Well you did warned that “Too Much To Ask” was sad, but I ended up bawling (“He was alone, alone, alone” hit me baaaad) So anyway thanks, it was very good fic, poor Ezio
Oh! I'm sorry that it made you cry, please accept these stickers as my apology.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No, all jokes aside, I'm glad that it did, because it means that I did a good job in expressing what Ezio was feeling.
Earlier that day I played the mission of "the incident" for a second time and (for some reason) the scene hit me way harder than the first time. Probably because now I know how lonely Ezio (as well as Claudia and Maria) will feel in the following years and how dedicated Ezio is in avenging his family.
(I actually wanted to add another scene where Ezio finds a crying Claudia and then they cry together - because Ubisoft really did them and their brother-sister-relationship dirty - but I thought that it was already sad enough haha. Maybe another chapter? I guess we'll see.)
Even just writing this OS made me sad ("He was alive, alive, alive." and "He was alone, alone, alone." hit me bad as well, because it shows how perfectly conflicted Ezio feels about still being alive and now having the responsibility about his mother and sister, while at the same time not really getting any time to mourn his father and brothers and having to get his surviving family away as quickly as possible but having no idea how and where - man just thinking about it makes me sad again), so thanks for reading through it!
Sometimes we all need a good cry :)

ASSASSIN'S CREED AO3 SERIESES
Tumblr media
EVERYTHING FROM ASSASSIN'S CREED
Ezio Auditore da Firenze
Jacob Frye
Ratonhnhaké:ton/Connor Kenway
(Any of the other characters don't have any requests written nor pending as for now, so I'm unable to have serieses for them as AO3 requires you to have at least one oneshot written to be able to add it to a series, and I can't promise serieses for characters who don't have requests pending/I have no ideas of my own for them)
For anyone who's concerned, THESE ARE NOT ONESHOT COLLECTIONS, they are made using AO3's "series" feature.
If you want to be informed about new fics for Assassin's Creed or its individual characters, create an AO3 account and subscribe or bookmark any of those serieses listed above. There are buttons at the top right corner for those, or on top on mobile. I do not do Tumblr taglists anymore.
Also, if you're wondering, requests are ALWAYS open and you're welcome to leave one or multiple. Just remember to read my rules and pick a request type from this list.

May I ask about #13 on the list?
Of course, nonny!
no 13 from the List of AC Fic Ideas I have at the moment:
13. Desmond meets other AC protags (Altaïr being a dick)
(note: in this fic idea, Desmond doesn't know how to speak any other language than English for more shenanigans)
Before Desmond could use the device, the Eye starts creaking and shit
The following gets transported
Altaïr Ezio Connor Edward Aveline Frye Twins Arno Ade
Desmond’s like wtf
But at the same time, holy shit
Desmond being hey, hey Ezio (points at self) Desmond! Dessmmoonndd
Ezio being DESMOND? MY DESMOND???????
Evie about to pass out because OH MY GOD! It's Ezio Auditore and Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad! OH MY GOD! ARE YOU SEEING THIS JACOB? JACOB!!! (Stop hitting me, Evie! Yes! I see them! Ow!)
(insert Edward and Connor moment here)
(NOTE: Take Arno from Dead Kings, NOT base game. Apple is better than sword and we do not want to deal with the whole Elise dumb dying thing.)
Desmond trying to organize the Assassins.
Team English
Desmond Connor Aveline Frye twins Edward Ade
Team French
Ezio Arno
Altaïr staring at all of them as they try to communicate for a few minutes with Aveline being the only French/English speaker so she's translating everything before finally showing he understands ENGLISH AND FRENCH
Desmond: Oh, you dick
Altaïr admitting it's strange that he understands their French and English and is also speaking their French and English
They realize it's ISU bullshit (would be nice if it gave everyone a way to speak to each other like a universal translator but the Isus are bigger dicks than Altaïr)
Ends:
All of them came from a period where they were using an ISU artifact.
They use their ISU tech to help Desmond not die.
They remain in the present???
Ends with Desmond being oh no
Dude, keep this a oneshot or you know you're gonna end up writing Desmond x everybody.
Add to End Notes when posting:
Hey, teecup. Where's Shay???
Okay. Serious talk. I was thinking if I should include Shay but I realize that the only point that we know Shay held a POE was in Portugal before the earthquake so we'll get Assassin!Shay who has no idea that he became a turncoat. Another thing is that if I added Shay, there will have to be a conflict between him and Arno and that would have turned this entire thing more serious and I just wanted to write something fun.
Also...
I made this for this idea:

Rules: (in your own post, not mine) Post the names of the files of your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you asks with the title that mosts intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it. If you want, tag as many people as you have WIPS.
Soooo....I don't so much have a WIP's folder as I do a whole thumb drive of stuff im writing, most of it with no intention of actually making into a fanfic atm, but I suppose if there's interest I could focus on some of them a bit more. So!
A: 'Chasing Shadows' Selkie Desmond AU with EziDes
B: 'Gotta Be Somebody For Me Out There' Jacob/Desmond Modern AU
C: 'Halo' (EziDes time-travel (possible one-shot))
D: Oneshot based off 'Angel With A Shotgun'- Desmond/Altair/Ezio/Ratonhnhaké:ton
E: 'Devil's Game' Demon Desmond AU (AltDes)
F: Federico/Clay Companion one-shot smut fic for 'We Were Born For This'
G: Jacob/Federico, EziDes, time-travel one-shot- Sabatoging the Auditore execution.
H: Technically, 'We Were Born For This' is a WIP...so I guess people can ask questions about that too? (I will give spoilers if you want, but don't get mad after!)
And I'll tag anyone who wishes to participate! (I don't know how many followers write)
(Forgot to add, most of these are idea's and vague outlines only, not actually 'written' yet.)

Ship - Embers!Shao Jun x Auditore!Male reader
Oneshot - Comfort Love
Rating - Mature
Fluff, Strong Language and Lemon
Description - After Shao came to the Auditore homestead and while staying at the homestead she talks to the oldest Auditore child, Y/n. After Shao and Y/n confess their feelings to each other they then have sex. Later Ezio walk in on them sleeping but knows what they did but leaves it for the morning but he does tell Sofia.
Tumblr media
[Shao's POV]
It's been a few days since you've arrived at the Auditore homesteading but you're settling in fine.
You're just talking to Flavia Auditore the second oldest by her older brother, Y/n.
Shao: So Flavia...
Flavia: Yes?
Shao: How old is your brother?
Flavia: He's 19... Why?
Shao [Curious]: 19? That's the same age I am... Was he born in 1505 by any chance?
Flavia [Curious]: Sí... So you're the same age as Y/n?
Shao: Yeah. I've haven't met him yet though.
Flavia: I can bring him her if you two want to meet each other properly.
Shao: Alright... Go get him.
Flavia [Excited]: Be right back!
Flavia runs to Y/n and see him petting one of the horses and brings him to you but before she leaves she tells him something before going into the homestead.
Y/n: Hey...
Shao: Hi, I'm guessing you're Y/n?
Y/n: Yeah, Shao right?
Shao [Struggling]: Sí...
Y/n: Still struggling with Italian?
Shao: Yeah... So confusing.
Y/n: I can help you if you want... I was raised on it.
Shao [Nods]: Alright, but Y/n?
Y/n: Sí?
