Damian has learned many things since joining the family. He's found joy in Gotham even fighting Rouges and stopping crime he's made more happy memories here than he did while in the league.

Although he will always love his mother and be grateful for everything she has taught him many of those skills have been retired and he can't say he's partically angry about it.

What he's truly enjoyed most is his family Father and Richard, even Todd when he cooks and lets him sketch the alley cats that frequent his terrace.

He’ll try his best with the ingredients he has in Hyrule, but if he ever gets the chance to meet your family, he’s definitely finding his way for he kitchen to watch whoever is cooking work their magic and learn (he will most likely be leaving with a new pack of spices in his bag if your family is anything like my in-laws and love to share lol). Honestly he will probably always be dragged that direction or to the grill during family gatherings/parties because he loves to cook so much lol.

Speaking of parties - YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT TWILIGHT WOULD NOT BE THE BEST DANCE PARTNER (2nd would be Time, 3rd would be Warriors)! So much that I’m afraid the aunties might attempt to steal him away to keep the party going lol.

I also think Warriors and Sky would be the best ones to have apart of a quinceañera - respectful, could easily follow along with the traditions and would definitely ensure that nothing goes wrong for such a special day! Honestly I can see all of them becoming “the protection chain”, the security - they will be giving the princess Zelda treatment lol.

Did you grow up a bit more superstitious or with ghost stories? I can definitely see them following along if you tell them about it, even if its much different than what they’re used to (like the mal de ojo huevo treatment - someone please do that for Wild, he out of all of them needs that done). As for ghost stories, campfire will be the perfect place to tell them! But be warned, you might have a Link (or a few) in your bed roll - especially if you tell Wind about La Llorona and y’all are camping near a river. Poor guy will need some comfort (an maybe Hyrule too).

Grow up more religious/spiritual? I can definitely see them finding interest in it, no matter the deity/god/goddess/saint/revered figure you bring up - again, they want to know more about you and what you’ve grown up with, plus they have the goddesses, Hylia, Fierce Deity - they would all find it nice to learn about the ones you might have been associated with all of your life too! If you have a rosary or some other religious item you like to carry on your person that might get broken via fight with moblin or wear and tear - can definitely see Four making you a brand new one! He may even get Sky in on it to help him whittle some wooden pieces into it!

Did you grow up with traditional medicine/home remedies (even mixed with modern medicine)? Hyrule is your guy! If there’s something you need (especially if you get sick on the road) he’ll go get it/make it/find a Hylian equivalent of it! However, if you grew up with Vicks (aka Vapour according to my mil) for everything, I would be careful with him and that. I’m afraid the smell alone might knock him out the first time he opens a jar of that.

Have you told them about la chanlca? Time would be the biggest user of that - not against his brothers in arms - no, Ingo would be the victim of la chancla. Hey, that may even be the thing that keeps him away for good.

Music? Have a favorite song or play an instrument? Oooohhh buddy Legend and Time have an arsenal of those and would LOVE to hear you sing/play it! Also, since Time easily learns through listening, I can see him learning your favorite song to play/duet with you (maybe even sing you to sleep with it)!

Tighnari is openly affectionate in public, often holding your hands with you while patrolling or allowing you to groom his tail or unknot tangles in the fur on his ears (a privilege only you have).

But you’ll know when he’s jealous because it will be obvious by stopping the person flirting or stealing your attention all together and dragging you behind him whilst trying to push down the urge to lunge at the who was clearly attempting to flirt with you.

It’ll be even worse for the person if they’re clearly making you uncomfortable and they aren’t letting up until they are confronted about by someone other than you.

Let’s just say that you will have to drag Tighnari away or purposely tell him you just want to leave and be comforted/distracted by your lover himself, if neither of those work then your best option is to hope it doesn’t get physical because most “fights” the forest ranger gets into are verbal and witty.

How reputation works in MDZS is quite representative of the novel's themes.

