So, I just completed a Link to the Past for "research", and his uncle recovers at the end! I feel like not a lot of people have seen the ending, they just see him die at the start and go "yeah, his uncle is dead". I'm going to write Legend's uncle as alive whenever I get the opportunity because the poor kid deserves to have something good happen for once in his life.

one of the best moments of Evergreen is at the end, when Evergreen tries to tell Gunther to use a concentration spell before realizing that he never taught his apprentice a lick of magic. because the thing is… even if he had taught him concentration spells, that wouldn't change the outcome of Gunther putting on the crown. wish magic doesn't care what you're focusing on or what you think you want, it cares about what you want. it's the thing Chatsberry tried to tell Evergreen, and it's why Betty wasn't able to wish for something logically optimal. truly a *chef's kiss* moment.
