After rewatching some of CW’s Flash I have a question:
How weak were original timeline Flash and Reverse Flash?
In the current timeline of Earth Prime, Eobard never really reminisces of his original Barry, and never mentions if he and the current Barry Allen are stronger or weaker than they were before Thawne killed Nora Allen.
In general, Thawne’s timeline is weird without watching any videos that fully explain it. How was original Barry’s life before affecting Thawne’s life? He was the Flash for 4 years before the original crisis that happened in 2024, but apparently went into the future to ruin Eobard’s life.
How would that affect the other shows in an in-universe way? Like team arrow and the legends. How did Supergirl’s world of Earth 38 play a role in this? Thawne said he once fought Superman in the future. He said that to supergirl specifically, meaning he knew of Earth 38, it’s timeline, and other Earths. Who were the original members of the Justice League, since Gideon stated that Flash was a founding member in the original (and current) timeline. Were the Legends of Tomorrow in the original timeline? Since after flashpoint and season 2 of the Legends, Eobard clearly knew about them. What about the names Eobard mentioned to Barry and Nora West-Allen in season 5.
In ‘Flashpoint’ a post-season 3 Barry was able to defeat a quote un quote “prime” Reverse Flash. And was able to then later build a prison that stopped Thawnes’ speed. Also how did the Particle accelerator explode if Harrison Wells was Thawne. It took him until 2024 to do so in the original timeline.
In the original Nora West-Allen timeline, who captured Thawne, since his arrest was 10 years after Barry’s disappearance during the original crisis? Did Wally become faster than the both of them and capture him? Did Supergirl and Superman? Did the Legends or the original Justice League?
These are just a bunch of questions I’ve had in my head for a while.

Unpopular Ship
Not many people like the couple Eobard Thawne(wells version) x Nora West-Allen
I wish it was more popular so there was more content... T.T
I am referring to the CW show of the Flash

Note
Ooh what about a chapter where Eobard and Nora have an argument and end up having angry rough sex. Afterwards Eobard holds her and admits he was only upset because he's worried about losing her and he needs her too much.
I dig this, nonny. ❤️

Nora felt like someone hit her hard with a wrecking ball when she saw Eobard Thawne fighting against Godspeed alongside her own father, The Flash. It all made sense now, how he returned to the timeline. Big Nora brought him back. “Sis? If Thawne’s here and they know all his movements and that we’re here…” Bart trailed off as their father appeared in front of the siblings.
Team Flash smiled at the victory, noticing the future speedsters frowns. “Nora? Bart? What’s wrong?” Caitlin asked them. “You brought back Thawne” Bart told them, his eyes trained on Nora. The older speedster felt her knees weaken, grabbing onto the railing beside her. Nora’s lightning flash from purple to red, flicking as she steadied her breathing. “Bart find her now!” Nora gasped, the familiar rage bottling up inside her.
The young speedster nodded before flashing out of the room. Iris appeared with Speedorce Nora, her face morphing into worry as she saw her daughter in pain. “Barry what’s happening!?” Iris shouted, she couldn't lose her daughter. Not again.Speedforce Nora gasped, “How could I forget about (Y/N)” she went to ease Nora’s pain. “No Big Nora! If you touch me…” Nora grunted in pain, falling to her knees. “(Y/N) will see me as a threat due to my link with her father” Speedforce Nora finished, stepping back next to Iris.
“Who’s (Y/N)?” Barry asked the two Noras. “My partner” Nora breathed out, trying to regulate her breathing still. “Eobard’s child. In the future he hurts her the way he hurt you Barry. My sweet (Y/N), I should have known the consequences of bringing their father back while you were in 2021” Speedforce Nora sighed.
“That doesn’t explain why Nora is reacting like this!” Frost exclaimed, the room becoming colder with her temper. “(Y/N)’s mother didn’t have a spark of organic speed like Iris, (Y/N) is only half meta; their mother was a witch. When Thawne returns to 2049, he goes after the people they love most like Nora” Speedforce Nora explains to Team Flash.
“(Y/N) put a protection spell on me before I got my speed. In case Eobard ever went after me they would know and come to me. But they won’t stop until he’s gone, (Y/N) has never been this close. I don’t know what they’ll do” Nora panted.
In a flash of yellow, Bart and another person stood before the team. “Bartholomew Joseph West-Allen! I swear to every god in existence I will end you!” The person screamed at him, purple lightning flickering around them. “Fair enough. But how about you help Nora first F.S.I.L!” Bart shouted back to you, pointing at your girlfriend.
You turned your gaze to your girlfriend gasping for breath on her knees, red and purple lightning flickering around her. “Baby!” You panicked, falling in front of Nora. You put your hands at both sides of her head, resting your forehead against hers. You began to murmur an ancient language, the purple and red flickers surrounding you both. Nora’s eyes began to turn purple as her lightning began to overcome the red. Your own lightning began to shift from purple to a dark pink, your eyes glowing the pink like Nora’s.
Once your chanting stops the lightning and glowing eyes disappear. You helped Nora up from the floor before pulling her in tightly. “Lo siento mucho! Si hubiera sabido que viajar en el tiempo te afectaría así, nunca lo hubiera hecho/ I'm so sorry! If I had known that time travel would affect you like this, I never would have.” You rambled, kissing her hair quickly with every word or so.
Nora giggled slightly at your guilt ridden words, she slightly pulled away from you and placed her hands on the side of your face. “Baby, it’s okay you couldn’t have known” She tried to reassure you. “N! I could have killed you! I couldn’t live with mys…” You were cut off by your girlfriend pressing her lips against yours. It was quick and left you dazed for a moment until Nora pulled back. “You talk too much” Nora told you. You huffed before looking back at Bart. “You’re still in trouble” You glared at him, a slight Hispanic accent to your voice. “Whatever F.S.I.L, I know you love me” Bart commented, only to be punched in the arm by you.
You then turned to Team Flash, quickly grabbing Nora’s hand in fear. “(Y/N), I am so sorry” Speedforce Nora apologised to you. “It stopped Godspeed Fuerza de velocidad Nora, I am not angry at you” You smiled at the deity. Speedforce Nora pulled you into a tight hug. Once you parted you smiled shyly at Team Flash. Nora came beside you, taking your hand in hers. “Mom, Dad meet (Y/N) my partner” She smiled. “Iris, Barry it’s lovely to meet you again before you meet younger me” You ranted, only for Nora to pull you back.
“It’s lovely to meet you too (Y/N)…” Iris raised her eyebrow. “(L/N)-Garcia” You finished before realising what you said. “Mierda, mamá me va a matar cuando vuelva a casa!/ Shit mom is gonna kill me when I go home!” You cursed in Spanish. You looked at Nora who only smiled softly at you while Bart was trying to hold in his laughter. You shot the boy a dangerous glare shutting him up completely. “Garcia? Like Allegra Garcia?” Chester questioned, looking back at y and then to Allegra.
“Surprise! You're a mother!?” You cringed, wishing the earth swallowed you whole. Allegra looked as if she would pass out. Before she could even speak a word, you held your head in your hands. “Ahhh” You groaned, your eyes flashing red like Eobard. You moved from Nora, scratching at your scalp. ‘You know where to find me, little runner’ Eobard’s voice echoed in your mind. Soon enough the pain ceased and you stood up properly. “What did he say?” Nora asked you, concerned to what Eobard wants with you so soon. “He’s at the old Allen residence. He wants a face to face” You said coldly.
Nora saw the look in your eyes. It was the same look you had when she first met Eobard after he attacked her lab. “Babe, you can’t. He knows how to push your buttons, drive you over the edge” Nora reminded you. “But this time I have more control. He used you as my weakness little does he know you're my biggest strength” You told Nora, kissing her forehead.
Cisco walked over to you, handing you a com piece. “We’re here if you need us” He said, you took the com out of his palm and into your ear. Bart sped over and hugged you tight. “Stay safe F.S.I.L” He whispered into your ear. “Promise kid” You smiled, hugging him back.
