spooky tuesday is a (now not so new!) podcast where we’re breaking down all of our favorite slashers, thrillers, monster movies and black comedies on the new scariest day of the week.
it's more than a little unfortunate that when you ask someone if they've seen frozen (2010), you have to first clarify that you don't mean the disney princess movie. once they ~let it go~, though, they just might discover that this flick is worth a watch in its own right. on a new episode of spooky tuesday, we're hitting the slopes to find out what happens when three college kids get trapped on a ski lift with no phones, no food, and certainly no magic ice powers. a cautionary tale about the perils of night skiing — and a potential entrant into the extended 47 meters down cinematic universe — this film offers a new option for one of the worst places to find yourself stranded.
give spooky tuesday a listen on apple podcasts, spotify, iheart radio, or stitcher

Final Destination 5 (2011)
⭐️⭐️
To finish this franchise, they decided to shit on it. Fat phobic comments, misogynistic characters and the R-slur within the first ten minutes? Wow. That was a choice. It’s terrible conclusions like this that make me curse my need to complete things. Besides that, inappropriate conduct on a team building retreat is gross.
Vancouver again, but its being used as an american backdrop. Aggravating enough that they make a recognizable backdrop like the Lionsgate Bridge into something place-less, but slapping American flags and NY plates on the vehicles, too?
Crazy insane how much these characters wasted time in the disaster scene. Like, MOVE. Also, none of them were likeable from the get-go, so I was sort of rooting for Death in this one.
Fuck the CGI in this movie. Sometimes, less is more, especially when dealing with gore. I can tell this was supposed to be seen in 3D and only 3D.
I started writing this review within the first 20 minutes and I am still seething with rage - don’t waste your time like I did. Shitty characters that you hope will die awful deaths because they’re so unappealing to watch. Plus the Coroner started adding more lore to the already rule-heavy game of life and death. Hated the ending.
Watch this film if:
Don’t
Unless you are also a completionist
But, like, don’t
Similar titles:
Just watch one of the first four movies (can’t stress this enough)

Me: Once Upon a Time season 1 is so cozy and comforting :)
ouat s1: government corruption, a woman almost having to give her baby away against her will, a mine collapsing with a child inside, a girl locked in a mental hospital, arson, homeless children needing to steal to survive, said homeless children almost getting separated in the foster care system, infidelity, drugging and kidnapping, attempted muder, actual murder, a murder trial that has nothing to do with the real actual murder, a man slowly and painfully turning into wood, etc.
