Good morning? Good after or goodnight! Hope you’re having a wonderful day! I have 2 scenarios that came to mind, so I’ll let you pick whatever you want, whatever makes you imagination, imagine.

Scenario 1- the turtles have an s/o that’s like really good at something they love, like amazing at this, but s/o dose not like doing this and sees it more like some sort of chore. Due to the fact the parents made them do if from really young age, makinh them quite any other things and or hang outs, parties or anything else as they where expected to put 110% into this, they are good at it not because they want to, but because they had no choice but to be good at it.

for the things the s/o is really good at:

for Donnie it could be something to do with robotics, or coding

for mikey someyhung to do with cooking or ballet.

For Raph something with boxing, wrestling or some sort of martial arts

And for Leo maybe something with modelling, or icon.

Scenario 2-there a/o is a yokai, maybe like a rabbit or a weasel so when winter comes they just start turning white, how would they react? Would they freak out? Would they find it cool? Or even annoying at the fact fue is everywhere?

Squealed when he saw you.

He almost fainted, he thought someone had broken in until he saw your face.

When you explained that you were molting due to winter, you could see his shoulders drop in relief.

Gives you lots of scratches during your naps to get the extra fur off, he doesn't wanna make you itchy while awake.

If he hears you purring/clucking in your sleep, he knows he's not doing anything wrong.

Still, a little freaked out. But hey, you changes colors, that's cool in his eyes!

Leo

Genuinely fell over when he first witnessed you molting.

You had to repeat yourself a few times while explaining, you weren't sure if he was listening or not due to how surprised he was.

Whenever he leans in for a smooch, immediately starts to cough, he ALWAYS forgets molting includes free fur everywhere.

Please god why is there so much FUR.

Once tried to use his swords to cut off the extra fur.

It didn't end well. Thank god it was in a spot that wasn't noticeable.

Donnie

Already knew beforehand but seeing it in action is fascinating.

Star eyes in live action.

How many times are your lab privileges going to get revoked, reader?

Aside from the lab, you are to go for a shower before you cuddle or touch him at all.

Fur is nice sensory wise but, fur that isn't attached to you is prickly and icky.

After you molt, expect him to cling to you like a magnet. New fur equals heaven.

Mikey

If he isn't hanging out with you, he's hanging out with Donnie. So, of course he knew!

Still a little freaked out.

He actually adores the loose fur everywhere, it smells like you!

Plus, its like a little souvenir.

Extra plus, it's free art materials!

He sees you the same, regardless of changing color. <3

A/N: (I wish I had this idea during Hispanic Heritage Month it would've been nice to have posted this during that time but yeah I felt like writing Latino-coded Wooyoung 🤭)

Wooyoung the boyfriend that will always get up and dance with you whenever one of your favorite artist(s) comes up on a playlist and while he won’t exactly know how to dance said song he will be a lil’ goof and just go along with your steps. Even if it just means dancing around like a silly little goofball which only means he’s having fun.

Wooyoung the boyfriend who’d be willing to try new foods from your native home be it, (Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, etc) and give your favorite foods a taste. When he ends up liking it, he steals your plate rather than eating what he ordered.

Wooyoung the boyfriend you’d invite to a club with friends and the type who’d pull you towards him to dance with you be it silly dancing or following your lead to teach him your moves.

Wooyoung the boyfriend who would put in the effort whenever you’d taught him simple words such as “hi”, “nice to meet you.”, or even “you look sexy” in your native language because he wanted to improve his Spanish it to just learn a new language, talk dirty to you, and impress your friends/family with his Spanish. You’d always giggle whenever he said certain words with Korean pronunciation because Korean and Spanish were a bit similar if you really thought about it.

Wooyoung the boyfriend that doesn’t mind assisting you in the kitchen not because he wants to help but rather steal pieces of cooked meat you made for y’all to eat at for lunch. Which only ends up in him asking questions like, “what’s that?”, “that looks odd.”, “what does that do to the food?” And while you appreciate him wanting to learn, you just want him to stop questioning you and the ingredients only to have him kicked out the kitchen.

Wait ... I have an Eddie Diaz meta cooking but l wonder if the reason we're not seeing Tommy after this arc is because Buck's arc will be complete and his character isn't really needed beyond this. (Wait let me explain!!!)

This is an ensemble show so obviously other characters have to have their time to shine.

Buddie had obviously been used as a marketing tatic because let's be honest people love a good will they won't they relationship, even if they don't see it or claim to.

It intrigued people and honestly helps them tune in. You can even argue the misdirect/surprise of Eddie and Tommy is also related to this marketing/publicity tatic.

911 fans are loud but Buddie fans are (sometimes) louder. We really the recruiters tbh 😤 (i literally tuned in after an hour on Tumblr and a couple TikToks 😂) i hadn't found any American shows that got me like this.

