I almost have Kim Possible ready for DragonCon 2024!! The other day my new hair crimper arrived! I'm going to be crimping a lot of wigs to add volume, including the ponytail for Kim's wig. I know she didn't wear a ponytail when she was out working, but it's the wig I'm using!
Now, I am only one piece away from having everything for Kim! Today, my "Rufus" plushie arrived!!! He's a cute little naked mole rat plushie that I feel looks like Rufus.
Now I just need to get some pants and I'll have everything for Kim! Which means I can do a test run of everything, once I get the wig finished up. I can't wait!

New post on my ShadowHaunted author site about DragonCon, where I will be an Attending Professional once again this year, and ConToberFest/DeepSouthCon 62, where I will be an Author Guest! Pic shows Milton Davis, Literary Guest of Honor for ConToberFest/DeepSouthCon!
No shade toward my teaching gig, but my summer job pays me much more than that does right now, and it includes health insurance in less than 2 months. That's why it's going to be my other job during the school year.
But why is this important? It means more money for costuming!!!
Of the three new costumes coming to DragonCon this year, Ernest P. Worrell is the only one done. Kim Possible and Max Goof are both one piece of clothing each away from having all the elements. I don't have to worry about using birthday money to buy them and rush to get things done by the end of August now!
Because having all the parts bought doesn't always mean the costume is done. For Ernest, it does. Which is nice for a change. Luckily Kim just needs me to do some work fluffing up her ponytail with my new hair crimper, so when I get her pants bought, she'll be done! Max needs his hoodie. Luckily, I am pretty confident about it being easy to get done. It's really about figuring out the right sleeve length, cutting it down, and giving it a quick hem, along with the bottom.
Two weeks to go before I vendor at Supernova located at the Melbourne Showgrounds - April 6th and 7th.
This will be my first ever con / stall, so am very nervous and excited to see how it'll go!! As we get closer to the time, I'll be playing around with table setups and will be showing that with all of you <3
But firstly, its time to show off what I will be displaying at my table!
Every day till the con, I will be posting my merch and a countdown to the big day!
I hope to see some of you there :)! If not, then that's okay! Anything I don't sell will be listed on my Etsy, and of course afterwards, my Etsy will be active once more.
Of course, the first merch item we have is the famous Final Fantasy Chocobos in three different colours and all variations of terrain bases. Theres seven of them in total which I am sure will be sold out once the event is over!

The 2024 Dragon Con Report Episode 1
We’re back for a brand new season of the Dragon Con Report! How much do we love Dragon Con? Let us count the ways. Mike, Jen, and Channing discuss the latest news and list the things about the con that should never change.
Dragon Con stands out as a unique and unparalleled experience for several reasons, transcending the typical convention mold. Beyond its location, vibe, and con families, the event offers an extraordinary array of tracks, panels, and workshops that cater to diverse interests and passions.
It is not just a convention; it’s a vibrant celebration of fandom, creativity, and the shared passion for all things geek. The combination of diverse content, interactive experiences, and a welcoming community truly sets Dragon Con apart as a must-attend event for fans around the world.
From the nightlife, the cosplay, the community, volunteers, celebrity guests and more – there are just some experiences that can only be had in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. While we can’t cover every single thing that sets Dragon Con apart from other conventions – this episode covers some of our personal favorite things that we hope will never change as well as some of listeners’ favorites.
