The decor of Rancho Pillow Motel, in Round Top, Texas, continues to inspire me w/its colorful, funky, BoHo, flea market style vibe.
The Love Shack.
The Surf Shack. Built from reclaimed material the Shacks feel very much like a wild west playhouse.
Bedrooms & bath in the Love Shack.
The Surf Shack.
The Red House dates back to 1896 and the art-filled home offers a whimsical vibe.
The Red house is awesome.
It’s an explosion of color and art.
Bedroom in the Red House.
Love this pink bedroom!
Interior of the barn- the largest building.
The Barn’s kitchen.
This is fabulous, isn’t it?
There are so many options- this is The Tower House.
Or, camp out in the Teepee.
The bath facility behind the teepee.
I would love to go to one of their antique fairs in Round Top. This place is like paradise for BoHo, art, antique, and color lovers.

Loving an Heirloom
I used to hear the words – that old thing—quite often and then I’d insert a cringe… I know right.. crazy.. because those “old things” stood the test of time and still lives on. That’s because of how the quality of a piece was crafted. It wasn’t until I was in my mid to late 20’s when I can truly say I began my quest for antiques. Finding, learning and studying about pieces, the eras, the…

One of my tattoo artist acquaintances got a new space recently and he decided he wanted to decorate with highland cow stuff. Which is fine but then he went and bought decor from Hobby Lobby.
I feel like he's broken some cardinal rule. Like he needs to be punished for this.

Jaana and Jarko's townhouse in Finland is a happy mix of pastel shades and flea market finds. It’s just so pretty, too.
The iron bed in the living room is a find and, according to the seller, was once a hospital bed.
The very pretty wallpaper goes perfectly with the decor.
"The style of our home has long been romantic and rich," said Jaana.
They bought the black cabinet from Ikea. The pompoms are made from tissue paper and Jaana found the clock at a flea market.
"We were at my aunt's house for a summer visit when I got the upper part of the hostess's closet. The cabinet was abandoned on the wall of the garage and slightly covered in oil after serving as a tool cabinet,” says Jaana.
Already 12 alarm clocks have accumulated in their home from flea markets. The shelf was purchased from Ikea.
The iron bed in the kitchen came on a sleigh during the war. The table is from a carpenter, the stool was made by Jaana in a woodworking course.
"My color palette includes warm, muted and pastel tones. Bright colors are not my thing," said Jaana.
Among Jaana's favorite pieces of furniture is a chest of drawers from her mother's home. The glass jar was purchased from a flea market. The mirror and basket are from Ikea.
"Decoration is a hobby for me. The best part of our home is that it's easy to modify the interior," she said.
The poster is from the flea market, and the canopy was purposely placed in the corner.
Jaana keeps her furniture refinishing supplies neatly in pretty boxes.
The small and well-maintained garden has two sitting areas. The couple refreshed the garden furniture with white paint.

For the Love of Crystal
Well, here I am again – jumping in your box! I can’t believe January has come and just about gone. Since the holidays have come and gone, it’s time to get back on track with doing some things. But first, I have to admit it was a pleasure to toast in the new year using such quality crystal. So I’m going to share this video to pay tribute to my love of crystal and hopes to inspire you to thrift…