We have Eddie now going through Catholic guilt (and his sisters! I'm still on that i ain't forget) and parenting and what it means for him. (I'll edit this with a link when I'm done)

We also have Bobby and his healing journey that isn't done. We also have Madney (gimme more wedding stuff my babies 🥺), and Athena and her son, and HenRen parenting challenges and adjustments.

Will that is to say he'll be like Ali, present when needed and gone because he has a JOB TOO! /j

They're both firefighters who have really intensive shifts. We love bucktommy (I'm mellow on it I'll see where it goes but they're cute) but it's still the end of his arc so it makes sense he'll be scarce with his job and the stories needed to be told and morals needed to be subliminally placed into our brains.

They're likely not breaking up but it will just be oh I'm taken, or some good old my boyfriend🥹 and move on to someone dying or sick in s tree or something.

Like the iconic atm scene, i loved that one.

The art style of Cloud Castle is absolute ass bro why are their eyes so big

I wish they brought back the og art style like Blue Scarab Hunt because that was gorgeous

Well if you’re referring to the book's artstyle as a whole, then calm down buddy the illustrations as a whole are pretty good all things considered (believe me some of the illustrations in the later books are waaaaayyyyy iffier)

But if you are referring to Danilo Barozzi’s illustrations in the book then uhhhhh… yeah I don’t blame you, I didn’t like the big anime irises either, she didn’t cook with this one,,,

The interesting thing is Barozzi also did pieces for Secret of the Snow and those looked fine (she did well enough that I have to squint to determine which ones were done by her). My guess is either she did a lot of the illustrations for the latter half of SotS and we just got used to it, or it’s because the artstyle of special editions 2 and 3 were more… experimental? Books 4 onwards developed a very specific… look for the artstyle that adhered very closely to the main book illustrations of Spanish Dance Mission onwards, thus the illustrators had to follow suit, resulting in whatever looks off to look especially off.

(Even with this set of pictures, I’m only about 70% sure these are Barozzi’s because of how alike yet different the styles are from each other in the book. The first one could be Barozzi’s, but it could also be Giuseppe Facciotto’s, since he also did illustrations for SotS and his stylization means he sometimes puts the eyes really close to each other in a way that’s weird but still makes sense somehow.) On the contrary, books 2 and 3 (and I would probably even include book 1 there) had a more experimental look to the illustrations, which seems to be based more on (and this is just a theory of mine) Giuseppe Facciotto’s iconic work for the covers of Mouseford Academy books 2-12, 14, 15 and 17 in the English books (he did waaayyy more covers for the Italian Mouseford books— he was basically the cover guy for the Mouseford books for a WHILE) as well as the books from Spanish Dance Mission to Lost Letters. If you’re wondering why those covers go as hard as they do, then now you know why.

(These aren’t all of Facciotto’s works for the covers we know in English but you can see that he popped off <3)

But yeah as you can see with special editions 2 and 3, the art direction seems to be heavily inspired by Facciotto’s artstyle.

However, when Barbara Pellizzari’s works became the aesthetic poster child of the books’ brand, that was reflected in the illustrations and how their aesthetic changed, as seen in the main books and how they look currently, special editions 4-9, and the Treasure Seekers trilogy.

This new profile thing of the girls? This was done by Pellizzari (coloring was done by Flavio Ferron), and thus it became the main reference for how the girls look in the book’s illustrations.

And it’s not just in the general direction to the artists for how to draw the Thea Sisters, but also in the direction given to the colorists. Alessandro Muscillo was the colorist for the special edition books since book 1 and the Treasure Seekers trilogy, and you can see that the direction for the style varied through books 1-3, like maybe direction was experimenting with the mood the illustrations were to convey, beginning with the cartoony and bright colors of book 1, easing into the more grounded and layered palettes of books 2 and 3

Then book 4 was when they transitioned to using digital art /j

I jest, but seriously book 4 was the debut of the coloring style we end up keeping for the rest of the special editions and for all of Treasure Seekers, which is very… bright :D

(I would show more picture examples but I manually took pictures of my physical copies for the Cloud Castle and SotS illustrations and gwuh I’m too lazy to grab my entire collection just to take pictures,,)

Bright as in like… the colors are very defined and saturated. I dunno how to describe it, but when you see it, you get what I mean. It’s very bright and pretty and colorful and it stands out. There are still variations that happen on occasion (Star Fairies in particular uses a good dose of airbrush for the lighting and shadow effects, and Crystal Fairies looks like someone had a bit of fun using sparkle brushes), but other than that, it’s very bright. I don’t hate it, but I do acknowledge that yeah, if I was introduced to the series when it had fully transitioned to the new style, I never would’ve gotten into the series in the first place, because the older books had something that didn’t make it feel specifically catered to girls. The colors were bright, but not too bright. Colorful, but unified. They weren’t that complicated, and they didn’t have to be because the colorists (plural, there were at least 3 per book once upon a time) were popping the hell off with the colors they were given. But y’know, the newer books’ consistent style did give me a good spot to practice drawing mouse furries so I’m not complaining too much about the newer style, haha.

