It's time to be cooking. 👩‍🍳 Tonight's diner: Brandade!! A specialty from the south of France (Nîmes), but also exists in other Mediterranean countries. I didn't make the "real" one from Nîmes though, but the most common we find in France, a brandade "parmentière" which is a gratin of mashed potatoes mixed with fish. There's no mashed potatoes in the original recipe. My brandade is made with saithe (didn't have any cod bc expensive af and even less dried and salted).

Brandade duchesse - Croquetas de Bacalao

This is another recipe that takes advantage of the convenience of instant mashed potato to make something quick and delicious. It's a bit of a fusion between a frensh brandade and a spanish croquette. You can substitute for potatoes, around 600 gr.

Put slowly to the boil and keep hot for 30 mins:

200 gr dried cod (bacalao) skinned and boned cut in chinks and rehydrated

400 ml coconut milk or cream

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with immersion blender:

90 gr instant potato mash powder

3 small spring onions

ca 0.5 dl lemon juice

2 eggs

A generous splash of olive oil

5 cloves of garlic

Pipe unto a pan and bake in the oven at 200C until nicely browned

This is always a hit, even with people that doesn't necessarily love sea food normally.

How would a masquerade ball with Izuku, Bakugo, Shoto, Kirishima, Mirio and Shinso go? Would they be embaressed about being in costume? Would they take it off as soon as they could? Are they good dancers or would they half-ass everything?

I never thought about a masquerade ball before, it's a little bit out there but it does sound fun.

A/N: This screams fairy tail to me. Anyone else?

Izuku may be a horrible dancer but you bet that he would go all out on the consume part of the masquerade ball. He'd work on both aspects day and night, with a lot more success being in the outfit department. When it's time for the ball he'd be happy to show off his outfit to you, complimenting you on yours, stuttering over the compliments you give him and grateful for the mask keeping his blushing face hidden from your eyes.

All but begs you not to dance, he's not a dancer at all and he'll end up ruining your dress and your shoes most likely. Since he's such a nervous wreck you take him to the rooftop, there it's just the two of you dancing, no one to judge him and you're free to kiss him too. You've been waiting all night to do that.

Bakugo completely half-asses the consume, he cannot be bothered to look like a damn idiot on front of everyone there. The dancing though, he wasn't skill before but the moment he hears about the masquerade he starts practicing. For him its as serious as his hero training, he'll show everyone that he can out dance them, outlast them. You see him reading books about dancing too but you don't point it out to him because it's too cute for him to stop.

He is definitely a show off, even if his costume is all but falling apart during said dance. By the end of it he's almost fully out of costume and he could not care less because he has your eyes on him, your body against him, your smile beaming up at him. He has the most beautiful girl in the school dancing with him.

Shoto doesn't really want to dress up or go to the masquerade ball in the first place. Too bad he can't resist your puppy dog eyes, or you asking him to be your date, your prince charming for the dance. When you put it like that... fine. But he gets to leave if it becomes too much for him. It turns out that he's pretty good at playing the role of your prince charming, even going so far as to escort you to the ball room, bow down and kiss your hand before the dance starts.

It's almost like he was born for the role. He is also a very, very good dancer, surprising you and everyone else watching. He isn't paying attention to them, he's only looking at you, keeping his hands on your hips as you sway with the music and leading you across the dance floor.

Kirishima would try really hard to impress you in both aspects when he's not very good in either. His costume may look half-assed but in reality he poured many sleepless nights into making it and has brandades on his fingers to prove it. He would never half-ass anything when it comes to impressing his girl, or making you happy in general. Stares at you a little when he sees you in your outfit and a part of him can't help but imagine you in a wedding dress.

There's still a long ways to go until that day, and a good thing too because he is the worst dancer in the class. It's such a shame, he tries really hard but he doesn't have the coordination for it. What he lack there he makes up for with his spirit and smiles, he never lets it get him down and has fun with you for the rest of the night.

Mirio goes all out on both aspects of the masquerade ball. He shows up there as a shining star of the event, looking like full on royalty, catching everyone's eyes but only caring for yours. You're his girlfriend and he's here to make sure you both have a great time tonight. It doesn't matter what your own dancing skills are because he has enough to go around.

The man never runs out of stamina but knows you can't keep up, that's fine he can use some alone time with you. Or he can simply slow down the pace and start swaying back and forth, humming to the tune of the song, your head on his chest and his arms on your lower back, keeping you safe. He wants to have a lot of pictures taken too so the two of you can always remember this night. His copy is always on the wall beside his bed.

Shinso isn't the most enthusiastic about the masquerade ball but he goes for the sake of your happiness. You help him pick out a good enough costume, apparently you want to match. Fine with him, the more people know you're a couple the better. One thing that he can do pretty well is dancing but he hasn't had many opportunities to do so with his lack of attending parties or hanging out with many people unless he has to.

You get the feeling after the first few dances that he's relaxed a little bit, his posture not as stiff anymore and his turned into the tiniest smile. It's probably not as bad being here because he's in such lovely company. Maybe for the next masquerade ball he'll try a little bit more, if you're his date again that is.

“The meeting….. your meeting…” you gasp “can we….do we… fuck!” You moan as Charlie chuckled, his hand slipped from your hip to your clit.

Twisted Wonderland at Tokyo Disney Resort

『ディズニーツイステッドワンダーランド』の各寮をイメージした特別なコース料理が、期間限定で提供されます！

[Twisted Wonderland] Special course meals inspired by each dormitory will be available for a limited time at Disney Ambassador Hotel! !

Here is the website for details about the location, the Empire Grill restaurant, as well as how to make reservations.

The price for each set is 13,000 yen, which is roughly $88. Starting at the beginning of the month of April, special courses will be offered over 8 periods that last a week each.

The first period ran from April 1st-7th with Heartslabyul being that period's theme.

The Heartslabyul Set details:

~Plate in the top center~ Strawberry scented gazpacho red snow crab brandade

~Big plate with the card suits on the left~ Galician style octopus Sardine and paprika confit Beef falsomagro Grilled scallop and salpicon salad Grilled salmon marinaded in dill sauce Beef tongue arancini

~Plate in the top left corner~ Green onion and scallop linguine with garlic and oil awa-odori chicken consommé soup

~Plate in top right corner~ Grilled domestic beef sirloin with fresh onion puree Peperonata and beef jus

The dessert plate at the bottom is a white yogurt rose with mandarin orange sorbet inside that you can 'paint' red with mixed berry sauce.

The set also came with a Heartslabyul Dorm charm.

The Heartslabyul Magical Drink costs ¥1,600 It contains apple juice, grape juice, iced tea, rose syrup, and strawberry syrup.

Coffee and tea are also available.

The second period will run from May 13th-19th with Savanaclaw as the theme.

A "Secret" set is also teased. It seems that it will come after Diasomnia.

Alors parfois je suis rigide oui, mais il y a des consignes qui ne sont pas faites pour les courgettes.

On passe obligatoirement par l'étape lavage des mains au sefs dans des toilettes ou il clairement inscrit que c'est une personne par une personne, parce que hygiène toussa et covid toussa.

Donc du coup voir 5 (oui oui) administratifs entrer dans les toilettes pour se laver les mains (alors que j'y étais encore il qu'il n'y a de toute manière que 2 lavabos),... disons que ça agace !

Heureusement la brandade de morue était très très bonne.
