“I let you live here for free, and I don’t even charge you rent” might be the funniest verse in a Disney song since that time when Stephen Schwartz rhymed “Adonis” with “croissant is”.

The thing I love about the hunchback of Notre dame musical is they made the gargoyles as figments of Quasimodo’s mind and they cut all the wisecracking humor and eliminate a guy like you. This is why it’s my favorite musical.
OMG YES!! removing A Guy Like You from the musical is the best thing to happen in Disney history 100% for me one of the reason why i love the Huchback of Notre Dame Musical so much is how they rewrote the movie and actually made it 10x better! Instead of making it exactly like the movie but adding more songs and filler like most Disney musicals

Dark Heaven: Amazing art, wonderful romance, the ending got a bit soap opera-y for me and I hate the “psychotic woman getting in the way of the gay” trope in BL... so that’s unfortunate. It’s not perfect but one of the best webcomics I have read in a while. Helps that it’s completed.
All About Lust: Great art, cute healthy relationships that practice communication and healthy sex. Like the 2nd couple more than the first. Has a pretty cool female character too which is a great bonus
Moritat: Ummm I honestly don’t know. Definitely the weakest of the completed manhwas I’ve read on this list. The romance(?) can be a bit interesting but the payoff wasn’t that great. Art was also kinda generic.
A Guy Like You: The beginning seemed promising but then it devolved into a typical BL soap opera so sighhhh
Killing Stalking: Uhhhh I’m still following this yes. I’m too far gone with this might as well finish it. Sangwoo is such an irredeemable shitstain that if he doesn’t die by the end of this series I’ll cut someone.
Unfather: Guilty pleasure of mine I know. At least I know I don’t enjoy Killing Stalking in the kink sense but this one... damn. I blame the main character, he is exactly my type.
How sweet is a sugar daddy: The specific words I used to google this was “BL manhwa sugar daddy”... Yeah. I have no regrets. This one turned out to be surprisingly good? The character writing is solid and no stupid soap opera bullshit. Art style took a while to get used to but it reminds me of Nakamura Asumiko’s style which is pretty in its own way.

These of course are the more upbeat and catchy showstopper numbers that were often (with some exceptions) sung by the comic relief/sidekick characters and/or used in a lot of the marketing for these movies (Topsy Turvy for Huncback, Zero to Hero for Hercules, and Friend Like Me for Aladdin being the most notable examples).

AU where Mr. D claiming to be Percy’s dad accidentally counts as Claiming according to Greek god law or whatever and now all the other gods legitimacy believe Percy is his son, but if Mr. D corrects it, he has to explain to Zeus why he pretended he was Percy’s dad so now he’s like “YEP ol’ Perry Johansson is MY child wowie just look at the little fry, you have your mother’s eyes. Please stop standing next to water or you will blow my cover”
Meanwhile Poseidon is just standing off to the side like “how on earth did I dodge THAT bullet”
