Abhi tak to sahi mei.

I have 3 research papers. I am in 2nd Sem. I don't know anything. How the fuck am I supposed to write one, especially when my attention span has reduced to the point of non-existence. I just don't feel like studying. Matlab. Colleges will hold mental health sessions and not reduce workload by an inch.

the nights

i believe these nights make you certain. certain that you won’t be here forever certain that you want to make a difference but you’re unsure how. certain that you can make a difference in even the smallest of ways, its the want to make a difference. i believe at these nights we are certain of what we want to be, not the specifics but simply what we want to be better at. i believe these nights are the nights where your demons figure out how to outdo themselves because you just  keep pushing the nights of calm where we are nothing but human in the vast expanse of nature wishing only to be a part of something bigger, a part of something that means everything. i like to remind my friends i love them and care for them on these nights, because if i can make their day ever so barely bright, i’ve succeeded. 

it is just, feeling disconnected kinda like when you repeat a word so much that it loses it’s meaning. you feel numb, like a speck floating in empty space, your thoughts suddenly become sound that gets louder and louder and you’re cool with it, cause you weirdly, surprisingly, feel peace.

its one of those nights where you can’t stop thinking about your inevitable death, but you just can’t wait to see what life brings you. it’s one of the nights where you remember the old nights and wish you could go back, yet you’re so happy with how far you have come and feel ready to continue.

a place that doesn’t exist but nonetheless still makes me homesick

i really suck at functioning in society. i have awkward silences with my frens now. sometimes even my s/o. and there's so much i wanna tell them. but idk how to. i feel awkward with strangers. i have limited frens. and idk how to make more. even when im close proximity with more ppl. we could probably talk and get somewhere. how do we start. what do i say. they most likely think im a pathetic loner and don't wanna interact. and if i put in efforts, i probably come off as desperate. but what if they seem to not really not be bothered by me. then i over share and embarrass myself. im so boring. i bring up weather and boring college talks. cos the other alternative is my internal monologue. and that's worse.

5. do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?

i think a little bit of both. The things i do, do indicate who i am. But there are things called rash decisions, and half the times i’m not even thinking straight and speak and do some garbage stuff.  And there are so many things that i wanna do but don’t cause anxiety and insecurity which define me as a human being. My thoughts and musings that i don’t share with anyone definitely define me. so more of a human being than human doing i guess

 24. have you ever felt like you had a “mind-meld” with someone?

yeah, lots of times. with like 2 or 3 friends, we have said the same things at the same time innumerable times and i’m so astounded and delighted by it. Happens with tumblr friends a lot more though!