Reputation in MDZS, much like in real life, does not accurately represent the truth about a person, but rather it represents how they are perceived. And how they are perceived in cultivation society has a lot more to do with status and power than what their personality is like or what they actually did. More importantly, it has to do with how well they adhere to societal expectations (a lot of which are based on status).

That's why people like YZY, whose attitude was terrible and who never did anything impressive in the novel (at any point that we're told) had a reputation as being impressive and powerful, and yet she liked to whip little boys and lost the only battle we saw her fight. She couldn't even stop WLJ of all people from sending off the signal to initiate the invasion of Lotus Pier - and we're explicitly told that WLJ was so weak she couldn't even wield a cultivation sword and had to make do with a branding iron. WLJ was absolutely not a fighter. YZY was also an incompetent leader, who failed to prepare for an attack everyone knew was coming - refused to believe the Jiang sect would be attacked despite what had happened to the Lan clan just because of her delusions of superiority born out of her classist world view - and once the Wens did arrive at her door, she handled the situation in the worst way possible by escalating it and finally choosing to sacrifice the sect for the sake of her own personal pride, again, born out of classism. To me, this means that we're supposed to notice that YZY's reputation is empty, and it actually comes from her being born with a hight status.

We also have JZXun, who we all know was an imbecile and cruel, arrogant and mean person, whose deeds can all be summarized as abusing and preying of the weak while overestimating himself. He was the one who ambushed WWX with 300 archers by his side, and yet he was seen as a victim by society as the victim, and defended as such, and his flaws were consistently ingnored.

Then we have JC, who built up his reputation by slaughtering the Wens in the burial mounds, people he himself had identified as the weak, the old the women and children. He then went on to spend the next 13 years kidnapping, torturing a d killing people he suspected of being demonic cultivator, and didn't let go even when proven wrong. I won't bring up the life debt he owed the Wen siblings and the golden core he owed WWX because society at large didn't know about those. The point here is that even with all that despite not being liked by people who actually met him, being known to have a bad temper, to not protect his own people unless it either brought him glory or somebody died first, and being known to act like a tyrant, at the time of WWX's resurrection into MXY's body JC was known as a war hero. That's because he was a sect leader. Had JC not had his status, he wouldn't have had anything else either.

Then we have WWX who was always righteous. When he was fighting for the sects in the SSC, everyone approved of him, when the war ended and he didn't act submissive, they feared and hated him. During the Phoenix Mountain Hunt, WWX took down one third of the prey and NMJ took down another another third, and yet, everyone was criticizing WWX, accusing him of breaking the (inexistent) rules and disapproving of him for acting above his status. On the other hand, nobody thought there was anything wrong with NMJ doing the very same thing WWX did. In fact, the thing the cultivation society hated the most about WWX wasn't his cultivation, evidenced by the fact that nobody cared that the Jin sect had XY experiment with demonic cultivation until XY went and murdered a whole clan (and even then, only NMJ did anything about it and it was only the murder he seemed to have a problem with), and nobody had any qualms about using WWX's knowledge and inventions. In fact, what the cultivation society hated the most about WWX was that he dared to act above his status. Just like this, WWX who was a truly good man had a much worse reputation than all those men mentioned above, all of whom were incomparably worse people than he.

We see a few cases like LWJ's, whose reputation was quite accurate and whose exalted deeds were true. Crucially, LWJ was a member of the Lan clan, the son of a sect leader and then the brother of one. He was famous for going where the chaos was, and helping anyone regardless of their identity. The pinacle of what a cultivator should be like, a truly righteous man. And yet, the moment he sided with WWX, the man they had previously slandered to death, cultivation society was ready to turn against him. It was only by the intervention of NHS that LWJ and WWX even got the chance to prove their innocence and expose the true culprits. Crucially, NHS was a sect leader who had real power (unlike LWJ who was the brother of a sect leader and therefore had high status bit little power).

NHS himself had a high status but a reputation as an incompetent and useless brat. However, NHS's case is different from WWX's because NHS had such a reputation intentionally, and used it as means to achieve his goals.

