i think a lot of things i agree with are already being said about watcher tv, so instead of focusing on those, i'm going to try to highlight things i think need to be reiterated or haven't been discussed enough.
first of all, i've been a fan of watcher's content for a long time. i followed shane and ryan over to the network after unsolved ended, and since then have made a TON of incredible friends and memories because of their shows. to anyone at watcher reading this, i really hope you're doing alright. thank you for everything you've done to foster this incredible community. and to anyone here in tumblr who's followed me for my watcher content or to any of my mutuals, i hope you're doing as well as you can. drink some water, get outside, and make sure you're getting enough sleep. this has been a rough time for a lot of us, and understandably so.
obviously, watcher tv is a massive change, and everyone who feels upset or disappointed is extremely valid in feeling that way. however, the calibre of hate being sent to the watcher crew is kind of horrific. yes, this could turn out to be a bad business decision for them, but that does make them evil morally bankrupt capitalists who never actually cared about their fanbase in the first place??? honestly, i think this type of commentary is doing a disservice to everyone who's trying to discuss this situation from a genuine analytical standpoint. not only that, but these are real people??? sure, they're on the internet and have probably had people send hate comments their way before, but as a community there are so many more productive things we could be doing instead of tearing down the folks over at watcher.
it is disheartening for content you've enjoyed to suddenly be locked behind a paywall, especially if it's not something you'll be able to afford. i've seen a lot of people emphasizing that artists should be compensated for their art, and i think that definitely applies here, but that doesn't mean people don't have a right to be upset. the fandom community we've built here on tumblr is incredible, it's brought so many people together and overall been so positive, fun, and welcoming to be a part of, so it's understandable that a change threatening the stability of that fanspace would make people upset. i'm not happy about the possibility of the watcher fandom dissipating after this announcement, but i think it's highly likely. watcher TV has created a divide in the fandom, and no matter what it looks like after this is over, it won't be the same. what's going to happen when most people can't access watcher content anymore??? no matter what happens, being in this fandom was absolutely incredible while it lasted.
what's my overall take on the situation??? i don't know how this will turn out for them, i'm not sure the announcement was carried out in the best way (it was hyped up in a way i don't think it should've been, a slower lead up to this could've made it more digestible), i'm sad that a lot of people won't be able to enjoy content that used to mean so much to them, but if this is a business move they think they need to make, then think i understand that. i'm no business expert, i have no idea how this will work out, but i'm absolutely not manifesting their downfall. i think it's very important to discuss this in a civil manner, to critique and analyze the effects of this situation on both the community and the company, but letting that turn into blatant hate and threats to watcher employees is WAY TOO FAR.
these are just some of my thoughts. if you want me to clarify anything or know my thoughts on specific aspects of this situation, please don't be afraid to ask!!! my only request is that this post doesn't turn into a vessel for hating on anyone, whether that be watcher or anyone posting about the situation.

hey, would it be ok/possible to give writing tips cus i recently started a fanfic and i want it to be as good as yours. Any suggestions?
I am super flatter. I’m I also have no clue what to say.
Guess some basics.
Keep your words varied.
Instead of “he said” “she said”
Try “he asked” “she responded”
It helps the writing run smoothly and also gives you more characterization as you can describe both the mood of conversation and the attitude of characters
Apply this overall. Not just for conversations but fight scenes and movement as well.
Merriam-webster site is great for this. Put it on thesaurus mode and it will give you a bunch of synonyms. They also help with characterization as well.
Words have power and the ones you pick are important. Some words carry different emotions with them. If you want to describe some one as caring you can used the words compassionate or the word benevolent. While both mean caring they symbolize a difference in character. (Again the thesaurus is super helpful for this.
Next conversation
Read back through your conversations. Not the actions or movement but just the quotations. See if the conversation actually flows.
Add movement to the conversation. What are the characters doing while they talk. Are the pacing are hug what is it.
Fight sequences.
These are hard to write. Know that going in. It’s okay to struggle here.
I use YouTube a lot here. There are experts there that break down fighting moves in video games, movies, shows ext. use it.
I watch one three second clip over and over until I write down the movements of the body, weapon, whatever it is.
Research.
This is really important. If you are using something that isn’t from your personal background research.
We have a vibrant community here and people love to share.
I have made plenty of mistakes. But people have been kind enough to point them out and help me fix them. I don’t know Spanish and I accidentally misspelled several words and many people reach out and helped me fix them.
Be open to positive feedback. There are a tone of creative minds here. I encourage people to theorize in my comments and then if I see a really good idea I will sometimes work it into the plot.
Set your characters
I knew my ending from the beginning. This allowed me to know where I wanted my characters to be at the end and create plot points that got them there.
Set some character traits and stick to them.
When in doubt go back to the original material. Donnie has a unique way of speaking he replaces common words with scientific all the time ie phalange sandwich instead of knuckle sandwich. Use that characterization to your advantage.
The video below is a great example of how to write a character and set their character traits. Yes it’s specifically about the scooby dip gang but you can take the criticism given and apply it to all modern media. It breaks down the characters to their core and describes what makes a good character of that archetype and how they fit together as a team. There’s also a good couple segment when he talks about Fred and Daphne. (This came out before Velma and it defiantly highlights how those writes fail without even trying)
youtube
Really great resource if you want to write a group together
Conflict
It’s okay to have simple conflicts or more then one. And it is okay to make a character grow. No character should be perfect.
