Symbiote Ellie Phantom AU
After she was saved from Destabilization, Ellie gained a nifty new power. She can Melt on command and move around freely, which is just a really fun power, even if she is a bit weaker when she uses it .
But one day, she gets really badly hurt. Like, Really Hurt. Let's say the GIW got a lucky shot and managed to capture her, and experimented on her for a week before she managed to escape.
She can't keep her Human Form stable anymore, but her Goop Form is good enough for now. All she needs to do is find an Ectoplasm Rich Environment and try to heal up the best she can. Hopefully Danny will find her after she misses her monthly Visit.
She ends up in Gotham while searching for a place to heal, but the GIW is hot on her tail.
She needs a place to hide, and the only way she can think of is to overshadow somebody and pretend to be them while the GIW passes her by.
So she jumps into the nearest person she can find, a girl close to her age jumping across Rooftops.
But since she was in her weaker Goop Form, she can't enter a person without their permission. So she slides up to the person in Goop Form, jumps on her Back, and telepathically asks her for help, begging for permission to hide in her for a bit.
The girl she tried to overshadow was Cassandra Cain.
After some begging, Cass agrees and Ellie sinks into her. Again, she can't fully Overshadow her, so she's basically a passenger until Cass decides to give her some control.
The GIW passes by them, and Ellie tries to leave Cass only to realize that she can't. Since Cass was exposed to the Lazarus Pits, she is has a weird Biology, and since Ellie already had a Wierd Biology being a Halfa Clone as a Pile of Goop, they somehow can't leave eachother.
Cass gets a new Roommate, but instead of sharing an apartment, its her body. It's honestly not that bad, Ellie can give her some of her old powers and she can still communicate by making a Goop Head come out of Cass's shoulder.
They get along really well too, Ellie can ways be there for Cass whenever she needs somebody to talk to, and Cass is the Supportive Older Sister who helps Ellie talk about her feelings.
The Bat Fam also doesn't know. They figure that this will probably be fixed soon enough, so there's no real reason to tell her Family. They do find out after a few weeks however.
Cass accidently uses Ellie's powers in front of one of her brothers, which causes them to tell Bat's which means the entire family knows by the end of the day.
Cass has to explain the situation and introduces her new little sister. "This is Ellie. She's a Meta who escapes a secret Government Organization and asked for my help to hide from them by hiding in my Body. Unfortunately, we can't split up because her powers reacted strangely to the Lazarus in my blood. She is now my sister. You are not going to make her leave, I will not let you."
It takes a while, but the Bat Fam ends up accepting her. They do end up looking into that "Secret Government Organization" though, and find that they have been experiencing Raids by an army of Ghosts for the last few weeks.
"Oh right, I missed my monthly visit to my brother." Says Ellie from Cass's shoulder. "He must be looking for me, no biggie."
It's definitely a Biggie.

Can I just say this really quick? I read the Percy Jackson series as a 12 year old blonde girl.
(A 12 year old blonde girl with dyslexia and ADHD, no less.)
Blonde Annabeth means nothing to me. I have never felt disrespected by some sort of dumb blonde stereotype… i have been blonde (with dyslexia and ADHD) my entire life and never called a dumb blonde. In fact, I think the struggles I’ve had with My learning disabilities have been softened because I was a little blonde girl and people were patient with me. The stereotype just doesn’t exist anymore if it ever did. I do not need Annabeth to be blonde, I do not want Annabeth to be blonde. No one needs Annabeth to be blonde.
Now Black Annabeth. Now that’s the good shit. That enriches her arc. That makes so much sense. What a good idea. I honestly can’t think of a single black character with learning disabilities. If they do it right? I can’t fucking wait.
So anyone saying that Annabeth was important to little blonde girls hurt by the dumb blonde stereotype? Do not believe them. I was the little girl they are trying to use as a scapegoat and I could have cared less, even back then. When I was 11 I did not need a blonde role model. You know what I needed? A black protagonist I could relate to. I needed to be exposed to the racism little black girls face. I was ignorant as fuck back then, probably still am. Black Annabeth would have helped me. And it will help black girls who are still looking for positive, smart representation.
So anyway anyone who’s against Black Annabeth can stay away from me please thank you goodnight.

