea is for students to be able to talk to each other in French. But also share their experiences language learning within their respective AF. This type of activity is an opportunity to continue to grow and consolidate the Francophone community.
Francophonie Week 2024 runs from 16 to 24 March. This week is an opportunity to celebrate the French language through a wide range of events .
