man I REALLY see what everyone was talking about re: wyll's story in the latter game fucking sucks and is a big disappointment. the whole wyrmway bit had no emotional depth? his decision after killing ansur seems kind of random and sudden? the resolution with his father after I rescued him from the iron throne was pretty lackluster too, and also some of duke ravengard's dialogue was as if wyll had made the second deal with mizora, which he hadn't (I think the fact that he chose to be blade of avernus triggers the dialogue for that, but. he can choose to be blade of avernus after rejecting mizora's deal.)
like, especially in contrast to really emotionally rich and intense storylines like astarion's and karlach's, it's like. come on.

inspired by this ask lol
You've been ovulating.
And it's been torture for Miguel.
Your scent covers every inch of the house when he comes home, almost taunting him since he wasn't able to do anything about it. Every time that he came back from work, you were either already asleep or you were out doing errands. He'd even resorted to masturbating once more, something he hadn't done since before the two of you started to date. Luckily for him, you'd worn the red lingerie that he adored so much so he was able to use it for his depraved fantasies. The material bunched around his fist as he slowly dragged it through his shaft, precum slowly dribbling onto the pretty bow in the middle.
The tangy smell of your discharge clouded his mind as his hand wrapped around his cock, pushing the flimsy material up and down. He looked over at you as you slept, seeing the way that the nightgown slightly raised above your thighs. He felt perverted as he jerked himself off, knuckles starting to turn white as he tightened the fist wrapped around his cock. He couldn't help himself though, you just looked so pretty when you slept with your lips parted and arms wrapped around a Spider-Man plushie you'd bought to support a flea market vendor. The worst part was that his fist couldn't replicate the feeling of your cunt, his orgasm offering no sense of euphoria afterwards.
He'd left the house before you had the chance to wake up, his frustrations following him into the workplace. "You don't think you should chill on the recruits? You've been working them like a pack of dogs," Peter had taken notice, teasing Miguel at every opportunity that arose. Miguel pushed him away with a small grunt, unwilling to entertain the obvious bait that Peter was setting in front of him. "You look stressed. Maybe you should let us go home early," Peter had told him before lunchtime, an idea sparking up in Miguel’s head after he said that. "Maybe I will," he muttered to himself, looking through the monitors to make sure nothing too catastrophic was occurring.
After scrolling for a while on social media, you'd discovered a couple of reviews about a Sol de Janeiro lotion that was presumed to attract wolf spiders by mimicking their mating pheromones. While that seemed to warrant the lotion a one star review by the people affected, you couldn't help but wonder how it would affect your boyfriend. You knew that he must've been struggling to contain himself with the smell of your hormones lingering around the apartment, planning to intensify that feeling by adding the body butter.
"Are you sure you want to buy this? Some of our customers have been complaining that they're attracting spiders," The Sephora associate at the counter asked you after scanning in the product. You were certain that it was the best purchase you could've made, an investment towards your pleasure if you will. "I'm sure, but thank you," you responded, putting your card into the reader and grabbing your bag after the payment processed. The butter itself didn't seem too special when you scooped some up into your hand but you were willing to indulge for the sake of the experiment. After lathering the butter onto your skin, you dressed up in your nightgown and waited for him to get home.
"¿Mi cielo? Ya llegue," Miguel called out from the living room, the sound of the front door closing behind him. (my darling, i’m home) "In the bedroom!" You called out, his heavy footsteps padding closer and closer to you as he made his way through the apartment. He came into the bedroom, having to take a step back as the scent engulfing the room made its way to his head. "Did you buy a new perfume or something?" He asked, sitting down on the corner of the bed as he pressed some buttons on his gizmo. The material of his suit disintegrated, leaving him completely exposed to you. "Or something. Why, do you like it?"
You hoped that he did, you'd had about two spiders crawling on you before he came home. He brought his head closer to your legs, his eyes almost rolling to the back of his head as the combined scent of your arousal and the lotion overpowered his senses. "I don't just like it, think I'm starting to love it," he murmured as he licked a stripe up your leg, already starting to feel his cock pushing into the mattress. He ignored the growing arousal leaking onto his shaft, focusing on the task that was presented right in front of him. He spread your legs open, exposing your cunt. "It's like you've been wanting this. No panties underneath that nightgown?" He mused, bringing his head closer as he started to kiss his way up your thighs.
"Wanted to be all ready for when you came home," you responded, the words slowly dying out on your tongue as he ran his tongue through your folds. His eyes shut closed as your arousal coated his tongue, the different amount of pheromones lingering in the air making it difficult to maintain his composure. He wanted to take his time with you, ease you into it but his cock throbbed with anticipation. His tongue pushed in and out of you, fingers spreading your folds open to expose your cunt to him. Your hand made its way down to his hair, fingers running through the strands before slightly tugging on them.
His fingers replaced his tongue, the thickness of his middle and pointer filling you up with ease. They were longer than some of your toys so he was never able to go in knuckle-deep, but he enjoyed the way you seemed to write underneath him with just half of them inside of you. His tongue started swirling around your clit, eyes opening and locking up on yours as he gauged for your reactions. While he enjoyed tasting and eating you out, the one thing that he enjoyed the most was listening to the way that you moaned out his name. Especially when you tried to give him a broken segment of a sentence, unable to speak from the sheer bliss that he brought you.
Your thighs enclosed around his head, holding him in place as he sucked on the swollen nub. "Oh fuck Mig! Don't stop!" You moaned out as you felt his fingers curl upwards inside of you, the tips hitting that spongy spot inside of you. Your toes curled as he hit that spot inside of you repeatedly, the grip on his hair tightening as you felt yourself growing closer and closer to your orgasm. He pulled his mouth back just as your cunt tightened up against his fingers, the prospect of your orgasm subsiding as he did so. "Why'd you do that for?" You protested, a small smirk appearing on his features as he got on his knees. "Only place you'll be coming around is my cock, princesa." (princess)
He brought your legs up to his shoulders as he aligned his cock with your entrance, the tightness of your cunt engulfing his tip as he pushed it in. The arousal from the prospect of an orgasm that was rudely ripped away from you made it easier for him to slide in, though every inch of his cock made it seem like it was pushing past your limits. "Tan apretadita. Have I been neglecting you for too long?" he teased as he felt your walls flutter around his cock, struggling to adjust to the sensation of having him inside you once more. (so tight) All you could do was nod along to his question, receiving a small chuckle in response as he retracted his cock. "I'll make it up to you," was all that he said before he pushed his cock back inside of you.
He was unable to help himself, bringing his head closer to your legs as he smelt the remnants of the butter lingering on your skin. The angle that he was thrusting in allowed for him to hit deep inside of you, the tip of his cock almost reaching your cervix. "You take it so well for me, made to take this cock," he told you, looking down to meet your eyes. You looked so needy, laying there and taking everything that he had to give you. His thighs slapped against yours with every thrust that he took, his pace speeding up to fulfill the desire that had been building up towards this moment. The sounds of skin slapping together mixed along with the scent of your arousal and the moans slipping from your mouth, the room reeking of sex.
"Mig, Mig," you started out, unable to finish the sentence but you didn't need to. He just tell from the glassy look on your eyes that you were close to your orgasm, his pace remaining the same as his cock pushed in and out of you. "I know baby. I’ll be nice this time and let you cum," he cooed, his thumb coming down to your clit to stimulate the bud. You felt a small shudder running down your spine at the contact, your legs starting to spasm as you slowly approached your orgasm. Your walls clenched around him tightly, almost sucking his cock in deeper as he thrusted into you. When your walls unclenched, your arousal completely flooded his shaft and formed a creamy ring at the base of his cock.
He had half the mind to fill you up with his cum, knowing that his sperm would take much easier given the state that you were in. He reluctantly pulled out, giving himself a couple of strokes as you got onto your knees. Your doe eyes stared up at his while you swirled your tongue around the tip of his cock, hand wrapped around his cock as you pushed it up and down his shaft. He let out a small grunt as he reached his orgasm, some of his cum drooling down your chin. You swallowed the sticky residue, one of his fingers coming up to your chin as he cleaned what had leaked out of your mouth. He brought his head down to meet yours, his lips meeting yours for a passionate kiss as your eyes fluttered shut. His cock grew hard again within seconds, the smell of the butter still managing to last through the previous session.
"Get on your stomach, hermosa. We're not done for the night."

