@sensei-venus I just got a chaotic af idea for gremlin!Reader. What if she had a cryptic pregnancy? (cw: birth scene, blood)
Like she never knows or even suspects it at all. Then one day when she's home alone, she starts having this awful tightness and pain in her belly and pelvis. Then it passes and she thinks it's okay, but it continues to happen again and again throughout the day. She hates hospitals and doctors so she refuses to go to one and tough it out.
When she realizes it's labor ain't and contractions, it's too late to do anything about it. She has to push. So as the boss-ass queen she is, she delivers her baby on her own. She pushes a good five or six times before he slides out onto her bed. She struggles to sit up but does it anyway to get her baby in her arms, pat his back, and get him breathing. He starts crying so loud that it shocks her. She gets him cleaned up as best she can and lays him on her chest, hoping to calm him down.
All these little baby delivery things she's learned from listening to Moon's midwifery stories. So naturally when things calm down a bit, she calls Moon and is like "Hey, so I just had a baby."
And Moon is like "Haha, that's so funny, Reader."
"No, I'm serious, Moon, I need you to come here now."
She speaks with a certain urgency that's far from her normal, playful tone. It's how Moon knows she's serious and she grabs up everything in her kit and goes to Hawk and Reader's house. Luckily she knows where the spare key is hidden and she gets inside. She finds Reader in her bedroom with the tiniest baby she's ever laid eyes on sucking on her tit. The room is a fucking mess, especially the bed sheets since they're covered in blood and other bodily fluid. Reader doesn't have anything to cut the umbilical cord with so she and the baby as still very much attached.
"Oh my god, how did you... oh my god." Moon can't contain her shock. She's only ever heard of cryptic pregnancies at this point in her career and she never imagined she'd encounter one.
Moon knows about Reader aversion to hospitals, so she doesn't even bring it up. She doesn't want to stress Reader out more than she probably already is stressed out. So she calmly comes over to sit beside Reader, gathers up the messy sheets, and throws them aside so they can at least get some clean sheets in there.
"Sometimes it's hard for first-time moms to get babies to latch on," she says, watching the tiny baby hungrily suckle on his mama's tit. "How'd you manage this?"
Reader kind of shrugs. "I don't know... when he started crying again, I just kinda knew he was hungry and did it."
Reader's voice is so soft and it's a different side of her that Moon hasn't seen before. She's still their gremlin of the group, she's sure, but Reader is so tired after the surprise labor that she really can't expect more of her. Still, Moon takes it as a sign that Reader is going to be a great mama despite not being ready for a baby whatsoever.
As Moon does everything she needs to - cut the umbilical cord, clean up Reader, check the baby - they talk about how this all happened. Reader explains how she had no idea about any of this, she never even had a suspicion. Then she tells her about how much it hurt, how scared she was, and how when she finally realized what had to be happening, she just had to do it. Moon tells her how proud of her she is for staying calm during the whole ordeal and how strong she is. Having a baby is a lot on the body and labor is intense, but she's done so well.
While she's checking the baby, he gets a little fussy when taken away from his mama. However, as soon as Moon starts talking to him, he calms down. He knows that sweet voice. This is one of his mama's friends.
Moon brought everything she could possibly need for the occasion and she's happy to report his good health. "He appears fully developed and perfectly healthy. Good job, mama."
She also brought a number of baby things for Reader, like a few clothes and a blanket, so she wraps him up to stay warm as soon as he's all checked out and cleaned up. Things calm down again and the pair talk about everything they can about having a new baby around. Then they hear the front door open and shut.
"Hey, babe! I'm home!"
It's Hawk. And it's at that moment Reader remembers how she never called or texted him about what was going on. She just took right to taking care of her baby boy and getting Moon over there.
Of whom, Moon jumps up and assures Reader she'll handle it. "I'll go tell him gently." Then she disappears and there's some light greetings to be heard.
Then Reader is pretty sure she hears Hawk faint.
Moon comes back in, grabs something from her bag, and exits again. She uses a smelling salt to bring Hawk back to reality and he jumps up.
