GET HIM BACK! — luke castellan
content: enemies w benefits, mentions of sex, really short so part 2?????, unedited
a/n: based off of this post: )
Tumblr media
You hated Luke.
Hate wasn’t even strong enough. Loathe. Despise. Detest. Regretted ever speaking with him in the first place.
He was too cocky, too stupid, too good at swordsmanship, too nice to the younger kids, too handsome… The list goes on.
Yet you often found yourself laid underneath his toned body with tangled limbs and hot breaths.
Even after almost being caught one to many times after leaving a black lace bra on the ground behind Aphrodites cabin, or the violet patches growing along your collarbone and neck, or the lipstick smudged on Luke’s face that was only known to be worn by one girl in camp. You.
But at least the two of you were fairly well at hiding the attraction you shared for each other. It was easy to hate him. And he played the part of the whipped yet cocky boy phenomenally.
It was just a part, you thought.
He was almost too good at excusing the Ares boy who offered to partner up with you during sparring, too good and giving him a tight smile, too good and not-so-subtly shoving shoulder with the boy, and always too good and making you feel like and idiot when you were pinned under his body, faces inches apart like you had been so many times before, only this time there was an audience.
“Get off me.” You seethed, squirming to no end. Luke’s hand were expertly pinned against your own. A stupid smile on his face. He was too pretty to also be nice.
He gave a small shrug. “I could,” A cocky look you knew all too well. “Or I could watch you squirm…” He whispered just quiet enough so the younger campers trying to learn from the two best counselors couldn’t hear.
You kicked a leg up, trying your best to keep Luke’s strong gaze under your control. But the swordsman always seemed to be one step ahead of you, one hand reaching down and grabbing the inside of your lower thigh and holding it in place. “Cmon, don’t be like that.” his voice was still soft, the memory of the night before flooded your brain like a thunderstorm.
“I’m seriously, seriously, gonna kill you, Luke.” He laughed, which only caused you to bit the air just and inch from his nose. “Just wait until-“
“Until what? Until tonight?”
“Oh, Gods-“
“Campers!” Chirons powerful voice sounded through the training arena. a few of the younger kids jumped at the noise, other took a step closer to their older siblings. “Is there a problem here?” You took the moment where Luke broke eye contact as an opportunity to push him off of you, causing him to roll over before straightening himself out for Chiron.
“No, Sir, me and my friend here were just showing everyone some new moves.” He winced as you pinched the skin in his neck, not ignoring the way a greenish bruise was showing under his bright orange shirt. Your face suddenly got red, could everyone else see them too?
Luke’s hand flew back to grab your own, expertly disguising the move as an itchy neck. He held your hand in his own for a second, giving it a tight squeeze. You winced. He immediately let go.
“Well, in that case, I hope you’re actually teaching something.” Chiron answered with a narrow eye. The kids on the sidelines giggled to each other. You silently wished Luke hadn’t been so difficult and just let the Ares boy spar with you instead of causing a huge scene.
Luke, yet again, took her hand and dragged you forward. Side by side, you two looked like the golden couple of Camp Half-Blood. “Of course, always up to learning knew things, right?” he smiled at Chiron once, then you. Leaving only a wink to keep you company.
Tumblr media
Later that day you found yourself in the mess hall, poking and prodding at the not so appealing food that sat on your tray. Your sibling sat herself beside you, telling her side of the incident at the area just hours before. “I saw the way Luke grabbed your hand, he’s so sly. Sly little fox… Cute, too. Definitely handsome…” she rambled, only stopping when she realized you were barely listening, focused on something, or rather someone else across the mess hall. “Oh… you dirty dog!” she exclaimed.
“What? What are you talking about?” You asked as you fixed your gaze back at your sister who was smiling the same was Luke did after proving you wrong.
She shoved your shoulder. “Be serious, you think he’s cute.”
Somehow, somehow, Luke found himself staring at you while Chris blabbered in next to him. Your eyes locked and you could practically feel your heart beat out of your chest. He raised an eyebrow, only smirking when he realized just exactly why you were looking at him. You could practically hear the sound of his cocky voice saying: “Ohh…” in your ear. While glaring at him, he took the opportunity to blow an endearing yet annoying kiss in your direction.
“Oh!” Your sister smacked your arm playfully. “Oh… I could definitely see this, I can see the vision…” She pondered as Luke laughed to himself after seeing you go red.
You were going to get him back.

AITA if I actively worsen my family’s sanity as revenge for worsening mine?
My family is that if two parents and three children (all in our 20s).
Without getting into deep specifics, basically, I’ve lost all the patience I’ve had for my family. My mom who is manipulative, my dad who is neglectful, my siblings who are egotistical and dismissive.
because I’m the middle child and oldest daughter I’ve been the brunt of every negative thing you could think of, and I dealt with it for… 25 years.
but this year as my New Year’s resolution I swore to treat them worse than they treat me. So every time my mom tried to manipulate me into feeling bad for her and to love her and to do the house chores, I threaten to kill myself and tell her that she was an awful mother and that if she really cared for me she wouldn’t ask me for things. (She knows I have mental illness that makes it hard for me to do things)
and when my dad puts my pet in danger I slap him and threaten to take his pet to a shelter to have him euthanized and tell him he should die alongside his pet (he is in his mid 60s)
I don’t do anything directly to my siblings because our relationship honestly isn’t that bad, but I did make a fake Instagram account that I use to call out one sibling for all the stuff they do to keep their image up or whatever (some bullying might be involved in their part)
and for my other sibling, who collects vinyls, occasionally I go and scratch up a vinyl they have. Just enough to make it seem like normal wear and tear, they haven’t noticed yet lol.
whenever my parents try to bring up my behavior to me I start yelling at them about how I’m crazy and they raised a crazy daughter and that everything I do is a result of their own creation. And my dad has offhandedly said to let a (female) pet die after she got injured once, so I bring that up all the time.
I tell him that since he hates women so much he should just shoot me like I know he wants to.
Over the past few months I’ve noticed that one sibling has become extremely paranoid, while the other has gotten very frustrated. My dad avoids me now and my mom is very obedient and quiet.
I don’t feel bad about this, and I know there are other things I could have done, but I feel like this has been worth 25 years of repressed anger. Now that the year is almost over, I’m considering that my New Year’s resolution be to try to fix whatever shit show has become of my family, but that’s not the point.
AITA for taking this revenge, or am I justified in paying them back?
the reason I don’t think I’m the asshole in this situation is that at least for the first several months, they tried doubling down on their bullshit. My mom got more manipulative, pulling out everything she could to make me feel bad for her and to submit to her again. And my dad became violent toward my pet, whom I’m protective of to the point where I’ve told every single person I’ve met that if anything happened to her I would kill everybody and then myself. (Luckily I was able to prevent my dad from actually hurting her, but the fact that he tried drove my goal further).
honestly, my sibling probably didn’t deserve it because we all pretty much ignore each other, but I’m holding the grudges from childhood when they would beat me up and break my stuff.
and before anyone says it, I went to therapy for four years and it just made me more angry
What are these acronyms?

So, here’s an AU I actually came up with back in February but apparently forgot to post here:
It started by thinking about AUs where SJ and SY are siblings, and how SJ is usually depicted as the overprotective one — so what if it was the other way around?
SY reincarnated as a child who was on the streets with YQY and SJ, and retaining memories of being an adult made him feel responsible for them — their big brother! SJ still ends up being taken by the Qius and SY tries to rescue him (not sure exactly how that plays out yet except that he’s the one to kill QJL and it’s when he realises that SJ is actually SQQ and that he’s in PIDW).
SY is the one who actually becomes Peak Lord though, with SJ acting as his second-in-command. Even though he’s pretty different to the original, due to having a lot less trauma and a lot more support (although he’s still a bit of a jerk sometimes), SQQ still worries that the original plot will assert itself once LBH comes along, and he doesn’t want his little brother suffering like that, so he comes up with a plan — just keep them as far apart from each other as he can. Unfortunately he’s still got a System so he can’t just put LBH on another peak…
When Luo Binghe first becomes a disciple, he notices pretty quickly that things that are… weird. He becomes a favoured disciple almost immediately even though his shizun is known for being a bit uncaring for his disciples and dismissive of some of them at what seems like random. He hears that SQQ has a younger brother that’s almost never seen — he teaches a few classes, but LBH gets personal lessons from his shizun instead of attending them.
One evening he comes across SJ playing music in a bamboo grove and starts talking to him. SJ doesn’t even seem to know who he is, so his worry that SQQ was keeping him away because he had offended his brother somehow seems to be unfounded… Then SQQ shows up suddenly and he’s angry… but at SJ? LBH doesn’t really want to be the cause of a fight or even around, but SJ seems just as confused as he is.
SQQ is panicking because they’re interacting! He was trying to avoid that! Unfortunately for him, both of them have now realised that there’s something weird going on with him, and as the two people who spend the most time with him, shouldn’t they work together to figure out what it is?
(SQQ saves LQG, SJ fights the second match during the demon invasion, SQQ doesn’t step in to save LBH from Without-A-Cure because he knows he’ll be fine).
In the aftermath, SJ is the one who gets pulled into LBH’s dreamscape and meets Meng Mo, and after that he realises pretty quickly that LBH must be part demon when he asks him if all demons are evil. He also puts the dots together about SQQ not stepping in with Without-A-Cure… he knows LBH is part demon as well, and based on some of his other odd actions, might have some knowledge of the future which could explain his odd actions.
Of course, they don’t know what that future is, only that it seems to be the reason that SQQ doesn’t want the two of them interacting. As a result, LBH starts to feel a bit paranoid about SQQ— is he just being nice because of the future he saw? Is it just an attempt to manipulate him?
So, the IAC is coming up, and SQQ knows that LBH has to go into the abyss and between him and SJ he knows it has to be him who does it (he doesn’t consider that SJ might not do it at all). So, SY asks the ‘would you be willing to face great hardship to become powerful’ question and LBH, knowing that SQQ knows the future, guesses that something is going to go very wrong with the IAC.
Obviously it does, although at least they’re able to be a little prepared for it — SJ is the first one to find LBH when the conference is attacked. Like in canon, MBJ shows up, and there’s a fight, although SJ does a lot better because he doesn’t have a poison holding him back. But in the end, as is his fate in (almost) every timeline, LBH ends up falling into the Abyss anyway.
SQQ comes across the scene at the exact moment the Abyss closes.
SQQ is too focused on what happened in PIDW to see that SJ actually kind of liked LBH, and is upset about loosing him, and ends up attacking him with accusations of pushing LBH in, of being jealous of the time LBH spent with him, of wanting him to fail. Blinded by his own expectations, he only sees the worst in SJ, and it drives a wedge between them that will take years to fix.
to be continued.

