One Step At A Time
Ibn ʿAbbās narrated that Muʿāḏ (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Yemen and said (to me before I went): عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - رضي الله عنهما - أَنَّ مُعَاذًا قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فقَالَ “Indeed you are going to Ahl al-Kitāb (ie: a people from the People of the Book), إِنَّكَ تَأْتِي قَوْمًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ therefore, call them to testify that none has the right to be worshiped except Allah and I am the Messenger of Allah. If they obey you in that, inform them that Allah has obligated upon five daily prayers. If they obey you in that, inform them that Allah has obligated upon them charity to be taken from their rich folk and given to their poor folk. If they obey you in that, beware of (taking) the best of their wealth and fear the supplication of al-madhlūm (ie: the oppressed). Indeed there is no ḥijāb (ie: barrier) between it and Allah.”

Speak To The People On Their Level
[In this narration] there is evidence that ambiguous knowledge should not be mentioned among the general public. And an example of this is (found in) the saying of Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him): “Whatever you tell a people (anything) that their intellect do not understand, will become a fitnah for some of them.” The Ruling on Marrying a Second Wife Without Informing the First Wife – Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan
Questioner: What is the ruling on marrying secretly without the first wife knowing?
Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān: She has no connection [authority]. The [first] wife has no authority to prevent her husband [from marrying] or to make it a condition upon him that she is told [about a second marriage]. She should not make such a condition. The important factor [in polygyny] is justice. The husband is obliged to treat [all] his wives equally, whether the first wife knows [about the second] or not.

🌺 𝟰 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀
🌿 (1) Don't prioritise buying new clothes / hijaab / jewelleries for Eid over paying off our debts. Remember, the clothes and accessories are worn only in dunya, while debts remain with us until akhirah.
🌿 (2) Allah says: ❛And whoever desires the Hereafter, and strives for it with the necessary effort due for it, while he is a believer, then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated.❜ 【Surah al-Isra 17:19】
Allah is Ash-Shakoor. Our striving for the betterment of our akhirah is appreciated by Allah, and He will reward it. So as much as possible, hide our good deeds just like how we hide our sins from people. People’s praises have no bearing whatsoever on our akhirah, rather only Allah’s appreciation and reward do.
🌿 (3) Very important: ❛Salaah is the 2nd pillar of Islam whilst fasting is the 4th. Don't neglect the 2nd pillar whilst fulfilling the 4th. [Imam] Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali [rahimahullah] describes the pillars of Islam as being like the pillars upon which a building is built, if you knock down one of the pillars the whole building collapses.❜ — Written by Bid'ah Busters Dawah Salafiyyah Online
🌿 (4) Rasulullah salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: ❛The one who eats and is grateful is like the status of the patient fasting person.❜ 【At-Tirmidhi 2486 | Graded Fair】
We’re constantly in a state of worship when we fast — there is a reward for our sabr whilst fasting, and there is a reward for our shukr when we break our fast. How Merciful is our Rabb! May Allah accept all of our ibaadat.

Guidelines on How To Call The People to Islam
Ibn ʿAbbās reported that the Messenger ﷺ sent Muʿāḏ (may Allah be pleased with them both) to Yemen and said (to him): ابْن عَبَّاس، أن النَّبِىّ، عليه السَّلام، بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ، فقَالَ لَهُ: “You are about to leave to a people of Ahl al-Kitāb (ie: The People of the Book). So let the first thing you call them to be the an yuwaḥḥidu Allah (ie: that they single Allah the Exalted in worship). If they do this, then inform them that Allah obligated upon them five prayers in their day and night. If they pray, inform them that Allah obligate upon them to give the Zakāt of their wealth: That it be taken from their rich, and given to their poor. If they comply with this, then take (their Zakāt) from them, but avoid taking the best wealth of the people.” Be Patient
It is necessary to engage in daʿwah with ḥikmah (ie: wisdom) and good counsel, فلا بد من دعوة بحكمة وموعظة حسنة، and to know whom you are addressing. You are addressing your Muslim brother, whose property, blood, and honor are inviolable. If he does not accept from you today, he may accept from you tomorrow or the day after. Muqbil b. Why Choose Salafiyah ?
- by Shaik al-Albanee
Question:
Why use the name Salafee? Is it a call towards a party or a group or a madh-hab (school of thought)? Or is it a new sect in Islaam ?
Answer:
Indeed, the word Salaf is well known in the Arabic language as well as in the religious terminology. But what concerns us here, is its discussion from the religious standpoint. Thus, it has authentically been reported on the Prophet, sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, that during the sickness from which he died from, he said to Faatimah, radyAllaahu ‘anhaa: “…So fear Allaah and have patience. And I am the best Salaf (predecessor) for you.” 20
Furthermore, the scholars have used this word “Salaf” many times, such that it would be too abundant to number and take into account. Sufficient for us, is one example, and it was that which they have used in their battle against innovations: “And every good lies in following he who has preceded (man salaf) while every evil lies in the innovating of he who came after (man khalaf).”
However, there are from those who claim to have knowledge, some people who reject this ascription, claiming that there is no basis for it! And so they say: “It is not permissible for a Muslim to say: ‘I am Salafee.’” So it is as if he is saying that it is not permissible for a Muslim to say: “I am following the Salaf As-Saalih (the Pious Predecessors) in what they were upon from beliefs, worship and methodology”! There is no doubt that such a rejection – if that is what he intended – necessitates that one free himself from the correct Islaam, which the righteous predecessors were upon, at the head of whom was the Prophet, sallAllaahu ‘ alayhi wa sallam. This is as is indicated in the mutawaatir hadeeth found in the two Saheehs and other than them, that he, sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “The best of mankind is my generation, then those that come after them, then those that come after them.”
So it is not permissible for a Muslim to absolve himself from this ascription to the righteous predecessors, whereas, if he were to absolve himself from any other ascription, the scholars would not be able to ascribe him with disbelief or sinfulness ...
