The Painting:
You sat on your bed, phone in hand still trying to gather the courage to text your boyfriend.  You had this pictured in your head for a while and it wouldn't leave you alone no matter how hard you tried!  You're certain Kokichi would go along with it as long as he wasn't busy, it's an interesting enough premise and oh boy does Kokichi like it interesting.  But you have such terrible anxiety that you can't bring yourself to ask such a thing, even though your heart knows he'd do it.  You decide to put your phone away and focus on experiment ideas.
You look around your Ultimate Lab and notice a certain robotic rabbit was missing.  You sigh and walk out of your lab in search of one of your first creations.  You tried to think back to other places you've seen him in the past, but couldn't think of a pattern.  You walk aimlessly in hopes of finding him, but to no avail.  You aren't afraid he'll hurt anyone as that's against his programming.  However, Oswald was created as a prankster with an attitude and good luck.  How can a robotic rabbit have good luck guaranteed?  Well, as the Ultimate Technomancer you can do lots of weird stuff no ordinary person could pull off.  This includes stuff like giving robots magical powers and making the lights change color without a special lightbulb.  You stumble upon Shuichi while walking around and ask him if he's seen Oswald.  Shuichi said that he hasn't seen Oswald, but he'll let you know.  You end up in the lunchroom and try to brainstorm where he could be.  Why haven't you put a tracking device in that damn rabbit at this point?!  You'd use the security cameras, but you're a bit scared to ask permission.  You shouldn't be, they'd probably allow you to use them, you're the ULTIMATE TECHNOMANCER for crying out loud!  You see Teruteru making a big cake nearby and you scamper out of the lunchroom out of pure fear.  You calm yourself down and continue walking, deciding out of annoyance to go down to the security camera office, or so you thought.  Due to all the walking around you did, you had gotten your directions mixed up and now you're lost…  You pull out your phone and bring up your custom map, quickly making a route for the security office.  You don't get too far unfortunately due to hearing the doors you just left, fling open.  You turn around to see Kokichi riding atop Oswald, both having some of Teruteru's cake on them.  "I should've figured you'd both be together…" you stated in monotone.
Kokichi sat on Oswald's shoulders eating some of Teruteru's cake with a smile on his face.  "Can I have some?" you asked.  "Sure!" Kokichi happily responded.  Oswald hops a bit closer and leans down a bit, Kokichi holding his plate out.  You grab the fork only for Kokichi to shove the plate of cake into you face.  "Giddy up horsey!  Hyah!" Kokichi yelled as you stood there in shock.  "I'm not your FUCKING steed!" Oswald yelled.  You flip Kokichi off as him and his accomplice hop away.  "Fuck it, that smooth bastard owes me!" you yell in anger, voice muffled by cake. You wait impatiently in an art studio you rented along with a professional portrait painter, waiting for Kokichi to show up.  You had texted him an hour ago to meet you here in his Supreme Leader get up minus the mask.  Where the hell was he?  "So you're one of those Ultimate kids, huh?" the painter asked.  "Yup, I'm the Ultimate Technomancer!  And you'll be painting my boyfriend today!  I sure hope he stays still for long enough…" you replied.  "What's a technomancer?" the painter questioned.  "A technomancer is like a necromancer but instead of puppeting the dead, I puppet anything powered by electricity including electricity itself!  I'm also very knowledgeable about electronics." you stated dramatically.  "And the Internet!" a voice piped in.
You turn around to see Kokichi in his Supreme Leader outfit, which was the same shit he wore to school, but had the lovely additions of a snazzy hat and a nice cape.  "I wish I controlled the Internet, I can't do that." you said.  "Hey, did you call me here for a nude painting?" Kokichi asked.  You blushed intensely, "N-no!".  Kokichi started crying, "WAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!  You don't love me anymore!!!  Was this relationship all a lie to you?!".  "Quit it with the crocodile tears, you drama queen…" you replied.  "And to think I was going to ask you to marry me tonight!  I had a romantic candlelight dinner planned!  There were gonna be ROSES!  ROSES!" Kokichi yelled while doing over-the-top poses.  "But what about the twins?!" you screamed, startled.  "You're pregnant?!  When were you going to tell me?!" Kokichi exclaimed.  "I-I didn't tell you because you're not the father!" you stammered.  "Who is the father then?!" Kokichi asked angrily.  "It's Kiibo!" you cried.  The painter looked very stressed to be there to witness all of this unfold.  “That two-timing bastard!” Kokichi yelled.  “That WHAT NOW?!” you yelled in shock.  “U-um excuse me!  Should I leave?  You two sound like you need a moment…” the painter interjected.  You both turn to the painter with the most innocent smiles possible.  “Not at all! What gave you that idea?” you asked.  The painter gulped in response and walked over to their easel, reluctant to paint but willing to for such a good pay.
Kokichi walks up to the throne you had put there and sits down.  “What do you want me to do, my true love?” Kokichi asked in a dramatic tone.  “Just sit there for a moment, I have to set up some stuff.” you responded.  You wave your hand and the lighting changes around Kokichi.  “Wow!” the painter exclaimed.  “If you think that’s cool, you’ll shit your pants after what I do next!” you bragged.  You pull out a Gameboy Advance SP and turn it on, the painter looking at you in confusion; Kokichi probably also looking at you in confusion, but you can’t tell.  A Pokeball pops out of the screen, initially pixelated but turning realistic within a matter of seconds.  You catch the Pokeball and throw it, a blast of white pixels coming out as the Pokeball opens.  The white pixels fade to reveal a Houndoom and you watch the pure amazement on the painter’s face.  Houndoom walks up to Kokichi and sits at his side, awaiting more orders.  “Okay, so Kokichi, Imma need you to give me a good evil grin. One that screams, ‘I’m the leader of an evil organization and I mean business.’!  Houndoom, give off a menacing glare.” you commanded.  Kokichi and Houndoom obeyed the orders quickly enough.  “Excellent!  Kokichi, Imma need you to put a hand on Houndoom’s head, like it’s your evil cat or something.” you ordered.  Kokichi did just as he was told.  You give everyone the thumbs up to start and you sit there for hours on end.  It was pure torture for you and Kokichi, but you made it through.  You return Houndoom to its game and feel very dizzy afterwards.   “I’ll hand you the painting after it finishes drying and I add some finishing touches.” the painter explained.  “Sounds fine to me.” you replied.
Kokichi walks up to you and puts an arm around you after the painter leaves.  “Let’s go to your dorm, I’m SOOOOO BORED!” Kokichi complained.  You both walk back to your dorm, with you feeling worse by the minute.  After a while of hearing Kokichi bitching about how bored he was, he started sounding weird.  Not wordwise but it sounded like you had cotton in your ears and every second it seemed like more cotton was being stuffed in.  You’re glad that you’ve made it into your dorm building, you’re even more glad when you manage to hear Kokichi say the word, “Elevator”.  Your walking became more of a stumble as you neared the elevator; Kokichi’s grip on you was tightening.  He uses his free hand to press the button to your floor while your vision starts to become wonky.  “Kokichi, I think I pushed myself too hard…” you warned.  You hear Kokichi say something, but can’t make it out.  “I can’t make out your words, I’m having a hard time hearing myself talk right now.” you admitted.  You felt scared, but felt safer with Kokichi nearby.  You feel the elevator stop and open, you watch Kokichi lift you up just as you’re about to fall on the ground.  He carries you in his arms out of the elevator, your vision distorting to the point where everything was spinning in all directions.  “My vision’s getting really spinny, Kokichi.” you told your boyfriend.
You feel Kokichi pick up speed and you see your dorm’s door shortly, the door color starting to change around the edges. Kokichi opens your door without taking you out of his arms and you both enter your dorm.  You suddenly feel nauseous as he carries you to your bed, he carefully lays you on your bed and leaves your room.  Your vision goes dark purple a moment after, but you’re somehow awake.  You faintly hear Kokichi talking and you try to get up, only to be too weak to get up.  You feel Kokichi prop you up and put a glass to your lips.  You start drinking what’s in the glass but gag after a moment of drinking it.  Orange juice, of course.  You take a moment and drink the entire glass along with a second he had with him.  Your vision returned shortly after that, but you still felt weak.  “Thanks a lot…” you uttered out.
Kokichi sits next to you, holding your hand and looking at you.  After 10 minutes your hearing clears up thankfully.  “I think my hearing’s back to normal now.” you said.  “Are you sure?” Kokichi asked.  “Yeah, I’m pretty sure.” you responded.  “You shouldn’t push yourself so hard y’know.” Kokichi stated.  “I’m sorry, I wanted it as authentic as possible.” you responded.  “You don’t need to strive for authenticity when a Houndoom is being painted, you almost fainted from the strain!” he scolded you.  “I know…  I should’ve practiced it for longer periods of time before having the painting done and none of this would’ve happened…” you admitted.  “The important thing is that you learned your lesson…  Now let’s cuddle a bit before going to sleep!” Kokichi said.  “Sounds like a great idea to me…” you replied.

Heyy if you mind could I make a request? :D
Could you write about the administrator and the O5 council reacting to the reader being immune to anomalous effects and being really strong.
like imagine they’re in a meeting and reader being a random MTF or researcher and then a Scp breaches and the reader just ragdolls it into the wall in front of them it would be really funny to see their reactions XD.Reader is gender neutral or female. And I don’t really care if it’s romantic or platonic.
anyways have a great night/day/morning <3
Alright i can do that!
(Fun fact! I actually wrote this already but tumblr fumbled and deleted it 💀 so i'm rewriting it yippee)
I'm gonna be writing this with my version of the admin, i don't have a design for him yet but you'll probably get how his personality is sorta through the writing lolol
The 05s will also be my own versions from my own au
Warning: Violence
Tumblr media
The 05 with a reader whos immune and super stronk
Admin
-Admin had decided to go undercover once again, it had been awhile since the immortal man walked through the halls of one of his many sites.
-he missed watching the SCPs and talking with new faces, all he had as company for the past few years were just calls from various other immortal friends he had gained. Such as Dr Bright.
-He walked down the hallways feeling naked due to his signature hat having to be discarded in his room, he didn't know why he felt the need to hide it..but he always felt someone would guess who he was by it.
-he had his long hair tied up in a ponytail, it bounced a bit as he walked down the hallways of containment site 25-B.
-he should've known something was gonna happen in the site that contained such a dangerous anomaly. As he seemed to glance over at you in the break room, picking his new 'target' to befriend and act 'normal' with. The lights went out.
-he cursed as he knew what was to happen next, the sickening red color appeared painting the room. You two stared at each other like deer caught in headlights, before you cringed hearing the sound of scraping metal and a heavy explosion following it.
-maniacal laughter seemed to follow short fron the explosion, Admin ran over to the door trying to cover it as he could hear the bullets from nearby MTF.
-Admin then realized, if 076-2 wasn't neutralized soon..you two faced the possibility of drowning. Sure Admin had drowned before but he didn't want to exactly lose his new 'soon to be best friend' so quickly.
-he quickly opened the door "c'mon if you wanna live!" You were snapped from your thoughts as you ran over to him. You both began to run down the hallway, your lab coat being discarded along with his.
-You turned your head to see Able, he had thrown a nearby MTF into the wall. The sound of the MTF yelping in surprise could be heard till a sickening crunch. Watching as the blade Abel held went right through the MTFs gut before being withdrawn
-He stared over at you two through a few strands of hair that was covering his eye. He backed away from the MTF before beginning his pursue onto you both.
-Admin cursed as he grabbed your wrist, left right left right. You two ran turning multiple corners all while you watched the immortal warrior grow closer. Till finally he jumped in front of you both, the floor shaking a bit from the force.
-Admin stumbled back as the warrior stared down at you two, he raised his blade ready to cut you both down. You didn't know what to do but..fight.
-you charged at Abel with your fist drawn back, your fist connected with his chest and the warrior had been sent backwards. His sword immediately dissolving away once it touched the ground.
