okay actually wait if all of your ocs got to make their own fursonas what would they want to be
Seren: Gut instinct would be bat but if she thought about it I think "Xolo dog in a wig" would be an acceptable conclusion
Jack: Pirate leopard. Jack is not a pirate character anymore, but he wants to be, and thus her fursona would be a pirate
Jezebel: Tabby cat. She's thought about it
Angie: Doesn't know what a "fursona" is. Young Angie would say something like German shepherd, middle-aged Angie would say wild horse. Also possibly eagle. If she's an eagle, then she would make Lune a snake (cuz, yknow, he's Mexican? It works. Trust me)
Lune: Also doesn't know what a fursona is but nevertheless has thought about it and would definitely say bat. If he assigned Angie a fursona he would make her a bull (as he's the matador)
Jo: Her fantasy setting involves a "spark", which is an animal you can maaaybe turn into if you're good enough at magic (she's not) and which is basically just your fursona. Definitely a dog, somewhere between a hound dog and a pariah dog. Cattle dog is lame, cattle dog is tired, she would NOT be a cattle dog, she was raised on a chicken farm. She loves fish but she wouldn't be a fish. She's a dog that fishes
Eleanor: Siberian lynx. She's good enough at magic to be able to actually turn into it for shortish periods of time
Gus: Dragon, duh, it's his spark, and he's probably the character most likely to ACTUALLY have a fursona in the traditional sense, as I think he likes to draw cartoons when not doing one of the five billion other jobs and hobbies I write him as having. He can kiiiind of turn into his spark, but not the big fancy dragon he likes to draw. Just like a really shitty small lizard
Mick Venus: I had the very vivid mental image of some kind of snake in an 80s hair metal wig and that's it. That's his fursona

Who is Mu-Deok?
Crown Prince Go Won: Filthy Mu-Deok? A stinky, insolent peasant, always causing trouble! But only I am allowed to say that. I’ll execute anyone who harms her.
Jin Cho-Yeon: Jang Uk’s maid. There’s something weird going on with her, and she always manages to cause problems. For me specifically.
Seo Yul: the soul of my childhood sweetheart and a dangerous assassin, inhabiting the body of an innocent girl. She is a monster but not the way people think. It will break my heart to kill her.
Park Dang-Gu: Uk’s maid! We all think she’s great! There seems to be a lot of trouble around her which is such a shame bc she’s lovely!
Jang Uk: my master, my servant. My love, my killer. My best friend, my torturer. The only one who knows me. Truly the other half of my soul. She would break any rule to be with me, and I would bend the laws of the universe for her. My wife, my obsession. My protector and my delicate bird egg to protect. No she doesn’t like me back.
Naksu: idk man I just live here

☁️future with you-cho sang-gu☁️
Masterlist
cho sang-gu x reader
-2nd person p.o.v-
“surely this isn’t the right address..” you whispered to yourself as you looked at the house in front of you.
it was the house of trauma cleaners.
“su-jin are you sure this is the right house?” you spoke into your phone and she confirmed it.
with a light groan you approached the front door and rung the door bell.
you were then greeted by a girl.
“we aren’t interested in your company or it’s products” she quickly said before trying to slam the door shut but, you quickly used your hand to stop the door from closing.
“is sang-gu in by any chance?” you asked with a small smile and the girl opened the door with wide eyes.
“why? do you know where he’s gone?” she asked but you shook your head.
“sorry, i was told he’d be here” you apologised “by any chance do you know when he’ll be back?”
“no, he’s left and he’s not coming back. by the way who are you? you can’t just show up to a strangers house like this!”
“my name is y/n, i’m a friend of- i mean was a friend of sang-gu. i have some stuff i need to talk to him about which is why im looking for him now”
“good luck with that, the idiot hasn’t shown up for 2 days. seriously he’s supposed to be a guardian but he runs away from home” the girl annoyingly huffed “if you see him, tell him that his nephew geu-ru is worried”
“i see, sorry for disturbing” you then apologised and walked away from the house.
finding sang-gu was going to be harder than expected.
the next morning you got up bright and early to return back to the house you went to yesterday. you wanted to check if maybe there was a slight chance he turned up but, when you saw a young man putting up posters to ask if anyone has seen sang-gu you knew he hadn’t returned.
