Welcome to this challenge, babygirls and babyboys 🗣️🗣️🗣️
So are you ready to manifest everything you desired in April? Then start up rn!
I'll show you 5 important, simple steps you can use to manifest your dream life!
This challenge will be done for 30 days throughout April. At the end of this month, the results are guaranteed!
You might be wondering if its gonna be hard... Buuuut! The steps are super duper simple, just follow them!
THE STEPS:
🤍 MENTAL DIET 🤍
Y'all heard it right, maintain a strict mental diet, like literally stop wavering! Stop focusing on things you don't want! Don't accept things you don't want! It's that simple. Only focus on positive and favourable thoughts.
Your mornings should go like, 'uhh it's such a beautiful day. It's gonna be amazing day as always. But it's gonna be fun today! I literally love this life, it's freaking amazing, I literally don't know how to thank myself for this. The fact that I'm the ultimate creator is soo mind blowing for me even though I've always been for my entire life. I'm literally thankful for everything! My life's being too perfect and I get what I want everytime, everything's in my favour always. I literally look soo amazing in every outfit I wear, it's such a slay everyday. Uhh I'm soo lucky to have what I want. Literally my self concept is supreme' and blah blah blah. You can add whatever you want further lol.
So like literally throughout the day steady yourself in this mindset. If you catch yourself wavering, be like *sike there ain't no chance bitch* come back on track! Catch yourself waver ---> stop ---> drop ---> flip it into something positive or favourable.
Literally robotic affirming is the only way you can keep your thoughts in check. So go bestie! Keep your head high, keep a check on those thoughts inside your pretty/handsome head 😩 keep slaying everyday ✨

I designed this challenge with beginners in mind. Those who are just starting out on their journey with Aphrodite and who may need or want a bit of guidance learning about and connecting with our beloved Goddess. However, anyone is welcome to participate if they feel called to!

narcos october prompts
The Narcos Fandom Forever discord server is introducing a month-long challenge, the Narcos October Prompts, which is open to fan creators for both the OG Narcos and Narcos MX TV shows.
Creators of all kinds are encouraged to make all types of fanworks! Fic, art, gifs, vids, and other miscellaneous fanworks are all welcome.
Each fanwork must be published on the day that corresponds to the prompt. There are two prompts for each day of the month, and you can choose which you prefer.
For example, you can post a fanwork inspired by the Day 7 prompt “Blackout” on October 7. If you create something late, you can publish it on the amnesty day, which is October 30.
Please use the hashtag #narcoctober to submit your entries, so we can find them and reblog them!

October 1 — Day of Firsts
Create a fanwork about a canon character you’ve never written about/used before.
Create a fanwork of an alternate universe you’ve never tried to create before.
October 2 — “Porque No Los Dos?” Day
Create a crossover for the original Narcos show and the Narcos: Mexico show, featuring at least one character for each.
Anything involving polyamory, ex: a fic about somebody who has two or more partners (with their partners’ knowledge and consent, aka not infidelity. That’s a different prompt).
October 3 — Day of Music
Create and post a playlist for fic/wip of yours OR your favorite episode and explain why each song resonates for that fic/wip or episode.
Put your favorite playlist on shuffle and whatever song comes up first, that’s your prompt.