-The warrior hit the wall behind him creating a dent in it, he groaned glaring at you "finally! A worthy opponent." Admin almost feeling as if his jaw was about to hit the floor, he looked at you slowly as you kept your hands up.
-he quickly backed away as he saw Abel climb his way out of the dent he created, he cracked his neck before a sword appeared almost as if it had come from thin air.
-Admin doesn't remember how long the fight had lasted, but he does remember you coming out as victor. He remembers the feeling of utter amazement as he saw you 'kill' Abel.
-He didn't even know how to tell the MTF what happened without you sounding anomalous, so he told them the truth. And he made sure to tell the 05 as well with his own secret message to them.
-You remain as a doctor though, the 05 don't do much to contain you. Possibly they're watching to see what else may be up with you. Wanting to see if you have any other anomalous ability.
-That's when he starts seeing you becoming immune to specific SCPs, one of the site directors for site-19 had decided to ship 035 to the current site you both were at.
-supposedly someone was possibly planning to steal the mask and this site was the second most secure place that the mask could reside in.
-As 035 sat in his lil containment cell, you and Admin had been sent to speak to it. Admin could feel the pull the anomaly gave, the need to wear the mask. He had to take breathers to make sure he wouldn't be so stupid as to put on the damn mask.
-but you didn't seem all to affected by him, his words, his manipulative ways. Nothing. Admin began to grow suspicious then. No one was that immune to him except Gears, but that was only cause Gears was emotionless.
-By the time Admin had left, he already was planning to speak to the 05 about you. He couldn't wait to tell them alllll about your lil powers..and how you could possibly be a cure to his immortality.
05-6
-Unlike Admin the council doesn't usually get into the sites affairs, they don't go undercover and prance around site to site.
-as 05-1 would say 'we have a *job*, and we can't just play dress up and pretend to be some new idiot researcher for funsies'
-but there were still some 05 that did actually go undercover, and today 05-6 decided to go undercover.
-'Agent cowboy' in his youth, and now he was simply known as Mikell Cowboy. He decided it best to not use his last name while walking about site-19.
-he was thankful during this time his younger sibling was currently overseeing things at site-63.
-Mikell had decided to go undercover not cause there was some chaos agent undercover ready to make the site blow, or because the 05 assassin had come back and was targeting him. Nope! He had a completely different reason: he wanted normalcy
-now many would probably call Mikell stupid for deciding to go to site-19 of all places to find normalcy. Site-19 was a dangerous place..but then again Mikell was used to danger.
-that's when he met you, a JR researcher who had accidentally bumped shoulders with him "oh sorry!" You quickly said "i didn't see ya through the papers" Mikell gave you a nod "it's fi-"
-darkness, Mikell could feel anger bubbling inside of him as the red alarm lights colored the entirety of the hallway. The alarms going off and the announcements turning on
-you looked at him scared and confused "hey uh you wouldn't know what's going on would ya?" Mikell nods "i do, there's a breach. You know where the nearest shelter is?" You nodded "i uh yeah, shit the pa-" Mikell quickly took your arm dragging you with him.
-your papers flew up into the air as he yanked you to follow him, rushing down the hall he muttered a "forget the papers"
-you two rushed down hallway to hallway passing by researchers and even a couple D-class. Mikell didn't give anyone a second glance as he only focused on finding you two safety.
-as Mikell rounded a corner he cursed seeing 049 standing down the hallway, the doctor turned to look at him "i sense the pestilence within you."
-Mikell instinctively went to grab his guns by his side..when he remembered he didn't have them. Doctors couldn't just walk around site with two revolvers on their side.
-he put an arm in front of you as if that would protect you from the approaching anomaly. You felt the need to fight, no way would you go down like this.
-You moved past Mikell reeling your arm back before sucker punching the plague doctor, the plague doctor was thrown back. His scalpel clinking to the ground and him not to far from it.
-he groaned as he tried to sit up, but he just laid back down in pain. You looked at Mikell who had a pretty surprised look "...that was hot." "What?" "What?"
(Whoaaa i updated this with two more 05s )
05-1
-05-1 never EVER leaves her site.. Except for today. Today she decided 'why not walk around site-19?' Of course everyone knew who she was. She was the only 05 that *could* show her face without much of a consequence.. She was immortal after all
-05-1 is an awful woman, viewing many of the researchers on site as nothing but disposable or 'play things' so when she saw you she immediately thought 'new plaything'
-for the past couple of days she made appearances in your office, of course your ass freaked out who wouldn't?
-she mainly spoke to you as if you two were life long friends, asking about the latest SCP you were working on as she explored your office. Or asking about your colleagues while she sat across from you, leg over one another.
-today was no different, she was in your office tracing her finger over the top of your files. Slightly scoffing at the dust "do those janitors not know proper cleaning?"
-just as you were about to respond the power went out before slowly a red color seeped in, the alarm system blaring off "The site is experiencing technical difficulties, site is on lock down please remain where you are"
-05-1 would roll her eyes "how lovely" just as the sarcastic words left her mouth the two of you could hear muffled screams of terror and.. Something else.
-researchers ran past your office in a panic and 05-1 almost somehow knew what it was, quickly she acted and drew the blinds down looking back at you "don't just stand there L/n"
-with that you helped her, just as you drew the last blind you heard it 096s screams as he ran past your office. You felt 05-1s hand on your shoulder in a weird attempt to comfort you.
-You didn't need it though and even though you were one strong son of a bitch you were NOT about to try and fist fight 096.
-The lockdown luckily didn't last long, the entire time being spent with 05-1 attempting to distract you. She may be possibly the worst of the 05s but she still has a tiny bit of a heart.
O5-2
-In a similar case to 05-1 lots of researchers knew 05-2, it was hard not to know anyone that filled the chair. Anyone that became 05-2 were usually related to 05-1, descendants usually from her and admin both.
-This 05-2 was old, not geezer old but old enough to be someones father (in fact he *was* someones father) he had only visited the site to make sure things were going alright. Especially since 076-2 or 'Abel' seemed to be breaking out a lot.
-You were the site director walking with him as you spoke "he broke out a week ago, luckily he only killed one person-" "luckily?" "I well- better than a month ago when he caused nine deaths total. The researchers estimate he won't wake up for another couple months"
-Just as the words left your mouth the alarms began to blare, 05-2 didn't even try to contain the laugh that escaped through his lips. How completely ironic
-Of course you made it your mission to get to a safe house and protect 05-2 (luckily this was all before the scp was transferred over to containment site 2b) your mission right now was to make sure 05-2 made it out of this alive.
-but as luck would have it just as you two turned the corner there stood the crazed immortal man himself, drenched in the blood of your colleagues.
-05-2 looked nonchalant as if he was immortal himself (he wasn't) and as I said before you made it your mission to protect the 05.
-You stepped in front of 05-2 ready to defend him, of course he and Abel pretty much thought the same thing. That you were as good as dead
-Surprisingly though just as Abel charged at you with one kick to his chest he flew back, now 05-2 was surprised mouth agape as he couldn't believe your ass just kicked Abel so hard that he created a fucking dent in the wall behind him.
-Abel got up this THIS he enjoyed, FINALLY someone fought him and didn't try to run away like a scared kid.
-You and Abels fight created enough of a distraction until the MTF showed up, and thank 343 they showed up when they did as you were growing exhausted.
-Abel funnily enough went back without much of a fight calling you a 'warrior' as he was led back to his cell.
-All 05-2 could do was stare at you, he never wanted to be on your bad side.
Hope you enjoy it! I'll add more 05s if you want me to lolol!

One Piece - Predicting Bounty Increases Post-Wano
Tumblr media
So, with Chapter 1049 potentially being the end of the climactic battle (or maybe not) it's safe to say that the Straw Hats and their allies have done a lot in Wano, certainly enough to warrant new bounties. So in this post I'm gonna predict what several characters' new bounties will be after Wano, including all of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Spoilers for all Wano up to Chapter 1049, I will be referencing these chapters in my reasoning, you have been warned
It is worth noting that this is how I think the World Government will respond, it is not an estimation of what I think their efforts are. In addition I will not be doing 'new' bounties: so Yamato - who the world doesn't know about since they've been in Wano all their life - Momo, and Carrot - who really should've gotten a bounty at Whole Cake Island for taking out a portion of Big Mom's Fleet - will not be included. I will also not be including bounties of characters who could potentially be dead, so no Drake or Izo either (Marco won't either because as an ex-Yonko commander his contribution was expected of his stature).
Non-Straw Hat Bounties
We'll start with the Non-Straw Hats, whose actions will have contributed to the Raid's outcome or acquired information that the WG would deem dangerous.
'Roar of the Sea' Scratchmen Apoo: 350 million -> 400 million Apoo sucks, but the World Government would indeed want to silence him on his intel about CP0's presence in Wano, and with him being an effective spy for Kaido, his bounty is due to increase to make sure he doesn't rap another day.
'Massacre Soldier' Killer: 200 million -> 450 million It may seem like a hefty increase, but Killer's efforts in defeating Hawkins - who had a higher bounty than him - and facing off with Kaido and Big Mom will give him a huge bolster, he's earned it as well. Personally I'd want to put him higher, but seeing as Sanji's bounty only went up to 330 from being revealed a Vinsmoke and leaving Yonko territory alive I do have to temper expectations.
Eustass 'Captain' Kid: 470 million -> 1.5 billion 'Surgeon of Death' Trafalgar D. Water Law: 500 million -> 1.5 billion I might be a little crazy here, but I feel like since both Law and Kid had to combine to defeat Big Mom, they will be given the same bounty amount. Defeating a Yonko is no easy feat either, if Luffy got 1.5 billion from beating 2 Yonko Commanders and leaving Yonko territory alive, I think Law and Kid would be worth just as much for fighting 2 Yonko at once and defeating one of them. It'll bruise both their egos though to be the same, as both will claim to have carried most of the fight, but it will bolster both captains' notoriety.
Other than that I don't think we'll learn of any significant bounty increases. Law and Kid's remaining crew will probably get increases by virtue of their Captains' increase but we won't see it. Caribou might get a bounty increase but it depends on how much his involvement is painted, he wasn't in Onigashima so the WG probably didn't know he was there.
Straw Hat Bounties
Okay...now we get to the meat of it. This is the difficult part at least. I'm gonna go in order of lowest current bounty to highest.
'Cotton Candy Lover' Chopper: 100 -> 500 It hurts me that out of the two ways it could go, I'll have to continue with the gag one. While Drake did view Chopper successfully overcome Queen's Ice Oni and transform into Monster Point, there's the possibility that he's dead or even exiled from the Navy, meaning his intel won't reach the WG. What could reach the WG is Chopper's new tiny 'Baby Gramps' form for a new picture (which could be a new title for him but knowing the WG they'll probably still see him as a 'pet' than a sentient being). He'll only get a small increase by virtue of the crew's increase. But the moment he gets seen transforming his bounty's gonna skyrocket...
'Cat Burglar' Nami: 66 million -> 130 million Nami's bounty was a tough one, because even though she defeated a 400 mil Ulti and stole a Yonko's Homie, the WG didn't see much of it, plus Ulti was very weakened. I'd like Nami to get a new title, since she's not as deft-handed as she was in the past, I've often thought she could be called 'Weather Witch' since Nami's character leans more to her climate-control rather than her pickpocketing. As a result I think her bounty will be doubled and rounded up a bit.
'Soul King' Brook: 83 million -> 142 million Sadly, Brook hasn't done much solo contribution to this raid since his and Franky's entrance. He's helped Robin evade CP0 which means he'll get an increase from being perturbed and probably looking a bit more into him, but it won't be as big multiplication-wise. Despite this I think he'd have more than Nami's given his combat skills, so I went for 142 million - 42 being an unlucky number in Japanese because it sounds like 'to die', ah, but he's already dead.
