3 ships: Obikin (x3 lol) - Right now, they’re my only ship. This is going to sound lame, but I can’t casually ship characters. I go insane for my ships. Like they consume my life. I only have time for Obikin at the moment and they’re destroying me.

first ever ship: Scully/Mulder - Yep. That’s how old I am lol. I wrote my first X-files fanfic while I was in HS, but it wasn’t until college that I realized that’s what I was doing. Back then, the internet was just a baby and there was no fanfiction.net or LJ or AO3. X-files fanfics were housed on gossamer and when I found it, it was like this awakening for me that other people did this too. That’s also how I discovered smut. Good times lol.

History: He is the adoptive brother of Idia and Ortho, although Zen doesn't consider himself part of that family, he has a fondness for the Shroud brothers (But he will deny it whenever he can).

He is a boy with dark circles, unsociable and moody, who hates leaving his room...But he has to, because someone has to bring Idia's butt to his meetings with the other leaders and so that he doesn't go locked in his room playing video games and reading manga. For that reason some of the Ignihyde members consider Zen a Vice Dorm Leader, even though he is not actually one.

History: Perseus or Percy (for his friends, if he has “friends”) is a boy born into a rich family in the Land of Pyroxene. He is known for being a vain, ill-tempered student and while he may be patient, you don’t want to be around him when he loses it. When he wants something from someone, he acts falsely and manipulatively to get it. But in case he fails, then he will take a more direct and intimidating attitude.

Secretly, he is a fan of reptiles and has a baby crocodile as a pet in his room, which he treats with great affection, but you did not hear it from me! Okay!?

Hello hello! Oooh excellent question, let me pull up a few!

4115 campus drive (Iwaoi, Haikyuu, 1.9k): I started this fic in 2020 as Haikyuu's last arc was going on in the manga but couldn't figure out how to finish it until 2022. One of my friends getting super into Haikyuu in 2022 inspired me to return to it! So this fic is dedicated to her.

you’ve got nothing on my tendency (to be led astray) (BNHA, Dabihawks, 4.5k): This was inpired by a Zen Cho short story and a twitter meme I can't find anymore about demon summoning. the plot is that touya summons hawks (with his art student chalk circle drawing skills in the park) to deal with his father, but then hawks keeps asking for touya's hand in marriage. This one is special to me because it kind of popped out of nowhere after I got inspired by the memes--I still love it a lot.

there and back again (JJK, Stsg, 96k): LOL my longest fic. I had a bunch of external life things converge in 2022 in a bad way, plus I was thinking about quitting writing fanfic for the time being because it was taking away time from other writing and it wasn't fun--I had spent a lot of time writing speak too soon (my 20k stsg reality TV AU) that summer. Don't get me wrong, I think speak too soon is a great fic—I enjoyed diving into Gojo's POV enough to want to write more of it in a celebrity AU and some scenes still make me laugh while reading it—but I felt like I wasn't writing the kind of things I like reading the most and also kind of betrayed myself as an artist by changing it stylistically to fit the kinds of things I thought ao3 readers tended to like. So I decided to make there and back again one last hurrah of a longfic. I put everything I had into it and made it something I would have liked to read and reflected my personal taste accurately, and in the process of writing it, I discovered I wasn't done with fics. I think now that I will probably be writing fanfics forever—it'll ebb and flow with my life, of course, but I don't think I'll ever quit for good.

Hi! Just moved to tumblr here and I wanted to tell you how much I love your story. I saw A LOT of kny roleswaps cuz I love this trope so damn much. There’re many good ones but it’s rare to find one that hits me right in my kokoro like yours did. Since the first chapter, the way Nezuko repeatedly thought “Takeo was dead… Mom was dead… Rokuta was dead… But Tanjiro was still alive” was so haunting yet beautiful in such a heartbroken way. It hurts even more when you realized Nezuko was only twelve when her whole world was shattered in blood, and not to mention the amount of feels that is Zenitsu. I’ll admit that the rollercoaster of emotions it gave me was what got me so invested in your fanfic to the point of keeping on coming up with one theory after another though.

But one question first, I saw you saying Tamayo’s husband will be an OC, does that mean her three children are OCs too? Their no-nonsense attitude and the cold glares they gave Genya really remind me of the certain someone though*stares at the girl with plum red eyes*

And before I delve into my theories, remember when I brought up Dabi’s infamous quote? Let me tell you I honestly didn’t expect Kai and Zen’s development to be actually inspired by Endeavor and Dabi’s storyline here. It’s does make a lot of sense though as your Kaigaku really has many things in common with Endeavor now that I think of it, especially with how they thoroughly ruined someone’s life out of their own selfishness and the way it’s gonna come back to bite them HARD later. And the fact that I was today years old when I found out Dabi and Zenitsu have the same VA*surprised Pikachu face* 

Wait, does that mean Nezuko’s gonna be Shoto in this scenario?