Platonic Jack the Ripper x sibling reader?
The reader and Jack’s relationship is quite tight-knit and both of them are protective of each other. They both like to have tea time with each other. The reader can tease Jack for having some kind of feeling towards Hercules. (after the Ragnarok happens and everyone comes back). Which makes Jack fluster in some way. Which will make the reader laugh. As for Hercules who came to have tea, with the siblings. Is confused as to why Jack is bright red and the reader is laughing their butt off.
The reader can be older or younger sibling.
-Jack was very protective of you- the only person he truly loved after he found out what love really was, as he could see it in you, his darling younger sibling.
-You were only a baby when Jack killed Mary, and he took you away to keep you safe and while he struggled, he made sure you never had to face any hardships.
-He kept you out of his occupation, not wanting you to be involved, but he underestimated how smart you really were, and you easily found out once you were older.
-Jack didn’t want you to hate him, that’s what he told you- he didn’t want you to see him as a monster, but he was nothing of the sort, at least to you. He only went after bad people, people who hurt others for their own amusement.
-In Valhalla, the two of you were as close as ever, despite both being adults now, and you would always look up to your brother and he would always dote on and protect you, even if you didn’t need it, as you knew how to protect yourself, courtesy of Jack himself training you.
-Despite how close you both were, you loved to tease each other- he would pick on you for your height, as you were more than a foot shorter than him, and he would tease you about getting crushes, while you teased him for being so vain with his mustache and needing to eat more because he was too skinny.
-In the stadium, besides Anne, you were the only one cheering for your big brother, hands clasped in worry as you watched him fight Hercules.
-Your hands were over your mouth as you watched him be impaled, tears welling in your eyes as your voice caught in your throat.
-Hercules held Jack close, hugging him, “I love humanity, and I know that you at least love one person and that’s why you fought so hard.”
-Hercules fell (but didn’t die- fights are only until opponent is unconscious) back, leaving Jack the winner as your face lit up, cheering loudly.
-The gods were upset that a human won again, but the other humans were at least cheering, as Anne turned to them, after they wanted to berate Jack, “I don’t see none of ya piss stains volunteering to fight! Until you do that- shut yer traps!”
-You ran to the backstage area and you saw Jack stumbling and you ran to him, leaping into his arms as you sobbed loudly, hugging him close.
-Jack chuckled softly, trying to make it not look like he was severely injured, hugging you back.
-You could see, in the infirmary, that Jack kept looking over toward Hercules who was now awake, getting his arm reattached and getting patched up.
-Jack smiled softly, “I have never met someone like him before- he’s such a beautiful shade of color- just like you, Y/N.” he turned and you instantly had a kitty-cat grin on your face, “You like him~~”
-His face instantly flushed as you teased him, finding him adorable as he tried to shush you, but you beamed, “You’re so cute big brother!” he was quick to deny it and you both failed to see Hercules looking over, seeing the two of you poking fun at each other.
-It was weeks later when you heard Jack talking to someone on his phone, you peeked around the corner, seeing your brother with a gentle smile on his lips, “I’ll see you later today Hercules.”
-As he hung up you were quickly singing like a child, “Jack and Hercules kissing in a- hey! Don’t throw stuff!!” Jack was bright red, embarrassed with your teasing, “They’re called throw pillows for a reason!!”
-Hercules arrived at your shared house and when you opened the door, he instantly snorted in laughter, seeing feathers everywhere, as it had devolved into an intense pillow fight. You grinned brightly up at him, “Hiya Hercules! Jack will be ready for your date soon!”
-Hercules look surprised, as they were going out to have tea and discuss books, “Is that what we’ve been doing- dates?” you held your hands over your mouth, “Oopsie! I didn’t know you two weren’t dating yet!”
-Jack was quick to grab you by the back of your shirt and threw you back inside, making you whine on how mean he was- but there was no malice between the two of you, as he grabbed Hercules’ hand, dragging him away while blushing bright red.
-You couldn’t help but grin, seeing them holding hands- your brother was so cute!

I’m Gonna Tell ‘Em (Don’t you Dare)
Ao3
Tim just wanted coffee. That’s really all he desired in life. Coffee. His position as Red Robin. And Wayne Industries to get its shit together for one goddamn day. In that order.
“Are you shitting me? I was a fucking crime lord you little terror, I don’t give a fuck-”
He’d done an all-nighter in the Batcave. Again. Trying to crack a cold case he was sure had something to do with Riddler's vague warning a few nights ago. And he was so close, but his eyes had started to close for just a little too long.
So tell him why he walked into an argument that seemed to be based around the topic of murder, at 7 in the morning. Between Jason and Damian. Who both tried to kill him at least once. Respectively.
“And I am the Demon Prodigy of the League of Assassins. I could kill a man before I could speak.”
Tim stands in the doorway, contemplating if his need for coffee is higher than his potential rate of getting maimed in the dining room.
“Yeah, but you were fucking sheltered inside the bases like goddamn Rapunzel in her-”
“I was not sheltered. You of all people should know of Mother’s harshness for disobedience-“
“Oh and I’m sure you were so disobedient Mr. Goody Two Shoes-“
Ultimately, the urge for coffee wins. Tim crosses the kitchen as unnoticeably as he can, skirting the edges and keeping his footsteps as light as he can manage on 10 hours of sleep in the last week.
He’s busy, okay?
“I’ll admit I wasn’t raised to go against the orders of a higher-up but that did not mean-”
“Bull. Fucking. Shit.”
“Did my propensity for sneaking animals into the house escaped your notice? I thought you were better trained-“
“So what? You save every bird with a broken wing you come across, but you’d willingly slit the throat of a human?”
“Yes, Todd. That’s exactly what I’m saying.”
The coffee pot is half full. Tim counts this as the one redeeming factor of this morning. The threat of getting stabbed is nothing in the face of sweet, sweet caffeine.
“What’s your fucking number then?”
“I can’t possibly know the exact-“
“Oh no, you don’t get to pull that shit on me-“
Tim considers pouring himself a cup, but he’s gonna drink the whole thing anyway and he’s exhausted enough to zone out during Alfred’s inevitable lecture, so he takes the whole pot and tips it back.
“I was sent out for missions when I was barely more than a toddler. You can’t expect me to remember every-“
“Ra’s had files on every fucking mission I did while brain dead and high on Lazarus rage, there’s no fucking way he didn’t have an exact-“
Tim chugs his precious coffee. The temperature is surprisingly cool enough that he doesn't immediately burn his tongue. Not that a few scorched taste buds would stop Tim from inhaling the only thing between him and unconscious. But it’s the thought that counts.
“What’s yours then, Todd?”
“Nope. Not until you tell me yours first. I’m not about to have you raise the number because I told you mine.”
“That’s preposterous. I would do no such thing.”
Tim calculates his chances of making it back out of the kitchen with a quarter pot of coffee in his hands and decides his caffeine fix is safer off with a few counters between him and his homicidal brothers.
And yah know. His physical well-being. But that’s pretty low on his ‘fucks to give list’ at the moment.
“I don’t trust a fucking word coming out of your mouth-“
“There’s an easy way to settle this if you’d just-“
“What? Shut up? Drop the argument? No fucking-“
“We can write it down separately and then show it to each other at the same time."
“…huh.”
Tim looks up in genuine fear when both of his siblings go quiet. That’s never a good sign. Not in this house.
There’s a window to his right that he could probably smash through if it came to it.
Neither of them are looking at him though, just regarding each other with much less animosity than a few seconds ago. Tim decides he’s probably fine and goes back to his coffee.
“I will go retrieve a piece of paper and two pens.”
Damian leaves the room and Tim freezes like if he stays still enough it’ll keep Jason from noticing him. Unfortunately, now that his older brother’s attention is directed to his surroundings and not just screaming at a 12-year-old, he makes direct eye contact with Tim.
“Oh hey, Timmers. How long have you been here?”
Tim stares at him blankly. He- doesn’t know what answer Jason wants from him and he’s not willing to face his older brother’s wrath if he’d been having what he thought was a private conversation.
“Sorry about the noise. I hope we didn’t wake you up.” Jason says after it’s clear that he isn't getting answers out of Tim.
As if the manor isn’t literally soundproofed. For this exact reason.
Tim’s 17 years of social etiquette training won’t let him just not answer the open-ended comment, but god does he wish that it did.
“No, I was already up.”
Jason nods as if he was expecting that answer. Which is fair. Tim’s sure he looks just as tired as he feels. His eye bags could hold all of his emotional trauma. They’re Guchi.
“And does Alfred know you’re drinking straight from the pot?” Jason motions to the carafe Tim’s clutching like a lifeline. Because it is.
Tim opens his mouth to lie through his teeth, but is saved by Damian’s re-entry. Wow, he’s never been so glad to see his stab-happy younger brother.
True to his word, the kid’s carrying a few pieces of paper and pens. Tim could leave now. He could casually walk right past them, out of the kitchen, and back to the cave to keep working on his case, but dammit, he’s invested now.
He’s still not sure what this argument is about exactly, but he’s willing to wait a few more minutes to satiate his curiosity now that he’s tentatively sure that the argument isn’t going to evolve into physical violence.
“I’ve acquired the tools to finish this once and for all, Todd.” Damian announces, sliding half of his spoils to Jason.
“Great. We’ll write our body count down and on 3 we’ll turn ‘em around. Got it?”
“Don’t tell me what to do” Damian grumbles, but writes dutifully anyway. The kid would be funny if he didn’t back his threats up with swords.
Tim is. Still lost, but he’s always secretly wondered how many people his brothers have killed. In a morbid way. Mostly because he wants to know if the murder attempts on him were a particularly special event or just a pattern. For his mental health's sake.
“Got it?” Jason asks, holding his paper close to his chest so no one can peek. Tim doesn’t know who would, considering he’s the only one in the kitchen that’s not a part of this squabble, but Damian copies the movement and Tim finds himself inching closer, taking the last swig of his coffee.
“One.”
“Two.”
“Three!”
They flip the papers around and for a moment the kitchen is quiet.
“FUCK YEAH!” Jason pumps his fist in the air with a whoop. “Ha! Take that, Demon Brat! I’m the Robin with the highest kill count!”
Tim spits out his coffee and coughs violently. It’s partially because he got some in his lungs, but also to cover the incredulous laughter bursting uncontrollably out of him. It takes him a good few seconds to get his breathing under control, but when he looks up, his brothers are staring at him.
For a moment he’s tempted. So fucking tempted. Because he hasn’t told anyone anything more than bits and pieces about his time with the League. Hell, the only reason his family even knows about his little stint playing lap dog for Ra’s, is because he choked out a vague explanation about his missing spleen when he went into sepsis.
They don’t know about the missions he was sent on. The people he sold out. And most importantly, the multiple bases he blew up because he was crazier than the Joker after Bart and Kon’s death and then the near miss with Bruce.
The bases he absolutely didn’t evacuate. With hundreds of people inside. A few actually avalanched down mountainsides, and he’d eat his Batarang if any of them survived.
The only word he’d confidently use to describe his mental state then, is feral.
He didn’t have to blow them up. He really didn’t. A good few of the bases he’d never actually seen before he snuck in to level the place, but he’d been having a shitty year so naturally, he was going to make sure Ra’s got to have one too.
Not to mention that Tim was as depressed as he’d ever been and wasn’t particularly giving a lot of fucks about if he died during his warpath. He’d already lost a spleen, what were a few more organs?
So this argument? This competition? He finds it objectively fucking hilarious.
Damian and Jason are still staring at him in bewilderment, and for a moment -just a wild moment- he thinks about telling them.
Explaining how he was just. So done. And could only think of one way out, so he systematically hacked into every base he could get his hands on. Stole as many files as he could during his time constraint. And then blew all of them sky-high.
Thought about telling them how on one particularly bad night, gone through every log of the people in those bases. How he hadn’t been ‘sick’ as he claimed the week after he managed to crawl out of his safe house.
He was just too horrified to look anyone in the eye.
It would be funny to watch his family’s expressions go through the five stages of grief and add a few more just for funsies, if they even believed him at all. But no. Tim had his secrets and he was going to take them to the grave.
He grinned at his brothers, patted Jason on the shoulder with a quiet congratulations, and strolled out of the kitchen.
Tim had cases to solve and letting his family assume he wasn’t capable of murder was better for all of them in the long run.
No matter how wrong they were.

