AGHHHHHHH i was about to go to sleep but healty schedules are overrated. Take a sit cuz this is gonna be LONG bc i dont know how to get to the point (jump right to the end to get the 3 lines resume lmao)

if you ask me why i like right now: he's a dramatic loser. But that was when i finally understood his character! you wouldn't be surprised if tell you that i'm an idiot right? i'm super slow to read between lines and understand people, that applies to fictional characters too lmao (+add that english isn't my first language) So! at first i didn't actually understood what was going on with -well- anything :D.

Took me a few playthroughs to actually understand the game in general, i started to play before step 4 was out so all i could do was play and replay different ways to fall in love with Cove (starting to crush at step3 was my fav) but tbh he was never my *type*, Derek was interesting but just bc he like us by default. Even after playing his dlc i felt like he was just a really good friend (which was kinda weird bc to this point i've just played his romantic route). So, what's different with Baxter?

To begin with! he's... he's....... huhh my first impression wasn't actually strong tbh, i was like "huh new guy to date yay". I didn't actually understood his character the first few playthroughs ngl. I started in fond ofc to get into the dlc but *I* was pretty indifferent, probably in Drinks where we finally see Morning Baxter was that i said "oh shit he's cute" and cuteness+gapmoe is enough to make me fall for any character tbh.

But! that was not enough to provoke a brainrot like this right? i'm the "Oh i love this *forgets about in a week*" type. What sealed the deal (badum tss) was probably bc of the fandom? Once i was done replaying the dlc 5 times in a row i went straight to tumblr to feed of headcanons, fanarts and fanfics. My favorite way to understand a character is thru the fandom tbh, my favs are the long aa essays talking about a character personality.

Long story short, he was dramatic troubled flirty gap-moe guy (my fictional type, coincidentally) with an excellent storyline. I still wasn't 100% into him but he was top1 romatic choice for me (sorry Cove and Derek, love ya but platonically), so i made 2 fanarts for his dlc in may and let the hype die... only for 6 months otherwise we wouldn't be here, would we?

AH-HA-HEM the day 28th of november, beginnings of summer, i went out in the morning to do some errands with my mom, we stopped to buy vegetables in our way home and she bought a small watermelon bc i love them. That same afternoon i was eating it and thought "watermelons are finally here, summer it's officially here!" and got struck with Olba memories like a sleeper agent. (made a minicomic abt that, that's why i have the exact date lol) SO i replayed the game again, reading everything again, and oh boy i finally understood so many things, one of those things was Baxter himself!

A lot of stuff made sense once i actually took the time to comprehend his character with the information i gained out of the game (mainly all the asks ppl sent to gb). Add the way that i always played like *me* on my first playthroughs of anything and then you'll notice why he hit me so hard, it felt like i wasn't giving him enough credit before dasjkfas.

Tbh his dlc is my fav bc it has such a strong storyline, you get to know him and his insecurities thru all step 3, and have a lot of sweet moments too! (and that night goodbye?? omg it hits me so hard bc it's right after the ending song) and because step 4 it's right after you go with all the fresh memories of your summer together and seeing him so cold towards you it's so painful but also so funny because HA I CAN SEE THRU YOUR FACADE YOU STILL LIKE ME HAHAHA and i finally knew the perfect word for him: loser.

Anyways i also did a deep dive in the Olba and Baxter Ward tag here in tumblr and eat pretty much everything, also helped me to get a better grasp for all the little details i didn't noticed before bc haha i told you im an idiot?

sO yeah i made a few drawings of my Mc interacting with the characters, surprisingly it got a lot of attention from the fandom so i made a few more and when i noticed i was deep into the brainrot and i wasn't able to draw anything besides my Ruri and Baxter being cute lmao

Funfact. Ruri is a variation of Rui (duh) that i used in games when i didn't feel like i wanted to be called my name directly, now that she expropriated me of that name i use Ruru, i'm so creative right?