You looked to see Allegra fiddling with her sleeve. You hugged her fast, “Gracias por ser mi mama/ Thank you for being my mom” You told her, not expecting her to hug you back. “No puedo esperar por eso ... mi hija/ I can’t wait for it… my daughter” Allegra answered back, she quickly warmed up to you being her daughter.
You turned to Nora, who took your hands in hers. “Promise me, you know what your doing” Nora pleaded with you. “I promise mi amour, I will come back to you. You had me at hello” You kissed her as if she was your lifeline. As you both parted, you ran out of the building with purple lightning following in suit. “ Why does her lightning change colours?” Barry asked. “Because she’s around the one she loves most” Speedforce Nora smiled, looking at Nora who looked dazed in a loving way.
><><><><
You stood in the old Allen residence, hands glowing dark pink with your magic pumping through your veins. “Come out Father!” You shouted. You noticed a bolt of red lightning in the corner of your eyes. You turned quickly, created a force field with your powers. “Is that all you got! Come on, I thought you were powerfu-” You fell to the ground, a sharp pain in your cheek. You put your hand to it, feeling the blood trickling down.
‘(Y/N)!’ Nora exclaimed over the coms. “I’m okay mi amour” You reassured, jumping to your feet. “You should know Father, I was trained by Frost and Sara Lance” You called. “Is that so my child?” Eobard taunted before creating a rod of our lightning. You cracked your neck, letting your powers take full control. Your eyes glowed dark pink as purple pulsing light formed from your palms.
Eobard went to hit you but each time you blocked him. This time he went to strike your heart, you grabbed the rod of pure lightning with your bare hand. Eyes glowing brighter as a layer of UV radiation covers your body. “You forget one thing about witches, Eobard. We mimic the power we’ve been around the most” You snarled blasting Eobard back with a mix of UV radiation and lightning infused magic.
You created your own dagger of lightning, raising it over Eobard’s heart. “Do it (Y/N)! You’re a Thawne, you always will be no matter what!” Eobard snarled. ‘(Y/N) you’re not a Thawne, your a (L/N), a Garcia. But most of all your the love of my life and I know that deep down you will never be like him’ Nora reminded you, her voice pleading you not to kill Eobard.
You stabbed him thigh, twisting the wound. “Even with your speed healing you won’t be able to run for a couple hours. Just enough time for me to bring you to the pipeline” You mused, making a circle motion with your pointer finger. A small black hole the size of a rung appeared underneath Eobard, he screamed as he fell through.
You closed up the black hole before running back to STAR Labs.
><><><
You smiled as Nora walked over to you, a huge smile plastered on her face. Everyone was at the West-Horton residence for Barry and Iris’ Renewal Ceremony. You wore a simple (F/C) 50’s inspired dress and your hair in a neat braid. You admired your girlfriend who wore a lovey purple top and white skirt. You kissed her lightly before spinning her in a circle. “ Te ves hermosa mi amor/ You look beautiful my love” You complimented her. “And you look stunning Baby” Nora smiled, blushing at your comment.
Allegra and Chester walked up to you both. “You look lovely Mama” You told her, making her smile brightly. “I may not be used to being called Mama but thank you, mi hija” Allegra thanked. “You too Chuck” You told Chester who smiled, straightening his posture. “As do you kin of Garcia” He mused, making the four of you laugh. “I have to ask though, how did you create that black whole?” Chester asked you. You and Nora both shared a look before you cleared your throat.
“Witches can mimic or gain the powers of those they care for most. Since I’m half meta, I gained Mama’s powers and Nora’s lightning colour. I can manipulate black holes because of you, it’s mostly magic but thanks to the dark matter in your DNA I gained the ability. You are a huge part of my life, Chuck” You explained to the pair. Chester became more ecstatic than before and Allegra ushered him away to calm down. You let out a sigh of relief alongside Nora. “Best not to tell them about their future” Nora said in a hushed tone. You nodded in agreement before the ceremony started.
You stood by the door as Iris made her way downstairs. She wore a beautiful red dress with her hair but into an elegant bun done by yourself. “Nice entrance” Cisco commented, wearing the STAR Labs scarf thing he made as he was the pastor for the renewal ceremony. “Thank you” Iris chuckled.
“Now, before we get to the main event, I know you two have asked us all to… keep it simple for this occasion” Cisco began as we all chuckled at his comment. “But some of us couldn’t resist adding a little something extra special to the festivities, so without further ado, my dudes” Cisco said, handing both Nora and Bart a mic. You stood next to Iris as Nora and Bart moved to the middle of the room. “Thank you, Cisco. Appreciate it” Bart smiled. “Mom, Dad, this is for you” Nora began, giving you the signal.
You lifted your hands, the soft glow of you magic catching everyone’s eyes. You created purple and yellow lightning piano keys and began to fill the room with music.
[Nora]
I wanna come home to roses
And dirty little notes on Post-its
And when my hair starts turning gray
They'll say I'm like a fine wine, better with age
I guess I learned it from my parents
That true love starts with friendship
A kiss on the forehead, a date night
Fake an apology after a fight
[Both]
I need someone who's patient and kind
Gets out of the car and holds the door
I wanna slow dance in the living room like
We're eighteen at senior prom and grow
Old with someone who makes me feel young
I need someone who loves me like
My father loves my mom
[Bart]
I want a road trip in the summers
I wanna make fun of each other
I wanna rock out to Billy Joel
And flip our kids off when they call us old
They'll accidentally burn our dinner
And let me be the scrabble winner
And when they’re body changes shapes
I'll say, "Oh my God, you look hot today"
[Both]
I need someone who's patient and kind
Gets out of the car and holds the door
I wanna slow dance in the living room like
We're eighteen at senior prom and grow
Old with someone who makes me feel young
I need someone who loves me like
My father loves my mom
And if I live up to my father
Maybe they could teach our daughter
What it takes to love a queen
[Nora]
She should know she's royalty
I need someone who's patient and kind
[Both]
Gets out of the car and holds the door
I wanna slow dance in the living room like
We're eighteen at senior prom and grow
Old with someone who makes me feel young
[Bart]
I need someone who loves me like
My father loves my mom
[Nora]
I need someone who loves me like
My father loves my mom
Nora looked right at you as you finished playing your magical piano, her gaze filled with love.
As the ceremony concluded, everyone made their way to the backyard to celebrate. You looked at Barry and Iris, the two giving you eager looks. ‘You sure’ You mouthed to the couple. They both nodded vigorously at you. You lifted your glass and made a quick tapping sound. “May I have your attention” You called out, gaining everyone’s attention. “I have an important announcement” You began.
You looked to your beautiful girlfriend. “Nora West-Allen, since the day we met in CCPD I knew that you were always going to be in my life. Sure we’ve had our darkest days but no matter what you will always have me at your side and I hope to be by yours” You began to kneel on one of your knees, taking out a purple velvet box.
Nora looked at you shocked, a collective gasp being shared by everyone around you as you opened the box. “Nora Francine West-Allen, will you give me the honour of being my wife?” You asked her, tears filling your eyes.
“Yes! A thousand times yes” Nora squealed, jumping into your arms. She pulled back and kissed you with everything she had. “I love you so much” You mumbled under her kiss. “I love you too” She replied.
“Okay Future Sister In Law! Let’s get this party started!” Bart announced throwing you a microphone.
You smiled as the music became familiar to your ears.
‘I can feel you comin' from a mile away
My pulse starts racing from the words that you say
And you say so many of them like you don't have a clue
That I'm signed, sealed delivered with a stamp on
You don't have to try too hard
You already have my heart
You don't got a thing to prove
I'm already into you
So
Hold, Hold, Hold, hold me tight now
Cause I'm so, so good to go
Don't say
Don't say goodnight you know
You had me @ hello
You had me @ hello
You had me @ hello
Don't say
Don't say goodnight you know
You had me @ hello
Close your mouth now baby don't say a word
Cause you ain't saying nothing
I ain't already heard
Plus all them words get buried when the beats so loud
And the speakers blowin' up to this dance song
You don't have to try too hard
You already have my heart
You don't got a thing to prove
I'm already into you
So
Hold, hold, hold, hold me tight now
Cause I'm so, so good to go
Don't say Don't say goodnight you know
You had me @ hello
You had me @ hello
You had me @ hello
Don't say
Don't say goodnight you know
You had me @ hello
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah
You don't have to try too hard
You already have my heart
You don't got a thing to prove
I'm already into you
So
Hold, hold, hold, hold me tight now
I'm so, so good to go
Don't say
Don't say goodnight you know
You had me @ hello

7 and 12?