“excuse me. are you geu-ru?” you asked politely and he turned around and bowed before nodding.
“yes, have you seen my uncle? he’s filthy, loud but a good fighter” geu-ru responded loudly looking at the floor.
“no..but, i’m looking for him too. my name is y/n, do you want a hand putting up the posters?” you sent him a smile and he handed you a couple of them.
“make sure you stick them properly so that they don’t fly away in the wind. like this” geu-ru began to show you and you couldn’t help but smile as he explained how to precisely stick it.
however, it was soon ended short after you felt a hand over your mouth. you were then being dragged into the back on a 8 seater van, they did the same to geu-ru and even though you tried to fight. the men were too strong for you. they were taking you somewhere.
when you arrived to where the men were taking you and geu-ru, it all made sense. it was the people sang-gu used to do fights for.
they locked both you and geu-ru in the fighters ring. a beautiful lady wearing a dress entered and took geu-ru to the side. she took a selfie with him and then the men put geu-ru back in the fighters ring.
“hey! you won’t get away with this!” you yelled at the lady and the men in the room. they all ignored you.
“sang-gu, your uncle will be here” she held the missing sign up to geu-ru.
you sighed, there was no point in you trying to scold the assholes who had kidnapped you. you watched as geu-ru and the lady both chatted to each other. however, their conversation was cut short once a commotion could be heard in the distance.
sang-gu then burst through the door and geu-ru called out to him. the men tried to use force to stop sang-gu him but he fought them with ease. as usual.
“leave him alone” the lady announced and her men stopped trying to fight.
sang-gu ran straight to let geu-ru out.
“geu-ru. are you okay?” he looked over his nephew making sure he wasn’t hurt and then he saw you from the corner of his eye.
he couldn’t believe that you were there in front of him too.
“y/n..” he muttered under his breath slightly stunned before turning to the lady “what the heck is this?”
“uncle don’t be mad, your lady friend isn’t a bad person” geu-ru stopped sang-gu.
that’s when sang-gu decided to sit down and have a conversation with the lady. you stayed with geu-ru and the men as they played cards but, from the corner of your eye you were watching sang-gu. trying your best to keep an eye on him but, your view wasn’t great.
from what you could see it looked like a tense discussion and after 10 minutes sang-gu walked over to the table.
“what are you doing? let’s go home!” he called out to geu-ru before briefly looking at you. you were definitely going to follow them home because you still needed to talk with sang-gu.
the walk home was silent. sang-gu didn’t acknowledge your presence once and you didn’t even know how to start up a conversation with him. when you all arrived back at the original house, the same girl who answered the door in the morning was waiting for both gue-ru and sang-gu.
she snapped and had a go at sang-gu for not being responsible and running away from geu-ru. you couldn’t help but smile at the scene, she really cared about her friend. it was nice. once she had left, sang-gu was about to walk back inside. he was just going to ignore you. however, you knew you needed to talk with him so you stopped him.
“sang-gu!” you said loudly and he paused in his tracks.
he didn’t look at you and just hummed in response. why was he acting so ridiculous?
“this is your first time seeing me in god knows how long and you can’t even look directly at me” you scoffed slightly as you felt yourself begin to get emotional “after the accident-after what happened you…you just left without saying anything to me”
taking a deep breath in you tried to control your emotions.
“i had to move to a different city just to try to forget you. but, you never once left my mind” you continued while your lip began to quicker slightly.
sang-gu sighed loudly before attempting to walk into the house.
you wouldn’t let him get away this time.
immediately, you reached a hand and grabbed his upper arm. he froze in response.
“i know you blame yourself for what happened su-cheol but it doesn’t matter now. mistakes happen and you need to let go of the past. especially, with the mistakes we both made. i want you to be a part of my future” you said and sang-gu finally turned to look at you.
his eyes were glossed over and you raised your hand up to place it on his cheek.
his hand raised to go over yours and he held it there, letting himself be comforted by your presence.
letting himself be vulnerable.
tears threatened to spill from his eyes as he allowed himself to appreciate your presence.