Shao: I need to tell you something later, ok?
Y/n: Yeah ok.
Few hours later, [Y/n's POV]
You been teaching Shao Italian for the last few hours, slowly but surely she's getting the hang of it.
Y/n: There you got it.
Shao: Thanks for helping. But Y/n?
Y/n: Sí, what is it?
Shao: It might be better if I show you...
Y/n: Ok [Nods] Ok
Shao leans in to you and starts kissing you but you lean in too and start kissing Shao but soon the kiss becomes heated and you push Shao down but before it continues you break away and you both catches you're breath and you say to her.
Y/n: Want to take this to my room before we get caught?
Shao: [Nods] Yeah...
Y/n: Hold on.
You pick up and carry Shao; she yelps when she got picked by you and carry her to your room and you close it.
You and Shao begin to make out again but also stripping yourselves from each other's clothing and you nip at a certain spot on Shao's neck making her release a moan from her.
Shao: [Moans]... Right there, Y/n... [Moans]
You continue your motions at the same spot but undos Shao's bra; showing her small but somewhat big breasts. You remove you mouth from where you were nipping Shao at and beginning groping Shao's breasts with your hands and nipples with your mouth naking her moans go high pitch but you cover her mouth quickly saying.
Y/n: Shh... Don't want anyone to know what we were doing in here, right?
Shao: Sí.
Y/n: Bene... Now stay quiet.
Shao nods and you continue to drive her crazy until both her breasts and nipples are bright red. You grip Shao's panties abd you look at her saying.
Y/n: You sure you want this?
Shao: Yes... Very much so. Just pull out before you cum.
Y/n: Alright.
You pull Shao's panties off showing you a full view of her pussy and you also pull off you underwear with your dick showing.
Shao: Fuck...
Y/n: Shh... We'll take it slow. Let me put it in.
Shao: Ok, [Nods].
You thrust into Shao with your dick making her groan and whine in discomfort and pleasure; breaking her virgin walls.
You wait until she's comfortable and gives you single to start thrusting into her. She nods singling you to move and you do, making her moan in pleasure.
While thrusting into her you take her right nipple into your mouth. Shao's eyes roll back into her head with her release close.
Shao: [Moans] Y/n I'm gonna... [Moans] Cum!
Y/n: Go ahead, baby girl...
Shao cums at the nickname you gave her throwing her over the edge. You're not to far behind Shao, you pull out last second and Shao sucks you off making you release in her mouth and she swallows your cum.
You pull the covers to let yourself and Shao sleep but before sleep consumes you and Shao; you both kiss goodnight.
[Ezio's POV]
You and Sofia just put Flavia asleep and you haven't seen much of Y/n or Shao today not since at least dinner at 4 and it's now 10:55, you turn to Sofia and say.
Ezio: Sofia what don't you head to bed I'll check Y/n's room to see if either Y/n and/ or Shao is there.
Sofia: Alright Ezio, See you in the morning.
You head to Y/n's room with the door closed and you start to open it saying.
Ezio: Weird, Y/n usually has his door open a crack maybe he's out for tonight-
You cut yourself off to see Y/n and Shao in bed sleeping but you look down at the floor seeing clothes scattered about. They both fuckedb no doubt about that, you and them are having a serious talk in the morning but for now your gonna let them sleep.
You head to yours and Sofia's room and you lie down and fall asleep wonsering what transpired to the gaving sex with each other.

“You need to hit harder, Y/N.” Ezio reflected your blade effortlessly.
“I don’t want to hurt you by mistake.”
“Who says you’ll hurt me?” He smirked, twirling his sword with a flair.
You nodded in affirmation, and began to hail a stronger assault. Although it wasn’t enough to overwhelm Ezio, it was certainly stronger than before.
On a defensive hit, his sword sent yours flying across the training ground. “A better effort, mi amico,” he nodded approvingly.
“Pfft.” You scoffed, going to pick up your discarded weapon. In the seconds you weren’t looking, an unknown force came into contact with your back, sending you flying to the floor and away from your sword. You laid still when you felt a blade come into contact with the back of your neck.
“Mario is sending you on a mission which I don’t agree with. Personalmente, you do not have the experience. So you need to be ready, Y/N, or you will get hurt.”
When he was finished, you grabbed his wrist and forcefully brought the heel of your boot into his back. It allowed you to move the blade away from your neck. With Ezio’s balance compromised, you pushed into him until he hit the ground beside you, your arm pressing against his neck and pinning his arm beside him.
“I think I’ll be fine, Ezio.” You released him and offered a hand to help him up before readying your retrieved blade.
“Ora, un altro?”
----------
As the sun began to set, approached the site that overran itself with Templars. Your target was the Captain, who was hiding in the area. Although it was littered in ruins, you knew the general location of him, and you were ready to bring an end to his havoc. There is rarely a proper way to prepare one to end another’s life, and normally you would avoid it at all costs, but when the end of one life could bring freedom to many, it was hard to debate the argument of life for someone so evil.
Slowly, you weaved your way in between pillars. There were so many ways you could lose the upper hand, and so you kept vigilant when you moved. As you peered around the column, you saw him. He was patrolling with four other guards, and after assessing the situation, you weighed your options:
You could use a throwing knife on your target and a smoke bomb to distract.
To be more accurate, you could use a smoke bomb and charge in, hidden blade unsheathed.
“Assassino!”
Oh, great.
As guards unsheathed their swords and crossbows, you pointed your gauntlet at your target and let a bullet fly. As soon as the bang erupted in the air, you felt something pierce your abdomen, the force of it sending you backwards to the ground.
Although your target got hit in the neck, you were equally as compromised in your side.
Before they could get too close, you scrambled to your feet and vaulted over a small wall, keeping your hand pressed against the wound on your waist. You kept obstacles between you and your opponents, knowing that the only way to survive was to escape. As you reached the edge of the ruins, you spotted a horse grazing on some hay. Wasting no time, you mounted the white mare, kicking your heels into her ribs as she took off towards the city.
You had one hand holding the reins as the other reached for the foreign object embedded in your muscle; it was an arrow. Grasping the shaft, you snapped it in half, wincing as it shifted under your skin.
As you reached the city, you began to turn harsh corners to stay out of your pursuers’ line of sight. Once you deemed it far enough away, you dismounted and hit your stolen steed on the flank, making sure she fled through the streets. Eyeing a side alley, you slipped between flailing drunkards before turning one last corner, fully out of sight. Moving like you had had caused the arrowhead to move, and in doing so your robes were coloured more with crimson than with its original white. You slid down against the wall clutching your wound, needing to slow the world as it spun around you. The adrenaline was wearing off and the pain was increasing tenfold. Feeling the blood soak your palm, you toyed with the idea of pulling it out to save your flesh from tearing more (or to bring death faster).
You knew you had to get back to Tiber Island, but you were sure that you’d draw too much unwanted attention to yourself if you took the main roads, and would almost certainly collapse without a horse. You rested your head against the bricks, willing an idea to pop into your clouded brain.
Small thuds beside you caught your attention, and you turned your head to see a group of thieves land next you. One of them, who was probably the one in charge, pulled your hood off your head, taking in your features; pale, sweaty, barely conscious. “It’s Y/N!” He exclaimed. His eyes turned to the others. “Riccardo, get Ezio. Tell him that we’re bringing him to La Volpe Addormentata. Sbrigatevi!” One of the leanest nodded his head and took off running down the alleys. “Ora,” he spoke softer now. “Aiutami con lui.”