7: what is you favourite sentence/paragraph? read it to us!
“Well, you’re still in school. There’s time for you to grow up and do something with your life.”
“You’re not in school anymore, but I’d say the same for you, Hartley.”
Morgan sassing Hartley is the best thing!! I love her 🥰
We haven’t even gotten to her meeting Jesse and Harry yet, the snark levels will be off the charts
12: what headcanon will you keep implementing in your fics, even if canon ends up contradicting it?
I’ve talked about my CK and ATLA headcanons here, so let’s get into some Flash headcanons!
I have a whole list of birthdays 😂 mostly that Hartley is a few years younger than the Team and born on March 15th (Cisco jokes that it’s a bad omen, since it’s the Ides of March). Eliza is a couple years younger than Caitlin, but they’re birthday twins. Nora is 18, not 28, because it makes more sense narratively.
Also, the whole deleted scene with Thawne explaining that he “stole” Harrison’s love? Yeah, that’s canon in my head. Gives him some more depth.
Malcolm Thawne exists, and he’s Eobard’s real ancestor, which is how Eobard was able to live on after S1. The timeline got confused for a hot second with Eobard saying Eddie was his ancestor so they accidentally erased him then went “whoops, our mistake! You still have a living ancestor!” 😂
Cisco and all iterations of Harrison Wells have autism. Barry, Jesse, Morgan, and Nora West-Allen have ADHD. (Nora might have autism instead...? TBD). Basically everyone is bisexual. Hunter’s straight though, so are the DeVoes, and there are other non-villain exceptions that I’ll figure out eventually. Morgan’s aroace, but she hasn’t quite figured that out yet 😂
Tina is single and in love with Henry. In canon, they don’t get to date/get married because Henry dies. In my AU...👀
I also have a headcanon that Jesse had a girlfriend at some point! And I’m going to implement that 🥰
OH ALSO WALLINDA! That happens too! I headcanon it happens offscreen after Wally leaves the Team to join the Legends, and the Legends all know. They’re actually the ones who tell Team Flash, who feel bad for not trying to keep in touch with Wally (as they should!). Oh also, Jesse and Wally are friends after their breakup, and she actually is part of the group encouraging Wally to ask out Linda!
In my AU, it happens differently, but it does happen! Wallinda/Wallylinda is too iconic in the comics to pass up 🥰
questions are from here!

Harrison Wells (Eobard Thawne) x Reader - Integrated Revelations (1/3)
Tumblr media
**A/N: The picture/edit/gif does not belong to me.
*I attempted a thing where I try to get back into the groove of writing for my murder speed husband... It’s probably shit, but here goes nothing. Sorta another theory I’ve had and had all these scenes connect together. I’m a shit writer so... Also, I’m dying and crying. Hahaha. I literally am dying. My uni work online is being ridiculously overwhelming along with my work hours for school. I really need a week with no deadlines or work just to get caught up with three weeks of work for certain classes. I really need to take a break. But I can’t, started to loose sleep. Can’t even have time to write or play Pokemon Reborn. Anyway, that a bit of an update from me. I wrote this back in July, hoping to have written a fic a week (which turned out to not happen, but hey, I tried) until October to post things. Also this most likely has grammer errors. I’m sorry. Once again, a shit writer. Please don’t forget to comment, like, and reblog. It means a lot to content creators of all kinds!

Part 2  Part 3
“Well...” Eobard’s raspy voice didn’t seem to alarm the two speedsters that had phased into the Time Vault. The futuristic speedster had sat with a leg crossed over the other, and elbow resting on the arm of the chair. “Things just got a lot more complicated, didn't they?” Eobard pushed from the chair, standing up and taking a few steps forward. Nora and Barry looked on, one adorned a look of uncertainty and the other masqueraded his rage and pain through the years. “Barry Allen.” Barry nodded along, gauging the black-haired man’s façade. “But which Barry Allen? Clearly, you're… from a lot later than this one.” Eobard maneuvered his body and pointed to the unconscious form of an earlier Barry Allen.
“Way later.” Barry simply answered, looking indifferent.
“Way later,” Eobard echoed the response, putting emphasis on the word ‘way’. The scientist nodded along, pursuing his lips as his electric blue eyes flickered to Nora. Before anyone could speak, could even move the Time Vault door dematerialized. Nora watched as an earlier version of yourself entered the Vault hurriedly and out of breath. You had entered looking over your shoulder with a tablet in hand. You had been scanning for the supposed Time Wraith that had attacked Barry, but not your present time Barry.
“Eo, I traced-” You froze in place as you turned your gaze forward. Fear crippled your heart as you saw a version of Barry, much older through the years, and a woman not too far off his from his age. You swallowed thickly, clutching the tablet tighter. There’s three Barry Allen’s now?? Who the hell decided to break time? A small throbbing sensation erupted at the back of your head, but you dismissed it. Eobard had swiftly moved to stand in front of you. His eyes connected with yours for a moment.
“You knew?!” The young woman spoke up, stepping forward towards you which caused Eobard to hold out a subtle arm out to the side to keep you behind him. “All those years.” The older man narrowed his eyes at what the female had called out to you. You frowned at her words in confusion. Who is she? An image flashed through your mind of the woman, smiling proudly at Barry while wearing a dark purple and white suit with a yellow emblem. She clearly knows who I am, but… What even happened? Are they from a different future? You pushed away the image to the back of your mind. “How could y-”
“If you even think about touching her, either of you, then you’ll regret ever running back here,” Eobard steely replied. You took a step closer to your speedster boyfriend in case something were to happen and he needed to speed you away to safety. Not that you needed saving, but you were still working on defending yourself via your lessons with the futuristic speedster. So, they’re from the future, and I’m guessing far off from this other Barry, but not too far for him to age too much. You spared a small glance to the cuffed and unconscious Barry Allen on the ground. It hurt your heart to see him vulnerable like that, but Eobard had confided to you his suspicions regarding this Barry Allen. One Barry Allen problem at a time. Taking a breath in, you remained silent and studied the two speedsters that confronted your speedster.
“Let it go.” Barry grabbed onto the speedster’s shoulder, holding her back. Oddly enough, Barry’s words coldly cut through you.
“Now,” Eobard’s cocky attitude returned to him as he established the safety of your presence. He had that kind of affect, putting himself on the air of superiority and intellect with his attitude and words to belittle the person in front of him rightly so to get the desired reaction he wants and anticipates. Eobard knows how to tug on Barry’s strings. “Who's your friend? Let me guess. Jesse Chambers- No. Maybe Lawrence. Wait- Danica Williams-”
“-It doesn't matter who she is.” Barry cut off Eobard’s rattling of names.
You eyed Eobard’s deceptive small smile as he held Barry’s gaze then turned to the young adult. The female remained silent, avoiding Eobard’s icy eyes. “She's your daughter.” You scrunched your face in confusion before the neurons clicked in your head after a few seconds. Lemme guess, she’s a speedster that ran back in time and met a younger version of her father. Weird flex bro, but whatever. You do you. If I was a speedster, I’d do things differently. Obviously not up to scale what with the tampering that Eobard likes to do with the timeline to get his way with things. “You've brought me your daughter.” Your eyes flickered back to Barry before taking another look at the female and seeing a bit of resemblance, other than the fact that she was a speedster like him. Then the article Eo’s been obsessing about did reveal something true. Barry does take Iris as his wife. The West-Allen family. “It's, um... Dawn, if I'm not mistaken.”
“Nora.” The young speedster forced out after briefly glancing at her father.
“Nora. Oh, that's nice.” Eobard turned back to Barry with a smirk, “At least you still have one.” That’s cruel, Eo. “What- Nora- time travel's so weird-”
“Why did you come here?” You found the nerve to speak up, moving to stand beside the man masquerading as Harrison Wells. I’m not going to be afraid; I can’t always cower behind Eobard if something unexpected happens. I need to take things in my own hands. Even if they do find out about- You cleared any evidence of distress at their sudden appearance from your throat, “What do you want?”
