Had a dream about zombies and now I’m startled and awake but it wasn’t even a scary dream about zombies it was that fucker from Warm Bodies was my docile zombie pet/boyfriend and survived by eating kettle chips (like those super thick Panera potato chips) that he covered in blood and I’m so mad about it
Like I am an adult woman with a job and yet here I sit at 4 AM too spooked to go to sleep bc Nicholas Hoult’s pasty zombie form is Fuckin haunting me

Wholesome story from work yesterday: was training an older gentleman on register and he was very excited to get home and tell his wife he got to meet the founder of our restaurant and get trained on register. He also used to work in programming and offered to let me borrow some books on python after learning I'm going to be studying computer science and wanted to start learning python basics!

OH MY GOD TEA YOU MET HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
How was it?!?!!!!
~ @1967-impala
It was literally so insane the whole interaction was less than like a minute or two but it basically went like
“Hey do you remember making a cameo for someone named ….. who had sepsis?”
Mark: “oh I do!”
“Oh well I was that guy! I was the guy with sepsis !”
And he replied with a very sweet very heartfelt
“Oh bloody hell really? How’s your health did you like the cameo??”

sometimes while i think about that while a lot of adults did not treat me very well as a kid i also get a lot of 'in hindsight this person was so good to me and i didnt even realize it until now' as an adult. today i was thinking about how the first anime convention i ever went to was when i was 10 and i asked the man working the manga cafe what manga was/what a good place to start was (because the con was very overstimulating for me and i had gotten lost) and he asked how old i was before recommending yotsuba and asking if i wanted any water or something to eat. its really simple but theres a lot of bad things that couldve happened or he could've been careless in his recommendation, but instead yotsuba has remained one of my favorite manga for years, and probably a large portion of why i continue to read manga as an adult... i think adults who try to involve kids in the world safely/kindly even in little ways make so much more of a difference than they ever really know.

PSA: tomatoes are not spicy. Tomatoes and tomato products should not be spicy. Pizza sauce isn't inherently spicy. Tomato-based pasta sauce is not spicy. Ketchup is NOT spicy.
If tomatoes are spicy, you have an allergy to tomatoes.
This announcement brought to you by my almost 29-year-old husband learning for the first time in his 2.8 decades of putting food products into his mouth that spaghetti and saucy pizza aren't spicy foods

Listen, I don't know what was happening here really but I was just waiting at the bus stop to get home and a different bus pulled up and two guys standing next to me hugged goodbye and one queued to get on the bus and the other started walking away, but the one who was walking away kept looking back to see if the one waiting for the bus would look and when he didn't he looked super disappointed and kept walking, and as soon as he looked away THE BUS GUY LOOKED UP and I wanted to just yell "HE LOOKED! HE LOOKED! DONT BE SAD!" but I'm a real human being and I have to live here so I did not do that.