October 4 — Day of Conflict
Anything involving a fistfight or a gunfight.
Quote prompt: “What the fuck is wrong with you?”
October 5 — Day of Visual Art
Visual fanworks: post a screenshot, meme, gif, gifset, video, or other non-fic visual fanwork.
Create a fanwork about a character interacting with a piece of art (e.g. buying decoration for a new home, stealing a piece, hitting on a stranger at a gallery, creating art themselves, etc)
October 6 — Day of International Relations
Write non-English language fic.
Use a random country picker and utilize that country in your work in some way: a character is from that country, a food from that country shows up, there’s international politics, etc. You get two rerolls if you don’t like the first or second country you get. If you get the United States, reroll automatically.
October 7 — Day of Darkness
Make something centered around non-death dark topics (we have a specific death day already). Morally or emotionally dark topics/themes.
One-word prompt: Blackout.
October 8 — Day of Light
A day of pure fluff: anything insanely, unambiguously, self-indulgently, luxuriously enjoyable.
One-word prompt: Sunrise.
October 9 — Day of Gay
Create anything devoted to an LGBTQ+ character. This can be your headcanon, but if you want a canon gay character, Pacho and his boyfriends are canonically gay. Also, one of Pacho’s biker lady criminals is played by a trans actress.
Create anything with a queer and/or trans original character or reader insert.
October 10 — Day of Tough Shit
Write a fic whose exact wordcount is divisible by 500 (500, 1000, 1500, etc).
Make a fanwork in a medium you’ve never used before. If you make GIFs, write something. If you write, draw. Etc. As long as it’s uncharted territory for you!
October 11 — Day of Fun
Create a non-visual, non-fic fanwork: quiz, game, playlist, incorrect quotes.
Create a fanwork with at least one joke in it (that YOU think is funny, fuck everyone else if they don’t think it’s funny lmao).
October 12 — Day of Death
Kill a character who lives in canon.
Create something with a character who is mourning a dying thing rather than a person (their dying relationship, their dying career, their dying city, their dying memories, their dying friendship, their dying dreams, etc etc etc)
October 13 — Day of Life
Create a fanwork in which a character avoids their canonical death.
Create a fanwork about characters having kids (sex to have kids, pregnancy, the birth itself, the kids growing up) or choosing not to have kids. It's a free country (it’s sorta a free country) (it’s sorta kinda a free country) (depends on which country we’re talking about i suppose)
October 14 — Day of Support
Create a review, response, or analysis of a Narcos or Narcos Mexico fic, in the style of an Amazon review or a NYT book review or something like that. Please keep it constructive and positive, no roasts.
Quote prompt: “I got you.”
October 15 — Day of Absolute Filth
Create a smut fanwork that includes three different kinks and/or sex acts (basically you could tag it with at least three tags that are Pure Filth).
Create a fanwork about a character’s moral corruption.
October 16 — Day of Surprises
These prompts were revealed at the start of the day.
Create a fanwork that focuses on dreams, either literal or metaphorical.

October 17 — Day of Rare Treasures
Create a fanwork about a character that only shows up in one (1) season of the show. the rarer the better honestly

October 18 — Day of History
Create a fanwork about characters experiencing, participating in, or witnessing a real life historical event (could have been depicted in canon or not) e.g. moon landing.

October 19 — Day of Hurt
Create a fanwork about a character so emotionally or physically hurt that they can’t help but start crying even though they don’t want to.
Make a spitework (that is, a fanwork addressing something in canon that pissed you off, whether it was a character or a plot point).
October 20 — Day of Comfort
Create a fanwork about a character getting exactly what they need from someone unexpected.
Create a fanwork inspired by your #1 narcos comfort episode (not necessarily “the best” but rather the episode you rewatch the most often because you love it so much).
October 21 — Day of Women Who Will Step On You For Free
Create a f/f-centric fanwork.
Create a fanwork focused on the character development of a woman from the show.
October 22 — Day of Cross-Fandom Pollination
Create a fanwork that includes at least one Narcos character and at least one character from another fandom.
Create a fanwork with the plot or setting stolen from another fandom (and cite which fandom it is). For example, a daisy jones and the six fic where món is a 60s singer.

nick got to write a lot of his lines in re4r (this kind of tracks that some of the lines may have been different from what was originally written in the script, but he implies that the lines he was allowed to write were more of the one liners)
two of his favourite lines were (that he wrote), “you wanna get ugly, let’s get ugly,” and “tell someone who gives a shit.”
he was in japan recently for 8 days (just for fun)
he does a lot of travelling for fixers tv (to help with villages or towns, there are 30 episodes or so)
he(Nick) was not approached to reprise the role of Leon for Death Island (he thinks it makes sense to get Matt Mercer for Death Island since it’s a sequel to Vendetta and Matt played the role then)

he is trying to get into a convention in ireland (but it is not confirmed)

