An addendum:

I don't mean to be condescending. I just don't like the idea that the hard, scary things in my stories need to be explained in depth. Part of the joy of reading any story is pulling elements for yourself.

Part of the joy of angsty tales is sitting with and relating to or undestanding those difficult things from a different viewpoint.

I just reread it, and i think the allusion holds up. It also has a child abuse tag on AO3. If that feels vague, I apologize and can change it.

Please note that nothing explicit happens in the fic. But Chaim makes some unnerving realizations.

As for the mispelling, it's a pet peave. Something that is so serious business as sexual abuse deserves to be taken seriously and spelled properly, no matter if certain social media sites think we should sanitize it. And everything.

Don't know exactly how to express this in words but the Fast Car Tracy Chapman youtube comments section is a new emotion on its own

#i was going to take a screenshot of one comment but i just kept scrolling down and almost all of them were just affecting me #like i closed my eyes and listened to the song but scrolling through what people all over the world had to say was something as well #just the mix of appreciation for the music and love for it and how it affects all these people mixed with snippets of stories of #people using this song to get them through or inspire them to get themselves out of terrible situations #its just... things that make you feel human #its like this is a persons story. these are people we are all people and come from different places and have gone through different things #but we can all relate and feel the same. no matter where we come from we can feel the wish to escape the want to be somebody the desire to #change and the hope to do so. but theres also the fear and the responsibility and through all of that just wanting someone to love you and #go with you and not be alone #its just things that are real and true and make you feel how much of a person you are #i 100% recommend listening to fast car on youtube right now and then scrolling through and reading some of those messages by the way #its a whole other emotion of its own #its like the fast car tracy chapman emotion but more and even realer if that is even possible #its like one commenter said the song was a novel in five minutes but listening and then reading is even more than that. its not a book its #not a library its all these stories and lives around you coming together with your own in this one spot this one means of understanding and #through that you see part of all these journeys and these people and all understand each other and yourself and what it means to be a person #a little more #that seems like a lot of stuff but i dont know what to tell you. its true.

AU where Hawkfrost, Mothwing, and Tadpole(kit) are the children of Bluestar and Oakheart.

Tadpolekit freezes to death still (maybe he falls through the ice as Oakheart is bringing them to RiverClan. Or he drowns sneaking out of camp with his littermates.)

Mothwing able to pursue the medicine cat position with ease since her father is the deputy. Hawkfrost doesn’t feel the need to prove himself. He’s able to be a regular loyal warrior and Leopardstar’s deputy.

All that changes though when they learn Bluestar is their mother, and TigerClan is formed. Tigerstar imprisons Hawkfrost, Mothwing, Featherpaw, and Stormpaw for their Half-Clan blood. Now, Mothwing is stripped of her medicine cat position by Tigerstar who claims a cat born of an unholy union couldn’t possibly hold a holy position. When Tigerstar demands that Hawkfrost kill the two apprentices, Hawkfrost, desperate to keep his place in RiverClan, agrees with Tigerstar’s orders.

However, it’s not too long until TigerClan is absolved and Hawkfrost must reconcile with what he’s done as his Clan doesn’t look at him the same. Mothwing is disgusted in him and her faith is shattered: how could StarClan allow a cat as cruel as Tigerstar to be leader?

Just think it’s an interesting concept.

Chapter 1: Pearls of Light

Vancouver Airport

I am not a professional actress. I did this on a whim. It was exhilarating doing an audition for my favourite tv series. I never thought I'd get the job. When I started my road to get a diploma in tv broadcasting. It was for behind the scenes. As either a writer or video editor.

My good friend Chelsea actually suggested I'd do it since they were doing auditions locally and that's how I found myself on a plane to Vancouver. I hope I am not dressed too casual with this red T-shirt and black jeans

As soon as I land and exit the terminal. I see a familiar face, Clif Jared and Jensen's bodyguard. The older man gives off a very warm welcoming vibe. He's dressed casually. I can help but wonder what he's doing here. Shouldn't he be with them?

"Hi, Miss Eng Kripke sent me to come to pick you up. Let me take your luggage." Clif said.

"Thanks, Clif, it's wonderful to meet you and please call me Jen. It's wonderful to meet you." I replied with a smile.

"You're welcome, Jen and thanks the same goes for you," Clif said with a smile.

Cliff put my luggage in the trunk as I got into the backseat.

So here we go off to set.

Jared and Jensen are there to greet us. They are already dressed in wardrobe. Typical Winchester uniform of plaid and jeans. They look even more jaw-dropping in person. Jared especially. What can I say? I've always been a Sam girl.

I fiddle with the rings that I've always worn on my right hand. It's always helped soothe my nerves.

“Hi, I am Jensen and this is Jared. I am sure you already know that. It’s nice to meet you. Welcome to the set. Let me show you around.” Jensen said. Jared is unnaturally quiet. He just scanned me up and down. I wonder what is up with him today. We've only known each other for a short time, it's not my place to ask. One thing I know for sure I will enjoy my time here.

They showed me various sets, like Bobby's house and some of the motel rooms. The best part of the tour though is getting to ride in Baby. This feels like a dream. I don't think it will last. I might as well make the most of it.