I WISH YOU WOULD (P.WB)

Tumblr media
"i love you".
if wonbin could go back, trust he would.
there's something disappointing about falling in love with your fellow trainee, your fellow trainee who is also your best friend, your fellow trainee who is also a boy. he wishes he could rewrite time and not convince his mom to change his class at school, because then he would never have met him.
and now that sounds downright ridiculous, it can't possibly be that bad can it? i mean— falling in love with your best friend as a whole is an entire kind of situation that happens in books and usually has a happy ending. what's wrong with his best friend?
nothing, there's nothing wrong with him.
it's wonbin that's wrong.
having conflicting feelings is normal, obviously, everyone experiences it when they have a crush, but wonbin didn't want to have feelings for his best friend, wonbin didn't want to have a crush on a boy.
y/n was probably one of the best people he's ever met. he's kind, and understanding, and beautiful, and humorous and pretty much attractive to anyone with two pairs of eyes, he's the perfect boyfriend material, he's just perfect.
and maybe that's what felt so wrong about having feelings for his best friend, intimidation.
well, wonbin liked to lie to himself.
yeah, that's the reason your afraid of having feelings for your best friend, your "intimidated" by his perfection, not because your scared of what others would think, other trainees, management, your parents, the world, that's not the reason your afraid of having feelings for him.
wonbin had never really spent a lot of time thinking about it, and he hates how he can practically hear the responses from people the moment he realizes his feelings for y/n.
they're staring at him like he's disgusting.
and what's worse than having people judge you? judge you for something you yourself can't control?
it's what keeps him up at night, those worries used to be planted at the back of his mind, because how would it even become something of relevance in his life? it'd never actually become real.
and maybe he's wrong for thinking such a way; after all, he can't just let others dictate who he loves or doesn't love.
but it's the thoughts in his mind slowly eating away at him that make him feel like everything's spiraling out of control. he can't date y/n, in a company like sm, in a country like korea, where if someone ever saw them together he'd be scrutinized and black-listed from the idol industry despite how hard he's worked?
it all makes him feel sick to his stomach.
how was he even supposed to tell y/n? he knew y/n wasn't homophobic but.. then there's the fear of rejection, he can't even imagine the kind of look y/n would give him if he found out. not out of disgust, but out of surprise, shock.
somehow, his mind thinks of every bad possibility as an outcome.
and just staring at y/n, sweet beautiful y/n who has no idea what he's fighting in his head, makes him fear confessing even more.
the two of them are already what i guess you'd dub "over affectionate". they do a lot of couple-y things like have matching rings, cook for each other, help run errands together, cuddle, steal each other's sweaters, cling onto each other like they were lifelines.
if everything stayed like that, wonbin would be just fine.
but of course, when has life ever been nice to him?
wonbin can't really stare at y/n without feeling like he wants to break down into tears and sob, they could be having the best time ever and he'll still have this overwhelming wave of sadness wash over him when he remembers his feelings.
it disappoints him in a way that it shouldn't..
and y/n clearly picks up on his sudden change. his flushed cheeks, mutters, and the way he seems to enjoy avoiding eye contact with him these days.
is his unusual clinginess noticeable?
wonbin usually isn't self conscious about things that like, but he guesses falling in love with your best friend makes you begin seeing things in a whole different light. he can't help but notice the uncomfortable shift in the air between him and y/n.
nothing has even been said.. so why is his anxiety through the roof?
wonbin finally snaps out of whatever dream he was having when he feels nails dig into his shoulder, squeeze them like his life depends on it. that's all it takes for wonbin to flinch, and he hates the way his reaction is so immediate, it's just more obvious that way.
y/n blinks, startled by the way he suddenly flinches. "you okay?" he inquires, and wonbin wants to kiss him so bad it infuriates him.
he shouldn't want to kiss him.
he feels like he's being pinched, and somehow he forces out a response; "yeah i'm just tired".
y/n doesn't buy his lie, it's evident in the way he stares at him for a specifically long time. "you should be fine".
wonbin pauses. "what?"
"your gonna debut, i wouldn't worry about it" y/n mutters, and he brings his knees to his chest as he rocks back and forth.
wonbin stares, hopefully not for too long, because then he'd just be looking too obvious and then y/n would ask more questions.
he really wants to punch himself at the moment.
he shouldn't feel so disgusted about being in love with y/n.
but he does.

Great Men Theory - And Why It Sucks
Tumblr media
When I already rant on my Sundays about historical misconceptions and how history is taught wrong, I cannot help but also talk about the entire Great Men Theory and how much it has influenced how we teach history to... basically everyone. This entire fucking theory goes back to a dude called Thomas Carlyle, who wrote in one of his books:
Universal History, the history of what man has accomplished in this world, is at bottom the History of the Great Men who have worked here. They were the leaders of men, these great ones; the modellers, patterns, and in a wide sense creators, of whatsoever the general mass of men contrived to do or to attain; all things that we see standing accomplished in the world are properly the outer material result, the practical realisation and embodiment, of Thoughts that dwelt in the Great Men sent into the world: the soul of the whole world's history, it may justly be considered, were the history of these.
And sadly... This way of talking about history is nice and convinient, no matter how factually wrong it is. Because instead of having to explore historical society and what made people back then "tick", you can can do: "And then this one dude did this. And this other big dude did that." And done.
Before I knew about this theory, I already encountered it. In the way many German kids will encounter it. Nazi Germany. Because while we have this big thing going about "rememberance culture" and what not... Yeah, we mostly talk about Nazi Germany, as if Hitler and some of his dude friends, like Himmler and Göbbels, did stuff and nobody else could've done something about it. And we will talk about the few folks who tried to do something about it. This leaves many under the impression that actually Hitler and his fellow friends were subjucating the German populus, who were unable to do a thing about the Holocaust or the war. And that... Just is not how it played out in reality. Most people in Germany at the time supported Hitler, knew about the Holocaust and were A-Okay with it.
And this is something that happens again and again in the way we talk about history. We talk about the big dudes and whatever they did or didn't do. Either as heroes or as villains. But we leave out all the people who were there to either enforce their policies, suffer from it, or rise up against it.
This creates a version of history, in which 99,99999% of all people were basically just "NPCs" in a game played by the few. Which not only does wrong by this majority of people, who might as well have had a hand in some of the things happening, but it also is used as a constant propaganda tool. Be it to ignore, how many attrocities have been supported and partaken in by a lot of people, so folks today do not need to deal with that fallout. Or be it to ignore the man, who have fought for a better outcome - often to either make protest seem senseless, or to make those few great man seem more heroic. (See also: Basically any anti-colonialist movement that got erased from history.)
I am not even denying that those in power had a bigger influence on history than anyone else. But not because they were born with some traits that made it so, but for the most part, because they were born into power through their bloodline, or at least into riches.
And it does not mean that nobody else had an influence, even if we like to forget the "everyone else" usually.

NATLA Review - spoilers
Woke up today still feeling annoyed after finished the Netflix ATLA remake last night, and I think I've figured out the core reason.
It's the fact that: If they had held truer to the original source material, we could have had a truly great show. I disagree with those calling it a complete disaster. The acting was good, great in some cases. The effects were very well done, the bending looked about as good as it can in a live action media. The scenery was lovely.
But what happened in the writer's room?! The way they just reveal all the back stories up front EVERY TIME is honestly insulting to the audience. It's like they're so terrified that smartphone culture has made the public so accustomed to instant gratification that they have no faith we will stick around and keep watching if they make us wait for anything.
They're also clearly terrified of complexity. One of my biggest gripes with this remake is Jet's story. They completely took out his plans to murder a whole town of innocents in order to get a few enemy soldiers. Now, Jet isn't my favorite character, but his story is so important. Because it is real. The world is full of people who have been so brought down by injustice that they lose their sense of right and wrong, and we need to see that on screen. If Jet is too complex for them, how will they handle Ba Sing Se in the second season.
This goes along the same lines as removing Sokka's sexist moments. They felt they had to do it to make him more 'likable.' Yet the writers themselves went full sexist on Katara's character. They've taken out so much of her spark, her righteous and justified anger, and they've done it because even in 2024, people expect women to be more passive to be palatable. Enough people have already commented on them removing Aang's choice to run away. Heaven forbid the main character not be an absolute paragon. Did y'all notice that they even made Hahn likable? Hahn?! What reason do you have for making Hahn likable Netflix?! His role in the narrative is to be an example of toxic masculinity that is clearly the bad choice compared to Sokka who has learned and grown out of his own.
Don't even get me started with what they're doing with the fire nation family, I'm not ready to tackle that. In general, I have no problem with Azula getting a little more backstory and humanizing, but why season 1? Throwing in all these extra scenes just sacrifices screen-time where they could've actually fleshed out the real season one plots instead of rushing through things at breakneck pace. (ex: Aang escaping Zuko's ship in about 2 minutes flat)
At the end of the day, the scenes I most enjoyed were those that held true to the original like the Blue Spirit sequences. They could've easily done more of this, held onto the important plot points and even more important character complexity, while maturing it for an adult audience. I'm not disagreeing with every change they made. Go ahead and take out the silly Nickelodeon gags, add cussing and more realistic violence to get your mainstream viewers. Go ahead. They could've easily made a darker more mature version of the show and still held onto all the old fans in my opinion. But claiming that you're making a 'more mature' version and then removing the complexity and subtlety because they didn't think viewers could handle it...
What makes me most sad is that there are a lot of people who will experience ATLA for the first time through this show. There are a lot of adults who are not willing to watch original ATLA because they refuse to acknowledge an animated series can be anything other than a kid's show. Those people will watch this and think it's the real deal, and that just makes me sad.
If you've read this far, a very sincere thank you for listening to my rant. If you're an OG fan who enjoyed it, I have no problem with you. It was a fun watch, I was just hoping for more. If you are a new viewer who has never seen ATLA before, I sincerely want to hear your opinions. Is it a great show to someone who isn't holding it against the context of the original? And do you plan to watch the original now?