Regardless, while I admit that my knowledge of MHA is limited since I didn’t really watch the show, I have watched enough clips scattered all over YouTube to get the gist of it. So, if Endeavor’s reaction to Dabi’s reveal is anything to go by, I’m so looking forward to how Kaigaku and Zenitsu’s “Dabi’s Dance” will go. Even more so if you decide to throw in the Hashira’s reaction when/if they also learn of Kaigaku’s crimes. And if he still did what he did to Himejima and other kids, I honestly can see a few of them straight up calling for Kaigaku’s execution right then and there.

As for my Upper Moon guesses, the angry male demon, I saw a few comments saying that it was Sanemi but I doubt it. The meeting occurred ten years ago so Sanemi would still be a kid back then. So nope, not him for me. Therefore, I’m gonna go for unconventional choice and guess that it was Hairo, former Lower Moon 2, as he’s legit the only character whose rage surpasses Sanemi’s. And since Gyokko was downgraded into a common demon, I’m crossing my fingers that there’ll be a canon lower moon who got upgraded into an Upper Moon here.

But other UMs’ identity aside, Upper Moon Two gotta be Shinobu. Something about Koku and the DK asking for UM Two’s opinion about the chance of reanimating Zenitsu’s corpse just screams Shinobu to me. And for that reason, I’m gonna guess that Kanae is in Tamayo’s place judging from her character tag. It would put the Kocho Sisters in the opposite side of the war but what can I say, I’m always in for Sibling Drama*evil cackling*

Honestly, role-swaps are one of my favorite fanfic tropes to read, and there were just so many goods ones within the KNY fandom that I decided to bite the bullet and try my hands at it. I've been having a lot of fun with it and the direction it has been going, so hearing that readers have been enjoying it never fails to make my day!

I honestly didn't even expect it to turn out this angsty in the beginning (lol). The main goal I had when initially writing the first chapter was just to capture how tragic/horrifying the attack on the Kamado family would be from Nezuko's POV, while making it unique compared to what must have been going through canon Tanjiro's mind. Twelve and thirteen are really young ages to experince so much trauma, and then having to uproot your entire life to find a way to protect your remaining family is a heavy burden to bear.

The same goes for Nezuko's interactions with Zenitsu, as both of them were barely even teenagers when so much happened to them. I definitely think underlying tragedies with character relationships and confrontations of the past are going to become more prominent themes than I initially intended, and I'm excited to show those as I continue to write more of the series.

(Slight Manga Spoilers Ahead)

But to answer your question, yes, I do plan on making Tamayo's children OCs for now. Like her husband, we only got a brief mention of them by Muzan and Tamayo during their final confrontation in the Infinity Castle Arc. I wasn't able to find anything on what their canon appearances/personalities would be, so I figured unless more information comes up about them, I'll make them OCs. I suppose one benefit of this is it gives me a little more room to plan out how they will impact her role/arcs as leader of the Corps in this AU (oh, and more info will be given on the girl with the red eyes later...because I do have plans for her...).

In terms of the Dabi & Endeavor similarities between Kaigaku & Zenitsu, it sort of just started happening as I was planning out that specific storyline. Sometimes my writing unintentionally picks up things from shows and books I've read in the past, and I think it was around the time that the Dabi v. Endeavor & Shoto fight was animated that I began to see the potential similarities between the encounters.

I've had many conversations with friends about MHA's take on the Todoroki family drama, especially in regard to Endeavor's character development and change from his negative actions toward his children and wife to being a better father/hero. And one of the things that I've come to understand coming out of those discussions was that although forgiveness and forgetting aren't satisfying solutions in moving past that part of his character, there are still ways to make things at least a bit better by striving for atonement and mitigating what damage has already been done by taking responsibility for it without any excuses.

As I've said in posts before, the one thing I definitely wanted to make clear early on is that it is totally up to readers to decide if Kaigaku is worth rooting for. He's done terrible things and hurt a lot of people, but he's trying to make a change for the better. But doing that isn't as putting the past behind him, especially since there are characters who do know the bits and pieces of some of the damage he's done (such as Kuwajima and, very soon, Nezuko).