Usagi had a mini arch. He is a protective person. When Leo was healing he was protecting him and saw him as someone who needed protection. He had a whole little fantasy about how they could live at the Tenshu with Leo’s family. I remember people being a little upset with him because he didn’t understand that Leo was a warrior to. But that was the point. He didn’t know. As soon as he did he could grow and change as well.
It’s okay to have little conflicts like that. But be carful how you handle miscommunication conflicts. If the problem can be solved by the characters sitting down and talking it probably shouldn’t be the main conflict. They are great for side conflicts but can be frustrating if it’s the main conflict of a long fic (short fics are fine)
Remember this is for fun. At the end of the day your here because you enjoy it. This is a creative outlet for people who enjoy creating. Don’t lose sight of that in the pursuit of perfection.
If I think of anything else I will add it here.

Yuno's redrawn facial expression in OP 3
So @syrpai left this comment on the gigantic analysis of the three OPs that I posted yesterday, and I wanted to give it its own post to highlight their observation.
Tumblr media
I'm so glad we have this community of fixated and observant experts, because I'd never noticed this before! And it's fascinating.
Here is how Yuno looks when she hits Twelfth/Yomotsu with her ax in episode 5 (an extremely memorable shot, IMO):
Tumblr media
And now, here is how Yuno looks in the version of the scene that runs within the kanji in OP 3:
Tumblr media
Yes, obviously the screen-shake/wobble and hair movement is VERY sped-up in the latter, but more importantly? Look at her mouth and eyes. That's where you see the altered expression which @syrpai observed and brought up. Between these two scenes, Yuno's mouth is completely different, and her eyes/eyebrows are also heavily altered.
So... why?
I don't imagine that they manually changed her face just for the flashing images in the kanji of the later OVA. While that's not 100% impossible, it's a tough idea to swallow. I can't imagine any studio justifying the effort that would go into such a redraw for something so briefly and partially glimpsed solely within a non-televised bonus episode. That's just too wild an idea for my taste. And even if they did somehow justify said redraw, I can't imagine any good reason WHY they'd choose to do so. As such, this other version is likely an alternate, unused "take" of the same scene from episode 5.
We can only guess as to why this exists. But here's my theory: The manga doesn't actually show us Yuno's face clearly at the moment she strikes Yomotsu, right? That means there was some room for the anime artists to interpret what she'd look like when they decided to change the composition of the shots for this moment in order to make the sequence more dynamic in motion. And sure, it makes a basic sort of sense for Yuno to look aggressive/determined while she's chopping someone in the neck. That's probably a very easy assumption to make about anyone in the midst of such an action. HOWEVER... ! The manga may not let us see her face in this precise moment, but it DOES show Yuno smiling calmly both immediately before and immediately after it (momentarily, in the latter case — just before she collapses from exhaustion). And based on those panels of smiles, the calmer expression used in episode 5 is likely more accurate to what Sakae Esuno intended Yuno to be expressing at the moment in question.
In summary: My theory is that the version they put into OP 3 was accidentally pulled from an early draft/cut of episode 5 — before either the episode director or the showrunner or Sakae Esuno himself requested a change to her expression so as to better reflect her intended mood/attitude in that moment.
Of course, I again remind you that this is all just my theory. I just think it's the most plausible source of the difference.
Sadly, even if we could somehow ask everyone involved with the production today, it's doubtful that they'd remember how this happened. Anime productions are frantic, and a ton has happened to all the artists involved since completing the anime a decade ago.

I was writing out a long ass ask about a series of youtube comments i saw from John Wolfes (I have a vague recollection of him being included in a reaction video for the ending of Video and him being sad Ethan died) final playthrough of Village (laptop lagged a bit and I clicked on it by accident) and for some reason I got curious and looked through the comments and there was a series of conversations with this one person who well let me show you the highlights for two of them (I did respond to this particular comment cos internet arguement mode kicked in)
comment one: "That's what RE8 does. It doesn't try to explain anything, despite literally telling the player that Mother Miranda is an uneducated peasant from the 1900s who becomes the greatest virologist in the world through unknown means, experiments on the Mold and ends up creating an embryonic clone of her daughter Eva for the sake of The Connections' research. Oh wow! She accomplished her goal of getting her daughter back before RE7 even happened? What impact does that have on the story? Fuck all! It's just a stupid, shortsighted retcon to try and give the two games a proper connecting element. It's plain bad writing, so no, I do not have to come up with an explanation or suspend my disbelief further, because I already suspended my disbelief the exact way you're insisting I should, in the DLC for RE7 where Zoe is saved despite becoming calcified the same way her parents died."