Anyway, I'm just ranting here because I got tired of seeing JC and YZY stans using their reputation of all things to claim that they were "badass" or somehow good or heroic when it doesn't match the actuality of their actions and capabilities in the novel.

Cogito-4's mentor! I still haven't decided when SotCorrupted takes place so they're still taken. Rambling about them and Cogito copied from Discord below 👇

So like (storytime)

Ryba was a warlord during the Dark Age (then was enslaved, freed and then they were just kind of a vagabond), not a very good one. They essentially came to the City to not get killed by the enemies they gained at that time.

Enter Cogito-4, blueberry flavored. In short, in his previous life he lost his leg and replaced it with a one of another exo (and failed! He ended up needing a cane), also he damaged his memory banks - he forgot most of the commonly used languages. So this is how he got to the City - unable to run, speaking only Polish and broken Eliksnii and with a ghost who got traumatized by his friends death during the Great Hunt and didn't want his guardian to fight. Let's say that not many Warlocks wanted to take him as a student.

But Ryba eventually did and teached him everything they knew (including levitation which was super convinient). But they were too unthinking to even consider that Cogito would follow them (while Cogito very much perceived this as his parental figure abandoning him)

Tl;dl Ryba went to get milk and never returned

They were this kind of a Warlock who just gets up one day and dissapers, Osiris style. So Cogito obv went on this grand adventure (despite never leaving the City before) to find them and he never did :'(

Cogito is currently trying to figure out how to "un-take" them before shit hits the fan *big time*

Also I wonder if a ghost can be taken? Sloane case seems to stand against it but I'm not sure (maybe it's because Síocháin didn't get taken?) (lore help appreciated, I'll probably ingnore it anyway tho).

I've been crafting my original Destiny season (I think there will be no more seasons after FS? They are episodes now. Damn [that image of an ant with a penny-cress]) and this is the plot basically. Just Cogito going, "Guardian, this month we will be saving my mentor with power of friendship and Awoken magic I stole from a Tech Witch"

I mean, yeah, pretty much. At first it was like "Ugh, Ikora told me that no-one else wanted to have anything to do with this guy so I guess I will because I don't have any better way to spend time" to "this is my friend and sidekick and assistant and if anything happens happens to him I'll start killing"

Also one last nail to the (angst) coffin! Ryba's last mission's objective was to find the Eliksnii that taught Cogito their language in his previous life. Unfortunately they got caught in crossfire during Reef Wars, got stuck there and then got trapped in the Ascendant Realm.

Tfp sg headcanons!

1- I'm going with the interpretation that the sg wreckers are basically the mob. This ain't just a small group we're talking a sprawling criminal syndicate that's essentially a faction all it's own.

2- the wreckers we know are the top dogs out of all of them and easily the most feared to the point where most prefer to call them by nicknames instead of using their real ones.

3- to most sg miko seems like a doll; proper prim and polished complete with a custom made sun dress, pinktails, corpse pale skin, an unchanging expression, lifeless eyes and a completely artificial exterior.

4- seriously though miko or "doll" is basically the human personification of one of those creepy porcelain dolls and she's just as creepy, never speaking, never dropping the calm smile on her face, and never quite human. Mostly because she isn't.

5- well more like she isn't all human. Sg wheeljack has done alot of work on her with cybertronian tech to make sure she can keep up with the big boys. Despite being limited to scouting and acquiring Intel Jackie likes to make sure she can handle herself in a fight if need be.

6- speaking of which sg wheeljack or "slicer" is somehow even more freaky. Just like miko he never really talks but he's not as quite as her infact he's never quite given he's always giggling and humming to himself.

7- he's a twitchy, high strung type with a nasty habit of looking at people like he wants to dissect them and absolutely zero concept of personal space.

8- he's a wild card with a complete apathy for anything other than violence, science, and the wreckers most of all miko who he treats as his own daughter and dotes on endlessly and bulkhead who he is unflinchingly devoted to, to the point of freaking out whenever they're apart to long.