30 Day Thinspo Challenge All In One Because I’m Bored And Trying To Prevent Cravings
1. 175cm tall, 54kg, BMI is 17.8
2. 5’9. I like this height, but I wish I were a little taller.
3. Kate Moss. Any explanation needed?
4. What everyone will say. And how much it will fuck up my metabolism permanently.
5. I have been stuck like this for YEARS, I want to be skinny so bad. And yes, I am doing it for me
6. No, not really. If I ever get really bad cravings, I just chew a heap of food up and spit it out (disgusting, I know, it’s so bad 😭)
7. Yes. I think mum suspects something’s wrong, but dad doesn’t care. Or if he does, he hasn’t mentioned it.
8. 2 minute side plank, 25 left lifts per leg, 50 side-lying left lifts per leg, 25 hip thrusts, 25 Russian twists with a weight, 50 butt-kicks and mb 20 or so squats if I’m up to it. I’m not very fit, I mostly just do walking.
9. I’ve had someone point out after a lost a bit that I was doing it for attention, though that didn’t actually make me feel all that bad.
10. Pizza. And crisps. And chips.
11. Don’t think I have one, tbh. I just scroll on Pinterest or twitter until I come by one I like the look of.
12. A lot of apples, and eggs. Lots of safe-foods, too, which I think definitely sets me back a bit.

14. At LEAST 48 kg. Just until I don’t have to see a psychologist for ADHD meds, because she has to weigh me and if my weight gets too low, she’ll tell my mum.
15. No. I don’t eat a lot of meat in general, but I haven’t cut it out. I rlly like a good few other animal products, so I don’t think I’d ever get away with a vegan label.

27. Depends on whether or not I’m with friends. If I see my friends eating, then I’ll want to eat, but if they’re lot with me, I’ll either try to ignore it or (again) chew it then spit it out.

29. Don’t have one. I actually think all sizes are lovely, just not on me, but everyone says that so what does it matter.
30. 10 facts:
1) I was born a girl but I don’t think I am one, which is mostly the reason why I’m doing this.
2) My ribs poke out quite clearly but I’m fairly sure that’s because I’ve got a wide ribcage 😭.
3) Skins is one of my favourite TV shows.
4) My safe-foods are garlic bread, chocolate, carbonara, peanut butter, and Nutella - once again, it’s so bad.
5) This is probably the deepest I’ve ever been in an ED, and I’ve been doing this for years now, so it’s getting serious.
6) I take ADHD medication that reduces my appetite, and I’ve only recently started them, which I’m guessing it why my weight has been dropping more than usual. HOORAY
Can’t think of any more facts, I’m not that deep.

Stuff I'm Looking Forward To in April
Welcome to the 2nd quarter of 2024! In addition to April Fools Day (April 1), Eid al-Fitr (April 9-10), Patriots Day / Marathon Monday (April 15 in MA), Tax Day (April 15), Earth Day (April 22), Passover (April 22-30), Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day (April 24) and there's also a solar eclipse on April 8, here is what's on my radar this month:
Movies:
Coup de Chance
Not sure if I'm "looking forward to this", but I'm curious about Woody Allen's new one as he has hinted this would be his last. Whatever your opinion is of Woody Allen, as a filmmaker he has made some solid films. Opens 4/5.
Civil War
Alex Garland has had a mixed bag as a writer/director with Ex Machina being his best so far. His new one has been creating quite a buzz about a dystopian not-so-far future where journalists try to make it to D.C. before rebels descend on the White House. No coincidence this is being released during an election year. Opens 4/12 (review to come).
Challengers
What got my attention about this tennis drama wasn't star Zendaya, director Luca Guadagnino or the score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. It's the fact that it was filmed in Massachusetts and more specifically it filmed a little in Bedford, where I grew up. Opens 4/26 (review to come).
Music:
Pearl Jam Dark Matter
Pearl Jam's 12th studio album is finally year. The band's last album was 2020's Gigaton, which I noted was their best album since their 2006 self-titled album. I'm digging what I've heard so far and hopes are high for this one! Album drops 4/19. (Review to come).
Bruce Springsteen Best of Bruce Springsteen
The Boss has released a number of compilations over the years, his 1995 Greatest Hits being among my favorites. Now there's a new compilation with 18 hits ranging from 1973 to 2020. Album drops 4/19 (review to come).
St. Vincent All Born Screaming
St. Vincent is back with her 7th studio album. This one features appearances by numerous guests including Dave Grohl and Josh Freese of Foo Fighters. Album drops 4/26.
TV:
Curb Your Enthusiasm finale
I've been enjoying Season 12 of Larry David's social assassin. This is the final season (or so they say) and the season/series finale is set to air on HBO on 4/7. End of an era!
Conan O'Brien Must Go
I'm a huge fan of Conan O'Brien, going back to Late Night with Conan O'Brien (read my memories of attending his show here) and since then he's bounced back from the Tonight Show debacle with a great run on TBS and his fun podcast. Now he's back with a travel show meeting fans all over the world! Series premiere on 4/18 on Max!