“I need him to fix this for me.” Barry held up a broken tube-like device in his hand.
A thought hit the genius scientist instantaneously, his blue eyes widening. Turning your body, you saw Eobard take a few steps backwards, “No...” The headache didn’t go away, instead intensifying slightly by the second. Negative emotions flooded your system at Eobard’s crippling composure. He shook his head at them. “No, if you're here...” Eo turned to face the unconscious Barry, cuffed to his motored wheelchair, pointing to them and him. “And he's here... that means-”
“-You don't get home.” Barry simply stated. Your heart shook, terror and dread feeding into your system at his words. Uncertainty of the future- your future with Eobard- plagued you. How does this all end?
“I get home!” The yellow speedster whipped his head around in agitation, his voice raising with every statement. Barry smirked cruelly as he shook his head. You held your breath at Eobard’s spiking wrath, you hadn’t seen him this angry since General Eiling’s interference with The Flash and Plastique. Even then he’d mask his resentment to pull the strings in the game strategically. “I get home. I go home! I get everything-”
“-You don't go home, Thawne.” The Scarlet Speedster halted the Man in the Yellow Suit. Eobard clenched his jaw. You reached out a hand to rest it on his arm in an attempt to calm him. His eyes met yours for a fraction of a second. You felt the tension hang heavily in the air. “Unless… you help me.” Barry held up his broken device once more, mockingly this time. Your eyes flickered to the ring on his right hand. Similar to Eobard’s. A future version of Cisco must have been able to figure out how to use microtech to compress Barry’s suit. He’s the greatest mechanical engineer that I know. Eobard’s shoulders sagged a fraction as Barry held his ground. Turning around, the genius scientist rubbed his face before kicking the spare Barry in annoyance. Barry, all clad in black, winced because he probably ended up feeling that kick. You and Nora remained silent, eyeing the exchange between both speedsters.
Eobard shifted his body back, hands on his hips and fueled hatred present in his eyes. “What do you want?”
“Like I said, you're gonna fix this for me.”
“To do what?”
“Drain dark matter.”
What could Barry possibly need with Dark Matter? Hasn’t it done enough damage? “Whose dark matter?” You crossed your arms with the tablet close to your chest, a frown on your face as Eobard stepped beside you once more.
“None of your business.” Barry sneered at you. You narrowed your eyes at his demeanor, the young man who you gradually grew close to and considered as another brother like Cisco.
“Barry-”
“-It is our business.” Eobard retorted, taking your hand in his tightly. Both men were frustrated at the others persistence.
“No, it's not.”
Eobard started, letting go of you and rounding heatedly on to Barry, “There's no chance that I help you-”
You reached a hand out. “-Eobard, don’t-”
- It's none of your business-”
“-Cicada's!” Nora blurted out. Silence filled the room between the four of your, outbursts settling. You blinked a few times, taking a step back and resting a palm against your temple. Grimacing, you cast your eyes down as images of a half-masked man in green stood with a dagger. A glowing dagger with a look of emptiness and death in his eyes. That man looks dead to the world, as if willing to kill for an estranged purpose. It’s so cold. You shook your head subtly and stood your ground, unwilling to show weakness, but you saw Nora’s eyes shift when she looked at you. Barry eyed his daughter with a sort of incredulous look while a calculating and analytical look flashed through Eobard’s eyes.
“Cicada's.” The name seemed so familiar to Eobard as it easily slipped of his tongue. The hushed tone in Eobard’s voice expressed a calm before the storm. A deceptive man full of secrets and knowledge of many, many years to come. Especially when it came to The Flash. “The one who got away. You want to destroy Cicada's dagger, don't you?”
“We want to save lives.”
A cynical laugh leaves your speedster’s lips as you pursed yours, trying to tease out the logics from Barry. “You want to save lives.” Eobard chuckled mockingly at Barry’s response. “I bet you do. I bet you do. Especially your own, right, Barry Allen?”
“Look, that me,” Barry pointed to the other version of himself in the room, “he's gonna wake up soon. He sees me standing here, your whole timeline is gonna be blown to hell. You're never gonna get home. You know that's true!”
“I know! I know!” Eobard sighed, his facial expression contorted, and his eyes held a different motive as he flicked his gaze to Nora, who hadn’t stop taking glimpses of you. “Where are my manners? Can I get you a cup of water?” You rolled your eyes at Eobard’s ploy.
***
The four of you had moved to the small lab, far from the Cortex in avoidance of Caitlin and Cisco. The timeline was a fickle thing to speedsters, Eobard had told you that. But oddly enough, when it came to Eobard it seemed to be malleable to his every whim. Tools and spare wires littered along the desk your speedster boyfriend was working at. The monitor held a camera feed of the Time Vault where Barry’s unconscious younger version was still unconscious.
How hard did Eobard hit him? Like, how the hell is he still asleep even through all that yelling and seething??
“Here,” you handed Nora a bottle of purified water.
“Thanks,” she quietly spoke, you nodded at her. You really didn’t know what to think about someone who knew you in the future, yet you had no idea who she would be until a few years later. Would I even still be in this time period by then? Or would Eobard had kept his promise? … Nothing’s making any sense right now. You felt frustrated for not really being part of their conversations. You were… just there.
“So, who made this?” Eobard examined the piece of teach as he started working on it.
Barry answered with pocketed hands, “Someone smarter than you.”
“I doubt that,” You snorted as Eobard laughed at Barry’s statement. Leaning against the dark blue beam of the side lab, you crossed your arms avoiding Barry’s gaze when he glanced over to you. You chewed on the inside of your cheek. “If so, then why come here? Why go through all the trouble to come here when you can get help from the person who made it? Why then would you need Eobard’s help?”
“We-”
“It’s… complicated,” Barry sighed before Nora could finish saying anything, pocketing his hands.
“I think that’s an understatement to the type of trouble that seems to find you, Barr.” You crossed your arms. “At least a Time Wraith didn’t follow you this time. Which I’m still having trouble tracking down.” You nodded to his former self on the monitor. Barry rolled his eyes at you.
“You know, Allen,” the yellow speedster wheeled around, electric blue eyes meeting Barry’s green gaze, “for your plan to work, you're gonna actually have to have his dagger in your possession...”
“We've got that covered.”
The villainous speedster raised an eyebrow at the forensics scientists. “You got that covered. How’s that?” He humored them.
“With this.” Nora pulled out a dark piece of metal, holding it out for you and Eobard to observe momentarily.
“What is that?” You piqued up, causing Nora to look over at you. An odd emotion flickered in her eyes. Eobard reached a hand out to it only for Barry to pluck it from Nora’s grasp. Your eyes flickered between the two then back to Nora. She didn’t seem to be cautious around you and Eobard at all. Revealing the reason for aid and showing Eobard exactly what he seemed to want to see. You weren’t a genius, but you obviously saw the pointed looks that Barry subtly gave his daughter. The cogs were turning in your head as well as in Eobard’s. He masked his growing speculation about the two speedsters.
“Is that-”
“It's a piece of Savitar's suit, yeah.” Barry stoically responded, since Nora had already shown Eobard the metallic piece, to Eobard’s oncoming question before he could even finish. Barry knew Eobard recognized the object, shaking his head that that cat was out of the bag for this secret too.
“Savitar?”
“Savitar. The Future Flash and the self-proclaimed God of Speed, kitten,” Eobard simply explained as he worked. Images of a metallic suit flashed through your mind as it hummed with energy; a familiar face shrouded in shadows and a hauntingly course voice. “A twisted time remnant of the man you know to be your friend. Another big bad that Barry’s had to face in the future, primarily due to the mistakes of his growing unhappiness. Isn’t that right, Flash? The pain you’ve caused the people around you just for you selfish wishes.” Barry rolled his eyes but remained silent.
“Eobard, play nice,” you scolded the older man, “they’re still guests here after all.”
