100+ BOOKS I REMEMBER READING 1, 2, 3, 3.5 , 4, 4.5 , 5 [6 Unmaking Hunter Kennedy - Anne Eliot]
I don’t even know how I found this author but I remember reading two of her books in quick succession (Also, I love that her name is Anne Eliot #persuasionFTW).
Basic plot points are:
Boy band member (Hunter Kennedy)’s people set up an intervention for him after a major event (I won’t spoil it, but definite trigger warning for drugs and blood and depression).
He moves to a nowhere town to stay with a family which our painfully shy other main character (who is crushing hard on her brother’s best friend) is a member of.
They have to figure out how to coexist while they try to keep his identity a secret.
I really enjoyed it in my teens. I feel like I read it a few times or I would at least go back to read specific scenes.
I don’t know if adult me would feel the same, but based on just my past feelings I’d say there’s a 5/10 chance I would read it again.

WIP Wednesday
I was tagged by @im-overstimulated-and-im-sad and @actualalligator so I'm posting this bit of my Christmas crack crossover that I'm gonna get back to writing soon lol. Leverage, White Collar, 9-1-1, and 9-1-1 Lone Star
“You love brats,” Neal said as if the fact was never in question. “Look how many you’ve collected.”
Quinn just smirked. “You’re not wrong, baby. But you do need to pipe down so Daddy can deal with everybody else.” Then he turned his attention back to Carlos, one eyebrow lifting sternly. “You wanna try to answer my question again, Reyes, or should I just put you over my knee and ask again once your bottom’s nice and red?”
Wiggling to Carlos’ side drew his attention, and he turned to see that TK literally had his hand raised, an expectant pout on his face as he looked at Quinn.
“TK, no,” Carlos hissed, grabbing his arm and trying to wrestle his hand down. TK batted at him without looking, still focused on their Dom.
“Something to say, kiddo?” Quinn asked, sounding far too amused. But just as TK opened his mouth, Quinn continued. “Don’t forget you’re getting spanked too, and you know very well that sassing me always earns you an extra sore bottom.”
TK blinked those ridiculous big eyes at Quinn, still very pointedly ignoring Carlos’ attempts to get him to stop whatever he was about to do. “I just thought I’d help Carlos out, because I know he gets sassy so I thought it’d be better if I just answered for him.”
“Tyler Kennedy Strand,” Quinn said very slowly, and TK sank into Carlos with an exaggerated pout. “I gave you a chance to tell me what happened earlier, and you decided to mouth off. Now you’re gonna wait your turn, and stop trying to get your boyfriend spanked even harder.”
“I would never-”
“Never call me and whine that ‘Carlos needs a spanking’? Never spend an entire night practically slap fighting Carlos in our group chat, and asking me to spank him every half hour? Or what exactly is it that you’d never do?”
“There’s plenty of things I’d never do, sir,” TK said primly. “But if you don’t want me to talk, I can be quiet. Even if it is rude to just shut me down.”
“You wanna talk about the nerve I have,” Quinn said, looking briefly at Eliot.
No pressure tagging for anyone who wants to play! @friendly-chaos @eule13 @snowviolettwhite