"I could have sworn you said, with all the seriousness I've ever seen from you, that Reader had a baby."
"That's exactly what I said, Hawk."
She explains the situation to him before anything else happens.
When he brings her to the bedroom, he doesn't faint again. Instead, he goes straight to Reader's side as quickly and quietly as possible. "Jesus Christ, are you okay? Is the baby okay? I didn't even know you were pregnant- well I guess you didn't either based off of what Moon said, but still. Holy shit."
Reader states at him, then laughs. It's that chaotic laugh he fell in love with and he wonders what the fuck is so funny in a time like this, but also he's relieved because she's feeling well enough to laugh.
"We're fine, Eli... he's perfect."
She smiles and looks down at her baby boy in her arms. He stares up at them, taking in his pretty mama and handsome daddy. He's dressed in a green onesie Moon grabbed on her way out (I think she keeps all sorts of baby stuff to give to parents she works with in baskets she makes for them because she would so do that). It's a little big for him but it keeps him warm and that's what matters right now.
Hawk takes his little hand and holds it, staring at him with a still shocked but happy smile. "Hey there..."
While they're having their little moment, Moon starts filling out the birth certificate. She looks up ever so often to check on them, only to find Hawk holding Reader as they just admire their little one. It's so cute of them.
She stands up and brings the certificate over, showing it to them. She explains what they have to do and ends by saying, "You don't have to have a name for him now. Figure that out when you know."
"I think I know," Reader giggles, looking back down at her baby boy with a smile.
Hawk kisses the side of her head. "What's that?"
"Mason... Mason Elijah Moskowitz."

The Diaz triplets meeting the Moskowitz twins for the first time- oof 5 babies at one time I can only imagine
Tumblr media
They most likely meet as literal infants so they don't remember at all.
(I like to think that the Diaz and Moskowitz kids are only weeks apart, while the Keene girl and Alexopoulos boy are a few months apart from them.)
The Terror twins are born first then a few weeks later the Diaz triplets.
Both Hawk and his wife know now how stressful the first few weeks are after having their kids. They want to at least stop by to see them after having them. Both of their wives are still sore but they can't help but to want to see each other. Also want to see their babies in person. They both send each other pictures of the twins and triplets but that is nothing like actually getting to see them.
After a few months, they finally get the time and energy to meet up with their babies. Both families are so excited to see each other finally. Miguel and Hawk definitely want their kids to know each other and hopefully get along when they get older. Introducing them at a young age seems like the best idea. The idea of letting them try and make friends even as an infant sounds kike a good plan.
At that point, the baby can pick themselves up just a little bit. They can do tummy time with no issue.
When they all finally get together it is just adorable. The Twins are in awe when they catch sight of the triplets, the triplets are just as equal in amazement. Their parents set them right next to each other so they can start playing and meeting each other. For a few minutes, they just stare at each other. All five of them are just wide-eyed looking at one another. Their parents are almost laughing at their tiny expressions.
Then one of the twins is squealing and touching one of the Diaz girls. Then all of them join in starting to touch and “talk” to one another. It's just a whole pile of babies. All talking in their own little language to each other. It's just a bunch of babbling and lots of baby drool mixed with screams of excitement.
(I also really love the idea that the Twins love the triplets curls. Their hair is very thin but it still has a curl to it. All of them have tiny simi tight curls. The Twins have a tiny curl to the end of their hair but that's about it. They love playing with their hair because it's so soft and pretty to them. The triplets may or may not like it but they don't cry about it. Until one of the twins tries to chew it of course.😓)

I just picture Derek bringing Eli random things when he was a baby and Stiles finding them and going wtf?!
Stiles: Hey babe? Why is there an animal skull in Eli’s crib?
Stiles: Eli, where did you get that antler?
Stiles: *holds deer femur bone he found in Eli’s toy box staring in confusion*
Derek: *blushing and staring at his book he’s reading trying to not meet Stiles’ eyes cause he’s embarrassed*
Stiles: Wtf, Derek, stop bringing Eli body parts to play with!