(Tiny baby E’s (it’s literally from 2020 what’re you on about mate) her first mouse Violet drawing using Barbara Pellizzari’s artstyle in Treasure Seekers 1 as an anatomy guide!!)

With that said tho, yeah I miss the old books -m- dunno if it’d fit the aesthetic of the special editions but m a n we could’ve had it and it probably would’ve looked cool

Also the illustrations go way harder in the older books, like Prince's Emerald? I've talked about Prince's Emerald and how it goes hard before, and I still stand by it and say that it does in fact still go hard

Maybe it won't fit the uh splash of color they gave the hardcovers, but imagine they grabbed Giulia Basile's coloring work for the graphic novels and used that as sort've a basis for the coloring style of the hardcovers. Not exactly the same-- would probably still add a touch of whimsical watercolor and/or paint to the very cel-shaded style, but we could've had something pretty dope -m-

Anyway that's my ramble simultaneously defending the hardcovers' artstyle and reminiscing on what could've been haha

#geronimo stilton #thea stilton #thea sisters #questions with e #rambles #the style of the older books is gorgeous but the main thing I'm wondering is can it pull off fantastical whimsy #that's the main thing i dunno if it can do (i would love to be proven wrong tho)#the style is so grounded that i'm wondering if it can pull off what the hardcovers needed it to do #which is convey the otherworldly fantastical thrill of exploring the fantasy worlds (which uh the newer books were able to do but #my main gripe is that fantasy and reality are near indistinguishable in vibes coloring-wise #sure there are sparkles and stuff is more saturated but the girls' dorm in book 4 still has the same-ish feel of the land of clouds #i dunno what it is. the bright colors just feel mundane somehow and don't take a shift when returning to reality)#looked at my books again and i think it might be the fact that the later books have no grounding color?#compare book 3 to book 5 and you'll see it the most distinctly methinks #the newer coloring style doesn't have a color that grounds the illustrations' palettes and thus everything's always bright 100% of the time #the girls' colors are always at their most saturated #like they're always under broad daylight in terms of lighting #it's not eyebleeding or anything but they don't look affected by the lighting in the setting they're currently in #and the result is it looks.... meh?#we get so used to the bright colors that they end up looking meh somehow #i'm not an art expert by any means this is just my observations as someone with a little too much brainrot

I'm trying to get into comics, any recommendations?

I'm a DC girl so this list is gonna be very DC heavy, sorry.

All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely: The book that made me a Superman fan. Beautiful, joyful, self-contained story.

The Flash by Mark Waid: Will make you a Flash fan. Some of the first comics I ever read come from this run. The original run is collected in omnibus format but Mark had a second, shorter run from around 98-2000 that wrapped up a lot of loose ends, and another one around 2008. Those are good too.

The New Teen Titans by Marv Wolfman and George Perez: This book probably saved DC, and it's a wonderful read.

Batman by Scott Snyder: One of the best modern Batman runs, although it suffers from the stink of the New 52 at times.

52 by Mark Waid, Greg Rucka, Grant Morrison, Geoff Johns, and Keith Giffen: Might need some onboarding for this one but it's a great read focusing on some of the second-string characters in the DCU and a triumph of collaborative storytelling. Its spinoff Booster Gold series is great too.

Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross: A surprisingly-accessible refutation of the 1990s trend towards darker and edgier superheroes, it's a must-read for the beautiful painted artwork alone.

Mister Miracle and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, both by Tom King: Tom King's had some big misses, especially Heroes in Crisis, for which as a Wally West fan I should want his blood. He makes up for it when he hits, though. These two titles are his best work.

Secret Six by Gail Simone: A great off-beat title revolving around a small group of supervillains trying to do good. Wish they'd bring this concept back tbh.

DC: The New Frontier by Darwyn Cooke: A love letter to the Silver Age of Comics with gorgeous artwork. Was later adapted into an animated film, which is also very good.

Dwayne McDuffie's original Milestone Comics (incl. Icon, Hardware, and Static), are all very good titles focusing specifically on Black heroes. McDuffie also had a great run on Justice League of America from 2007 to 2009.

Justice League International by Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis, and Kevin Maguire: A great and hilarious book that offers a much more lighthearted take on the DC Universe. There's a lot of focus on more obscure and minor characters which I always enjoy.

Doom Patrol by Grant Morrison and Rachel Pollock: If you've seen the TV show, it cribs heavily from this. A lovely series featuring a group of misfits trying to find their way in the world.

Jack Kirby's Fourth World: Brilliant, esoteric, at times close to incomprehensible. A must-read.

The Question by Dennis O'Neil: A wonderfully cerebral and philosophical series. Denny left reading recs in every issue! See also his run on Green Lantern/Green Arrow, which is a bit outdated but still electrifyingly political for its time, and his seminal run on the Batman titles.