Long story short: it was mix of the game itself, fandom content and people actually liking my oc content. The fandom is super welcoming with everyone's oc's i love that akjdlfhask

22. Favourite place you visited this year?

i feel like the answer i should say is London, i love that city every time i go, but honestly the best places ive visited were little festivals and markets. i moved to a new city where there's an amazing farmers market and also i have a friend who's brought be to some other things, like one was a book fest/market thing and those things are all so fun and they bring me so much joy

25. Did you create any characters (in games, art, or writing) this year?

I didn't write this year as much as i used to (hopefully because i've been living more in the moment) but i did make a few characters for a DnD game plus some oneshots. i've talked about Jaide before (my fey-raised half orc druid), so i'll briefly explain my two one shot boys:

Bryson was for a modern high school stereotypes thing, he's a total rebel kid who likes switchblades and is also so so gay (this was unintentional but another player just immediately became My Boyfriend in game so we gotta). He has trash statistics and i don't even remember what class he was cause he was so bad but i love him.

Jasper is tbh one of the best PCs i've ever played and i hope i play him again one day, he was for a steampunk oneshot and me and another player decided to make PCs based on Jesper and Wylan from Six of Crows, so basically i just got to be a flirty gunslinger. He was a Swashbuckler Rogue 5/Bard 1 (for those who have read SoC you'll know that the Bard level represents that he's Grisha). He was amazing and my fav character ever.

18. Best Doctor monologue?

oh man this is a hard one because I bet I'm forgetting a whole bunch of them.

I'm a sucker for any of twelve's tbh. god peter capaldi can deliver a monologue. the zygon invasion/zygon inversion one is a Classic but also I can't go past the end of the doctor falls.

also I really love the pandorica opens monologue because it's absolute peak melodrama, and then he jumps down and says 'that should keep them talking'. it's a fun tiny little deconstruction that keeps Dramatic Moment For Television working in-universe imo.

I am obsessed with victoria's family tbh. both like, whatever's going on with her dad, but also her relationship with her dead mother.

in terms of like, companion families that play more of a role in the narrative. I honestly don't care a lot about the companion families in new who? so I'm gonna say donna's just bc how can you not love wilf. I'm also really disappointed rose didn't get more to do in the specials tbh, I thought she was great in the star beast and I would've liked her to have some one-on-one companion time with the doctor after sorting the metacrisis stuff out!

35. Historical, present day or futuristic episodes?

historical. like I am BEGGING for pure historicals you have no idea.

but even without being pure historicals I do really love just like, episodes set in the past? so many of my fav episodes are historicals. and I would kill for a historical companion again. on the other hand I do think historicals need to get the history /right/, in terms of how they treat the past - I would probably cite the witchfinders as my least favourite episode bc I think its take on gender dynamics in history is awful.

also episodes combining future and past. like I'm as iffy on the romance aspect of the girl in the fireplace as anyone but if you take that away I LOVE that episode.

EHEHEEEE OK SO I'll say my fav from each game

Mgs1 is def Liquid he. He's so overdramatic it's really funny. He did so many backflips while explaining his tragic backstory 🥰 and then he just fucking died and turned into an arm which is the real tragedy (I have so many random HCs for him it's insane... I also rewrote his backstory a little...the recessive thing is so dumb)

Mgs2 I think it's a split between Raiden and Fortune. Raiden I really enjoyed playing as a character who is just... idk how to put it I just like that he's flawed and not some morally perfect charismatic guy. It feels like he's set up to be that way and then he whines about everything and is very dismissive at some points. It feels like he's a real person and not perfectly crafted to be the ultimate stereotypical good guy protagonist who can stay cool and collected in every situation. He has his moments where he lets emotion get the better of him and I like it a lot.