havent read the manga, why do manga fans hate the chainsaw man anime so much
I don't think it's hate as much as disappointment. Throw a rock and you'll hit someone that's already explained it in more depth than I am willing to put into words that have already escaped way too many lips.
You know how babies and puppies like their toys relatively unwashed? Because the scent reminds them of mom or familiarity or love or any other such sundry wonderful thing? It's the same principle: The anime is squeaky clean. No one with a pulse and with synapses firing off in their brains will tell you it looks bad in the traditional sense: It's gorgeous! It's incredibly well animated, dare I say some of the finest animation an anime from its time can achieve, especially given it's not even an OVA, it's a weekly series.
Were it most any other series, this would've been a home run, is the tragic part of it, tragic, yes, because you know those animators put a few years of their life span into Chainsaw Man. They could've saved this level of production for The Next Big Boring Isekai or some such. It would've done numbers, that's not even subjective.
But they had to grab exactly one of the few manga in which this runs counter to the appeal.
I have used Dorohedoro and Kengan Ashura as examples already. Look at this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now look at this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I grabbed a 'clean' manga panel vs a 'dirty' anime screenie for Dorohedoro, and the levels of grime and roughness on the manga panel still outdo the anime screenie forever. Look at the same kick in manga vs anime for Kengan Asura, it's so clean, so wimpy in the anime, whereas in the manga you're wondering how this man didn't get beheaded. The third manga panel is also another Kengan shot, added simply because I love it.
It's the same with Chainsaw Man. Too clean, too squeaky clean,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The shadows, the off-center framing, the clearly bizarre poise of the manga Makima vs the far less interesting, lithe anime Makima. This is but one of many examples.
It's not bad animation, not in the slightest. It's just missing an integral part of what makes Chainsaw Man so charming. Plus, CSM has a lot of incredibly clever techniques for panel framing, which, while it can translate to some degree with clever and good 'camera'work, it's ultimately not the same, especially when you lose something as foundational as the sheer fuzzy roughness of the source material.
There's more to be said, and again, CSM anime is not bad looking, it's wrong-looking.

note: yeah i needed to write the train scene from risky business with steve bye thanks for reading and enjoy ♥️
warnings: explicit smut, MINORS DNI, public-sex, sex on a train bby, gentle and tender banging, female reader, risking it all for him so it’s not beta read, loosely edited by me i try my best
Tumblr media
Steve's jeans were tighter than usual, the fabric of them pressing against him very uncomfortably and the only semi-relief was the vibrating of the train seat he sat on and the occasional, subtle brush of your hand over his bulge.
It had felt like hours, hours since you got on this train, since you whispered in his ear he needed to be patient if he wanted to do this. He wasn't sure how much longer he could last, every journey between each stop becoming longer than the first and his cock, stiff in his already tight jeans, was becoming borderline painful to have to sit with.
You were leaning against him, your head resting against his chest while his arm was on the back of your chair. Your hand was rubbing his thigh affectionately, as if to tell him wait a little longer...be patient...
There was one man left, sitting a few seats behind the two of you. Steve was very aware of his presence, but you seemed to care very little, turning to pepper kisses onto the side of his neck that sent a wave of arousal over Steve. It was how he could tell the next stop was coming soon, you had done it every time.
He tilted his head for you, releasing a hot hitch of his breath, but then his eyes moved toward the man. He had a staring problem, had one since you both boarded the train.
Steve tried to lean away from you, embarrassed and creeped out by the guy's intense stare, but you didn't let him. Rather, you started to kiss up his neck, then over his jaw, and then you were capturing his lips with yours. Steve melted into your kiss, eyes turning away from the man and fluttering closed as your mouth melded with his and he tasted your familiar peach flavored lip gloss.
This man better be getting off at the stop coming up, Steve wasn't sure he could last until the next one.
Luckily, the man did, but he was stumbling, clearly intoxicated, so Steve did what any good Samaritan would do and helped him out. If Steve could've tossed him out of the train, he probably would've, but he was more polite then that even when he feels like he's been edged for a few hours.
No, he helped the guy sit down, even placed the guy's jacket that fell over him to keep warm before he was practically sprinting to the finally empty train just as the doors closed.
You were standing, waiting for him. Your cardigan was already off, so you were only wearing a pretty floral printed dress that hung loosely on you. The moment Steve was back to you, he was holding your face and pulling you into a hot, and heavy kiss, one of which you returned tenderly, your glossy lips sliding against his with ease until you were licking into his parted lips.
"I told you you just needed to patient," you told him, voice still quiet as if anybody could hear you. Your foreheads placed together as he placed his hands onto your hips, feeling the heat radiating off of your skin from the thin material of your dress. He twisted you both around, falling onto the seat of the train as you stood in front of him, looking down at him with a sultry smile.
"It's so hard when you're practically feeling me up the entire time," he told you, voice deeper as his eyes moved from your face and to your chest, and his hands traveled lower, bunching up the skirt of your dress and feeling the warmth of your thighs.
His licked his lips, raising his hand underneath your dress until his hand came into contact with your center, feeling your warm and wet heat through your panties. You pressed your lips tightly together, breathing deeply through your nose and you reached down, gently clasping your hand underneath Steve's chin, making him tilt his head so he could look at you just as the train entered a tunnel.
Lights flashed over your face, your pretty, glossy lips in a small smile as your eyes told him what he needed to do. Steve whispered a soft curse as he reached upward, hooking his fingers in the band of your panties and starting to take them off of you.
When they were off, your hands were moving to his belt, grasping the buckle and leather of it until it came loose and he could only stare up at you as you meticulously undid his jeans too and dug your hand into his pants.
You wrapped your hand firmly around the girth of harden length, and he let out a sharp breath, eyes fluttering quickly, satisfied that he was finally being properly touched.
You pulled him out of his jeans, his cock hard and red, the tip already decorated with pre cum, begging to be touched some more, begging to be hugged by your tight cunt.
You were on top of him now, Steve's eyes becoming hooded as you made him look up at you again as you aligned his cock with your pussy, running the tip up and down your slick folds. His mouth fell open, quiet pants releasing from his parted, plump lips and he inhaled sharply when you started to sink down on top of him with ease.
Neither of you had said anything, your eyes just gazing at each other lovingly as the light continued to flash on your faces, and your hot breaths intertwining together.
His hands moved to your back, one grasping your lower back and the other between your shoulder blades, wanting to hold you steady as the vibrations of the train moving underneath you shook and jumped. It felt so good, even without you moving, and he held you tight against him enjoying this unique feeling as his cock deliciously stretched you out.
Then, you were taking control, your hands resting at the nape of his neck, fingers tugging at the soft strands of his brown hair, and you started to gently roll your hips. He exhaled deeply, face contorting pleasurably as you rode him slowly and tenderly, your walls tight and snug around his cock.
His brows became furrowed, his breaths coming out faster and head falling forward slightly. You moved your hands to his flushed face, grasping his cheeks and his chin as you bucked your hips faster and swifter. Steve grunted, leaning into your touch, his mind starting to swim with you and just you.
He wanted to say something to you, wanted to tell you how good you felt wrapped around him, but he found that he couldn't say anything, mesmerized with how you looked above him right now as you gently bounced on his cock, like you had all the time in the world and then some, like you weren't on a train and in the bedroom.
Your lips were still parted, and your eyes never left his, and never let his leave yours either, the hold on his face firm. He too started to forgot that you were fucking on a train, the sound becoming background noise as he focused on you and you only.
There was a particular bump on the track, causing Steve's body to bounce upward, his cock hitting deeper and harder inside of you and he let out a shattered moan, and you smiled at him before your hands left his face in favor of grasping the back of the train seat and one of the poles...almost as if you knew when to start riding him harder and faster.
Your movements became faster with the harsher track beneath you, and you threw your head backwards, baring your neck to Steve as his eyes finally danced over you, looking at your pretty neck, taking in your breasts that bounced with every movement. His hands moved to your hips now, grasping the flesh there above your dress.
He could swear he could hear the wetness of your cunt squelching around him even with the loud sound of the train as you rutted against him, your movements less sensual and a little more frantic. In fact, after he would notice that your juices had actually soaked the front of his jeans.
Your head was falling forward again, leaning down so that your eyes were aligned with his again as he stared up at you.
Now he could hear you, and you sounded so fucking beautiful too, saying his name softly and sweetly. You wanted him to come right inside of you on this train, you wanted to walk out of here with your panties being the only thing keeping him dripping down your inner thighs, you wanted him to finger you with his cum still stuffed deep inside of you when you got home, you wanted to feel him for fucking days-
Your words were filthy, and Steve fucking loved it, his hips stuttering upwards the best they could, chasing that high, wanting to give you what you wanted and it wasn't very hard, especially with your pleas and hot breath hitting his face with every heavy pant from your lips.
He captured his bottom lip between his teeth, feeling himself get right to the edge and when you pushed down on him, your walls squeezing Steve's thick cock and fluttering around him, he was done for.
He held you down on him tighter, his body shaking as he finally came, his cock pumping his cum inside of you just like you wanted. One of your hands was back on the back of his head, fingers running through his hair, and you pulled him forward to kiss him, swallowing his moans and grunts that came with his well deserved orgasm.
"Fuck fuck..." Steve said against your lips, leaning in to kiss you again before saying, "God, I fucking love you."
You grinned sweetly at him, still sitting on his softening cock and you said with a sharp tug of his hair, "I love you more."

