Enter Androswag, from Melbourne-based siblings Cass and Jordy. Androswag’s mission is to break down gender barriers to provide access to quality clothing that people of all gender identifications will feel comfortable purchasing and wearing.

“We started with one simple concept,” they tell Same Same. “When so many girls are wearing what is traditionally known as ‘men’s clothes’, why are we still required to shop, online or retail, in areas that aren’t targeted toward us? The same idea applies to all of us who don’t fit into the tight boxes of strict gender norms.”

With a focus on providing clothes that feature styles and sizes that will accommodate a broad range of people and gender identities, Androswag’s primary mission is to just let everyone rock their own style without the hassle of stressful shopping experiences.

The team has just launched their first line of tees, tanks and hoodies and they’re all available through here

Androswag is officially launching the label tonight (Saturday 30 July) at The Girlfriend Society Party at Sorry Grandma! at 590 Little Bourke Street. Doors at 11pm, Androswag catwalk at midnight. Find details here.