“i’ve made too many mistakes y/n” he eventually breathed out closing his eyes.
“no..you haven’t. sang-gu no matter how many mistakes someone makes, they can always change. you just need to allow yourself to heal from the mistakes. try not to be so hard on yourself” you said in a soft voice to him.
and that’s when something clicked, sang-gu suddenly ripped away from your touch and glared at you.
“you aren’t my girlfriend, you don’t know the real me. we’re practically strangers so just leave” his tone was harsh and you couldn’t believe what he was saying.
“is that really how you feel?” you asked, your tone now cold to match his.
“what do you think?” he scoffed before walking to go inside.
just as he was about to enter the front door you called to him.
“you know? if you keep pushing people away you’ll be alone for the rest of your life. there are people that care and love for you but, you’re too blinded by anger to see it” you told him and it must’ve hit a nerve because he suddenly turned to look at you.
“and you’re one of those people? you didn’t even try to find me when i left and you didn’t even visit me in prison. don’t act like you care. just leave me alone” he spat at you.
even though you wanted to give him the same attitude back you just couldn’t do it. you knew he was only acting like this because of all the hurt he had been through.
“i give up sang-gu. i don’t know what to do to make you realise that i love you. i always have. and i will always continue to no matter what” with that last sentence you held back tears as you turned to walk away.
if not having you around was what sang-gu wanted then you’d give it to him.
you started to walk off, you needed to get out of there as soon as possible before you broke down.
tears slowly began to leave your eyes and you sniffled while wiping them.
suddenly, you felt a hand grab your arm and pull you to turn the other way. you were then met with sang-gu.
he examined your facial expression and before you knew it his lips were connected with yours, his hands moved to cup your face and you melted into the kiss.
after a couple of seconds you pulled away and he then pulled you into a tight hug, he was embracing you like he didn’t want to let you go.
“im sorry for everything, i’ve been an idiot and i’d like to have a future with you if you still want one with me” he whispered and you nodded instantaneously.
“of course, that’s all i ever wanted” you looked up at him as he continued to hug you.
he let out a smile and placed a soft kiss on your forehead.
he wasn’t going to let you go anytime soon.

So.. I finished Alchemy of Souls
Guys, the amount of tears I just shed in front of my entire family in the last episode of part 2 is crazy.
They were just sitting there like, you good? It's fiction as I'm sobbing my eyes out.
Anyway.
I have many thoughts. So many. And I lowkey want to make a separate post for each of them.
But for now I do want to leave some of my impressions about the finale: (spoilers ahead obviously)
I thought it was pretty well done. I expected to be a bit more shocked about the whole Jin Buyeon is Jin Seol-ran plotline but it honestly made sense to me and I feel like it was actually foreshadowed pretty well for the most part, even in season 1.
Also they definitely got me good with the deaths of Park Jin, Maidservant Kim, and Jin Hogyeong (if that's how you spell her name). Like that's when I started crying tbh. (I could care less about Mama Jin tbh, she sucks, but that deserves its own post). And I'm glad that them actually being alive didn't feel like a cop out to me. They established early on that Jin Seol-ran knew what would happen and used that to their advantage so it was believable and didn't feel like a Deus Ex Machina move for them to be saved. Well, maybe one of them should have died (cough–Mama Jin–cough). But it's fine.
I do feel like the last two episodes were kind of rushed though. I don't know if they had budgeting constraints or if Netflix didn't give them more than ten episodes, but I think that they should have had at least 12. Two more episodes would have allowed for more expansion on the climax and allowed them to up the drama more, which I think would have done well for the series over all, and would have been a better payoff.
I think the time could have been used well to flesh out some of the side characters arcs more. I feel like Danggu and Jin Choyeon were kind of pushed off to the side this season, and especially in the latter half, but I would have liked to see more of them and their relationships not only with each other but with Jang Uk and Naksu/Jin Buyeon.