Marvel

Uncanny X-Men by Chris Claremont: One of the greatest comic book runs of all time. Largely defined the X-Men for several generations basically until the Krakoa era. Most X-Men stories on the "greatest of all time" list come from this run.

Vision by Tom King: Hey, it's Tom King again! He wrote for Marvel too. This one's a really good character piece featuring a character who often doesn't get to stand on his own.

Daredevil by Mark Waid: The best Daredevil run, hands down.

The Amazing Spider-Man by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko: The original Spider-Man run is still my favorite. Some great Silver Age nonsense combined with great character drama is what put Marvel on the map, and it's on full display here.

Runaways by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona: A really good series that's mostly self-contained about a bunch of kids who run away from home after discovering that their parents are supervillains.

Fantastic Four by Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo: I sing Waid's praises a lot, but damn can he write. The best run for Marvel's First Family.

Others

Bone by Jeff Smith: An epic fantasy adventure starring three cartoon funny animal characters. My favorite comic of all time.

Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai: Another epic starring funny animals, this time set in the Edo period of Japan. Mostly episodic, so it's really easy to jump into.

Astro City by Kurt Buseik: Another love letter to the Silver Age, and to superheroes in general. Essential reading.

The Jacksepticeye Cinematic Universe: Chase Brody

The 2022 Revival with the return of the JSE egos & newly established universe. Ready or not, for a 5th time buckle up once again.

And here we go!

May 20th

Jack himself on Discord promises there will be new ego material;

May 22nd

On JSETWT (a community Twitter page), Jack also responds to a post about missing Chase & saying that “he’ll be back”.

May 23rd

Jack makes this post on JSETWT;

Admitting how daunting it was to attempt to do it by himself, and how he has received help from our own @turquoisemagpie (referred to as Magpie from here on out)!

May 24th

We noticed a change of an iconic title from “Dark Silence” to “What do you want from me?”; a direct quote from Chase in that ending.

Which may not be a coincidence when compared to previous titles.

(Also important to note is we got both Jack’s & Magpie’s own ego tier lists, something other community members were doing.)

June 4th

In this video (& this one, ~2 weeks later) we get some ego updates.

June 9th

This intro is a little suspicious/ glitchy with similar Quit The Game to Win vibes.

June 20th

In a reblog from Magpie, we see for the 1st time (but not the last) a strange symbol; (•:) It appears again in a Code Guide, & how a something very similar looks to be engraved in the orb from Argentum Inanis.

June 22nd

Over on Twitter, a page called I.R.I.S is discovered.

Speculation explodes about who they are, a poster about working with them, how their symbol being an eye is cause for worry, a question about superhero powers, an approaching 100th anniversary, & that IRIS (something written in the spellbook from Argentum Inanis) was an acronym all along.

Then later, the same symbol is added to their page.

June 26th

They Are Here... l 3 Scary Games is uploaded. The intro & other moments in the video shows a security camera perspective in the recording room, & a septiceye is found during a glitch effect.

Later, the title & thumbnail change; revealing an eye & lights not there before;

July 5th

IRIS tweets how they’ll show some of their earliest prototypes leading up to their 100th anniversary. In a reply they say “We will be sharing pics periodically in the coming weeks”. Later Jack's instagram story is about.... Old puppets.

July 7th

IRIS reveals their 1st prototype, some earbuds; saying “The Computer’s Aid! With a simple bone-conduction implant, this little device increased a person’s mental arithmetic skills by 76%!”

Something a certain Doctor might find very useful, & a possible advancement. A day later, IRIS shows an earlier version that could only “do one ear at a time”.

June 10th

It’s Jackieboyman’s birthday! Jack tweets this out;

Which was done in a collab with Magpie & Topicgurin.

Meanwhile, we get some more hints from Magpie in another Theory Stream; including things about Overnightwatch glitches, Chase’s mental state, & Schneeplestein (& possibly where he’d been for 9 months).

The next day, Jack posts in JSETWT that as much as he wanted to post a JBM video, he doesn’t want to do the same thing with the same outfit as before, but for his return to be “expensive & meaningful. He’s a superhero, he should look like one too”.

July 16th

IRIS posts another prototype; the Retrowave. They say “A year after the first commercial microwave was launched in 1947, IRIS took cooking one step further. The Retrowave! Not only could it cook frozen meals to perfection, it could return a stale meal back to its freshest state! Here the lab boys are testing a chicken dinner”

July 31st

Another IRIS tweet, praising the James Webb Telescope photos... Which were released around 2 weeks earlier in real time.

August 3rd

It’s the 5th anniversary (or, half a decade) of Kill JSE, still one of the biggest (& heartbreaking) ego videos to be released, so far.

Jack’s later upload itself is not suspicious, except for the first & end in-video ads, which are both edited with a big horror edge. In the later one, there’s this;

Where the bottom numbers may just reference a future date.