Two of them grabbed your arms and lifted you to your unsteady feet. The movement stretched your side. “Agh!” Your legs buckled, and your sudden dead weight pulled everyone to their knees.
“Mio Dio,” the leader uttered. “You! Get a horse!” You heard as feet thundered against cobblestones. “Y/N, you must move.” You looked at him in anguish; he seemed twice your age, and had a fatherly look of trust in his eye.
“Non posso…” The crimson had spread from your waist and was not being absorbed by the fabric anymore, dripping onto the ground.
“Yes, you can; just to the main street.” You could vaguely hear horses in front of you at the end of the alley.
You took a deep breath, calming yourself, before you nodded weakly, head hanging low. Step by step, you were half dragged to the mouth of the alleyway. Someone was already mounted on the horse as you were being hoisted in the saddle. It was a mercenary, much bigger than you, and you held on tight to the saddle with one hand as you were sent off galloping down the street, a small entourage following you. With every bump in the saddle, an ache pounded in your head; you were having trouble keeping awake, but the harsh movements wouldn’t let you go under.
You weren’t very aware of your surroundings when the horse came to a stop. Sitting firm, you waited for the mercenary behind you to dismount, and you attempted to follow suit. Tripping in the stirrups, the impact of the floor sent your mind reeling, your foot getting trapped in the metal. Pain radiated through your body as you fell on the protruding arrow shaft. Groaning, you weakly pushed yourself up to your hands and knees, dazed and confused. “Andiamo, ragazzo.” Multiple hands heaved you off of the dirt ridden paths, hauling you up the stairs and into the Thieves’ Headquarters.
“La Volpe!” The hooded man revealed himself by the entrance.
His eyes assessed the situation in a second. “Bring him into the back.” People parted quickly to make space for you all to make it through. “Put him on the table.” You were turned to sit down, before slowly being lowered to lie against the wood.
Finally being out of the streets and safe in your surroundings, you allowed yourself to relax, to close your eyes, to maybe spend a few moments asleep…
“Y/N.” Someone patting your cheek got your eyes to reluctantly open. “Leonardo and Ezio are here.”
Leonardo?
You swallowed thickly, not having the energy to respond other than letting your head roll to the side. As they came in, you could half-make out what they were saying. “Those doctors… will be of no use to us… I know my way around a wound.” It was Leonardo, rambling on as he was gathering the relevant supplies.
You blinked, and Ezio towered above you. “Ah, amico mio, mi dispiace tanto.”
Before you could respond, a hand twisted the embedded arrow shaft. You threw your head back as you cried out, hands flying to the culprit’s hand.
“Leonardo!” Ezio chastised.
“I needed to know if it was stuck in the bone!” He quickly justified his actions, hands raising in surrender. “Take his armour off.”
Quickly, your upper robes were discarded, leaving your chest bare and your injury exposed. You heard the movement of metal tools before you felt something cold touch your skin. Looking down, you saw a small blade that touched the edge of the arrow wound. You grasped Leonardo’s wrist. “No, please…” Pain was hitting every nerve and muscle, and you desperately wished you were unconscious, but the fact that you weren’t meant you were going to feel everything, and at this point, you wanted to feel nothing.
Leonardo looked at Ezio and La Volpe. “Hold him down.”
Ezio grasped your hand with one of his before using his other one to put weight on your elbow, effectively pinning you to the table. La Volpe followed suit. “I don’t like this, Leonardo,” Ezio said, looking nervous.
The artist looked up seriously. “You don’t have to.”
You felt the blade sink into your skin. The lower half of your body was numb, but your back tried to arch at the intrusion; an attempt to get away. You were hyper aware of his fingers moving inside your flesh, poking at the metal inside you. “This type of arrow does not do too much damage, but it has hooked onto an organ.” Although Leonardo’s voice was calm, you couldn’t help but writhe. You could feel everything the arrow (and Leonardo) touched, finally managing to begin drifting in and out of consciousness, after what felt like hours of pain.
You were too tired.
You heard Leonardo bracing you for removing the arrow, but you were completely limp in Ezio and La Volpe’s grasp. You swallowed again, eyes rolling back. Your face scrunched weakly as you winced; the arrow finally relinquishing its position, too tired to scream and shout. Stifling a groan, you slightly jumped when the pressure of a fabric was being applied in place of Leonardo’s fingers. The last thing you heard before your vision blacked out was, “We’re not done yet.”
----------
There were three instances where you briefly came to since then. The first was as your wound was being bandaged. “What are his chances?” Ezio’s voice echoed in your ear.
“Of survival?” Your eyes barely opened for a second to lock with Leonardo’s. “Small.” Although his face was comforting, his words weren’t. All too quickly, you lost consciousness again.
The second time, you could feel your body moving as you were taken off the table and onto something soft but sturdy. Your head rolled to the side and your eyes opened to see Leonardo washing his hands in a basin. “Con attenzione, ora!” You felt your arm fall off the side of the platform you were being moved on. The rocking lulled you back into darkness.
You didn’t remember these instances.
The third and final time you came to, you had a hard time opening your eyes. It felt as if they had been sealed shut. An involuntary hum grew in your throat as you brought your arm up to rub your eyes. Even that simple movement left you aching for reasons you couldn’t remember yet. You brought your hand away as you opened your eyes. Looking around, your brows furrowed.
This wasn’t your bed, or your room…
Pushing yourself up, you stopped abruptly, lowering yourself back down and wincing as a searing pain spread across your side. Your hand immediately went to the source, where your fingers ran across rough fabric. Looking down, you saw that your chest was still bare, although half of your torso was covered in white bandages. Looking around, you found your robes hanging up against a wardrobe across the room, clean and repaired. Your boots were at the foot of the bed.
Trying again, you slowly sat up again, pulling the sheet off of your legs. You bent down agonisingly slowly, one arm against your side while the other grabbed your footwear. After you pulled them both on, you began lacing them up. It was at that point when the door opened.
Looking up, you saw Ezio staring at you, surprised. “Y/N, what are you doing?”
“I’m getting up.”
“You should be resting.”
“I’ve rested enough. How many days has it been?”
Ezio didn’t reply at first.
“Ezio; how many days?”
“Five.”
“That’s more than enough.”
You pushed yourself up to your feet, only for your knees to buckle and send you back down to the floor, the impact of which reverberated up to your side. You grasped the bedpost for support as your breath hitched. Footsteps approached your kneeling form, but you held your hand up to stop them. “I’m fine,” you spoke through gritted teeth. Hauling yourself back up again, you leaned heavily against the wall, your legs not used to walking after five days of disuse.
“You don’t have to pretend.” Ezio respected your need for space for a few moments, but soon moved to pull your arm over his shoulders when he saw you begin to struggle.
“... Can you take me downstairs, at least?”
He sighed, thinking out the pros and cons. “Fine. Come.”
Tentatively, you tiptoed down the stairs, careful not to make any jarring movements. Ezio held you securely to prevent you from falling, should you do so again. The sounds of people eating, drinking, and enjoying themselves filled your ears, and your eyes landed on a table with La Volpe -- standing up with one knee propped up against the bench -- Leonardo, and a few other thieves (all sitting properly). They seemed to be in deep conversation, but as La Volpe looked up and moved his attention to you, everyone else followed his gaze, smiles poking at their lips.