For all intents and purposes, Naksu/Jin Buyeon lived as Jin Choyeon's sister for three years, and we can see that despite everything that happened three years prior, Choyeon did treat her as her sister even knowing the soul was Naksu's and cared about her. I think that could've and should've been expanded upon, her choosing to care about Naksu/Jin Buyeon or how that came to be. Also, after Naksu regained her memory AND found out Jin Mu had been for sure controlling her at the end of Part 1, I would have loved to see the conversation between her and Choyeon about what she did, an apology and an explanation that she would never have done that if she were sane of mind. What I said about Choyeon applies to Naksu as well because she lived three years as Choyeon's sister, and we can tell she cares about her, so I would have loved to see more of her feelings towards her, especially upon remembering all that had transpired in part 1.
When it comes to Danggu, I mean, he's one of Uk's best friends, and he was left out of the loop a lot when it came to anything Naksu-related. I would have liked him to find out or for Uk to tell him at some point and see how he makes peace with that. Because Danggu and Mudeok were friends in part 1 and he supported her (erroneously) in her supposed romance with Seo Yul. But then she killed his fiance's father and tried to attack him. I can't imagine the sense of betrayal he felt, but also finding out that it wasn't her fault and how he could come to terms with that would have been great to see. I also think his whole experience/trauma from part 1 was kind of glossed over. Like his main thing this season was his broken heart after Choyeon didn't end up marrying him, and I think that was making his feelings a bit too one-dimensional there. They do talk about how he feels slightly uncomfortable/doesn't know what to do with Jang Uk at the beginning of the show, but once Seo Yul comes back, that's kind of forgotten about and the three of them just start hanging out again no problem. I would've like to see a bit more about him struggling with becoming Leader of Songrim as well and how he adapted to that amidst his heartbreak for both his love and his friend who he doesn't even know how to act around anymore, and even towards Naksu/Mudeok who kind of ruined his future and that of his best friend but also being intuitive enough (because he is and he has one of the best hearts we've seen in the show) to realize that there's more to the story than her just going on a murder spree.
I've seen some talk about people saying they didn't like the actress for season 2 as much as season 1 (forgive me, I forgot their names), but I think both brought something good to the table.
Season 1 actress for Mudeok was really good. Her facial expressions were spot on and her chemistry with Lee Jaewook and the other cast members was really good. I think she definitely had great stage presence and made the show popular in the first place. I just don't agree that season 2 actress was worse.
I think season 2 actress definitely put in the work and embodied who Naksu/Jin Buyeon was for the majority of the series. There were times where she made expressions that perfectly resembled/echoed Naksu/Mudeok's that really got me like yes they are the same person even if she doesn't remember. She may have been cuter than we were used to with out sharp-tongued and emotion-resistant Mudeok, but I think Naksu needed that. As Mudeok and before then she didn't have the luxury to be more emotional and girly, it's only now in this body that she does, and I'm glad she had the opportunity to express that side of herself that had never seen the light of day.
We did get a glimpse of that side of her at the end of part 1 where she's playing around with makeup and what might make her look pretty, and it really spoke to all that she had missed out on and had to give up in order to survive. So yeah despite all the angst, I'm glad Naksu/Jin Buyeon had that opportunity through season 2 actress who played it really well while keeping in line with the essence of Naksu/Mudeok.
This whole thing about Naksu being the shadow to Jang Uk's light and if light exists then it needs a shadow broke my heart you guys, it was so perfect. And the fact that they were each other's light and shadow at different points but were also wholly necessary to each other in that was beautiful. I want to talk more about this in a separate post, so I'll table this metaphor for now.
Shout out to Crown Prince Go Won, a great character this whole season in terms of both comedic relief and massive character growth. So good.
Uk's arc was fantastic too but again want to save that for a full post.
Those are my out of order first thoughts about part 2, but I have SO MUCH MORE to discuss, so I will come back for sure. I just needed to scream to the world for a bit (virtually of course).
Question though for all of you more knowledgeable in the k-drama world: is there going to be a season 3?

Honestly, if they make the crown prince the villain, it would be such a waste. His character is so well-written, it would be a disservice doing that to him.