So as predictable as it may be at this point, there definitely will be a Kaigaku v. Zenitsu fight in the late future, which will be one of several major confrontations of Kaigaku's past coming back to haunt him and the people he's learning to become closer to. Kaigaku will have gone through a lot of change by then, along with us getting a closer look at his past (as I have ideas to fill in the gaps of his early life that the manga didn't really touch on yet, though that may change depending on how much the anime decides to add when Infinity Castle gets animated) and understanding a bit better the motive behind some of his actions. It won't be an excuse for what he's done, but a build-up to him learning to take responsibility for what he's done, and what he can do now to fix the damage he's done.

So I guess that would make Nezuko the Shoto of this confrontation, being caught in the middle of the conflict, but knowing that this is still a fight she has to take part in to put Zenitsu to rest.

(Also yeah I was shocked when I found out both Zenitsu and Dabi share a Sub VA (lol). You'd be surprised how many VAs share roles in MHA and KNY. I think one of my favorites is the fact that Genya's Sub VA voices Bakugo and his Dub VA also voices Hawks!)

I will say this, almost all of the bad stuff Kaigaku did in the manga is canon in this series. And I can confirm that at least THREE of the hashira know some of the terrible things Kaigaku did in the past (with at least one of them knowing EVERYTHING about his past). But as for if more hashira will find out about his past, that is yet to be confirmed...

And regarding your guesses on the Upper Moons...I will say those are some VERY interesting theories that I can't wait to confirm if they are correct or not...

Also, in case anyone was curious or confused about demons being Kizuki, the canon Lower and Upper Moons aren't guaranteed to be Moons in this AU unless they are explicitly stated to be ones. For example, Wakuraba (the winged demon Nezuko and Tanjiro ran into in Chapters 3-5) was Lower Three in canon, but was just a regular demon in this AU. And Gyokko, who was Upper Five in canon, was also a regular demon that took the place of the Hand Demon from Final Selection in canon. Some of the Moons MAY change ranking in the AU, but if they aren't stated to be Kizuki, then they are just regular demons.

But I'll definitely will give the canon Lower Moons some chances to shine since they didn't get much of a chance in canon. Who knows, maybe the next demon Nezuko meets will have been a Lower Moon in the canon timeline...

I also think its incredibly funny how down bad all the interests feel, it was certainly something replying to a Tweet and seeing affection go up, they are not normal, but thats not necessarily a bad thing, it certainly is How It Is with these things, adjklnadlkjn-

y'know what's funny, i usually do not get super into things that are romance centered. occasionally i'll have little hyperfixations on something like titanic 1997 or descendants of the sun but on the whole the stuff that i brainrot on heavily is usually some action/adventure with a little romance sprinkled in. and then through fanfic i'll lean heavily into the romance part lol.

and then i played mysme and i was like. holy crap. do i like this? do i enjoy the romance genre? i had jumin han brainrot for at least half a year before i watched my hero (sidenote getting into a new brainrot actually feels like cheating on my last one). and i tried playing obey me and wasn't into it, but love and deepspace has sucked me in so so deeply even though i think if someone was selling it to me like "these three guys love the mc so much they act like they absolutely can't live without her despite this being the literal first arc of the story" i don't think i'd be interested.

but man have they done it so well. they have animated and created the personalities for these men so incredibly well. whenever i'm selfshipping or thinking about x reader stuff or whatever, i never brainrot on more than one character aside from like maybe reading smut about them. like i could read the occasional zen oneshot but jumin had my heart completely and forever and there was no competition. erwin or dabi thirsts or even fluff/angst stuff is totally okay but i was not investing time in anyone but levi. but now i genuinely can't decide between these three. they're all too perfect and they all hit a certain archetype of fictional man that i go insane for. i'm in hell and nirvana and rafayel is my male primadonna.

I've gone from a casual fan to owning every published manga volume almost entirely because your fanfic caught me by the throat.

This DELIGHTS me, since I would not be in this fandom had I not gone to AO3 after I finished the anime (and right as I was reaching the part in the manga that diverges from it), and found @krispy-kream an @infinitelystrangemachinex's fics. I was already vaguely inclined to Obi after season 2, and was neutral on her relationship with Zen, and then I read Knots and was like, oh okay, so I'm not going to be normal about this ever again. And then I started reading ISM's fics right afterward and went "this girl is holding up this whole pairing by herself, I should write something."

And now we are here. With people reading my stuff and being like, oh good, I'm about to be Not Normal about this pairing 🤣 I'm so glad that I was able to pull you along with me.

