Just had a revelation about another one of the reasons I probably like g/t.

I feel small sometimes (not in the literal sense), as we all do.

And when we feel small, often our first instinct is to lash out at whatever makes us feel threatened, but we know that’s not productive or fair to the people around us, so we try our best not to act on that instinct.

But with g/t, you really are small, it really is a threat, and lashing out in self-defense really is the best option — and if it turns out it’s not, you probably didn’t do any lasting damage anyway.

It’s like… The fantasy of no one being able to call you sensitive or illogical over your threatened feelings because they actually are reflective of reality, and more importantly, the fantasy of being able to act on those feelings, and be justified in doing so, without fear of really harming anyone. Almost like a power fantasy, in a weird way.

Kinda odd to say that they just messed up the lore when it came to nuking New Vegas. Like. What. I don’t think it’s jumping to conclusions to say that fnv isn’t cannon because of new Vegas getting nuked and the NCR getting destroyed, while the show is considered 100% “cannon.”

As an aside, please dear god I do not want a fucking fallout multiverse where this is all separate timelines. Video game series timelines and lore are always fucked no matter what you do.

I am going to not complain about other people’s takes too often and prefer to just complain about what happens in game, but sometimes you see something so egregious that you just have to say something.