'Cyborg' Franky: 94 million -> 200 million Sasaki may also have a 400+ mil bounty, and Franky was also seen wiping out a Number and knocking Big Mom over, but I feel that the WG will still undermine Franky's threat level given how they also have an army of powerful cyborgs. Franky will get enough dues to match Usopp's Dressrosa bounty for his contributions, but it'd still be an undervaluation.
'Devil Child' Nico Robin: 130 million -> 150 million The World Government intentionally do Robin a disservice in bounty because if her bounty is too high it'd be harder to get people to come after her. Sadly this is my reasoning here, Robin deserves a massive bounty having beaten 470m Black Maria and being a Revolutionary, but CP0's only interaction with her resulted in her just running away, so she'd have one of the smaller increases. I picked 150 because that's the amount of Chrysanthemum (which are the petals used during her Devil Fruit powers) patterns in the symbol for the Emperor of Japan. I do at least hope they get rid of the 'child' bit of her title though, 'Devil Woman' or 'Demonio' would suit better.
'God' Usopp: 200 million -> 250 million Like Brook and Nami, Usopp's contribution would be deemed minor by extension of the WG, only having spotted him running most of the time. He'd get a small increase of 250 million, which is significant enough to overcome the combined bounties of Dorry and Broggy's 100 mil a piece, just in time for the Elbaf arc.
'Pirate Hunter' Zoro: 320 million -> 1 billion I did toil with this, because part of me wanted to make him match Luffy's current bounty, but I think he wouldn't have the same as Kid and Law's. So I stuck with a nice and clean 1 billion, one that he deserves from defeating King - who has the highest Yonko Commander bounty so far - and scarring Kaido. Following this, I do expect that his title will change to his desired 'King of Hell' title. Being worth a billion will be something Zoro would relish, except for one caveat...
'Black Leg' Sanji: 330 million -> 1 billion They will both hate it, but we will love it. Putting Sanji and Zoro level in bounty is probably the bounty increase I'm most certain of even if it's not 1 billion. Having defeated Queen who is also +1 billion, Sanji's antics pre-raid as O-Soba Mask may play into his bounty, especially if Drake does live to give his intel. Because of this, Sanji may end up with a new but unwanted title of 'Stealth Black', even though he has parted with the Raid Suit. His body modifications however still remain, so although he isn't Stealth Black, he won't be shaking off the Vinsmoke name for a while.
'Knight of the Sea' Jinbe: 438 million -> 523 million Our latest Straw Hat will get a bounty increase from having joined the crew, his victory over Who's Who will also make the WG worry rightfully that the cat man mentioned what led to his CP9 dismissal and thus the importance of the 'Gomu Gomu no Mi', for this reason he'll have a similar level of bounty, albeit lesser because of generic Fishman racism and because the WG aren't as threatened by him. This'll of course put the Monster Trio in a league of their own, but I chose 523 because that's the chapter his silhouette first appeared in.
'Straw Hat' Luffy: 1.5 billion -> 2 billion If Luffy does defeat Kaido, one could go crazy and expect him to reach Roger and Whitebeard level bounties, however Blackbeard sits on only a 2.24 billion bounty despite being a yonko for 2 years with WB's Devil Fruit and most of his territories. As a result, I've put Luffy in more 'Yonko region' because of how afraid they will be now that he's awakened. Akainu will hate it, but the WG will act to hope that as a Yonko tier they can pull up an army against him, or at the least turn the other Yonko on him, seeing as 'letting it play out' has failed tremendously. Being a proper Fifth Yonko (which will be a secondary title to him) will necessitate the bounty, but like Blackbeard longevity will only cause it to rise to BM and Kaido level.
So there you have it, those are my predictions at least. It may be subject to change depending on how the rest of the arc unfolds of course, but at this very moment this is how I can see it going.

Kurt Kelly x Fem!Bitch!Reader || Oneshot
Tumblr media
Title: Someone Gets Hurt
Plot: Some little wannabe steals away your boyfriend, Kurt, while also batting her big ass lashes and winning over your friends, too... until you've had enough. No one out bitches you.
Notes:
Obviously, this is inspired by Someone Gets Hurt from Mean Girls except with Regina (The reader) as the heroine.
Warnings: Overall bitchiness, possessiveness (You about Kurt), break ups (Make ups too though so its not too bad ^^), the ruining of another persons relationship (Random girl Lizzie and Kurt's), rapeiness (Ram), sexual references, underage drinking, overage drinking, just LOTS of debauchery over all, a smut bit near the end (Not full), etc.
Was I too proud with you? Was I too cold and forbidding? And you chose her over me Are you kidding?
Watching Kurt and Lizzie together this week has been torture. Terrible, burning, squeezing, not-at-all sexy torture.
Because Kurt, is yours.
He has always been yours. He was yours in kindergarten, he was yours in middle school, and he was yours all through highschool until this, unfortunate and butt fucking ugly, snag. Crossing your arms now and poisoning them with your eyes, you sit in the cafeteria... and think.
Just, think.
You don't gossip with your minions about all the bullshit going on in school, you don't discuss what you're going to do to the freshmen this year, no. Nothing. You're too busy... plotting.
There is no way in hell, that this pee-brained virgin bitch is going to steal your boyfriend, and not get paid back in turn. Its only fair- and you include interest, in your transactions like this.
One eye actually twitches, when Lizzie... the pee brained virgin bitch in question, gives Kurt a peck on the nose - oh so cute, but you don't even have to look at Kurt to see the disappointment flash in his eyes, - and hops off his lap when the bell rings. He has a free period now, you know because so do you and you usually spend it at the back of the football field together, but she has Chemistry, a thing you also know because hell- you just know everything. That's a basic fact. The whole school knows it and love that you never have to explain how you just fucking know shit.
But even being all knowing does not make you feel better, knowing that itty bitty roach-cunt has her claws embedded in your poor, weak-willed... ex boyfriends,... heart. Or his penis, more likely. Metaphorically speaking, obviously, because Lizzie's the 'Mary'est whore in the land of Westerberg High.
That doesn't really matter though. Either way, he's with her now and not you, and that just wont do.
Maggie, your right hand babe, gets up from your lunch table and leaves for her next class, too. And its only until she's out of sight, that you notice the piece of paper she left behind. Rolling your eyes, a growl of annoyance escapes you and you sigh- turning away from Kurt and Ram's table to see what the fuck it is. The reprieve is almost palpable, not looking at him anymore. It feels a little better- but not by much. And certainly not enough for you to forget what fuckery is going on.
Picking up the piece of paper in one perfectly manicured hand, you see that its an invitation. "Hmm... " Worrying the inside of your cheek, you think; This is interesting.
A Halloween party...
A gleeful smirk quirks slightly at the corners of your lips.
Kurt always did have a thing for Halloween.
~
And what you meant by 'Kurt always did have a thing for Halloween'- is 'Kurt always did have a boner for your Halloween costumes'. For the past several years, since the two of you blossomed with the help of puberty, you have used your assets as an advantage - because why else have them? - ; With the help of lace tights, push up bra's, winged eyeliner and red lipstick.
This year you've pulled together your favourite costume yet, which is fitting for the task at hand and the fact that its senior year- this may be your last chance to put these bottom dwelling highschool chuckleheads in their place.
I mean, you hope not but its basically a given.
Looking around the party as you walk in, you figure its just the same as any party Ram has thrown before. And his house is perfect for it, you'll give him that. The lights a turned down low enough that everyone looks a little hot, cooler's full of ice and alcohol are set up so you're never too far from a fix and thanks to his houses sound system the music is loud enough to make you think for a couple hours that you're in a place between reality and your dreams; A perfect set up for mistakes and one wild night.
But you aren't here to get drunk and kiss a loser, except for Kurt; You're here to take back the goddamn crown. Which getting Kurt back, will do. It'll humiliate Lizzie, and that's really all you want out of life right now.
Prowling through the crowd - which still knows to part for you, despite your current, slightly lower social standing, - in your knee high, shiny black leather boots, you look for someone to talk to. You know Maggie's here somewhere but that bitch is on her last life with you, after she said Lizzie's hair looked nice the other day. And you think some silent treatment will set her straight.
"Oh- Hi Ram." You find the host in the backyard, about to push an unsuspecting demoness into in a very sheer red blouse into the pool - which would doubtlessly make the blouse more of a red tint to her skin rather then any kind of coverage, which Ram well knows, - , and he double takes when he sees you. A sleazy, mischievous grin slops over his face at the sight, which makes you roll your eyes.
Deeply.
"Ohhh, heyyyy, Y/N!" He has to yell over the sound of the music and the other party-goers, not that you would mind if you didn't hear anything he said. He hasn't got a whole lot of substance, Ram, so you can basically assume that rolling your eyes is always the answer to anything he's saying. His eyes shift back, anxiously, to the girl he's currently got a hit out on, but you just raise your eyebrows sharply at him and he's at attention. "I didn't know you were gonna come! You know, with the state of things... "
Oh, he's so obnoxious. And dumb! So, so dumb. He doesn't know the half of your shit. Yet he still runs his mouth... Rolling your eyes once again, you flip some hair behind your head. "Oh don't worry your pretty little head about that, Ram." Eyes flickering around the party some more, searching for your own target, you rest your hands on your hips that are tightly bound, in various layers of violet georgette cloth. The witches hat on your head is pinned down, so theirs no chance of it flying off. You have a train of thinner fabric hanging down the back of your short-short skirt, and your tight tube top reveals exactly the shapes you require it to. "I'll be perfectly fine- oh, have you seen Kurt anywhere?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhh I think I saw him and Liz against a wall earlier- but by the looks of Liz, I doubt they're in a situation like that anymore." He chuckles, dumbly. The stupid boy has a slur in his voice that you hadn't noticed before but probably should've known would be there. But you're sure focusing in on him now, jealousy burning in your eyes at his description. What does that mean??
"What?"
A geek walks by, toting a bottle in his hands that Ram snatches for himself. As the kid continues by, faster now due to the angry look in Ram's eyes and the animalistic growl that slips from the footballers lips, you continue to glare bullets at Ram. He takes a messy swig of his beer before continuing. "Just sayin', Y/N. Your friend's a prude. Won' even let Kurt get to second base with 'er or anything. So I'd say Kurt's, probably, uhhh... by the pool table, now." He shrugs big round shoulders then, as relief and mirth wash over you. So he didn't mean they'd have moved their dirty little adventure to somewhere they could really get down, or anything. He means quite the opposite.
A smirk graces your red painted lips.
"Well- enjoy your party." You shrug, not really caring as his eyes shine... turning back to the demon girl who's just laughing with her friends; He sure will. Eyes narrowing, you mutter a bitter "Dick." under your breath, as a final bid to Ram.
Turning on your heel, you head back into the house. You've been here plenty of times with Kurt and know exactly where the pool table is (And how uncomfortable it is to be bent over) and sure enough- there he is.
Your boyfriend.
Or, soon-to-be, once-again boyfriend.
He's standing back with a stick, waiting for his turn as he laughs with some over football boneheads. Lizzie isn't here, but you suppose she could have gone to get a drink or talk to one her - your, - friends, but where she is actually doesn't concern your in this moment. All you can do right now, is stand and stare.
God, he's hot.
You miss him; You really do. And, admittedly- not just because he can fuck you like no one else.
But your moment passes, and you gather your wits. Ready.
You're hot, you're smart, and you're ruthless. You can do this.
Saddling up beside Kurt, a genuine smile slips across your face as you look up at him; Running a hand back through your hair. "Hey, Kurt." Slightly widening your eyes, you raise a brow as he turns to look down at you. "What's up?"
Like- its been a while. What have I missed?
Immediate 'Oooooh's and 'Oh no the ex- Kurt watch out!'s erupt from his meathead athlete friends, but what you care about is how Kurt struggles for a moment to tear his eyes away from yours, like the eyeliner you perfected and the colour and the just- you, has hypnotised him. He flashes his friends a wicked grin, waiving them off as he turns to put his body between you, and the group. It puts you so close together- and you sure don't step back any.