9- on that note bulkhead "brute" is the embodiment of the strong silent type with a violent streak a mile wide and zero interest in anything other than fighting and his "family"

10- opposite to wheeljack he's cold and collected which many of those that employ him appreciate and many who fight him respect.

12- miko hides behind a cold, flawless mask in order to cover the scared little kid desperate to be accepted and loved and terrified of being abandoned. This desperation for love has lead to miko being terrifyingly devoted and driven made even more dangerous by her intelligence, resourcefulness, and manipulation skills.

13- bulkhead plays the brute but in reality he's the extremely intelligent true leader of the wreckers with a habit of using people for his own gain and almost zero empathy Despite that however he has a deep set need to be needed which he uses miko and wheeljack to sate.

14- wheeljack is a straight up mad scientist. There's no beating around the bush he's crazy and childish as they come but extremely intelligent and extremely dependent on bulkhead and miko for purpose, approval, comfort and above all, affection with bulkhead essential being his comfort blanket and miko an emotional support animal.

15- miko and wheeljacks' dependence on bulkhead is entirely by design of course. As I said, he needs to feel needed and when he happened to come across someone so talented and so desperate for validation he happily took them in, into his "family" and into his possession.

16- seriously as far as bulk's concerned miko and wheeljack belong to him same as pets. Very loved and useful pets but pets all the same.

17- does miko know he sees her like this? Yes. Does she care? Not at all. After all as long as she's wanted it doesn't matter. Besides it's not like she doesn't use him right back.

18- wheeljack also knows his bulky only sees him as a glorified pet but he kind of just... ingnores it. Miko uses bulks need to be needed for her own gain while wheeljack would rather pretend everything's fine. Like I said he's extremely childish and he doesn't want to face how truly twisted and toxic his little "family" really is.

You need to fight back no matter how much this country keeps you down. Jack is a child and he has seen and experienced a lot more bad than good. there is this little part that wants approvel from people he loved,and there is a understanding that somewhere they hurt him and used him and then there is the power and understanding that comes with beiing God that jack can't comprehend

Also, his relationship with Castiel is frayed because cas is heartbroken over almost everything that happened. he loved tha winchesters and his angel breathen and his father and now he feels like everything has been destroyed and jack feels responsible and he wahts to make it right for cas but he has no idea what to so

and to start rebuilding, you have to clear the debries first

both jack and castiel love eachother and want to pertect eachother and cas understands what being God is and he knows how lonely it is

when castiel had his god arc he was alone, the angels he asked for help,to stand with him betrayed him and his father ingnored him and winchesters did both and guilted him.

with Godstiel his actions are not a problem, he said he won't hurt innocents in his reign, also rember that angel cas begged stop and he killed her when she didn't(like jack with mary) , we don't know if tha's what happened with other angels too. the peoblem was cas's mental state he was hurt and scared and alone and he had nothing

the fact that he persued power is rather obvious he is an angel and he was fighting someone stronger than him and he hardly have anyone in his cornor

so for cas to sit with his god self and for them to validate all they feel and make sense of it and him to reminded that his mistakes do not have to define him that maybe cas wasn't as bad as he belives himself to be

I just saw the snipet of Werewolf Alma & Mirabel you wrote for @gamerbearmira, and I just wanna say; WE SHARE BRAINCELLS!!!;

She arrives at Casita, puts the agonizing pup onto the table, turns back ingnoring the consecuences this will have on her injuries (se didn't come unscratched from her fight with the jaguar), grabs an arepa...and sees Mirabel's unmoving body & her life devoided eyes.

The familly is shocked. Alma explains everything to them, and when she learns the reason of their treatment towards Mirabel, leaves with no intention of coming back.

And the candle punishes the Madrigals by turning their gifts into something less friendly;

Dolores is now on a constan sensory overload, nothing can help her, and she hears pain related screams louder than any other thing.