24hrs since i read Iron Flame and I'm still thinking about it!! so much happened in this book that I feel like I read three books in one and I loved it so much even if the ending had me screaming and wishing I had the next book already!!
Spoilers (and my thoughts) under the cut!
Xaden and Violet in this one were perfect in their flaws and I love how hard they worked on their relationship! If they are not endgame by the end of this series I will find my own dragon just to set the whole series on fire. The fact that they had such limited time together and usually had to choose whether to fight/argue over their issues or just be together was so sad and frustrating so I was glad when Xaden finally made them have the tough conversations. Their protectiveness of each other is so sweet and don't even get me started on Xaden coming to rescue Violet from Basgiath because I was deceased reading it. Also the scene with the throne *smirky face* "my house. my chair. my woman." Damn straight Xaden, say it louder for the people in the back. I will not let the ending deter me. They will find a cure of Xaden. They just have to. Like they can speak in each other's minds, that is soulmate stuff right there. They have to be end game. Also the reveal about Xaden's second signet had me screaming.
Tairn and Andarna were hilarious and the reveal about Andarna at the end also has me eagerly waiting for the next book. Their bond with Violet is so cute (and funny). They really are just Grumpy Dad, Eldest Daughter, Baby Sister energy.
Violet and her squad, particularly, Rhiannon, Ridoc, and Sawyer are the definition of found family and I love how loyal they are to each other. I also loved the addition of the new characters, Sloane and Aaric and adored more page time for Jesinia.
I'm meh about Dain's redemption arc. I don't hate it but I'd be fine if it wasn't there. I am glad he chose Violet's side in the end and that he accepted her and Xaden instead of trying to become between them. I'd say this book made me hate Dain 60% less but I still wouldn't care if he died.
Love that the Sorrengail siblings are back together!! i do think more could've been done with their mum but I did like her ending, sacrificing herself for her children and country. I do think it also could have been interesting material for the next book for her to have gone against Melgren's orders or something and have to seek shelter in Aretia where she would've had to confront her decisions and the pain they caused - not to mention deal with the anger Brennan has towards her. I think it would've been more impactful if the relationship between her and her children was explored a little more before killing her off as her death didn't really hit me as hard as it should've. The only scenes we ever really got of the Sorrengail siblings and their mum were all relatively negative, always arguing or disagreeing about something so it felt slightly realistic how devastated Violet and Mira were at her death.
All in all loved this book but literally so much happened in it that I'm glad I don't have the next one at my fingertips just to give me time to process and reread before the next one does come out. I'm really excited to see where the story goes and I loved the little hints of things that are obviously going to be addressed in the next one!!

This week is gonna be full on, The Loki finale is going to determine not just the fate of one of my most favorite marvel characters but also the fates of two of the most contested shippings in this show, Lokius and the very controversial and unliked shipping Sylki. Also the Marvels is also being released a day after the finale.
I have already spoken about how much I do not like Sylki and why this forced romance should've never be brought into existence. In my previous posts talking about S1, I haven't spoken much about S2 and I wanna make my final two sense about what I think is going to happen and what i want to see happen for the finale of Loki. Let's go
What do I think of S2 so far, well I did say I was very hesitant to watch S2 after that shitstorm of a finale, and so far it has been okay but not as ground breaking as i thought it would get, that was until episode 4 with that shocker ending that is. And every scene with Loki and Mobius was just picture perfect and damn entertaining to see. Lokius was definitely on full swing in this season and I will take as much if it as I can, especially since i don't believe these two will get together like so many of us want them to
Sylvie in this season was almost unbearable to watch, again I am not saying Sophia de Martino is bad as an actress but the material she was given this entire serie doesn't make me want to like her character Sylvie, it is clear she still has 0 remorse for her past actions, is taking no accountability for all the chaos she has singlehandedly caused, and finally she treats Loki and the other TVA members like pure shit.
Sylvie is literally a child stuck in the body of an adult, she didn't get the chance to live a normal life like Loki and their other variants and well most other people, making them mentally stunted, she is far more impulsive and reckless then our Loki, and like I said before far more narcissistic then even our Loki, due to her lack of accountability, remorse or care for what she has done and her wanted to put the blame on others ie Loki. She proved that they as a Loki variant were only made with one purpose, to destroy and cause chaos, allowing others to become greater versions of themselves ie The Avengers, and to be alone forever.
She's only barely begun her healing journey and even still wanted to run away from the problems she started in the first place by killing he who remains. That was only until she registered that the multiverse was infact in danger and that she had to fix the mistakes she caused and reluctantly came back. And she is definitely in no position to be in any sort of romantic relationship with anyone, especially themselves as a male presenting variant.
None of the scenes with them together could be considered romantic in my eyes, they were just arguing, with Sylvie not listening to anything loki says, I will however appalled her for saying she doesn't see herself as a god, she doesn't have that God complex that Thor and Loki have, Thor doesn't see themselves like that anymore especially after going to omnipotence city and meeting all the universe's most powerful deities. They themselves can still die, they ain't completely immortal and all powerful. Like Odin says they ain't Gods, they live and die like mortals, with Loki saying "give or take 5,000 years"
Loki's development in this season was okay to me, again his redemption story was rushed for too quickly and could've seen Loki develop alot more and go through all his problems and how to overcome his past trauma and learn from it. Him becoming the God of Stories was not unexpected in my eyes, I knew as soon as this series was made Loki would get the glow up and powerboast he so desperately needed and deserved, as much as I didn't like how that development from being evil to becoming a full on proper God literally in control of all of time I am very happy that Loki will be getting his Wanda becoming The Scarlet Witch moment, even if it is not as grand or cool as her transformation in the sky.
What I want to see in the finale:
Loki getting his wanda becoming The Scarlet Witch moment.
Loki being able to see his family again if it is only in the form of seeing Thor again.
Learning that Thor is actually still alive and go out and find him.
Lokius or at least him and Mobius sticking together and Mobius decided not to leave Loki behind and becoming his partner in time.
Sylvie getting her happy ending, by Loki bringing back her reality allowing her to go back or Sylvie joining Loki and Mobius as partners in time taking care of time. As friends and not romantic partners.
Mobius getting to ride his jetski, LET THE MAN RIDE THAT JETSKI
Show us how powerful Loki is and can be. No more boring green blasts, Loki's potential for being great and powerful can be achieved just show it.
What I don't want to see in the finale
Sylki
Mobius going back to his reality without Loki
Loki dieing or forced to be alone
That was very long thank you for reading this far of you have and let's hope and pray that nothing too bad happens again I am very scared that the worse will happen that's why I will be holding back from watching the finale untill we are given to all clear that Sylki hasn't happened, if it doesn't happen then i will consider that to be all good and I will then watch it.
One more thing I want to talk about, since that final trailer for The Marvels came out today I have been freaking out over the unexpected appearance of Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, since those two have only technically met once on screen in Endgame at the final battle. And especially since Valkyrie was clearly talking to her in one split scene, they have clearly met up since probably meeting for the first time in Endgame, that just got my nerves running and all the Carol and Valkyrie fans have been popping up at the moment, I swear if they allow Carol and Valkyrie to get together in this film but not get two middle age men in a homosexual relationship in loki then I will cause a riot. Because that shows what's the problem with Marvel, Disney and the film industry as a whole at the moment.