Then his eyes flicker down to the rest of you- and he really has a problem looking away. "Oh, uh, hey Y/N. N-nothing much. Uh... you look... "
A gentle chuckle flutters out of you, resting a hand on your right hip. "What? Black cat caught your tongue?"
Jesus- even the mention of that particular muscle reference to him does something to you. And being this close to him again, and seeing his reaction to your outfit... its all just so right. The way things should be.
He opens his mouth to say something else, but immediately closes it again on remembering something. A seriously awkward hm sound escapes him which you don't quite get yet, but you decide that you don't need to.
"So... " You start, getting rid of the tough bravado suddenly... letting awkwardness seep into your tone; Your appearance. On purpose. Eyes downcast, you let your arms slide down to your sides again, lacing your fingers together in front of you for a moment, pretending you're at a loss for words. "Um... maybe this is... weird... "
"What?" A big hand ghosts over your hip- you can just feel his skin graze against you.
You look up to catch his gaze again suddenly, lips and eyebrows scrunching after a moment, unsurely. "Uh, well... " Chewing innocently on your bottom lip, you hold your arms behind your back; not-at-all meaning to push out your chest more. No, not at all... "Me coming up to talk to you... since the break up... "
A hiss escapes him, as he suddenly, seemingly, like just seeing you had him returning to old habits, remembers that fact himself and takes a step back from you. Your brows knit together, up at him- perfectly pitiful.
"Oh man- yeah. Maybe. Fuck!" He runs a hand up through his hair, looking convincingly tortured.
Already!
You could rejoice.
Oh, Kurt... we've only just started.
Sighing, you look away again. "Look, I'm sorry. I just... well, Kurt, I've missed you!"
Suddenly his eyes, still and focused, turn more sternly down on you and your insides squirm at it. Like muscle memory, your body screams for you to back up; Get on your knees, bat your lashes. Ask what's wrong, Daddy?
His eyes narrow, and you resist the temptation to smirk. "Oh- no. No, Y/N. I know what you're doing, okay? I'm not dumb! This is all just too... too... " The fact that he cant even really speak, even as he's trying to be all tough and put up walls between you two, really gives you confidence. You must still really have an effect on him- as you should. Of course you do. One week with a little lily livered slut bag does not erase an entire lifetime between two people. Kurts lips curl into a scowl. "You're not like this." He states, and you raise your brows. Oh? "You're manipulating me, aren't you? Come on, Y/N!"
His tone is pleading. He's begging, you.
Damn, he must really want Miss Lizzie's little ass.
After a moment, you shrug. "Okay, whatever, you got me." Shedding the innocent act, you lean back on the pool table as the boys continue to play; Laying yourself out for him. "Does that mean I was lying? No, I really do miss you."
He scoffs. "Yeah, right." Rolling his own eyes, he focuses his gaze off somewhere else in the party- rather then on you. "All you care about is your reign of terror."
Oh... he knows that's not true.
But still, if he's going to play that way- "Yeah, sure- and all you care about is pussy." Shrugging, you drum your fingers bordly against the edge of the table on either side of you. "I guess we're a pair."
"Fuck, Y/N... you know you're... y-you're... Damn, that I love you. You fucking know that." He hisses, getting mad. And you inwardly smirk.
There it is...
Tightening your grip now, you look up at him to see he's once again looking at you. And for a moment, amongst all the madness that party's are- it feels like its just you two. "And you know... I love you."
Pushing off the pool table, you stalk towards him and trace your hands up his chest; Locking your arms around his neck lazily, and resting your chest against his. And you can see it. You can see, the struggle inside him about whether to just give into you- and your tits and your lips and your hips, and- just, you! Or to stay away. Because you're poison; Even you're well aware of that fact.
You're like a boa constrictor. You get yourself wrapped around your victim and you squeeze, and squeeze, and squeeze... until you have them just how you want them. Moulded into a shape that works well, for you.
But he's a lion. Imposing, and selfish, and self serving. And too big for you to ruin.
Its like you said; You're a pair.
And you cannot give him up.
"Kurt... come on." Leaning up, and talking in a quiet, just-for-him voice now, your lips brush against his and he lets out a shuddering breath. "We belong together, don't we? Its us- forever. You've known it since second grade. Sure, it took me a few more years to realise it too, but we're here now." Sincerity bleeds into your tone; Something you can't help when he looks like he wants to kiss you so badly, like that. "It can't be you and her." It cant. Tilting your head to the side, teasingly, you smirk mischievously; Just for him. "Is she going to fuck you like I do?"
"Shit... " Kurt mutters, eyes stuck on your lips. His hands find your waist, gathering you up against him roughly like he always does when he just wants you. Animalistically, wherever you are- whoever sees be fucking damned.
But he still isn't taking you. And that's a problem.
Brushing a thumb over his bottom lip, you turn your head like your making out to kiss him- but don't. Furrowing your eyebrows, you look pleading at him for an answer. "Was it all a lie, then? With us? Were we?- "
And that does it- he's had enough- he's at boiling point- Lips smash into yours, crossing the centimetre of space between them and he doesn't fuss around at all, to warm up. Your tongues connect almost instantly, and in 0.2 seconds, you two are that moaning, making out mess couple that every party has.
Through your lust filled haze, you can just about feel victorious.
A few moments after that your back hits the closest wall, and your legs wrap around his waist as he holds you up- you two know the drill by now. Kurt's grinding his raging hard on deliciously through his jeans into your bare cunt- moaning and muttering something into your cheek as he sloppily makes his way down to your breasts about you being such a slut.
You REALLY don't mind.
Eyes half lidded, you catch sight of Lizzie in the crowd behind Kurt. The crowd that, apart from her, doesn't care at all what the two of you are doing.
You smirk absolutely evilly towards her, before mouthing 'mine'.

♦♥ Paint them red ♠♣
[Yandere!Riddle Rosehearts x reader] [pr 1] [pr 2]
Tumblr media
♦♥♠♣
(y/n) was only 9 when she first found her hidden place through the forest . An area covered by tallest of trees and darkest of shadows .
Quiet
(y/n) found herself gazing upon the large table covered with a dirty white table cloth .Two cracked teapots on two sides of it , several small teacups in front of seven wooden chairs set all around .
" W-wow"
As the cold wind started to Howl , she slowly walked closer to be the uninvited guest to this party , admiring the pace and forest's small surprise for her.
She bowed down as a proper apology to the imaginary guests .
" Sorry for being late !"
Taking a seat , she found a hat with multiple bruises and different colorful fabrics on it , having it's sunlight colors turned black and gray as the result of being left out there for days ; dare to say years .
"Mad hatter..!"
She turned around to catch each and every easter egg , waiting there for her to discover them .
A broken chest clock . (Y/n) carefully picked it up , realizing it's cold and wet body while smelling its ringed copper .
"My my , March heir is late again? "
(y/n) giggled as she tries to sound as legit as possible
"Well he'd better be early , or Queen of hearts would be off with his he-"
(y/n) Froze as she heared bushes shaking . She didn't realize how she dropped the chest clock until she sound of broken glass shook her .
'Who was there?'
"Wh...who is there...?"
no anwser came
(y/n) said , trying her best to hide her fear from exploding and voice from shaking . Hearing the bushes shaking wasn't supposed to be any big deal , but things are different when you're all alone into the woods .
" Hello...?"
"C...come out !"
She dared to step forward trying to get a better sight of whatever was going on behind the bushes . Seeing the! shaking again she let out a silent scream .
Once again , silence poured the atmosphere .
(y/n) slowly lowered herself , picking up a rock
"Last chance ; come out ! Or you'll regret it !!"
This was taking too long...
"Okay ! Take it !!"
She angrily threw it to the bushes , just to make making something or better to say , someone, smirk playfully :
" You're really terrible at targeting , aren't you ?"
Hearing the voice , (y/n) first froze . Then want mad again :
" AND YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AT MAKING SMALL TALK !" , she shouted angrily , face as red as a tomato now .
"JUST A COWARD WOULD DARE TO STALK ON A YOUNG LADY LIKE THIS !!"
"Me ? stalking ? " , the childish voice continued to tease her : "Then what would you say about entering one's private place uninvitedly . You're lucky it's not with the Queen of hearts ; she would've been off with your head by the time you realized..," the boy giggled sarcastically .
(Y/n) got even redder but now , there was a bit of shame as well . This place ? One's private area ? No way .
She couldn't imagine once in a hundred times that such a mess might actually be owned by someone . At least it could've been kept...cleaner .
" If I were you , I would've considered at least wiping off the dust once in a month ! Also , if you really "own" this messed up tea party , then stop sneaking LIKE A RAT and show yourself !" , it might've been too much to call someone mad at you for stepping into their property 'rat' , but that was no big deal since they were just children .
For the third time , silence granted the atmosphere
"If you don't , then I'll come there myse-"
She was cut off as the red haired kid came out of the shadows , giving her an uninterested look .
" First , I wasn't sneaking ; I was ' watching ' . You've been doing the same for your first 10 minutes here. Also , this isn't a simple tea party , this is a non- birthday party . Tea parties don't have many deserts served and won't usually have more than 6 guests . That's the difference "
(y/n) went speechless , she meant to kick the bastard who's been scaring her and instead , she was given a presentation about differences between tea parties and non-birthday paries . 'Whoever this guy is , he surely has a thing for non-birthday parties' , she thought . Taking her time to analyse the boy more carefully , she realized that he was actually... cute . Short messy red hair with a weird hair cut that shaped a heart upon his head , shiny silver eyes that kinda matched the dirty color of that dirty tablecloth , tidy clothes that proved that he did come from a high class family indeed ...
'Such an ironic attitude is a total contrast to this cute appearance'
"What's your name ? "
"Ah...what?",she was suddenly pulled out of her day dreaming and for a second , didn't get what she was asked.
"Your name , I said," Riddle replied .
"I'm..."
She felt awkward taking for too long to anwser such a childish question so decided to take advantage of it
"Don't you know the appropriate way to ask for a lady's name ? " , she tried to sound as mature as possible
"If it's a "lady" who has stepped into my property , I think this way's appropriate enough, "
He got (y/n) in that point so there was no need to be offended
"It's....(y/n)," she mumbled slowly , giving him a look as an expect of his name .
He smiled at your name and stepped closer to you: " I'm Riddle , pleasure to meet you ,(y/n) "
He patiently brought you his hand to shake it .
" Pleasure to meet you to , Riddle "
The ironic atmosphere now seemed to be gone , even the forest didn't feel as dark and cold as a few seconds ago .
" Well well , (y/n) . I'm not gonna be off with your head but I'm not gonna let you pass like nothing has happened either ," he said holding a smirk .
His was still teasing her , but she were getting used to his cringy attitude . 'Perhaps he isn't that bad after all , ' she thought .
"And now ? What are "you" going to do to me ? Trial me in a court or push me into a rabbit hole ?" you asked with a playful tone , not minding to tease him back a little bit .
Riddle's smile disappeared , making him break eye contact with you . This wasn't the anwser he was expecting .
He took a quick look around before having his eye caught on something .
A small grin appeared upon his lips : " Neither , I've got a better idea,"
"Huh?" she asked , raising an eyebrow
'God , this boy is taking a joke seriously ,maybe I should've explained better...'
"Paint them red , all of them ," he said pointing to rose bushes surrounding them .
"Paint what....?" , she asked , still unsure if it was another joke .
"This area's surrounded by white roses . Queen of hearts would've been really disappointed if she were here , wouldn't she? She probably would've wanted them all...red "
(y/n) Couldn't really get if he was kidding or not but she found not the smallest of sense of humor into his solid tune .
She sighed , asking : " Okay , how should I be coloring them , then ? "
"Use those," Riddle ordered , pointing to back of you .