In my defense. Writing prompts make the brain noodle go brr. You can blame @coffinbirds and @batcavescolony for these posts.

Close my eyes for a while Force from the world a patient smile
Buggy says something he regrets to his older sister. Rating: PG Warning: Angst. Injury, blood, siblings not getting long. Buggy cries a lot. He's ten in this, sister is 15. Sister has hair and nose like Buggy, that's just what happened. A/N: A request for older sister Buggy from @chochotorianime10. I had fun with the Ragdoll name because I just recently looked up ragdoll cats. This is just over 8 pages long too. I like the drama. Also I'm the youngest of four and I was very much a bratty younger sibling if my older brothers tried to tell me what to do so I channeled that into Buggy being a brat.
Title comes from "I Gave You All" by Mumford and Songs.
Tumblr media
“Brush your damn teeth, Buggy!”
“Make me!”
“Oh, really, you’re going to say that to me?”
You grabbed Buggy by the back of his shirt before he could take off running. The ten year old hated that you bossed him around like this, especially in front of the crew, but you were five years older than him. You raised him from the time you were eight until you were all but adopted by the Roger pirates when you were ten and he was five.  Buggy was as stubborn as they come and he wasn’t going to let his sister tell him what to do now that he was double digits in age.
“Rags, not brushing his teeth once won’t kill him.” Shanks said, trying to diffuse the situation, but you rounded on the red head boy next. Roger gave you the name you now went by, having never remembered your original name as Buggy only ever called you Sis. Being called Ragdoll was the name the captain gave you when you attacked Roger the day you met him with the fierceness of a mama cat protecting her kitten, and once he got to know you, he claimed you were like a Ragdoll cat. You seemed scary but you were actually pretty friendly when you wanted to be.
“Do not call me that.” You snarled as you grabbed the front of his shirt with your free hand while restraining your little brother with the other. “And you need to do the same, you straw hat brat. Both of you need to maintain some basic hygiene! I don’t want to hear you cryin’ to Crocus about your damn teeth hurting because you didn’t want to brush them one time!”
It was frustrating how you ended up being the babysitter of these two at night. Buggy always started it up, refusing to brush his teeth, take care of his hair, even wash his face, and then Shanks would try to involve himself which would result in you having to do double duty in making sure the two boys were ready for bed. Why did you end up raising two boys instead of one? You pushed them along to get their toothbrushes, grumbling about bratty kids while the crew snickered.
“Take it easy, Ragdoll. They’re just boys.” One of the men said. “They don’t need constant watchin’.”
You glared at him as you walked past. “Yea? Watch yourself. I need a new scratching post, shithead.”
“I don’t need you bossing me around, sis!” Buggy complained as he stomped along to go brush his teeth. “I can take care of myself!” He shot a glare in your direction but you just crossed your arms, unimpressed as you watched to make sure both he and Shanks brushed their teeth, washed their face, and at least brushed their hair a bit. Once you were satisfied you pointed to the cot they shared.
“Bed.”
“It’s too early! That’s not fair!” Shanks complained, but you didn’t budge, still pointing at their cot. Buggy glared at you and crossed his arms.
“I hate this, I don’t need you telling me what to do!” The ten year old snapped. “I wish you’d go away and leave me alone! You don’t even need to be on the crew, I don’t need you to take care of me!”
“Yea? Who’s going to take care of you then if I’m not here, Buggy?” You snapped back.
“I can take care of myself!” Buggy shrieked as he stomped his foot. “I wish you’d go away! I hate having you around me!”
“The feeling is starting to be mutual, y’know!” You shot back as your patience grew thinner with each word he said. “Now get to bed, Buggy! You too, Shanks!”
Buggy clenched his fists as he glared at you. “I hate you! I wish you’d leave me alone forever!”
As soon as he said the words, Buggy regretted it. Shanks looked shocked. He had been a witness to you two going at each other many times, you and Buggy would trade petty little jabs at each other, but he never said that to you before. Buggy looked at you nervously. You were just standing there, still pointing at the cot.
“Bed.” Your tone was empty and Buggy didn’t like the way you were looking at him. It was the same as before, there was no change after he spoke to you that way. You must hate him now, you were going to leave him. He didn’t actually want that.
“Wait, Sis-”
You turned and left, shutting the door quietly behind you. Buggy ignored Shanks trying to say something to him as he stomped over to his side of the cot and climbed under the blanket, pulling it over his head. He didn’t want Shanks to see him cry, but it wasn’t like he was going to, right? He wanted you to leave him alone, but maybe not forever. He just was mad about having a bedtime when the rest of the crew got to stay up late, and you didn’t have a bedtime either. Why did he and Shanks have to miss out on all the fun stories and songs the crew exchanged while they had to be in bed?
Maybe you’d forget it in the morning.
~
You woke the two of them up for breakfast and that was it. You didn’t stick around to make sure Buggy got dressed or had his shoes on the correct feet. He noticed a hole in his shirt and he wondered why you didn’t say anything. You were always on top of that kind of thing, always taking care of him, making sure he was fed, his clothes were mended, and that he had his hat and shoes on each day before breakfast. You took care of him and… it was nice.
Were you still mad about the night before?
When he and Shanks showed up for breakfast, you weren’t there. The boys sat near Roger and Rayleigh, listening to them talk about sending a party off to an island to check it out before the rest of them followed, to see if it was even worth going to. The boys perked up at the chance of adventure but Rayleigh shook his head.
“Too dangerous. Ragdoll and three others are going.” He told them as he ate his breakfast. Buggy’s jaw dropped. Why did his sister get to go if it was too dangerous? As if reading his mind, Rayleigh continued, “She volunteered.”
“Why?!”
“Why don’t you ask her when she gets back?” Roger chuckled. He knew why: you had come to him the night before asking to do something to get off the ship and have a break from your little brother for a while. The two of you needed some space, whether a few hours or a few days. You didn’t tell him what Buggy said, it was too trivial for Roger to hear. Nothing more than a tantrum from a ten year old.
“When is she gettin’ back?” Buggy asked as he poked at his food.
“A few days.” The Captain said. “She won’t be around to tell you what to do! That’s gotta be nice, right, Buggy?”
Buggy frowned and nodded. It would be nice, right? Maybe he wouldn’t have a bedtime, or have to brush his teeth every night before bed. Sure, there were times you’d give him a hug before he went to bed and kissed him on the forehead, even Shanks got to have that, but only you would hug him if he had a nightmare to make him feel better, sometimes singing a song you remembered hearing once before, unsure if the words were correct, but Buggy liked it because you only did that for him.
~
He and Shanks still had a bedtime. Rayleigh insisted on it. It was a long few days and Buggy wasn’t going to admit it but he missed having you around on the ship. The first night was fine, but the second night was a little harder because he couldn’t sleep, wondering what you were seeing on the island and wondered what kind of treasure you’d find. Would you share it with him? Did you forget what he said to you? He didn’t hate you, not really.
The third night he had a nightmare. You didn’t come back, choosing to stay on the island, but there was a monster on the island that was hunting you. Only Buggy could see it and he kept trying to tell you to run away from it, that it was going to hurt you, but you wouldn’t listen to him. He woke up just as the shapeless monster attacked, the screams in his dream replaying in his mind as he tried to calm himself down. Shanks was still asleep beside him, oblivious to his friend’s distress, but it was for the better. He didn’t need Shanks to see him like this.
Buggy settled back down, trying to relax so he could fall back asleep, but there was movement on the main deck. Someone was shouting, there was the sound of footsteps thundering across the deck. Was something going on? There was no one to stop him, so Buggy got out of bed and slipped his shoes on to go see what was happening. Maybe you were back with mountains of treasure from the island, and maybe you decided not to leave Buggy behind after all and you two could stay together on the ship.
He got to the main deck. Lanterns were lit, Several men were pulling something up onto the deck from the water below. Buggy’s eyes lit up. It had to be treasure you and the others found. Why else would everyone be up and moving? He saw Captain Roger and Rayleigh standing with Crocus, the latter kneeling down beside something as he spoke with a quiet voice. Was he inspecting the treasure? Buggy made his way over to them, curious to see what you brought back to the ship. He didn’t see you yet, but you were probably on the dinghy down below, getting the treasure up to the ship.
Crocus saw him first and barked for someone to stop Buggy from coming closer. One of the crewmen listened, pulling Buggy back while others moved to the doctor, listening to his orders of what to do. They tried to hide what they were moving from Buggy, but he caught the flash of blue hair, same as his own, and his stomach dropped.
“What happened?!” He demanded as he tried to pull away from the crewman. “What happened to her?!”
“Let him go.” Roger ordered. “Let him sit with her while Crocus tends to her.”
The crewman listened and Buggy didn’t wait, darting over to the stretcher and pushing his way through to look at you. If it wasn’t for the hair and nose, he wouldn’t have known it was you. The deep gashes all along your body almost left you unrecognizable. Buggy followed along, keeping a hand on the cot near your own, not wanting to touch you in case he hurt you. He listened to one of the men from your party tell the Captain what happened.
There was already another pirate crew on the island when you landed. They didn’t hesitate in attacking, your party was outnumbered, and you fought back until the blood loss became too much. They managed to bring you back, though the outlook was grim. Once you were in the infirmary, Crocus went to work, checking your wounds over while Buggy stayed at your side.
“She’s going to be okay, right?” He asked as Crocus looked over the largest wound, the one across your chest. He glanced up at the boy and said nothing. Buggy sniffed and wiped at his eyes. “You’ll fix her, right?”
“I’m not promising anything.” Crocus told him as he started to clean the wounds. Buggy glared at him as tears welled up in his eyes.
“You’re a doctor, you’re supposed to fix people!” Buggy cried. “F-Fix my sister!”
“Let him work, it’ll be fine.” Roger clapped Buggy on the shoulder and chuckled. “She’ll be up in no time bossing you around again!”
Buggy nodded, not seeing the look the captain and doctor shared. He picked up your hand in his, holding it carefully. It was cold, the warmth he expected to find wasn’t there. You would be okay. You always were.
~
Rayleigh didn’t let Buggy off the hook for his chores, so he did them without much fuss. He didn’t want to wake you up because Crocus said you needed to sleep if you were going to get better. He had done what he could by stitching up the wounds and bandaging you. Buggy had never seen that many bandages on one person before, but you had a lot of injuries from the other pirates. He asked every hour if you were going to wake up soon, when you were going to get better, and the doctor had more patience for the questions than he normally would have had.
Buggy was at your side any chance he had, holding your hand as he talked to you, wiping your face with a wet cloth like you made him do every night before bed, and he even brushed your hair. You had dealt so much with tangles in the boys’ hair when they were younger that you had insisted they start brushing it at night before bed. Buggy hated when you picked the tangles and snarls out of his hair, it had hurt a lot, but it was less now that he brushed it every night before bed, especially since his hair was getting longer like yours. He wanted to make sure you didn’t have to deal with tangles in your own hair once you woke up.
“Ragdoll’s gonna pull through.” Shanks said on the third night while he and Buggy had their dinner beside the cot. “Remember when she snuck the mama cat and her kittens on board? She got scratched up really bad but she was okay!”
Buggy only nodded, not paying attention to his food as he watched you to see if you were going to wake up. Crocus said it could happen any day now, that was just this morning, so Buggy had his eyes on you any chance he got so he would be the first person you saw. He wanted to tell you he liked having you around, that you were a good big sister, because one of the last things he said was that he hated you. He wanted one of the first things he said to you when you woke up was nice, not mean, because that would make it right.
“She lost a lot of blood, though.” Shanks added as he ate his own food. “But she’ll be fine.”
Buggy shot him a look. “Of course she’ll be fine! She’s-She’s been beat up worse than this!” He tried to ignore the burning feeling of tears in his eyes. “She’s as strong as the captain, she’ll be better soon and she’s gonna make us brush our teeth again and go to bed on time, ‘cause that’s what she’s supposed to be doing, not sleeping!”
“She’s supposed to sleep to feel better.” Shanks frowned. “It’s what Crocus said.”
“I know that!” Buggy shot back as tears rolled down his cheeks. “Once she’s done sleeping, she’ll be better, okay?! Because she has to get better, she’s got stuff to do like chores and other things!”
Shanks nodded, looking down at you with a frown. “What if she doesn’t wake up?”
“Shut up, Shanks!” Buggy snapped at him. “She’s trying to sleep and you keep talking!”
“You’re talking too!”
“Just shut up!”
“Boys.”
Buggy and Shanks turned to see Rayleigh and Roger standing there. The boys immediately stopped, though Buggy was still crying.
“Finish eating and get ready for bed.” Rayleigh told them, his tone leaving no room for argument. “You need to get some sleep, Buggy, otherwise you may end up in the infirmary as well.”
Buggy wiped away the tears as he sniffed. That didn’t sound like a bad idea if it meant he could be near you to make sure you were okay. He didn’t want to leave but Rayleigh was ushering him and Shanks out while Roger took a seat beside the bed.
The two boys got ready for bed, not speaking to each other. Rayleigh made sure they brushed their teeth, washed their face, changed clothes, and even brushed their hair. Buggy crawled into bed, pulling his blanket over his head once more. He had been sleeping like that since you came back. He didn’t want Shanks to see him cry, though there he was certain the other boy could hear him, even though he never said a word about it.
Rayleigh left them alone after that. Buggy said nothing, remaining under the covers. He just wanted you to wake up at this point because he wanted a hug. You always gave him the best hugs and he didn’t want to ask anyone else for one. He sniffed, wiping his eyes and nose on his shirt before he settled down and tried to sleep.
~
Buggy woke up to someone touching his face with something damp. He scrunched his face up and tried to pull the blankets back over his head but something was preventing him. He just wanted to sleep and he wondered if Shanks was doing something, so he finally opened his eyes, ready to yell at his friend to knock it off, when he saw you looking down at him. Buggy could only stare up at you, wondering if you were really there or if he was having a dream. Were you dead? Was this a ghost in front of him?
“Hey, didn’t mean to wake you.” You whispered as you set the cloth down. You were moving stiffly, no doubt from sleeping the last few days. Buggy was in shock, not speaking as he waited to wake up from the dream. “Y’know, this is the quietest you’ve ever been when awake, Buggy.”
He grabbed your hand, holding it in his own as he made sure you were real. Your hand was warmer than before. He moved your fingers around, touched your fingernails. You closed your hand over his, squeezing gently as it sank in that it really was you sitting with him. He crawled out of the covers and wrapped his arms around you, hugging you tightly as he began sobbing loudly.
“I’msorryimsorryimsorry-”
“Shh, shh, s’okay.” You insisted as you hugged him carefully; everything was still stiff and healing. “I’m here, Buggy, s’okay.”
“I don’t hate you!” He cried. “I don’t, I didn’t mean it, please don’t leave me!”
You glanced over, noticing Shanks was awake, his eyes on the two of you. You reached over and patted the redhead on the shoulder before turning your attention back to your brother. He was clinging to you, face pressed against your shoulder as he cried, apologies spilling out of his mouth in between gasps for breath. You needed to be careful, Crocus didn’t want you out of bed yet but you didn’t care, you wanted to make sure Buggy was okay. He was the first thing you asked for when you woke up a few hours ago.
“I know, I don’t hate you either and I won’t leave you.” You assured him as you let your head rest against his. He was worked up, not likely to fall back asleep any time soon. If you weren’t in such a poor state you would let him sleep in your cot for the night, but you weren’t supposed to do much of anything. “I’ll stay in here tonight with you two, okay?”
Buggy lifted his head up, the tears still streaming down his face, snot dripping from his nose. “R-Really?”
“Make some room, kiddo.” You said as you wiped his face with the damp cloth once more. “Crocus doesn’t want me doin’ much.”
Sniffling, Buggy and Shanks both scooted over, letting you get comfortable in the middle. Buggy beside you in seconds, clinging to you as he made sure you really were there and not just a dream. Shanks looked relieved as well, poking your cheek to make sure you weren’t a ghost. You swatted at him gently and he settled down beside you.
“‘Msorry.” Buggy mumbled again as he started to relax against you. “I don’t hate you, Sis.”
“I know, get some sleep.” You told him as you kissed him on the forehead. He lifted his head up, eyes red and his face stained with tears.
“I love that you’re my sis.” He mumbled as he lowered his head back down. “Don’t leave me again.”
“I won’t leave you.” You assured him as you pulled him closer. “I love that you’re my brother, now get some rest. I’ll wake you up for breakfast.”
Buggy nodded, resting his head on your shoulder as he gazed up at you. You really were okay, you still loved having him as your brother, and you weren’t going to leave him. Maybe tomorrow he could bring you breakfast in bed since you were still getting better, like what you’d done for him whenever he wasn’t feeling well. He’d take care of you, make sure you got better, because he wanted to help you like you had helped him out so many times before, because he was lucky to have a big sister like you.

