Will we need to start a new save for this mod? Or for the adoptable Joltik mod?

Adoptable Joltik can be added in at anytime. As for Subway to Stardew, it also can be added at any time. We're working on editing where their house spawns and instead giving them a mini-map to station themselves in for better compatibility (also just having their home station be less ugly).

Previously, we just plopped their house where some trees used to be but well... You would need to use the Reset Terrain Features mod for clean-up.

As for content, it assumes that you're starting a new save so they send letters announcing their arrival on Summer 3rd (when the Railroad opens). Ingo's letter arrives on Spring 1 (mostly just to check if things are working since nothing regarding submas happens for an entire season).

Emmet's arrives on Summer 2nd (and he's a little bitter about how unreliable the Ferngill postal service is as a result).

They're also quite cold to you during the winter as their 0-heart lines are written under the assumption that you ignored them for at least two seasons (and didn't just skip to year 2 like how I usually do when testing...).

As Caretaker helped Whumpee pack their bags, Caretaker couldn't help but feel guilty for feeling happy about Whumpee's leaving. They knew it was wrong, but they couldn't help it.

"Thank you so much for everything, Caretaker," said Whumpee as they hugged Caretaker goodbye. "You're welcome, Whumpee. Take care," said Caretaker as they watched Whumpee leave.

As soon as Whumpee was gone, Caretaker let out a sigh of relief. They walked around the house, feeling like a kid in a candy store. They turned on the TV and watched their favorite shows, ate junk food, and even danced around the living room.

They had been waiting for this day for months. They had planned everything out in their head - the moment Whumpee left, they would have the house to themself. They could do whatever they wanted without worrying about anyone else.

I heard a loooot about the famed "saloon cutscene" where you meet all your lovers that didn't want to share you... woooould Ingo & Emmet be a part of that if the conditions are met??

We didn't insert them into the event themselves for better compatibility with other mods that change it, also they just wouldn't be there. We did, however, write the breakup dialogue for it! It was like... the third ever dialogue lines we tackled outside of gift tastes (right behind flower dance rejection and introduction... what a choice).

We wanted to avoid any mentions or acknowledgement of two-timing because realistically, they would get upset and cut you off forever. I can't make them break up and lock their friendship increases away outside of that event... If I could, Emmet would have done that over every slightest thing because I love being dramatic with his friendship decreases. The twins don't like sharing. Not even with each other. This is the only time they mention the farmer dating both of them... Not quite "canon", but it's there.

As for how it fits in-game: It's a small town and they'd eventually pick up on the local scandal. The hard part was coming up with how they'd give you a second chance after that ^^; Anyways, here are the lines! (Under the read-more!)

"Whumpee." Whumper's voice was absolutely suffocating, and Whumpee wanted to kill them now.

A cell door opened. Dark and smelled wet. "This is where you live now."

There was only a moldy dirty mattress and a bucket, no other humans and clean water. Whumpee sat there, looking at the small open window showing the rain that was getting harder and harder.

Rising to the Edge of Existence

It is finally time, preparations are made and all doubts are shoved in their pockets.

To think I had not finished Eureka by then... Nemi definitely agreed with this

Then above, Meteion's appearance in the ship sent chills up her spine, but she sincerely said "Found you. Please, won't you let us land and talk?" It was her continued threat of blissful death that made Thancred ambush, and disappear with his last message to survive.

The utter loss of hope devastated Nemi. It almsot reminded Nemi of the refugees of Lost Hope, but even they with less power endured until better times happened. But, could a ghost of grief be convinced?

Explaining how to save a child from ego death

I first didn't understand this at first, but I guess this is saying "now you get to see me be the one at risk and wait for it, just like you made me wait" huh?? That is, some debt.

I know it's probably because of spacing, but that Y'sthola went to confront the immamentizing with Urianger as support is an interesting beat... She would never be defeated but she wanted to aid in holding up the existence of this world... But what if one more sacrifice had been needed later? Did she see the aether to be sufficient?

Ea, disturbing fellas. That they were so sure that Y'sthola would get depressed than say "well, that isn't near my present so why should I overworry about it" like a normal person is so fucking funny.

Oh you could only think of that after the destruction eh? it's almost as if there was a strong corroding bias to your logic and you didn't really analyze and think of all factors because you only prioritized stupid destruction.

It's hilarious that he remembers this, but that even that story perdured and he remembered so much details... It's sweet, specially with him having sympathy for Omega too from just reading their story.

I think G'raha would laugh at this morbid joke and they would hug each other, with Nemi reaffirming he deserves to be here... But he doesn't need that anymore.

And with his dissapearance and a crystal path unfurled, Nemi could only crumble to her knees and control her breathing. This was too much like Mt Gulg, but there was no rage or sadness: only hurt in fear of Y'sthola's reassurances being wrong, and everyone being truly lost right when they resoluted to finally rest. And G'raha, oh dear G'raha had finally settled to live after a century of resignation. Would Meteion flick in disgust at this feeling.

Hopefully something, everyone's wills would reach her from the fact they sre the air, the breath and the life of anyone who knows them. For what else are people but parts of life?
