After you've become Champion yourself and re-fought the Elite Four, her team's levels will be boosted by ten.

...Y'know, funny story, I was only reminded about Muhammad Ali being from Kentucky after I'd planned out (nearly) all of the human characters, including Caroline here, and it was also then that I learned of his nickname of The People's Champion. Looking back, I prolly coulda made a trainer based on him, either the fighting-type one if I wasn't so set on making the UK basketball reference or even the champion. Unfortunately I did not think of or know these at the time, so instead I'm just gonna reference him in Cantessy history. The first Cantessy League champion in the region's lore is gonna be based on him, and he would've had a Cantessian Machamp as his ace. Now there's a statue in Louifort (the place where you fight the Elite Four and Caroline) in memoriam to them :3

Naida@Baborachi: "Greetingks!" The tall female Empoleon waves to the Machamp proudly with a steel wing, smiling as she approaches the four-armed wrestler. "You look like fine example of your kin; strongk and firm! And yet gentle, makingk with the plantingk of flowers and helpingk others more than exercise! Almost like mother!" she jokes with a hearty, uplifting chuckle. "Is joke! But real question; you are Fightingk Type, yet don't seem like ~fightingk type~, yes? Vhy so meek vith the violence?"

To say that the Machamp was caught off guard by the loud and jolly Empoleon was a bit of an understatement, seeing how he quickly backed away. He couldn’t help feel flustered at her comments, for it’s unusual for a complete stranger to say such things to him.

The shy Pokemon averts his gaze, silently thinking over her words. Normally he would rather keep conversations to a minimum since he’s often unsure on how to deal with strangers, but...he didn’t want to seem rude. Her questions are reasonable and he can’t see why he shouldn’t answer them, but at the same time...his hesitance of meeting others rear its ugly familiar head.

However...the energy that she radiates was something that Baborachi couldn’t help but admire, since it shows how friendly someone is. Because of this he managed to find the courage to turn his head and look her in the eyes, but sadly this only lasted for a few seconds before averting his gaze again.

Even without him looking her, he opens his mouth to speak; finally answer her question.

“W-Well...” He begins awkwardly. “I can understand why you’re confused, since...uh...fighting-types are known to...well...fight...” The Machamp shuffles his feet uncomfortably, one of his hands instinctively gripping the wrists of another. “It’s...rare for a Pokemon like me to dislike fighting, in fact...many would...look down upon me because of it.”

Her compliments ring in his mind once more, causing his lips to form a small smile. Eventually he looks back at her again, even though the tiny smile vanished...his gaze held. “I...dislike fighting because of...” He closes his eyes. “...of how good I am at it.”

No, that wasn’t the whole truth and Baborachi knew it. It’s quite obvious that the Pokemon wasn’t saying everything due to the expression on his face, and it’s also just as obvious that he’s conflicted on revealing any more. The turmoil in his eyes lasted for several long moments before he closes them, with his mind made he takes a quiet breath. “Something...takes over when...I fight, it causes me to hurt others without...control. So I avoid fighting, because I’ve hurt...” He swallows a lump in his throat. “...and k-killed people.”

With a shuddering sigh he opens his eyes and averts his gaze again. “So...I try to not fight, I only do it when I...need to. I don’t like hurting things, instead...I would like to heal them and make them grow.”

The thought of doing something to make things better make his smile return, this one larger than before. “I take care of the garden, making it flourish and...using my harvests to help others.” He lets out a quiet laugh. “I...guess I am kinda like a...mother, although I...never thought about it.” Baborachi’s gaze turns to his arms and the powerful muscles they retain. “I work hard, so...I do still get exercise while lifting heavy things.” Even though he appreciated the Empoleon’s compliments, he didn’t voice them out loud. So instead he looks back at her again, this time looking at her entire form for real.

The admiration in his eyes are quite plain to see, perhaps due to the fact he’s never seen an Empoleon such as Naida. “You...also look quite strong...yourself?" The awkwardness in that compliment could cause crickets to chirp, even Baborachi couldn’t hold the embarrassed flush on his face.

Eventually he looks down, sliding his lower hands into the pockets of his cargo shorts. “So...that’s Baborachi, just want to heal...not fight and hurt others.”