“Y/N! You’re awake, and… moving.” Leonardo shot Ezio a disapproving look.
“I asked him to take me here.” You motioned to sit down at the table, and Ezio helped to lower you to the bench. Steadying yourself against the table, you brought a hand up to your side as your wound twinged.
“You’re just in time for me to change your dressings.” Leonardo got up to fetch new bandages as Ezio took his place beside you.
La Volpe sat down properly. “Y/N, what happened?”
You recounted the story in detail as Leonardo worked on your side, slightly embarrassed at your inability to stay alert that night. “It was my mistake,” you finished, wincing as the bandages were pulled tight. “I should have stayed out of sight.”
“He shouldn’t have even been there,” Ezio quipped, closing one hand over a fist. “We almost lost one of our best students.”
You smirked. “I’m flattered.”
Leonardo coughed to hide his chuckle, sitting on the other side of you. “Here.” He passed you a loose shirt and a drink; you thanked him and slowly dressed, being careful not to stretch your side. Taking a sip turned into gulping down mouthfuls of the liquid, parched from not drinking for days.
“If he was one of your best students, then why did we almost lose him?” La Volpe was blunt, but he wasn’t wrong.
“Because that mission was not supposed to be for him!”
“Remember who assigned him that mission, Ezio. Your anger is misplaced.” Ezio looked between the faces at the table, huffed, and got up, heading for the backroom.
The atmosphere grew tense, and you decided to break the uncomfortable silence. “I’ll, uh, go and talk to him.” You got up slowly, holding your side, and followed where Ezio disappeared to.
You peered around the corner to see him leaning on the table, his knuckles pressing into the bloodstained wood. After a few moments of standing still, he cursed himself under his breath, punching the table beneath his hand. He walked to the other side of the table, folding his arms and leaning against it as he fell deep into thought.
You decided to knock against the wall, then. Ezio turned his head to see who it was, before smiling softly and staring back at the wall. You went to lean on the table beside him, staring at the chalkboard propped up against the barrels. “You’re blaming yourself, Ezio.” You called him out on it before he could say anything, prompting an amused scoff on his part.
“I should have pulled you out of the contract.”
You looked at him, but he still stared at the wall, seemingly too ashamed to look at you. “Why? You didn’t know what was going to happen.”
“I knew it would challenge you, but I underestimated just how dangerous it would be.”
“You know Mario wouldn’t have accepted that.”
He sighed through his nose, eyes flicking down to his boots. “I should have tried.”
“Look at me, Ezio.” His eyes moved to yours, but his head barely shifted. “I’m alive; I’m alright.”
“We’ll see.”
You squinted. “What do you mean?”
“Leonardo told me you have a bad case of idiozia, and he is not sure if it can be cured.”
You laughed, looking away. “No, me either.”
“I know something which could help, though.”
You raised an eyebrow, waiting to see what he would say before a force came into contact with the back of your head. “Ow! Bastardo…” Ezio laughed.
“Let’s rejoin the others.”

#1: “Not bad, for an assassin.”
#10: “I prefer the term… motivating.”
“The Colosseum, I see.”
Ezio hums, acknowledging you as you stand beside him, “Y/n. I presume the children have been left to Claudia.”
After being disappointed that he was aware of your presence after all, you nod, scaling the establishment with him, “She said it was no bother, while I make sure you’re still alive.”
He makes a fake sound of pain, and the two of you chuckle, “That would be my third wound from you alone, amore. I fear that the twins will grow to take after you and Claudia, with the time you spend with one another.” He smirks.
“You’ll age twofold.”
The two of you then noticed a guard posted near the ledge. Almost immediately, your faces were adorned with mischievous grins, like how it always has been.
You stalk closer, nodding at each other before grabbing either feet of the guard and throwing him off.
“Welcome back.” Ezio smiles proudly at you.
“I never left.” You shoot back, continuing the way to the top.
As you were already informed about the key Ezio needs from the actor in the Colosseum for pursuing Cesare and Rodrigo Borgia, you just assisted him in rescuing Pietro Rossi from being stabbed and poisoned. That left you eliminating the gunmen with him and then finding an area where you could watch and intervene if needed, while he went backstage to change into costumes with the recruits. The play proceeded, and once Rossi was brought down from his cross, you made use of your Hidden Guns, fending off the guards with the recruits. When you noticed their surprise at your presence, you gave a cheeky curtsy.
You, Ezio, and Rossi reached the nearest doctor once you left the Colosseum. Ezio removed himself from the costume and returned to his robes again, and afterwards, received the key to the Castel.
Suddenly, you felt eyes on you, and turn your head to see a man by the road. You were able to recall him to be one of La Volpe’s men back at the Villa during attack, the same time as Ezio voiced your thoughts and caused him to run.
He was too suspicious, making everything click in your head too fast, “Mierda… Niccolò.”
Mounting a nearby horse, you shout, “Ezio, I’m going after Volpe!”
“Wait, what!?” he staggered, pausing to gape at you.
But you weren’t able to explain as you rushed, locating both men easily. Volpe was sneaking up on Niccolò, who seemed more stupid than he usually did in your eyes that moment.
Producing a knife, you throw it to Volpe’s weapon and bring your horse between both men. Volpe stumbled, sharply glaring at you as he ran around, only to be put down when your foot flew to his face and you pinned him to the ground by positioning his arm to a discomforting position. You were vaguely aware of Niccolò asking you as you speak, “Now that I have your attention, lend me your ears, imbécil. We found the traitor.”
“What—ah!” he flinched when you pulled on his arm, “Let me go, Y/n!”
You didn’t bother reining in your anger, “This stops now! My niños have been nothing but upset because they feel a dispute between the adults! They have begun to think their father has a part in this, so don’t give me a reason to rid you of an arm, Volpe! I will not let their talents go to waste because you failed to see the snitch within your men!”
“Y/n.” you only notice Ezio’s presence then, standing over you with a gentle look on his face, “Calmati.”
Clenching your jaw, you release Volpe and face Niccolò, who was giving you a cautious but knowing look, “Provoked that part of you, didn’t he?”
You scoff humourlessly, tempted to threaten him as well, “Both of you did. You’re just as estupido if not more; if you suspect someone, they can very well suspect you! Keep completely disregarding your life and you will fall by my blade, Niccolò.”
“Molto bene.” Ezio interjects, grabbing your hand and leading you away from the two men, “Y/n and I shall return to the children. I trust the two of you have a lot to discuss.”
You went on horseback, being in silence for a moment as your temper dissipates. After a while, Ezio chuckles, “Didn't it seem like you were scolding our twins instead of our comrades with that tone?"
Giving him an incredulous look, you respond, “What tone?”
“The commanding kind.” He says, “You intimidated them.”
“I prefer the term…" you pause in thought, "motivating. It gets the job done, doesn’t it?”
Ezio nods in agreement.
Neither of you didn’t know how to feel about the fact that even before reaching the entrance of headquarters, you could hear your babies crying. You vaguely hear a “This is the only time I wish I was older than Ezio” from inside, much to your amusement.
The moment the toddlers caught sight of the two of you, they charged, stumbling half the way before being caught in you and Ezio’s arms. Your daughter was quick to cling to your neck, snuggling to your left shoulder as her cries promptly ceased. You saw your son relaxing on his father's chest, wiping his tears on his robes before he settled down. Ezio rocked him back and forth as well.