i'm really curious why you dislike the comics? /genq /nm
ooooh the dreaded question. i can get really passionate about this (i care too much) so i'm going to be as brief and simple as i can. i'm aware many people enjoy the comics and that's fine. /gen you do you. like i said; i care too much
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: we have no clue how much time or dedication was given to the comics by valve; the poor writing isn't necessarily the fault of the writers and i have no personal beef with them! with that said, old man yells at cloud /ref under read more/keep reading.
the two main gripes i have with the comics are lack of planning and tone problems.
as i already said, the lack of planning- and therefore the poor writing- does not mean the comic team was incompetent (the art is quite good a lot of the time, actually), but this does mean it severely hurts the quality of the comics themselves. it's clear they aren't sure where they're taking this (as evident by whatever the fuck is going on with helen) and what the story is even supposed to mean. the tone goes hand in hand with the poor planning; the comics aren't sure whether they want to be purely comical and action-focused or a DARK comedy; having serious moments and themes in the story.
in the end, the serious moments come off as either manipulative (iykyk. i am not getting angry about this for 40 minutes again) or as if they're being made fun of (cough cough sniper).
they also struggle to really build up those moments, so sometimes it feels as if they just came out of nowhere. it's really jarring.
there's also just. not a lot of conflict between the main cast?? there isn't a lot of pressure put on pauling from the mercs via questioning her actions, etc. (we only slightly get this from spy. but like once) (i get that it's to show how much trust they have in her but, really? not a single thing?) (this could build up to like. a "grand betrayal" sort of thing but yknow. they didnt think about the build up to anything)
this is why i think making it JUST the RED team really hurts the story- they already have set dynamics and don't need to develop or sort through any conflicts they have with one another. medic only has conflict with sniper of all people. MEDIC. who went to join another team which was actively hunting his previous one.
the comics introduce conflict and new dynamics by straight up making up new characters?? as much as i love zhanna- she was primarily put into the story just to be soldier's love interest and have a fun dynamic with him.... i'm so sorry miss.
they could've done that with demo btw?? since demo and soldier are supposed to be friends?? unless actually the team differences DO matter (which the comics do not make clear at all, engie is randomly blue while the rest are red. okay. why? wouldn't you like to know.) so red soldier and red demo dont bounce off of eachother as much as blu soldier and red demo do.
i'm not formatting this at all but remember the poor planning? ahem. sniper timeline. why did you make him barely 30. i will fucking kill you he was always clearly meant to be, look, and sound like an old man. its in his concept art its in how he talks. raghghgh
they keep giving themselves problems by adding new characters cause then the main fucking mercs who people adore get no time for themselves (demo, pyro, scout, engie) they're just kinda......there. it sucks. but it's what we got, i guess. just how canon the comics are is questionable- but i don't care if they are.
it's free real estate i'm doing my own thing!!!!!!!!!!! fuck around find out!!!!! be gay do crime!!!!!!! *gets arrested by valve for tampering with copyrighted material*
anyways, after all that negativity; shoutout to the only stuff i enjoyed from the comics: pauling, heavy, the art. goob byeeeeeeee