I was wondering if you could tell me more abour your Hello Puppets universe

Pardon me, this post is going to be a long one. Surprise, I was inspired by reading fanfics online from the completed and the incomplete. I made the characters for everyone to use for their fanfics, and it blossomed from there. I like the idea of a bunch of college students who are the last people we think would save the world from a bunch of murderous puppets about to start a puppet zombie apocalypse and the need for a happy Scout for once. I even have some drawing ideas for possible scenarios of what can go down in the story if Host (or I call him Adam from the fanfic by Vast_Horizon, Stitches) and Scout both survived the original game. However, like in Dracula, after escaping the nightmare, in this case, Handeemen HQ, the horrors follows the characters home endangering everyone they know, love, and meet. Hey, Actions have Consequences!!! Despite not fully Adam and Scout's faults. So yeah, these character designs are free for everyone to use and to rename for their AUs as long I'm credited in the design part. This is each of the characters so far from the ones I made, characters from the games, and game trailers…

Adam: Our Average Joe, Adam, lived a decently normal life but wants to have some adventures, but didn't ask to become a 'volunteer host' for a puppet takeover. The reason Adam is in this mess, he included Mortimer's Handeemen at the number one spot in a top ten ideas for a drinking game in an article he wrote. It bit his hand eventually when Adam got sent for a last-minute Halloween article for the college paper. For us who played or watched both games, this didn't end well for Adam. I ironically made Host Adam similar to Owen with some differences. Like it was destiny for someone like Adam to come to the Handeemen HQ. Be free to create theories on how Owen and Adam (or your chosen name) are connected. Crazy coincidence that Mortimer took advantage of to get back to the old days messing with Owen, an unknown child/grandchild, lost relatives, etc. Go wild!!!

Cassandra: Cassandra, the editor who sent Adam in the first place. The opposite of Riley Ruckus where she happily says "More Data!", you hear Cassandra stress scream "More Deadlines!".

Scout Harper (Insert Last Name): Survivor of the Handeemen Fire turned college professor and loving mother of another college student, Eve, Adam meets in the sketch comic I made. However, her world shatters again when Adam introduces the puppet, Scout.

Eve: Scout Harper's daughter who once loved the Mortimer's Handeemen TV show, until Adam got kidnapped by them. Yes, I named Eve after the story of Adam and Eve and Paradise Lost.

Jeff: The unknown guy with anger issues from the TV interview in the Midnight Show’s Announcement Trailer claiming the puppets caused the fire that I just named him Jeff. I made Jeff a gas station owner who warns anyone not to be out alone at night or never be near the former HQ to anyone who listens. Adam should of listen to him.

I also made three other students who are friends with Adam. If in the Stitches fanfic as an example, they could be Tyler, Stacy (who was also inspired by the fanfic Outside by CreativeSkull), and June. However, be free to rename them in your stories if you wish. Ok don’t get me wrong I love stannarator as much as the next gay but canonically it would not work like at all. And not because the narrator is literally just a disembodied voice.

The narrator would definitely fall in love with Stanley without a doubt. He’s so obsessed with his own creation. Like so obsessed with Stanley. Take the zending for example the narrator could stop Stanley at anytime yet doesn’t. He has control of the doors and stuff right? Why couldn’t he just close the door behind Stanley when he waked into the zen room. Because he’s so determined to not mess up the story. He’s so invested in it that’s he willing to witness that over and over again instead of changing the story

But Stanley on the other hand would not. He despises the narrator. He goes to any length just to piss of the narrator. Like physical pain just to make him mad. He’s so petty. In the skip button ending he sits and listens to the narrator spiral himself to insanity. Yet he still hits the button.

It occurred to me I can post the rambling notes at the end of each fanfic chapter here on Tumblr and just link to the post so that I don't overfill the whole AO3 end notes box. And then I can be EVEN MORE RAMBLING if I want to be, without feeling stressed about it! *lets ADHD brain off the leash*

...anyway, um. I contained myself to a sentence or two with chapters 1 and 2, but it started getting out of control with chapter 3.

Notes for A Matter of Duty - Chapter 3: May have overestimated myself

Someday I will end a chapter on a positive note, but today is not that day. Tomorrow isn't looking so good either. It'll get better eventually, I promise a happy (ish?) ending and some comfort for all the hurt, it's just... going to get a lot worse before we get there.

My Google search history is a ride right now. This fic is spurring the strangest research. Have a sampling of the more interesting stuff for this chapter:

Ichigenkin: A video of someone playing the single-string zither that Ayato prefers.

Koto: The most *delightful* video of a koto master teaching a very enthusiastic, nerdy guitar player about the koto and how to play it. Their joy is infectious.

MA - The Japanese concept of space and time: A beautiful reflection on ma.