August 11th

It’s another birthday- our magic boi Marvin! IRIS also tweets out a direct quote from one of three laws regarding impossibility.

Just like JBM’s birthday, Jack acknowledges Marvin’s;

August 12th

The next day, we get IRIS’s 3rd prototype. A measuring tape-like item, or “The wondrous Lite-R device! This nifty little quantum mass displacer turned humanly unliftable objects as light as air! Just make sure that construction beam doesn’t go floating away in the breeze!”

Also, Jack tweets how he is on the move (via airplane).

August 14th

The upload of the day’s intro is a little... Off-putting. The ending as well has another staring contest (but shorter than QTGTW).

Jack retweets the IRIS Night Watcher poster. He also posts this, saying how he is in LA at the moment to film things with the IRIS project & his plan is to “blow your minds in the next year or so with this story and world”.

The next day, IRIS tweets an appreciation post for a Dr. Louise Hopkins.

August 17th & 18th

Jack has been busy with filming with Mark’s & corridor digital’s help. We get a few instagram stories showing some hospital equipment & an IRIS script.

August 20th

IRIS tweets a familiar question, this time with picture of a real-life security camera, and Jack lets us know that filming has wrapped up.

August 21st

We get this upload; WTCHR.

It’s video from IRIS themselves advertising their latest camera security system that’s able to watch detect both motion & even emotion, powered by an Antimatter generator. We question who the WTCHR might actually be & another possible rule of 3.

In the thumbnail there appears to be another eye/ SOS, & the Twitter IRIS symbol changes. The next day both the title & thumbnail change. A few days later Jack’s returned home, saying he can’t wait to show us all what he’s filmed.

September 1st

In I Spent a Day With JSE, Jack talks a bit more about the current IRIS plans.

September 10th

(It seems like those numbers from the nordvpn ad screenshot were in reference to this date, 9-10). IRIS posts their 4th invention;

“Infinity-color TV! Historically the first ‘high definition’ television; not bad for 1973! It was sadly recalled after 7 months due to reports of permanent colour-blindness. Don’t sit too close to THIS screen!”

September 15th

It is our very own Dr. Schneeplestein’s birthday; instead of a birthday post or acknowledgement as we’ve seen before (& some were predicting), IRIS tweets how they have “a power-related issue”.

September 22nd

A week later IRIS asks us what we could tell our past selves if time travel was possible, a slight title change is noticed with WTCHR, & the next day CHASE is added to its’ description. A few days later Sean lets us know that he knows his next upload will be his 5,000th.

September 30th

Jack... States how October starts the very next day. With an eye emoji. Joy.

October 1st

It’s spooky month. IRIS tweets a quick (& familiar) BOO!!

October 2nd

Jack tweets a 10 sec clip of alarms & a warning sign/ IRIS poster.

October 4th

IRIS tweets a vid clip, with eerie sirens, a loading screen, what looks like an interrogation room, & what could be a spot for a facecam or a familiar security camera format.

October 5th

Jack hits the ground running with this attention-grabbing tweet;

Soon enough; this is my 5,000th video is uploaded. Jack is going through different ideas, styles, & variations of what he ‘could do’ for his 5,000th vid (including the slap chop, finally). There’s a quick few clips of something different- then we get to the ending. A teaser trailer for the IRIS Project.

We see Chase being questioned about how he suddenly got from the woods to a rooftop (directly about/ from CHASE, go watch it). A red, bloody massacre with a plea “I didn’t kill them”, strange but familiar sayings, symbols & posters, an ominous quote yelled (that IRIS directly tweets later), Chase’s accusing “you guys knew & you did nothing!”

October 7th

It’s a selfie day in the JSE TWT community tab, so Jack himself posts this:

It’s Anti’s birthday! The clothing brand Cloak tweets such a happy b-day post all in zalgo. Later... Jack himself tweets this out;

October 13th

It’s been 3 years since CHASE. Meanwhile, Jack tweets another short IRIS clip, this one showing scenes from CHASE & “Discovery Logs”, “Persons of Interest” / “SUBJECTS”.

October 17th

Jack posts this video; & through out the run-time are random glitches & quick clips from the IRIS Project. The next day on his Discord, Jack promises more spooks & he’s been “enormously busy”.

October 19th

Another video upload on the channel, & more IRIS glitches. Jack also later says in a reply on the JSETWT page that there is no date set as things aren’t quite ready yet, but “soon” will be.

October 21st

Yet another full game let’s play, & even more glitches- including a new one showing a bowtie (& a certain dapper gentleman has worn before);

October 23rd

Someone is trying to hack into IRIS... Also, Jack lets us know that he’s very sick.

October 25th

Another IRIS character is introduced; Dr. Lucille Bell, & later a new clip gets tweeted by Jack, showing Chase’s psyche analysis.

October 27th

IRIS tweets out more info; note the shadow outline on the screen.