“They helped me think about how you were like as children.” Claudia joked, making the two of you laugh. “A nap is the only thing left for them to do. Excuse me.” She dismisses herself, and you eased your child into slumber.
Seemingly in a moment, you saw your son fall asleep. Ezio didn’t realize it immediately as he continues to hum a lullaby, but you let it be until he noticed your eyes on him. Together, you approach the cribs, and he asks, “What?”
A fond smile comes to your face as you eye the child in his arms, “Not bad, for an assassin.”

Prompt: Ezio wants to show the reader the rooftops at night after he returns from a long assassination.
Warnings: Fluff? None, really.
Other: First Assassin’s Creed oneshot...hope you like it!
Words: Tesoro - sweetheart | Amore - love
Author: Yulta~
You were running through the Auditore Villa when Ezio, your best friend, returned. He has been on some mission for the past few weeks, and you hadn’t seen him in a while.
As you heard him and his sister talking, and as it was around midnight they were being overly quiet. You jumped out of bed, nightgown and all, and paraded your way downstairs.
“Ezio!” You called, crossing your arms over your chest. “You come home and you don’t even say hello?”
Ezio turned to you a smile planted onto his face. “(Y/N), tesoro!” He called, opening his arms for you.
With a smirk, you ran forward, charging into his arms and wrapping yours around his neck.
He returned the hug, lifting you off the ground as he clutched you into him. “I missed you,” he murmured into your ear, gently laying you down. “Go get dressed, amore. I want to show you something.”
You nodded and headed upstairs. You ran to your room, grabbed the first outfit you could find and changed. You found your way back to Ezio, who was waiting in front of the Villa for you.
He held out his arm and you interlocked yours with his as you took you into the streets of his town. He lead you to an empty ally before stopping, “jump on,” he commanded, turning around so his back was facing you.
Without questing you leapt onto him, wrapping your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist. Ezio then proceeded to scale one of the taller buildings.
Once the two of you arrived at the top you hopped down, staring out at all of the nighttime lights.
“It’s so beautiful,” you breathed, stepping to the edge. Ezio wrapped his arms around you from behind, almost as if insuring your wouldn’t fall. You placed your hands on his, closing your eyes to take in the fresh air.
“So are you.” Ezio nuzzled his head in the crook of your neck, sending cold shivers down your spine as he whispered.
After a few minuts of comfortable silence, Ezio spoke one more time. “I love you, (Y/N).”
Your (e/c) eyes widened at his statment, though you felt relieved you didn’t have to be the firs to say it. “I love you too, Ezio.”

Soooo I had actually planned to write an one shot for Valentine's Day. Just like the one I wrote about AltMal (Altaïr x Malik) last year...
I either would have written about AltMal again or maybe EzioLeo or maybe Ghoap (or maybe even Charthur because now RDR2 has me in it's grip).
But you know what?
Apparently I missed that today is already Valentine's Day ....
I swear the days are flying by - weren't we still celebrating the New Year like last week? XD
Maybe I'll write belated Valentine's one shots, I'll see.
But for now I wish you all a very happy Valentine's Day! (And for everyone who doesn't have a Valentine to cuddle and be sweet with (like me, lol) I hope you still have fun playing your favorite video game ;))

History
Tumblr media
I was running. Faster and faster, pushing my legs as well as my lungs to compensate for my speed. I couldn’t stop. I had to keep going. Stopping meant death, and I hadn’t come all this way to die. I admit, I slipped up, but only because I could’ve sworn I saw his face. That face!
I saw a lift coming up on my left and stopped dead in my tracks, pulled out 3 throwing knives and aimed for 3 of the guards on my tail. I threw the blades as hard as I could and I turned back around. I booked it again heading for the lift. I had just grabbed the rope and hit the lever when a sword was flung against it and the rope snapped.
I was halfway up, now hurdling all the way down. My body slammed into the floor, knocking the wind out of my lungs. I gasped for air as the guards encircled me. They all pointed their weapons at me, parting by my head to let in a heavily armored man. He stood above me and pulled his sword out, pointing it at me. I pushed myself up, feeling a blade at my back. I had to be quick.
I grabbed the spear being pointed at me from my right, spinning and pulling it away from the guard who held it. I spun it around over my head and knocked a few guards. I crouched and swiped a few guards off their feet. I stood up, dropping the spear to the floor and glared at their captain who stood unwavering in front of me. I charged at him, as he stood ready for my attack. At the last second I dropped down and slid through his parted legs; my small stature giving me an advantage.
I pushed my body off the floor, flipping in the air and landing behind him, my hidden blade connecting with the side of his neck. I withdrew my blade and dropped him to the floor. The guards from before had all stood up now, some ran in fear while the rest stood their ground. I gripped a spherical object from my side pouch and threw it to the ground in front of me. The cloud of smoke swallowed me up as the guards charged me. I threw my hands forward, connecting my hidden blade to the faces of 2 guards. I retracted the blades and turned around. I was about to run again when I saw the figure once more. I stopped in my tracks and followed him, with my eyes, for a bit.
I felt a breeze blow by and the smoke cleared. I could hear the guards charging at me, and I ran at the building in front of me. I struggled to climb it all the way to the roof, but when I made it I was tackled by another guard.
I fell to my right, my body slamming into the tiles that made up the roof. I groaned, my shoulder feeling a dull but persistent pain. I rolled both of us and threw the guard off of me. I pushed myself up and noticed more guards. I went to pull my sword out with my right arm when I felt the movement was limited, my shoulder felt wrong. I groaned and looked behind me if I jumped I’d have to tuck. I looked around again, the guards held triumphant looks, like they knew they had me.
I ignored my body telling me not to jump and hurdled my body off the roof anyway. I saw the ground quickly approaching and I tucked as best as I could. I tumbled sideways, my shoulder slamming into the rocky cobblestone.
I groaned and knelt down gripping my shoulder. I stood up and walked over to a wooden pillar near me. I lifted my arm and gripped the pillar as hard as I could. I dropped my body to the ground and I could hear a sickening crack emit from my shoulder. A loud groan left my lips and I rolled my shoulder back. The guards joined me and they all charged forward, one at a time, waiting for an opening. Each guard I took down quickly. But every way I turned I saw more guards. “You’re joking right,” I muttered.
I heard a commotion coming from the roof and again, I could’ve sworn, I saw him. Using my distracted self to their advantage, one of the guards took the opportunity to take a swing at me. With the tip of his blade cutting my robes I leaned back away from his attack. I looked down, not seeing a drop of blood. I growled and lurched forward, my hand flinching, unsheathing my hidden blade. I jumped up, throwing myself into the wall, pushing off of it and tackling the guard in front of me. My blade pierced his skull and his movement ceased.
I looked up and saw the remaining guards watching me intensely. Waiting to see if I was gonna make the next move. I stood up, rolled my shoulders back, and glared at them as I pulled my twin blades out. I spun them in my hands as I slowly approached them, I wasn’t running away anymore.
I was running at the guards when I could hear voices shouting, and the sound of people running. I kept my pace and started swinging, I cut down guards on my right, blocking the attacks of those on my left. It had been a few minutes when I heard a loud thud, like a body hitting the floor. I turned around my blades pointing towards the sound.
