The minutes, hours, and sometimes even days after a fight were some of the hardest for Ty. Every inch of her was hurting, bruises were swelling up in places she didn't even know could bruise, cuts were bleeding everywhere, and her head felt like a freight train had run through it. After going through medical afterwards, Ty was let go, her brain in a complete fog as she was shuffled back to her hotel. Ty didn't even really realize where she was going until her coach set her in the elevator and sent her up to her floor. By the time she was up and out of the elevator, her mind was blank once again, her brain grasping for anything solid to hold on to through the pressure that was building in it.

Walking out into the hallway, her eyes scanned around, everything processed through a haze. Which room was hers? Did she even have her key? What if this wasn't even her floor? The worries were mounting, the confusion bringing an anxiety that was slowly creeping up in her chest. Looking down, Ty realized she was at least holding her key. Maybe her coach had given it to her, maybe she'd grabbed it herself. The memories were fuzzy of the last hour since the fight, bits and pieces of it coming back to her like a bunch of puzzle pieces that she didn't know how to put back together.

She was still standing rooted in the same spot when the elevator dinged again, sending another wave of pain to her head. Not quite able to turn her neck from how stiff it already was, Ty slowly trudged to turn around, a wave of relief settling when she saw it was Emmy. "Hey," she mumbled out, the word coming out slowly, like she was fumbling to even form the syllable at all. Her eyes closed for a second, trying to refocus to find the question that had popped in and out of her brain already. "Going out tonight?" Not the question she'd initially wanted to ask, but the easiest one to grab onto. They were in Vegas, they should be out, they should be celebrating.

Hii Yuriko, long time no see. How are you? I'm still happily together with all of my boyfriends. Since July I've also been dating a playwright. He's a bit eccentric but fun to be around with. Sometimes when he gets inspiration for a new play he forgets to eat and sleep, so I have to take care of him.

Recently I started messaging with a guy who claims to be the grim reaper and told me that he's after my soul. I don't believe him of course, he's just some random person on the internet, but I love teasing him. He gets easily flustered and is actually pretty cute.

"I'm doing well, thanks for asking, Emmi~" Yuriko smiled.

"Oh my... that's so interesting. I'm glad that you all are living happily together. A playwriter too? That is so... so... amazing! Can I meet him? I mean... I have never talked to a playwriter and I'm kind of curious how they do their job."

Yuriko listened to Emmi's explanation. "Ehhhh?! The Grim Reaper? Are... are you sure... umh... that is okay? You know that the Vampires are real and you have... erhhm... sea creatures as your boyfriends too. What if this Grim Reaper is... for real too?"

Shaking her head, Yuriko wondered if Emmi was in trouble or not. Would such a person really be flustered and cute? Maybe it was as Emmi said, just a weird person on the Internet...

"Just be careful, okay? I... I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

With her next big fight looming in a few weeks, Tyler's mentality had shifted into work mode. Everything she was doing was fully focused on that, leaving little time for anything else in her life. Even Emmy had seen less and less of Tyler as the fight got closer. Her usual already lacking levels of communication had fallen to a complete zero, prompting Emmy to have to come find her at the gym just to drag any bit of time out of her. After sending a flurry of blows into the heavy bag she was training on, Ty let out a loud huff, tossing her gloves off and stalking away from the bag to where Emmy was sitting. "Coach is on one if he thinks I'm keeping this schedule the rest of the fucking month," she grumbled, though in reality she was the one pushing herself more than anyone else was. "Do you get to come to Vegas this time? Or is your prison warden going to keep you locked up in suburbia?"

Senjuro, unlike his brother, has very relaxing hobbies and doesn’t really like to go out and do anything high energy unless it’s a special occasion. This is why Muichiro likes to hang out with him the most out of all his friends. He seeks him out more than anyone because their idea of spending time together is sitting under a tree while Senjuro reads a book and Muichiro takes a nap. Even after Muichiro recovers from his amnesia and tries to spend more time with his friends, he finds he’s almost always with Senjuro, and Senjuro is just happy to have a friend who’s somewhat normal 😅

Fox on the Beach — RP Event

Tiny clouds sailed over the sky, shadowing the sunlight while the hot wind died down. Some would have said it was a pity but not the two girls whose gazes were locked on the shore on the line where waves embraced over and over again at a steady pace. Their bare toes were covered with sand but neither of them cared.

"Umh... I'm sure there must be seashells somewhere around here..." Yuriko pondered, glancing around. "Perhaps we should go somewhere less crowded..."

The kitsune woman lifted her head and let her gaze wander through the beach. "Look, look, Emmi! That part behind the cliff is practically abandoned! Let's go there!"

Hurrying her steps, Yuriko grabbed Emmi's wrist and dragged the brunette with her to the quieter part of the beach. She couldn't quite explain what happened once they got there but it felt like the air was dense a bit and the voices around them disappeared except the soft song of the water loving the seashore.

"Oh my gosh!"

"That's one huge seashell! Let's go closer!"