October 28th - 30th

Each day from IRIS we get number with a short clip, essentially a countdown & in a spectrogram from one of the IRIS clips, “NOT SAFE” is found.

Jack posts how Project IRIS is dropping the next day on Halloween, & even uploads a video. We also get new Night-Watch IRIS posters from Magpie.

October 31st - Happy Halloween!

Jack posts a couple comments about today. Then a tweet that things were about to start. It gets posted aaaand- it’s a livestream? Showing a computer for a password??

Yep. It’s up to chat to figure out what it is & post the answer one letter at a time. Just like Overnightwatch (& /zoom), this turns out to be “I AM HERE”.

Where we are transported to another room, with a time bar at the bottom slowly running out.

It turns out this entire event- this ARG- has rooms where the live chat can actually control the camera movements to find a hidden puzzle, complete the game/ puzzle before time runs out, & a video clip is released.

It takes some time with nearly 40k watching & participating, but Jack (& IRIS) kept us updated! The stream even crashed at one point.

There are several easter eggs in a couple different places, (including a turtle, that was actually Magpie’s idea. Awe. We named him Gerald.)

Later, Jack posts the entire video; ANOMALY FOUND - CHASE BRODY. It shows Chase at IRIS for (supposedly) a week.

October 18th, 2019, day one; Chase is being questioned by IRIS (for simplicity, we’ll call Dr. Arin) about how he spontaneously appeared after the events of CHASE. He is consistently asked about being in contact with a Subject/ ALTR 114209, & told he cannot leave.

October 19th, day two; Chase is given the Dr. Hopkins Assessment that is filled with all sorts of questions, & is pushed to the limit.

Day three; no one comes to talk with Chase, but at least is given a tennis ball for distraction. However he hears sounds/ voices he recognizes & shouts out some familiar words.

October 21st, day four; Dr. Arin informs that both exposure levels & levels in the room “have also been increased”. They repeat the same Assessment as before, but this time there are light flashes & Chase becomes more & more distraught. He stumbles over his answers & can’t understand what’s happening to him.

Day five; Chase is alone again, but hears a different voice that he calls ‘Echo’. Chase insists that they can both leave if they work together, & discovers Echo has seen Anti too. After claiming Chase is “special” they abruptly leave.

Day six; Dr. Arin tries a different, more kind & sympathetic approach to get Chase to open up. He tells a case about how IRIS helps people, that he knows what Chase has been through (with an evil giggle heard), how he has seen ALTR 114209, & who he was; “a husband. A father”. Chase tearfully claims “I didn’t kill them”.

Day seven; Chase is told he needs to be moved to a more secure location, but panics when he recognizes a red hallway. “I’ve been here before” & says they have to leave. When IRIS doesn’t listen, he attempts to flee but gets dragged back- pleading all the way.

The finale; a dead guard shows right away that everything went wrong, then we actually go through Chase’s cell camera to the same hallway. Bodies now litter the space, fresh blood on the ground. A figure levitates down & makes his way to Chase on the other end, leaving bloody footprints in his wake.

Anti greets him, in a voice not like one we’ve heard before caused by the scar across his throat, with “hello Chase”.

The video then ends.

Afterwards, IRIS tweets “service maintenance required”.

The next day, we get a partially REDACTED document from IRIS, & Sean does a livestream going over the Project- & the future.

November 3rd - 4th

Jack tweets in a reply how Chase canonically has only 1 kid now. The next day, we find out it’s IRIS’s 100th Anniversary;

Which happens to be the mirrored date of Chase’s first video.

Later, in another Theory Stream going over the Project; Magpie hints IRIS redacted info from us as Echo was communicating with Chase, & Anti’s line was originally a different voice than the final version.

A = Affection

★ 尾形 and His feelings towards the person does not really matter. One can be His “close comrade”, “friend” or perhaps “acquaintance”, but He would not show any form of affection. Towards the person He shares feelings with – if They would not share Them, He would simply forgot Them – He gets somewhat protective of, but is not scared to give Them a lesson by leaving Them for Their own. He believes that everyone should be independent, if not, that is Their fault.

B = Best Friend

★ 尾形 has no best friend, He is His own best friend and worst enemy. If He was to make any friends, He would probably not even try. There would be a conversation, maybe a way to help someone out for own benefit and there it would be. Mashup of memories.

C = Cuddles

★ 尾形 tends to sleep alone and cuddles are not something He really experienced much. If there’s a cold night ahead, no chance of lighting up a fire, possibly a chance to get hypothermia – He tries to stay back, but ends up under one blanket with others. With His S/o, He’s used to being the pillow or lending His chest/shoulder as one. But only on occasion.

D = Domestic

★ 尾形 is not family oriented, yet settling down after war is not a bad idea. He would still end up hunting alone in the woods. If His life was narrated differently, He would end up as a dentist, but that’s a different timeline. *Winks* 尾形 can clean and cook and quite well, but being the bastard He is, He would not share a bit.