Record Store Day
The day we celebrate independently owned and operated record stores is one of my favorite holidays of the year! It's on 4/20 this year!
Independent Bookstore Day
Not to be outdone, independent bookstores get their day of celebration on 4/27.

Salem Horror Fest
I have been lucky enough to cover this genre film festival in Salem, MA since 2018. This year they are hitting some venues beyond Salem as well. Fest runs from 4/25 to 5/5!

HOW MUCH I TRAIN EVERY WEEK? (Honestly).
Let me preface this with a fair warning that I’m a bit of a psycho when it comes to training… For me it’s gone past the point of fitness at this point. It’s about challenging myself and keeping something consistent in my life within a world full of inconsistency.
It’s a space to think, to process, to plan and to humble.
So in answer to how much I train every week, the reality is every day. 7 days a week. Sometimes twice a day. I don’t plan rest days… I only plan for some days to be less intense than others.
For example if I’ve had a double training session on Monday, then Tuesday I might do a long swim and then stretch on Tuesday.

A normal day if I’m not shooting a film or TV show is:
Morning - Wake up at 8am.
Run/Cycle/Swim for 1 hour.
Then Pilates or Core work on an app for 10-20 minutes.
Then stretch for 10-30 minutes.
Then I WRITE for 6-8 hours...
Evening (Not every day).
Martial arts for (1 to 2 hours). Taekwondo, pad work with my friends, Kickboxing or Jiujitsu.

A normal day if I am filming something:
Wake up 4am.
Bike/Run/Swim 45 minutes at 4:30am.
In the car, ready for work by 5:45am.
Then at work, I’ll find breaks in the day to get in 10/20 minutes of stretching and 10/20 minutes of pilates.
Then in the evening I’ll go for a nice walk and stretch.
In bed by 8/9pm most days.
My routine varies a lot depending on where I am in the world, what I’m training for, how much time I have and what I have access to, but generally the rule I have is MOVE to start the day and MOVE again to end the day.
The things that are consistent throughout the year are Running, Swiming and Kickboxing/Taekwondo and stretching.
The things that vary depending on access are: Cycling, Hiking, Surfing, Climbing, Jiujitsu, Yin Yoga, etc…
If there’s one thing I want you to take away from my opening gambit, it’s JUST MOVE(: & it’s not that deep - so don’t dread it, just do it. Don’t build it up to be some big thing in your head.