Frozen
*screeches in delight* Ok so I just finished the TSS masterlist (also please add me to the taglist) and at least in the past, you did literal interpretations of sayings. My question is, does this apply to fight/flight/freeze or brain freeze, and if so, do you have the spoons to write a fic? - diamond-blade
So I just saw this post (do links work in asks? It’s by orbmanson7), and now I want a Logan angst fic where the other sides literally silenced him. Or just any Logan angst, I’m not picky! - anon
Read on Ao3
Warnings: paralysis
Pairings: gen
Word Count: 2284
Out of all of the ways he envisioned the argument ending, this wasn't one of them.
"Look, if we could all just get on the same page—"
"Same page? You're on a different chapter, Pocket Protector!" Roman throws his hands up. "Matter of fact, a different book! A different library!"
"There really is no need to be so dramatic."
"No—no need?" Roman splutters. "What do you think my job is?"
"It's not to be a constant nuisance!"
"I dunno," Virgil mutters, "could've fooled me."
"Oh, like you can talk!"
"Now, now, everyone—" Patton raises his hands in what is supposed to be a placating manner— "let's stop with all the name-calling and just settle down."
"Oh, I haven't even started name-calling."
"I think the point was to pre-empt any name-calling you may have done," Logan points out, pinching the bridge of his nose.
There really was no reason for this argument to spiral out of control so much. It was simply to decide whether Thomas would spend the day writing—as he had planned for the week and had already declined other weekend activities for, he had expressed multiple times that he wanted to write and in fact, missed it—or whether he would accept the invitation for coffee from someone he'd met a few days earlier.
Logan, of course, had maintained that they decline. They had plans, they had projects, ones that Roman himself had been advocating they work on.
Roman, however, being as fickle as he always is, had the prospect of romance figuratively waved under his nose and he'd been derailed faster than—well, a train derailing.
"Logan's got a point, Princey, you're the one who's been pushing for us to do the projects for like, a month." Virgil leans back against the stair rail. "You realize that this is likely the only time Logan's gonna be agreeing with you on…anything for the next year, right?"
"Logan, on average, how long does 'getting coffee' normally take?"
"Well, based on most estimates the actual act of procuring the coffee takes about five to ten minutes depending on the density of the other customers, extending to forty minutes if during peak rush hours—"
"You know what I meant."
"—but the act of 'getting coffee' in a romantic setting normally lasts at least an hour."
Roman gestures emphatically. "One hour! One hour! We can spare one hour from our busy day of writing to go and get coffee with someone."
"Interrupting your creative process has rarely shown such productivity. Additionally, it is unlikely that it will remain one hour when you account for travel time."
"Aren't you the one who's always advocating for healthy scheduling and taking breaks? I seem to recall a lengthy conversation with both you and Janus about pacing myself." Roman gestures at the door. "This is a way for me to take a break! For all of us to take a break!"
Virgil snorts. "Speak for yourself, Princey. Both you and I are gonna be on the clock."
"Plus—" Roman points at Patton— "the other day you and I were talking about how I need more inspiration! Because we decided that going on quests in the Imagination wasn't good enough, so I need new material! This is how I get new material!"
Patton falters and inwardly, Logan curses. If Roman can get Patton on his side…then the argument is as good as over.
"You also have a tendency to get distracted very easily by new things," he points out, "and it is likely that you will become so preoccupied with fantasies about this new potential suitor that you will lose all motivation or inspiration to work on these projects."
Virgil hums, pointing at him. "He's got a point."
"…he does, kiddo."
Roman makes an affronted noise, all but wilting. "Come on, this'll be good for Thomas!"
"Good for Thomas," Logan asks, "or good for you?"
"What's the difference?"
"Well," he continues, adjusting his glasses, "what's good for Thomas can also be working on these projects he's been letting sit and stagnate for almost a month now to help appease his Anxiety and maintain a consistent level of productivity."
He raises an eyebrow.
"And it allows more than one of us to take 'center stage,' if you will."
"I appreciate the theater reference, but come on, I'm asking you for an hour! Two, tops!"
"We've kinda already set this day aside for you, Roman," Patton says warily, "you—don't you think you're getting a little greedy?"
There are points, Logan has realized, where, in hindsight, he can label them as the moments where the nosedives begin. And while he will grant both Roman and himself the respect to admit they'd been somewhat antagonistic towards each other, Patton's remark had…well.
"Greedy?" Roman draws himself up. "Excuse me, what exactly am I being greedy about?"
"We have already decided this day shall be for writing. That means that you will be the one who is 'in charge,' so to speak, or at the very least your connection to Thomas will be prioritized." Logan gestures around at the others. "However, as Thomas's creative process revolves around us as well, as characters he has created and such, that means we shall also have a part to play, even if yours is disproportionate to ours."
"Okay—"
"However," Logan continues as Roman tries to interrupt him, "if you choose instead to go on this…coffee date—"
"I didn't say it was a date!" Roman holds up a proclamatory finger. "Let the record show I never said it was a date."
"That's kinda what you implied, though," Virgil muttered.
"—if you choose to go," Logan says, speaking over them, "then it will very much be a 'one-man show,' if you will, save for the occasional inputs you deign to allow the rest of us."
"Except me," Virgil adds, "you get no say in that matter."
"So, yes, Roman." Logan crosses his arms. "Trying to force an activity where you have more of a say could be considered greedy."
Roman splutters, looking back and forth as if expecting someone to deny it. When no one does, he puffs himself up and clears his throat. "I am trying to ensure Thomas gets adequate socialization and continues to meet new people! I-if anything, it's Logan who's being greedy for insisting we stick to his strict schedule!"
"Oh, god."
"Roman…"
Logan draws himself up too. "I have at least taken the time and care to make sure that everyone is content with the schedule, whereas you—"
"I"m not content with it! In case that is very much unclear—"
"—insist on blundering through things as you always do and expecting everyone else to cater to your needs—"
"—no, I am not happy with it. And you're the one who insists I have only 0.5% of any given day, were you just looking for an excuse to—"
"—without realizing that we have to work together. I understand that might be a difficult concept for you to grasp—"
"—shut me out? Oh, and here we go again, el principe es estupido, is that the only insult you have?"
"—but I assure you it is a worthwhile endeavor. Perhaps if you were capable of seeing beyond yourself—"
"I don't know how to put other people first? Why do you think I've let this project be pushed off so much, because none of you—"
"—then you might realize that the world does not, in fact, revolve around you and whatever you think is important—"
"—seem to think it's worth doing even though it's Thomas's source of income! You don't understand how hard it is to—"
"—and since you clearly cannot afford even the basic respect of listening to me and letting me speak uninterrupted, then clearly you are not capable of considering the fact that you are not—"
"Shut up!"
—worth having this argument with, is what Logan would say, or perhaps even don't tell me to shut up!
What he ends up saying is nothing.
Nothing at all.
Which is, of course, because he has been frozen.
His arms go rigid at his sides. His lungs refuse to inflate. His eyes begin to water from their inability to blink. His mouth dries up and he stands there, hangs there, freezes there as something horribly cold and deadly seeps into him.
I can't move. I can't move. I can't move.
An interesting thing about pain; pain requires functioning nerves. If you can't feel anything, then you can't feel pain. But if you can't feel pain, then you can't tell when something is wrong. And if you can't tell when something is wrong, you can't tell when it's getting worse.
Mouth open, one hand slightly raised, his weight imperfectly balanced on one leg because he'd been in the middle of shifting, Logan freezes in place. He looks at his hand and for a moment, he doesn't quite recognize that it's his hand because he can't feel it. He can't move it. He can only stare at this thing a few inches in front of him that looks like a hand that used to belong to him.
Then he remembers he can't scream.
"What the fuck did you do?"
"Logan? Logan, are you okay?"
"What the fuck did you do, Roman?"
"I don't know! I didn't—I don't know, I've never done this before!"
"Well, fucking undo it then!"
"I don't know how! I don't—don't shut up! Talk, Logan, say something! Move!"
"It's not working!"
"I can see that it's not working!"
"L, L, you gotta move, you gotta—come on, bud, you gotta."
"Un-shut up! Anti-shut up! Move again! Undo whatever I just did! I take it back!"
"That's not working either!"
"Fuck—I'm sorry, Logan! I didn't mean it, I just got angry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
"Roman, I swear to god, if you can't fix this—"
"Unfreeze!"
Logan gasps, sensation flooding back into his body so quickly it's almost painful. He collapses into a heap as blood rushes through him, pounding so heavily in his ears that it's almost deafening. His hands—his hands, he can move them now—scream with pain as he clenches and unclenches them, his muscles trying slowly to reacclimate to moving, to feeling, to being unfrozen.
"Easy, bud," comes Virgil's low voice, "in for five, okay? One…two…three…four…five. Good, good job. Hold now…"
He lets Virgil walk him through a breathing exercise until he can breathe normally. He looks up and nods when Virgil gives him a quiet you okay?
"Logan, kiddo? You okay, sweetheart?"
"Yes…yes, I think so."
"Go slow, okay," Virgil warns as he starts to stand up again, "you just gotta go slow."
Standing is…challenging, but he manages. The whole ordeal had lasted barely a minute and now that he's able to move again, the panic fades and he can start to function once more. He takes a few more deep breaths to steady himself before he looks around.
Patton is hovering, concern written plainly all over his face. Virgil is next to him, there if he needs to grab onto his shoulder or sink out. Roman is—
Roman is standing on the other side of the room, his hands held over his mouth in horror. There are tears on his face.
"I'm sorry, Logan," he whispers, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it, I didn't even know I could do that, I—are you okay?"
"Yes," and surprisingly, he is, "I'm alright now. I would…appreciate if that didn't happen again."
"No, no, of course, I won't—I won't do it again. I promise."
"Thank you."
Roman nods, his hands finally moving away from his face. He swallows and draws himself up, although this time it's far more similar to a child trying to save face than an arrogant prince. "I, um…we can…I'll be ready to write on Saturday."
"That would be great, thank you."
"Do you…need or want anything else right now?"
He pauses, considering, before slowly reaching out for him. Roman balks, confusion and fear warring on his features before he slowly crosses the room to let Logan grab onto him.
"You're the warmest," Logan mumbles, lurching forward to hug him—only it ends up being more like leaning his entire weight on Roman while Roman holds him up— "I'm still cold."
"Oh, of—of course." Roman wraps his arms carefully around him and Logan hums. "Would—do you want to sit on the couch?"
"Mm."
"…was that a 'yes?'"
"Yes."
Roman helps him carefully over to the couch as Virgil and Patton pull out the coffee table to make room for everyone's limbs. Logan turns his face against Roman's shoulder and closes his eyes.
"I'm going to sleep here now."
"Okay." Roman adjusts his grip so he won't get a strain in his neck. "I really am sorry, Logan."
"I know." He blinks up at him. "We can't do Saturday, but maybe…we may be able to do Sunday?"
Roman smiles. "We can talk about it later. You should sleep now."
And so he does.