“Hmph. You know what's funny about your dad, Nora,” the futuristic genius caught her attention, “is he hates me. Hates me with a passion, and yet a version of him, this Savitar, is a much bigger jerk than I ever was. Did you see the face?” Eobard gestured to his own face, primarily to one side of his face while snickering “Did you- did you see the, like, pizza face-” Nora awkwardly stepped from foot to foot, looking away.
“-Pizza face?-” Eobard Tiberius Thawne you owe me so many fucking answers when we get home because these images aren’t making as much sense as they should.
“-Can you hurry up?-”
“-Yeah, I'll hurry up.” Eobard smugly nonchalantly threw the tiny screwdriver onto the desk. He picked up a different on. “I gotta tell you, Allen, using Savitar's suit, it's a smart idea.”
Barry tilted his head to his daughter. “It was hers.”
Eobard gave her a hard look. His eyes flickered towards you then turned around. “Clever girl.” You picked up an odd indication in his tone. The speedster narrowed his eyes at the tech as he ignited it, illuminating in his hands to signal its functioning aspect. On the monitor, the four of you noticed that the other Barry was coming to consciousness. Eobard inhaled silently. “Oops.” Eobard swiveled his body around to hand them the piece of tech. “Gotta go.” Barry narrowed his eyes, quiet hatred behind them as he took the tech from his nemesis. “I still look forward to seeing how this all pans out. Nora. Kitten, make sure they see their way out,” Eo glanced at you one last time before speeding away in a torrent of red-lightning to the Time Vault. The three of you watched as the villainous speedster reclaimed his rightful place, crossing his legs once more. An analytical look across his features.
You spoke before the two speedsters sped away in a torrent of lightning. “Cicada’s the one with the lightning-shaped dagger, the one that glows ominously? Heartless eyes? Breathing problems?”
“Yeah? How did you…?” Nora trailed off. Barry figured that your powers were still manifesting themselves and it seems that their run back in time has triggered sporadic post-cognitive images to be revealed through certain key words.
“It doesn’t matter how-,”
“Your powers are still developing,” Barry interjected, pocketing the tech safely. “It seems that our visit has amplified what you can do. Let’s just what it doesn’t shift anything else”
He knows about my powers… Right, time travel. “Just be safe. I-I don’t know too much and I’m not sure what the future holds, but whatever trouble you two have run into just be cautious. Not for me, but for the ones you love. The past will always have some sort of domino effect to the future. I may not be able to time travel, but Eobard has taught me a thing or two about it.” You stopped, looking off to the side while rubbing your arm. “Barry?”
“Hmm?”
“Just answer me this one thing.”
“… It depends.”
“I know, timeline and speedster stuff. But…” You took a breath in, “Is he safe?” The speedster avoided your eyes. You swallowed thickly, moving your gaze to Nora. “Does he live?” She opened her mouth a fraction, moved by the desperation evident in your eyes
“I can’t answer that.” Barry whispered without hesitation, an alien emotion behind those eyes, replacing the kindness and warmth the Barry you knew had. It was bitter. “Nora, it’s time to go back to the night it all began.” Barry flashed away to the pipeline. Nora remained.
“I’m sorry,” She whispered, your body felt numb at the absence of answers. You turned back to the monitor, running both hands through your hair before picking up a spare tool and frustratingly throwing it at the wall. Picking up the tablet once more, you ran some algorithms and diagnostics privately on your powers as you made you way to the Time Vault.
Eobard’s head perked up in question at your entrance. He remained seated catching your troubled look. You only whispered, “We need to talk after this is over,” before leaning against the wall and tapping at the screen of your tablet. He hadn’t missed the embittered look in your eyes, the prominent frown on your face. A peculiar emotion hidden behind those lovely eyes of yours when the speedster had been so accustomed to seeing lights and twinkling of stars within your irises.
Eobard rubbed his wrist as he attained messy hair due to Barry and Nora’s revelations. You speculated he had been running his hands through it in thought as he tried to decipher the truth and what his next plan of action would be. King vs King. Eobard and Barry. It was a dangerous game and it’s clear that Team Flash are Barry’s pieces to move while Iris was by his side. From the future’s perspective. But you… at this point, you hazard a thought of what Eobard saw of you as. Queen… or Pawn. Pursing your lips, you shoved those thoughts away as your mind reminded you of all you and he had gone through since he had revealed himself and his truth to you. But right now, you were feeling so conflicted and insecure at how everything would play out. He promised to take me home with him… That we could start a life together. I don’t want to be used up and thrown away again. I’m tired of being broken and alienated.
The restrained Barry shifted once more in abrupt confusion as he found himself slumped against the cool metal of Eobard’s motorized wheelchair. A prop to his act. His mind felt foggy and arms felt heavy, particularly his right hand. You stopped tapping and eyed him indifferently because you really had no idea how to feel, but you realized you need to be cautious with how you act and what you say until you and Eobard clear things up from earlier events.
Barry’s eyes darted rapidly to the seated, smirking speedster in front of him then to you then to the metacuffs before lingering back to Harrison. The Scarlet Speedster assessed the guarded expression on your face. You saw this Barry feign confusion, eyebrows raised as he eyed the metacuffs and Dr. Wells. You cracked your neck as Eobard did a little hand-wave gesture to Barry. The young speedster looked baffled, probably at getting caught, as he opened and closed his mouth.
“Now, who are you?”

One hell of a team
Summary :
After Barry returned from the speedforce he started to sideline you even if you are a speedster. What happens when you have enough?
You just discovered that Barry's dauther Nora was working with Reverse Flash and that Barry took her back to the future. It caused a fight between the West Allen couple. Meanwhile there was another fight with Cicada and you were by the coms... Again. You rarely went out on the field anymore and it pissed you off.
"Okay so why I had to stay here? It was ages since I have been on the field with you."
"It's for the best y/n."
"What? You can't keep sidelining me!"
" Y/n I don't want you out there!"
"Why?"
" Because I don't trust anyone except me anymore!"
"You don't trust me... Then I guess I should give you reason not to Flash."
You were angry... So you ran and ran until you ended up in the future standing before Thawne cell.
" y/n... What do I own the pleasure of seeing you here?"
" I don't know what your plan is but I want in."
" Why should I trust that?"
" Because I'm tired of being in the background for team Flash. I want them to see what I am capable of. So whatever you're planning. I'm in."
A few hours later
The power dempening dagger was destroyed and because of that reverse flash was free and fighting with the team. You were by the coms yet again but this time you played for a different team. You could hear Thawne talking.
"Team Flash all together well except for one. Y/n Is by the coms I'm assuming... Well I left a little present at star labs."
That was his signal I activated a danger alert and ran with Sherloque ck to the pipeline.
"you'll be safe here I'll look around."
I locked him in and went back to the cortex where I changed my frequency so only Eoboard could here me.
"I'm here Wells is locked away I'm going to send a high frequency to vibe so he won't be able to vibe for quite some time. Then I'll do the rest."
" Perfect now I'll take care of them. Well looks like my partner has everything under control. If you only took y/n with you. This wouldn't have happened."
You find the Philosopher stone and proceed by Eoboards instractions until there's an explosion of light and Savitar steps out of it.
" I can't believe it's you who brought me back."
" Well believe it and I only followed Thawnes instructions."
"I missed you y/n. Really. We will be gods. Three fastest speedsters in the world."
" We can be more than that."
You stepped closer to him and kissed him.
"I wouldn't mind a little asistence."
Thawne said through the coms.
" We'll continue this later now we have to run."
Savitar ran first and of course the reaction from the team was golden.
" Savitar how the hell are you alive? Where are y/n and Sherloque ?!"
" He is in the pipeline and as for y/n... She's right here."
As he said it I ran beside him with lightning sparkling around me.
" Hello team Flash."
" Y/n? What is this... You are working with them?"
The disbelief and disappointment was clear in Barry's voice.
" For two years you've been sidelining me, preventing me from using my powers to help. So now don't be surprised that I switched teams cause there's no way I will be standing in the background anymore. This... This is one hell of a team. And you won't be able to stop us. "
"I suggest we get out of here And let them come to terms with it."
" See you soon Flash."