You returned to see a paint can with a paint brush on it . It took her a few minutes to stop watching since it seemed pretty odd to her. 'They weren't there before...' she thought.
"If I lose my temper , you lose head girl . So be fast." Riddle warned her ; not that (y/n) was taking him seriously though...not yet
(y/n) bowed down to pick the brush and paint can . She trembled a bit when her hand firstly touched thr can's unexpectedly cold fuselage. She pulled it up , trying to open it
" why doesn't it open ?" she mumbled while struggling with the can , trying to open it . 'Just how hard has this thing been sealed ?!' she held it between her thigh dragging it's door with all her power left in her fist .
" Ouch-! "
She managed to catch the can before having all the color spilled , that was close . She sat once again at the dirty , wet ground ; staring at the half empty , opened can . She then realised red color on her finger .
"You had your finger cut by just opening a can? " , Riddle questioned .
'How long has he been standing there ?' she thought , realizing how close he was to her now .
You rose your head to find Riddle staring at you , arms crossed and eyes a little bit widened .
"Here , take my hand," he said offering you his hand . She held his hand , expecting him to pull it and helo her stand up , but he did nothing but to hold her hand , making have to raise using her only one hand . She relied her hand on the earth , feeling the wet soil and small rocks within her fingers. With one push , she stood up , slightly pulling her hand from Riddle's , but he didn't let go . He wasn't looking into her face , yet he was staring at her finger , which was covered in dirt and small sight of blood .
"Can you , let go of my hand?" (y/n) asked uncomfortably , she didn't really enjoy the way he was starting at her finger.
Riddle silently rose his head and locked eyes with her : " Are you gonna waste that ?"
"Waste what...?"
" Your blood ,"
(y/n) stood blank at the anwser , more from how calm and serious it was said . She uncomfortably tried to free her hand from his fist : " What do you mean by wasting my-"
She didn't get to continue as Riddle pulled her hand with him , almost making her fall . He brings himself closer to the rose bushes , pulling (y/n) with him .
"Hey ! what are you-," she protested ; not that Riddle was actually listening.
Riddle pulls her closer to the white bushes , letting go of her hand and holding her finger instead .
"Right there..." he lowly whispered , holding her finger with one hand while putting the other on her waist , slightly making (y/n) bow down , her face too close to touch the thorns.
He gently brings her finger closer to a rose , softly putting it on a petal as if your finger was kissing it . He slowly moves her finger to spread the color , turning the lifeless white to a deep , glossy red . (Y/n) could feel his warm breathes upon her neck , along with the sound of his heart beating at her back :
All so calm and gentle , followed by an organized rhythm coming one after one , never in a hurry....
He continued to paint the roses with your blood ; until your finger gets too dry to be used . He carefully pulls her finger back , makimg sure that it won't be touched by any thorns , then pulling back all her body from the roses .
Riddle suddenly let go of her hand a body , making (y/n) lose balance for a second .
"Fine then , get to your work . They aren't gonna be colored on their own," he mumbled , clearing his throat . (y/n) sighed again . The gentle and calm painter holding her tightly before was now gone . The strict ruler of forest was back . But why did he have to turn away ?As he was turning his head from her , was that , blush she saw upon his pale cheeks ?
"Get to work . We haven't got all day " he ordered .
Well at least , this Riddle made more sense than the one which...which was there a few minutes ago or whatever-
Quickly , (y/n) picked up the brush and can , not wanting Riddle to be mad at her again.
If she were trying to be honest , she must have admitted that it wasn't too bad being ordered around by the redhead . He seemed to have his own childish trends along with his cold, strict personality . Also , she did agree that she found him cute .
It was not only because of his naturally rare hair color together with his chubby cheeks and silver eyes , but she was also attracted to his ,well, dramatical side . She could still feel his slender fingers on her waist ; so soft and gentle , yet strong . (Y/n) wasn't sure why , but she felt attached to those very few seconds . As a child , she might've considered those "moments" as part of her romantic fantasies , until the day she finds her own prince charming holding her close and gentle ; showing her a true happy ending and making her finally believe in fairy tales ; to have a happy ending .
Ah but how wrong she was...
Both about those seductive minutes and fairy tales
♦♦♦♦
"Enough"
(y/n) was unexpectedly stopped . 'What's the matter? There are still half of the bushes left ,' she thoughtv. What was wrong ? Wasn't he satisfied with the color or hadn't she colored them properly ? Could that be her wasting too much color on each rose ? She didn't know-
Hundreds of thoughts scaped her mind in a matter of seconds as she tried to find out what might've dissatisfied Riddle : " Um , anything wrong ?"
"Hm , should it be ?" he replied . A small grin started to appear on his lips as he got closer to rose bushes , checking their each and every detail from petals to leaves. "Well I can't deny it , I'm impressed ," he said , cutting a flower from its bush : " The color's solid and well spreaded , neither too tender nor too thick , it's just like a glacier of ice covering the petals , " He steps toward you , not taking his eyes off the flower for even a second . He brushes his finger upon the petals , careful not to ruin or harm them : " Eventhough it's colored , I can still feel it's softness under my fingers . Most of the flowers turn rough and scaly with color on them..."
He continues to explore each and every detail left on the flower , making (y/n) more and more attached . She could even say that this made her admire Riddle as he was , such a patient and accuracy wasn't something you'd get to see everyday , he did surely have an eye for detail . Each and every reply from him seemed like a million to her , making her want more of it . Before she could've realized , Riddle was now really close to her . With now their breathes meeting , it was just a few inches away . (y/n) moved her eyes from the ground to the rose and then , from the rose to Riddle's eyes . Suddenly she feels butterflies in his stomach , making her gulp and hold her breathe .
"Nice job done , (y/n)"
(y/n) could feel blood rushing to her cheeks again time but it was greater this time , making her face sweat a bit .
Riddle didn't move an eyebrow , he simply kept watching ; again . (y/n) Found his gaze a bit uncomfortable , deciding to bring on a subject to wreck this unsettling silence : " Shall I paint these last ones as well?" she said , pointing to the roses behind your back with your paintbrush ; still wet in red .
"Indeed , " Riddle nodded .
"But not today"
Once again , he turns to بوته ها , slowly moving his hand above the roses as he walked , giving his movement a soft , yet organized , rhythm .
"It's starting to get dark already , it would be such a pitty if you lost your way through the woods , wouldn't it ?"
His words made (y/n) recognize how fast time had passed : She'd got there a while after the sunrise and now it was... What time was it ? 6 ? 7 ? She couldn't tell .
She looked up to the grayish sky ; now all covered in dark clouds . She couldn't quite keep her eyes open as wind started to blew , getting soil and dust into her eyes and making all trees and bushes shake heavily . She could hear crows cawing as they all flew away , filling the sky with portraits of wandering shadows .
Riddle came to you , not being the least affected by the unsettling atmosphere :
"30 days "
You thought that you must have misheard him through that thunder of sounds , but there was no mistake . He was speaking loud and clear
"You'll be returning herr in 30 days , one month . I'd be waiting here . Don't be late , miss (y/n) ,"
(y/n) didn't know how to reply , so wasn't she going to paint the rest till then ? Was he trying to tease her even more by making this game last for another month or... she was being invited to an actual tea party ?
(y/n) didn't get to anwser as a flash of lightning brightened the sky , making her let out a silent scream . She just quickly shook her head as an okay and started to run out of the place. At the moment , (y/n) didn't get why she agreed to such a nonsense. But soon it came clear that it wasn't a request ;
it was an order.
And all she could do was showing her obedience toward the redhead , even if it didn't make any sense.
As she was panting heavily trying to find her way within endless trees and wild winds , her minb was running toward the silver eyed boy . His words , his gaze , his eyes , he surely was much of a riddle after all... a complicated one of course .
But...
There was something about him that busied her mind :
~"You'll be returning to me in 30 days , one month . I'd be waiting here for you to come . Don't be late for the non-birthday party , miss (y/n)"~
His voice echoed through her head , making her smile . She couldn't deny being hyped for the next time they met and getting to know this new friend of her better . There were hundreds of questions popping in her mind already , giving her a sense of curiosity and excitement .
♥♥♥♥
Days flew away and before she could've imagined , (y/n) was standing again within the treeless area , but not quite the same as the last time :
(y/n) Could feel the smell of steamed tea combined with softness of sweet vanilla , then having it even better with a mild scent of fresh flowers through the air .
Table looked... different now . Broken teapots were replaced with classic , florid ones and previously dirty , gray tablecloth was white and tiddy . Empty plates and dishes were filled with colorful shortcakes , sandwiches , marshmallows and other eye-catching desserts .
She couldn't help but to hold tip of her dress bowing down in respect of her host's hospitality , who has been watching her for minutes now .
" 2 minutes late , any excuses ?" , Riddle said coming out of the shadows, holding a clock in his hand .
"Almost lost my way though the woods , that's why ," (y/n) said . Trying to seem as polite as possible ; in contrast to her last time .
Riddle sighed , definitely not even a bit satisfied with the anwser . But he wasn't really fascinated either since it was (y/n) they were talking about .
"Anyways , let's not delay the party anymore . May I ? " , he said , genty holding his hand to her with a soft smile . ' He can really be much of a gentleman sometimes ' , she thought . Riddle patiently leads her to the other side of table , pulling the chair for hair to sit . " What a gentleman ," (y/n) smirked , taking her seat . Riddle sat at the other side of table , locking eyes with her . " And now , let the non-birthday party begin ! Happy non-birthday to you (y/n) ! " Riddle says cheerfully , rising his tea cup . (y/n) giggled softly , taking her own tea cup , this was going to be long day...
" Happy non-birthday to you too , Riddle !"
♪♪♪♪
"Enough for today "
'Again..?', (y/n) thought . She stood up to see the amount of roses done with coloring : a quarter of them were still left... she'd just painted half of what was left from the other time . "Um...I can finish them toda-"
"No," Riddle cut her off : "It's already pretty late . I don't want you getting lost ."
"It's not that la-" she recognized how late it really was by looking at the sky . How did it pass so fast ? Perhaps it was because of how much they talked while having a... non-birthday party. She couldn't feel time passing at all .
" So...when should I be back for...the rest of them ?"
Riddle smiled at your question , more because of seeing you willing for a next time .
"30 days , one month . Don't be late..."
(y/n) smiled slowly taking her way to the woods . Just before getting to far from Riddle to see , she turned back gently bowing down : " Thanks for the tea , Riddle "
Riddle just shook a head as a you're welcome , but that was enough for (y/n) . She'd never expected him to be this hospitable with her , and that was already more than enough for her .
On her way back , something was stock in her mind again : Was she really going to finish the roses next time or would it end up with one eighth of them left ? Or was the redhead afraid of not seeing her again if this little game of him didn't continue ? Come to think of it , they all seemed cute to young , naive (y/n) , cheerful about her new friend.
But there were other consequences as well she didn't notice at the time
The new roses growing after their monthly duration was just one of them...

Porcelain - Chapter 2
Hi everyone - 2nd chapter here. I hope you all enjoy!
Summary:  The year is 1960. Lily Evans is sixteen years old; trapped, bored and frustrated. Remus Lupin is also sixteen; bullied, unhappy and scared. They are about to meet two boys who will help to change all of that.

"He kissed me."
"He what?" Lily hissed, trying unsuccessfully to quell the rising panic in her. "Outside?"
Remus looked up and nodded ruefully. "It was at the side of the shop, in the shade but…"
"Did anyone see?" Lily interrupted, her mind flying through all of the ways in which Remus could deny this ever happened.
"I don't know," he responded and finally the worried, panicking half of Remus won the battle with his expression. "I pushed him off…I didn't know what to do so I came straight here."
"Okay," she said, her thoughts everywhere, trying to think of a plan. "Okay. If it was at the side of the shop after closing time, it's probably unlikely that anyone saw," she thought out loud, working the issue through. "Everyone is usually in their homes by then. So, it might be fine. If anyone did see, you'll just have to deny it. Tell them they didn't see what they thought they did."