Peter: *walks in holding something in his hand* Nephew, I found this raccoon skull this morning for little Eli.
Peter: *looks up seeing Derek and Stiles staring at him* Bad time?
Stiles: *throws his hands up and walks out of the room* Fucking werewolves!

I 100% believe (just know) that when Coach saw Stiles with Derek during parent-teacher conferences for Eli he just looks Stiles dead in the eyes like, “Bilinski? What the hell.... Who's parent are you?” before checking the schedule and just going, “yeahhhhh... This checks out.”

Based on an interview where Hugh Jackman’s son tells his friends he brings over that his dad isn’t anything like Wolverine.
Imagine other werewolf kids meeting Eli and they’re so impressed that Derek is his dad. Like “Your dad is THE DEREK HALE” and and Eli rolls his eyes like “my dads not cool, he’s not tuff, he’s actually a huge dork” and when he meets people from the FBI they ask him if Eli is impressed with Stiles and his work Eli is like “no. Why should I be? He makes me kill the spiders in the house. He can go on life threatening missions, but he still gets scared watching horror movie, yeah big hero you got there.” and Eli goes around calling stiles boss big brother and he gets so annoying, but he’s not gonna have beef with a 15 year old kid. And everyone just tell stiles, “your son is kind of scary” and stiles laughs and says he’s a teenager.
"You dads have taken down several crime rings, mass murderers, and saved countless lives, and you're not impressed?"
"They fight over which Star Wars movie to watch on Friday nights, so... no."

Imagine Eli's wife goes into labor early in the morning on Christmas and he rushes her to the hospital. A few hours later, they have two beautiful babies sleeping in their arms.
The only downside is that all of the hospital staff keep telling him how merry their Christmases are gonna be from now and Eli has to keep telling them that he's Jewish, the 25th is literally just his kids' birthday to him.
Watching him deadpan when someone tells him Merry Christmas gets a giggle out of his wife while she's laying in bed. He can suffer through all the holiday joy if it means she's amused.

The Jeep
Eli’s sixteen and Stiles wants to give him the Jeep, Derek might need some persuading.
[AO3]
Tumblr media
“I’m just saying—” Stiles said, sitting back against the velvet covered bedhead. “He’s sixteen now, he’s got his licence, he’s going to need a car.”
“Then we’ll get him a car,” Derek replied from the ensuite.
“Why not just give him the Jeep?” Stiles pressed.
Derek peered his head around the corner of the doorframe. “Because that thing is held together by duct tape and prayers.”
“Then we’ll get it fixed up,” Stiles suggested.
“Or we just get him a new car,” Derek countered, stepping out of the ensuite. He turned the light off behind him and climbed into bed beside Stiles. “One with better safety ratings, GPS, Bluetooth, and all that. A car that’s not going to break down or fall to pieces every time he reverses out of the driveway.”
“A car that crumples like a paper ball at the smallest dent? I mean, I hit Jackson with that Jeep and it barely made a dent.”
Derek huffed out a breath, struggling to smother his laughter and trying to keep a serious face.
“We’ve been through a lot, and – for better or worse – that Jeep has survived everything we have,” Stiles continued. “It may not have Bluetooth or GPS, but it still works after all these years.”
Derek sighed.
He had to admit: Stiles had a point. That Jeep, despite all the damage and duct tape, had held together over decades.
But there was something else; something Stiles wasn’t saying.
Derek leant back against the pillows, turning his head to look at Stiles.
“And…?” he prompted.
“It’s going to sound stupid,” Stiles started slowly, “but it was my mum’s car. My dad gave it to me as a way of holding onto her. I always felt like… it felt like she was watching over me. And as silly as it sounds, the thought that she’d be watching over Eli gives me some comfort.”
Derek reached over and took Stiles’ hand in his. He laced their fingers together and gave Stiles’ hand a gentle squeeze.
Stiles blinked back the glistening tears that welled in his eyes.
Derek brushed the ball of his thumb over the back of Stiles’ hand.