You, Savitar and Eoboard took off. Leaving three different colors of lightning and very stunned and betrayed team Flash behind you...

Tumblr media
It started with an explosion. Oddly enough. One night that set off a chain reaction of events for your bizarre new life. One you could never imagine. A wave of dark matter bathed the city. Bathing you. And unknown to you, a spider precariously landed on your shoulder the exact moment the wave hit you. Your DNA meshed with the spider. Although, you didn’t know until days later after that night.
It started with your senses. Heightened. Stronger. Lights and noises brighter and louder. Secondly, your skin would crawl as if warning you from any danger. Such as in the park when a Frisbee nearly hit the back of your head, but you easily ducked well before it could have tried. The third and final change you noted was a true shocker. You woke up one morning and in need of breakfast so you obviously opened the fridge in search of food when you ripped off the door on the hinges. Your hand stuck to the handle as you waved the fridge door around with ease as contents spilled out. Hitting cabinets and knocking over chairs and tables. After that fiasco, you tested out your … stickiness … by pressing your hands then feet against your apartment wall. And sure enough you climbed up and stood on your ceiling staring at the upside down room.
Soon, you had the insane idea of swinging. With webs. Like a spider. Now with an analytical mind as yourself, you worked at Mercury Labs for mechanics and engineering. You easily could create something. So, you did. Developing this invention with many failed prototypes. A common problem in the beginning was finding a way to stick to any surface and hold your weight. A grappling hook would not do you justice. You wanted a tool to have more uses. A truly tricky problem. But, after casually asking colleges, you found your answer in chemistry. Thus, your web-shooters were invented. Perfect in almost every way.
Although, you weren’t ready to leap off any building. You did minor tests at a junkyard. The tensile strength of your material was outrageous. It was nearly breakable and withheld any weight. And most importantly, it dissolved with time. The city didn’t needed to be bathed with silly strings.
A week later, with the moon high in the sky, you stood on the edge of your rooftop apartment. You peered over the edge. Cars drove through the crisscross pattern of the city. Horns honked. Yet, the wind drowned them. You glanced to the adjacent building. Firing a web, it landed perfectly. Nothing would break it. Yet, you still tugged on it. Definitely secured.
What the hell am I doing? You stepped up onto the ledge. Your heart pounded against your chest. You peered over the edge once more. Vertigo flooded your body. Oh fuck it!
You jumped.
Swinging like a pendulum. Smiling and hollering. You stuck against the side of the building. In between two windows staring down at the busy nightlife below. Your eyes streamed with tears from the intense wind. At least you had one good idea of wearing a ski mask to hide your identity. Your face didn’t needed to be plastered all over the news as some insane thrill seeker. Which then proved to be a wonderful coincidence.
A shout along with struggling reached your perceptive ears. Confused, you crawled over to the side of the building facing an alleyway to find a woman fighting off a man. Without think, you dropped down.
“Hey!”
The pair froze. The man had the woman’s wrists clamped in his grasp. Unable to escape. Her eyes filled with tears. The man eyed you up and down. You wearing a ski mask while wearing sweatshirt and pants. Not exactly intimidating.
“Who the hell are you?” he growled.
“Uh … someone here to stop you,” you said with more confidence on the end. You puffed your chest with your hands on your hips.
He scoffed. “Yeah, okay. How about you get out of here before I kick your ass, alright?”
“No, I don’t think so.”
He glared. He released the woman and she scrambled away. The man stalked towards you. He pulled out a pocket knife aiming the blade at you. “I’m going to enjoy cutting you into small pieces.”
He lunged forward. Yet, you easily dodged to the side. He lunged again. You dodged. He growled trying again. You quickly disarmed him. Surprising yourself and the man. The man rushed forward but you leapt over him sticking to the wall. Again surprising yourself and the man. He stared at you dumbfounded. You turned around facing the man. Back against the wall, your feet and hands effortlessly stuck to the wall. A wide smirk hidden under your mask. You fired a web pinning his wrist to the alley wall.
“What the hell? What is this stuff?” He struggled to break free. But, couldn’t. You jumped down and strolled towards him. Now, he froze in fear. “What the hell are you?”
A new idea settled into your mind. A purpose. “Someone here to stop people like you. So, I suggest you clean up your act or I will find you and next time I won’t be so forgiving.”
Months later, you created your own suit. Although, you went through multiple of designs before you had it. Your suit insulated to keep you warm against the whipping wind. Your gloves and shoes relatively thin so you could still stick to walls. Grey colored your chest and your arms with thin white lines creating a spider web design and directly in the middle of your chest was a black spider symbol. While black blocked off your sides continuing downward covering your bottom half giving the allusion of pants. Your web shooters strapped tightly around your wrists. Sleek goggles perched your forehead while you pulled up material around your neck up over your nose. Concealing your identity. All of it dark. Sleek. And oh so comfortable. The only blimp in your slim design was the tactical leg strap pocket. Obviously for your phone and extra web fluids.
You became a superhero. Spiderwoman, to be exact. Believing you might be the only one. But, a month later a red streak appeared in the city. Another person with a gift.
Whispers of another meta wondered to Barry. A woman. Spiderwoman, if he remembered correctly. However, he was having trouble finding you. His world was on the streets while you loomed from above swinging from building to building. Luckily, he finally found you. Or more accurately stumbled upon you at a crime scene in a museum. You stood over the unconscious burglar with his hands bound in your webs. The whoosh of wind caused you to turn around.
The man in red, or dubbed The Flash, stared at the man then to you. You smiled but it was hidden under your mask. You perched your goggles on your forehead to get a better look at the speedster. “Flash? Right? Hi, I don’t think we ever met yet.” You glanced to the man. “Sorry, I kind of beat you to this one.”
“No, no that’s okay. Um, it’s Spiderwoman, right?”
“Yup.”
“Um, hi.” He extended his hand out towards you.
“Hi.” You happily accepted his hand. “You look like you have something on your mind.” You noted his jittering stance.
He dropped your hand and nodded. “Yeah, I actually was wondering if you wanted to come back to STAR labs with me. It’s where my team and I are set up. I think we have something we need to tell you.”
“That the explosion from STAR labs caused people to gain superpowers. Yeah, it’s kinda of obvious. I was normal before that and now I’m not.”
“Yeah …” He shuffled in place. “I also wanted to know if you wanted to join me. Help me protect Central City. Seeing how we already are individually it’ll be more beneficial if we joined forces.”
“Join you? Have a team with a headquarters? Um … hell yeah.” You laughed.
The Flash laughed along with you.
From that night on, you worked with the Flash – or Barry Allen as you learned – along with Cisco Ramon, Caitlin Snow, and Harrison Wells. They were impressed with your abilities and your intellect. Cisco was particularly fond of your web-shooters. You fit well with the team. You and Barry trained together. You and Cisco bonded over inventions. And you and Caitlin formed a beautiful friendship as she tried to understand the capacity of your powers and the change in your DNA. Yet, there was one person in particular you grew closest with. Harrison Wells. He was enthralling. You always admired the head of STAR labs.
“Why didn’t you try to apply here? I would have gladly accepted a brilliant mind like yourself,” Harrison stated one day.
You shrugged. “I was too late. Positions were filled.”
“Well, at least you’re here now.” He smiled causing you to blush.
With time, the two of you started dating. It was magical. Every moment with him was amazing. He captivated your entire being. You gave him everything and more. He had you wrapped around his finger. All at the simplest smile, at the smallest look, at the tiniest touches. You thought everything would be perfect. But, nothing good ever lasts.
On a random night, Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin were heading home. You were going to follow them but you wanted to see Harrison. To ask him a question. Searching STAR labs, you saw Harrison wheeling down the hall. He stopped in the middle. Near the wall. Something told you to hide. Pressing your back a doorway, you peered over watching as Harrison placed his hand on the wall. It glowed blue then peeled open. And he wheeled in. The wall sealed behind him.
You rushed forward and stared at the blank wall. Your senses told you to run. Told you to not go inside. But, you had to. You had questions. You needed answers. Pressing your hand in the same spot as Harrison’s, the wall opened up.