Remus nodded, listening to her words carefully although she could see the panic hit him afresh every time she mentioned a possible onlooker.
"There's only going to be one problem," she continued carefully, knowing the problem in her gut as soon as Remus told her: this Sirius didn't seem like the kind to go away, "if he…"
"…tries to do it again," Remus filled in, running his hand through his hair. "I know."
Lily watched Remus consider this possibility for a moment and saw the disappointment and regret flicker across his face. Eventually, he saw her watching him.
"It's ridiculous, I know," he said, eyes pained, "impossible. But for a minute…I forgot where I was. I know it can never happen again but I should've…appreciated it more while it happened."
There was nothing Lily could say to that. Her best friend, who only a matter of weeks ago she had nearly confessed her feelings to, was now telling her about his first kiss with a boy that was dangerous and obviously reckless. Later, when she allowed herself to think about it, it would sting her heart, but right now, she was more concerned with making sure Remus was safe.
"I'll speak to him," he continued when Lily was quiet. "I'll tell him he has to leave me alone."
"I can do it," Lily offered, hoping that if it were her, the message would actually get delivered. "It'll be easier for me, Remus. I'll be able to tell him directly, scare him away."
"You're sure? I know I could do it but if we were seen together a second time…"
"I can do it," she assured him, "where are they?"
------------------------------------------------------------
Remus informed her that Sirius and James were staying in the only hotel in town. The imaginatively named 'Belmont Hotel'. She decided to pay them a visit the next morning before school, if only because she couldn't guarantee that Sirius wouldn't have made his way all over town by the afternoon.
When she woke up the next day, she dressed slowly and thoughtfully, trying to moderate what she might say in her head, thinking through all the possible options of how to behave diplomatically despite Sirius's personality.
However, all of her careful planning was immediately pushed out of her head the moment she encountered Petunia. Petunia was always grouchy at breakfast and missed no opportunity to take her sourness out on Lily. So, Lily ate her breakfast and listened to Petunia groan on about how that was really her skirt and it looked better on her anyways, Vernon had said so, and it wasn't like any boy ever complimented Lily, apart from the town loser, of course.
By the time Lily made her way to the Belmont Hotel, she was spitting acid.
"Hi Jenny," she greeted the owner and manager of the hotel.
"Lily!" Jenny responded happily, smiling widely as she took in Lily and her school bag. "What has you here before school?"
"Do you have some new customers here?" Lily asked as innocently as she could. "Around my age, boys, one has long hair," she continued when Jenny looked puzzled. "Arrived on motorcycles."
"Oh, Sirius and James you mean," Jenny said, now seeming to understand and obviously having developed some sort of acquaintance with the two, which annoyed Lily even more, "I wouldn't call them customers," she laughed, "more like temporary handy-men. They can't pay for a room so I said they could sleep in the shed out back if they fixed a few things for me. You need 'em?"
"Yes," she said, thinking it was probably good luck that they were outside in a shed where no one would be able to hear Lily yell, "one of them left a book at the soda shop yesterday and I've come to return it."
"Of course," Jenny smiled, "that's so like you, Lily. Very thoughtful. You can go around the side of the hotel – you'll find them there."
Thanking Jenny, Lily made her way around the side of the hotel, palms now sweating with nerves. The first sight that greeted her was James, outside of the shed, covered in dirt and oil as he fiddled with one of the bikes.
She briefly considered trying to tip toe around him so as to get to her real target without having to engage in some inane discussion but as he was positioned just outside the door, that didn't seem too realistic, so she kept walking. Eventually, the soft padding of her shoes on the grass alerted him to her presence.
"Is he inside?" Lily queried abruptly, eyes jerking towards the shed just behind him, as his face registered her arrival with a smart grin. Allowing him to talk as little as possible was clearly the only way through this obstacle.
"And here I was thinking that you'd come to see me," James rebutted sharply, still sporting the same grin that drove Lily spare.
"Is he inside?" She pressed, practically spitting every word out.
"What is it with you and hats?" He asked, staring at the top of her head which was adorned with a soft pink cap that morning. James stood straight and started to brush down his forearms and fingers with a rag that was as dirty as he was.
"I'd think the better question might be 'what is it with you and my hats?'" Lily replied as airily as she could, hoping that whatever little control she possessed could stop the blush she knew he was hoping to see.
Now not bothering to hide a full blown smile, James sauntered towards her slowly, "Oh, I already know what the answer to that one is," he said lowly, his eyes never leaving hers.
Rolling her eyes, mainly due to the desperate need to look away from him, Lily crossed her arms and strode around him towards the shed door. Her hand shaking a little with determination, she grasped the handle and threw the door forwards.
Sunlight illuminated the majority of the dank and dingy shed, revealing to Lily the sight of Sirius, lying on a grubby looking bed, a cigarette dangling in between his teeth.
"I think you're in trouble, Padfoot," James called merrily from behind her, before Lily had the chance to speak.
Not looking in the least perturbed by this, Sirius sat up a little and propped himself up against the wall of the shed.
"Well?" He queried brusquely, throwing down the cigarette when Lily hadn't spoken after a few moments.
"You," she began, stopping to correct the wobble that had drifted from her hand into her voice, "you stay away…from him."
"I'm afraid you'll need to be a little more specific," Sirius responded, although the amusement painted across his features let her know he was well aware what she meant.
"Remus!" Lily ground out, all but stamping her foot, "stay away from him."
Sirius shrugged, letting out a long sigh, "why should I do that?"
"Because…" Lily tried, the force falling away from her words as she couldn't think how to delicately end the sentence, "because…"
"Because you're his girlfriend?" He suggested, clearly trying to provoke her as she watched the same light flash through his eyes as earlier when he had been challenging in Lucius.
"Because you're going to get him into trouble," she finished bluntly, finding that the longer she spoke to him, the more confidence she gained. This boy would eventually leave – no one here knew who he was and she didn't have to act like a lady around him, as she did around every other boy. So long as their conversation remained in the shed, Lily could say whatever she wanted to him.
"Shouldn't you be at school yelling at your boyfriend for kissing someone else, instead of here, trying to threaten me?"
"Shouldn't you be locked up in some juvenile prison for runaways, instead of here, attacking boys who want nothing to do with you?"
His eyes flashed. She had hit a nerve. Which satisfied Lily because it was exactly what she was trying to do.
Sirius swung his legs over the edge of the bed and started towards her.
"Has your boyfriend ever actually kissed you?" He half-snarled, giving Lily the distinct impression he was holding back.
"Yes," she hissed in response, unconsciously folding her arms the closer he came.
"And did you have to beg him to do it?"
"At least I didn't have to ambush him!"
That short, loud laugh of Sirius's echoed around the shed.
"Is that what he told you?" He asked lowly, his eyes flashing again, this time with danger in them. "That I ambushed him?"
Trying to remember her conversation with Remus last night and wondering how Remus had described the interaction rendered Lily unable to respond.
"Or did he not bother to tell you what really happened? That I kissed him once, slowly, after he had been watching my lips the entire time we talked, and then stopped…"
The pangs of jealousy that Lily had been expecting to feel last night suddenly appeared and swamped her chest. It was as though he was telling her the most compelling story she had ever heard and yet, she wanted nothing more than for him to stop talking.
"…only for him to kiss me. He kissed me like he'd been waiting to do it his entire life. And then he stopped, because he remembered who he was and where he was."
"Are you trying to get him arrested?" Lily breathed, her voice shaking as she tried to quell the burning envy in her heart.
"No," Sirius said forcefully, somehow moving closer to her, "this bullshit country with these bullshit laws are trying to get him arrested, not me."
With that, he strode away from her and threw himself back down on the bed, not looking at her anymore.
"I know what you might think about me," Lily said, getting his attention as she finally found her voice, "but when he told me how he felt, all I cared about was that he was safe. That's why I'm here. I love him. And I'm not going to let anything happen to him. I don't know why you're here," she sniffed, as their eyes met, "but if you care about him, you'll leave him alone."
Deciding to get out of the shed before things got any worse, Lily turned around and walked into the daylight, finding James leaning against his motorcycle, obviously having listened to the whole conversation.
"Need a ride to school?" He asked, eyes following her as she stalked past him.
"No," she replied, wiping the tears from her eyes as she ran away. After that morning, she had no intention of going to school.
-------------------------------------------
Legs sore, chest heaving and fists still clenched, Lily strode through dense undergrowth, feet managing to dodge the nettles that were littered amongst the grass. It wasn't difficult for Lily to miss the nettles: she had traversed this place many times before, finding it to be the one place in town she could feel peace.
A cool wind drifted in off the lake and whipped around Lily as she moved around its edge. She was on the unkempt side of the water – the part the town did nothing to maintain and so the grass had grown long and patchy with weeds everywhere. From her usual spot, where there were a few trees, Lily could look out across the lake and see only the water. When she was there, she could miss the entire town and its manicured vegetation and lose herself in the unruly green.
She had just settled into her usual patch, marked by trodden down weeds, when she heard a noise.
"Ow!"
Lily groaned as she recognised the voice.
"Jesus Christ!" Sounded James's voice – she still couldn't see him but clearly he wasn't trying to be quiet.
Finally, she saw the top of his crazy hair come into view, and shortly after, his face: red and flustered.
"Pick a place with more nettles, why don't you?!" He yelped, jumping again after he hit another strand.
"You didn't have to follow me," Lily retorted, the sight of him jumping up and down easing the anger she felt at him.
Ignoring her comment, James moved towards her and stood above her, eyes moving across the lake.
"You okay?"
"You're ridiculously persistent, do you realise that?" Lily bit out, folding her arms around her knees.
"Yeah, I do," he said, taking off his jacket and throwing down on the grass. "I think it's my best quality, personally."
"Well, then you're both deluded and persistent," she muttered, hating that he had now sat down beside her, his long legs stretched out in front of him.
"Sirius really got to you, didn't he?" James said matter-of-factly, irritating Lily with his calm demeanour.
Lily swallowed, choosing not to say anything. Not wanting to give Sirius the pleasure of knowing that he had.
"I know you won't believe me, but he's actually a really nice guy – he's just going through a rough time at the minute."
"Oh yeah, he seems like a great guy," Lily hissed, finally letting out all of her frustration. "In the time he's shown up, he's done his absolute best to get Remus arrested. A real amazing guy, Sirius!"
James watched her diatribe carefully, eyes narrowing as she spoke.
"You're mad because you really like Remus," he said plainly, "because you're jealous."
Lily could've denied it. Maybe she should've protested and seemed outraged at his suggestion. But she already knew it was true. A part of her had always thought of Remus as 'hers'. At the moment, it seemed like that was brutally incorrect.
"Did he actually kiss you?" James asked teasingly when she didn't reply.
Scoffing, Lily regarded him sardonically, "yes," she drawled, sick of every person's inability to believe this. "What?" She gritted, when he started to grin at her again.
"Properly?"
"Are you trying to annoy me?" Lily shot back, resisting the urge to kick him in the shin.
"Answer the question!"
"It's a stupid question! What you mean 'properly?'"
"In my experience, a person knows when they've been properly kissed," James laughed.
This stopped Lily. Shutting her mouth, she knew that when Remus had kissed her, she had felt that something was missing.
"That's a no then," he said, with a small smile.
"It's none of your business," Lily replied, though she knew she had lost the fire in her voice.
"You should be kissed by someone who wants to kiss you," he continued briskly, now giving her the same intent gaze that he had back in the diner.
"You are not kissing me," she said haughtily, eyes moving upwards to inspect the sky.
Shrugging, James adopted the same position as Lily: knees bent towards his chest, arms around his knees and eyes towards the sky.
"Don't you ever worry that you won't make any mistakes?" He asked abruptly, causing Lily to look down at him. She felt her face change at the strangeness of his question.