My eyes settled on the hooded figure but by then I just figured my eyes were tired. I was seeing the familiarity in his eyes. I lowered my head quickly and turned back towards the guards, taking down the rest while the hooded figure fought at my back.
I looked around at the end and saw that the guards that had faced us were all on the ground, most dead, some soon to be. I looked at the hooded figure and took off, I knew where I was headed and I didn’t want to stick around for too long.
As soon as I turned to leave I could hear the hooded figure calling after me, asking me to stop, telling me to stop. I climbed my way up to the roof and looked around for the tower that signified the den. I could hear the man coming after me still, “Signore, a moment please!”
The only reason he is calling me Signore and the reason I don’t care about it is that I don’t look like a woman. When dressed in my robes, with my hood covering my face, I don’t look so feminine. Those who were apart of my brotherhood, they knew my name and knew I was a woman, but when I was in my civilian clothes none could recognize me.
I kept going for as far as I could when I felt a hand wrap around my wrist, spin me around and I came to face the hooded figure. He took a look at me as my body tensed, my hand flew to my abdomen. We both looked down and saw blood seeping through my torn robes.
I looked back up and caught a glimpse of the hooded figures face. That scar. I learned in and the scar above his lip became clear.
“E-Ezio!?” My voice peeking through, shock evident. I was about to take a step forward when I felt my legs give way and I collapsed into his arms. My vision and hearing soon left as well.
I audibly groaned, my side aching along with my shoulder. The air around me was thick, and I could tell I wasn’t in a familiar place. My eyes shot open and I sat up, immediately regretting it. My midsection felt tight, and my shoulder felt the same. I looked down and saw my entire midsection wrapped, continuing to engulf my shoulder. My bottom was covered by a pair of shorts, and the blanket that once covered me, now pooled in my lap.
Was what I saw real? Was it really him? It couldn’t have been, why would he be here?
My robes were thrown over a chair that sat across the room I was in, the walls were bare, and the windows were covered- small streams of sunlight struggling to break through. I was about to get up when I heard footsteps approach and stop in front of the door. I laid myself back down, in the position I was in before and shut my eyes. I slowed my breathing and just laid there, one arm half under the blanket and the other resting on my stomach. My hair was tousled under my head, no longer in the braid, it was before.
I heard the door open slowly, and then it shut quietly. Almost as if whoever it was, didn’t want to wake me. The person, their footsteps light, stood at my bedside and remained silent. I could feel something hovering over my face, and then a hand stroking my hair back, there was a deep sigh, “-Dina, how did you end up here?” The voice spoke solemnly.
I knew that voice, it can’t be… My eyes shot open and I shot up, moving away from the hand that petted my hair back. My back was against the wall, and I stared ahead, his familiar eyes gazing into mine. So many emotions bubbled inside of me, too many, but only one rose above all.
“You?” My voice was weak and soft.
“Dina-”
“Don’t. Don’t you dare- call me that.” I spoke through gritted teeth, my hands gripping the sheets tightly, my eyes now downcast to the sheet.
A deep sigh left his lips as he took a step back. He turned to the chair where my robs laid and handed them to me, “Get dressed.”
I huffed and pulled the sheet with me as I stood up slowly, “Turn around.”
“Adrina, you forget I’ve seen all of you.”
“No. I remember, but it’s been some time since then. It’s not the same. I don’t feel the same, and I don’t want you seeing any of me anymore.” I spoke sharply.
He huffed and turned around, I dropped the sheet from around me and pulled on the robes slowly. When I was done I pulled my hair back and turned around, catching his eyes on me.
“Pig,” I muttered under my breath.
I walked out of the room leaving him behind me and walked down the straight and narrow hallways. I could hear a deep laugh echo from the den ahead of me and Ezio’s rushing footsteps behind me.
When I entered the den I looked around and saw people huddled around a table. It’s like home here, hasn’t changed a bit. I walked forward, my stature telling all the eyes that landed on me to remain silent.
I stood right behind him and slammed my hand on his shoulder pulling him against me, “Bir adım atın ve seni hızlıca düşürürüm, çalılık saçların seni koruyamaz.”
All the assassins that sat in front of him all looked on with a serious gaze. Ezio stood behind me and I could tell he was trying to figure out how to move me. Yusuf grabbed my arm and twisted it. I groaned and pulled him toward me flipping him over my back, “Do you concede?”
“I concede.” He nodded slowly, I pulled my hand back and laughed with him as a smirk grew on his face.
“Dina!” Yusuf cheered loudly before wrapping his arms around me, “It’s good to see you. I was worried when Ezio brought you back and you were unconscious.”
“Well, it certainly is a good thing that he found me isn’t it?” I seethed disdain in my voice.
“Yes, I couldn’t imagine you die before I got to see you again.” He spoke softly.
“So, how do you know Dina, Yusuf?” Ezio spoke up, an edgy hint in his voice.
I rolled my eyes and stood next to Yusuf letting him explain, “Well, you see, Dina came here a few years back. She helped us out when we were barely 5 strong.”
“What happened Yusuf, all my hard work wasted?” I commented looking around, almost every face I saw was a new one.
“It’s been hard since you went back, a lot has changed here,” Yusuf answered.
“Yes, that’s why he sent for me.” Ezio snipped.
“A mistake I’m sure.” I quipped back.
“They sent for me instead of you because your efforts didn’t get them far enough. Clearly, I’m the better assassin.” He snapped in a smug tone, “After all, I was named the Master Assassins.”
“Oh yes, of course. Master Assassin my apologies.” I seethed, “It doesn’t take much to become one you know.”
“Then how come they didn’t pick you.”
“I wasn’t there, I was at my home, my mother was dying. I refused any contact to summon me. You try leaving the last family you have for some title that would just put a bigger target on your back.” My voice rang out, louder than I expected. Emotion flowing more and more through each word.
I lowered my head and walked out of the room. I meandered through the halls back to the room I woke up in. I shouldn’t have said any of that. Why didn’t I just shut up? I closed the door behind me and looked straight at the window. I slammed it open, startling the bird on the ledge above my window.
Spinning myself around I lifted myself up to the ledge and climbed to the roof of the den. I looked around and saw the tower, I jumped over and climbed up that, nestling myself onto the top of the tower. I stared out at the view in front of me, the water within my sight. My shoulder and midsection throbbed again from climbing up.
I should just leave, nothing is the same, they’d be better off if I just let Ezio take care of it.
While I was sulking in self-pity I could hear shouts from below. I peered over the edge and saw guards surrounding the tower, they must have seen me climb up here.
I leaned back and just lied over the roof of the tower. My body was feeling pained again. If I were to go down there I’d only make what’s bad, worse. My eyes closed, senses in overdrive, I laid there not caring if the guards stood at the base of the tower.
I felt a presence looming over me, “If you’re going to kill me, do it quickly, I won’t give you the satisfaction of begging you to end it if you do it slowly.” My voice was dead, no emotion.
“Are you truly dead inside?” His voice rang out in my ears, Ezio.
I laid there, my eyes still closed, a sigh leaving my lips, “What do you want Auditore?”
“To talk.”
“You had that chance, now it’s gone. I’m not going to let my mind become wrapped around you again, it almost got me killed last time.” I spoke opening my eyes as I sat up, “I’m leaving in the morning, Yusuf is in your capable hands. You won’t let him down, I know you well enough to say that.” I stood and walked to the edge of the roof.
