Ben 10 pokemon au

hi this is what ive been working on its taken me a bit

Basically my brain hasent been able to pick a fixation, so my partner suggested mixing them and thats how this au was born!

So to info dump all my thoughts ben in this au is like just really good at pokemon battles, him gwen and grandpa max traveled around a summer when grandpa max got the go ahead from the kids parents to take them pokemon training (hes a professor and was champion a long time ago though he keeps it a secret)

Bens current team: ditto, goomy, forslass, incineroar, carnevine and xurkitree

younger Bens team: ditto, machamp, haunter, white striped basculin, quilava and yanma

(Not completely sure on his teams yet) his first pokemon was ditto

Theres not much to say here that isnt written on the drawing or said in Bens so im just gonna give you her teams

Gwens current team: delcatty, mimikyu, polteageist, hetterne, espeon and tinkaton

young Gwens team: skittie, sinistea, hatenna, eevee and tinkatink

skitte was har first pokemon, and i also put it and delcatty on her shirt instead of her usual cat logo cuz i thought it was cute

Ok Kevin time! Kevin was a street kid that joined team rocket to survive, hes also pretty good at pokemon battles. He tried befriend Ben to steal bens ditto when he was younger, later figuring out he really didnt like stealing pokemon or working for team rocket, so he came to grandpa max and asked for shelter, max ofc couldnt turn him down even with all the trouble hed caused. I havent draw their af/ua versions, but Gwen starts warming up to him and dating him, so Ben kinda just has to accept that Kevin is staying, he pretty annoyed at first, but him and Kevin quickly become best friends

Kevins current team: zoroark, melmetal, alolan golem, revavroom, onyx and sudowodoo

young Kevins team: zorua, alolan geodude, varoom, onyx, bonsly and meltan

Kevins first pokemon was zorua

Rook shows up when ben is left alone cuz Gwen and Kevin go and take over gyms as gym leaders. Rook is a new gym leader who grandpa max has convinced Ben he should make friends with cuz hes pretty lonely without Gwen and Kevin, at first Ben is kinda mad about (like in the show) but he warms up to Rook pretty quick and they later start dating

Rooks team is: lucario, mienshao, heracross, quaquaval, bewear and hisuian decidueye

(I know the decidueye kinda dosnt make sense cuz its back in time and all that but lets ignore that)

And thats all for now!! Expect more cuz i really like this au and i wanna draw them with their pokemon!! :DDDD!!

Before the events of Destiny Heroes, Mattison was a bit more of a girly-girl. To be fair, she didn't mind wearing dresses or looking more feminine--her mom (Jessie) being a bit more indulgent when it comes to Coordinator/Stager Performances while her dad (James) was a bit more fashion savy and assisting with picking out attire as well as make-up tips. She didn't have her own Pokémon partner growing up, so, during Performances, she'd often borrow her parent's Pokémon, namely either Wobbuffet, Carnevine, or Inkay. Once Jewel came around about a year later, she would taker her on as a bit of a "partner", despite having to keep her in secret.

Also... "Little Star Child" is a nod to her Japanese name: Hoshiko (欲子), since the Pokémon DUB gives the characters English names that are different from their original Japanese names. And, I wanted to give Mattie something that was a nod to something that would best suit her. So, I went with Hoshiko to be a nice little nod to James's part of the motto: "reach for the stars above"; though, this name is also kept in the little nickname he gives her in English, which is "Starlight". Other than the naming convention, her outfit, which first appeared in Kanto Kids, is a more modest and casual attire with the color palette from Jessie's Contest disguise, Jessilina, in the Diamond and Pearl series--the oranges continuing to be the primary color of the outfit. Other than a few minor tweaks from the 12-year-old version of her is the adjustment in her hair (no second bang being pinned back), and the re-design of her locket.

Other than that, I've been thinking about this lil gremlin, and wanted to polish up her old design :heart: Plus, I think it's fair that, as a reward for completing a Commission Batch, I'll make a small little something for myself (nothing too big or super detailed, that way I won't take away too much time or burn out too easily before jumping into the next batch).

So fun fact: shiny hunting in Legends Arceus is VERY easy if you do it right! Spent about an hour and now have a shiny Infernape!