"You want to get married, have lots of kids, live in a white house, right?" He continued when she was silent.
Lily nodded, as surely as she could. That was what she was supposed to want. No one seemed to care whether it was or not.
"So, when you're fifty, married for thirty years with three kids, aren't you worried you'll look back and regret not ever doing anything stupid?"
The question hit Lily like a bolt of lightning. She had never considered this possibility before. She was so consumed with her life right now that she had never looked into the future to wonder how she might look back on her teenage years. Would she regret how perfectly she behaved, despite feeling and wanting the exact opposite? Would she think back over all the times she had screamed into her pillow and wish, that instead of doing that, for once, she had told someone how she actually felt?
"Well, if you want I'll volunteer to be your one, stupid mistake," James told her languidly, though giving every suggestion that he was waiting to hear her answer, "and save you from a life of no regrets."
"It's just a kiss," she replied with a forcefulness that she didn't truly feel, "why does it matter so much to you?"
Grinning, James's eyes scanned her face, "because, I know when I'm fifty, I'll still be regretting it if we haven't."
"Do lines like that actually work on the girls in New York?" Lily asked, speaking just to distract herself from the butterflies jumping in her stomach.
"Definitely not," he admitted with a smile, ruffling his hair in the annoying way that he did. Although, she had to admit, he definitely wasn't the worst looking boy she had ever seen.
"You've known me for two minutes," she said, letting her knees fall to the ground. "You can't possibly know that you like me in that time."
"I have eyes, don't I?" James responded, "but as you said, it's just a kiss, it's not that big a deal."
Lily took a moment to consider this, letting her eyes fall to his lips as she wondered what it would be like to kiss him. To have him kiss her when he so obviously wanted to.
"But for the record, I love watching you stand up to people," he taunted, "seeing you yell at Sirius was fantastic."
Already sick of thinking after all the mental gymnastics she had performed, Lily made up her mind and, just as he finished talking, she quickly pressed her lips against his, shutting him up for the first time that day.
"There," she announced thickly, removing her lips from his almost as soon as she had kissed him, "there's your stupid kiss. Will you leave me alone now?"
Watching her with a look made up of amusement, lust and arrogance, James shook his head.
"Can I try?" He asked lowly, as his hand drifted up to her cheek and he leant in, leaving Lily just enough room to leave if she wanted. She didn't move and he kissed her. When his lips first met hers, it crossed Lily's mind that this kiss wasn't that different from the one she had just given him, but then something happened.
Just as she relaxed, James tilted his head to the right, his left arm winding around her waist as he pulled her up and in to meet his chest. Not expecting this, Lily came freely, hands landing on his shoulders instinctively as their bodies met.
He kissed her once, pulling away to break the contact between their lips, eyes pouring into hers, before letting their lips meet a second time. The hand on her cheek moved up to her hair, his fingers tangling amongst the curls just as she felt his tongue run lightly along her lower lip.
Lily hadn't a clue what she was doing but naturally opened her mouth a little, only to find James's tongue meeting her own. It felt a little strange a first and never had she been more aware of her own inexperience. But as his fingers continued to move in her hair and his right arm moved around her waist to pull her more and more towards him, as though he couldn't get her close enough, a flutter started to build in her toes.
James's hand fell from her hair and swept along her skirt, up her hips and around her waist to meet his other arm. He was holding her completely now and the flutter jittered around her whole body, moving to every place he touched her. If she was kissing him incorrectly, James showed no sign of it, kissing her as fervently as he could with no indication of stopping.
As his lips moved against hers, Lily found herself lowering towards the ground. At first she was indignant at the thought that James had moved her in this way, until she realised that it was her who was moving to lie down, pulling James with her by the shoulders as she moved.
Her back hit the flattened grass with a soft 'thump' as their kiss ended. He wasn't lying on top of her but his chest hovered over hers, his hands now either side of her head, propping him up above her. She took a moment to appreciate his appearance – to think how dark his eyes were, how the flush in his cheeks suited him and most strangely of all, how his attractive his hair was.
She noticed he was doing the same review of her and she winced inside, finding she hoped he was still as attracted to her as he had been before they had kissed.
She wasn't given long to dwell on this thought as James was soon kissing her again, diving right back in with the same intensity as before. Allowing her hands to move this time, Lily moved them into his hair, enjoying the feeling of being the one to pull him closer – to push her own body upwards and into his chest.
Lily now knew why everyone did this all the time. Why all the boys in her class were so desperate to kiss. She had never understood it before but lying there with James all but on top of her, the drive flowing around her body felt electric.
And she somehow wanted more of him. More of this feeling. More of whatever was happening now although she had no idea what that was or how to get it. Her body moved as she tried to think; she was still pulling him closer and closer until finally, he came with her, his chest landing on hers, legs in between her own, their bodies completely interlocked.
Lily felt a moment of thrilling satisfaction – this was what she had been trying to get at.
Until, her rational brain kicked in. This was probably what Amy Cline had been trying to get at too. The thought froze her solid, stopping her hands and pulling her lips away from James.
As her mind swarmed with images of homes and babies, Lily felt her arms move to James's chest as she pushed him off her and immediately sprang to her feet, hat falling away from her head as she moved.
"Sorry," he breathed, still on the ground as she looked down at him. With his swollen lips and messy hair, she would've been more pleased with the sight of him if she weren't so busy panicking. "Got a little carried away."
There was no reason for him to be apologising. It had been just as much her as it was him. Her, more so, really. That was the problem.
"Where are you going?" He asked, as Lily began striding away, needing more than anything to be away from him so she could think. "Lily!" He called after her when she didn't answer but she ignored him.
School was the only place she could go to now. Anywhere else and people would wonder why she wasn't there instead.
She would go to school and she could sit and panic there by herself and no one would notice.
Except maybe Remus.
------------------------------------
Remus kept his eyes trained on the pink potted geraniums that decorated the Evans's front door. Though they hadn't explicitly agreed it, Remus had half-thought that Lily would return to her house prior to school and they could go in together as always.
That would at least mean Remus would know what she had said to Sirius and how he had reacted and then perhaps he could stop worrying about every single thing he had done in the past twelve hours.
His parents usually left for work before he went to school so he had the place to himself as he watched the Evans house, hoping that Lily would appear on the street any moment.
He peered through the windows of the front room for ten minutes, then twenty and finally, half an hour had passed during which he had watched the house to no avail. He had observed Mr Evans leave for work but other than that, the house remained frustratingly still.
Remus looked at his watch. At this rate, he was going to be late for school. Deciding against letting fear control his decisions, he determined that he would go to school and if nothing else, Lily could update him there.
He had just finished locking the front door to his own house when he was rooted to the steps of the porch by the sound he heard in the distance – a deep, rumbling drone that echoed down the streets of Belmont, disturbing the quiet everywhere it went.
By the time Remus summoned the courage to lock the door and turn around, he knew that the motorcycle was on the street outside, coughing and spluttering into the air. As he walked down the steps, schoolbag at his hip, he kept his eyes on the pavement, save for a quick glance that he couldn't help. The glance afforded him a look at Sirius, who was leaning against the bike, still wearing the same leather jacket and jeans that he had been the day before.
Remus had quickly planned not to speak to him as he walked past but found himself unable to just continue walking as he caught sight of him. "What are you doing here?" He muttered, doing his best not to stop in case anyone in the street saw them.
"Well, I'm apparently banned from seeing you, so obviously I came straight here. Jenny was good enough to tell me where you lived," Sirius replied easily, crossing his feet in front of him.
"You saw Lily."
"It would've been impossible to miss her," he retorted dryly, "why are looking at the pavement?"
Remus ignored his question, finally deciding to meet Sirius's eyes, "I asked Lily to speak to you."
"And you can't speak to me yourself?"
"I can but I don't want to."
"Afraid you might kiss me again?" Sirius asked, with something of smile playing about his mouth.
Remus didn't find it so funny. The question horrified him. They were alone on the street but how could they know someone wasn't listening? How could this boy be so cavalier about everything? Why didn't he feel any of the fear that was currently coursing through Remus?
"I'm going to school now," he breathed as unemotionally as he could, his eyes leaving Sirius as he turned to walk down the street.
"I'll take you," Sirius offered, his hand shooting out to grab the sleeve of Remus's jumper.
Remus shook him off, letting out a loud laugh before remembering himself, "no thanks."
"Come on," Sirius smiled, patting the back seat of the bike. "I'll drop you somewhere quiet and I've a helmet so no one will see you."
Looking at him, Remus imagined that Sirius could get anyone to do anything just by smiling at them. That casual, easy smile was so intense, so free – it was hard to look away.
"I promise I just want to talk," he went on, "and we'll be leaving town in a couple of days. After that, you'll never have to see me again."
Sirius picked the helmet up off the back of the bike and held it out to him.
Thinking that the longer he stood there with his face uncovered, the more chance there was of someone seeing him, and knowing that Sirius probably wasn't going to leave him alone otherwise, Remus grabbed the helmet and started to put it on.
A few minutes later, he was climbing ungracefully onto the back of the bike.
"You can hold on to the bars over the back wheel," Sirius told him, looking over his shoulder at Remus, "or, you can hold on to me."
Remus looked at the bars over the wheel and realised that to hold onto them would mean bending his arms behind him. Saying nothing, he put his arms on Sirius's hips, praying harder than he had ever prayed that no one was looking at them. He held onto the jacket as the bike started up underneath him.
Ignoring Sirius's smile, he took a deep breath as the bike jutted forward, motoring noisily along the quiet suburban street. Knowing that the whole street could hear them should've provoked more fear in Remus. And in the beginning, it did. However, as the drive went on, he found himself enjoying the reckless feeling of flying down the road as Sirius increased the speed. The bike rumbled along under his legs, the strength of the vibrations causing his whole body to shake. He saw places that he knew whirl past him in strokes of colour, blurring out of his vision before he had time to register where exactly they were.
He watched as the bike flew past the market, the city's library and soda shop, where they had first met. As they drove, Sirius's hair streamed back behind him, flowing madly in the wind.
At some point during the journey, Remus's arms slipped fully around Sirius's waist – he didn't notice it happen at the time but he noticed it as they sped past the route that would've taken him to school and instead continued onwards towards the lake and woods.
He decided against saying anything, again allowing the reckless momentum to overtake him as he let Sirius dictate their end point.
The bike turned off the road into the woods, the lake passing them on the right hand side. Just ahead, Remus could see the well kept lawns of the picnic area beside the lake. He knew that Lily sometimes came down here to be on the other side of the lake – it was her spot – but he had never been here much himself, save for when he was younger. When the weather was nice, his family used to come here for picnics, if both his parents could take the time off work.
When they were surrounded by trees, the bike started to slow and Remus felt Sirius's legs drag along the ground as the scenery spun slowly into view. When they were fully stopped, Sirius switched off the bike.
"Not to point out the obvious, but this isn't my school," Remus said as he climbed off and began to unbuckle the helmet. Sirius swung his left leg over the back of the bike and climbed off easily.
"What?" He asked, when Sirius laughed instead of answering.
"Your hair," he grinned, eyes trained just about Remus's as he walked towards him.
Remus let his hands move to his hair, feeling it flat upon his head from the weight of the helmet.
"Oh," he smiled, just about to fix it with his own hands when Sirius got there before him.
With a soft touch, Sirius ran his fingers through Remus's hair, shaking it out a little as he went. His right hand came up to do the same to the other side of Remus's hair – at this Remus felt his eyes fall to the ground before they closed completely. He wanted to enjoy the feeling of this moment, and here, in the woods by themselves, he could.
The nervous energy he felt at having Sirius so near dissipated as he paid attention only to the sensations running through his hair.
All too quickly, the hands fell away from his hair and just as Remus was about to open his eyes, he felt Sirius's lips on his.