Fortune I have less to say about her but it doesn't mean I like her less. I think she's a really tragic character backstory wise but I also like how she sort of "plays into it" I guess? Ocelot points it out himself near the end of the game ("you couldn't get enough of the drama"). I thought the ending where she found out she could've died any time and she didn't have some magic ability was sad too and I lowkey wish she didn't die and was like redeemed somehow (imagine she comes back in mgs4 and has to go against Vamp or something that would've been so cool)..anyway I guess I didn't actually have less to say I like Fortune a lot blehhh😋

mgs3 AGH.. EVA ILY she is such a well written character and I love her so much I could write an essay on her if I wanted but I'll keep it more brief here. She's like a perfect subversion of the typical sexualized woman in video game thing...it's what she's doing as a spy for the mission and the best part is it doesn't even really work lol nice job snake. The game itself even adheres to whether Eva is in her Eva persona or her Tatyana one. It's....aghhhhghhh so great. (I have so many thoughts about her and Liquid btw)

Mgs4...difficult but probably Screaming Mantis. For real this time not a lot to say about her but I do like her a lot more since playing the game she went from my least fav B&B unit member to my fav one. She was really fun to watch in all her cutscenes and her boss fight was one of the best MGS boss fights I've ever done tbh. The callbacks and references to the first game were so good I won't lie I was giggling kicking my feet a lil bit. Screaming Mantis ily I have so many thoughts <333

Peace Walker ermmm Kaz and Paz equal I can't decide..also maybe Amanda. Yeah I like everyone a lot 😭 and Cécile....not Snake tho sorry lol. I haven't finished the game so I haven't gotten the full character arcs of everyone so it's hard to pinpoint exact explanations but you know I love Kaz forever and ever mwah mwah (I'm also a transfem Kaz truther and I'm RIGHT!!!). Amanda has a lot of really cool tapes explaining a lot of...not really exposition but it gives a lot of great context to her character. And her voice acting especially in cutscenes is some of the best voice acting I've seen in an mgs game so it adds a lot. Paz I need to learn more about her. I know basic plot points but not the inbetween stuff that really lets you get to know her. I do feel really sad for her though, Kojima decided he wanted shock value instead of a female character having a nice ending 🤷‍♀️ Sucks.

Mgsv QUIET!!!! QUIET ILY!!! she's soooooo OUGH. I'm glad a lot of the fandom has fixed her from her extremely flawed portrayal in the game because it shows what really could've been and I think I latch more onto that than the version of her in the game just a little. The foundation they were working with was still really good. The way they show her and venom building such a strong bond despite never having a single conversation is really well done and I like it a lot. Quiet ily my favourite creaturething killgirl my favourite ear biter offer...

Just as before, the phone in front of you powers on once again, a bright screen shining back to life, with someone else off in their own world this time. Whoever is in front this time seems preoccupied for a while, minding their own business absentmindedly. They seem to be sat in a well-kept, yet room on the messier side. It seems to be a comfortable apartment, with a few sweaters scattered across a chair, or the bed, and a couple of small trinkets, or inanimate objects out of place. It isn't until long before they *do* eventually take notice of whoever's there to greet them, and when they finally do.. you can make out a smile being offered in your direction, with a curious gaze made your way, before they lean in to greet you.

