idk what it is about the way dungeon meshi portrays relationships but it feels so unique to me

i like all of the ships and also want none of them to be canon. it's fun to imagine literally all of them, but it's just as fun to examine the platonic relationships and what they mean

it's so refreshing to see marcille & laios' friendship but i totally get why people ship them. marcille & falin's devotion to each other is amazing to explore in any context. chilchuck & laios, laios & kabru, senshi & chilchuck, even toshiro & falin. literally every character dynamic no matter the romance/lack of it is so interesting to me

it really felt like a breath of fresh air getting into something where the relationships between characters felt both real and substantial the way they are, but also capable of being expanded upon and played with without feeling like they're betraying the main themes/ideas. man i love dungeon meshi

no one else was willing to help my small trans family leave Texas, but we could because of help from furrys.

no other group gets even CLOSE to making me feel accepted. even nonfurry trans groups show little tolerance for my place on the autism spectrum, and make me feel like a freak.

no other group was even remotely willing to listen to me on my negative experiences with the Christian Right Wing and its purity culture.

there are still issues with various bigotries worming their way into the furry community, and I will always speak up and fight them when ever the time arises. but like, keep in mind that if you're uncomfortable with furry on any level, I won't feel safe to be my self around you. that's just how it is

for tina i can definitely see her wanting a HUGE expensive(ish) fairytale wedding where she celebrates her love and everything and invites like everyone she's ever known and extended family even if its kinda exhuasting and stressful. she wants her wedding to be a special memory!!

for louise i don't think she'll ever WANT to get married esp with a huge wedding or a white gown or whatever. assuming she ends up w/ someone i could definitely see them just going to the courthouse after work and signing all the documents needed so they'd share taxes etc but honestly louise having a wedding sounds like her worst nightmare. similarly i dont think she would want or enjoy having kids. if we're assuming she'd be marrying rudy he'd probably be fine doing whatever because huge events stress him out anyway and his parents had a big fancy wedding vs louise's parents where they went to the courthouse on a random thursday afternoon and which of those marriages lasted longer?? so a big wedding doesn't necessarily equal a happy life or marriage