--the Bakers turned into actual mould then crumbled away (look at pictures of mould on food and compare what was left of the Bakers)
comment two: "The issue is not that I want a detailed breakdown of every single educational establishment she went to, I want to know how the fuck some rando widower with a dead daughter knows what Mycology is in 1912. Miranda is an uneducated, potentially illiterate woman from the turn of the century in the arse-end of nowhere in Romania. It's not a particularly compelling piece of fiction to show me a character and say "she has all this hyper-specialised knowledge and was able to completely bypass the functions of her local society...somehow". I don't know much about Romania, I'll admit, but I do know that in 1912 one of the only women in the world generally accepted to be above washing dishes was Queen Victoria, and that's quite a social standing difference between her and what is essentially some hick. It doesn't matter how much time she had, or if she is immortal, you need more than that to become such a phenomenal expert in a niche field of study that wasn't even widely accepted until MAYBE ten years before The Connections showed up to ask her for a Mold sample. And to finish off - Yes, her goal was in fact achieved when she created an embryo clone of Eva to experiment on alongside The Connections, because her goal was to get her daughter back. And since the Megamycete stores the genetic information, memories and subsequent personality of the people who are infected by it, she could have easily imprinted that onto the embryo clone. Why am I so sure that she could? Because the writers already established a precedent of not actually setting down hard rules for how the damn thing works. (As a side note, the T-Virus never had this issue because it was stated from the beginning that engineering specific outcomes among humans requires a specific combination of genetics, so no, the old games did not actually have this problem to such a degree.)"
the thing is its not like midwives and apothocaries exist is it?
because i'm interested in this shit I looked it up and according too All American Restoration: history of mold and building related illnesses
1837 – Stachybotrys Chartarum (known as “toxic black mold”) is first described by Corda from wallpaper collected in a home in Prague.
and the huffpost also has a brief history of mold where a defilling mold was mentioned In the Old Testament – Leviticus 14 – you will find the first written mold remediation protocol. Here’s an excerpt:
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mold in a house in that land, the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house.’ The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. After this the priest is to go in and inspect the house.
“If the mold has spread on the walls, the priest is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.
sorry for how long this got but I am interested
"telling the player that Mother Miranda is an uneducated peasant from the 1900s"
Wh-when did the game say that???
Someone tell this RE fanboy and his weak masculinity that people didn't start being "woke" when the internet came... the problem was that history was being written by straight white men and that's why we don't have a lot of info about women or queer people or people of other races and the role they played in history.
Like this dude thinks there weren't female scientists in the 19th century? Does he know what happened in 1911, when Eva in the RE universe was just two years old? Marie Skłodowska–Curie won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, having already shared the Nobel Prize in Physics with her then husband in 1903.
Like yeah, women scientists haven't been many - but that doesn't mean they did not exist, even before women's rights was a thing. He sounds like the kind of guy who recognizes the patriarchy hasn't allowed women in higher positions for centuries, but who also doesn't realize that women have been mentally capable of such positions and have achieved them occasionally, just not as often as men did because well, the PatriarchyTM. To him it's like, Women got their Rights and Now they are as Smart and Capable as Men. Before they got rights they were only illiterate plebeians. It was us men who made them smart!
I don't even know where the guy got that Miranda was uneducated--- and illiterate???? Seriously??? Does he even know what the word illiterate means, and that this is immediately rebuffed by the fact that we see that Miranda has written entire books of notes on her experiments along with a letter to her daughter??? Spencer's letter on her lab??? Does this guy think Miranda had a scribe to read and write for her???!
Y'all, sometimes I think internet was a mistake. Dudes being bros are just unstoppable here.
But yeah, if these comments are verbatim, it just screams to me that he's a bitter, butthurt fan of the older RE games (like, the way he mentions the T virus and how it doesn't fall into PLOT HOLE SINS like the Mold does - and by the way, he probably watches too much C!nemaS!ns and unironically thinks they're right) who is also pretty uneducated himself (the only woman who was above washing dishes was fucking queen Victoria are you real bro? also good job on jumping from Romania to England, cause ofc there weren't any other queens in the entirety of Europe at the time, he's probably one of those MuricansTM who think that Europe is a country) and thinks he's right anyway because HE'S A TRUE RESIDENT EVIL FAN! and he's just bummed with how the RE team decided to take a different route and felt he had the knowledge to actually criticize their work.
Also, of all the things to hate Miranda for, lmao. The way he talks about her supposedly being "illiterate" sounds like he hates her for that and how the game made her OP and I'm like... dude. The game gives you so many reasons to hate Miranda for. She kidnapped Mia and Rose, then killed Rose and experimented on her and Mia. She experimented on thousands of people and made the Lords' lives miserable. She tormented Ethan. She's obsessed with her daughter to the point where she'll abandon all morality in order to get her back even a century later. And I'm like, y'all don't get that, you have to create a trait of hers out of fucking thin air to hate her? Y'all that shallow?
"a niche field of study that wasn't even widely accepted until MAYBE ten years before The Connections showed up to ask her for a Mold sample"
WHAT THE ACTUAL FCUK??? Alexander Fleming created penicillin from mold in 1929! Penicillin was then widely used during WW2! WHO THE FUCK GAVE THIS DUDEBRO INTERNET
Like seriously people like him suffer from an inability to shut the fuck up and especially to think before they post. He hates a female character for supposedly being "illiterate" and how the game made her OP despite that supposed illiteracy, and he doesn't have the self reflection to think wait, I don't know shit about the history of science, maybe I should either shut up or do my research before I post shit on the internet.
And I'm like... I don't know that much myself. Everything related to science I posted here was from a five minute search on wikipedia. That's all it took, yet that dudebro couldn't do it. But Miranda's the uneducated one, sure.
But y'know, I find it so ridiculous, lol. Of all the reasons to hate Miranda for! Her one and single redeeming quality is that she was determined to get her daughter back - every other trait of hers is there for us to hate her (not in a hate-hate way, but in a way that makes her a compelling villain - love to hate if you will) yet dudebros have to come up with shit to hate her for, lmao. Sadly he's not the only one. But at least we can make a laugh out of their shit, lol.

