Hesitantly Shoto approached her, still uncertain of his gift. Uraraka's birthday felt like an important celebration, the boy cherishing deeply their blooming relationship. Wholeheartedly she had offered her friendship, when he felt as if he hadn't done enough to earn it, and since then, he enjoyed the warmth her company offered. For this special day, he wished to give her a present she'd truly like, but considering the minimalist she was, he felt as if he hadn't many choices to choose from. Taking a deep breath, for his underlying anxiety to relent, he gently tapped on her shoulder from behind to have her attention.

“ Happy Birthday, ” he softly said, holding out a grey bag with a pink bow for her to take. Inside was a small bouquet of pink daisies, and a hoodie, with the design of a starry night.

today had been a whirlwind. so many of her friends had taken time out of their day to make hers a little more special. it touched her in ways she couldn't explain.

all her life, it's been her mission to make sure that everyone around and important to her was smiling, happy, and loved. a day for her? in some ways, it was beyond her comprehension. what made her so special? she was nothing compared to everyone else she was rivaled against.

she was.. weird. ochako sees the world through a different lens than most, and while she wants everyone to smile, sometimes, she finds it's hard to do that herself.

she's horrible at receiving gifts on a normal day, but on her birthday, she's even more at loss of how to react. so when she feels the tap on her shoulder and turns around, to see shoto, her heart feels as though it's going to beat out of her chest. " mmm? !!!! "

first, hazel eyes slide towards the grey bag adorned with a cute pink bow, but then they move upwards to catch the rare smile on shoto's lips-- it's more perfect than the entire gift itself. pink cheeks darkening, she takes the gift from him with a bright smile. " shoto.. you really didn't have to get me anything! " she protests, still, she knows he won't take no for an answer.

seeing the pink daises first, ochako's insides to do that warm wiggle thing again. then spotting the hoodie, her hazel eyes begin to shine! " awe! i love the flowers and the hoodie! wow!! thank you so much!! " setting the gifts down beside her, she makes a mental note to ask momo to make her a vase so she can place the flowers in water and steps forwards to wrap her arms around shoto's middle, " though the only thing i wanted? " she pauses to look up at him with a warm smile. " is right here. " / @lightbaund

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER(S)? gosh. there are so many muses on here!! uhhh. i guess i can just list the more active muses that i have? however, in doing so, that doesn't mean i am not ever down to try new ones or even rare ships! rare ships are some of my favs, tbh!!

ochako: kacchako, izuocha, kirichako, shinchako, todochako, monochako, iidachako. joke: eraserjoke, micjoke, mightjoke. lucy: graylu, lolu, gajlu, nalu, laxlu, stinglu, freelu. erza: jerza, grayza, mirza. emma: drakemma. takemichi: akkutake, maitake, fuyutake, mistutake. ( i am honestly still developing him / reading the manga more so that's all i've got right now!! ) lumine: chilumi, xiaolumi - just two faves but she obvs works with so many hahah

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? for a lot of the b.nha student muses that i have and even tr characters, i mean.. a couple years? like one to two years apart, max? i mean they are younger characters and in some cases teens, there's no way i am comfy having them date someone way older. as for the more adult muses: fairy tail, etc. --- i mean, not too much older also? the same concept applies. the most i'd say is about a 5 year difference but no more than 7ish or so.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW? when you know, you know. it's pretty obvious. a lot of the characters i write tend to be younger and for that i mean, nsfw is pretty non existent. but in the rare chance that it is written here it's with a mun i trust and am comfortable with wholeheartedly. the same can be said for the muses: the ship would have to be pretty well developed: chemistry, built on trust, etc.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? yes and no? i mean, if you'd like to ship our muses and our interested in doing so, please let me know! however, i also have to keep the muse in mind / and categorize things in my brain to not make things complicated. i tend to work off a mains system so as to not have 10 ships with the same character. so, as an example: ochako has a very established ship with @ofdetonation's bakugou, so i'd be very selective in shipping her with another. i hope that makes sense? but in all honestly, i am very open to lots of things!

Decided to add some headcannons which were requested by some people! It’s rather long and messy so bear with me lol. Do these even make sense? <3 also no ship hate or any of that, leave if you want to be a problematic person.

• Consider Ochako giving Shoto hand-to-hand combat lessons after he requested her when he saw her beat the shit out of some students; he’s nothing to scoff at but god, Ochako can tell he definitely needs some more practice.

