Honestly, it totally would. After the disastrous drinks (which were supposed to be an apology for the broken nose, but involved two spilled drinks, a broken glass, and Nate managing to shut Mick’s hand in a car door), Nate invites Mick over to his apartment.

It’s not like he can mess up there, right? Wrong. Nate forgets that the only person other than Nate himself that his two ferrets have ever liked was Amaya. Zari even calls the ferrets ‘Nate’s little monsters.’ Unsurprisingly, Mick ends up with a lot of bites.

Jax, after hearing all three awful stories from Nate as Ray judges the fact that Nate and Mick are apparently going to another bar next week, is seriously concerned that Nate is going to accidentally kill Mick before Nate succeeds in getting laid. Nate argues that Mick was genuinely interested when he was talking about his work.

Leonard, watching as Lisa cleans up Mick’s ferret bites, comments that Nate cannot possibly be worth this much trouble. The man is either dangerous or an idiot. Probably both. He’s horrified that Mick is planning to see Nate again,

Mick has put up with a lot worse for a pretty face. Plus, it turns out that his subject area involves that stuff they stole from Central City’s museum last year.