COWSPIRACY: THE SUSTAINABILITY SECRET
1. The film argues that animal agriculture is the leading cause of environmental destruction. Do you agree with this assessment? Why or why not?
"Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret" presents a compelling argument that animal agriculture is the leading cause of environmental destruction, citing its significant contributions to deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, water pollution, and habitat destruction. While I may not have initially grasped the extent of its impact, the film's presentation of scientific data and expert testimonies have convinced me of the validity of this assessment. The sheer scale of resource consumption and environmental degradation associated with animal agriculture is staggering, prompting me to reconsider my views on its sustainability and ethical implications.
2. Do you think eliminating or reducing meat and dairy consumption should be a bigger part of environmental organizations’ agendas for fighting climate change?
Yes, I believe that eliminating or reducing meat and dairy consumption should be a bigger part of environmental organizations' agendas for fighting climate change. "Cowspiracy" highlights the profound environmental footprint of animal agriculture, and reducing meat and dairy consumption presents a tangible and effective solution to mitigate climate change. By promoting plant-based diets and advocating for sustainable food production practices, environmental organizations can address the root causes of environmental degradation and contribute to a more sustainable future for our planet.
3. How might the arguments made in the film align with or contradict with religious-social teachings about care for creation and the environment? Explain.
The arguments made in "Cowspiracy" may align with religious-social teachings about care for creation and the environment, particularly those emphasizing stewardship and reverence for all living beings. Many religious traditions advocate for responsible and compassionate treatment of animals and the environment, viewing them as sacred creations deserving of respect and protection. Therefore, reducing or eliminating meat and dairy consumption aligns with these teachings by promoting ethical and sustainable lifestyles that prioritize the well-being of both humans and the natural world.
4. What is one new piece of information you learned from this film that you have or will share with friends and family? Why did you choose to share this particular fact?
One new piece of information I learned from "Cowspiracy" that I have shared with friends and family is the significant environmental impact of animal agriculture compared to other industries. Specifically, I was struck by the statistic that animal agriculture is responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions than the entire transportation sector combined. I chose to share this fact because it underscores the urgent need for collective action to address the environmental consequences of our dietary choices and prompts individuals to reevaluate their consumption habits in light of their environmental impact.

MOTHER!
What do you think the film is trying to say about humanity’s relationship with nature through its religious and environmental allegories?
"Mother!" uses religious and environmental allegories to comment on humanity's relationship with nature, presenting it as both symbiotic and destructive. Through biblical motifs, the film explores themes of creation, destruction, and rebirth, paralleling the mistreatment of Mother Earth with the biblical narrative of creation and the fall of humanity. The environmental allegories highlight humanity's exploitation and abuse of the Earth's resources, depicting it as a cycle of destruction and renewal. Ultimately, the film suggests that humanity's disregard for nature and its relentless pursuit of materialism will lead to its downfall unless there is a fundamental shift in values towards environmental stewardship and respect for the natural world.
2. The characters exhibit selfish and selfless behaviors. Discuss examples of each and how they relate to environmental stewardship.
In "Mother!", characters exhibit both selfish and selfless behaviors that reflect their attitudes towards environmental stewardship. For example, Him, the character representing the creator or God figure, displays selfishness by prioritizing his artistic vision over the well-being of Mother Earth. Conversely, Mother demonstrates selflessness by nurturing and caring for her home, representing environmental stewardship and a deep connection to nature. The behavior of other characters, such as the disruptive and disrespectful guests, highlights the consequences of selfish actions on the environment, ultimately leading to chaos and destruction.
3. Mother Nature is often represented as female. How does the film portray this symbolism through the Mother character? What is the significance?
The film portrays Mother Nature symbolically through the character of Mother, emphasizing her femininity and nurturing qualities. Mother is depicted as the caretaker of the home, embodying the Earth's resilience and capacity for renewal. The significance of portraying Mother Nature as female lies in highlighting the interconnectedness between femininity, creation, and the natural world. By aligning Mother Nature with female symbolism, the film emphasizes the importance of nurturing and protecting the environment, drawing parallels between the exploitation of women and the exploitation of nature.
4. The film shows nature responding violently as the home is increasingly disrespected. Do you think this makes a fair point about the climate crisis? Why or why not?
"Mother!" makes a fair point about the climate crisis by showing nature responding violently to human disrespect and exploitation. The escalating environmental destruction depicted in the film serves as a metaphor for humanity's disregard for the Earth's ecosystems and resources. The violent reaction of nature underscores the urgent need for environmental stewardship and highlights the destructive consequences of ignoring the climate crisis. Ultimately, the film serves as a stark warning about the consequences of environmental degradation and the importance of taking immediate action to mitigate its effects.
5. The ending depicts dramatic environmental destruction followed by renewal. What hope, if any, does this give you about humanity’s ability to change course regarding climate change?
The ending of "Mother!" depicts dramatic environmental destruction followed by renewal, offering a glimmer of hope about humanity's ability to change course regarding climate change. The cyclical nature of destruction and rebirth portrayed in the film suggests that while humanity may face dire consequences for its actions, there is still potential for renewal and regeneration. This ending provides hope that through collective action and a renewed commitment to environmental stewardship, humanity can work towards a sustainable future and prevent further environmental degradation. However, it also serves as a cautionary tale, reminding viewers of the consequences of inaction and the importance of taking meaningful steps towards protecting the planet.

