i wanna try to make a little smunker figure bc a family friend offloaded his partner's unused clay supplies to me, including pasta maker/roller and a little oven specifically for baking it...

Also included some opened and unopened clay but idk i kinda wanna go the "get flesh colored clay and then paint it at the end" route bc im very bad at managing amount of clay needed esp if i have to mix it for different colors also i think painting it wld be relaxing...i jst need to buy some clay.....i jst need to buy some clay.....

Alas, Astrid didn't separate the arms like she did with the legs, so we got the first look at the outer arms for Mojave! I like that the little suns on his paws came out looking like eyes, but I like 'em :D

Here we have the inner arms for Mojave with the bean tax included :D I love how the inner arm embroidery came out X3 Originally I was only going to do that cute little Lizard embroidery, but I decided to also embroider the other arm with scales as well. I'm pretty pleased with how the scales look and the nice color pop that came from it.

#crafting #crochet #gnomes #bnnuy #fursona #furry sfw #the gnomes were for a christmas market thing and i also made some for my relatives on my mother's side #the marionette doll is hugely inspired/based on/copied from a furry marionette doll that went viral on tiktok last year #since that tiktok furry doesnt/didnt have any sort of tutorial i had to work out alot of the process myself which took a while lol #i also got into ghost last year and finally decided to try a bit of linocut printing/cutting again :) #and a couple of weeks ago i got rly into crocheting and made a bunch of granny square swatches and those two bunnies #i also wanna make a granny square blanket but i havent decided on a design yet since there are alot of granny square designs i wanna make #but they dont all fit together thematically #so instead of making a decision i made the two bunnies #the smaller one was the first one and i ran out of the multicolored sock yarn towards the end as you can see lol #the second bunny i made with much larger yarn than what they used in the pattern and if id had followed the pattern i dont think id have ha #enough yarn and i didnt wanna buy more yarn for just the bunny so i tried downsizing the pattern #which is probably part of why it looks quite wonky #other than my less than stellar sewing job lol #tbh amigurumi type patterns are more boring than granny squares in terms of stitch variety (so. many. single crochets.) #but there are more full amigurumi type projects i wanna do compared to granny square projects since im not interested in anything made of #granny squares other than like blankets #and a whole blanket of a decent size is also alot of yarn #and i dont wanna use scratchy but cheap acrylic yarn for a blanket so my color options are currently a bit limited since i dont wanna buy #any online (atleast for now) #anyways i also made some cardweaving patterns for bookmark ribbons for fanfic bookbinding but im rly procrastinating that #im just not rly ready yet for the frustrations that i had with cardweaving a year ago

#one thing abt is i love turning things into skirts. #shirts i feel frumpy in?? immediately sewing those sleeves into pockets or cutting them entirely and sewing into a skirt #and that’s what i’ve done three times! including like the last hour! #anyway the inspiration for the outfit is an actual barbie doll and i love how ir turned out im SOOOOO EXTRA that i baded my outfit on an #actual barbie doll instead of just wearing pink. but like what’s the point even then. #one thing i forgot to turn the skirt inside out when hand sewing it so the stitches r visible which is like . mildly embarrassing but it’s #not like wtf point and laugh kind of noticeable it’ll be a TEENSY bit awkward for pics but that’s it. #also ink beloved will answer ur asks in the morning when i am not in the mindset i am rn love u lots 🫶🏽 #going to finish a book and also. my final 🫣 and then go to bed <3

Here are the 4th pair of shorts I’ve finished, they look awful but I’m proud of them lmaoo

1st I FINALLY REALIZED I HAVE TO MEASURE THE PANTY LINE TOO. So that made them actually fit LOL

2nd NONE OF MY STITCHES GATHERED!!!!!!

and lastly the shorts fit when seated, which is usually a hit or miss for me :B

I would add elastic but because the shorts are uneven so I’m just gonna leave it.

Marc Spector x fem! reader (Implied moon boys x fem! reader)

Summary: Missing the MK System, you decide to make a plush toy of Moon Knight for yourself, so that you have something to cuddle with when they are on missions for Khonshu. While this plush ends up being used for that particular reason, the moon boys are shocked to see that you are no longer as clingy to them as you once were. This leads them to become touch starved, resulting in them hiding the plush.

You miss them all very much. It has only been a day since they left but you miss Marc, Steven, and Jake very much.

Though they have been on missions longer than this most recent one they are currently on. Nevertheless, it’s true when they say absence makes the heart grow fonder.