• And Shoto is panicking because wow she’s so adorable and pretty even when she’s about to throw him off his feet like wow, and he’s not good at hiding a dreamy smile which is honestly making Ochako flustered—

• Them sparring in the night after classes because Shoto is not a morning person but eventually Ochako says that early morning is far better since they would also have time to study.

• She is used to dragging him out of bed to eat something or simply hang out and socialize, of course if only he’s comfortable (and he says yes because he likes hanging out with her) but then whole class is there and he wants to cry now.

• Lo and behold, they go to the gym and meet our gremlin, Katsuki who grins and proceeds to ‘join’ in the lesson too, it’s basically just him trying to kick Shoto’s ass without actually explaining anything, it’s paying off but nonetheless Ochako is both paranoid and impressed—

• Que Katsuki cackling and taunting Shoto; Ochako is scolding him and cheering for Shoto- the commotion can definitely be heard outside and sounds of insults, blasts and attacks can be heard, it’s thrilling and entertaining, not to mention Shoto is actually getting better. And he’s a piece of shit towards Katsuki too.

• Que Momo entering the gym because she wanted to ask for some tips from Bakugo and next thing y’know she’s getting hyped tf up and ofc she feels as if she’s intruding but none of them are about to let her leave, in the end all of them are are exhausted and burned out. Ochako smiles apologetically because she practically slammed Momo but hey she’s learning and gets a smile in return.

• Ochako taking care of Momo and Shoto- who’s not used to being taken care of after training but it’s nice, Katsuki yelling at their mistakes and indirectly inviting them the next morning too, pointedly telling Momo that she better stop hesitating because he will be the one next time sparing with her and he will be damned if she gives him half of her effort.

• Y’all just know that Shoto and Katsuki would be the one sharing a brain cell, they are both stubborn and rather argumentative- just in a different sense, and ofc Ochako is not gonna miss up a chance to annoy the shit out of him and Momo would be commenting too but in a more mature manner— it’s amusing to watch the three argue ngl.

• Ochako dragging all of them for breakfast- especially Shoto who’s somehow still sleepy and was about to get his ass on bed but no he’s eating whether he likes it or not, and in Katsuki’s words miss ponytail gotta recharge her quirk so ‘sit yo ass down’.

• Him making them all a nutritional and a delicious meal, complaining about their unhealthy lifestyle like we all are growing heroes— your supposed to recharge and get some more meat— pretty much he’s referring to Momo who’s undoubtedly insecure about her body sometimes and Shoto skips breakfast to get his sleep. until Ochako drags him out.

• Ochako helping Katsuki to make food and Momo makes some of her tea to relax their nerves and Shoto pisses his ‘bestie’ off by reviewing everything he’s doing, he mostly cleans any mess and helps with the dishes- none of them like any mess and it irritates them, except Ochako and definitely the human Pomeranian is not going to cook for a useless bastard who can’t even clean to help.

• It mostly ends up with Katsuki listening to the other three talk— sometimes to Momo talking about her goals she wants to reach this year, Ochako talking about almost everything and Shoto giving short responses. until he points out something to Katsuki, irking him and then it’s all chaos when the others come down.

• It’s a strange scene; Shoto giving a teasing smirk while almost getting blown off, Ochako is laughing her ass off and Momo is trying to calm all of them down, she does not want to use her quirk to make dishes and no Shoto do not use your ice to make some— that’s not how it works, and it’s also completely impractical. Ochako might use her quirk to make them both float and cause less damage, or she just wants to mess with them tbh, she’s no less than them.

• They head to class together, Katsuki a bit further because he’s not friends with them dammit, although he does give his opinions to Momo’s rants about the lessons, and Ochako is a ball of sunshine who is the only thing helping a sleepy Shoto, he probably talks with her about what else he would like to learn from her.

• They are loud and that’s a fact, Ochako takes any chance she can get to get under Katsuki’s skin because it’s fun and Shoto does the same. When Mina and Kirishima join them, it’s all downhill from there. Mina, Shoto and Ochako tease the fuck out of Katsuki— who’s about to explode anytime soon. Momo is the quite one of the group as long as Katsuki doesn’t try to rile her up that is. Kirishima is the peacemaker, but man it’s fun.

