Since Goncharov is trending again, I want finally to share the poster I made a few months back! Unfortunately, I couldn't find the original image I used to create it (I looked for the photo, I really did! But I lost a record of it when I got my new computer). But anyway! Please enjoy this poster. I like it a lot :)

[Image ID: A movie poster for the fake movie "Goncharov". There is a black-and-white photo of a clock-tower. Near the top, text reads: "Martin Scorsese Presents / Goncharov / A film by Matteo JWHJ0715". A bit below that, text reads: "Robert De Niro as Goncharov / Harvey Keitel as Andrey Daddano / Cybill Shepherd as Katya Goncharov". Text near the bottom reads: "Domenico Procacci - Producer, Roy Walker - Set Designer, Micheal Kaptan - Costume Designer, Sophia Loren - Actor (Sofia Daddano), John Cazale - Actor (Joseph "Ice Pick Joe" Morelli), Al Pacino - Actor (Mario Ambrosini), Gene Hackman - Actor (Valrey Michailov), Lynda Carter - Actor (Dancer #2)". In the corner there is a logo for "Tumblr Studios", as well as an "R" age rating - "Restricted - Under 17 required accompanying parent or adult company". End ID]

shout out to when i told my dad about goncharov and he figured out it was fake because i told him "1973 martin scorsese film with robert de niro" and he said that wasn't possible because the godfather came out in 1972 and the godfather part II came out in 1974 and they wouldn't have had time to make a movie in between. a perfectly good jest, foiled by this man's weird and vast knowledge set

listen i didn’t even participate in goncharov but how is tiktok’s fake movie already so much worse. there’s like eighty named characters and no discernible plot. despite being an 80s horror movie it is het. no analysis just “guys that one scene got me fucked up” or “i think (new character i made up) deserved better”. personally i think they’re not committing hard enough

can you find the original goncharov post?
ah, Goncharov. i remember when this movie first released back in '73. an all time classic, to be sure. one of Scorsese's best...
but now wasn't the time for reminiscing. i had a client in here lookin' for the "original goncharov post." now, i'm sure they weren't lookin' for a vhs release of the original film, so i got to lookin'. i quickly found a screenshot of a tumblr user who bought a pair of boots displayin' the title of this classic film. strangely enough, they claimed it was nonexistent. now, i had seen this film multiple times. so i didn't know what the poster was on about. but nevertheless i tracked it down with relative ease by goin' through a reblog.
here's your post! have you seen the film? it's a masterpiece of cinema i gotta admit. have a great day!