The history of lube: Genshin has elemental oils and they're too easy to incorporate into porn, but I found this fascinating. The equivalent period in Japan (Edo period / Tokugawa Shogunate) would have used tororo-jiru, a substance made from grated and mashed yams. Or clove oil (...I feel like that would burn? Mixed with camellia oil, it's traditional for lubricating Samurai swords and knives from tarnish and rust, so maybe the camellia oil makes it less, uh. Burning?). Before that, they used carrageenan from seaweed (also in China).

Japanese sex toys as portrayed in ancient Shunga: NSFW Edo-period graphic texts about sex toys in Edo period Japan. It's fascinating. I can't find any evidence of butt plugs in that period of Japan but they had them in Han dynasty China, and I'm sure Fontaine has had something like that for ages, so we're going with it for the sake of convenience.

Specifically, he's practicing Ānāpānasati, because that's the kind of meditation I was trained in and know intimately (thanks, hippie Tibetan Buddhist-founded graduate counseling program), so it's easier for me to write about. Historically speaking, he'd probably be more likely to practice the Japanese Zazen meditation, or maybe a Zen version of anapana, but I'm unfamiliar with how it shows up in Zen; the version I wrote is probably closer to anapana in the Theravadan (common to south and southeast Asia) or Tibetan traditions.

I have seen tons of negative posts against content creators. Some were more vague and some mentioned specific names

I saw we*alala being called out multiple times with lengthy posts , I don’t even remember what reasons they were called out for, seemed pretty stupid to me anyways

Baker’s d*zen, the fic, was also criticized multiple times with posts from people who called it ridiculous because in that fic sasuke gets stripped off his powers and yet he accepts is and stays with naruto

Also I’ve seen posts against h*eaing the broken by k1zukatana because in that fic sasuke has a drug problem and he gets through it thanks to Naruto’s love

I saw other posts like these but I can’t remember them now

Are they a realistic representation of what would have happened between sasuke and naruto? Who knows.

Is it to naive to write a story where they get over their serious problems just thanks to their love ? Sure

Doest this give you the right to not want to read the fic ? Sure

Does this give you the right to bitch about in on tumblr with your followers ? Also sure

But to me , it’s just an asshole move. People are allowed to explore their creativity as much as they want, to tackle every trope and every dynamic even if it’s naive and unrealistic and even toxic. It’s fiction and we have to separate it from real life and imo writing about something doesn’t mean you would act like that in real life

Regarding that second Fanfic you mentioned here, I checked it now and I could clearly see why it was being criticized or trashed... And the other fics (???), I could figure out the reason though. And why is it all related to Sasuke's portrayal anyway?

Let me say this, Famous NaruSasu doujinka Emi/10 Rankai is a certified Sasuke stan. The amount of Sasuke centric works she did was unmatchable and unparalleled. To my knowledge, She literally drew atleast 3 doujinshis where Naruto has no presence at all.... And yet in most of her works... there is one thing that was very common about Sasuke which these people find it to be "so weak". I am not gonna say what it is here. So, Are they going to say Emi is not a good artist because she didn't draw as per their whims???

But this is a Canon fact though, isn't it??? Sasuke got over his Hatred because of Naruto's love is what the entire Chapter 698 is all about, Right???

It's one thing to criticize or bash a paid work like Naruto Manga or any other Movies or Series. But Fanfiction or Fan Arts are something that was done for Free and we can always chose to ignore it or even block it. I've literally answered few asks where the asker mentioned that they got into SNS because of the Fanart they saw from Twitter... But Openly Name calling and bashing them would only drive the content creators out of the already old Fandom. If there are no more content creators, then the fandom would die out eventually... That's something I wish it would never happen for SNS.

Hey! What was your favourite thing you've written - fanfic or headcannon. What makes it your favourite?

Hello! So, the other question in my inbox already contained this question but since I wanted to go through my Masterlist to check my writings to find an answer, I decided to write my answer on here.

The first thing as my favorite writing that came to my mind was something with Jumin, as he is my favorite character I can't help but love everything around him.

And for something to become my favorite, it needs to be exciting, almost angsty. I want it to make me hold in my breath because of the fear I am feeling, ( and it tends to be a HC with Mc being pregnant so ) so my favorites Headcanons would be those:

RFA + Minor Trio with a MC who takes antidepressants after their argument

Waking up near a pregnant MC who is feeling unwell

Earthquake while Mc is pregnant

RFA with a Mc who goes into labor while being in an argument with them  -> Scenario for the Minor Trio here !  