Here’s a part 2 to the Assassin x Civilian AU. But this time in Charlie’s perspective :D
I wasn’t expecting this AU to be doing do well, but thank you for the kind words! And once again, I am giving full permission for this to be used for art, fanfics, etc. Just tag me and give a small credit, I’d want to see and share it :)
Charlie is a trained killer.
And so was the father that came before him.
His father was actually the one who had trained him. Out of his seven siblings, he saw the most potential in Charlie.
At the age of ten, he was taught how to yield a knife. At twelve, he fired his first bullet to his first kill. At fifteen, he was effective enough to take contracts. Now at twenty four, he’s practically unstoppable.
Which is probably why he was hired to take down an entire function, a gala of some sort, with elites and politicians who may or may have not made the world just a bit more cruel. Either way, Charlie does as what he does best.
Charlie likes to hide in plain sight. No disguises. No masks. Nothing but a pair of glasses on his face. He took advantage of the fact that he is plain-looking, that he is just a random guy you’d normally come across a nearby street.
At this function, he simply appeared in a suit and only a course of action in his mind.
Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan. Because there are some things Charlie can’t control. And one of them is a random man who isn’t on the guest list.
Immediately, Charlie is suspicious. Maybe he is someone hired to kill him. Maybe he is there to stop him and his plans. Maybe he is there as bait. All these hypotheticals, until Charlie decided to engage and confront him himself.
“You’re not from here, are you?”
The stranger has also been staring at this painting three glasses of wine ago.
He turns, wide-eyed and nervous. Caught.
He laughs. “Is it obvious?”
And his voice, filled with anxious conviction. His words heavily accented. Charlie could easily tell he’s not supposed to be here, yet he somehow found his way anyway.
That alone, intrigues Charlie, more than any contract and any negotiations he partook in. The man’s reason clicks in his head right away.
He’s only here for free wine.
“Maybe a little. You’ve been staring at this painting for the past fifteen minutes. I’m trying to figure out what’s so interesting about it.” Well, Charlie can spare a few minutes of conversation with someone he isn’t there to kill at least.
“You are watching me?” The stranger asks.
Charlie has to. He has to keep track of every guest and every person in the room.
“I’ve never seen you before.” He answered. Because it was easier to admit that the stranger is more interesting to look at than what his purpose was. “I would’ve recognized you if I had.”
The stranger catches on quickly, and he, too, gives in to the flirting. “Really?”
Which is probably why the deadly assassin like him, just casually dropped his name right after, with an extended hand and all.
“I’m Charlie.”
“Mariana.” The other man introduces.
They stare at each other and their handshake lingers for a second much longer.
There are some things Charlie can’t control. Meeting Mariana becomes second to his plan being compromised. Laughing and flirting with him becomes third. Kissing him on the balcony becomes fourth.
He had to forcibly yank himself away with his heart pounding in his ears and emotions mirroring in each other’s dilated eyes.
Charlie is a trained killer. No bullet to the head or a dagger to the heart has fazed him. Not violence nor death could make him flinch. But the thought of Mariana getting involved and becoming collateral in his life is enough to set something inside him on fire.
“You should go home.” He says firmly. “Don’t stay here any longer. Go home.”
Charlie wants to pull him back, kiss him again and ease the visible rejection forming in Mariana’s eyes. But there’s still a room full of people he has to kill.
Maybe when this contract is over and done with, he’ll come back to him.
Until then, Charlie has a job to do.