Pokemon Go Teams (Yuri on Ice)

(A/N: This is very late but well I posted it long time ago so XD)

Valor Team 

Yurio, Georgi, Chris, Minami 

•Yurio is totally the one that's actually fired up but denying like "No, this is only a game pfft, why would I spend my time to go the beach just to get 100 magikarp" 

•Joins because it suits him. Fiery and passion and wanna dominate! Winning! You know lol 

•Minami is totally fired up and will walk for miles to get the freakin pokemon, especially the rare one 

•He first starts join because the symbol looks cool? (And it's red like a part of his hair lol). But then when he realises Yuuri in Mystic, he's devastated for a while before somehow ended up competitive with him 

•Georgi merely joins this group because his ex joins mystic with his current bf LOL 

•Chris same reason because Victor is in Mystic :/ 

•Chris will be the type that collects all the pokemon without knowing the term called 'evolve'. So he ended up wasting a lot of space 

•Minami will be hella excited when he manages to evolve eevee to flareon and it will be his fav! 

•"YESSSS GYARADOS!" 

•"So I guess you're really into pokemon go huh, Yuri?" 

•"Shut up Georgi!" •Yurio's fav would be Arcanine, Charizard, Gyarados 

•Minami's fav would be Flareon, Dragonite, and Snorlax 

•Georgi's fav would be Gengar coz it looks scary but actually cute (?), Arbok 

•Chris's fav would be Vulpix, Ninetales, Flareon (lol he's so foxy xD)

 •No no no, I totally not making for Victuuri *cough* 

•Yuuri choose this because it's closest to him in terms of principle? But Victor merely chooses because Yuuri chooses that too LOL

•Victor will be so excited every time he got pokemon like "Yuuri! I got Rattata! Isn't it adorable~?" 

•"But Rattata is like everywhere..." 

•Yuuri teaches Victor how to evolve and he was amazed when his eevee evolves to vaporeon 

•"It looks like mermaid! That's cute! Hmm... I guess I name it Katsudon then..." 

•"E-Eh?! why?" 

•"Because I love katsudon! and I love this pokemon tol since it's the first pokemon that I evolve thanks to you~" 

•//Blushing Yuuri 

•When Yuuri got Machamp, he names it Victor unbeknownst to Victor LOL 

•And also~ Victor suggests for the naming of Nidoran M to be him while the F would be Yuuri :3 

•Well Victor claims he doesn't realise about the meaning of female and male but I think he knows deep and down. And even if he knows now, he doesn't ask to change LOL 

•And so, Yuuri's fav would be Nidoking and Nidoqueen xD, Machamp, Squirtle 

•Victor's fav would be Nidoking and Nidoqueen too ofc, Snorlax because man he wishes he could sleep on it, Vaporeon, jigglypuff just because it looks so squishy and fluffy

Instinct Team 

THE HOLY TRINITY- I mean Pitchit, Guang Ho, Leo

•Leo joins because it suits him in terms of the team's principle 

•Well I know it maybe only me but I can imagine Pitchit being a meme poster and since Spark is considered a meme lord, he joins because he thought the leader is the coolest lol 

•Guang Ho joins because his friends are all there 

•Pitchit will be like a mom to his pokemon tbh, he really cares like giving candies, make sure the egg hatches, etc 

•You'll see them together and walk together with their phones while trying to search for pokemon and stop when one of them found it. 

•Hype together when one of them got are going to evolve 

•"Oh my God guys, this is it. My eevee is gonna be Flareon!" Pitchit said in excitement while the other two just watched in anticipation where a short evolution clip is being played. 

•"I'm still short of two more" Guang Ho sighed 

•"Mine is even worse I guess... I still need 5 more" Leo chuckles nervously 

•But then when they achieve the requirement to evolve, they will quickly inform and yes, hype together 

•Leo with Jolteon and Guang Ho with Vaporeon. Eeveeryone is different~! 

•Leo's fav would be Jolteon, Abra, Psyduck 

•Guang Ho's fav would be pikachu, eevee, vaporeon, bulbasaur, basically the cute ones 

•Pitchit's fav would be Dewgong, Flareon, Snorlax, Dragonite