RFA + Minor Trio have an argument with a pregnant Mc who feels a sharp pain afterwards - absolute fav!

Mc gets into an accident after she argues with the RFA

RFA + Minor Duo with a Mc who get’s injured while playing sports

RFA forgets their wedding anniversary

THE.MUN

How long have you been roleplaying?. It's been at least 10 years, that's for sure. Maybe a little more, I don't really keep track anymore.

What platforms have you played on?. I was biggest on Gai.aOn.line and N.eoP.ets in the public sphere before coming to Tumblr. Other than that it's always been private over texts with my closest friend.

Do you make other fanworks, or just roleplay?. When I'm inspired enough I like to write fanfics! But lately I just like to fantasize and find works other people have done. Mostly art, I can't bring myself to read fanfics.

Do you prefer canon, divergent or au?. Personally I like to stick to canon when it comes to backstory. But when it comes to rp? I'm open to change. Let's see what we can do!

How many languages do you write in?. Just English, anything else is google translated and I'm really sorry for that 😂

Where you do you get your inspiration?. I don't know a lot of the time, especially right now when I'm struggling to want to write. Used to be I could just watch or read whatever canon was available or consume whatever I associated with my specific characters. But, life has gotten in the way too much lately that it doesn't always work.

Do you write with music?. Depends on how I'm feeling. Sometimes my playlists are enough, sometimes I go and find some specific mood playlist on YouTube. How I'm feeling matters and also the tone of whatever I'm writing. But, over all typically yes.

THE.MUSES

How many characters do you write?. On this blog I have 8. Outside of here, all my FANDOMLESS and other canons? It's hard to say when you have to factor in side characters as well haha! But I have like 10 other blogs at least.

Who was your first rp muse?. The first one... Actually would be the first two. The original story my friend and I tried to write, I had two characters, Xaviee and Cassia. They were the best sort of opposites attract that I still love, even if I've long since stopped writing them.

Who is your most recent muse?. Most recent on this blog is technically Aiden Pearce of Watch Dogs, even though he hasn't been officially added yet. Before that is just another idea who also does not have a blog yet.

Which three (3) OCs do you wish got more attention?. Well... My OCs are all other blogs, I don't want to seem like I'm trying to beg for any attention there (I'm taking a break from them at the moment) but, @itsagraywcrld Eloise Gray and Cody I especially wish got more attention. And also my boi @homemadehappiness Simon Baker. I love my babies, I just need the inspiration to get back to writing the.

Which three (3) canons do you wish got more attention?. Oh god Jordi Chin, Elias Bouchard, and Zenyatta for sure. They are by far my 3 strongest and faves. Zen hasn't gotten any attention, but I've been more or less hesitant to reach out as much. I need to sort him out again.

What song always reminds you of a character? Which one?. My OCs absolutely have them, but the ones here I haven't really found yet. Aside from ones that came out of the canon material like Run Boy Run by Woodkid for Five. Sound of Silence might fit for Oliver Banks 😂

Do you have character playlists?. I'm terrible at making playlists 😂 I have Pinterest boards though.

Do you have characters you used to write, but don’t anymore?. Oh so many. Some I truly love more than others, but have no way to really know how to take them out of their respective stories. Also Tohru Honda. She's one I'd love to write again, but don't know if I will.

Any you’d love to bring out of retirement?. Mmm... Not sure about that one chief. It always depends on what I'm into. Though I will say, one that I may very well take back out is Yato. As soon as I get my butt together and finish Nor.agami.

Characters you love, but could never write?. Markus (DBH) is one. Now I don't think I NEVER could, he just doesn't mesh with my brain I guess. I'd love to try, but I really don't know if I would succeed. Or if I even should try. I'm already hesitant on Aiden Pearce.... I think my problem is main characters 😂 they are harder for me. Five is pushing that boundary just enough. Oh, writing ahead, I'd love to write like the Ma.ndalo.rian or something too, but I'm too afraid to touch anything sta.r wa.rs. I don't know enough to even try. I just love the show.... And aesthetic....

Do you like shipping?. Yeah! Absolutely. The good, bad, and ugly.

Single or multiship?. Multiship!!!!

What was your first ship?. My very first two muses, that I mentioned above, technically would be the first ship since they were written to be together. But my first ship written with another person... Was my first Det.roit: Bec.ome Huma.n blog for Simon. I had such a wholesome ship with a Daniel whom I adored and still miss to this day and just hope they are doing well.

Which ship have you always wanted to try writing?. Right now? I wish there were some DBH blogs still around so I could write with Josh. I... Totally ship him with Simon and with Markus. But I'm open to ship him with basically anyone because it could be fun!