If he had lied to himself, Remus could've believed that he had forgotten the first time they kissed within seconds of it ending. But that was a ridiculous falsehood – he had barely thought of anything else but the feeling of that kiss since it happened. He had paced the moment in his mind over and over again – trying to remove the crushing disappointment that it could never happen again. Trying to convince himself that he hadn't wasted the one truly romantic moment he had ever experienced.
But above all, he had told himself he would cherish the memory. Even if it had ended too soon, he told himself he could live on the memory of it for years, maybe decades.
Now, as the kiss happened again, had he been able to think sanely around this boy, he would've again told himself to be happy with the first kiss and to move away. As it was, his body got there before him.
Letting his hands slide up to Sirius's face, he did what he had wanted to do the first time, and pulled him closer. Hands now at his neck, Remus forgot who he was and how he was supposed to be and kissed Sirius with all the pent up energy that had been controlling him since they first met. He kissed him, knowing that if this were to be their last kiss, he wouldn't regret it.
Sirius's hands wrapped around his waist, pulling him in and Remus got lost in the burning sensation rising in his body – the kind he had felt after they first kissed and did his best to suppress. This time he wouldn't suppress it.
He was all too ready to dive head first into the moment when Sirius broke away, exhaling raggedly.
"I thought you weren't going to do that again," Remus said breathlessly, eyes still closed, his nose against Sirius's as he felt him grin.
"I lied," he smirked, hands now back in Remus's hair, "I can apologise if you want."
This was meant to taunt. To show him Sirius knew how much Remus wanted him.
"I'm not sure I'd believe you if you did," Remus replied as Sirius moved away, back towards the bike. At some point, he had grabbed the helmet from Remus without him noticing.
"Something to remember me by," he said, with his back to Remus, throwing the helmet to the ground, a tone echoing around the forrest that Remus didn't recognise.
"When are you leaving again?" He asked, trying desperately not to sound as though he wanted him to stay.
"Few days," Sirius shrugged, now sitting on the bike, his eyes examining the tree tops.
"Oh."
"And your plans are?"
"I'm sorry?"
"Your plans," Sirius stated decisively, "what are you planning to do with your life? Don't tell me you're just going to stay here and pretend for their rest of your life. I might have to throw myself off the nearest cliff."
Remus tried to feel that this was a joke and ignored the fact that he had once considered this option, "I'm going to go to Paris when I graduate. Lily and I. We're leaving as soon as we can."
At this Sirius let out his usual abrupt laugh, which echoed off the wood and bounced around the air for a few minutes.
"So, you have one of those too then?"
"One of what?"
"One of those friends who is going to ruin their life for you."
The statement struck Remus coldly and he felt his skin prick with anger. That wasn't true. Paris had always been Lily's escape too. He hadn't talked her into it. If he remembered correctly, the whole thing had been her idea. Even after he had told her how he really felt, she had still wanted to go.
"She wants to come," Remus replied as calmly as he could. "She's always wanted to go. I haven't asked her to."
"Of course not," Sirius said with the same harsh voice, "I'm sure she's dying to run off with Prince Charming to a foreign land while he wishes she was actually a guy. Getting married are you?"
"No," he retorted, now losing his cool. "We'll tell everyone here we are but when we're…"
"And explain to me how running off to Paris with a man who isn't her husband isn't going to ruin her life?" Sirius interrupted. "That's not going to destroy her reputation when she finally does want to get married?"
"Lily wouldn't want to marry the kind of man who cared about that."
He laughed again, "as far as I know that's pretty much all of them."
Rather than argue more, Remus fell silent. Part of his brain blocked off what Sirius had said. It wouldn't be like that. He wasn't ruining her life.
"And college? She's giving up that for you too?"
Remus took a moment to steady himself, "she can't go. Her parents can't afford it."
"You said she was smart."
"She is."
"But not enough to get a scholarship?"
Again, this brought silence pounding down on Remus. She could get a scholarship. He knew she could. If someone would just care about her education, her mind, tell her she was smart and allow her to believe it, Lily could get into any college she wanted.
"James doesn't need a scholarship," Sirius went on, now looking at his feet. "His family could afford it. He's a cert for Yale or Columbia. Or he was…before he ran off with me."
"Why did you leave?"
"I didn't fancy being locked up in a psychiatric ward," he replied bitterly. "I never planned on telling my parents how I felt – I knew they were vindictive assholes. But never in my wildest dreams did I think they'd try and cure me."
"How did they find out?"
"When I kept bailing on every match they set me up with, they figured something was up," Sirius told him, "and then they found photos and all hell broke lose."
"Then you left?"
Sirius nodded, kicking the tyres of the bike, "it was James's idea. Stupid bastard. I told him I could go on my own but he refused. Now we're here and his life is as fucked as mine." He stopped kicking to take a deep breath, throwing his head back to the sky, chest puffed out as far as it could go.
"You didn't ruin his life," Remus said quietly, when neither of them had spoken for a few minutes, "he chose to go with you."
"I know," Sirius acknowledged, breathing out heavily, "you can let me know if that makes you feel any better when you're in Paris with Lily. Come on," he said, patting the back seat of the cycle, "I'll take you back to town."
----------------------------------------
It didn't bother Lily too much when Remus didn't show up to their first class together. Occasionally, he might volunteer to open up the soda shop before school and that would keep him late.
But by the time lunch came and Remus was still nowhere to be found, Lily was starting to panic. What if something had happened to him? What if he had run into Sirius again?
In the beginning, she had selfishly wanted him there so she could tell him about James. So he could tell her that everything would be alright and there was no way that you could get pregnant just by a boy lying on you. As the day went on however, his absence panicked her more and more, so just as lunch ended, she had stopped worrying about James and started worrying about Remus.
She had made up her mind to go home and call at Remus's house and was on her way out of the school when a hand shot out of a classroom and pulled her sideways.
"Lucius!" She jumped, backing away from him as he shut the door over her shoulder.
"I'm sorry for scaring you, Lily but we need to talk," he stated firmly, towering over her.
"What's wrong?" She asked, hearing the tremble in her voice and hoping against hope that nothing terrible had happened.
"It's about Remus."
The grave look on Lucius's face left no doubt in Lily's mind as to what he was talking about and she fought back to urge to be physically sick then and there.
"What do you mean?" She said, trying to keep a plain face.
Lucius opened his mouth to speak but then seemed unable to continue, eyeing her uncertainly and with something that looked like pity.
"I…I don't like being the one to tell you this Lily," he said, "and I hate to see you used like this. You know I've always liked you."
"Lucius, please," Lily tried shakily, "just tell me what it is."
With another uncertain look, he continued. "You know I go shooting in the woods sometimes?"
Lily nodded, hearing her heartbeat thudding in her ears. She wasn't sure if she did know that but now wasn't the time to interrupt.
"I was there this morning with a few of the guys and…"
"And?"
"Lupin was there."
"Okay," Lily encouraged – she was already doing a worthless job at stopping tears but what he was about to tell her was everything she had feared since these boys had arrived.
"He wasn't alone, Lily."
"Oh," she said quietly, feeling the tears slip over her eyes as she let her head fall forward, desperate to hide her face from him. The sight of her crying changed Lucius's face entirely – Lily was doing her best to hide it but she was no match for the fear currently rattling around her chest.
"You know," he confirmed, eyes drilling into her as she saw the shock on his face.
"Lucius, please…"
"You know he's a fucking…"
"Lucius!" She interrupted, grabbing him round the shoulders. "Please. This is a misunderstanding. This is…"
"There's no misunderstanding," he snarled. "I saw him with that degenerate on the motorcycle. I came here to warn you but now I see…"
"Where is he, Lucius?" She wept, hands shaking as she grasped his arms. "Please, just give me some time."
"I came here to warn you but the rest of the team went to find him," he continued cruelly, pushing her off him. "I can't guarantee what state you'll find him in, Lily," he called after her as she ran towards the door, flinging it open, running faster than she ever had in her life.
----------------------------------------------
She had torn her nails to shreds. She looked down at her hands, now bloody and red raw, her eyes feeling the same way.
She had lost the ability to cry – the tears disappearing hours ago when it became clear to her that she wasn't going to find him.
The clock on her desk table told her it was now after 10pm. After running all over town trying to find Remus – the soda shop, the woods, even the hospital – Lily had come home, praying that maybe he was in his house. It only made her feel worse to know that his mother hadn't seen him since this morning.
Defeated, devastated and drained, she had returned to her bedroom and sat, looking out her window across the street, willing him to appear – safe and sound.
At some point, Lily knew she would have to call the police. If he hadn't come home by midnight, she'd have to either go out and look for him again or call the police and ask them to help her find him. Lily didn't want to think about that – she didn't want to think about what state she might find him in.
She was busy getting lost in this horrible thought when there was a tap against the window nearest her bed. Hardly believing that she had heard anything, Lily bolted to the pane. There was nothing there but as she opened it and pushed her head out through the gap, she saw two shadowy figures standing outside by the side of her house.
Not taking the time to say anything, Lily paced to her bedroom door and ran down the stairs as quietly as she could. Her parents would be watching television in their front room and Petunia would still be out with Vernon – caring only that she didn't disturb them, Lily tiptoed quickly past the room and then fled to the back door.
As she fell out into the garden, she saw Remus and James. She would've cried merely at the sight of seeing Remus standing upright but as she moved towards him and the moonlight struck his face, she broke down.
They had beaten him black and blue: his right eye was purple and swollen and she could see dried blood around his mouth.
"Remus," Lily breathed, tears already roaming down her face, "oh my God," she cried, as he came towards her and she wrapped her arms around him. His head fell to her shoulder and she felt her clothes dampen as he cried too.
"I hate them," she spat through her tears, feeling him shake with anguish, his fists clenched at her side. "I hate them so much."
He shuddered and moved back a little, wiping at his face, wincing when it obviously hurt him, "I got off lightly," he said, not looking like he believed this, "if Sirius and James hadn't fought them off, I don't know what would've happened."
At the mention of the other boys, Lily finally looked behind Remus to see James standing with them, his face pale and grave as they talked.
"Where is Sirius?" She asked, looking around to see there was no one else with them.
"By the bikes," James told her, as she looked down to see the skin on his knuckles was bloody and torn, "he got hit badly too. Didn't want to come here with us."
"Oh. Is he okay?" she asked. When James nodded Lily looking back to Remus. "Have you been to the hospital? We can talk about what we're going to do afterwards but first, we need to…"
"I'm going with them, Lily," he said quietly, his soft, abused eyes staring into hers.
"What?" Lily whispered, hardly believing what he had just said.
"I can't stay here now," he went on, taking both her hands in his. "Not after this."
"But we can report them. We can have them arrested."
"And that will change how they feel about people like me?" Remus retorted honestly. "That will stop them from ostracising me even more? From hating me?"
He squeezed her hands, another errant tear escaping him, "I can't live like that, Lily. I don't want to live like that. I want to go somewhere I can be free. Somewhere I can be myself and be happy."
Knowing he was right, Lily found herself unable to speak. She wanted him to be happy more than anything but life without Remus was unimaginable to her.
"I'm sorry about Paris," he said, his forehead now meeting hers. "But it wasn't right, for either of us."
"What do you mean?"
"You should go to college, Lily," Remus stated earnestly. "Go to college. Find a scholarship or find a way. You are so smart – you could be whatever you wanted to be. Don't listen to your mom or Petunia. Screw finding a husband. Find out what it is you want to do in life and do it."
She was about to reply when a noise echoed from insider her house, catching all of their attention.
"We should go," James said, clapping Remus on the shoulder.
Nodding, Remus pulled her into another hug.
"I'll write to you when we get there," he said into her hair, squeezing her tight before letting go.
Tears now in full flow, Lily wasn't able to say anything to him. Instead she was rendered speechless as he walked away.
"I'll take care of him," James told her, catching her gaze. Grabbing her hand, he pressed a quick kiss to her forehead, before he followed Remus out of the garden.
And Lily stood quietly in the moonlight, watching them both go.
