Basil Hawkins

🔮 Hawkins developed a habit of always looking before he sits down. {Name}, his dearest partner had a penchant for leaving little presents and tokens all over but occasionally on his chair or preferred seats. Mostly, so Hawkins knew it was for him. She always left the most fascinating little knickknacks, all things that would interest Hawkins. Sometimes it was little pendants, or pretty flowers she picked. Hawkins appreciated everything he received.

🔮 He knew his partner well, truly sweet and shy when it came to expressing herself. Her gifts were her affection as she always hesitated to initiate physical affection. It's not that {Name} didn't like it, in fact she loves it. It was just challenging for her to be the one to initiate it. And she never wanted Hawkins to misunderstand and think that she wasn't interested which is why she adopted the little gift system.

🔮 {Name} would usually hang around after leaving him a present, somewhere out of sight where she could see his reaction to the gift. Usually he'd pick it up, inspect it and flash a small smile that made her heart melt. It was interesting to see how soft Hawkins is with {Name} in regards to his mannerisms. Many people thought it odd to see the pirate showing such a meek demeanour.

🔮 Hawkins usually would initiate physical contact as {Name} felt hesitant to do so. As a means of thanks he would give her hugs or little kisses, sometimes he'd kiss the back of her hand much like an old fashioned gentleman. {Name} enjoyed the affection and appreciated all of Hawkins reactions.

🔮 Hawkins at first used to read the cards challenging himself to guess where, and what would be left for him by {Name}. The vague words made it difficult to decipher but the intent always came across clearly. Hawkins eventually stopped doing this, for as much as he enjoyed reading fortunes, he enjoyed the surprise of whatever she gifted him with.

🔮 {Name} usually gifted him with little curios, little pieces of jewelery with runes and symbols, ever so often leave his favourite snacks and sometimes just unusual trinkets she thought Hawkins would like.

Fujitora

🐯 After losing his sense of sight, Fujitora adjusted by developing his other senses such as his hearing. {Name} didn't intentionally try to sneak up on Fujitora, not that she really good at it as he would always hear her shuffling steps whenever she walked, {Name} usually announced her presence before approaching Fujitora with gifts in tow.

🐯 Being shy meant {Name} was not often the one to initiate the physical contact between the two, but it became a habit for her to gently cradle his hands whenever she gave him presents. Truthfully a few simple touches would have been enough for him to guess but he never said anything as he liked the feeling of her holding his hands so lovingly while he inspected her gifts.

🐯 Fujitora usually reciprocated with affection or gifts of his own, {Name} didn't want anything in return as her giving gifts was the manner in which she expressed her affection. Fujitora eventually grew accustomed and just reciproacted with physical affection and loving gestures that made {Name's} heart melt everytime. For a man, who is an admiral and easily cuts down enemies in his path; he presented such a soft side to her and is always very gentle in everything he does.

🐯 Fujitora never once truly regretted his decision to take his eyesight. Sometimes he wishes there are some things he could see again, {Name} being the only time he would revert it as he could not see her reactions or her smile. He adopted a habit of often placing his hands on her face to feel her expressions, and whenever {Name} would nuzzle into his touch was something he truly loved.

🐯 Loves to give Fujitora snacks, buns, dumplings, hard candies, mochi - she will often give the gift to him directly out of consideration rather than leaving it. Also likes buying him things that feel lucky. A lucky coin, a brooch with a four leaf clover pendant, she knows of his penchant for gambling and wants him to feel as lucky as possible.

🐯 Fujitora loved all of her gifts and treasures each and every one, even if {Name} tells him that they aren't that good, he still loved them. Not for the value but the thought knowing she had him in mind when she chose it. And that its a literal gesture of her love for him.

X-Drake

🦖 {Name}had a fair mix of giving presents and snacks for Drake, sometimes she would leave them around places he frequented. Fervently warning everyone else that they're for Drake specifically, on days when she had a little more courage, she would give them to him directly. Early on in the relationship, being given all these random presents was unusual to Drake because he wondered if they were for some sort of anniversary.

🦖 Always loves the gifts she gives him, especially when he learnt the reason why she gives him these gifts. Despite being reserved and more hesitant when it comes to women, Drake tries to work up to making the first moves for {Name}. There are exceptions to when her reservations are overriden such as Drake coming back from a particularly dangerous fight and mission, in the spur of the moment she will hug him in relief.

🦖 Honestly Drake's most honest reactions and touches are the ones he does unknowingly. Placing a gentle, guiding hand behind her back when walking. Or taking hold of her hand when walking through a crowd or shielding her with his big stature when he feels a dangerous situation brewing.