Are there any popular ships you love?. Well.... I love Simon/Markus for DBH, and also Markus/North wholeheartedly. Looking to Magnus Archives? Who the heck wouldn't love Jon/Martin.

Ones you hate?. Hate is a strong word... Because just because they aren't for me doesn't mean I hate them. That being said, I highly dislike Zenyatta/Genji (romantically I can't get behind it) for overwa.tch, for Magnus - Elias/Peter Lu.kas (I like the vibe of a divorced couple but not it actually being that. I just don't see it), and also for watch dogs Jordi/Aiden.

Any guilty pleasure ships?. Simon/Daniel was definitely a sort of guilty pleasure for sure. Also Simon/North? Just love?? And Elijah/Chloe. I ship them romantically as much as platonically.

Do you ship anything ‘problematic’?. I have had a truly problematic one in the past, but that's all I'll say about it.

Do you have any ships you miss?. I kinda already jumped the gun with Simon/Daniel. I haven't really had many others that didn't last or aren't with people I still talk to. I honestly haven't had too many ships in general really. At least not on the canon side of things.

Do you prefer common or rare pairs?. Oh god rare pairs. They're so much more fun.

THE.FANDOMS

How many fandoms have you written in?. Uh? Less than 10 that's for sure. I dabble mostly in fandomless work.

What was the first fandom you wrote in?. I think it was technically Fruits Basket, I do remember I did some OC writing with a friend that didn't last.

What fandom do you wish more people knew? (And tell us a bit about it!). The only one I can really think of right now is the Magnus Archives. Which, I mean, is fairly popular but it definitely deserves to be bigger. It's a horror podcast that is told through the perspective of an archivist reading first hand encounters with the paranormal. It's really well written and the sound design is BEAUTIFUL. And the fandom is pretty dedicated.

Do you like crossovers?. Yeah! As long as it plotted out and not thrown together for shits and giggles.

Which fandom have you always wanted to write in?. I'm trying desperately to write in the Watch Dogs fandom but man is it empty! Aside from that? I don't know, I don't really look at them like that.

Do you prefer animated, text, or real life media?. As long as it has a good and compelling plot to hold me, I'm game for it all.

What is your favourite genre?. I guess I love sci-fi most? I love robots... But I also love when sci-fi mixes with like - well, western is such a good one. We.stwo.rld did that beautifully, and the Mand.alori.an too oh my god. You can't tell me Mando isn't a space cowboy.

Least favourite?. Romance maybe? Like, not romantic comedy, just straight up romance. It gets so boring in my opinion

What tropes do you love?. Found family for sure, any sort of family trope. Friends or rivals to Lovers is good too. love/hate rivalries??? Frienemies??? Star crossed lovers... I like drama and fluff.

Which do you hate?. Right now I can't think of anything, but I'm sure there's something I can't stand. I don't really like purely romance to begin with, I need there to be a bit of action or drama or just more than just the two. But I wouldn't say I even hate it. Just not the top of my list.

Do you write in any dead fandoms?. I pretty much live in dead fandoms at the moment. Watch Dogs is all but buried, I don't think Magnus is very active, at least I haven't noticed it to be, and Detroit definitely died off, even the new people probably won't last without more around haha! (Not that I'm calling anyone out or anything! If you are writing I just don't see you. COME TO ME. I beg you, I want to write with you......pls...)

Unique Writing Asks

I want to write a Christian character who is allowed to engage with God and their beliefs in a secular fiction setting without falling into either the 1) evil abusive fundamentalist super conservative etc. or 2) super open and okay with all the things all of the time zen mode tropes.

Fundamentalist and conservative doesn't have to mean evil or abusive. God is love doesn't mean that everything's okay all the time free pass woo. There can be shades here. But fiction...frequently right now tends to go with the first option above.

I understand there are reasons for that. I'm not trying to be political. I just.

That's part of wanting to see myself in the books I read, I guess. Wanting to see myself in the ones I write.

I...honestly really like writing the struggle of engaging with God and struggling with Him. Of exploring those sorts of themes more concretely.

But I also don't think that the fanfic/fandom spaces really....

They have space for it, but I don't see them appreciating it. That's not why I don't write it. Idk.

Hi! This is my first ever fanfic! It has been chilling in my notes for a loooong time but I thought it might be fun to post it! It isn’t proof read so sorry if there are any mistakes. Let me know if you want to read part 2! 🤍

God, I can officially say that I gave up all hope for math this semester, cause, wow, I didn’t understand shit.

