Summary: BSD Characters with a reader who likes to borrow their clothes

Atsushi Nakajima

He's totally fine with it, and obviously he's not going to refuse. The first time you borrowed a T-shirt from him, He was taken aback and couldn't stop giving you that sweet look… Because of that he got into a lot of trouble…*cough* Kunikida...But the poor guy doesn't take his eyes off you.

Atsushi doesn't understand how you can look so good in his clothes than he does!

Akutagawa Ryuunosuke

As you can imagine, Akutagawa doesn't understand ''couple things'' like that and don't try to make him understand he'll call them trivial… and since they're trivial he doesn't care! Or at least he pretends his face doesn't turn red when he sees you pick up some clothes

Kunikida Doppo

He has so many questions. ''Why…? Why my clothes? You- wait don't- give me back!''

He knows he won't find a ''plausible'' reason, but Kunikida isn't mad, he's actually a little happy so he just sighs and gives you a small smile after writing it down in his notebook so he doesn't forget if one of his clothes is missing.

Chuuya Nakahara

Not only will he lend you his clothes but he will also stylishly match clothes with you. He has a good eye for fashion and nobody can disagree. When you asked if you could borrow any of his clothes his eyes widened and he quickly opened the wardrobe door

Sigma

Much like Chuuya. Sigma also has a good taste in fashion (Did you see his heels?! It's magnificent) and he will never think of this idea as a bad thing. When he sees you wearing one of his clothes at the Casino, he makes a point of taking your hand and making you spin slowly

Gin Akutagawa

*Blush and more blush* She can't answer you right away but know that she is so happy! She feels like those simple things connect the two of you…Gin might even secretly buy you a dress that looks just like hers so that on those rare days off, she can match clothes with her girlfriend on the date she arranged :)

okay this is kind of a continuation of this post (this version specifically)

but basically background knowledge is that atsushi tries to confess to akutagawa, who's convinced that he likes his sister, and while theyre arguing atsushi blurts out that he doesn't like gin, but her brother and akutagawa realizes that that means atsushi likes him like a week later

so he goes to see atsushi a week after essentially unknowingly rejecting him and atsushi is like theres no way u didnt know what i meant and akutagawa doesn't wanna admit he's that stupid so he says he has a long lost brother but after atsushi doesn't believe him he says specifically that chuuya is his brother despite not being related by blood (becuz he and gin think of chuuya as a brother but its an overall unspoken/unacknowledged thing)

fast forward to atsushi running into chuuya and inviting him out to the movies to get to know each other since atsushi is dating his brother and chuuya, who does not know that akutagawa took their unspoken relationship and verbalized it and put a label on it thinks he's talking about paul, who has referred to himself as chuuya's brother

and thats pretty much it

it was getting long so i just started another post

anyway chuuya is horrified that atsushi is dating paul but he doesn't know how to process it so after going home, drinking into oblivion, he calls dazai the next morning saying he has to talk to agency about something really important regarding atsushi

and dazai's like ????

but anyway an ada meeting is called w/ chuuya and without atsushi and it can go two ways

atsushi never told anyone he's dating akutagawa so they all think that he's dating paul too becuz of chuuya and they set of to break them apart becuz they dont think paul is any good for him

the agency knows that atsushi is dating akutagawa and chuuya only refers to atsushi's bf as "the guy atsushi is seeing" and tells them that he's horrible for atsushi and yeah chuuya can sympathize with him but he doesn't think atsushi should be with him and the agency is genuinely horrified that chuuya can say all these things about akutagawa after akutagawa referred to him as his brother

i wish i could add more but paul and chuuya's relationship confuses the hell out of me so someone else take over

but but another interesting thing would be if akutagawa straight up thought atsushi was talking about chuuya and somehow they end up with

atsushi liking akutagawa

but akutagawa thinking he likes gin and then chuuya

and chuuya thinking atsushi likes paul

and gin knowing atsushi likes ryuu

and its just misunderstanding after misunderstanding

kunikida: black metal. (this makes me so happy for some reason, i always like it when ppl make kunikida a wild card)

chuuya: sludge🐌 metal lmao. but also. bro is the biggest NWOBHM enthusiast. loves thrash. loves groove metal. likes nu but prefers old school. the only one i hc as a full-on metalhead on this list (also maybe yosano)

yosano: gives me melodic death metal vibes for some reason (she could be into all types of death metal tbh. she's inherently metal. i love her sm, she's so cool)

akutagawa: gothic metal. you saw this coming from a mile away. but otherwise i don't think he's that big on metal tbh. which is good bc he'd be the biggest metal elitist ever. calls you a poser in victorian child speak. t4t kousano ? i think yes. they take estrogen at the same time of the day bc they say its a bonding thing (it so is)

sometimes sigma wakes up and his hair is in a really nice braided bun or something. (nikolai did it) (its very pretty) (sigma doesn't take it down until he absolutely has to, if not the end of the day)

chuuya keeps bandage wrap in several places in his apartment because he KNOWS dazai just shows up because for some reason he never bothered to take back his apartment key so dazai will pop in to just chill so he just keeps bandage wrap there for him. he also keeps canned crab in a little minifridge in his bedroom so it doesn't clutter his main fridge

jouno LOVES LOVES LOVES chocolate stuff. specifically chocolate covered strawberries he adores them with his whole heart. tecchou thinks its odd (he thinks strawberries in cocktail sauce is way better) but he's made jouno some damn good chocolate covered strawberries because he knows he likes them. i imagine sometimes he'll buy white strawberries and dip them in white chocolate so BOTH of them can enjoy them (even though tecchou thinks they're waaay too sweet, jouno really likes them so he'll eat them with him to make him happy)

a head-canon of mind is i think post-oda’s death dazai 100% “doesn’t allow” himself to get attached to people, bc he thinks eventually everything he has will be lost. this manifests in him constantly keeping a persona with everyone he interacts with and never showing true emotional vulnerability.

