ok y'all, as of tonight I've temporarily set the queue to post once a day instead of twice! this will affect the time it posts as well, and I'll definitely go back to twice a day once I'm done with this batch of requests

(tho... to be 10000% honest, I'll most likely peace out for a bit after I do that, half to focus on other fandoms/content and half because it'll probably be near the start of NaNoWriMo or slightly into it by the time I finish this batch, and NaNo will obviously take a lot of my attention lol)

BUT, we're getting there! I currently have 31 requests left, and when I get to about 25 I'll redo my list one last time (because I just can't help myself XD) and I'm really really close, I'm super hoping I'll be at 25 by tomorrow night!

jaykyle au where they're theatre kids in the same school but they're not the actors jason's the scriptwriter/director and kyle is the prop manager (i don't know the official terms sorry) and they'd probably do an amazing job on the backstage setting if they could stop arguing for 5 whole seconds about their artistic visions and ideas and how "this would obviously work better this way"

I'm still alive. I've had a severe vacation hangover all week long. I think that's what happens when you have a booked work week after you return from a few days of fun. Tack on a few extremely emotional sequence of events in my day to day life and you get a VERY drained me 🤷‍♀️ Never fear, the weekend is so near. I'm looked forward to a large glass of wine (or two 😏) later.

To everyone who's been following @borg-collective, aka Marc, please unfollow/block/report him. Back in September I blocked him on all platforms because of weird, creepy & (though non-threatening) stalker behaviour on Tumblr, Instagram and even in real life. Didn't want to make a big deal about it, so I blocked him and left it at that. Yesterday however, I found out that apparently he's been impersonating me on Tumblr for the past two months through @deadrock-n-rollsociety - which is my old URL that I used for years. I'm super creeped out, so please help me by getting this guy off Tumblr.

How is Marc impersonating me?

He took my old URL, deadrock-n-rollsociety (screenshot 1)

He recreated my current header that features 2 (Nord) keyboards (compare screenshot 2 to my header)

He's been reblogging the exact same posts I have, usually a day later, through the same users that I reblogged it from. Until yesterday it was never directly from my own blog, just from my mutuals. (screenshot 3)

He's been blogging about my interests (specific musical artists/bands, playing piano, the 2 movies I based my old URL on (Dead Poets Society & Almost Famous), etc.)

Blogging about the same stuff shouldn't be sus per se, but all these things combined make it very clear to me and my friends that he's targeting me. Also, not really related to me I guess, but what the hell is that profile picture? Slightly feels like a threat. (screenshot 4)

How do I know it's Marc?

Gut feeling. I know that's no hard evidence, but I don't know anyone else who would do this and I haven't had anyone else that has been showing stalker behaviour towards me except for him.

From around May - September 2023 he based most of his reblogs on borg-collective on my specific interests, followed all the same (local) bands on Instagram that I follow, basically based his whole personality on me, started showing up at my gigs unannounced. Would make sense if he's doing it again this time.

He used the tag "#pretty moots" on both this impersonator blog and his main blog (screenshot 5 & 6)

He's been reblogging some of the same posts on both @deadrock-n-rollsociety and @borg-collective, both through the same source. (screenshot 7 & 8)

This guy is in his 30's, impersonating a random girl he met on Tumblr a year ago. If that's not sad I don't know what is. Luckily it's still not really anything directly threatening, but I'm so tired of this guy not being able to leave me alone. I don't understand what his game or goal is here, but the whole situation is making me feel SUPER uncomfortable. So please help me out by getting this guy off Tumblr.

This might not be anything, but while writing about your fics, the way you have the characters' mannerisms down PERFECTLY got me thinking about mirroring...

There's a lot of it in 7 (Horii is a directorial genius etc etc), most of it more intentional than these probably are, but there's something so interesting about mirroring that takes the tone of a (relatively) fond memory, a familiar gesture, and inverts it in the way shown here.

OH I'M GLAD YOU'VE NOTICED THESE TOO I think I mentioned it months back (or I drafted a post 'bout it but didn't think it was anything noteworthy) but I always really did like how the Arakawa Family mimicked each other's mannerisms (also circling back to how Jo and Masato calling Ichiban 'Ichi' presumably after picking it up from Arakawa)!

Aoki actually does the same sitting gesture too! I went back to double check and skim through the rest of the game's cutscenes, and as far as I could tell unless I skipped a scene, it really is only these three that do this specific pose:

It's such a small detail but I love it immensely and it really does highlight their connections with each other and it drives me insane