Day 8, the power of music
30 days writing challenge
Kekuatan musik itu luar biasa, bisa membangkitkan kenangan-kenangan, bikin mood naik, lagi sedih atau patah hati bisa banget tuh sambil dengerin musik. Sambil kerja, bikin tugas, olahraga, dalam perjalanan atau bahkan untuk nemenin tidur biasanya lebih cocok sambil nyetel musik ya kan? Kaya udah jadi hiburan wajib aja gitu, apalagi musik yang kita sukai bisa banget sambil karaokean berasa suara kaya diva!
Musik beneran bisa membangkitkan kenangan-kenangan. Saat inget kejadian itu, teringat lagu itu.. Berbicara tentang musik, di umurku skrg aku sudah tidak mengikuti update musik terkini, mau yg lokal maupun internasional. Playlist musik ku terhenti di tahun 2013 an kayanya. Sisanya dari musik 90s 2000s, itu terus ngga bosen-bosen sih kayanya musik di tahun2 tersebut tuh abadi aja gitu, atau emang balik lagi ke selera musik ku ya seputaran itu haha. Selera musik ku udah terbentuk dari SD, tumbuh bareng dgn acara musik kaya MTV, Delta, BMI (i know am old, right? Wkwk). Tapi tetep juga lagu anak-anak ngikutin dong, yang hype pada jamannya juga kaset dan cd pun beli.
Waktu SMP dibeliin walkman sama bapak, jadi semangat kan tuh nabung buat beli kaset haha. Oiya saat itu jg musim bikin mixtape gitu kaset bajakan lah ya bisa dibilang, side A playlistnya ini, side B beda lagi haha seru! Dunia radio pun lagi hype2nya waktu itu, pengen dengerin lagu kesukaan harus bgt dengerin radio, kebetulan di walkman ku ada fitur radio digitalnya jg, berasa keren yak dulu wkwkwk.
Namanya remaja yah bnyk pengen taunya, penasaran.. Ngga cukup dengerin lagu dari tv, radio, walkman. Pengen juga dong liat live nya, liat manggungnya! Pertama kali ke acara festival kelas 3 SMP.. Belom ngerti pensi2an. Wah, rasanya amazing aja gitu berasa getaran excited di seluruh tubuh. Se berpengaruh itu memang musik di kehidupanku! Lanjut SMA udah beda medianya di komputer pake Winamp haha.. Sumbernya tentu dr mp3 bajakan wkwk. Media dengarnya berubah jg, mp3/mp4 player kaya usb gitu lah, discman sama ipod juga musim. SMA mulai deh ngikutin pensi. Kuliah masih sama media dll nya, tapi pengetahuan musikku semakin bertambah banyak! Kalo liat di grafik mah melesat gitu.. Nemenin bikin tugas kuliah, berselancar mulai bermedsos asik bgt depan komputer berlama2, nemenin bikin skripsi. Nonton live musiknya lebih seneng lagi, band indie lokal lagi suka bgt waktu itu.. Dan utk pertama kalinya dalam hidup thn 2010 aku nonton konser tunggal band internasional kebetulan bgt ada di bdg, Copeland! Htm nya dulu 175rb, murah bgt bukan haha. Gara2 itu, ketagihan lahhhh.. 2011 mulai nyari2 festival, konser tunggal di jkt. Bulan maret 2011, Suede, ini dapet gratisan karena ikut kuis haha rejeki! Juli 2011, day 2 di Java Rockin Land, The Cranberries! Januari 2013 Weezer, konser tunggal. Maret 2013, Java Jazz Fest, Wouter Hamel dll. Juli 2013, Blur.. Konser terbaik sepanjang hidup! 2014 entah sept/okt, Yuna ini acara festival juga! Kayanya itu terakhir live show di jkt sblm aku hiatus haha..
2015-2017 pacaran lalu menikah konsen sudah lain, fokus sama keluarga udah ngga ada hasrat buat update musik, playlist mentok aja yg dulu. Januari 2018 setelah 4 thn lamanya, memutuskan utk mulai lg perkonseran di jkt udah beli tiket The XX, batal karena ternyata aku lagi hamil muda hihi alhamdulillah.. Setelah lahir anakku, musikku isinya nursery rhymes, pink fong, cocomelon.. Dan lagu anak2 lainnya. Skrg dengerinnya dari youtube, Spotify. Nyambi kerjaan domestik dirumah. Jarang juga dengerin musik hehehe.
Ngga kepikiran lg nonton gigs, fest apapun itu. Ada pandemi, faktor u, punya anak jg agak susah kaya dulu. Padahal dulu bisa dikatakan hobi ngga sih wkwk. Music is really boosting my power.. Azeekk ngga tuh! Etapi tahun kmaren 2022, umur anak udah 4 thn udah gede kalo ditinggal bentar. Bulan September aku iseng beli 2 tiket fest musik day 1 lokalan aja dulu. Band indie kesukaan jaman dulu. Ditemenin sama suamiku @sagarmatha13 akhirnya kengidamanku terbayarkan sudah, kami pergi udah kaya anak abg kencan nonton konser yekan. Joget2, jingkrak2, teriak2 sing along beneran lupa sama umur! Seneng pake banget! Terimakasih sayangkuuu, hayu aku mau lagi pleaseeee