And before that? Ran across a random wild Lopunny AND Carnevine! Literally can almost make a full shiny team now lmao. Got a feeling I'll be shiny hunting a LOT in this game!

Because I've been watching pokeani all day, and being sick, I thought about "What if all the pets and living creatures in my life were pokemon" what would that look like.

It'd be like as a kid, my parents had:

My mom always had poodles, so furfrou, my dad always had labs, but Arcanine seems to fit well enough personality-wise.

As for me I found a stray Ragdoll when I was like... 11? She was beyond regal, calm, and elegant. Ragdolls are related to the persians, so why not? Or maybe Espeon.

(It's haaaard.)

When I became an adult:

I've had many fish, mostly basic goldfish. I also had betta, but I don't see anything properly comparable. The closest to plecostemus would probably be Whiscash. Around this time, I also cared for black velvet leatherleaf slugs, but amazingly, most of the slug pokemon are not terrestrial, so slugma it is.

For a short time I "caught" and released a couple pidove x3 As they tend to be pretty dopey and need help sometimes.

As of now and future:

I have my baby Cheeto, who I could have chosen to be a Litten, due to Tabby, but his personality is more Meowth. I also recently grew some oyster mushrooms ; v; I love them. ♡ I'd choose more plants, but there isn't really a cilantro/coriander pokemon...

Lastly, who I'd want to add to my team in the near enough (hopefully) future! Soon enough, some cacti, some carnivorous plants, clovers (but is that a pokemon?) So bellsprout, carnevine, cancnea, etc. And last but not least Duckies!! ; v; ♡♡♡

Twenty-five years ago, a tragic accident occurred in Ecruteak City. An unidentified woman of considerable wealth and her lover evaded security and attempted to scale the Burned Tower. The weakened beams triggered a mini-collapse, and it was confirmed that the couple fell to their deaths. Security was increased around and inside the tower to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

Ten years ago, Aliah Aldon felt the cool night breeze on her face, and knew that she was dreaming.

She had collapsed happily on some finished transcriptions just hours ago, finally pleased with her handiwork. Her pen scratched new life into the faded ink of Johto’s history, and even in the cramped confines of the Sprout Tower, the Lady was determined to tell the legends perfectly. With one final practiced stroke, the documentation recording The Fall of the Brass Tower was complete. As the parchment cooked under flickering lights, an exhausted, stiff, but happy Liah fell into the swirling abyss of sleep.

And here she was now.

With a sharp intake of crisp air, the Sprout Sage knew that she was perched on top of the legendary Bell Tower, the crystalline adornment glistening above her head. Blinking away the haze of sleep, the teenager’s sights fell on something still more fascinating--there was a couple sitting just feet from her, their legs dangling over the rooftop. As if she could sense Liah’s presence, the woman of the couple turned towards her with a warm smile--and the Lady let out a gasp.

The woman looked exactly like her: emerald hair, wide eyes, and an air of elegance in both her looks and wardrobe. There were marked wrinkles around her eyes, and the corners of her mouth crinkled kindly when she smiled. There was an ethereal aura about her, something unearthly, but somehow Liah found her words.

“...Mom?” she asked in a small voice, the word sounding foreign on her lips. The woman’s smile widened and she beckoned Liah closer with a pale hand. The Sage reluctantly followed, inching forwards until her mother could hug her tightly. “How are you, Aliah? It seems like you’re okay. Oh...oh gods, it’s such a relief. Oh, Arceus...” the older woman whispered, her tears leaking onto Liah’s shoulder. In a state of open-mouthed shock, Liah could only look at the other half of the couple: a scruffy, well-built man with a sad look in his kind eyes.

“We didn’t want to leave you,” he muttered softly, clearly not one for words. “But we had no choice. I'm so sorry.”

“Don’t listen to him, Aliah...” her mother soothed, her tone gentle even in its reproach. “We’re both here, visiting you now. And we’re so, so happy to see what a beautiful woman you’ve become.”

“What...?” asked Liah dumbly, her voice trailing off and cracking in her mother’s embrace. “I-I don’t understand. I don’t understand any of this. If I’m dreaming and you’ve come to visit just now, then...”