Saw someone online say they didn't like Sofia's hair after the time jump in 3x08 because it was "too similar" and "basically the same" as how her hair was styled in season 2...AS IF THOSE WEREN'T HER BEST HAIR LOOKS?!?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like how often do we ever get to see interracial couples on TV where the Black girl isn't styled after eurocentric features so as to make her more appealing to her white, romantic counterpart? Gina/Sofia is literal hair goals, I won't hear anything different.

HEY ANIMATION JUNKIES I HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO DROP DISCLAIMER THIS IS FOR THE POC REP, Any Hate, Or can't Face different opinions There's the Portal Door to outer space.
This Post is Called POC Representation Animation, We Need It More Than Ever.
It's time to debunk HERE I GO!!!
Hello To all the Lovely Stars & Space Voyagers, This is the Brown Sugar Queen Kyoko Cane Aka The Black Crystal Jem Of The Daystar Voyage, I am a Cosplayer, A Fabulous Blerd if you will who does Drag/perform, Making Creative content on platforms involving Family Entertainment Mostly with some variety in it.
Tumblr media
I come to talk about something that's been buzzing in my mind about a topic needing to get debunked & spoken about, IS POC REPRESENTATION & HAIRSTYLES IN MEDIA.
GOD POC REP MATTERS IN MEDIA MATTERS ( STOP ACTING LIKE IT DOESNT)
As a black Person Growing Up Myself, It has been a beautiful journey road being a proud African American man coming out as genderqueer, I always Found Comfort & love In My own Skin & even my Hair of all textures, first time I saw the ever Strong lightning goddess storm in the xmen series on fox kids made a great impact in my life in the early days of the 80s & 90s along other favorite shows back then however,
Tumblr media
POC representation in the Future of Anime & western animation even in today's media has been distorted Or even limited on how we as black people are drawn. from caricatures To Stereotypes, or to follow a certain trend to make a profit from viewers & fans be it from influencers & popular media or just to be made Fun Of & Mocked, do to make a profit out of our black origins & History.
Example black character such as Usopp One piece.
Tumblr media
however there have been great anime that have made our features positive one is Sol Bianca and others
Pokemon, Michiko Hatchin, Naruto & Carole And Tuesday.
Tumblr media
Just like In Real Life, We As black people come in so many textures and beautiful complexions as you see in all of animation, & black-owned magazines, such as essence and this one Called Jet in the 1920s through Now celebrating our great culture.
Tumblr media
We As Blerds, Black Fans & Cosplayers should have good content in which we can express, & be uplifted by our skin Personality & meaning itself, No matter what background or environment to which we dress, or cosplay a character that's out of our skin tone.
we come so far to the point where we have great indie creators, cosplayers even compays from hair products blogs Manga & comic books.
I'm glad that we are coming into our own and doing better but there's still work to be done, on how Hollywood treats us, and until we see the next all-black piece of media that's when we make it
(Carole & Tuesday, afro samurai & Yusuke on netflix prime example)
NEXT SEGMENT
We need more Black Hairstyles in animation & we need it more than ever.
The Hair Style Topic, oh yes its no big surprise that hair controversy within media has sparked in outrage,or made in impact throughout, be it in and out of workplaces or in the entertainment industry, I do feel at times things could've been handled with care.
From what I've seen we have gotten 2 steps forward, 4 steps back situation of all the controversies coming from the killmonger haircut that's been sported, which is a limited stifled hairdo on how we are only presented and how our hair can be made into cause it's a following trend, Because this is not the only distinct hairsyle to have Iin animated media, A Half Cut Mop will Not do So Put some Soul Glo & Let It Grow.
Tumblr media
NOW you may wonder why i decided to put this post of a Disney main character of afro Latina background, well Luz Noceda I feel has great growth coming out to her friends and chosen family, however doesn't change the fact they didn't do anything for her to show ethnic representation other than speak Spanish, Having to show that aggressive Spicy latina Archetype to a Degree, & have a black father mention in season 2, having given no origin story or closure.
Tumblr media
throughout the show this showed has shown great lgbt representation even though at times flawed, in the relationship area. ( another topic for a video COmING SOON) however the owl house has fall flat on ethnic & hair representation, Gus is a great example of a character being sidelined a lot too.
Tumblr media
for instance luz noceda has been stifled into nothing but that pokemon goh knockoff haircut,
Tumblr media
even though there may have been open-minded viewers, who agree on luz hair being styled effectively, making many statements that hair shows so many emotions in animation, Down below
Tumblr media
That all hair on poc characters is a good is how you pull it off, in the picture below there tons of great characters in many hairdos complementing them.
sometimes i wish luz character could have handled by poc staff, and have her own break out like the rest of the female characters, cause I kid you not, I met a lot of non-gender-conforming characters or people, who sport many hair designs. It infuriates me such a beautiful person Luz Batista find out the pilot that her character was somewhat sidelined due to the writing Problems & Shipping and I'm baffled how of course white staff members didn't do their research on Afro Latina her cause Luz is beautiful
Knowing other shows such as Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur Do an incredible job of Discussing on how black hair is powerful, magical & comes in many shapes and intricate designs if you know what your doing and I for one have a graceful mother who a beautician coming from her,
We are in an era where black people shouldn't exist or we arent amount to anything and I too had my fair share of my hair being talked about in a nasty way,
This concludes the story post of how black representation should matter support shows out of mainstream like indie projects, cause there paving the way also a video post of my channel and The owl house debunk series thanks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now this is has been another topic post , right now getting ready for my epic momocon outing meeting Disney creators, and everything animation, hope everyone has a good one and all the links on good hair and my video post is here below, Have a Have a Nice Cruise & Stay Shining.

