PAX turned and began to lead the other towards the woods behind the town. “But you want to go towards the forest? Not the village? They could help you find your way, I think.”

What a... kind, innocent soul. Brine gave a nod, resisting the urge to take the lead toward the forest.

"Solomon. It's nice to meet you, PAX. You see, I live in the forest. Got a little cottage I built myself. If you're not too busy, I could make you some candied spider eyes, or maybe a coffee if you don't prefer sweets--as thanks, for guiding me."

Some context as there was some off-screen RP going on after he got hurt!

Having extracted the location of Chi (@chimerical-waters) in the last seconds before getting shot, Riki teleported into that general area and was saved right before perma death.

Alive, but in a very rough shape, he made it home, though, he has some more very pressing repairs that he needs to do.

How did Megatron get his name? Did he get it from the Prime?

Yes! He was just known as D-16 until he met Orion Pax. As Orion got to know him more and more, he decided to ask him if he'd like an actual name of his own.

It took a while for them to come up with a name, using books (data pads) in the Iacon hall of records to look for names of different characters, as well as walking around Iacon for any inspiration.

After a while, they stumbled across a book about Primes which caught D-16's attention, and Orion pointed out how D-16 was familiar to the Prime Megatronus (Which in my au was the kindest of the 13 primes, but someday was never heard from again).

They shortened down the name to Megatron and that's how he got his name ;)

You've given me to write this little drabble:

Your situation had become somewhat peculiar. Your ship crashes and you have nowhere to go back to... so you have a big robot who has decided to keep you without knowing his intentions and so on.

The bad thing is that you couldn't explain anything to him just because he didn't understand you. You looked like a kitten trying to get attention. Partly you were embarrassed to do so since you were only getting pats on the head, much to your dismay.

You had stopped trying so hard a few days ago. It wasn't worth it, you sighed as you looked out the window. You admired the cybernetic atmosphere of the buildings. You started to think about your own home, if you would be missed. You were doing all this for survival... You had tried several times to sneak away.

You just wanted to go back... It was the only thing you wanted and that someone at least understood what you were saying.

You sighed to hear some footsteps you knew it was him but you were not in the mood to show a fake smile. You didn't feel like pretending... There he was with his smile and you didn't even flinch to see that his expression had changed to what appeared to be concerned.

You were so deep in thought that you felt his servos pick you up and leave you. Again, that butterfly sensation that you tried to ignore but couldn't. You were surprised that this time it was the same.

You were surprised that this time he left you on his shoulder... You took a comfortable position... It was pleasant, you felt some warmth while you felt a caress on your head.

It gave you nostalgia... and memories of how you were taken care of before.

For a long time you started to feel like at home...

((Just a little RP to scrub the rust off my gears.))

It had been a while since Hieronymous Brine left solitude in search of souls. He didn't need them, and, for a while, he didn't even want them. But when noises of civilization encroached on his hiding place, he decided to investigate.

It sounded like many people; not an entire town, but a decent sized group. It'd be easy to pick off one person out of many if any of their souls looked enticing enough. As Brine neared the source of the sound, he ducked behind a tree to watch. People were digging and moving the land en masse: terraforming. Even better; an overworked mortal would be all the easier to whisk away.

But wait. Brine squinted at one of the people hauling dirt and enjoying themselves in the process.

What was curious was not the fact that this was a half-enderman he was looking at, but the fact that it had not one, not two, but seven souls in it. That couldn't be right. But then again, if it was right... that'd make for a great and easy haul.

Brine considered his next course of action. While he remained unnoticed now, how would he gain their attention without causing a scene? Hm...

The half-enderman was the closest person to him, so perhaps a simple noise might garner their attention. Brine grabbed a loose branch from the tree he hid behind and snapped it a bit loudly in his hands. He quickly dropped the stick afterward, so as to pretend he had merely stepped on it, and ducked back behind the tree, mostly. 'Accidentally' drawing attention was far less suspicious.

Majority of Transformers fans when something new such as Transformers One trailer is released:

Yes, the trailer came out today for those who are still out of the loop.

And I have some thoughts.

You can tell that there was a lot of love put into the animation. It's smooth. It's clean and vibrant. There are Cybertronian animals and landscape. Because a lot of the Transformers stories take place on Earth because the planet is already destroyed from war. Even when we do see the planet in the animated series in the past, it mainly focuses on the cities and urban places. I think Cyberverse was the first one I've seen really branch out into other locations on Cybertron and have settings and stories take place there, but I could be wrong in terms of animated series. I'm certain they expand on other locations on Cybertron in the comics. I just don't have access to them.

The actually designs feel like a mix of G1 and IDW. However the faces are still something that I have to get used to.

It looks like their taking a page out of the Aligned Continuity where the Quintessions invade before the war begins.

The cast also not having the ability to transform and not knowing how to is so jarring. Like that's so freaking weird. IDK why.

Keegan Michael Key is no doubt doing his regular stand up shtick and what not. He's not really doing anything to change his voice or make it stand out. When I hear Key play Bumblebee, I just hear Key. But the jokes for Bumblebee have been really solid, and I find it funny that Bumblebee is killing people on purpose and accident.

I don't have too much to say about Johansson's voice acting for Elita 1 because we only get a few lines from her, but the animation for her is smooth.

Again, so weird hearing Megatron sound so young and full of life. Like hearing Brian Tyree Henry speak as Megatron genuinely threw me off. Like what the hell. I'm so used to hearing Megatron sound so tired, angry, or ragged, not annoyed and cautious!

But I have to say, Chris Hemsworth was great as Orion Pax. An unexpected stand out. I was so worried about Chris being Orion Pax because he's never done voice acting before aside from voicing Thor, and he didn't seem to have too much knowledge of Transformers, calling Transformers One the first animated feature length film for the franchise, clearly forgetting about G1. Say what you will about Keegan, Scarlett, and Brian, they have voice acting experience in different animated shows and films. Hemsworth had practically none. But I heard that he personally spoke with Peter Cullen and asked him for advice. And it does show. Like it's not like a Chris Pratt performance where he's just doing whatever. At some moments, you can still tell that it is Hemsworth, but at other moments it does feel like this is Orion. He's genuinely putting in a lot of effort and I have to say props to him.

Also, I'm glad Orion is shown to be feral, putting a goddamn jetpack on Megatron. That's great.

I am still cautiously optimistic about the movie. But we will see what happens.