Liah’s voice cracked again as she started to put the pieces together, tears blurring her vision. “...no. No, you can’t tell me that. That’s unfair...that’s--that’s so unfair...” Her mother held Liah close as the Lady sniffled in her arms. “If I’m dreaming...then how do I know that any of this is real? You? Dad?”

“I guess that’s for you to decide,” her father murmured, a twinkle in his eye as he looked off into the distance. “We just came to check up on you...even if it has been a little while. We’re sorry for that, but know that we’re here for you. We’re always with you.”

“Oh, Aliah...” the elder lady murmured, tears in her own eyes again as she held her daughter at arms length with a beaming smile. “Keep being kind, keep trying your best, and don’t let anything hold you back from what you want to do! Live with purpose--and you’ll be happier for it, I promise.”

Liah felt something warm in her chest and couldn’t help but smile as she scooted in between her mother and father, both of them putting a comforting hand on her shoulder as they looked out over the city. “When your father and I went on our journeys outdoors, we always tried to camp somewhere new...dear, tell Aliah about our experience in Pastoria’s Great Marsh,” her mother recalled fondly, a teasing twinkle in her eye. Her partner, who had been quiet, lit up as he retold a story about Carnevine and really, really deep mud. All three of them happily swapped tales until Liah’s eyes started to grow heavy. Husband and wife exchanged understanding looks.

“I don’t want to go...” Liah mumbled, a tear trickling down her cheek as she leaned back into her mother, who wiped the drop away tenderly. “I can’t leave you now...”

“We’ll always be with you,” soothed her mother, running a hand through the Lady’s hair. “And we’ll stay until you fall asleep. You’ve done such a good job...you’re so strong...”

Liah’s eyelids fluttered. “Promise you’ll stay with me?” she murmured, slipping back into deep sleep. Her mother and father both answered together, smiling.

“Promise.”

Liah snapped awake, scattering parchment everywhere. The familiar room seemed strange to her: still bathed in moonlight, with the long wooden table full of documents that didn’t hold much weight anymore. Moonbeams still streamed in through the window, and Liah walked slowly towards the pane, holding her chest as if she was in a trance. She marveled at the skyscape, her heart racing--she had never really taken notice of such beauty before. The seeds of change had taken root within her conscious.

Liah looked up and smiled, a tear rolling down her cheek. Two stars seemed to shine more brightly than the others.

Woah I haven’t played Pokemon in ages so I’m a bit rusty! I have so many fave pokemons so I just picked the ones that came to my mind first (which happen to be all but one from g1). P.S. Generations beyond White 2 are foreign to me.

5. Cubone

-super cute and still feels like one of the most  original pokemon designs out there

-Bone club!

-its tragic background story is both fascinating and morbid/sad

4. Meowth

-well mainly because of the anime, I MEAN A TALKING POKEMON!!! (how come he wasn’t considered the rarest pokemon of them all? Screw legendaries, there are like fifty of those now but only one special Meowth!

-in the games: PAY DAY and pick up ability (because I need those precious coins to buy potions and ultra balls)

-Weird but still sort of cute design :D He looks a bit like a bug with those big whiskers and that tail

3. WOBBUFFET

-my savior

-always gotta have one in my team. Also he’s awesome in the anime too.

-only pacifist pokemon out there

-my favorite starter! And it evolves into Wartortle! Both are the cutest!

Honorary mentions to: I use lots of grass (grass&poison preferably) type pokemons like Cacnea, Victreebel, Carnevine and Gloom. Also I often want to have same pokemons as James does xD Gengar, Sableye and Raichu are amazing too. Paras and Parasect have super cool cries in the old games. Nidoking is a badass.

Got my sister a pokemon recipie book for Christmas and she hasn’t used it so. I tried making some cabbage carnevines and they had to be disposed of quickly

#pokemon #the hylife #the cabbage is the book is so green. theres no way thats been cooked for like 10 minutes #also why use ribbons for vines when u can just use more vegetables which u have left over bc ur bad at basic cooking math #i cut the second ones mouth out and e wasnt cooked properly. so i had to put h back in and e disintergrated further #sometimes being neutral just dosent read well