Henry Kissinger: AI Will Replace Humans within 5 Years; COGwriter: Artificial Intelligence programs are full of errors and biases
COGwriter
Notice the following:
Henry Kissinger: AI Will Replace Humans within 5 Years
October 29, 2023
Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has declared that artificial intelligence (AI) will replace humans within the next five years.
Kissinger, a member of the globalist World Economic Forum (WEF), asserts that AI dominance will be the “biggest challenge” humans will face.
According to a report published on Insider, Kissinger made the comments during an interview with Mathias Döpfner, CEO of Axel Springer. …
Experts have pointed out that most white-collar jobs are in danger of being replaced by AI.
Workers in sectors such as technology, media, law, and customer service are especially at risk.
100-year-old Kissinger said he believes that AI will become so dominant that humans could end up serving machines. https://www.sgtreport.com/2023/10/henry-kissinger-ai-will-replace-humans-within-5-years/
Yes, AI will replace some jobs. And it normally biased and often provides errors as fact.
As far as humans serving AI, consider that the Bible warns:
8 Their land is also full of idols; They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made. (Isaiah 2:8)
And we are seeing that with AI religion, amongst other things.
Furthermore, it is likely that the Beast of Revelation 13 will use AI as I have warned for many years.
Notice a video from back in 2018:
youtube
15:30
Artificial Intelligence and Prophecy
Billionaire Elon Musk declared he was worried that artificial intelligence (AI) may lead to the rise of an “immortal dictator,” a “godlike” entity that could take over the world. Is this accurate, or at least, close in some ways? Does Bible prophecy foretell of the rise of an immoral leader who considers himself above all gods? Will this result in great destruction? What is AI? How might it fit in with various prophecies? Was the increase in technological knowledge we now have prophesied over 2000 years ago? Will 666 control over buying and selling involve any form of AI? Dr. Thiel goes over many scriptures, including prophetic ones, that involve human knowledge–which is the basis of AI. He also points out that when various prophesies were made, there was no technology capable of fulfilling them, but that because of computers, such ability exists now. Dr. Thiel also points out what Jesus will do about it.
Here is a link: Artificial Intelligence and Prophecy.
In early 2023, we also put together the following video which highlighted some other risks with AI:
youtube
14:34
ChatGPT and 666
In November 2022, OpenAI released something called ChatGPT. Google held a meeting related to it the next month and some think it may possibly replace Google. Some suspect that artificial intelligence will generate up to 90% of internet content in the future. Some believe that items such as ChatGPT will eliminated certain writing, tech, and other jobs requiring a college education. What does ChatGPT stand for? Why are teachers concerned it may result in loss of writing and researching skills? Is ChatGPT a neutral information source or is it biased as ‘conservatives’ have claimed? What has it said about transgenderism, political leaders, and drag queens? Do ChatGPT and other tech companies “suppress the truth in unrighteousness”? Is more censorship coming according to the Bible? Why does it appear that types of artificial intelligence will be used by supporters of the coming 666 beast power? Steve Dupuie and Dr. Thiel address these issues.
Here is a link to our video: ChatGPT and 666. The Bible tells of a totalitarian Beast government that will rule for a time (cf. Revelation 13:1-18) prior to Jesus’ return (cf. Revelation 17:12-14). And, as I have written here for many years, this looks to involve technologies, including what is called Artificial Intelligence (AI)–watch for example from 2016: Crowdsourcing and Artificial Intelligence to solve “wicked problems”?
ZeroHedge posted the following:
October 28, 2023
The AI Challenge
The prominence of AI has profoundly and irrevocably changed the human discourse. From its inception on Google and other search engines to the most recent iteration of chatbots such as ChatGPT or Bard, complex algorithms have increasingly driven this process.
A large literature, mostly highly specialized, has analyzed numerous possible biases of the AI discursive products. Bias is created when one idea/topic/concept is disproportionally weighted against another. Faulty algorithms can introduce bias and need to be adjusted. But other issues are also at play.
Choosing representative data to correct for bias is also recommended, but in cases where voluminous data is generated on a daily basis over extended periods of time, such remedies are not practical. Experts point out biases which occur when there is imbalance in available data, in the sense that certain topics are overrepresented, whereas information on others hardly exists.Quality of data in the discourse varies from rigorous research appearing in respectable academic publications to conspiracy theories found in niche outlets and social media. The sheer magnitude of ideas/topics/concepts in the discursive universe makes it hard to evaluate their quality. As a rule, discerning players in the discourse shy away from outlandish conspiracy theories, but evaluation of the in-between narratives is exceedingly hard.Relations and causations between variables, two distinctive concepts, are regularly confused in discursive practices, creating a host of fallacies and biases in the narrative. When correlation is mistaken for or misrepresented as causation, it generates a “reality” that does not exist. https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/hamass-october-7-attack-discourse-age-artificial-intelligence
As a Christian and a natural health scientist, I can tell you that AI is highly biased and often provides false and inaccurate responses to inquiries.
Let’s simply use COVID as an example–I and other health care practitioners used protocols that were effective treatments, but the mainstream falsely asserted that there was no effective treatment. While I did not have access to AI during COVID, sources that AI programs use would have tended to parrot the same false mainstream narrative.
