Another one of the books I did for Tiny Books Bang by Renegade Bindery.

This is The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde typeset by @simply-sithel in octodecimo format (with the book being 5x7 cm. Ish).

For this one I went back to a fun time in my life when I used to cut out tiny paper portraits of my friends and family. So the cameos inlaid on the cover are cut out by hand. I also made the Rorschach-esque endpapers. Also, this teeny tiny book is chonky enough to warrant actual sewn endbands, so there they are.

A small painting (as a treat!) of a November campfire. Photo credit belongs to https://www.instagram.com/slow.orange/ I haven’t had any art time lately, and the fall colors have been making me itch to paint. Aside from the fact that black and very dark oil paints tend to catch the light and get annoying ‘highlights’ when you photograph them, this turned out ok! It cheers me up anytime I get to use orange or purple in a painting. I *might* add a few more very small highlights in a day or two, once I’ve had a chance to study it.

All proceeds from these sales going to aid Ukrainian antifascist and queer projects.

Cyanotype printed on 5x7 inch (15.24 x 10.16 cm) watercolor paper. Unframed.

One of the books I bound for Tiny Books Bang held by Renegade Bindery! It's a sextodecimo, meaning the whole book is about 5x7 cm.

Kodiak Island Drifting is A League of Their Own/Pacific Rim fusion, and who could say no to that combo? It was written and typeset by @obstinatecondolement.

This was the first time I tried sewn board binding with breakaway spine, and I loved it! Also first time making a self-ended book, because the blank page count just worked out perfectly.

I was also lucky enough to get my hands on some Soviet era materials that I think go very well with the postapocalyptic/50s vibes of the fandoms involved.

Masuk Rumah Tetangga Tanpa Izin, Kepergok Pelaku Pukul Kepala Korban

LAMPUNG UTARA - Masuk rumah tetangga tanpa izin dan terpergok mengambil barang-barang korbannya seorang wanita berusia 37 tahun pukul kepala pemilik rumah menggunakan kayu. Lantaran aksinya yang dipergoki tuan rumah dan melakukan pelaku pukul dikepala korban itu, CC inisial pelaku diamankan aparat kepolisian sektor (Polsek) Abung Tengah Polres Lampung Utara. Kapolsek Abung Tengah, AKP M. Antoni Harahap mewakili Kapolres Lampung Utara AKBP Kurniawan Ismail, SH, SIk, MIK, pada, Minggu (5/3/2023) mengatakan, terduga pelaku pemukulan itu diamankan jajarannya pada, Sabtu (4/3/2023) malam. Dijelaskannya, menindak lanjuti adanya laporan dari korban pihaknya langsung melakukan penyidikan dan mengamankan terduga pelaku yang merupakan seorang wanita berinisial CC umur 37 tahun itu dan pelaku diamankan dari kediamannya pada, Sabtu malam sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB, ujar Kapolsek. Terduga pelaku memukul kepala korban dengan menggunakan sepotong kayu dan mengambil barang-barang berupa satu buah barang emas seberat 3 gram, uang tunai 155 ribu, dan dua buah dompet itu telah diamankan pihaknya. Kapolsek Abung Tengah, AKP M. Antoni Harahap melanjutkan, peristiwa tersebut terjadi pada, Sabtu (4/3/2023) sore sekira pukul 15.00 WIB. Terduga pelaku masuk kedalam rumah korban melalui pintu belakang, saat berada didalam rumah korban pelaku dipergoki oleh tuan rumahnya dan seketika itu terduga pelaku langsung memukul kepala korbannya dengan menggunakan sepotong kayu jenis kasau dengan ukuran 5x7 cm hingga membuat korban jatuh tidak sadarkan diri. Selanjutnya terduga pelaku masuk keruang tengah mengambil sebuah tas yang tergantung berisikan barang-barang milik korban berupa dua buah dompet, kalung emas 3 gram dan uang tunai 155 ribu rupiah. "Korban tersadar setelah pelaku melarikan diri dan meminta tolong kepada warga," ungkap AKP M Antoni Harahap. Alhasil, sambungnya, setelah melalui serangkaian penyelidikan pihaknya telah mengamankan terduga pelaku dikediamannya. Bersamanya juga diamankan barang-barang milik korban berikut sepotong kayu yang diduga dipergunakan oleh pelaku memukul korban.