I was inspired to write some Billy and Max wingmanning for each other because of this post from @11willgrahamseyes11 because why not?
Imagine it’s post S3 where Billy survived and Max just found out that Neil had left Hawkins. She heads to the hospital to tell her brother, because that’s what he was, that his dad had just skipped town to avoid paying medical bills he wasn’t even going to be charged for.
“Neil left?”
“Yeah. I’m sorry, Billy.”
“Figures he got sick of having a queer disabled freak for a son.” Billy scoffed.
Max slapped his shoulder, confident enough to do so after months of proper communication, bonding and actually getting to be siblings and not each other’s burdens to bear.
“Hey! Don’t talk about my brother that way, asshole. And anyway, Neil would have eventually realized he had two queer kids and he’d probably have run even faster.”
Billy eyes snapped to hers.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
A peaceful moment of silence passed before Billy broke it.
“Is it that psychic chick, the one that’s dating Wheeler?”
Max immediately bristled.
“How’d you know?”
“Let’s just say I know what it feels like to pine after someone who’s in love with a Wheeler.”
Max took a good minute to think before it finally clicked.
“Steve? You like Steve?”
“Don’t be so loud, Maxie! But, yeah, I like Steve. Anything wrong with that?”
“A lot. Steve’s a dumbass, Billy.”
“Hey! I think it’s cute. Anyway, that El girl isn’t the most talkative girl in the world.”
“But I like that about her.”
“Well, I guess we’re both saps for people who’ll never like us back.”
“I don’t know. I think I might have a chance if I can convince her to break up with her boyfriend.”
“Don’t you have a boyfriend?”
“Lucas? I broke up with him months ago after he didn’t even try to give you a chance to apologize. If he wanted to get me back, he knew what he should have done and if he doesn’t want to, then good riddance.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. After all, it’s me and you against the world, right, Kill Bill?”
“It’s me and you against the world, Mad Max.”
Since Billy wanted at least one of them to get their happy ending, he gets Max to ask El if she was willing to visit Billy so they could talk about the memories she’s seen and of course, El agrees.
Billy hasn't really had any visitors outside of Max ever since he was admitted into the hospital due to him being in the PICU for the first three months and only allowing a limited number of people inside to visit him. It's been another three months since he was moved to a regular room and the doctors had just cleared Billy to receive more visitors but to keep them to 2-4 people to avoid overcrowding.
None of his so-called friends actually visited but he had somewhat expected it. Tommy had promised to visit after sending a letter checking in but he and Carol were busy at the college their dads bought them into so it left the basketball team who stopped by after practice once to tell him how badly they were doing without him and how they couldn't wait to have him on the court again.
None of Max's friends have been by either but Billy heard from Max about a big fight they'd had regarding Billy and how the boys refused to think that Billy was anything but evil, forcing Max, El and Will to branch away because Will was hurt since he'd also been possessed and therefore, just as evil and El hated how they treated Billy as a monster when he was just as much a victim as she was.
Hopper doesn't really trust Billy but after he allows it on the condition that Max stays in the room which Billy doesn't fight. They have a nice chat about the memories, most of which Max wasn't aware of but it actually helps them since Billy's willing to trust Max enough to bare his soul to her willingly.
After they have an emotional talk about bad fathers who need to be kept out of their lives as well as absent mothers who tried, Billy shifts the conversation more to school because he's been helping Max keep on top of her classes so he offered the same to El.
Max quickly corrects Billy and tells him that El was homeschooled due to her not being allowed to study because of the lab. Billy has the bright idea of tutoring El during the day since he wasn't really doing anything and he was bored out of his mind and running out of books to read that Max would borrow from the library for him.
It would not only give him something to do but also a way to see if Max actually had a chance that didn't involve Max getting hurt. He could also help El who seemed like she really did need help, just like he did.
Of course, they ran it past Hopper who initially wanted nothing to do with Billy Hargrove until Max told him the truth about Neil. Hopper was eventually worn down by El who was tired of being stuck at the cabin with no one to talk to and he agreed under the condition that he'd be there during the first few sessions.
Once Hopper was there, he took the sessions as a chance to confirm what El said and when he really, truly looked at Billy, he saw a reflection of the kid he used to be, abused and alone and he realized why El had wanted to get to know Billy and to be his friend.
It also didn't hurt that Billy was an honors student who used to tutor in California during the weekdays for extra cash and he was used to being a tutor and helping students with their studies.
Hopper worked out a deal with Billy that El would come over three times a week when she was supposed to have school and he would help her for a daily rate.
She progressed in leaps and bounds under someone who was used to working around certain hang-ups and Billy was able to help El, whom he commonly called Jane or Janie to find a way of studying that worked for her that wasn't just reading books and answering worksheets.
Her progress astounded the newly together Joyce and Hopper, leading to her asking if Billy could do the same for Will since he wasn't really talking to the other boys.
Soon, Billy's hospital room became the trio's common hang-out spot after school, with Will and Max either biking, skating or walking together so that they could get help on their homework from Billy after he and El were done with their lessons for the day.
The entire time that Billy had been tutoring the kids, he'd been observing the interactions between El and Max and it really did seem like his little sister had a chance. Of course, there was still the tiny hang-up in the form of Mike Wheeler and Lucas Sinclair who apparently still didn't get the hint that their respective relationships were over.
Since El, Max and Will were all comfortable with Billy, once they were done with their homework and lessons, they usually talked about anything under the sun to help El be more familiar with popular culture and how the world worked so one day, Billy slyly got the conversation to head towards gender expression and sexuality.
He'd learned a lot in California that he couldn't really put into practice in Hawkins but he was reasonably sure that these three kids in particular would be able to accept him and would actually benefit from what he said.
Billy had ended up coming out of the closet to the kids who swore to keep it a secret and he answered any and all questions they had. El was surprised that women could be with other women and men could be with other men or with multiple people because all Hopper and Mike had ever told her was that boys went with girls and vice versa.
This led to Will and El to question their sexualities and to realize that maybe they weren't as straight as they assumed. Will was definitely getting a case of hero worship for the older teen and it showed when he got home, enough that Joyce was able to paint a clear picture of Billy's life which she didn't like.
She came to visit him once without El to confirm her assumptions and she made sure to tell him that he was always welcome at their house after everything he's done for them. Billy had teared up and he'd gotten his first hug from a mom in months since Susan had ended up falling into a pit of alcoholism again.
Joyce had reamed Hopper afterwards for not being able to help Billy beforehand and how Hopper would have to make things up to Billy after he was discharged. Joyce would keep visiting Billy, often bringing food to share and occasionally, bringing Hopper along with her to help the bigger man to see Billy as she saw him, a lonely kid in need of parental guidance.
Almost a whole school year passed with an increase in the tension between Max and El but no action on either side of the pair. Will was El's confidant and he was slowly going crazy about how El ranted and raved about how pretty and smart Max was without doing anything about it.
Billy, on the other hand, was tired about hearing all about how cute and adorable El was from his little sister and while he had partially caused this to happen, he also didn't want to keep hearing about it.
So, Billy made plans. He was getting discharged pretty soon and his physical therapy was going pretty well, enough that he was looking to be in shape and back to peak condition in a few months and that he was being allowed behind the wheel.
Truth be told, Billy had fully recovered by the time he started tutoring the kids but the doctors and scientists still couldn't understand why he was still alive and how he had survived. The past few months were heavily focused on physical and mental therapy to help him get over the ordeal and to be able to live a normal life.
Billy would be forced to take his senior year a year late but he didn't mind since it would allow him to be able to watch the kids for their first year in high school, enough to at least protect them from the worst of it after hearing how badly Will had been bullied before.
The first thing Billy did after getting out of the hospital was to get Hopper to take him to his fully repaired car so he could get over the mental block of being behind the wheel and actually being in control.
After going around town with Joyce in the front seat, cheering him on, he went to pick up the kids on their last day of middle school so they could celebrate.
The entirety of Hawkins was shocked to find Billy Hargrove driving his signature Camaro, thinner and more lithe than before but happier than they had ever seen him, picking up his little sister and spinning her in a hug and immediately pulling Will "the Fairy" Byers into an other hug after.
The rest of the party watched in awe and shock at the scene, not knowing that Will had even talked to Billy after everything. Steve was also equally in shock but it also felt like the first time he had ever seen Billy Hargrove.
After, Billy stopped by the new Byers-Hopper house to pick up El and he invited Jonathan to come with them for dinner at the diner where Joyce and Hopper would meet them. He and Jonathan had had a few conversations since he'd come to the hospital to pick up and drop off Will, El or both of the teens and they'd come to bond over shitty fathers and the small overlap of the musicians they liked.
Weirdly enough, it was the exact same diner that Steve had brought the other boys to celebrate their last day of school since it was beside the arcade. Billy had been half tempted to leave but having Max by his side made him brave enough to brave the stares that followed him.
He hadn't let their glares get in the way of his first real meal outside of the hospital and he enjoyed dinner for the first time in a long time surrounded by people who cared about him.
After he paid using some of the government’s compensation, Max managed to convince him to show El the ropes in the arcade because he had been the one who had taught her most of the tricks that she used to get the high score.
The boys and Steve couldn't help their curiosity once Billy and the rest of the kids entered the arcade and they watched from a distance as Billy blew all of the high scores on all of the machines out of the water without even breaking a sweat.
Max saw this as the perfect time to set her brother up with his crush so she tricked Steve into agreeing into a competition on the basketball shooting game with Billy. Having them play side-by-side ignited the adrenaline rush that Steve used to feel when he was playing against Billy but this time, he was happy and excited and not angry.
By the end of 5 rounds, Billy had trounced him completely but Steve took his defeat graciously, even offering a rematch in swimming in his heated pool.
While the boys were having their friendly competition, the rest of the party, namely Dustin, Lucas and Mike were apologizing to Will, Max and El about not believing them when it came to Billy. It was obvious to see that he had changed a lot from the person he used to be and they wanted their friends back.
Max and subsequently El refused to accept their apology until Billy accepted their apology but Will quickly forgave his childhood best friends. Will had missed playing D&D with his friends and being able to talk them and not just to his family, including his new sister and her crush.
As soon as the friendly competition between Billy and Steve was over, the boys apologized to Billy who decided to be the bigger person and accept it while also apologizing for how he used to be.
Billy's made leaps and bounds of progress in therapy as to why he was the way he was and he was well on his way to become the person he wanted to be which meant forgiveness and understanding on both sides of the party.
The next weekend, Billy got permission from Joyce and Hopper to take El and Max to the mall in the next town over so he could finally get them to go on a date. Of course, Max hijacked his plans by subtly inviting Will to get the boys to watch a movie and of course, have Steve drive them.
While the boys were watching a movie, Steve was wandering aimlessly just as Billy was and in a small mall in Indiana, they were bound to cross paths. Steve couldn't help but want to get to know this new Billy so they ate a snack together at the food court and they passed a few hours getting to know each other.
The mall trip was a success on both ends because Max was finally brave enough to ask El to be her girlfriend while Steve was brave enough to set a date on the swimming rematch they planned to have.
It took a few months of summer loving before Steve finally worked the courage to kiss Billy and ask him to be his boyfriend but he eventually got there even if he had needed the intervention of the party because they were tired of his pining.
The Mayfield-Hargrove siblings were good wingmen to each other and they had a 100% success rate in stealing partners from the Wheelers.