Consider something else that has been proposed regarding AI and religion:
World Economic Forum Contributor Says A.I. Could Rewrite the Bible, Create ‘Correct’ Religions
June 16, 2023
Yuval Noah Harari, known for being a contributor and speaker at the World Economic Forum, is promoting the idea that A.I. will be able to generate a new globally acceptable religious book.
Harari’s prediction is raising alarms for conservatives and Christians since the Bible is considered sacred as God’s holy word to mankind.
Harari explained A.I.’s purpose in writing a new Bible during a recent forum called “A.I. & The Future of Humanity.”
“It’s the first technology ever that can create new ideas. You know, the printing press, radio, television, they broadcast, they spread the ideas created by the human brain, by the human mind,” he said.
Harari said A.I. will soon be able to invent new concepts and beliefs that are more socially acceptable than the Bible.
“A.I. can create new ideas; {it} can even write a new Bible,” he said, in order to establish unified and “correct” religions.
“Throughout history, religions dreamt about having a book written by a superhuman intelligence, by a non-human entity,” Harari explained. Now he believes A.I. will become a new type of god.
“In a few years, there might be religions that are actually correct … just think about a religion whose holy book is written by an A.I.,” Harari said. “That could be a reality in a few years.” …
Harari … says the Bible is just fiction and compares it to fictional novels like Harry Potter.
“Billions of people have believed in these stories for thousands of years. Some fake news lasts forever,” Harari wrote. https://www2.cbn.com/news/world/world-economic-forum-contributor-says-ai-could-rewrite-bible-create-correct-religions
WEF Calls for AI to Rewrite Bible,  Create ‘Religions That Are Actually Correct’
June 10, 2023
A top official with the World Economic Forum (WEF) has called for religious scripture to be “rewritten” by artificial intelligence (AI) to create a globalized “new Bible.”
Yuval Noah Harari, the senior advisor to the WEF and its chairman Klaus Schwab, argues that using AI to replace scriptures will create unified “religions that are actually correct.”
Harari, an influential author and professor, made the call while giving a talk on the “future of humanity.”
According to Harari, the power of AI can be harnessed and used to reshape spirituality into the WEF’s globalist vision of “equity” and inclusivism. https://slaynews.com/news/wef-ai-rewrite-bible-create-religions-actually-correct/
The Bible is not “fake news,” but truth–as Jesus said, “Your word is truth: (John 17:17).
The Bible also teaches:
160 The entirety of Your word is truth, (Psalm 119:160)
4 Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. (Romans 3:4)
Believe the word of God. Do not be among those the Bible warns against, which includes:
15 … idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:15)
Lies come from Satan and his followers (John 8:44).
Having found that AI like ChatGPT and BingChat give wrong answers to historical questions with religious connections, having AI write a new Bible or blasphemously pretend to be Jesus should not sound like a good idea for anyone interested in truth. The WEF has been pushing for a type of globalist false religion and now wants to have AI pretend it is God–this is blasphemous.
The Bible warns:
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12)
Many associated with the WEF and other worldly organizations do not believe or understand that. They cannot make a true God and their ways will end in death. Actually, according to Jesus, it will get so bad that:
22 … unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:22)
As far as AI and rewriting the Bible goes, PETA has began to try to do that. We made the following video related to that:

PETA’s Preposterous Preaching
The group calling itself the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, PETA, has problems with what it calls “speciesism” and the Bible. In an attempt to reduce biblical influence, it claims that it used ChatGPT in order to rewrite the first book of the Bible, Genesis. Is PETA’s version of Genesis consistent with scripture? Does PETA have trouble identifying the days of the week? Did PETA leave out statements about God giving humans dominion? Does the Bible show God used animal skins for a covering for Adam and Eve or plant-based clothes? What did PETA do to the account of Cain and Abel? Does the PETA version of Genesis push a false vegan gospel from God’s people? In this interview, Dr. Thiel quotes several passages from PETA’s version of the Book of Genesis as well as points out what the Bible teaches in Genesis as well as scriptures that provide for the truly ethical treatment of animals. Dr. Thiel also mentions some of God’s purpose for humans that animals cannot have. Steve Dupuie and Dr. Thiel go over these topics.
Here is a link to our video: PETA’s Preposterous Preaching.
Many people apparently want to worship the work of their hands, despite that being condemned by scripture.
Notice also the following:
4 And the Lord has sent to you all His servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, but you have not listened nor inclined your ear to hear. 5 They said, ‘Repent now everyone of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers forever and ever. 6 Do not go after other gods to serve them and worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands; and I will not harm you.’ (Jeremiah 25:4-6)
Despite warnings from God’s prophets, people still often want to worship the work of their hands.
As far as AI and the Bible goes, we put out the following video:

Is AI in the Bible?
The Bible refers to a place that was ruined in the Book of Joshua called “Ai.” Are there any parallels to what is known as Artificial Intelligence (AI)? What did Joe Kovacs say about that? Are there any risks to AI, such as those warned about by Elon Musk? Are common AI sources like ChatGPT and Bing AI always reliable? Are there certain passages in the Bible, such as prophecies related to the militaristic Beast and Antichrist in the Book of Revelation, that point to the use of AI in the end times? Is the use of computer software consistent with the prophecies of the 666 Beast power? Does the New Testament have warnings of impostors deceiving? Is it possible that demons and AI will be involved in the end time? Will the nations of this world fight Jesus upon His return? Could AI affect and deceive humans? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie address these matters.
Here is a link to our video:  Is AI in the Bible?