A SONG FOR THEM.
Type: Headcannons + Scenario
Inarizaki x Fem!Singer!Reader (Whole Team)
Summary: You're a singer, and from a popular girl band. Sometimes, you just don't know how to express gratitude for your friends and so instead, write a song dedicated to them.
No Warnings! But Just Cursing From Me.
Tumblr media
Inarizaki:
Feral bitches alert, get your tasers ready.
Jk– anyways, basically at first they didn't know you were a singer because you never really openly sang to anyone.
...Or did so in general because you want to surprise your team. You've had a pretty hard time expressing your own emotions through words, like some other people.
And boom! One day came the thought of like...
"Why don't i just write some lyrics and make a song dedicated to them?" No shit sherlock could've done that like two weeks ago smh– 😒
ANYWAYS...so it took lots of time but you managed to get help from your bandmates to finish doing the song.
Ugh they're such good friends mine could never
And by 'it took lots of time' i mean in a week. I'm an impatient hoe leave me be *sobs* 😭
First of all, before the day of the surprise performance you texted Kita the night before and told him and the team to get to the gym early because of an "announcement".
He was confused on why you didn't just tell the GC but we just want to see them honestly /j
The moment morning came, you and your material gworls bandmates set up your shit and all that before the boys had arrived first.
Congrats, you made it just in time before Kita came.
Manz is NEVER LATE. Periodt 👏
He was looking at the music equipment like "who tf is gon' use all of this during volleyball practice"–
Boi not everything in gym is centered about you and your musty crusty team 🤡 jk i love you guys most. If you don't believe me look at my username.
The moment the rest finally arrived, the cue had started. Definitely not Suna immediately taking his phone out–
Nah actually he gon' take a video. You better prepare.
So now let's talk about their reactions...Kita may actually be the most emotional one to me for some reason. People say he's not much of a person for expression but..
HE LOVES YOU SO IT'S OKAY BABES 😍 okay lol i'll stop so let me just say it. You know that scene in S4 where Kita cries after getting his team jersey? Yep.
He looked like that. His eyes were ready to make waterfalls. But how you ask?
Ah, here we go. Of course you make meaningful lyrics.
And Kita was very touched by them. And because of that, manz was the first to realize the song was for them.
He's like, "You made this for us...? Oh. I'd have never thought you think of us that way" while close to tears I'M SUCH A DAMN SIMP UGH 😫
Aran's totally just looking at the scene while "👁👄👁" is just written all over his face lmao like rlly? You??
He's just gonna be shocked when you hit the high notes.
You're perfection to me shawty, whoever says otherwise shall face the wrath of the daddy captains– and no fr stop saying you aren't you're more than enough <3
So back to the boys, Suna's definitely just recording. Yep, i really can't leave that out.
Though you can actually see a small smile forming from his mouth because damn you so pretty up there 💞
Onto Atsumu and Osamu...oh boy.
If you don't like being cat called or disturbed in the middle of performances, you're gonna hate them /j
"LOOKING HOT BBY!" "FUCK OFF TSUMU CAN'T YOU SEE YOU'RE RUINING THE MOOD–"
Ah yes, the daily life of the Miya Twins ft. (Y/N) 💀
Omimi and Akagi just looking there, awestruck and love filled in their eyes damn i love them shdisishsjksks
Anyways, so the moment you finally get off stage, you are gonna be swarmed with men. Congrats, they're already part of your harem but you made them simp even more ✨️
Compliments coming from the twins, Kita looking at you thinking of a hundred ways to ask you of marriage–
It's getting too obvious i like him isn't it...it's true tho, he prob would be thinking of that lol.
Anyways, i hope you enjoy your fox boy harem 🦊💘
BONUS: Because the were mesmerized as hell by your band's performance they're thinking of recruiting your bandmates for their team theme song during matches.
Haha yeah, good luck dealing with that, main vocalist.
Scenario Time!
(Please listen to the song if you want! And read the english lyrics after if you want to know how emotional it is *wink*)
"I LOVE YOU!"
"Tsumu, i swear if you don't shut the fuck up.."
The sounds of booming music was heard from the gym, the calming sound of the bass along with the melodious sound of the keyboard right in tow. You were right inside– singing and conveying your feelings to the audience you had gathered.
'Even if my heart froze over, you would always be there to embrace me and tell me, "it will be okay".'
From behind his phone's screen, Suna sticks his tongue out at the twins fighting. "Hear that? I always comfort (Y/N) when she's lonely more than you two." This ticks them off. Atsumu glares right at the pussy hair boy, seemingly jealous.
"Shush, Suna!"
This keeps going on and on until the moment Kita finally tells them to stop. He just wants to hear your beautiful voice and nobody else's. Just– let him have a moment.
'And believe the world will change, it's so filled with kindness. So much that tomorrow will be dazzling, too.'
Aran had nearly begun sobbing. "What a good hearted girl." He quietly praises while watching you stand right up in front of the stage, with the biggest smile on your face as you sang.
"Can she be mine?" Akagi deadpans, stars almost coming out of his eyes. I'm afraid to tell you that you gotta get in line, (Y/N)'s already got these other boys–
...
It was done, the sounds of the instruments began to fade and you look to your team, soft expression never fading once. It was that time on that they had known you would never leave them, because with those lyrics alone, you definitely chose to stay.
Clapping. You wanted to hear that most. Because you tried hard to confess– maybe a bit too hard just thinking about the song, but it was worthwhile to see some of the boys's rare smiles.
Ah yes...both sides agree it was a real blessing to have you on their team. No take backs.
The song may have been short, but the time you'll be spending together with them will live on forever. They don't need the memories, but sometimes, exceptions can also matter.

I'm finally catching up with the manga for Vinland Saga because the season 2 material overall is just ridiculously solid, but I'm also always sad when a great story defaults to old, uninteresting tropes that I think could fairly easily be avoided.
After episode 18 of season 2 I decided to finally pick up the manga to see what happens next (so spoilers here) – and, yes, as is easy to assume, Arnheid dies.
It "makes sense" that she dies in context, but so few stories seem able to avoid this trope of killing the cool female character to make you sad and the more it is done, the older it gets to me.
And the biggest issue to me here is that I feel like you absolutely could've made the same narrative point without killing her.
As far as I know Ketil and his farm, Einar, Arnheid or almost anyone else in this arc aren't even historical. Thorfinn, Leif and Canute are the only characters to currently have the most historical backing.
Vinland Saga is a hyper-dramatised narrative combining history and the fantastical Icelandic sagas and it usually does a good job balancing the historical and fictional aspects of the setting, but the discussion of "realism" within these types of stories is always interesting to have.
Thorkell can throw Thorfinn against trees and long distances in the air, breaking countless bones and he survives and is fine through so much hurt, yet the story can't bring itself to have Ketil hit Arnheid a few times less or just a little less hard or even have Snake interrupt a few moments earlier, so she could at least recover.
I only made it to her death scene right now and it almost even made me tear up. (I think I probably will cry when it happens in the anime.)
It's a well-written scene in isolation, but there is also an element of strange thematic disconnect to have the characters directly tell you the very solid reasons she could have been kept alive on the narrative level.
She could've found new hope and a new life travelling with Thorfinn and Einar and be one of the women joining them on the ship to their journey to Vinland.
The whole arc was about Thorfinn finding/rediscovering (new) meaning to live, so why couldn't have Arnheid?
It's the first time I've taken issue with the actual writing of the story, which is fairly impressive (took almost 2 whole seasons) – any issues I had prior to this were fairly minor (pacing with Canute's arc, for example), but this really bothered me because the narrative literally kept none of the reasons to write Arnheid out, either.
Her previous husband (and child) already died. Leif gave money for her and aside from that, Ketil seems to be heading to be captured, dead himself or simply surrender to the king and stay where he is.
(We'll see where that goes.)
Einar, Thorfinn and Leif are now free men and have no beef with Canute and even if they were to run into issues with him, Arnheid would have little to do with it.
And even if they all survive and at one point give chase, I think Ketil, Thorgil or Snake could be taken on by Thorfinn and Einar.
My point is, it feels like killing Arnheid was writing a sad scene for the sake of writing a sad scene.
I think tragedy works when it has backing. And I think this has some character backing (her rejoining her husband, additional motivation for Thorfinn and Einar), but I think at this point not much thematic backing or even plot backing.
People often say characters deserve better simply because they like them, but I think Arnheid absolutely not just deserved better because she was a cool character, but because she deserved better writing backing her character.
It's so strangely jarring to me because I think the story has been so good otherwise.
I know at least one other important female character should show up to be a mainstay if the story keeps to history and that character should be there to stay up to the end, but it's also a bummer that the first female character in the story with any depth got such a jarring ending.
I'll hear the story out (I'm currently at chapter 93) because this is still right after Arnheid died, but I really doubt there could be any reason the story could give me that'll make her death feel less like shock value.

