kevin wouldnt leave penelope alone so she could focus on her work so he had to come in and tell him to get out

dave got upset bc he thought hotch was calling him stupid in comparison to reid so hotch had to let him have his way

all while he's desperately trying to help save a kidnapped woman and 4 kids jfdksfjdks

S4 ep 8 masterpiece! I mean what can i say about this wild ass episode that hasn't already been said? A weird ass ride.

Reid with the wack ass golden ratio graphics, colonel sanders committing homicide, reid's horrible philosophy joke. Just incredible stuff.

One thing i extra really like though is garcia and rossi plotting together to defeat colonel sanders. Its a cute bonding moment for a pair that eventually becomes iconic.

But i just wanna talk to the costume department why on earth did they dress colonel sanders like that 😭😭

I fucking hate the whole icky vibe of this episode and also because this guy is like basically pulling all the reigns like he is directing the whole case and I just wanna punch him in the face so bad

And the way he talks down to Rossi, essentially calling him stupid. FUCK! It’s also the first episode to my memory where an unsub was specifically targeting the BAU Team or one of its agents. Like specifically sought out one of the agents. And those I think are my not so favorite episodes.

He’s a real bitch

Also also, this is the fucking Fibonacci sequence episode which is one of the worst moments on criminal minds, and maybe on tv ever lmao

hi love!! I'm doing alright! Last few days have been hard mentally but my bff came over yesterday and it really helped. Starting to get stressed over finals but I'm so excited for next semester. Just taking things day by day really. I started reading again, not just fics, and I'm almost done with The Charm Offensive (very very cute and mildly smutty). I've also restarted cm & st. I never finished the last 2 & half season of cm and I don't know if I can mental handle the last 2 eps of st again.

I'm usually pretty chill about horror and gore (CM isn't even supposed to be one tbh), but 4x25 & 4x26 were the grossest episodes on the show so far. I can't even give it a good rating because it made me physically nauseous. I also felt bad for Lucas. Yes, he killed all those people, but it was like he was groomed to do so? His brother played on his guilt, so Lucas would hunt all those people to try and fix his mistake. I feel like if Lucas were offered help in the first place, he could have loved a better life, not being manipulated into this path. It's just so incredibly sad.

Not to mention the ending with Hotch—no quote for the first time ever. "Sometimes the day just... ends." As clever as Hotch is, I don't think there was an easy way out of this one. You can't really win when you're about to be shot in the face (at least I don't think there is.) You can try to talk to that omnivore but I don't think it'll work. We'll see.

S4 was nice, but I was hyped on the reviews. I expected much more from this season & often didn't meet my expectations. Some episodes that rated 8.5 on IMDB are a 6 for me at best (I'm I'm being generous). Still, 4x01 (Mayhem, 10/10), 4x03 (Minimal Loss, my beloved, 8/10), 4x08 (Masterpiece. Wasn't my fav but it was quite interesting. 7/10), 4x12 (Soul Mates, 8/10), 4x14 (Cold Comfort 8/10, though I already forgot what was that about lol), 4x16 (Pleasure is my business 9/10), 4x20 (Conflicted, 9/10), 4x25 (Amplification, 9/10 😍) were nice. More of 7/10 in this season but I don't think they are worth mentioning (lost of scrolling through my phone bc i was bored during those, not to mention lower rating). A lot of 6/10 and lower which isn't something I would want to rewatch.