I strongly suspect that the following is talking about some type of a demonically-affected machine god:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. (Revelation 13:15)
Furthermore, notice that the Bible shows that humans are going to cling to that, despite punishments from God:
20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons … (Revelation 9:20)
The reality is that many do not care for the word of God. Like Adam and Eve, they want to accept false ideas. But the time will come when humans will no longer worship the works of their hands:
13 Your carved images I will also cut off, And your sacred pillars from your midst; You shall no more worship the work of your hands; 14 I will pluck your wooden images from your midst; Thus I will destroy your cities. 15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury On the nations that have not heard. (Micah 5:13-15)
The ONLY real solution for the problems facing humanity is repentance, the return of Jesus, and the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. Not some type of AI machine god.

AI Jesus? Artificial Intelligence God?
We are seeing more and more steps to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) in with matters of religion. From a Protestant sermon via AI, to PETA blaspheming God by re-writing a false account of the Book of Genesis, to Yuval Noah Harari of the World Economic Form (WEF) calling for a new globalist religion and Bible to be produced by AI, things like ChatGPT are being used. There is also an AI thing called “ask Jesus” which has a false Messiah who does not always provide biblically-accurate statements. Many humans want to worship “the work of their hands.” Is that warned against in scripture? Where is this leading? Might the “image of the beast” be demonic and/or involve AI and the Antichrist? Do humans know the way that is right that does not lead to death? Dr. Thiel and Steve Dupuie address these matters.
Here is a link to our video: AI Jesus? Artificial Intelligence God?
While AI can help in some research, its sources and conclusions should be checked.
That said, it remains my view that the 666 Beast of Revelation will use AI, particularly as we see AI further refined.
Notice that biblical prophecy:
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:15-18)
The technology to do the above did not exist when Jesus had the Apostle John pen the Book of Revelation. But the technology now exists and AI will be used to monitor this.
The Continuing Church of God (CCOG) put out the following related video on our Bible News Prophecy YouTube channel:

666, the Censorship Industrial Complex, and AI
We are seeing more and more censorship, particularly on the internet. Matt Taibi has termed the coordination of this from governments, academia, Big Tech, and “fact checkers,” the ‘Censorship Industrial Complex.’ Is more censorship prophesied to happen? What did the prophet Amos write in the 5th and 8th chapter of his book? What about writings from the Apostle Peter? Is the USA government coercing censorship in violation of the first amendment to its constitution according to federal judges? What about the Digital Services Act from the European Union. Is artificial intelligence (AI) being used? What about for the video game ‘Call of Duty’? Has Google made changes that are against religious speech? Has YouTube, Facebook, Twitter (X), and others in Big Tech been censoring factually accurate information? Is the US government using AI to monitor social media to look for emotions in order to suppress information? What is mal-information? Is a famine of the word of God prophesied to come? Will the 666 Beast and the Antichrist use computers and AI for totalitarian censorship and control?
Here is a link to our video: 666, the Censorship Industrial Complex, and AI.
AI will not free humanity as much as increase surveillance and control.
But that will be replaced after Jesus returns and the loving and truthful Kingdom of God will be established.

"Its was well documented (slowly being removed or hidden on the big search engines) that the west African slave trade was started by the Spanish and Portuguese about 150 years before the uk and USA got involved. Of the estimated 12.5 million slaves taken out of West Africa, Spain amd Portugal were responsible for the removall of 7 million. 3.5 million by the uk and contrary to what the narrative is trying to inform you, the USA took only 330,000. Other nations involved were France, Belguim and Holland to name a few. The latter took over 500 000 slaves out of Africa. Yes more than the USA.
Furthermore, the East African slave trade took an estimated 14 to 17 million slaves out of the contintent into the Arabian peninsula.
However unless you do a thorough search and dig deep, you will only find articles highlighting the USA and UK as having slaves because thats the narrative that is being peddled. Only white people from uk and USA enslaved African apparently. However that is far from the whole truth."

Five things you need to know before buying an NFT
The market for NFTs has become very expressive over the past two years, following multi-million dollar sales of digital art that were tokenized on the blockchain — hence the term “non-fungible token”, and Acronym NFT.
Over the past year, the new virtual asset class has become popular not only with cryptocurrency investors , but also with celebrities, who don’t hesitate to spend thousands of dollars on Ethereum to own or produce their NFTs.
In 2021, the global NFT transaction volume will be 23 billion US dollars , most of which will come from the “fear of being excluded” (“FOMO”), which has driven many people to invest in the industry. But many new investors know little or nothing about how NFTs work, leaving them prone to mistakes that can cause them headaches.
Therefore, to enter the world of non-fungible tokens, one must be careful, especially for beginners, because the investment style can be affected by the volatility of the crypto market. There is risk of loss, and there are scams, as in any financial industry, but it is also a segment that offers good opportunities.
Asked for comment, Bruno Milanello, Head of New Business at MB , said there are some important questions before investing in an NFT collection or project.
Assess your investor profile
“It’s important to understand that NFTs are cryptoassets (yes, they are, but not cryptocurrencies), and as with any investment, questions about your profile, horizon, risk appetite, and personal goals must be considered,” says the expert .
Check item transparency
Milanello then highlighted more specific issues in the space. “Avoid projects or NFTs where the team is anonymous. The reason is simple: there is no reason to hide. Transparency is the name of the game.” He explained:
“It’s important to remember that when you create an NFT, you create a community around it, so the project must have an active social network, preferably with a few followers. NFT Development An active community is a great sign of support for the project, And will likely continue to receive support.”