“What the hell?” You mumbled stepping further into the hidden room. The menacing yellow suit encased behind glass was directly in front of you. Your eyes darted to Harrison. Out of his wheelchair. Standing over a podium. A blue holographic face faded from view. “Harrison, what’s … what’s going on here?”
He sighed shaking his head. Turning around, he stalked forward. Red electricity danced over his skin. One second he was in front of you and the next he was behind. His breath on the back of your neck. On instinct, you spun around firing a web. But, he wasn’t there. In seconds, he disarmed you. Tossing your web-shooters to the side. He pinned your against the bumpy wall.
Your senses screamed to fight. Yet, you still couldn’t understand what was happening. You were left frozen. Frozen as this new information slowly sunk in. Harrison Wells was the Reverse Flash.
“Oh, (Y/N),” he hummed. “Why did you follow after me?”
“I … I wanted to ask if … if you wanted to go out to dinner.” Your heart in your throat.
He smiled wickedly. “My sweet (Y/N). Always so caring.”
“What … what are you going to do to me?” Would … would he kill me?
“Well.” He hand delicately traced your face before landing on your neck. Your pulse thrummed under his fingers. A long weighted pause. Then he swiftly back away. “Nothing.”
“What?” You breathed out.
“And neither will you.”
You blinked. “What? But – but you’re –“
“The Reverse Flash. Barry’s enemy. But, also your loving boyfriend.” You clamped your mouth shut. Harrison smirked, “You see we’re a couple. We share our problems.”
“Not this!” You finally found your voice. “You killed Barry’s mom!”
“Yes, I did.” He stepped forward and lifted your chin making you stare directly at him. “But, think about your friends. When they find out their mentor and friend is the enemy … it would crush them. And you don’t want to do that to them, right?”
You stayed quiet. His words swirled in your head. He was right. But not. You should tell Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin. It was the right thing to do. Yet.
He continued, “And think about it. Once they find out they’ll be so disappointed. Not only in me but in you.”
“Me?” you meekly asked.
“Yes, because like I said we’re a couple – a team. They’ll think you’ve always known. That you aided me. That you betrayed them. And it all started the moment you set foot in here.”
“No … that’s … that’s not true.”
“Oh?” His titled his head. “How so? Even if you say you never helped me, they will always have their doubts. Always there prickling in the back of their mind.”
“But … I’m their friend.”
“And? I’m their friend, too. But, also their enemy. Once my secrets gets out then we will both be destroyed. Thrown in cells. Damned for life.” He smiled as your objection – your willpower – melted. How you started to trust him more. Trust his words. “But, if you keep it a secret then none of that will happen. You will keep your friends. You will keep saving Central City with Barry. And we can keep going on dates. Everything will be fine. Be normal.”
“Are – are you going to hurt them?” you mumbled.
“No,” he lied. “I just need something from Barry, but not yet. He’s not fast enough.”
Harrison’s – or Eobard you learned – secret was safe with you. You continued on with life. Or tried to. You didn’t feel like you. You felt like a fraud. Eobard’s words forced you forward. To keep marching on. You were his mindless robot. Moving and talking when he commanded. You wanted to tell Barry. Warn him. Warn everyone. Yet, Eobard always whispered in your ear. Sowing fears and doubt.
However, Barry figured it out for himself. He pieced it all together. Slowly, he brought everyone to his side. With you being the last one. You were the closest with Harrison. He didn’t want to break your heart. But, he had to. You had to know. You had to be part of the plan of taking down the Reverse Flash. Barry needed your help.
“(Y/N), I hate to tell you this, but Harrison –“
“Is the Reverse Flash,” you grimly finished.
He blinked. “You – you knew?”
You nodded. “Barry, I’m … I’m so sorry. I – I shouldn’t have kept it a secret. It was wrong of me, but I want to help you. Let me help, please.”
After executing the plan, Eobard was locked away in the pipeline. You hugged yourself as you watched the monitors. “Guys,” you whispered. A wave of tears spilled over. “I’m so sorry I never told you.”
“Hey, hey, hey,” Cisco walked forward placing a hand on your shoulder. “This isn’t your fault.”
“Isn’t, though? I knew.”
“No, it’s not.”
“I aided a criminal!” You stepped out of Cisco’s grip. “Aided the man who killed Barry’s mom! Standing aside knowing his secret and doing nothing, I’m just as bad as him. I’m – I’m an accessory!”
“(Y/N), I don’t blame you.” Barry walked to you. “Do you really think you belong in the same cell as him?”
Once my secrets gets out then we will both be destroyed. Thrown in cells. Damned for life. Your lip trembled. “I – I …”
“Because I don’t.”
“He … he said we were a couple. That his problems were mine.” You muttered. “That once you found out you would hate me. Blame me.”
Barry enveloped you in a hug. Immediately, you hugged him back as a sob escaped. “I don’t hate you. And I never will,” he said.
Later that night, you snuck downstairs. You peered out from behind the entrance. Eobard’s back to you. He was looking over Cisco’s blueprints for his time sphere. His escape. He’ll be gone forever.
“Are you going to keep hiding?” Eobard spun around looking at you. You hesitantly stepped out. With every step forward, it felt like a march to the devil. A march to death. He smiled, “I’m so happy you decided to visit me.”
You crossed your arms staying silent. Avoiding his piercing gaze.
“Oh, don’t be like that. Talk to me.”
“I – I don’t have anything to say to you.” You said finally making eye contact.
“You do.” He leaned against the glass. “Or why else would you come down here?”
“To say goodbye.”
He smirked. “Is it though?”
Your eyebrows knitted together. “Yes. It is.”
“For now. But, we’ll see each other again. We’re destined to be together.”
“No. We’re not.”
“Yes, we are. This will not be the last time you see me. Time is really fickle.”
You marched forward. The glass pane the only thing separating the two of you. His smirk widen. “Goodbye, Eobard,” you said and left.
“They’ll never trust you, (Y/N)! We’re tied together you’ll see me again! It’s not goodbye, but a se you soon!”
Eobard died. Or so you thought. He was right. Time was a fickle thing. Multiverse and time travel became your norm. Eobard appeared from time to time. And his face – or the face he stole – constantly reappeared in your life. Much to your dismay. Years later, you finally came to terms with what Eobard did to you. His manipulation. His sick twisted game he played on you. And continued to do so. He haunted you. And every time you thought you saw the last of him, his name would pop back up.
After everything he did to you, you caged your heart off to love. Fearful to have a repeat. Fearful Eobard might appear out of nowhere and harm whoever. You forgot about love. Neglected it. Putting your focus on the team and whatever strange new event lurked around the corner. Currently, that would have to be the arrival of Nora – Barry’s and Iris’ daughter from the future.
Surprisingly, you and Nora grew close together. Both of you sharing similar interests. Two dorks bonding over the geeky things. “Wait, wait, so you invented these?” Nora stared at your web-shooters in awe.
“Yup.”
“Can I try them out?”
The thought of Barry and Iris crossed your mind. For a second. You shrugged, “Why not.”
Which was your famous last words. Barry, Iris, Cisco, Caitlin, and Ralph strolled into the Cortex to see Nora tangled into your webs hanging upside down while you were in tears laughing on the ground. Nora flayed around trying to wriggle free.
“Come on, (Y/N), help me out,” Nora whined, but she couldn’t help to laugh too. Her eyes wondered over to the team. “Dad! Mom! Help me, please!”
“What the heck (Y/N)?” Ralph huffed. “You let Nora try your web-shooters, but I can’t?”
You slowly stood up stilling giggling as you wiped away the tears. “Ralph, your arms can do the same thing as my web-shooters.” More giggled rose as Nora spun in a circle.
“Well, yeah … but it’s not entirely the same.”
“Ok, can anyone cut me down now? Please,” Nora begged.
However, another face would be added to the team. A familiar face. Another version of Harrison Wells. No matter how many versions you see or get to know, it always hurts. Always. And it was an exhausting process to try to let your guard around them. To trust again. This Wells was named Sherloque Wells. A detective called to help the team against the newest foe: Cicada. A man killing metas.