E = Ending

★ 尾形 ways are nice and easy. You want to leave? Fine, fuck and enjoy Yourself. He can care less and can forget in no time. A revenge? Sorrow? Regret? And for what? He can go and live as He used to. One man army. Loner. 尾形.

F = Fiance(e)

★ 尾形, again, is not the family oriented one. Marriage seems only like a form of commitment that means ‘we have papers’ and nothing else. If He wants to be with somebody, marriage is not anything that world-shattering (in any form of good/bad) and special. He and His S/o are together and that is that, no change after marriage. Only that He should now cook for both.

G = Gentle

★ 尾形 is the typical asshole. He’s iconic for His sarcasm, irony, smirks and His hunter nature. And all these elements make Him an annoying one. So , no gentle touches or kisses around people and in the privacy of His life with His S/o? He acts dominant, cold, sometimes He does something out of the ‘尾形 Ordinary Graph Of Things He Does’.

H = Hugs

★ 尾形 does not do hugs, but when He does, it feels like suffocating or territorial marking. He does not like Them and as with hugs, can allow such close-contact in case of Hypothermia – maybe it won't even persuade Him. His S/o must accept this. Hugging and embodiment of physical touch can piss Him. Depends on how personal it can get.

I = I L?ve You

★ 尾形 and Love. So complicated. It can take years towards a person. It does not have to come in the shape of words. He might not be seeing it in Him. The things is, Love in 尾形’s way is different. A winding road into the unknown lands. Not even He knows if He’s able to pronounce Them with emotions typical for Love.

J = Jealousy

★ 尾形 gets jealous and sportive only over someone who’s a sniper. The hunt begins and He’s eager to win it. Nothing can stop 尾形 once His precise mark stumbles upon another human being. And jealousy over His S/o? Oh, please, who would even try? Only someone who does not know Him would try. His S/o is nice and secure.

K = Kisses

★ 尾形’s kisses – if They are present – feel bitter-sweet. Kissing His S/o neck, bones that stick out, cheeks, biting a bit. 尾形 can get into mood, but the key is time, trusting and being less of an idiot in His eyes. Special thing to note, 尾形 prefers giving kisses instead of receiving. His favourite place to be kissed is probably any place between neck and chest or hands.

L = Little ones

★ 尾形 does not care about Them. Viewing little ones as small adults, He understands They cannot be blamed much. He can take care of Them, protect Them if He must, teach Them, but He will never be the father nor brother figure for Them. Although He is quite careless, His way of ‘going on a walk’ and deep talk compensate for everything He lacks.

M = Morning

★ 尾形 is early bird, because He does not sleep much. Waking up means seeing Him already pondering about life, taking care of His gun, Himself or barely living. It is an interesting conversation full of cold and stoic expressions.

N = Night

★ 尾形 lonely nights are combination of patrolling and insomnia. Nothing much on His mind except what He must do the next day and that He cannot sleep. After war or with His S/o, He makes sure everything is at peace and in order. He explains this with a typical sentence: ‘For my own sake.’

O = Open

★ 尾形 takes time not as ‘precious’ but as ‘certainty’. People around Him learn step by step. His past, His present, His future. Major three groups of His secrets and personality. One would be shocked to learn He dislikes shiitake mushrooms, is 171 cm tall and that He hates long baths. Shocked? 尾形 seems as not only loner wolf.

P = Patience

★ 尾形 has no anger issues. It may take a good while, but people that were pissing Him off always ended up competing with Him or in the cycle ‘comes, goes, runs, escapes, meets, comes, goes,...’ again and again. Until one dies! Or Their anger passes. What definitely can piss Him off is when someone who does bad to Him suddenly poses as His friend. He would rather if They begged or ran around, instead of being fake.

Q = Quizzes

★ 尾形 remembers everything, but sometimes acts as He does not know or misheard it. To His extended utility, what He does not need or want, He simply does not mention or use. This is quite the trick up in His sleeve against Himself and others. Even His S/o. Another way to tease or annoy people with smirk and please.

R = Remember

★ 尾形 definitely likes when both He and His S/o are silent and alone together. Despite being loner, knowing His S/o is watching Him take care of His gun – in and out – and S/o asking here and there, makes Him feel good. It’s that form of shared memory where one can learn from the other and about Their favourite hobbies. It makes Him feel as if there were some pleasant family-like memories from His youth. And, His memory of killing His younger half-brother. There was something in it, something that marked Their whole bloodline, but backfired.

S = Security

★ 尾形 does not want to be the one protected by anyone, He wants to protect Himself. He does not believe in anyone except Himself, yet when a team or division works together, He joins in. As already mentioned, He tends to give space or only slight help to His S/o, so there can be a way His S/o learns and adapts even for own sake.