“Dina-”
“Auditore, I asked you not to call me that,” I spoke quietly, staring out at the slowly setting sun.
“Why? Yusuf calls you that. Why is so bad that I call you the name I gave you all those years ago?” Ezio asked, his voice rising an octave while his hands rose above his head.
I kept my eyes on the scenery around me, my fists clenching, “I don’t get it! Dina What did I do that caused you to hate me this much?”
“I do not hate you idiota” I whispered, my words barely meeting his ears.
“Then what? What could I have done to have caused this-this-questo pasticcio.”
“You left!” The words left my lips before I could think, and I was facing him after they did, “You left! With no word to me. When I came looking for you, I found nothing, not even a letter to say ‘I’ve gone to Constantinople.’ Nothing! Pensavo fossi morto.”
Ezio stepped forward, “All of this... because I left?”
I scoffed at what he said, my eyes, the tears I refused to let fall in front of him, “You do not understand. I don’ know why I waste my words explaining myself.” I prepared myself to jump from the tower's edge when I felt strong arms wrap around my waist gently so as to not disturb my bandages.
“Dina, please don’ run from me, I simply wish to know why you will not look at me like you once did,” Ezio whispered in my ear.
I sighed and turned around moving my hand to his chest. I looked up into his eyes and saw how deeply saddened he was that the fight just kept going, “Ezio... You left, with no word or clue as to where you were. I thought you had died. I was away long enough that almost anyway who had known me, was dead. No one remembered, I asked around, I looked but you were always good about hiding your tracks. My mother had just died, I did not know where you were or if you were alive. I just, froze everyone out. I thought you had moved on in the time I had gone to care for my mother.” All my words came out together, almost as if one big sentence.
“Dina-”
“But then I got word of an assassin with great skill making his way to Constantinople. I only ever got bits and pieces but it was enough to tell me you were alive. and then I knew that you had just left. And that hurt. When Yusuf wrote me asking for my help I came only to see if I could set myself straight. Part of me was so full of hope that you were alive, the other was full of rage and hurt that I could be easily forgotten like trash.”
“Dina!” I snapped from my ramble and focused back to his eyes, “I never forgot, but I came here. I had to leave when I did. I did not mean to hurt you. I didn’ know when you would return. I thought it safer if I leave and then come back.”
Ezio brought his hand to my chin and brushed the pad of his thumb along my cheek. I leaned into the sensation, missing it all this time. We stood there, in peaceful silence, my eyes closed head leaning into his hand while he stroked my cheek.
“Ezio, I wish we could have that again.”
“Why could we not?” He smiled at me as his eyes looked down at my lips.
“My mother’s death was not the only reason I went home. It was not the only reason I refused contact when they sought for a Master Assassin.”
“What are you talking about?” Ezio’s voice hardened as he pulled away from me, his hand no long stroking my cheek but holding me at arm's length.
I turned away from him, scared of how he might take the news. My eyes locked onto the gravel far below us and I knew then that I had to tell him, “Do you remember when we went on that mission to take out that corrupt diplomat. It was probably the 10th time we had worked together. He got my arm pretty good and afterward you patched me up.” I looked back towards him, his eyes gleamed with the realization of that night's events and he nodded.
“We became entangled in each other, ”My voice soft as a whisper as I reached forward, my hand grazing his cheek, “It was the first of many nights in which we would share the same bed. After that my heart was yours, and I never wanted it back. But when I returned home It was not of my own accord. I did so because I had to.” I pulled my hand back from his face and let out an uneven sigh.
“Not long after my mother passed I realized that ... " I paused to take a breath, my eyes glued to the floor, “I was pregnant.”
There was a strained silence between us. No one said a word. When my eyes wandered up to his face there was no sign of his reaction. I stood there waiting for him to say something, a reaction to register somewhere.
“What happened? You’re here now... “
Tears sprung to my eyes as I glanced at everything but him. I could feel my heart breaking just thinking about what I had to tell him. I took the biggest breath my lungs could hold before looking back at him.
"I-I ... I lost th-the baby... "
He looked at me with sadness in his eyes, “Come with me.”
“I can’t, Ezio, so much has happened- I’ve lost- We’ve lost so much. I can’t carry around like this.”
“So what you’re going to run around an assassino on some trip.”
I shook my head, feeling heavier now that I thought of the past, “I left to start something I thought I’d never have. Now I’m empty inside and you’re running around at the top of it all.”
“Dina... we could do it. Come with me.”
“I can’t.”

Frozen Buildings (Ezio Auditore)
This was an AO3 request I received. Thank you for the request, and sorry it took me so long!
Request:
Love this!! please write an Ezio one?? If u don't have any ideas maybe one in the winter time cause let's be honest here it's cold af how do them assassin's ACTUALLY be climbing on them cold slippery surfaces??? If u do have an idea tho ignore my dumbassery
Frozen Buildings
November had hit Roma. Icicles clung to the Colosseum, and white frost dusted the tile rooftops. The cold was bone deep, and the more years that passed the more aches and pains the dark haired assassin felt. As a young man he enjoyed the cold air. He didn't feel exhausted after a chase across the rooftops like he did in the heat.
At his age the cold always brought the fear of straining, or cramping anything while Ezio went about his missions. He took his role of mentor seriously. His pupil, a (petite/curvy/lean) woman with a brilliant mind and quick feet accompanied him this morning.
She rubbed her hands together, breathing into them to find any form of warmth. Her hot breath gave only a moment of relief for her frozen fingers.
Today was the perfect time to practice climbing icy buildings. Ezio stood close to the woman instructing her on which footholds to grab, and what to do in the event of slipping. Her body was a distraction. What little heat she was radiating he could feel, and he assumed that's why she huddled so close to him. He knew she was taking in his heat clinging to any warmth she could find, because her body failed to produce an adequate supply.
"Give it a go." He gestured to the wall.
Her (e/c) gaze was filled with doubt at the task at hand. Ezio placed his hand on her shoulder in an effort to comfort her. "I'll catch you if you fall." Her bright eyes flickered up to his. She found comfort in his grey eyes, and she knew he would be there if she fell.
She took a deep breath, watching the air mist on her exhale as she brought her focus to the task at hand. The stucco building was cold beneath her fingertips. She scaled the building, mindful of the footings she grabbed. Her mentor had chosen a low building in the event she fell. Sometimes she felt as if he treated her like glass. Worried any misstep, would leave her shattered on the ground. It was nice to feel as if someone cared, but she worried for her mentor. He'd lost too many people, and the man kept it hidden well. Ezio didn't have any comfort, he seemed to carry his demons alone.
(Y/N) couldn't pinpoint exactly when it happened, but she couldn't deny she found the older Italian attractive. He seemed oblivious to her crush. He was all business, all the time. She kept her fantasies buried deep, lest she lose her mentor entirely.
Ezio was observing her progress. She was doing extremely well, taking her time, but he saw it before it happened. He knew she was distracted. In the blink of an eye her foot slipped before she could get a proper grip and she was falling through the air. True to his word Ezio waited at the bottom to catch her. She was only about 7 or 8 feet off the ground, but she came crashing into his arms, and the pair landed in a pile on the cobblestones.
"Mentor! Are you alright?!" She asked, as she heard a wheezing breath. The Italian had broken her fall, but had also gotten the wind knocked out of him in the process.