🦖 Drake is shy around women. So he's absolutely adorable when trying to be the one to take initiative with matters of affection, he's so shy and awkward but it's really endearing. Sometimes it just happens naturally, other times Drake is a little stiff when he would grab her hand or hug her from behind. He also worries about his strength so he makes sure he's extra gentle because he genuinely believes {Name} is fragile, that if he squeezes too hard it will make her pop or something.

🦖 Gifts usually include trading cards from Sora, and anything relating to reptiles. Drake swears left and right that his favourite gift was this tiny rubber lizard that {Name} found at a random stall. The lizard looked quite realistic and had little sticky pads that allowed it to be stuck on any surface and honestly Drake made a habit of moving it around, whether to be funny or just to utilize all of this little rubber lizards functions it's probably his favourite gift ever.

🦖 Dedicated an entire shelf just for the gifts {Name} gave him, of course the edible and perishable gifts being exceptions seeing that he ate them. But for the little cards, posters or carvings and toys. Those were all kept so preciously as if a treasure of gold and gems. In fact a rumor spread around of Drake's treasure, not that anyone knew the truth of those treasures.

Headcanons for my One Piece hotties: Their reaction when their child calls them by the nickname their S/O calls them instead of dad.

I could literally picture this in my head and my hotties expressions😂

Kizaru✨

He could hear the faint sound of his child running towards him and saying something but he couldn’t make it out until he realized what his child was saying, “Kiz…kiz!”, the child called for their father as Kizaru huffed, “…say dad or papa…not Kiz”, he’d say but that would just make his child call him by the cute nickname again and again.

Akainu🌋

“Puppy! Puppy!”, is all Akainu could hear as he was tending to his plants when he felt his child cling to his leg and looking up at him all doe eyed, “…puppy”. He’d go red in the face knowing his S/O is the only person to ever call him this and now…it was his child. He would sit with his child that entire afternoon, trying to get them to call him dad or papa.

Ryokugyu🌱

He would be taking a nap with his child on his chest before the child woke up and poked their dad’s face, trying to wake him up, “Ryo yo…Ryo yo!”, they said taking off his sunglasses and putting them on. He’d wake up lazily and look at his child with a smirk, “What did you say, you little shit?”.

Fujitora 🐅

He would be eating his soba in the garden when his S/O brought him some tea, he was just about to ask where their child was when he heard the familiar name, “Issh Issh! I want soba too!”, his child would say before coming up and cuddling next to him. He’d be at a loss for words and then would burst out in laughter, “now now, you’ve got to call me papa first…”, he’d say but of course this doesn’t happen.

Sir Crocodile 🐊

His child would sneak into his office with their crocodile plushie and then cuddle in his lap, “Had a good nap, little one?”, he’d ask as he holds them close to his chest and gives their forehead a kiss, “Yes, Croc…Mr Croccy kept me safe too”, the child would say, “…what did you call me?”, he’d ask with a slender raised eyebrow, “Croc…you’re Croc!”, they’d say with a big smile. This made the pirate blush for a while afterwards.

Doflamingo Donquixote 🦩

“Doffffffyyyyy…where are youuu? Doffyyy!”, his child would be shouting as they skipped around the palace looking for their father. Doflamingo was in a meeting with his crew when he heard his child and a vein popped on his forehead as he walked over and picked his child up, “hey hey, you call me dad or papa, you little squirt”, he said with a smirk, “okay, Doffy!”, the child would say while his crew just laughed in response.

Benn Beckman 🔫

“Stud! Mom said dinner is ready!”, his child would shout from the courtyard as Benn was busy in the garden, “Yeah yeah, I’m coming…wait…what did you say?”, he’d ask looking surprised, “mom said dinner is ready, stud!”. Benn would definitely be cursing when he heard that and would ask his S/O not to call them that anymore.

Katakuri Charlotte 🍡

“Let’s have a tea party, Kata!”, his child would say as Katakuri walked out of the bedroom, “Sure, sweetie… let me just…wait…what did you say?”, he’d ask with wide eyes, “Kata, here is your cup of tea….come sit with me!”, his child would say again. He would sigh and look at his S/O with a disapproving look as they laughed before going to the tea party.

Killer🔪

He would just come home after a long while at sea and his child would run into his arms, giving him kisses, “mom! Babe is home!”, his child would say as Killer looked at his child in confusion, “hey I’m your dad…not babe”, he’d chuckle, “but mommy calls you babe…so you’re babe!”, the child would say happily, giving him more kisses. Killer would pout at his S/O, “…this is all your fault…call me dad from now until they get it”.

