starting to think perhaps my black and white stuff with minimal color is just an evolution of all the doodles and sketches I did with ink or pencil in class during my entire school and highschool years bc I couldn't be bothered to actually use my color pencils to paint since if it went wrong, there was no way to undo it easily.

ms paint is something i used to looove playing around on as a kid so it was really fun to return to it now! i would say it's nearly impossible to get any kind of 'blended' look with the brushes they have on paint, but if you're looking for a free program that gives you an interesting painterly style then i'd def say give it a go!

It's really funny doing primary and secondary research on students' print vs ebook preferences and realizing that my preference for ebooks is like 30% BC of my bad back

Like should have been obvious but with the amount of reading and research I do I would have so many flare ups if I tried to read physical books only

Every time I see a student in a study cite not wanting to carry around stacks of books I realize how much that is a factor in my book format choices
