I went to The Getty Central museum today and ate at Shin-Sen-Gumi for the Like A Dragon Ishin collab afterwards.
The Getty (Center) is an art and culture museum in Los Angeles known for its permanent exhibits and mostly European art. Entry is free, though you need to reserve free tickets in advance, as well as pay a parking fee.
The Getty Villa is about 40 minutes away and is also free with reservations, and focuses on ancient Greek and Roman art. If you park at the Center, be sure to grab your parking receipt for free entry when you drive from the Center to the Villa.
Shin-Sen-Gumi is a ramen chain specializing in an authentic experience collaborating with Like a Dragon Ishin for the release of the game. Ordering the Ishin special awards you with one of four character coasters.
The real Shinsengumi was a kind of special forces during the Tokugawa Era. Ryoma Sakamoto was the influential figure that ends the age of Samurai.
Ryoma is the main character of Ishin and has the likeness of Kiryu from the Yakuza/LaD games.

Samgyup and Coffee date | 29 July 2022
Last weekend, we had a Samgyup and Coffee date on a rainy day. I always look forward to our dates where we get to look and dress up good because we always just stay in. I love our stays in and homecooked meals, don't get me wrong. But there's just that different feeling when we go out and eat out and be all out in public ❤️