I was reading the explanation text over and over again while I fiddled with my pen. I already asked the teacher for help, but I didn’t understand a thing, plus she was in a bad mood so I didn’t really wanted to ask again.

I sighed, I was more of a English and history person.The logic math thinking isn’t really my thing. I drew some circles on my paper,and let my head rest in the palm of my hand. I will later ask my mom for help or something.

Then a hand grabbed mine.

My eyes widened in suprise.

The hand grabbed my pencil while still holding my hand, another hand placed gently on my sheet of paper, holding it down so it won’t slip away. He was basically hanging over me.

I turned my head up to see who this person was. It was Seven, a boy with bright red hair and funny glasses. He was loud in class, but really smart. I heard that he was doing some programming thing.

He is a total geek, but I couldn’t deny that he’s really handsome, and to be honest, I liked those nerdy types.

He was focused on the math problem, and he was biting his lip and furrowed his brows in concentration. I turned back to what was happening on the paper on my desk, my cheeks a bit flushed.

“Tada! And that’s how you fix that!” He held his face close to mine so I could see his proud grin.

I looked at the paper. He had fixed the math problem and left little notes that explained what to do.

I turned around. “ thanks so much, you’re a genius!” I smiled at him.

“ I know I know, no thanks, just call me God Seven, savior of those in need.” He jokingly said, while he made a dramatic pose, implying he was some sort of God.

“thank you, oh mighty God Seven.” I grinned. I like this kind of joking.

“Haha, you’re the first one with my humor!” He laughed.

“Hey! I hope this seven guy isn’t bothering you y/n?”

A white haired boy made his way to us. Zen. You could describe him as the “class prince” with his porcelain skin

, and beautiful long hair and (as you could probably guess) al lthe girls were fawning over him. He was really nice and pretty ofcourse, but i wasn’t really attracted to him like the other girls were. Not that I’m that y/n girl who wants to be quirky, but he was just a bit too much, I see him more as a brother! Plus, my dear friend jeahee already is a big fan of him.

“ oh no! He’s just helping with math, he’s really good at it” you waved your hands, implying that he wasn’t annoying you or something.

“What she’s saying” seven agreed.

“Okay okay, well if he does, just call me”

“ yeah yeah, go back to your fan club, they miss you.” Seven joked, winking at him.

Zen made a “mhm” sound and waved us goodbye.

“Well, if you ever need help again, just text me. Or call me, whatever u like.” Seven backed up, giving some sort salut with his fingers.

“But-“ i didn’t even got his phone number.

“The sheet” he mouthed, pointing at the piece of paper on your table”

There was a number written on it, along with a cat doodle.

🗣️Talk about your favourite WIP

To be honest, I don't think I ever written it down because I felt guilty about it being an inspiration from another fanfic I had read. It was for Kimetsu no Yaiba and on paper it sounds interesting because I wanted to use the concept of The Butterfly Effect as a basis. I also wanted to throw in a completely scene lifted from another anime completely unrelated to Kimetsu no Yaiba, specifically a scene where someone flips a coin to help them make a decision and then the person decides not to see which side the coin landed. I feel like as I'm writing all of this down it feels like I'm reaching with trying to make a connection about decision making, coin flips, and the concept of a butterfly effect.

(Correction, I looked through my phone and I did have some prewriting on there, but there's a lot of details I do remember I wanted to make a point of adding but never wrote them down in the prewriting)

I still remember the details and general direction, but I think the biggest hangup I have is that it's inspired from another fanfic.

💗Is there a scene you can’t wait to write for a WIP?

This is a Pokemon one, but I think it'd be funny if Jirachi tries to push Brendan using Zen Headbutt, but it fails because Brendan ends up flinching and not moving. Jirachi had to stand there and watch with a :I face before sending him flying with psychic instead. Yes, this is a Serene Grace joke. (I also have a running gag where Pokemon just look at Brendan and have the instinct to fling him the air, from his starter, to Latios/Latias, to Rayquaza, to JIrachi)

👻Is there a scene that you find intimidating that you have yet to write?

Not a specific scene, but I do find writing dialogue a bit hard. I always worry too much if I *sound* like the character. Honestly, I do feel a bit bad because there's not much distinction between the narrator and my own voice. Truthfully, I avoid writing Futo even though she is my favorite character because I'm not really fond of trying to write in Shakespearean (I think the reason people do it is to play up her archaic language) but i would rather just play up her nobility status with very formal language. Though I guess the tradeoff is that she can sometimes sound pretentious...

Now that I think about it a lot of my fanfics stop around the time where dialogue starts to get heavy....