T = Try

★ 尾形’s effort is shown differently. He would share His food, maybe, but do not expect it. He would say something less irritating and probably tried to use more emotions in His tone of voice. As for other special dates and anniversaries, 尾形 is good where He is. But can spend money to make His S/o happier. That smile sure does something to Him. And in everyday tasks, He cleans around, That could count, no?

U = Ugly

★ 尾形 if we do not count His behaviour, what actually can be 尾形’s bad habit? There could be saké tolerance, insomnia counted in or overall PTSD from war. His distancing is part of His persona and preferences as well. Turning His back against people or forgetting Them easily can seem ruthless. Ignorant in a blizzard of occurrences, formed around and within His life.

V = Vanity

★ 尾形 is one hella concerned guy. His hair must be on top, as He likes it, even during war times! No matter who wants to kill Him or what job is meant to be done. His hair will always be stylish, so He can run His hand through, show off and look incredible as He kills.

W = Whole

★ 尾形 without His S/o would not really be incomplete, more like, used to the lonely or alone time. As the time would pass, considering He would care about His S/o, 尾形 would start feeling like there’s something out of ordinary and missing. And when it comes to divisions, He can switch between Them freely.

X = Xtra

★ 尾形 eats snow for holding own breath, to steady His mind and mark. Each kill He gets, He writes down into one notebook in His one of His inside pouches. He’s good in the tactical field and surviving in the field. And so, if 尾形 ever wanted to go and live alone, He would probably learn from a Matagi hunters.

Y = Yuck

★ 尾形 hates few people and things: 花沢 family, His parents, people, shiitake mushrooms, liars, someone making fun of His skill, dogs and His hair not being clean. That would do it for 尾形. And in partner? Definitely disrespect, invading space, bad hygiene and useless in form – cleaning, cooking (can be forgiven since He can cook for Himself and can care less),...

Z = Zzz

★ 尾形 is sleeping as any other soldier. Straight, gun in hands, light sleep. He does not snore and sometimes can fall into a microsleep or while He’s sitting down. His microsleep lasts for a really, really short period. He’s battling insomnia and can stay awake for two days and a few hours awake. And sleeping with His S/o? He’s the one to be the pillow for the other, occasionally.

I've never rly thought about good trios ngl, i've only ever looked at them as good duos, but nonetheless lemme give my little thoughts on SDMN's best duos n trios:

HARRY AND VIK - ofc, wroetostar, vikkshaw, it's just iconic... I mean, there's this video on YouTube which is the cutest compilation of their moments... idk, Harry's so outgoing n vibes and Vik's so down to earth and realistic - Harry's chaos rubs off on Vik and gets him out his comfort zone in such a way that Harry's constantly having a whale of a time - really lovely friendships n always shits n gigs when these two are paired up

SIMON AND TOBI - just bare wholesome - they're so cute w one another and the "buying presents" series is always such a sweet watch... Plus in this week's SDMN Sunday, Tobi for the first time showed some sorta homiesexuality which is j such always so goofy - i acc love the new genre of married YouTubers who are comfortable with now just flirting n being all homiesexual w their mates + the Tobi-Simon homiesexuality is always such a jokes watch

JJ AND JOSH - Bit of an odd one ik, but they're just so... well, odd. JJ's plain weird. He has a way with being a fuckin oddball constantly. and how do you fight fire? With fire. Josh somehow takes JJ's weirdness and ups it a level - literally shocking JJ whenever he does and actually making me love their friendship. Plus, BIG UP JJ, because him saying all that about Josh's new hair - literally saying that Josh was so hot at Vik's wedding n all that - I love the supportiveness n sheer weirdness in their friendship.

TOBI AND VIK - Wholesome, wholesome, wholesome! Gahh Tobi's always having a laugh with Vik which is a cute watch considering generally the SDMN push Vik away or aren't as jokeful with him... Good thing Tobi's always having a laugh with him though. And omds, their highlight on YouTube was in the Xmas cooking video on the SDMM channel, where Vik's drunk from Harry's enigmatic wine concoction and goes to Tobi for support, who gives him this big bear hug and laughs with him... Love these two for that <3

SIMON AND ETHAN - homiesexual kings honestly. Both down for a little giggle with one another, and they're both such a strange mixture of stubborn and easy-going, they either gel together as such a funny pairing or simply argue... But when they get on and fuck around, they're honestly hilarious as a duo. I mean, the Sidemen's most watched vid of the rich v cheap holiday in Europe showed their friendship so well imo, absolute cuties.

[27/02 ADDITION] - Simon and Deji - They're j so sweet together. That Deji chuckle-y laugh that Simon always makes happen + the way Simon always finds Dej so out of pocket but hilarious... Yeah, they're ofc a fave.

Ethan, Simon n Tobi - laid back trio, literally so chill n always having best vibes with one another

Gib w anyone. - trust me on this, if you've watched the camping video or even the camping clips you'll understand that this man is JOKES. honestly, always raising spirits and getting everyone laughing bc he's just flipping ridiculous sometimes