• study sessions, let’s just say it helps Ochako a lot with her problems, since the other three are the smartest students in the class and all of them exchange their thoughts, mostly Momo and Katsuki in his own way. Shoto prefers studying alone but relents at the last moment, again it can turn into an informative extensive debate but they all came here for a reason and Momo won’t have any of it atm.

• It ends with Momo and Bakugo discussing about some strategies, Shoto is almost nodding off if not for the tea which Momo made for them and Ochako is doing and comparing her homework with the others— she’s panicking about the exams and Shoto is the one calming her down about it, he’s used to being anxious over such stuff before so he knows how she feels about it.

• Katsuki dragging Momo away from learning more- like get some sleep and stop overwhelming yourself, we have training to do tomorrow. Shoto does the same with Ochako, picking up her stuff and even opting to explain her some stuff again if that would help her.

• And yes he falls asleep on her shoulder; he’s not used to their new schedule so it’s understandable that he would feel sleepy and tired, in the end he goes to his dorm with an encouraging smile towards her and our homegirl is blushing hard af. She looks over his neat notes and the other’s too, feeling better about herself.

• They are all intelligent and determinative to do their best, attentive and caring about each other. And it shows that they are developing and growing more confident.

• Ochako brings them snacks when she can, telling them that it’s okay and the others take it because they don’t want her to feel bad, and ofc Momo takes them to expensive restaurants to show her gratitude towards their friends, Katsuki helping them with getting a good fashion sense and nutrition, which Shoto ends up paying for btw because fuck him that’s why.

• Their favorite is simply hanging around the campus or the city; whether it’s to a cafe or a mall, it’s just them enjoying themselves. Shoto slyly buys stuff for Ochako because she deserves the best and Katsuki might spoil Momo with his fashion sense as mentioned before, they end up going to an arcade and then heading back to the dorms. Sure the others might join too but they just hang out without actually informing anyone if it’s not needed.

• They know each other is going through some issues and since they all are brutally honest at times, they can have conversations about anything although ofc it takes a bit time to open up, which is okay, they can still hang out and just be there for each other.

• Also combining their quirks, they have great ideas what to do with them, sometimes though it will definitely get them in trouble but as I said three of them actually share a single brain cell, sometimes Momo might join in too— so it’s upto Aizawa to be aware of their bullshit before they blow the place up.

• Momo and Shoto looking upto Ochako and her great fighting skills, Katsuki making sure they are doing their best and not wasting his time. Momo giving straight opinions about their actions and abilities, she’s great at observing someone’s errors which is helpful at the end.

• Honestly to others, they are a mystery since none of them say much about just how any of them got together so close in the first place, and not to mention amusing to watch. It’s either them watching Momo chastising the fuck out of Katsuki or Ochako arguing with him or Shoto once again about to get blown off. It’s unpredictable and hilarious.

• Momo getting insecure about herself so Ochako, helps her with it. She has had such insecurities too, about chubbiness and other’s opinions so they both have some girl time and talk to each other about it, it’s not fun only being seen as a sexualized person or a chubby soft girl and always getting put down.

• God forbid if Katsuki catches wind of it— he’s going straight to her room and complimenting her in his own way, he’s bringing some food and she better eat it because she deserves it for always working so hard, she’s smarter than him and how he always looks forward for her opinions and rantings, basically he’s gonna beat the shit out of anyone who wants beef with her. And the same goes with Ochako, she’s a smart girl and she better understand that. he tries not to get emotional and leaves shortly after but would think about it the whole night.

• Shoto might help in his own ways, albeit he’s a bit awkward, he compliments her intelligent speculations and almost confesses her feelings to Ochako lmao. but he tries his best to help them with their insecurities, opting to sparing with Momo with his quirk and buying her and Ochako some snacks because they are beautiful just the way they are and can get whatever they want to without judgment. he’s a gentleman and leaves to give them both space if he’s sure they want some.

• Same goes with the boys; it’s a bit harder with them but eventually they have some talks about mostly in private and not to all of them at once, Katsuki will probably talk with Ochako if she ever asks him about Izuku or if Shoto does, mostly with Momo tho, because she isn’t that close with Izuku so it’s less awkward. yet tense as she tells him to sort things out immediately. it’s needed to be heard tbh and he knows. He doesn’t open about his insecurities openly but all of them know it’s being hinted at.