beyblade burst manga review (arc 2)
so I finished the second valt arc of the manga last night (the part of the manga that would be adapted into the second season) and it was uuuuuh, ok i guess? LOL
look, morita's illustrations are really fun and oftentimes really good and his layouts and paneling are perfectly passable, but his scripting and writing are really really mediocre. I legitimately think it's a testament to the anime staff that we got the first two anime seasons as good as they were considering the source material.
for one thing, the manga's story is paced horribly. it jumps from battle to battle with basically no downtime in between and you get almost no time to just sit with what's happening. this creates a massive issue when morita wants to create tension or wants to write something that's emotionally impactful. (tbf, some of this may be because of the format of corocoro's monthly releases and/or the demands of takara tomy but it's really hard to say.)
additionally, character arcs are either flat or non-existent. for example, free in the manga literally never leaves bc sol. he's there for the entire arc doing nothing but being slightly mysterious and condescending and to be a thematic foil to valt (which he's really bad at up until the last like 1/4 of the story). we don't get any sense that he genuinely loves his team and will do anything if he thinks it's what's best for them. no sense that he's emotionally closed off due to his unwillingness to communicate with the people around him. no tension from the implications of his absence. he's just sitting there. being super strong and intimidating and condescending to everyone around him. they do give him a somewhat interesting trait, that being some form of like rage mode or emotional instability (the gross thing where he gets all veiny) that's glossed over quite a bit in the anime. yeah it's similar to the anime but it really isn't the same imo, and I think he could've been an even stronger character if they'd leaned into it more in the anime in addition to what was already written. that being said, morita doesn't do enough with it in the manga for it to be much more than what amounts to a gimmick.
silas has this issue too where he joins bc sol, wins some battles, and helps valt train like once. that's his character arc. they don't show him bonding with the team and learning to open up to them and care for them, it's a simple one and done "yeah ig I'll help you train lol." and it wasn't even during the world league, it was literally right before valt's final battle with shu.
shu's arc is mostly intact, but it isn't nearly as strong because we just don't get time to sit with him as a character and to really understand his struggle.
and this issue of flat or non-existent character arcs is only compounded by the first problem.
I can't even say I'm all that surprised or frustrated though. the first arc of the manga had similar issues, I just didn't talk about them at length because the first season of the anime, while a lot stronger than its manga counterpart, still wasn't even close to as strong as the second season.
at least that's what I would say, if it weren't for a few particular moments in the manga.
I've mentioned the poor pacing, flat writing, and mediocre scripting of the manga, and that's all true for the most part.
but there's this moment. the night before valt's battle with shu, free approaches valt who's still up late training. valt tells him he's afraid and they talk about how shu and spriggan requiem are terrifyingly strong opponents, and you get a sense that valt is really going up against impossible odds. but after saying spriggan requiem is the ultimate bey, free looks at valt and his expression softens. and he tells valt he can beat him.
Tumblr media
this scene does not exist in the anime. it's well-scripted, well-written, and well-executed. it's a tender moment in a sea of constant, non-stop action.
there's some more examples of similar moments. they're brief flashbacks of shu and valt. here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and these are the reason I'm so frustrated with the manga. morita shows his best not during moments of heightened emotions or action, but when he's really focusing in on character dynamics and relationships. so if we can get moments like this once or twice in the manga, why in the world can we not get them consistently thorughout it.
but yeah, the arc was alright. if you're an anime only, I can't really say you're missing out on much, at least not so far.
I'll continue reading through the manga and telling you all my thoughts!

tlou episode 6 thoughts!!
- i love the introduction of joel's interrogation tactic ("your answers better match up") being used in a relatively low stakes, chill situation. i hope this scene was a little taste of what's to come, rather than a replacement for the scene we'll see later. (also I loved that couple's dynamic!! so much was shown in so few lines of dialogue)
- ellie with the whiskey omg riley reference??
- holy shit the tension of that scene with the dog was impeccable. my heart seriously skipped a beat when the dog barked
- the reunion with tommy was even more emotional than in game, and i love that they're already living in the established jackson area! it means there are so many little references for players to notice
- "just because life stopped for you doesn't mean it has to stop for me" 😭
- when joel thought he saw sarah :((( and the fact that it happened immediately after talked about sarah and had a little panic attack from the grief. everything that's happening with ellie is bringing up so many emotions and they're all portraying it SO PERFECTLY
- i loved the scene between maria and ellie. in the game, we know maria is the one who tells her about sarah, but we never see it happen. i looooved being able to see ellie's reaction to that.
- "i'm failing in my sleep. it's all i do. it's all i've ever done." FUUUUUUCK just kill me 😭
- tommy and maria expecting a baby fits thematically and i'm very curious to see how that plays into part two / season 2. no spoilers for anyone who hasn't played it but i'm excited to see if there's some crossover between their baby and a future character
- the giraffe poster watching joel while he says he's not her dad. liar liar pants on fire! also i think it was a smart decision to not have ellie run away (it works in the game but would only be a waste of time in the show) and instead to have her say that she overheard the conversation earlier. great adaptation of existing material
- but i do think the scene where ellie and joel decide to go together felt a little rushed as a result of the aforementioned change. on one hand i like how quick it is, because they've both done all the thinking they need to do on their own, so it's only matter of saying "yes". but at the same time it felt a little blink-and-you-miss-it. it's also a very quick decision in the game, but it comes after an arduous bout of gameplay, so it doesn't feel so rushed. i'll have to chew on this one some more!
- i'm so glad they didn't make the jackson folks be the cannibals like some people were theorizing
- "you gonna shoot this thing or get it pregnant?" made me laugh so loud omg
- i'm a little disappointed we didn't get any environmental storytelling about the students at the college. the whole section being crammed into the last 20 minutes was... an interesting choice. i know most of that part of the game is just exploration & gameplay, but i feel the show had a unique chance to explore what the students went through after the outbreak that was only hinted at in notes. it had a lot to say about humanity and community and it could've been a neat parallel to jackson
- yesss that was a much more realistic injury that's still life threatening but actually possible to recover from, rather than rusty rebar fully going through his abdomen lmao
- and he got stabbed in frank's shirt 😭 and the depeche mode song plays 😭 fuck 😭
- SO EXCITED FOR RILEY!!!!!

Silver Talks AniManga (31/03/24)
there's still 3 shows that haven't finished yet and next week the new season is gonna start already at least I will only be watching a fraction of what I was this season so that's gonna give me a lot more time to catch up on some stuff and play some things I've been putting off for a while (hopefully)
blue - finale/completed
Tumblr media
Anime
Gushing over Magical Girls Ep13 (Finale)
surprisingly the best looking showed out of the 3 ecchi ones I watched this season, despite being the lewdest by far but anyway it was alright. the only thing I knew about it going in was that it was about magical girls and lewd. turns out it's just the author's thinly veiled fetishes totally out in the open with a thin coat of magical girl on top to have an excuse to do stuff like MOTW there's not much else to say about it really, everything that happens including plot developments are just an excuse for more and lewder scenes. not sure about reading the manga anymore after having watched it but I'll probably watch a s2 if it ever gets one
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mashle S2 Ep12 (Finale)
there's not much to say really. I had hope it'd be better than s1 and while it was due to the source material being better it still wasn't that much. was hoping for a lot more sakuga cause of one of the pvs they showed but there was barely any. even the best fight in the series which I had my hopes up for only had 1 cool moment and the rest was just the usual quality. which mind you, isn't bad at all, but still not as good as it could be. out of all the things that aired this season too I expected this to get another season announced since they can finish adapting the manga with just 2 more cours (3 at most) but they haven't yet. they announced an event in may so if there's a s3 announcement it'll be there but don't hold your breath I guess
tl;dr: everything I said about s1 applies here. you're better off reading the manga instead since the anime doesn't really get the vibes right

Pokemon Horizons Ep45
this episode marked the end of the second arc and the first year of the anime (basically). next episode we start a more scarvi focused art with the main characters going to the school from the game and a ton of npcs showing up or making a return (rika and nemona 🙏)
but anyway this arc was just alright. it was all about searching and getting the six hero pokemon but there were more random eps about other stuff than that. we also have the explorers who are supposed to be the antagonists and they barely showed up despite them revealing the designs for a bunch of them. two of them are gonna be a part of the school art so maybe they'll have a bigger part in the story but I doubt it. they'll prob just be there to give the mcs a hard time and be comedic relief like team rocket.
anyway, considering how it's gone I don't have very high hopes for this next arc BUT I'm stoked to see rika and nemona, they're some of the best things to come out of those games by far

Manga
Ruri Dragon Ch11
today marked the last chap of ruri on WSJ, going forward it'll be on jump+ and run biweekly, tho the next chap will be on the 21st so I guess it's taking a week off. kinda weird to make the transition on an incomplete part like, could've very easily done it on last week's chap it felt like a more natural stopping point, but oh well. obviously tho she's gonna join that committee thing and the other girl that doesn't like her is gonna be a part of it too and they'll make up and become friends too anyway it was nice having ruri back, it's still as good as before it left. it's a shame that it's going biweekly but hey, the author's health is more important