Kaido🐉

He’d be taking a walk with his child, hand in hand when they point out a fruit that they wanted from a tree. He’d pick it out for them and clean it on his shirt before handing it over, “Thank you, Kai Kai”, they’d say with a big smile before eating happily, “You’re welcome…Kai Kai? That’s what your mother calls me…you say papa not that…okay, little one?”, he’d say trying not to be too strict, “but Kai Kai is so cute and you’re so cute too”, the child would say which would make the Yonko blush and mumble to himself about not being cute.

King👑

His child was learning how to control their wings to it wasn’t just flapping around and knocking things over. When they did get some control, they squealed happily, “I got it, look, love! I got it!”. King was just about to acknowledge his kid when he heard them call him ‘love’, “that’s great, little one, but…uhh only your mom calls me love…call me dad, okay?”. His kid complete ignores him and tries to control their wings, “Love, my wings are cooler than yours!”. King would pout about the name for a while.

Queen👑

He would be taking care of his kid for the day since his S/O was out running some errands, “Q…I’m hungry…I want ice cream”, the child would say as they clung to their father’s clothes, “Shit, it’s not even 9am, alright but don’t tell your mom or she’ll kill me…hey call me pops! Not Q! That’s okay for your mom”, he’d say looking shocked, “but Q is so cool and you’re so cool!”, his child would reply in awe of their father. Queen would melt at this and just cuddle his child, “alright but if your mom scolds you…I’m not part of it”.

Izou🔫🔫

He would doing his child’s hair just to make sure they were all neat for the day as his S/O was busy making breakfast, “there all done, now what do we say?”, he’d ask as he gave his child a kiss on the forehead, “Thank you, Izzy! I love it”, the child would say happily before running to show their mother, “hey hold on, you gotta call me papa! Not Izzy! Come back here!”, Izou would shout after his kid but there was no turning back now.

💜-This man is such a gentle giant 🥹

💜- Since Issho is blind you try to gift him things that he can feel

💜- So when you decided to make him a bracelet, you made sure to use different shaped and different textured beads

“Y/N is that you?”

“Maybe~” You sit beside the large man and gently grab his hand “I have a surprise for you!”

“What’s this?” His fingers run over the soft threads of the bracelet you’ve placed on his wrist. “Did you make this?”

“I sure did!” You beam. “The base of the bracelet is a deep purple, so that it matches your outfit!”

“I see, any special reason why you made it my darling?”

“It’s just like the bracelet says.” Issho was confused at first but ran his fingers over the beads of the bracelet. His smile widens, feeling that the letters spell out I love you.

“I hope you don’t mind.” His large hands come up to cradle your face as his fingers trace over your nose, eyes and finally your lips. “Since I can’t see it, I want to feel the kind and beautiful smile of the woman I adore.”

(Issho can actually see the colorful hue of the bracelet thanks to the love and kindness you put into making it)

Koby

🌸💕- Koby was getting ready to go on his first overseas mission as a marine captain. Meaning he was going to be gone for a few months.

🌸💕- You knew he was going to miss you just as much as you were going to miss him, so you wanted to give him something that would remind him of you. Thus you made him a bracelet

🌸💕- When you gave it to him he turned into a absolute, blushing mess (He was internally giggling and kicking his feet)

🌸💕- As happy as he was to receive the bracelet, he felt bad knowing he didn’t have anything to give you

🌸💕- You assured him that it was okay, but seeing you walk away empty handed left a bad taste on his tongue

“Wait Y/N!” You turn around on the dock to see your boyfriend running towards you at full speed. “Koby?” You raise your brow as he tries to catch his breath.

“Please take this.” Koby’s pink hair falls against his forehead as he unties the bandanna wrapped around his head. “May I?” You smile and bring your hand up so he can wrap the colorful fabric around your wrist. “It’s not a bracelet, but you can at least wear it like one!”

“Captain, we got the go ahead from HQ!”

“Roger that.”

“You better get going captain.” You reach up and give him a kiss on his flushed cheek. “Come back to me, okay?”

“I promise I will.” Koby’s hand wraps around yours as he pulls you close to him. “Let me give you one more thing before I go….” Your eyes widen in shock, feeling his soft lips press against yours for the very first time.

You both pull back with embarrassment flooding your faces hearing the whistles and “Get it captain!” comments coming from the ship above you.

“I have to go now, love.” With a cherry red face he pulls you in for one last hug. “I’ll be back before you know it.”

“I’ll be waiting.”

“Where did that come from?” Helmeppo confronted the blushing boy as soon as he stepped foot on the ship. “Did she cast some kind of love spell on that bracelet?”

“I don't know honestly.” Koby looks at the bracelet with a dopey smile plastering his face. “I love her so much.”

