Okay hear me out, this theory is kind of crazy. (I’m not even sure I believe it, but there are some weird details and loose threads that I just can’t stop thinking about.)

Is Porter really the big bad? Seems like right now we’re working off of a lot of circumstantial evidence. Here’s what we know for sure:

Porter is an oath-of-ancestors barbarian/Paladin multiclass (the latter of these explaining why he can heal).

Porter can see Kalina/was probably working with Kalina.

Porter is around 6’5, so with an enlarge/reduce spell would be the size of the cloaked figure.

Porter is a descendant of giants from the mountain of chaos.

Here’s where it breaks down:

Why would Porter use that legendary stunning action after he (believed he had) learnt the name of his goddess? Is it because he suspected an invisible creature might be nearby—Kipperlily, for instance? But wasn’t Kipperlily working for him?

Who was he responding to when he said “got it” in his head (overheard by Adaine)? Jace, perhaps? Someone else working on this same case?

Do the names really match up? The house of Sunstone went into hiding after the Breaking of the Cliffs of Colcath—does it really sound like they were the ones doing the Cliffbreaking? No, they were defeated at that battle—so why would they call themselves Cliffbreakers? Wouldn’t something like, oh, I don’t know—Stardiamond make more sense?

Are we certain we can trust the magical evidence we’ve seen thus far? Nystal’s Magic Aura could easily make Jace’s chest look like a scar-sigil, or Porter’s chest look sigil-free. What if Jace wants us to think Porter is the bad guy, and poor poor kittycat Jace is just under his magic thrall? (Bear in mind, Nystal’s Magic Aura is not a sorcerer spell, but Brennan did mention that Jace cast it to disguise Porter’s teacher evaluation form, so I assume Jace has it somehow.)

For that matter—can we trust physical evidence? Take the ambrosia smoothies in Porter’s office, for instance: If star-sigils can bend you to the command of whoever placed them on you, then couldn’t Porter have merely been doing Jace’s bidding? Could Kipperlily (who we know was nearby) have planted some (or even all) of that evidence?

Is Porter definitely connected to the ongoing mystery, and almost certainly working on the side of the bad guys? For sure. Absolutely. Yes. Does that mean he is definitively THE big bad of the season? Well…. maybe!

But bear in mind this: Brennan works on comedy -> storytelling principles. Porter actually being evil is funny. But managing to convince Fig that Porter is evil, again, right after she’d finally gotten over all that… would be much, much funnier.

So, four final things to bear in mind:

If Jace is 6’whatever, enlarge/reduce could absolutely still make him the cloaked figure. Divine Soul sorcerers also get access to all cleric spells—including resurrection and revivify.

Brennan never said in-universe that the Sunstone family became the Cliffbreaker family.

It seems to me that it would make more sense for the Cliffbreakers to be the good guys who defeated the Sunstones at the sundering of the Cliffs of Colcath, and for the Sunstone family to become the Stardiamond family after that. Which would make Jace wanting to get revenge on/take over the mind and body of Porter make that much more sense. (Or Porter could even be working to stop Jace!—assuming we can discount the evidence from his office, which, to be fair, is a big leap.)

Between Porter and Jace, only Jace has been seen actually conversing with Kalina. Again, by Ragh Barkrock.

Maybe I need to take a nap or something. Brennan Lee Mulligan you have to stop or you’re gonna make me tear out my hair.

And Jace and Porter have known each other for years, so it would be easy for Jace to infect Porter with the Kalina curse (intentionally or not)—and then it was Jace who convinced Porter to heal Ragh after the Kalvaxus battle!

And what if Porter had all of that evidence in his safe because he’s investigating Jace? He could be in deep cover working for the Council of Chosen for all we know. It could be a years-long, destined-enemies type toxic yaoi situationship in there. After all, if Porter is the bad guy, what’s Jace getting out of the evil plan?

^And that could explain why he might need devil’s honey—unrelated to Jace/The Ratgrinder’s use of it—he needs to fool a Divine Soul sorcerer with Zone of Truth!

Brennan’s gone out of his way to avoid mentioning Porter by name (or even a recognizable title) in any of the Ratgrinder’s communications. Why? At this point he presumably has nothing to hide from the players… but if Porter isn’t involved directly with the evil plan then his name not coming up in their communications would make perfect sense!

Last week, in reply to the usual Larrie goading on Twitter, Louis Tomlinson indirectly referred to Larry as "ridiculous childish theories and conspiracies". Revenge from Larries has been swift. They're angry. They're insulted. They're broken-hearted! They're mocking and vengeful. They're undeterred in their Larrying.

In short, they're all the things they always are whenever Louis addresses their stupid bullshit.

BUT!

Other fans of Louis - fans who are definitely not conspiracy theorists and certainly not Larries, oh no! - have uncovered an even darker tale of anger and revenge.

It isn't just Larries who have responded furiously to Louis' denial of Larry.

Harry Styles HQ has unleashed a vicious, vengeful attack on Louis!

That's right. According to seasurfacefullofclouds1, "when Louis does anything to shatter the 'Larry' illusion, Sony (HSHQ, Irving and Jeff, Rob Stringer etc) get very angry".