-As number one (but even before that) Marcus tries hard to be equally neutral with all his siblings but he gives you special treatment and the others can tell
-He tends to send you to less dangerous spots during missions when possible
-Back in the pre-pills days he’d always subtly come to your defence whenever Reginald was vexed at you
-You don’t exactly trust Ben and keep an eye on him, pushing back whenever he questions Marcus’ leadership
-Your concern for his whereabouts and then grief over him is the worst thing you could possibly go through and your pain could rival a certain woman from team umbrella
-However you’re the only one he confided in about his intentions to work with the Umbrellas and regardless of whether or not it’s your first choice you’re committed to seeing your brothers vision through
Ben Hargreeves
Tumblr media
-It’s a bit of a chore being close to him honestly, Ben certainly isn’t as cold to you as he is to others but he’s not exactly warm either
-But he does care for you and trusts that you know that without him needing to say as much
-He has zero qualms killing someone if they so much as bruise you for instance
-you’re kind of his ambassador, keeping him in the other siblings favour when he does some bullshit that pisses them off
-He’s very petty whenever you disagree with him, he is especially insistent on you agreeing with him that he made a better leader than Marcus
-You can be a good influence on him if you care to be, you did always get the impression he’d be a better person under different circumstances which you occasionally see in his softer side
Fei Hargreeves
Tumblr media
-As dealing with your family can be something like navigating a minefield Fei really appreciates having someone like you who she can trust and let her guard down around
-She can get quite stubborn once she’s made up her mind on something but if there’s anyone who can influence her to change her stance or follow her heart over her mind it’s you
-However just like your presence can bring out the best in her seeing you get hurt really brings out the worst in her, in a paint the town red kind of way
-You’re frenemies with Ben by association, always there to back Fei up when they feud
-You can guarantee that Fei has your back in kind, she’s loyal and cares deeply about all her family but that’s especially heightened with you, she would kill or die for you
Alphonso and Jayme Hargreeves
Tumblr media
-You’re a part of the worlds snarkiest trio, seriously, even if you’re not a naturally mean or witty person you will have become one by hanging out with them 24/7
-You’re quite used to good-natured taunting, more often from Alphonso though on the rarer occasions Jayme does it it tends to be harsher, but either would apologise if they genuinely hurt your feelings -albeit nonchalantly
-Of course as soon as it’s anyone else giving you attitude they are both in full protective sibling mode, and that’s just if you get sassed, if you get hurt they’re on a whole new level of brutal
-Most your time spent together is filled with humour, snacking and causing a bit of trouble and you can’t imagine living a more joyful life
-While you’re all certainly loyal to the sparrow academy as a whole, the smaller group you’ve created within it is your true priority, maybe still not a family in the truest sense but the closest any of you could ever come to one and it means the world to you all
-So when you lose it the world can be damned if that’s what it takes to get revenge on the umbrella academy
Sloane Hargreeves
Tumblr media
-For both of you it’s wonderful to have at least one empathetic person around to confide your hopes, fears and secrets in
-You always try to be near each other in battle in case one of you needs help and you always cover for each other when you make decisions your other siblings wouldn’t approve of
-She’s spent years dropping hints to you about leaving the academy, believing she’d be able to commit to the idea if you came with her
-You try your hardest to be supportive of her Romeo-Juliet romance, at least partially so she doesn’t quit on the sparrows completely but also because you care very deeply about her
-While you had your reservations about the Umbrellas, being your sisters bridesmaid and finally seeing her as happy as you always wished she could be is the perfect way to spend the end of the world
Christopher Hargreeves
Tumblr media
-While none of your siblings exclude Christopher you’ve always tried hardest to make him feel included
-Which benefits you because he is very good company, he always has your back but also keeps it real with you, not to mention he has a great sense of humour
-You’re mutually defensive of each other, you’re quick to snap at people that treat him like just an object or a spectacle and he won’t let a criminal get within arms length of you before they’re on the ground
-You’re a little concerned about him hanging out with Ben, you’re kind of the angel on his ‘shoulder’ to Ben’s devil honestly, which causes a bit of bickering between you and Chris as he doesn’t want you babying him
-You’re extremely concerned about his role in stopping the kugelblitz and resolve to keep close to him in the aftermath, no matter what

Gimme 10 facts about Corvo for the ask game please!
Thank you so much for asking, Hadley!! I’ll also tag @auxiliarydetective, @oneirataxia-girl, and @starcrossedjedis, the One Piece gang. <3
Corvo cannot stand to hear the word monster, said by anyone or in any context. It reminds them too much of their parents and their upbringing, and saying it around them is likely to get you a weapon forged from your attacker’s own blood pointed at your head or throat.
For a while after they and Shanks get together, Corvo gets uncomfortable at any form of affection aside from kisses; they don’t feel like they deserve any soft affection. Eventually, though, Shanks manages to help them get more used to it, and they turn into a big cuddlebug since they are Big Touch Starved.
Though it’s rare, because they try to be as careful as possible, Corvo can sometimes use too much of their blood in battle and get weak or pass out. Since they started travelling together, Mihawk has perfected the routine of helping them get back to normal health, and he makes sure that Shanks knows too once he and Corvo get together.
One of the rare comforts Corvo ever allowed themself during their assassin days was warm, good homecooked meals - even though they told themself it was purely for the nutrients because monsters didn’t deserve food - and that lead to them both having a strong appreciation for it and being a really good cook (not on par with Sanji, but good). It’s something that helps them connect with Luffy when they first meet him.
In part due to their incredible combat skills, Corvo is actually a really good dancer. Shanks isn’t, so much, but that doesn’t stop him from convincing Corvo to give him “lessons,” which mostly just involve them swaying around holding each other.
Corvo can create almost any weapon you could think of with their blood due to their Devil Fruit power, but their favorite to make is a small mace. It’s compact and can do a lot of damage, plus it tends to elicit the best (read: most terrified) reaction out of their opponents when they create it.
Though Corvo doesn’t have much of an appreciation for music, Shanks trying to sing old pirate tunes when he’s a little tipsy is still one of their favorite sounds.
From the moment they meet the Straw Hats, Corvo becomes intensely protective over Usopp - they see a bit of their own childhood in his backstory of being an outcast in his village and not really having anybody believe in him - and would absolutely be willing to maim and kill someone for him if he needed it. Meanwhile Usopp is very extremely terrified of Corvo and remains completely unaware that they would commit unspeakable crimes for him.
Although they’d never admit it in a million years, Corvo genuinely thinks of Mihawk as the only true family they’ve ever had, at least before they met the Straw Hats and Shanks and his crew. And, though he’d never admit it, Mihawk definitely thinks of them as his sibling as well.
And on that note, in the same way he sees Shanks as his dad in a way, Luffy definitely comes to think of Corvo as his stepparent. After he’s known them for a while, he’s always quick to go them for protection if it’s needed, and he definitely gives them a ton of hugs after Shanks tells him they’re getting better with physical affection.

This is my first In The Flesh meta since like 2015 or whatever but I rewatched series one and and I’ve been having some thoughts. And the first one is about Kieren and Jem and their relationship.
Because that scene where Jem comes into Kieren’s room and demands that he tell her something nobody else knows about her in order to prove it’s really him is so important on so many levels.
At the least important/most vague level it establishes foreshadowing for Bill Macy’s conviction that Rick was an imposter, and establishes the difference between Kieren’s family (Jem believes him when he finishes telling the one story) and Rick’s (Bill makes him jump through all these hoops and still murders him).
But Kieren’s perspective on Jem walking on her toes establishes how much different Jem’s chasm of grief is compared to that of their parents.
It establishes a unique connection between them as siblings, and especially as siblings who are already identified as Other. Jem walked on her toes for nine months and no one knew why except for Kieren, who understood the compulsion entirely and also knew what would fix it. His understanding of Jem when they were young implies just how close they were. And it’s validated at the end of the series when Steve says that Jem knew Kieren might be in the cave and told them about it after a few days, which means at some point they were close enough that Kieren told her about the cave in a way that communicated its emotional significance.
It’s a story that also establishes them both as Other. Kieren’s othering is obvious; the village’s general hostility (or the indifference to the hostility) is blatant. But Kieren says Jem was on her toes because “you thought you were strange for some reason” and wanted to be “quiet as a mouse,” which means whether or not the people around her actually thought she was strange or different, it’s how she thought they saw her.
And it’s immediately followed by Kieren telling Jem he killed himself and left no note because he “just wanted to disappear.” Where there should have been understanding via a connection between Jem walking on her toes and wanting to be quiet so no one noticed her, and Kieren leaving no note because he wanted to disappear, there’s Jem’s chasm of grief and anger.
We can infer from Sue and Steve’s general interaction with/reaction to Kieren’s behaviour that he rarely told them much about his thoughts or feelings. But it’s obvious that Jem understands Kieren far better than their parents and not just because they’re closer in age; he clearly talked to her far more than he ever did Sue and Steve.
So her anger at him and grief for him is different and the fact that it remains even once he’s come back makes so much sense. Because now there’s a communication gap between them, they don’t understand each other anymore. It’s been 5 years, during which Jem has grown up from adolescent to adult. And of course the Rising, which put them literally at opposition with each other when previously it seems they had been more of a team. And Jem has had 5 years to try and grapple with her grief and the trauma of the rising and all that, whereas Kieren has few memories from the past 5 years, so he’s essentially nearly the same as he was when he died, whereas she has changed so drastically.
Steve and Sue are upset and worried and frightened but more than anything they’re relieved to have Kieren back, because while their grief obviously affected them hugely, the rest of their relationship with Kieren before his death and after his return hasn’t changed. It seems like his behaviour is similar to how it was before, and what his parents are worried about more than how he’s acting is where and who he’s with. Kieren not communicating or wandering off or being upset isn’t new to them, but kind of danger he faces as a PDS sufferer is more obvious to them (as it’s an external threat) than the danger he was in before his death (as an uncommunicated internal threat).
But Kieren and Jem now have this gap between them, a space where they used to have a connection and understanding and where they used to tell each other things. And for Jem, the gap is filled up with her anger and grief and the PTSD surrounding Kieren and Lisa and the doctrine of the HVF. They can’t communicate the same way because they don’t have that connection and understanding that they used to. Plus Kieren is now Othered in triplicate (gay, committed suicide, and PDS) whereas Jem has been accepted into a somewhat elite group and has fairly stable social standing in the village.
So Kieren’s anecdote about Jem as a kid shows how similar they were and this connection they had, and that he was able to understand and fix her problem that time. Except now they’ve drifted so far apart and they can’t fix each other because the gap between them is filled up with five years of being on opposing sides of this fight. And if Kieren had more memories of when he was rabid maybe it would be easier for them to figure things out and communicate their respective experiences to get to a middle ground, except that Jem remembers everything and Kieren remembers almost nothing.
The fact that he at least remembers Lisa is, I think, a bridge between them in that he has something concrete to apologize for. In series 2, Simon doesn’t remember killing his mother, so his apology to his father, while sincere, is empty of concrete knowledge of his own actions. But Kieren remembers not only killing Lisa but Jem not killing him, which means they have this connection between them, this memory between them, and he’s able to both apologize to and thank her over this one moment. Which is a way to close that gap, just a little bit.