I slept good, I tend to sleep good unless im woken up super early . I hope reader is happy with yoongi now. I do play some games like minecraft but lately it has been games on roblox or a game callled genshin impact, I do dabble in playing animal crossing or kingdom hearts every now and again. I havent played stardew vallley though. OH BUT I DO LOVE THE POKEMON FRANCHISE !! ohh what book is it??? I'd like to know what its called I might check it out. You're welcome, I just love your work I really spent two days reading through your work when I fount it. I do love my fair share of books as well. It was mine as well, i was like "WHAT??? IT DIDNT PLAY??? WHY DIDNT IT PLAY???" or something the first episode it didnt play. OKAY SO HERE IS MY THEORY. Remember how there's some good monsters such as the slime monster that saved the little boy and hyunsu as well as the monster that the mom who lost her baby turned into(well what she turned into was stationary, didnt do any harm so i consider that good) and then there's the bad oones that attack others and they all look different and act differently? Then when hyunsu was having the hallucinations of his more monster self talking to him, the monster hyunsu asked him what he basically desired but hyunsu didnt give it to him which basically allowed hyunsu to stay in control and live past the 15 days. What if for those who are going to turn, what if their desire as well as who they are as a person affects the monster form they take? Like if they're a bad person their monster will attack others, and if their desire is to become really strong then their monster takes the form of something really beeffy (such as the really big and muscly monster seen in a few episodes) and it could also be affected with outside resources such as the flies with that one security guard, but on the other hand if you're a good hearted person with a good desire then the monster form will take base on that (like the goo could of been wanting to protect others so it became like that so it could, and the mother could of turned into the fetus looking monster simply because she desired to have her child, so she turned into that yet there was no will to hurt anyone so it never did anything) so basically that is my theory, it may be wrong idk but its based off some thinking and what i've observed and remembered. I'm in the same boat tbh, idk either. I am too but its a matter of finding what I like and taking the time to listen to other songs. and oooohhh! Interesting I wonder what some of the songs are. OH I TOTALLY FORGOT TO LIST TXT!! I love them as well. Dawn and Hyuna are amazing!! My favorite hyuna song has to be I'm Not Cool, and with Dawn maybe dawndididawn(maybe mistpelled that) im not sure atm.

Man.. my favorite characters... can I just say all of them CSKDJDJ I love them all so much that it's hard to discern my top favs, but I know they exist XD

For Persona 5 I absolutely, positively, adore Ryuji, Futaba, and Sojiro. Akiren and Maruki might be crying in the corner but don't mind them /lh

1. Ryuji

Ryuji has been my favorite since the original release of p5 and he has held that spot through royal! Reasonings.. he's precious and is bestie material 😌 also I feel like I can trust him with anything-

2. Futaba

Futaba is a character I heavily relate to, but she also never fails to bring a smile to my face. I see her as a little sister and will protect her with my life :3

3. Sojiro

BEST DAD- cough- he's seriously the best though and a comfort character if I've ever seen one. At this point if the parental figure in persona games aren't a comfort character for me, then something is terribly wrong and you should call the police /j I also view Dojima in persona 4 as a comfort character and I blame Sojiro for this trend! Not that I mind- I actually have a "Characters I want as a Dad" list and those two are on there.

Persona 3! Gosh, this game is my everything.. p5 might've introduced me to this series, but p3 is the one that truly captured my heart(even though it was the second to last persona game I played). It was the first persona game to make me full on sob MULTIPLE TIMES, like I swear 🙄 /lh

My favorites for it though... hm, I'd have to say Makoto(our doorkun), Shinjiro, and Bebe. Although Fuuka, Hitoshi, and Ryoji are extremely close to throwing everyone out of the top positions XD

1. Makoto

I deeply admire him. For his efforts and what he stood for. In a way he brings me comfort, but not like a comfort character. Tbh it's hard to explain, but he makes it feel like everything's okay- somehow differently than a comfort character. I suppose like the hushing of a mother to her crying baby? But also he does some really funny things LMAO

2. Shinjiro

Comfort character. That's all /j

Shinji is a character that wiggled his way into my heart with no problem, which could be seen as painful. If you know, you know. He makes me feel safe in general and man his character.. the way they wrote him and his story is amazing! I wish he was on our team longer, but I don't regret spending a large portion of my yen on him. My strongest teammate... I'll see you again on my second playthrough! [Read: tenth playthrough]

3. Bebe

The French transfer student who adores Japan's culture. HE ALSO CAPTURED MY HEART IN RECORD TIME- he's my everything and I max his social link without fail everytime. I saw him in the hallway on the first day of school and listened to his conversation with the history teacher and.. I knew from that moment onward that I was going to TALK TO HIM SO DAMN HARD *desk slam* UGH- seeing him is a serotonin boost istg!