“I know that you love sick fool..... also why do you look like you're about to pass out?”

“Because I am.” With that his unsteady knees finally gave out, sending him straight to the deck.

Despite the fact it took him two hours to fully recuperate, he was still proud of himself for finally finding the courage to properly kiss you. (No bewitched bracelet required)

(Koby learnt a very valuable lesson that day. Love is a hurricane!! )

Smoker

💨- The second you gave him the bracelet he handed it back saying something like “I’m a grown man and I don’t wear silly little bracelets, go give it to Tashigi.”

💨- Definitely not the reaction you were hoping for AT ALL

💨- You grab that bracelet and leave his office, but not before bitterly saying “It won’t mean anything to her….”

Once Smoker finally got home it was already nearing midnight. He was making his way towards your shared bedroom when he noticed something colorful in the hallway trash can. He pulled it out and recognized it as the bracelet you tried to give him earlier.

“Fuck me.” What you said before you left his office finally made sense to him. Why would you give Tashigi a bracelet that had his and your relationship anniversary date on it? “How could I not remember that it was today?” Not only did he reject your gift, he also forgot today actually was your anniversary. Now he was feeling like an absolute asshole, but he’s dead set on making things right.

Smoker opens the door to your bedroom to find the comforter still in place. She’s not here. Then he checked the guest bedroom. Not there either. He was about to freak out thinking you had left, but remembered he had one more place to check.

He felt a wave of relief wash over him finding you fast asleep on the living room couch. But that relief quickly turns into heartbreak, seeing the balled up tissues scattered around your curled up body.

“Y/N..” There was no gruffness in the way your name left his lips. “I’m so sorry.” He brushes the stray hairs out of your face and notices the puffy ring of red around each of your eyes. “My sweet girl.” He thinks back to earlier that day, how you were happy and smiling. But he selfishly stole that from you. “I don’t deserve you at all.”

“Hell no you don’t.” You lift up from the couch and wack his hand away.

“You're awake??”

“Yeah, I have been the whole time..”

“Listen Y/N, I don’t have an excuse for my actions and I won’t make one.” Smoker sat down next to you on the couch and took your hand in his. “Just know I am sorry and I love you.”

“I thought you “wouldn’t wear a silly little bracelet” ?” You grab the bracelet on his hand with a quirked brow.

“Well I didn’t know my silly little woman made it for me.” He replies with a smirk. “But even if you didn't, I should have accepted it.”

“Yeah, but It’s in the past now.” You grab the blanket and place it back over your body. “I’m going to sleep, goodnight Smokey.”

“On the couch?”

“Is that a problem?”

“No, I guess not.” You were hoping he’d pick you up bridal style and whisk you away to bed, but the big oaf just walked away. He never learns. “I’ll sleep right here then.” Surprised to hear his voice again, you turn around and see him throwing pillows and blankets on the floor

“I suppose you will.” You huff and close your eyes.

“Y/N.” You hum in response “I think you dropped something on the floor.”

“Dropped wha-.”

“I may have lost track of time and forgot today was our anniversary.” You lift up from the couch in complete shock seeing the ring Smoker held in his hand. “But that doesn’t mean I didn’t have anything planned for our anniversary.” You could feel tears forming in the corners of your eyes. “Will you marry me Y/N?”

“You jerk…” You hold your left hand up, letting him slide the ring over your finger. “Of course I will.” You jump down from the couch and tackle Smoker to the floor as you cry tears of joy. “I'm still mad at you, but I’m also really happy.” You pull away and look to see Smoker also has tears of his own forming.

“Babygirl I’m happy too and all, but...” His voice strains as if he were in pain. “Your knee.”

“What about my knee?” You look down and see he wasn’t crying for the reason you originally thought. “Oops.” During the process of jumping your now fiancée, your knee had unfortunately landed on his privates. “Honey I am so sorry!”

“It’s okay.” You could tell he was holding back a scream. “I deserved it anyway.”

“Drop the Mr. Tough guy act.” You roll your eyes. “Want me to go get a frozen bag of peas or something?”

(Smoker may have lost his ability to have kids, but it was worth seeing you fawn over your engagement ring.)

Garp (NSFW)

💥- Despite your relationship with Garp being a secret (For.... special reasons) he’s all the time sneaking you small trinkets or leaving you a stack of his rice crackers on your desk.

💥-He can't help himself, he just loves giving you things. (At one point he even tried to steal Sengoku's goat for you because you said it was cute💀)

💥- But you wanted to return the favor and what better way than with something handmade

“Garp, can I come in sir.” You knock on his office door before reviving a gruff come in. “I have something for you.”