You were to join the team in the loft. A place nobody noticed until Nora pointed it out. And Joe was not too pleased his hideaway was taken from him. You strolled down the hallway and peered inside finding the team all sitting at the counter while the newest Wells danced around the kitchen.
Your heart skipped a beat. Fearful? Yes. So many memories attached to that face. So many painful memories. Yet, the faintest flutter of attraction hummed through you. And you hated it. Hated how Eobard manipulated you, hated how he used you and twisted your love for his advantage, hated how every new Harrison Wells was a jab into your heart.
Inhaling, you stepped in. Walls built high against an innocent man. You grabbed the seat on the end next to Cisco. Head bowed, you played with your nails. Sherloque whirled around the team rattling off little deductions. Unveiling secrets. Clearly, no one was thrilled by this. Iris was about to cut him off when his sights landed on you.
“Ah, and who do we have here?” His French accent sharp and thick. Your eyes slowly slid up. Sherloque made his way over standing a little too close for comfort. “And what is your name, mon cherie?”
“(Y/N) … (Y/N) (Y/L/N),” you answered.
“(Y/N), what a lovely name.” He circled around leaning on the counter staring directly into your eyes. But, you quickly avoided eye contact. “But, why do you avoid looking at me? Perhaps I remind you of a former –“
“Don’t finish that sentence.” Rage flared up. Rage always saved for Eobard. Saved for the face of Harrison Wells. Glaring, you pointed a finger at him. “Now, you’re here to catch a killer not deduce secrets from us so I suggest you get to work.”
He clamped his mouth shut. Everyone silently pleased that you stopped the detective from going any further. However, they all sympathized with you. Pity in their eyes. Expect for Nora. Years away from Eobard and the wound still fresh for you. You glanced to the other. You hated how they stared at you. Years of this pity, and you hated almost every moment of it.
You briskly walked away. “Call me if you need me.”
You ran off to your own personal training room. A warehouse room used for storage converted for you. Posts of different lengths and widths scattered around the room perfect to swing on, leap from, or balance on. Targets popped out of the ground, ceiling, walls, or said posts. While a control room built high near the ceiling overlooked the entire space. It was vast. Making it perfect for you. Although, Barry came in here from time to time to use your place to test his agility weaving in and out of objects.
But, you weren’t training. Merely hiding. Or more accurately avoiding. You created a hammock with your webs which hung from the ceiling. Your mind clouded with thoughts of every version of Harrison Wells.
You think I would learn. That it would be easier with each new face. But it never is. Eobard Thawne made sure to make your life difficult. The madman still plagued your mind. You wished he would vanish. But, the slick speedster always found a way to pop back into your life. Damn time travel and the multiverse.
“Do you always run away after confronting the face of a former lover?”
You flinched. Peering over the side down below stood Sherloque staring up at you. His smirk wide.
You glared. “Leave.”
“No, as they say curiosity is a cruel mistress, and I must admit you have sparked my curiosity deeply.”
“You know I could throw your ass across the room.”
“You could, but you won’t,” he pointed out. “Now, s’il vous plait, would you come down? I have a few questions to ask.”
You huffed. “I think you already know the answers to your questions, detective.”
“Assumptions, deductions, but not answers.”
“Will you leave me alone afterwards?”
“Possible.”
Fuck, this man. You leapt out of your hammock landing in a low crouch. Slowly standing up, you crossed your arms. “Ask away then.”
He smiled. Eyes sparkled in delight. “Now, I see here you are already so defensive. And I still want to know if I am correct as to why. Did you fall in love with one of my doppelgangers?”
“Yes.” You said through clenched teeth.
“So hostile. I assumed it ended poorly. But, I still continue to wonder who?” He circled around you. “Your friends offered little information but their body language said it was a former friend. Someone close who betrayed them. Their eyes filled with sorrow and hatred.”
“Just ask your damn question.”
He hovered in front of you. “Was it the Reverse Flash?”
“Yes.”
“Ah,” he hummed. “No wonder you have a resentment towards me.”
“Are you done?”
“No, clearly it wasn’t a healthy –“
Tired of his prying questions, you shot a web at him. Landing directly over his mouth silencing him. Your eyes cold and deadly. Your head held high. Sherloque had to admit how intimidated he felt. And slightly aroused.
You pointed at him. “Stop. I know you have all of your answers. You are just flexing your deductive skills and taking pleasure uncovering my secrets.” You sighed dropping your finger. “Yes, it wasn’t completely healthy. Yes, I was in love with him. Alright? Are you satisfied?”
Sherloque studied you. Your façade cracked for a second. The scared woman cowering underneath.
You growled. “Are you satisfied?”
He quickly nodded.
“Good.” You whirled around and walked away. You heard muffled noises. Glancing over your shoulder, Sherloque gestured to his mouth. You rolled your eyes as a smirk twitched on your lips. “It dissolves. Within a few hours. Think of it as a lesion to not going prying into people’s past.”
Minutes later, Sherloque stepped into the Cortex seeing Barry, Cisco, Ralph, and Caitlin mingling around. Iris was at work following a story. Also luckily for him, you and Nora went to Big Belly Burger to pick up lunch for everyone. Cisco glanced over and snorted. Ralph followed Cisco’s eyes and chuckled as well. Sherloque tried to act sophisticated as if webs didn’t cover the bottom half of his face. He cocked an eyebrow at the pair.
“I think you deserved that,” Cisco giggled.
“Oh, yeah, he definitely did,” Ralph added.
Barry and Caitlin looked to Sherloque staring in shock. “Hold on,” Caitlin rushed off to the med-bay to grab a scalpel.
Cisco crossed his arms very amused with this. “So, what did you do?”
Sherloque rolled his eyes.
“Did you bug (Y/N) with your little deductions?”
He didn’t move. Then slowly nodded.
“Well thank god she did it.”
Caitlin returned and carefully cut off the webs. Sherloque opened and closed his mouth glad to have it functioning again. He cleared his throat, “Does she do that to most people?”
“Only the ones who annoy her,” Caitlin said.
“Yeah, I’ve had my fair share of webs to the face,” Ralph sighed in memory.
“And why am I not surprised, baby giraffe,” Sherloque muttered.
“Well, I wouldn’t be too smug about it French man we’re in the same boat.”
Sherloque grumbled.
A little bit later, you and Nora arrived with food. Your combined giggles echoed down the hall. You walked in with a massive smile on your face as Nora rattled off a hilarious story. Big Belly Burger bags in hand, you placed them on the desk. Everyone flocked in grabbing their orders.
Yet, Sherloque stayed back. Watching as you chuckled and whispered something to Nora. She laughed shaking her head. Sherloque liked your smile, your laugh. Watching you now was like studying a whole different person. You were carefree, joking, kind, and always smiling. Simply yourself. And thinking back to an hour ago, Sherloque started to feel awful. Maybe he stroked his ego a bit too much. Maybe he wanted to talk to you more and that was all he knew how. Through invasive deductions.
You plopped a fry into your mouth laughing as Ralph and Cisco stuffed their faces.
Sherloque walked over and tapping your shoulder. You spun around. Your smile faltered as a slight glare settled into your eyes. “Yes?” you asked.
“Can I talk to you? Out in the hallway?” he asked. “S’il vous plait, it will be no more than a minute.”
You rolled your eyes. “Fine. Lead the way, detective.”
In the hall, you leaned on the wall with your arms crossed. Sherloque sighed, “I wish to apologize for my behavior.”
You blinked. Arms now dangled at your side. “What?”
“I was rude and I apologize. I hope we can start over.”
You eyed the man then sighed. “Yeah, yeah, we can. We’re going to be working together and I don’t see why I should hold a grudge forever. Besides, you’re not the first Wells I was a bit hostile to. Better to be civil then constantly at each other’s throats.” You mumbled at the end, “Harry eventually agreed to that.”
“Merci,” he smiled.
Your lips twitched upwards. “Also you still have a bit of webs right here.” You pointed at your lower chin. A single giggle escaped as Sherloque touched it making his hand stuck to his face. “Well, you still have another hour or so before it’s gone. Good luck with that,” you shook your head smiling as you walked away. Leaving Sherloque alone in the hallway with a smile that would never leave his lips.