So I think the first thing is to consider Eddie is teasing Buck with a bit of a judgmental look. I do believe this look contains that to a degree, but it’s not the only thing there, IMO. Otherwise, Eddie might have also added some verbal teasing, because that’s usually been his M.O, he’s never been shy or non-verbal about fondly teasing Buck. But I think there’s also an honest surprise there. Buck’s drawing is sweet and loving and soft, not to mention cute as heck. It’s in a sense such a good representation of the kind of person Buck is, and the kindheartedness and love he has brought into the lives of the Diaz boys. Eddie is shown a physical representation of why no one will ever match him better than Buck will. And maybe for a sec that takes him by surprise or is even a little too much to contain, because Eddie has just returned from therapy, and he’s not exactly in a great place by his own admission after (in his words) having cracked himself open for 50 minutes and having walked out feeling like he was hit by a bus. If in this moment he thinks too closely about what this drawing says about who Buck is and what he means in the Diaz home, Eddie might just have to admit some things to himself. So instead he gives in to his fatigue and expresses his sense of hopelessness:

Maybe he does it in part to avoid really thinking about what Buck means to him. And maybe he also does it in part because this drawing is a reminder that this is the optimistic man that is there to love and support Eddie, and it’s okay to let go in his presence and confess the biggest, scariest of doubts. Buck’s gonna handle them with that shining love he has, Eddie’s heart is safe in his hands.

the first character i ever fell in love with: pretty sure i started liking all of the pogues at about the same time? but i believe it was pope since he was introduced as the Nerd and i was immediately in love

a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: i really liked ward in the beginning! it was fairly apparent from the get-go that he would be the villain (i think it clicked for me in his third scene or something) yet he was still charming enough for me to appreciate him. but it quickly became clear how awful he was to his children and that made me :/ i can excuse murder but i draw the line at child abuse

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: can't think of any for this show

my ultimate favourite character™: jj maybank, light of my life and actual human disaster. but also pope, rafe, and kiara

my NOTP: i've seen a lot of people ship rafe and kie and like, aside from the fact that they've had a total of three scenes together... he’s also attempted to murder her in 2/3 scenes? what is wrong w y'all why do you hate her so much

favourite episode: oh my gosh. 2.10 was fantastic! it was so fun!! i loved all the boat shenanigans, i loved seeing cleo again, i loved that rafe and john b scene where rafe came off as a slasher film villain, i loved poor wheezie just wanting to play a game with her sister, so on and so forth. and i also adore 1.06 (where they go to the spooky mansion to extract the gold). it's scarier than so many horror movies and i love the moment of celebration that the pogues have at the end. it gives me... i think they call it serotonin?

saddest death: peterkin! listen i rewatched s1 after the second season came out and tbh, she was a little bit corrupt. but ultimately she had the best interests of the kids at heart and i was so sad when she died.

favourite season: definitely liked season 1 the most. god i honestly miss early quarantine so bad and obx1 was a huge part of that for me.

least favourite season: season 2. it was still a fun watch, don't get me wrong, but i think at times it prioritized high-thrill action sequences over authentic character moments. i read something about how obx is very unique in that it managed to capture a large male audience (around 50% of its viewers), and maybe that's why? however, i think the first season managed to be lowkey but also high stakes and i do believe they'll try to replicate a similar vibe for the third season. i just miss my kids chilling at the beach ya know?

character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: can't think of anyone. the main cast is very likable

my 'you're a piece of trash, but you're still a fav' fav: RAFE CAMERON! it took me so long to accept that i liked him because i was so upset about peterkin, but they gave him so much depth in the second season and drew starkey delivered such an excellent performance. and when i rewatched the first season i ended up just feeling awful for him :( he needs jail but also therapy

my 'this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it' ship: not going to lie i kind of fw rose and ward. it was just so unexpected to me that she ended up being more cold and calculating than ward himself and helped him rein it in when he was freaking out about another murder he'd committed. power couple that needs to stay far away from their three kids <3

my 'they're kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i'm not too invested' ship: jarah! to be honest their buildup was SO GOOD but everything after that first kiss fell flat for me which is disappointing. i feel like both of them lost a lot of personality after getting together. i still want to see them be happy and in love, but i would also really like for them to spend some time apart in season 3 (not necessarily broken up, just not on screen together)