• Oof Shoto has already unpacked a lot of things to Ochako. he feels guilty af although he knows she’s glad to hear whatever is going on with him, Katsuki bluntly gives his thoughts which he appreciates, he isn’t Ochako to carefully and softly mention the subject but both of them give their true opinions. Momo might relate with the pressure part, her parents are sweetheart and she loves them dearly but they can be rather strict. he’s not insecure about himself but he’s gotta practice with his fire more whether he likes it or not. — Katsuki is definitely gonna push him harder with that.

• You will find them doing some dumb shit or getting dragged to do one thing or another, nonetheless they are there for each other when it’s needed and have the potential to make a great team (they are tbh) they might have some disagreements but the other help solve it out. None of them hide their feelings or take any shit from the other after a while. They would probably keep doing this after graduation fr.

I've got like, a list of faves and it's REALLY hard to settle on one-

Cousin trio of Saiya (dabihaul), Hiroko (todochako), and Toushira (fuyumirko) are high up there. I've drawn those three more than any of them.

Saiya has fun angst and background to explore upon to make her existence feasible. She's also the only fan kid that I've written into multiple AUs.

Hiroko is the first fan kid I ever made, the one I randomly doodle on scrap pieces of paper, so she owns my heart.

Toushira is very fun to draw! Also one of my earliest designs. Unlike the other two, she's also just a fun character in general personality wise, lot more light hearted and cheery.

Tho I've got like... a long ass list of all my faves and why I enjoy them sm. These three are just Up There 💕

15. A comet. Their first date is watching one on a hill near UA and it is so cold and distant yet so filled with wonder, inspiring awe as it streaks through the sky.

I’m glad you feel that way! I was in your situation about two years ago and it was NOTHING of these two lol. After I noticed that, I started to post about them and made a couple of ship names like “Shouchako.” It makes me happy that new shippers like you now have Todochako/Shouchako fanart, fanfics, etc just like every other ship! I don't actually have an Ochako ships so I wanted to rarepair it up :) plus they look cute together. Mod Todoroki and I discussed how their relationship dynamics operate since they come from polar opposite backgrounds and their understanding of what it means to be in a committed relationship.

That isn’t to say they’re not loyal or in-love with each other, contrary to the case, but it certainly affects how they solve the issues in their relationship as it comes up. So, without further ado; some headcanons.

The two seldom ever argue -- they never let anything become swept under the rug and communication is a huge factor in their relationship since Shoto tends to internalize his emotions, and unfortunately on occasions lash out. Ochaco is also perceptive and empathetic, so she tries to help encourage him to express himself more. Though at times he can go a bit far and hurt her feelings unintentionally, especially regarding how she carries herself as a Pro-Hero. He gets worried about her.

As far as having children goes, they most likely waited until their careers were strongly established (about 30) before settling down. Ochaco was very stubborn about taking maternity leave, but eventually relented to it. The two work, so they take turns taking care of the baby or ask Fuyumi to help with babysitting.

Their wedding was generally very traditional for a Japanese wedding; Ochaco really had no demands aside from wanting a Western Wedding dress, having her family visit for it, and of course, good food. Most of it was catered towards Shoto’s feelings, and when neither of them knew what they wanted, they consulted Fuyumi as a third opinion. They have a large album of their wedding, including a shot-by-shot take of Shoto when he first lays eyes on Ochaco in her wedding dress. He had a genuinely happy smile for the entirety of that night -- a smile that screamed “I am insanely in love with this woman and I’m the luckiest man on this planet.”

As I’ve most likely implied, the couple is very close with Shoto’s family (aside from Endeavor)! Natsuo, Fuyumi and even Rei (Shoto’s Mother) get a kick out of teasing them because of how well their relationship operates, and how Ochaco is an ideal wife. Rei adores Ochaco and immediately welcomed her.

One of Shoto’s fears revolves around becoming a second Endeavor, and he often tries to counteract that with being a strict, loving parent. Ochaco is more prone to be the overtly affectionate one as well as the homemaker. Shoto does take on some household responsibilities as to not swamp her with chores.

Speaking of Endeavor, the couple’s relationship is incredibly rocky, due to Ochaco’s knowledge of how he treated Shoto and the rest of his family and the protectiveness the two have over their child. They actually considered not letting Enji see his grandchild at all, but have relented to supervised interactions with either parent present or even Fuyumi.