(Nobody asked me to write this but I wanted to so here you go.)
Only shooting stars. Or Technoblade, Purpled and Quackity (try to) save the world.
They were twenty minutes late to crash a party and stop their former friends from rising a giant murderous egg.
Luckily Purpled was pretty sure Quackity and Technoblade would kill each other before they ever got there. T his was the group that was supposed to save the world from said murderous egg .
The world was doomed.
“I just really think we should talk about you trying to kill me.” The words sat in the silence of the car like storm clouds brewing.
“I mean I’m sure you’re embarrassed about it. Trying to kill someone and failing is very cringe.” Technoblade offered when Quackity didn’t answer eyes pinned on the road.
Purpled was starting to wonder how Quackity had even gotten a license considering he had hit no less then three different poles, two mail boxes and was going ninety when the speed limit was a solid thirty five.
“I don’t think we have anything to talk about.” Quackity snapped. “I tried to kill you. You killed me, I’m over it.”
“You don’t seem very over it.” Purpled noted helpfully.
Quackity switched lanes without looking behind him, ignoring the honks he got. “Fuck off Purpled.”
Purpled leaned in between them,
(Technoblade had called shotgun with the air of a man who had two siblings leading Purpled to get stuck in the back.) “Can I at least turn on music?”
Quackity sighed and Purpled took that as permission. He slipped his favorite CD in with a grin.
Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
Technoblade beamed as he recognized the beat. Quackity just looked annoyed as Purpled started to sing along.
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
Quackity turned around to glare at him. “Can you shut up please? I’m trying to drive safely.”
Without Quackity’s guidance the car spun to the right.
Technoblade yelled and reached over Quackity grabbing the wheel.
“Eyes on the road, eyes on the road!” Quackity flinched away almost falling into Technos lap as he struggled to control the car.
“I have only have one thanks to you asshole!”
“We’re all gonna dieeee.” Purpled screamed just to add to the general drama.
Quackity finally wrestled the wheel away from Techno and straightened the car. Purpled slumped back in his seat “I think the car ran better when you weren’t driving it.”
Technoblade laughed and then “hid” it with a cough.
Quackity glared at him. “Got something to say bitch? Do you think you could drive better then me?”
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Technoblade sighed “I’m just sayn I’ve seen Steve drive a golf cart better.”
Quackity made an angry noise that sounded a lot like a quack. “The polar bear Steve? That Steve?”
Purpled sighed bored with the drama. “Are we there yet?”
Techno’s ears flattened slightly as Quackity visibly got angrier. “Have you considered using I statements? For example I’m feel’n sad because Technoblade pointed out I’m a bad driver.”
Quackity turned the car sharply to the right pulling into a driveway. “Why don’t you shove your I statements up your-“
They slammed into a car.
Purpled swore as he was yanked forwards. At the very least he had a clear of Bad’s house.
They had somehow made it without a crash or Quackity and Technoblade killing each other.
Hey, now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play
Technoblade slowly reached over turned off the music. “Quackity did you just hit a parked car?”
Quackity kicked open the door struggling to get the folds of his red dress out without ripping it.
“Shut up. It’s time to save the world.”

On this fine Wednesday, can I interest anyone in consensual vore with a side of incest?
CW: graphic descriptions of non-lethal cannibalism; the eaten party being awake and aware during said cannibalism; sibling incest where one party doesn't believe they're siblings
“I’m not letting you do that,” Yuuji says, pressing down on Chōsō with all his weight; the state Yuuji’s in, Chōsō could throw him off easy as anything, but he doesn’t, which is exactly what Yuuji’s banking on. “This is bad enough without you…carving yourself up like steak.”
“It’s really not—”
“No.” Yuuji resettles, lifting his body off Chōsō to kneel between his legs, most of his weight still on the hands gripping Chōsō’s shoulders. There’s a lot of this that’s familiarthe position, their half-naked bodies, hooded eyes peering up at Yuuji. That somehow makes what he’s about to do feel worse, more perverse, but it’s still leagues better than letting Chōsō do that to himself for Yuuji’s sake. “I’ll do it. It’s just jaw strength anyway. I’m not that weak.”
“No one would accuse you of weakness, Yuuji,” Chōsō says, a trace of a sigh in his voice; Yuuji ignores Sukuna’s grumbled disagreement. The strange smile flirting with Chōsō’s lips is a more interesting sight. “I have such troublesome brothers.”
“Oh, come on, don’t—” Yuuji cuts himself off. It’s useless, and at this point, indulging Chōsō’s weird brother complex is the least he could do. “Are you ready?”
And Chōsō must know the question is more for Yuuji’s sake than his own, but he hums a reassurance anyway, tilting his head to the side to better bare the meat of his shoulder. Yuuji swallows thickly. He blames Chōsō’s attempt to serve himself up like dinner for his mind trying—and failing epically—to imagine it as a prime cut of steak. On the bright side, if Yuuji had actually felt hungry for even a moment, he’d never have forgiven himself.
“Sorry,” he mutters, the way he once did before killing this man’s actual brother, and dives in.
Flesh parts under his teeth, and Yuuji doesn’t stop until it comes apart in his mouth.
He has the sense not to chew.
The meat slides wetly down his throat, lodging at the base before a desperate, convulsive swallow forces it all the way down.
Cursed energy explodes inside him, a surge of alien power that’s quickly, devastatingly devoured by something Yuuji can’t even pretend is Sukuna. It’s nothing like the power that seeped into him slow and steady and almost sweet when it was just Chōsō’s blood wetting his mouth; if that was a trickle, this is a flood. He shudders through it, slumping against Chōsō until the metallic scent drenching the air makes him notice that Chōsō’s shoulder is still am open wound, the blood flow stemmed but the chunk of flesh still missing.
“Why are you—Chōsō, heal it!”
Chōsō says, “Take…more.”
Yuuji almost argues, but there’s a strain in Chōsō’s voice that wasn’t there any of the times before, and he’s reminded that this is harder for him too, and if this isn’t enough, if Yuuji has to do this again, he’ll be hurting this man again for no good reason.
He screws his eyes shut and bites deep, his teeth meeting each other through the fleeting resistance of flesh.
He swallows.
Another bite, another chunk of meat down his throat, another surge of power.
“Enough,” Yuuji says, mouth close enough to Chōsō’s torn shoulder to feel the steamy heat rising from it. “That’s enough, Chōsō.”
Under him, Chōsō heaves a shuddering sigh.
Yuuji pries his eyes open, forcing himself to look, to see.
He’s made a carnage of Chōsō’s shoulder. Yuuji barely paused to feel his depraved mouthfuls, and he couldn’t tell if the constriction of his throat had been from their size or just pure disgust. Now, looking at what he’s done, it’s clear his teeth weren’t as careful, as clean, as Yuuji had wanted.
Torn skin and exposed muscle. No bone, at least. But the whole shoulder is a mass of meat.
“Chōsō, I’m so—”
A sweaty palm curls around the side of Yuuji’s jaw, thumb slotting over his lips. Yuuji smothers the instinctive urge to pull away—and the even worse impulse to open his mouth and catch that flesh between his teeth for reasons that have nothing to do with consumption. He stays put, watching as Chōsō heals himself. His eyes are closed, and he’s breathing deeply and evenly through his nose. His shoulder is knitting itself back together, slower than all the times he’s healed before, and Yuuji hardly dares to breathe until every stray drop of blood is reabsorbed and every bloody tear fades into unmarred flesh.
Chōsō opens his eyes; they’re all pupil.
His cursed energy is a storm inside Yuuji, and there’s rot in it, a sensation Yuuji is infinitely familiar with, but it’s nothing like the endless festering that’s taken up residence in his soul. This just is.
It almost feels good.
“Thank you,” Yuuji chokes out.
He’s rewarded with a soft, drunken smile. Chōsō’s hand slides down from his jaw, skimming the lines of Yuuji’s neck and shoulder before falling limply to the bed.
“I’m glad it worked.”