Hey. How are you? Can you list (in order) your favourite sport works ? It can be both manga and anime. 😊. And what work/s you think have better emotions description ? Like the emotional side of the character are clear as many sport works really focus on the sport itself more than other aspects. I know it might be tough since there are many good works but the more I get myself into Daiya the more I think "omg this is gonna be my 2nd best work" since I still like ANS over anything 😂

hmm this is so hard for me, Anon because like LMAO I CANT DECIDE FAVS FOR ANYTHING !! it took me way too long to even remember how much sport manga/anime i've watched/ read but here is like a very rough list

1.) Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru (Run with the Wind)

I love, love, love this anime. I think I've said it before but this anime is a story that I can only dream of writing. Every character is fleshed out , their motivations are clear, their emotions seem real. They seem real. The story is also so damn good omg. overall 10000/10 Kiyose haunts my dreams, u need to watch if u haven't.

2.) Days

READ THE MANGA PLEASE IM BEGGING! The anime is good! It's fun, it's light hearted, and it ties emotions into the sport of soccer/football well BUT THE MANGAAAA OHH MY GOD! THE MANGA. It is superior! THE ART STYLE>>>>> THE EMOTIONAL BEATS?? THE CHARACTER GROWTH! While the pace is a bit slow, the characters + cast make up for it and the emotions hit man. Days gets me riled up, and unlike Daiya or ANS (mangas i have some knowlege of the sport) i don't know shit about soccer/football, and it makes me CARE bout games! so yeah would recommend, main charcater is the best boy but Mizuki owns my heart

3.) Ahiru no Sora

I feel like this is obvious? Like the only reason why it isn't number one is because of the anime AND because I haven't finished it or like we're no where near it being half way translated but ! uhhh overall it has the BEST characters! and the best relationships/team relations. honestly these characters feel like guys in highschool just trying to maneuver their way through life and play the sport they love and i LOVE that!

4.) Blue Lock

Listenn.....i love this manga sm. and i love it because it isn't like any other sport manga i've ever read. It's intense, it's batshit crazy, it's fast paced as HELL. While there aren't much emotional moments, the ones they do have hit HARD. and idk i love how ruthless everyone is. It's like if the generation of miracles from KNB were all thrown in a room and told to compete for one position liKE I EAT IT UP. i forever love the anon that told me to read it bc it's def a fave.

5.) Eyeshield 21

ok ok, so this has such a soft spot in my heart. while it is older and ofc not the most accurate, I love the art style, the silly characters, and idk it reminds me of like... my childhood and yk what they say nostalgia sells better than sex. the anime just reminds me of early 2000s anime to the core and like the manga UGH it's such a fun read? it isnt really emotionally deep but to me i think the writing is very nuanced and the characters have more depth than many give them credit for plus idk! i just love the team and their arcs would def recommend if u havent watched or read.

anyways this is a very, VERY rough list that changes every two weeks based on my emotions and if i've rewatched one recently, or reread or etc! idk tbh everything I write for is like...a fave for me! but thank you for this question, Nonny! It was fun to answer!

Well time for a ramble 8U

Yeah I actually hate Strikers (I'll admit when they have a good idea......too bad they see that good idea and they do their best to fudge it up). It might actually be my most hated spinoff. Which is saying something. ("Then what's your fav P5 spinoff" ....PQ2..... until I replay it then kfjaskldfjaf but at least PQ2 does stuff right....it does stuff wrong but at least it can be competent....in the writing aspect at least.....)

Phantom Thieves............ complicated. Individual characters I love Anne, Haru, Sumi, Sophia, and Zenkichi. (depending on the scene Ryuji too).

