So modern au wise I do have ideas for all 3 latona siblings

Nia: surprisingly not a ton changes, shes still an agent for the dominion. Technically she works for the king of valenwood but she is effectively an eye. Not someone whose really known by the public, but tabloids keep catching her with the proxy queen

Jo'thera: still a member of the db but to cover it up hes sortve a idle rich influencer. He has the *craziest* only fans you've ever seen but most of his social media is wholesome content of his rats and occasionally his kids. Probably has a YouTube channel where he does stupid stuff, like you ever see the markiplier video where he was playing with flashlights in a dark closet? Stuff like that

Syke: obviously also still a member of the db, and also plays the idle rich person but instead of social media she'll cameo or take a role on anything. Like you won't hear anything about her for months and then you'll find out she had a cameo on a sitcom or was back up vocals for some indie grungeband album or was on the tes equivalent of the muppet show or something

In 1995 won de groep met het nummer de Grammy Award voor 'Best Hard Rock Performance'. Het was een van de laatste grote grunge-hits die ook bij een breed publiek succes kenden. Het is het populairste en bekendste nummer van de groep en het populairste grunge-nummer uit 1994. Het nummer verscheen enkele jaren later ook op het greatest hits-album A-Sides. Het verscheen oorspronkelijk op hun album Superunknown uit 1994 en was het derde nummer van het album dat als single werd uitgebracht.

Bands like L7 and Heavens to Betsy were instrumental to the birth of the grunge scene, but for decades were treated like novelties and sex objects. Thirty years later, it’s time to reassess their legacy.

“This modern genre’s sound was, in many ways, molded by a Black woman,” wrote Stephanie Siek in a 2021 Zora article ( Mar 24, 2021·8 min read} about Bell’s legacy. “The reason she is mostly unknown has everything to do with racism and misogyny. Looking back at the beginnings of grunge, with the preconception that ‘everybody involved’ was White and/or male, means ignoring the Black woman who was standing at the front of the line.”

“In general, in most histories, women’s participation has been disregarded from the get-go or cut from the narrative after-the-fact,” wrote Jen B. Larson in a tribute to Bell on the website Please Kill Me. “Though women have played key roles in musical innovations over time, we tend to notice them in hindsight, and only if dedicated crate-diggers are meticulous in excavating the past. The motif is especially apparent for Black women.”

In 1983, the Seattle band Bam Bam, fronted by a talented, elegant Black woman named Tina Bell, created a sound and lyrical foundation for a genre that white men with knit hats and plaid shirts would later make famous as “grunge.” Bell was backed by husband Tommy Martin and lifelong friend Scott Ledgerwood (“Scotty Buttocks”). Jen B. Larson digs deep into the archives to give Tina Bell, who died in 2012, her props as the uncrowned “Queen of Grunge.”