Re: Billy, yeeaahh, I think there’s exactly one *potential* way Billy could have been persuaded to leave without a fight and that’s if Chrissy was there at the Byers for some reason and she and Steve tricked Billy into thinking he saw her instead of Max. (1/ hopefully 2)
Why is Chrissy there? I don’t know. Maybe this is a ‘Chrissy and Steve are cousins’ au and he called her over in the hopes that her presence would stop the Party from sneaking out to commit arson to save Will’s life. Maybe she actually got caught up in everything last year bc she tagged along with Steve when he went to apologize (probably another cousins au scenario). Maybe she saw Max skateboarding, thought it was cool, and started a conversation. (Part 3 incoming)
(3/3) Cheerleading is pretty hard, so if Max was either already aware of that or found out while talking/hanging out with Chrissy, I think it’s reasonable that Max might admire Chrissy, which could potentially result in Chrissy being asked to the junkyard (especially if Max didn’t buy Lucas’s story, which I don’t think she did).
oooh fascinated by Steve and Chrissy being sporty cousins who are basically siblings tho. Steve who calls Chrissy his "sister but actually my cousin but basically my sister" in his brain because she's maybe 7/8 months younger than him so was in the grade below but they grew up together and almost all the baby pictures have them together in matching outfits :') they saved worms together from the pavement after it rained. Chrissy put them in Steve's hair and he cried. (she did this many times) They sit beside each other at family gatherings and just much sly and cutting mean girl comments about their relatives to make the other laugh. Or make distressed faces at each other from across the table when grandpa Otis is getting drunk and ready to rant.
Chrissy who Steve called during his sad boy clean up his own mess hours and she was like "okay I'll drive you to the byers house? You got knocked around I'll drive please don't get in a wreck auntie Diane would kill me." and she waits in the car for him but then Shit Goes Down and there's lights flashing and Steve runs out, but he stops, and looks back. and then locks eyes with Chrissy, and runs back in. So she follows. And finds out monsters are real right beside her brother-cousin.
yeah okay I'm digging Chrissy and Steve cousins au but it HAS to be coupled with Chrissy lives au I can't do that to them. I can't make Steve try to clear Eddie's name while mourning the only family he's known loved him. (but GOD a Jason/steve confrontation in that au? where jason is like she was your family! and steve is like I know!! That's why you need to believe me that Eddie didn't do this! I want revenge just as much as you! oh god this is so sad no no Chrissy lives in harrington cousin au.)
Anyway but Yeah. I think, like. Billy just wanted to punch someone. I guess because Chrissy is a pretty and popular girl, he would at least hesitate in his itch for a fight. Billy doesn't respect women but he's savvy enough to get in with Tommy, Steve's former bestie, so he knows enough that Chrissy isn't someone he wants to be on the bad side of. So perhaps it would...slow down? the events? idk. I really do think once Billy saw Steve or Lucas he wasn't leaving without punching someone. She could try to convince him it was her in the window, if Steve had gone out first, and that might give the kids time to hide better, but Steve isn't leaving s2 without getting punched by Billy in place of Lucas. It's one of those "locked in the timeline" things for me. Sorry Steve :( at least sometimes you aren't knocked out completely.
this answer is all over the place haha but post s3 pre s4 chrissy seeing Max skateboarding and thinking it's pretty cool and striking up a little mentor-friendship with her is so cute. Two lonely girls</3 Maybe Max teaches her to kickflip and Chrissy Teaches her to cartwheel... holds her ankles up to get the feel for it...and for a little while they don't feel so alone... aww... I love giving Max role models and older girls to look up to. She's got Steve but she deserves some girls looking out for her.

Playtime With Percy hcs. Getting the Pal and Tamaterror ones out of the way first
The reason why Pal doesn’t attack until the 3rd charge is because it took him a while to use to having limbs. The guy wouldn’t stop falling if he tried before getting used to them.
Bruti is very antisocial and the only way to get him to interact with anyone is to put a wall to run through.
If left alone/without Pal, Opti will immediately take charge of the Tamaterrors because he’s the most qualified.
Bruti is the dumbest of the group but he’s trying his best. Lanki and Roachi typically protect him from Opti’e bullying. If Pal’s available, he gets very aggressive as he is constantly trying to get them all to get along.
(Also, as I’m watching Dawko play the night)
Pal: YOU STOLE MY KILL!!
Lanki: Sounds like a skill issue
Pal: YOU-!
Lanki likes stealing Pal’s kills for fun. This also got him banned from the internet unlike his brothers who promised not to use such language to Pal’s face.
Pal doesn’t know what to refer to the tamas as and only for jokes or getting his point across does he ever call them sons.
Bruti likes to help Pal get around…which typically means throwing him from room to room. Bruti is unaware that this damages Pal.
Roachi is a pest and usually steals food during hours. Percy has allowed Pal to use his body when shooing away Roachi and it’s siblings (the other roachis).
Pal has also agreed to keep the tamas hidden during hours but he’s definitely not happy about it as that means he can’t explore.
Mother Moose is typically on top of Pal trying to sneak in and play with the kids. If detected, Pal is, naturally, stuffed back into the storage room.
Out of all the animatronics, Rowan is the only one who really talks and has befriended Pal. Understandably, everyone else is very hard on Pal and his terrors. Especially Percy.
Pal has yet to try and correct his mistakes as he thinks he’s at least SLIGHTLY justified.
Every once in a while, Nick will come by to make sure the animatronics are all good which usually means dealing with the Pups stealing important parts. In fact, the only folk they don’t steal from is Pal…for obvious reasons.
The Poodle Pals are heavily territorial and often scrap with The Poodle Pups.
Yes, Nick has to repair Pal, the Tamas and Pals too. It’s always extremely awkward between Pal and Nick. They don’t usually talk and whenever Pal tries to start up and conversation, Nick presses his face into the stand, lying that he’s struggling and needs to keep him still.
Despite being territorial, the Pals are very sweet with Nick and adore their checkups. The Tamas are in the same boat, excitedly bouncing around and beeping in their own language to tell Nick their stories.
Farmer Felix is very much exes with Rowan and Rowan doesn’t like him much. He tolerates Felix though.
Charles usually tries to cheer up Rowan whenever he’s down about Felix.
Charles also likes to tell really bad puns.
While they don’t interact a lot, each of Pal’s allies get along with Percy and his gang.
Rowan and Pal
The Pals and Percy
Charles and Lanki
Bruti and Felix
Opti and Mother
Roachis and the Pups
The custom night characters are also around but everyone chalks them down to hallucinations and every time someone claims they saw them, poof. Gone again.
Viola usually only comes out when there’s violin music.
Whenever Viola and Opti meet, Opti has this moment and pure confusion and mild existential crisis as the tamaterror in her face looks near identical to him/it.
Helios is very, extremely hyper. It’s a wonder he can stay hidden at all. Bruti likes Helios’ stealth and always tries to learn from him.
Sunny and Lanki hate each other for no known reasons
Lanki also dislikes Helios
Lanki: HE’S TOO TALL AND LONG! I’M THE TALL AND LONG ONE!!
Helios: I- That’s what you hate me…?
Lanki: YOU TOOK MY SPOT AS THE LONG ONE!
Helios: I…you- huh..?
Sunny: Oh look, Lankibox is here
Lanki: SHUT UP! I am not like them!!
Sunny: You’re quite loud like them
Lanki: I yell SOMETIMES!
Sunny: You’re also very annoying…
Lanki: GAAAH! Disappear already, you pretentious vision sheep!
Sunny: I’m not a hallucination. You’re just bad at Searching. Pathetic considering you’re really good at Hiding.
Lanki: HISSSSS!!
I’ll add tags later-

I am asking about the aitsf au 👀
And I am answering! I’m gonna go down a bullet list of things I don’t think I’ve mentioned about our AU! Specifically about the siblings because my inbox is mostly about Ryuki + Saito lol so this will be a long one! Thank you for letting me go on and on about this AU seriously I enjoy it very much.
AITSF / AINI SPOILERS.
Warnings for violence, child abuse, and some seriously bad family dysfunction.
Saito has a scar around his neck, which he covers with a black choker (this is me trying to justify why he appears to be wearing two turtlenecks) (I know it’s because his model is weird but who cares). He got this from a childhood accident where Uru got angry and pushed him as they were swinging with ropes and he nearly got strangled to death. The scar is from the rope burns as he struggled. Uru wasn’t actually ever afraid of him until that day because Saito beat him up so badly for it that they had to get separated by the guards. This was also before Iris.
Following that, there is an ending where Uru finally gets to kill him (of course, it’s strangulation. Finish what you started, Uru.) but it’s also a bad one. Pretty much any ending where Saito gets killed is a bad one. But also you can imagine how insane A-Set stan Twitter is going to look following the news release that Iris’ brother killed her other brother (who killed her mother).
There was a period of 6 months where Uru and Saito just did not see each other, following Manaka’s murder. While So tried to figure out what to do about Saito, he just locked him in his room (though obviously he was let out for like, assessments and basic care) and had guards make sure no one went near (but mostly to make sure Saito didn’t get out). Uru did not know about this at all and was told he was sent away for health reasons.
Between the untreated physiological brain disorder making him upset and the distress of being stuck in The Room for so long, he developed a fear of being trapped / unable to escape. Once he was let out he moved rooms entirely and avoids The Room, which is left intact with proof of his tantrums / meltdowns (broken CRT tv, messed up walls and floors, etc).
Iris and Uru have no idea why he’s antsy about it and it bothers him immensely that they don’t have the same fear of being trapped as he does, even when he used to lock them in closets whenever he got angry with them.
This is also why he chooses to put So’s body in something as small and morbid as The Vase (it’s the vengeance babey). I have this headcanon outside of the AU but it fit really well into here, so this is the room where Hitomi shoots and kills Saito in her final girl bad ending. We love karmic retribution.
If the siblings just unionized against So, they could easily kick his ass and live like normal people. But they aren’t ever going to do that because Saito is so poisoned by the belief that he’s better than the others because he’s the true born son and they’re all inferior to him (which is undermined by the fact that So is more restrictive of him than the others + Saito himself knows he’s on thin ice constantly and is insecure about it).
So doesn’t really like any of his kids because he’s the root of all evil but if he had to pick a favorite it is actually Iris. Because Saito has a body count and Uru is deeply insecure to the point of being pathetic but at least Iris is a nice young woman who is doing literally everything she can to stay out of it. Tbh she’s slightly spared from the mind games by the sheer age gap between her and her brothers.
Despite literally all of this dysfunction, for the most part they all get along tentatively. Saito’s made himself the top of the pecking order, Uru follows Saito’s lead (but is extremely unhappy about it which is why he ends up violently repressed, susceptible to cult indoctrination, and trigger happy), and Iris respects them both from a sad distance.
The problem is that they occasionally have pretty good moments together so no matter how bad it gets, those few moments make them forget about it. Saito in particular occasionally does stand up for them against So. He was the one who convinced So to let Iris be an idol, for which she’s grateful. But he stands up to So on their behalf as a sort of power move, because neither of them have ever really stood up to their father the way Saito is able to (further establishing to them that he’s the favorite of them all).
On a lighter note, Uru in this AU is actually naturally a brunet and bleaches his hair blond. On a darker note, the combination of coloring his hair like Saito and the fact that he dresses like him (turtleneck + blazer) surely doesn’t mean anything about his self image relating to his older brother now does it.
That was 11 bullet points which I think is enough from me. Thank you!