As a unit? Like the icon of PT? I hate them. They are shallow. I'm fine with them wanting to help people, but each time they get any sort of pressure on how they go about helping people they turn into the most shallow wishy washy group I've ever met. This isn't to say that SEES/IT are like SOOOOOOO deep guys! It's just that I find the PT to be shallow hypocrites who like to skirt responsibility and it feels like the narrative tries it's damnedest to do that.

THAT BEING SAID, this is something I cut from my other post cause it went off topic. I do think them splitting up would....work wonder's for the group. Considering how each one has a unique background, the writing team doesn't utilize it. Everyone just kinda acts like a single unit with no real input on their own experiences. (again, SEES/IT aren't perfect, BUT, a big part of P3's drama is drama within the group and P4 had a very good climatic moment where the team legit splits down the middle on a very important decision.....Mona/Ryu fighting is baby league compared to a very achievable bar).

And I find if the team does split up and then get back together, that'd open up for some 1) interesting drama in a story, 2) a great way to soft reboot the PT (aka we can actually explore the diff backgrounds and perspectives and how that'd clash).

"News for me" Oh I know anon, this isn't news to me I've been living in this hell for awhile. tbh I think P6 is in development atm (well Atlus stated they are working on it, as for if it's predevelopment or what we dunno).

Am I gonna buy the spinoffs? *looks at the copies I already own* Yeah. "But why?" Because I like Persona's (as a series whole) lore. I like keeping track of the lore. Ever since I jumped into the fandom a long time ago. PQ2 and P5 really make my head hurt with how they screwed up Persona's lore but my brain hasn't physically exploded yet so 8U I'm still breathing. "But why when you hate it?"

Well........1) I didn't think I'd hate P5 and that was a journey, 2) I love P4D so when P3/5D was announced I was legit excited for it (plus the triple pack got me all three games) and....P3/5D was a let down among other things, 3) PQ series is my other fav of the 3 times (at the time) Persona spinoff titles and FeMC FINALLY was getting some spotlight so of course I was gonna play it (I dislike PQ2 because......just.....a lot of issues, so many bizarre choices and lore issues but that's par for the course with P5).

"But what about P5S? Why play it if you hate it." .....that's the thing....I didn't know I was gonna hate it....until I played it. In fact, I...actually didn't expect anything (except hoping Sophia would be aeon BUT THAT'S FOR ANOTHER SALTY TIME!) I kept my bar as low as I could for P5S. Can't hurt my expectations when I have none! ......well that meme where it's like "I expected nothing and was still disappointed" was def me. Gameplay was fun/fine. Everything else has been a dumpster fire and I'm....actually a bit shocked since I've seen people describe it as the best P5 spinoff game, having the best characterization and what not and.....it's not (imo)?????? And I'm just???? HOw? Why? (not judging people that still think this just.....I don't see it, what do you see? I wish I could see what you see! ;w;)

So no I don't go into the games ready to hate them, I want to judge the game on it's own merits. And I'm judging them. It's only fair for the game.

"Am I not going to buy those future P5 spinoffs?" Haha....nah Atlus has me in their grasps, I'm buying them. Tho so far post-Hashino Persona has me.......worried. I don't like what they've been doing so far. Now P5S? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt cause iirc KT wrote that and Atlus just signed off on it. So like that's a saving grace (I don't have to expect that mess to be in future games).

"But why still buy them even if you know P5 is in it and you hate P5?" Well again points 1-3, 1) lore (gotta keep up with it), 2) P5D/PQ2 had other circumstances to it for me to get them, 3) P5S is technically written by KT iirc so maybe I shouldn't judge Atlus themselves too harshly (I mean you guys signed off on this but WHATEVER!) since they didn't write it aka hopefully quality of the future games will be better so that entices me, 4) I want a crossover and if other casts are gonna be in I'll stomach P5 (until it turns into a PQ2 PT boot licking fest again orz) 5) I actually DO wanna like the PT....I think it's too far gone for that to happen but some sunk cost fallacy is in there....and I like Anne/Haru/Sumi yadda yadda I want more of them....gotta put up with Makoto and Futaba but.... >.> I'll manage