"I just need a minute." His deep voice sounded like honey. Slowly he sat up, and she realized she was practically sitting in his lap. His hands gently ran up her body as he inspected her for any injuries. He breathed a sigh of relief, "you gave me quite the scare bella."
Her breath caught in her throat at the word bella. Perhaps he felt the same way? "You're freezing." He said, pulling her closer to him. She relaxed against him. Enjoying the feel of his solid frame against hers, and the warmth that slowly filled her.
"Perhaps we should get off the cold ground?" (Y/N) suggested. Ezio was quick to get up offering her a hand. She accepted his assistance, as he pulled her off the ground.
"Maybe we could continue this indoors?" (Y/N) inquired, her cheeks flushing at her own boldness.
A small smile tugged at the corner of Ezio's lips. “I had no idea you felt the same way.” He took a step towards her, as his voice dropped an octave lower. His fingers gently rubbing up her arm, soliciting a blush from the woman.
“I just thought we could begin lessons on something more suited for the indoors.” Her long lashes batted up at him feigning innocence.
“Perhaps we could teach each other something…” Ezio said his fingers tilting her chin up towards him. His tongue darted out to wet his lips, as a hungry look came over his face.
He had promised himself he would never look at his pupil this way. He’d felt guilty every time he’d snuck quick glances at her, but currently he was blatantly staring at the woman. His intentions written clearly on his face for her to read. He reasoned that she could leave, and if she was smart she’d run back to the bureau and demand a new mentor immediately. This would most likely end badly, but perhaps the two could be happy together? Most women left as soon as he opened up. Not that he could blame them. He was a dangerous man with too many skeletons in his closet, and too many people who wanted to kill him.
“Are you going to kiss me?” She inquired, and he didn’t hesitate to press his lips against hers. He cupped her face, his fingers tangling in her (dark/light) locks. When they finally parted her eyes fluttered up at him, and the two found themselves breaking out into a smile.
“Come bella.” He said grabbing her hand, pulling her towards the bureau.

His personal quarters were warm, as a fire blazed from the hearth. Ezio placed her in a large cushioned chair by the fire. “Wait here.” He instructed disappearing behind a screen. He returned promptly with two glasses, and a bottle of wine.
“This should warm you up mi cara.” Ezio said, handing her a glass of red liquid.
“Grazie.” She said taking a sip of the spiced elixir. “Will you take your hood off?” Her voice came fast, and her cheeks had a soft flush to them.
Ezio’s eyes lit up at the question, “mi dispiace, it’s a habit.” He confessed pulling the white fabric back to reveal his chocolate locks.
“I like you better without the hood...you have kind eyes.” She said softly, as she took another drink of liquid courage. Ezio smiled, sitting his glass on the table next to the chair. He placed himself between her knees as he kneeled in front of her, so the two were eye level. His thumbs rubbed small circles on her thighs, causing her heart to flutter.
She leaned forward, and he captured her lips in a kiss. His dark tresses were soft against her finger tips. He let out a low hum at the soft tugging on his hair. She parted her lips deepening the kiss.
His feathered bed was plush, and the silken sheets were divine against her skin. She let out a content sigh as he peppered her body with kisses, and she slipped off into a sensual intimacy that would keep bringing her back for more.

She awoke to the crackling of the fireplace. Her gaze lingering around the unfamiliar room. Ezio’s breath blew softly against her neck. She attempted to silently slip out of the bed when strong arms pulled her back.
“Mi cara, where are you going? Our lessons have only just begun.” He said, peppering soft kisses against her neck.
A delighted hum escaped her lips, “then let us begin...mentor.”

Oh, Sweet Death
Request: How would Ezio react meeting a woman who uses her looks to lure templars to kill them as it turns out she's an assassin too?  She tends to flirt with men if she wants something as she doesn't have any intentions about having relationships.  The woman is very innocent as she is freaked out by sex as she finds it kind of gross and is a virgin. The   The woman has a french accent and her height is 4'9.  The woman has an apple shaped body type and is somewhat busty.  The woman is feisty as she is capable of defending herself as she has 2 knives and knows martial arts.
Fandom: Assassin’s Creed, Ezio Auditore & fem!reader
Warnings: Short, a murder, a mild sexual theme in the first sentence, blood
A/N: I was going to make this as a gif imagine but the word count narrowly exceeded 500 words + I came up with a good title so here you have a oneshot instead of a gif imagine. This request came by an IM and the requester wanted to stay as an anon. I didn’t include the body types, french accent, flirting with men to get what she wants (it’s subtly hinted though), the reader being a virgin and being freaked out by sex, having 2 knives, knowing martial arts etc, because I don’t think they’re necessary to mention in this + I hope the requester meant x reader and not x OC because I don’t write for OC’s. + I apparently have (accidentally) deleted my chat with the requester (or then Tumblr has been bitching…) and since they wanted to stay anon, I didn’t take notes about their username. So naturally, I couldn’t ask them if it’s okay. Hopefully you understand!

“Oohh you little vixen”, a templar man murmured to your ear as he lowered you down on the bed “you don’t even know the ride you’re getting tonight.”
You grinned. “Oh I’m pretty sure I do.” And with that, you rolled on top of him and stabbed the templar right into his heart. The man tried to scream, but no sound came out. He began gurgling out blood and you patted his topped shoulder, before you pulled him closer to your face. “Please, no hard feelings, I’m just doing my job here.”
After the templar had died on the bed, you folded his arms to his chest, took his templar cross and made your prayers for him. As you hurried off from the room, you were met by a fellow assassin stopping you and pulling you aside.
Ezio frowned, as he had just witnessed you killing the templar. To this moment, he had thought you were an ally to templars - a lover to them who maybe slips information to them too, and multiple other assassins thought that to be the case too. But seeing you just killing that templar made him doubt his beliefs.
“Are you one of us?” he asked, with his voice having a clear echo of disbelief.
“Well what do you think, my Mentor?” you huffed playfully. As Ezio still stared at you with disbelieving gaze, you sighed and took out your leather bag which hung on your waist. “I should have known you won’t believe me that easily. But here, take a look.”
Ezio complied, carefully taking your bag while keeping his eye on you and peeked inside. There was about a dozen of templar crosses, all from their targets which had mysteriously been killed prior a few weeks.
“Why haven’t you visited our base? I don’t recognize you.” he asked, and you shrugged.
“We hide in the shadows to serve the light. Might as well be hidden from my fellow assassins too, at least then templars won’t have a chance in recognizing me if they infiltrate your place.”
Ezio found himself to smile a bit, admiring how cleverly you had been serving the Creed, even though it wasn’t the way everyone was taught to follow.
“You may take those crosses now, I’m not doing anything with them. I have a bunch of money from those fools.” you let out a snort and Ezio nodded, stuffing the crosses to his own bag.
“I’m afraid I have to ask you to check in every week from now on. You know where our base is.” Ezio stated and you snorted, turning to leave.
“Well, I can leave the crosses there every week from now on but I won’t ever come in. If the templars suspect anything, I’m dead. They think I’m their own little play toy who spends nights with them for a bit of money.”
“So shall it be then. There’s only one thing I have to know in order of ensuring you really are one of us. What’s your name?” Ezio asked, you looked back at him and grinned.
“Y/N. Keep that in mind, old man.”
