Rock Hunting. The Human Condition.

This weekend I drove six hours to meet some friends for camping, and on saturday we went to a claim to look for amethysts and agates. For a few hours, there were four grown ass people (and one dog) digging in the dirt, occasionally calling: "look at this cool rock I found!" It was fun and it was satisfying - and I felt deeply connected to the thousands of generations of humans finding and enjoying pretty rocks. 10/10, highly recommend!