As you look through Pinterest to look at sewing machine projects that you want to do. You see some pins on how to make dolls. This sparks the idea to create a doll in the form of your boyfriends’ Moon Knight persona that you could use to cuddle when they are gone. With this newfound inspiration, you get to work.

3 Days Later…

Marc is currently fronting as he enters the key to your shared apartment. Though this mission was shorter, the desire to get home to you was what kept him going.

When he locks the front door, Marc notices the silence within the house. No tv nor music playing in the background.

Imagining the worst case scenario, Marc grabs his gun from his travel bag and begins walking around the house in preparation to fight to the death for you. He hears both Steven and Jake from the headspace, trying to reassure him that you are safe and more likely to fall asleep. Though he appreciates the reassurance from them both, Marc’s mind can’t help but wander to think the worst.

As he finally approaches the door to your shared bedroom, Marc finds you asleep on your bed. Although, instead of snuggling into his side of the bed like you normally would when he was gone, Marc is shocked to see you snuggling up with a plushie that looks nearly identical to what he looks like when he wears Khonshu’s ceremonial armor as Moon Knight. Marc smiles to himself as he returns to his regular clothes, beginning to strip to nothing but his boxers and crawls into the bed to get well earned rest.

In the coming weeks, Marc notices how often you cuddle with the plush version of himself and is a bit restless to say the least. Though Marc is happy you have something to remind you of himself when he is away, the feeling isn’t there when he begins to notice that you sometimes even hug the mini him when you both are lounging around together in your room or living room.

Despite Marc always being a bit closed off at the start of your relationship, you helped him open up. Once feeling as if he had to wear the world on his shoulders, that feeling slowly faded away when he was around you.

No longer receiving those cuddles as often as he was once used to, Marc begins to devise a plan. One that will ensure he gets your attention.

As you finish showering and changing into your pajamas, you exit the restroom and enter the bedroom.

When you walk to the bed, you notice that your Moon Knight plushie is no longer laying on the side where you normally sleep. In shock, you look under the bed to make sure it isn’t there. Noting it isn’t there, you move your pillows to see if they aren’t under the bed.

“Marc”! Have you seen mini you?”, you ask.

Marc comes in and says he hasn’t but agrees to help you find him (unbeknownst to you that he hid it).

Thirty minutes of you two looking and not having any luck. Defeated, you lay on your bed a bit upset.

Marc gets into bed next to you and wraps his arms around you. He is a little shocked by the fact that you are upset about this.

Curious to understand why that is, he asks: “Why are you upset about losing the mini me”?

You answer.“Because it’s something to remind me of you when we aren’t together. Also, I figured it would be a good substitute for when you don’t want to cuddle me as I know I can be a bit too much sometimes.”

Everything begins to make sense to him. Marc goes to your closet to get something. When he comes back out, you see that he’s holding your missing plushie.

“I’m sorry I hid this from you”, he says ashamed. “I missed your cuddles and thought that mini me was taking away your attention from me. Despite what you may think, I love our cuddle sessions. It’s because of you, I feel safe enough to be vulnerable. Can you forgive me, baby?”

The moment Marc finishes, he is shocked to see you get up from the bed and grab the plushy from him. You put the plush on your bed and pull him in for a hug.

“You know you can ask me for cuddles whenever”, you say.

Marc looks at you with puppy eyes, “Can we cuddle now?”.

You take his hand and lead him both to your bed. Both of you get settled in with Marc laying his head on your chest as you run your fingers through his curls. Staying this way until sleeps takes over.

So I FINALLY finished my first custom doll. This doll gave me a LOT of trouble and I almost gave up. But I persisted and now she exists!!!!

There’s a lot I’d change or do differently in the future, but for now, I’m just happy to have completed a project 🥰

Some mods I made: her jacket was originally a shirt but I added a little pin and sewed sequins on the back. I also made her the little bead bracelet as well as the belt and necklace. I also added purple glitter to her shoes and two gems to her headphones.

Also in this closeup you can see how crazy messy her face is. Originally it was much cleaner but I had so many issues with her eyes that it got super messed up so I repainted part of it and added more glitter. In a way I think it was a good thing, because I was inspired by some dolls that had super grungy glitter makeup and I think I wasn’t brave enough to make her that messy. By accidentally roughing up her original faceup I was forced to add the grunge element I wanted. So it all worked out in the end! And I’m glad I learned how to add the eyes neatly in the end because now I know how to keep that from happening to the other shadow high custom I’m working on!!

I’ve decided to name her Dottie ^u^
