Base dynamics of the silliest trio ever.

Loop didn't know Odile was looping alongside Siffrin at first and fucking panicked and just. Didn't mention Sif at all to her. They then proceeded to fumble telling Sif about Odile. Cue Loop desperately balancing a distressed and terrifyingly perceptive researcher and a traveller who is fast approaching insanity. They are digging their own grave. It's going to be funny to watch.

Odile is desperately trying to understand why she's randomly looping through time, simply because it's entirely dependent on Siffrin so she has no reliable data. She's also trying to figure out what's up with Loop because they are incredibly concerning.

Siffrin. Wants Odile to stick to the fucking script. Because she keeps randomly acting off and it's screwing with the other actors. He is not enjoying her throwing off the rhythm. They also want to strangle Loop because they keep acting weird. Siffrin is not having a good time.

#micas art #enstars #ensemble stars #あんスタ #hinata aoi #yuta aoi #ive yet to share anything about this au with anyone but for context: this is my very loose take on a pmmm au #most of enstars' storyline goes the same but at certain points kyubey chimes in and offers a wish in exchange for help with fighting witche #in the twins' case he gets to hinata first some time before the setsubun disaster. he hasnt gotten to expose his feelings to yuta #and kyubey takes advantage of that to offer an easy solution to his issue! so hinata wishes to vanish from yuta's life and memories #in consequence yuta is left on his own without a single memory of hinata but a very strong sense that something is out of place #everything in his life seems to go fine: he gets along great with his classmates. he works hard to improve as an idol in school #but for some reason he cant seem to shake the feeling that the world has become a little too quiet and vast #that something is missing and not right #and so when kyubey approaches him offering miracles he chooses to follow his guts and wishes to find whatever's been missing from his side #i wont go into further details (bc this is getting really long djdjd) but id be happy to talk about it more!! #only other unit ive got finished stuff for is valk (4 pieces to be exact) but i plan on sharing these later so yeah!! enjoy this for now~

The last couple of months I've been watching a whole lot of Drawfee. It's super fun and funny, the hosts are great and they're especially good artists. I've been feeling like I'm pulling at the leash of my art as of late, trying to like, grow and develop but not really knowing how or where to start, or being scared to do bad art. I want to push my ideas BEYOND the realm of fanart, and that's hard, bc that requires more actual practice and stretching ideas conceptually than what I usually do. I've generally been feeling really bad about my art, feeling like I can't draw or what i wanted to draw was stupid or lame or "out of my league." And none of that has been helped by the time of year, other elements in my life that I'm frustrated by, and the general everything of the world. It's been really hard to even pick up my pen and doodle, even badly.

But a few weeks ago I watched the Drawclass hosted by Jacob Drawfee on how to practice when you're not good at keeping a schedule or routine. And not only is he a really good teacher, all of the points he made clicked in my head. The schedule worked. I'd been wanting to get better at interiors, and I have. And more importantly, picking up a pen and opening my sketchbook doesn't feel as bad anymore.

The past few days I've been watching Nathan Drawfee's Drawclass grab-bag, and this part stood out to me:

He was talking about how a lot of the times when you're starting out, or somewhere in the middle of the beginning of your art journey, all you wanna do is accurately draw a guy. And that's what I've been doing for lime 2 years. All I wanted to do was accurately draw my guys. Then I wanted to do more composition-y representations of my guys. Then I wanted them to have more mood. And now I want to move beyond doing all that and accurately drawing my guys and into telling stories. Maybe inspired by music or my guys or concepts or characters or shows or movies or from my own roster of OCs that have gone untouched for too long. I wanna do series and big illustrations and backgrounds and lighting and characters. I wanna look at more real life professional illustration work and pick it apart. I wanna read and get more art books. I still don't wanna monetize my hobby, but I feel like my art has just been plateauing for a really long time and it's finally hit a growth point. And Drawfee has made it fun to think about that. It's a lot less scary when its fun.

so after watching a couple ryan benjamin vids about inking i decided to give his style of inking a shot, and it's pretty good? i think i did some of it wrong though so my lines came out a bit chunky in places... just takes practice i guess?

yall really need to learn how to give an artist *good* feedback. Or really ANY creator, for that matter.

Instead of pointing out what you don't like, give the artist tips on how to improve on the weakest point of their drawing.

Instead of slandering the writer for plotholes and lore inconsistencies, give them gentle pointers and resources to help them improve their world building

Instead of sending dislike that you and you alone stand by, give whoever you're giving feedback to advice on how to get better.

Nothing will help the creator unless you provide good, step by step feedback on how they can improve. It will help everyone in the future.