And how do they deal with that anger? By posting a "disgusting" video of Louis on Sony's TikTok "that is so obviously targeted harassment against Louis they make it obvious that they are the power that causes industry to blacklist Louis".

Now, I am not a skilled specialist in the nefarious ways of HSHQ, so when I saw this disgusting video of Sony's, I confess it wasn't immediately clear to me why it was so disgusting.

According to Louis' fans, HSHQ's tactics are sly and insidious. So sly as to be almost imperceptible to anyone other than the highly-trained eye of a watchful Louis Tomlinson fan. One might ask, if HSHQ's revenge can only be perceived by these LT sleuths, how can it be effective?

BECAUSE IT JUST IS, OKAY??! DON'T ASK DIFFICULT QUESTIONS!

The video in question is an 11-second compilation of clips of Louis from various One Direction music videos, soundtracked by the chorus of 1D's second single, Gotta Be You. It's one of a series of videos Sony posted of each of the 1D members, all set to the Gotta Be You chorus and captioned "It's gotta be Niall", "It's gotta be Harry" etc.

Hmm... the disgusting nature of this video was subtle in the extreme. I needed to refer to an expert.

Gracefullou said, "Sony posted a TikTok about Louis (as a 1D member) and used as a sound the part of that song that he said on aotv he was promised to sing only to find out when it was released they used that man's voice instead".

Aha! The clue here is in the use of "that man" - codename for Harry Styles. And of course - Gotta Be You!

In Louis' documentary, he shared the difficult memory of rehearsing and recording a verse in Gotta Be You, only to discover that his singing was not used in the final recording, and the verse was instead sung by Harry. Now, the disgusting Sony video does not actually use the part of the song Louis was referring to, but no matter! And the fact that the same chorus was also used to soundtrack the videos of the other four members of 1D is immaterial...ignore that part, it's Sony burying the lead! THIS WAS A TARGETED AND DELIBERATE ATTACK!!!!

Look, it's obvious. Harry, the Azoffs, Rob Stringer...they're all "still bitter he survived and is thriving rn".

You may think, but Harry is currently on a break, loved-up with his girlfriend. Why would he care that Louis has denied Larry again?

The killer mom who butchered her boyfriend and pushed her kids out of a moving car before crashing into a tree Monday was a once-prolific astrologer who was terrified of the impending “apocalypse” she believed the eclipse would incite, according to a report.

Danielle Johnson — a popular astrology influencer who went by the name Danielle Ayoka online — warned her 106,000 followers to “wake up” and to “pick a side” in the days before she carried out the twisted murder-suicide that spanned several Los Angeles neighborhoods, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times Wednesday.

“WAKE UP WAKE UP THE APOCALYPSE IS HERE. EVERYONE WHO HAS EARS LISTEN. YOUR TIME TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS NOW,” Johnson wrote last week in a tweet that was viewed 600,000 times.

“IF YOU BELIEVE A NEW WORLD IS POSSIBLE FOR THE PEOPLE RT NOW. THERE IS POWER IN CHOICE. THERE IS POWER IN CHOICE!!!! REPOST TO MAKE THE CHOICE FOR THE COLLECTIVE.”

Three days later — hours before the eclipse was expected to occur over California — Johnson murdered two of her loved ones and tried to kill her oldest daughter before killing herself in an early-morning massacre, according to police.

Neither the self-described “divine healer” nor her boyfriend had any documented history of domestic violence or calls to police, leading investigators to suspect that the sprawling bloodbath was influenced by Johnson’s crazed end-of-world paranoia, sources told the LA Times.

Johnson urged her followers to protect themselves from the eclipse, which she dubbed the “epitome of spiritual warfare.”

The healer — who also peddled R&B songs — was once a media darling who was profiled by Refinery 29 and the Fader, both of which applauded her clairvoyant talents.

In 2016, Refinery 29 said Johnson had “a brilliant gift for calling out the nonsense of any sun sign in need of real truths.”

Johnson was apparently last active on social media Sunday afternoon — roughly 12 hours before police say she stabbed her 29-year-old boyfriend, Jaelen Allen Chaney, in the heart while he was on the couch of their luxury Woodland Hills apartment.

Evidence suggests she tried to drag the body out of the unit, but gave up and left his body in the kitchen, sources told the LA Times.

She then piled her two daughters in her Porsche Cayenne, which she drove through a security gate as she peeled away from the scene.

Around 5 a.m., Johnson threw her 9-year-old daughter out of the car and onto a freeway while the girl clutched her 8-month-old baby sister, authorities said. The older child survived the fall and escaped traffic, but the infant was found dead at the scene.

Johnson’s body was found several miles away at 5:30 a.m. inside a crushed car that had been driven into a tree at speeds topping 100 mph.

Investigators found a trail of bloody footprints leading through the open door of the apartment, which was also littered with black feathers and tarot cards, sources said.

Police initially said Chaney and Johnson were engaged in a verbal altercation when Johnson picked up the knife around 3:40 a.m.

The partial eclipse was visible across California about seven hours later.

It is believed the 9-year-old child — the sole survivor of the horrifying attack — had witnessed her mother slay Chaney.

Johnson killed herself more than 30 miles south of the site of Chaney’s murder.

Investigators are also still working to determine if the baby had died before being thrown from the car.