idk why but the black community (loud balck people on social media ) think that their issues are unique issue that no one else can relate to and their not.
colorism , racism, ect all this stuff people do and have experienced
colorism exists in multiple cultures are in the world and its not a product of white people, or christianity. China ahd the same thing I you were darksinnend they treated you as a peasant because that meant you worked outside. who hasn't felt bad about their skin their in. this idea of white supremacy being everywhere is just a lie everyone in every cuktrie felt bd about tier own skin even if its not dark sometime women don't like how light they are.
hair texture: issues tats relevant in one again multiple culture and with changing beauty standards every women fights to be apart of that. hen dove did that cute curly girl love commercial about loving your curls, girls of all backgounds (because not only balck people ahve curls ) have issue with loving a hair style thats not always common. even if it is common its about loving yourself anyway. and who doesn't want the world to love themselves?
racism, once again not new or unique. the. you go to different cultures. even in the last different hostility to different people were always present American probe is were only told about European and American history and dont learn enough or dig deep enough into any other counties history.

The deep seated urge to take your hair down at night is baffling to me, like it has to have some sort of science behind it. Anyway, I'm on my own for cutting these braids out so wish me luck that I don't actually cut my own hair🤸🏾‍♀️

Why do others bring ppl down about their hair?
Bullied at work due to my hair
I started going natural a full year after getting relaxers for basically my whole life. I recently cut the back of my hair only atm due to how much more damage it was than the front. However, some coworkers of mines have commented “why my hair look like this?” or” I can’t do anything else to it?” The same two co workers ask this same question constantly and at one point one of them who’s also a black woman said “I look like IT the clown when he’s coming out the drain” while she was assisting a customer and even the customer laughed. I feel so disgusting and discouraged because I thought she of all ppl wouldn’t know when someone transitioning to natural would understand. Since she told us about her mom going natural. But thru the end, another black queen took my back and got on both of them for me. I’m not a confrontational person, yet she said her words then pulled me aside and gave me words of encouragement and we exchanged numbers.