HOWEVER. i also think that dazai-post-oda’s-death compulsively fills his hours strategizing on how to protect those people he “doesn’t care about” from harm. i’m talking notebooks upon notebooks crowding his dorm filled with data and analysis on the ada and select port mafia members’ strengths and weaknesses, who and what might threaten them, and how he would prevent that threat before it could even happen.

i think dazai believes he’s a curse on everyone he knows, and he has to expend his only asset (his mind) on ensuring he’ll be able to thwart the curse before it ever comes to fruition. because last time he kept someone close to him and damned all the consequences, they died.

tachigin high school au where tachihara is a jock who doesn't actually know if he likes his sport or his friends very much and one of the few times he skips practice, he finds gin smoking on the bleachers outside. he asks how she gets away with it and gin shrugs and offers him a cigarette, which he accepts because he wants to seem personable to her.

he coughs up a lung or two.

they get to talking and tachihara finds that he's mostly talking at her instead of with her, because she's quiet, and they're smoking, and that's fine, and when they get on the topic, gin offers to burn him a CD if he was being genuine about his curiosity in her music taste, and tachihara takes her up on it.

he doesn't assume to ever see her again - not talking to him, at least - and the smell of nicotine lingers on his jacket longer than he'd like it to, and he wonders too much about her. why her nail polish is chipped, why her hands are so callused and her knuckles bruised, why there's a bruise against her jaw, why she seemed like she cared so little about everything happening around them like it wasn't tachihara's entire world.

ok look i get that the whole akutagawa rescue thing was supposed to be focused on higuchi and her feelings about the port mafia/her coworkers/aku himself/etc etc but there is no fucking way aku would've been gone for more than like an hour or two tops. i know for a fact that gin would've been ready to go the second she found out her brother had been kidnapped. those two went through actual hell together before they joined the mafia, and i'm sure they had slowly decided that they were somewhat safer in the mafia now that they had other people they could trust, and suddenly ryuu gets taken and i would bet money gin's immediate reaction was something along the lines of "no not again we were supposed to be safe here we were supposed to stick together" and she is not abandoning her brother, not now, not ever

she breaks in, gets ryuu, and breaks out before it even occurs to higuchi that mori wasn't going to send a rescue party. by the time she starts preparing to go in alone gin is already back and has ryuu hooked up to all the medical shit again while the other black lizards just watch in surprise and poorly disguised awe

atsushi: he tries to drink enough most days but he gets headaches because man is dehydrated

dazai: fuck no, absolutely not. next question.

kunikida: he drinks the perfect amount of water. no more, no less. this man is ideally hydrated

yosano: queen is hydrated and her skin is glowing

ranpo: no. i personally believe he only drinks soda and juice

kyoka: hmmm i want to say yes but i feel like the answer is no…

kenji: yes! he reminds kyoka to drink water and brings her juice and snacks

tanizaki: he always has a waterbottle that naomi mooches off and refills, so yes

fukuzawa: most of the time, yes! he reminds the others to drink water, too :)

chuuya: it’s a roulette game with him, some days he’s thriving, other days he’s dehydrated, messy, and on the brink of passing out

akutagawa: GOD NO. he is a disaster and often is forced to take sips from the communal water bottle

higuchi: she’s trying her best, wants to bring a water bottle to work but forgets. asks to take sips from the communal water bottle

gin: yes! has a glass of iced water in the morning, and keeps a hydroflask! lets others mooch off of her, too. communal water bottle holder <3

tachihara: he probably has to drink about a gallon of water a day with all of his surgeries, so he’s properly hydrated!

hirotsu: well hydrated and keeps a balanced diet. he’s a healthy old man!

kouyou: the goddess herself stays hydrated, it’s the secret to her perfect skin

mori: he drinks red wine and i hope he dehydrates and dies

oda: not only is he hydrated, but he also reminds dazai and ango to drink water. he’s also taking care of, like, six orphans. he’s doing amazing

fyodor: rat man. anemic. terrorist. dehydrated. the only water he’s had in the last week was from a mystery, crinkled up plastic water bottle in the back of the DOAs fridge

nikolai: he really likes juice… so i guess there’s water in that

sigma: he has maybe a cup of water a day, or drinks water only when he starts to feel dizzy. dehydrated king

bram: he drinks nothing but the finest blood, hasn’t had a drop of water in over 200 years

Hi I'm here to drop a random headcanon

Higuchi will sometimes come into work sporting a fever, but pays no mind to it up until she either collapses or gets delirious enough for someone else to notice.

ANON MARRY ME....thank you for the higuchi headcanon 😭 i love this i really would die for the over working trope...Higuchi takes her work with Akutagawa very seriously and she will absolutely not rest until her work for the day is done!! Akutagawa tends to be oblivious to things like this and most of the time won't notice until it's too late but Gin and Tachihara pay close attention to her bc of her past tendencies to do this 💔 they both try their best to convince her to rest when she's overdoing it (Gin usually ends up winning) and they'll make her rest on the couch in the little break room they have unless it's bad enough that she needs right stay at the infirmary (they'll always take her there if she collapses). i also love the idea of her getting too good at hiding it. no one noticing until she starts acting really strange (asking questions that don't make any sense, or crying with no explanation) and that sends everyone into panic mode like okay shit she is not okay right now