“Okay,” he relented. “You can give him the Jeep.”
Stiles straightened, looking at Derek with a mix of shock and joy.
“On one condition,” Derek added quickly. “We get a complete refit: new engine, brakes, airbags, full service—all of it. And we’re taking the police scanner out.”
“You can replace it with one of those fancy radios with Bluetooth and GPS,” Stiles offered, leaning his head against Derek’s shoulder.
A small smile turned up the corners of Derek’s lips.
“Deal,” he whispered, turning his head and pressing a soft kiss to the crown of Stiles’ head.
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Eli?” Derek called out from where he stood by the front door.
He heard the footsteps on the wooden floorboards as Eli emerged from his room. “Yeah?”
“You got a minute?” Derek asked.
“Am I in trouble?” he asked as he made his way down the stairs and over to his dad’s side.
“Should you be?” Derek asked as he held the front door open, letting his son step out onto the front porch where Stiles stood waiting for them.
He paused for a moment, his eyes darting about as he searched his memories for anything he might have done that would get him in trouble.
“No,” he answered, but there was an upward infliction at the end of the word that made it sound like a question rather than a statement.
“You’re not in trouble,” Stiles reassured him.
“So, what’s up?” Eli asked.
“Well,” Stiles started. “You’re sixteen now and you have your license, and since your dad and I need the cars all the time—”
“And since you’ve proven you can be responsible and trustworthy,” Derek added.
“—we’re giving you a car.”
Eli’s eyes opened wide, his jaw hanging open. “Seriously?”
Derek nodded.
Stiles dug into his pocket and pulled out the key, holding it out in front of him for Eli to take.
Eli recognised the key.
He stared at it in stunned silence.
When he found his voice again, his words were barely a whisper.
“The Jeep?” His voice broke around the word, his eyes glistening with tears of joy as he looked from the key to his dads’ faces. “You’re giving me the Jeep?”
“It’s all yours,” Stiles told him.
Eli reached out and look the key from his dad.
“It’s been fully serviced,” Derek told him. “It has a new engine and everything.”
Eli glanced over his shoulder at the dusty-blue Jeep. “Can I…?”
Stiles nodded.
He leapt off the porch and bounded over to the Jeep, pulling open the driver’s side door and sliding into the seat. He didn’t turn it on; he just sat in the driver’s seat, bouncing up and down slightly with uncontainable happiness. He couldn’t help but laugh with excitement as he let his hands grip the soft, worn leather of the steering wheel.
Stiles and Derek stepped over to the car.
Eli bolted upright, his eyes widening as he remembered something.
“Does it still have the—?” His words died off as he answered his own question: he pulled down the sun visor to see the photo of Stiles wrapped in Claudia’s arms. He was four – maybe five – years old in the photo, the sun shining on their faces as they both looked at the camera, caught half way between smiling and laughing. He carefully pulled the photo out from where it was held in place by elastic, holding it in his hands as he looked at it fondly.
He sniffed and blinked back tears, trying to hide his face from his parents as he turned to hand the photo to Stiles.
Stiles shook his head, gently pushing Eli’s hand back. “That’s for you.”
Eli looked at him, his brow furrowed slightly with confusion.
“She’s always watching over you,” Stiles said quietly.
Eli didn’t say anything. Tears fell from Eli’s eyes, trailing down his cheeks as he looked down at the photo again. He offered his dad a shaky smile as he slotted the photo back into its place. He looked at his grandmother’s face one more time before carefully and lovingly putting the sun visor back up.
He wiped away his tears with the sleeve of his jacket. “Thanks, Dad.”
Stiles offered him a kind smile.
“There’s an emergency kit in the back,” Derek told him. “First aid kit, blanket, bottled water, snacks, a change of clothes, and a few other things. And, most importantly…” He stepped around the hood of the Jeep and opened the passenger side door. He reached into the glove box, pulled something out, and held it up.
The moment Eli and Stiles saw it, they both burst into laughter.
A brand new roll of duct tape.