Be wary of “sweepstakes” and celebrity endorsements Another point to consider, experts say, is that even if several celebrities do get involved in the cryptocurrency world, it’s worth being wary when a celebrity who’s never been in the middle supports a project. “Avoid programs with lots of giveaways or random enrichment programs. There are no free snacks. There never will be,” he notes.
Do a lot of research on the collection
Milanello summed up the advice that is very important in any type of market, and that is to get in the habit of researching a specific product. “Look at the team’s project history. Search, investigate. In the end, it’s important to understand what the series is about, understand the roadmap, is delivery feasible, are they paying attention, and are communicating with followers, investors, and fans in a transparent way and in a clear manner”.
be wary of speculation
Attorney Nathaly Diniz, an expert in smart contracts and tokenization, warns to be cautious when entering the world of NFTs, as it is also a speculative market.
She cites the case of Iranian businessman Sina Estavi as an example. Last year, he bought an NFT of Jack Dorsey’s first tweet print for $2.9 million, but he couldn’t get the high price when he auctioned off the cryptocurrency earlier this year and set the price at $50 million. Bidding at $9900 .
“The specific case highlights one of the harshest criticisms of the NFT market: the enormous speculation that pervades it. If the motivation for buying a certain NFT is to make a profit, then one needs to be very careful about choosing, and even then, there is no guarantee that the futures market will assigning the same price or higher value to a certain project than the one at the moment of its acquisition,” Diniz also told the report on Friday afternoon.
According to Diniz, “lovers” would say that this is a high-risk investment in which eventual losses are inherent in the model, as eventual profits can follow the same proportions. “Critics will say it’s a highly speculative market, bordering on gambling, which can lead to exponential losses for participants,” he noted.
and concluded:
“While the practice of collection is typical of human beings, it can be observed that NFTs with ‘added value’ are more likely to prosper in the marketplace, i.e. granting their holders access to VIP clubs, advantages, or exclusive perks for buyers. NFT Genrator This may is one of the strongest indications that prevailing prices will be maintained.”

I’m Abandoning Body Positivity and Here’s Why
In short: it’s fatphobic.
“A rallying cry for a shift in societal norms has now become the skinny girl’s reassurance that she isn’t really fat. Fatness, through this lens of ‘body positivity’, remains the worst thing a person can be.” (Kayleigh Donaldson)
•  •  •
I have always had a lot of conflicting opinions about the body positivity movement, but it’s much more widely known (and accepted, go figure) than the fat liberation movement, so I often used the two terms interchangeably in conversation about anti-fatness. But the longer I’ve been following the body positivity movement, the more I’ve realized how much it has strayed from its fat lib origins. It has been hijacked; deluded to center thin, able, white, socially acceptable bodies.
Bopo’s origins are undoubtedly grounded in fat liberation. The fat activists of the 1960s paved the way for the shred of size acceptance we see in media today, initially protesting the discrimination and lack of access to equal opportunities for fat people specifically. This early movement highlighted the abuse, mental health struggles, malpractice in the medical field, and called for equal pay, equal access, equal respect, an end to fatphobic structures and ideas. It saddens me that it hasn’t made much progress in those regards.
Today, the #bopo movement encapsulates more the idea of loving your own body versus ensuring that individuals regardless of their weight and appearance are given equal opportunities in the workplace, schools, fashion and media. Somehow those demands never made it outside of the ‘taboo’ category, and privileged people would much more readily accept the warm and fuzzy, sugar-coated message of “love yourself!” But as @yrfatfriend once said, this idea reduces fat people’s struggles to a problem of mindset, rather than a product of external oppressors that need to be abolished in order for fat people to live freely.
That generalized statement, “love yourself,” is how a movement started by fat people for the rights of fat people was diluted so much, it now serves a thin model on Instagram posting about how she has a tummy roll and cellulite on her thighs - then getting praised for loving her body despite *gasp!* its minor resemblance to a fat body.
Look. Pretty much everyone has insecurities about their bodies, especially those of us who belong to marginalized groups. If you don’t have body issues, you’re a privileged miracle, but our beauty-obsessed society has conditioned us to want to look a certain way, and if we have any features that the western beauty standard considers as “flaws,” yeah! We feel bad about it! So it’s not surprising that people who feel bad about themselves would want to hop on a movement that says ‘hey, you’re beautiful as you are!’ That’s a message everyone would like to hear. Any person who has once thought of themselves as less than beautiful now feels that this movement is theirs. And everyone has insecurities, so everyone feels entitled to the safe space. And when a space made for a minority includes the majority, the cycle happens again and the majority oppresses the minority. What I’m trying to explain here is that thin people now feel a sense of ownership over body positive spaces.
Regardless of how badly thin people feel about their bodies, they still experience thin privilege. They can sit down in a theater or an airplane without even thinking about it, they can eat in front of others without judgement, they can go the doctor with a problem and actually have it fixed right away, they can find cute clothes in their size with ease, they do not suffer from assumptions of laziness/failure based on stereotype, they see their body type represented everywhere in media, the list goes on and on. They do not face discrimination based off of the size of their body.
Yet diet culture and fatphobia affects everyone, and of course thin people do still feel bad about the little fat they have on their bodies. But the failure to examine WHY they feel bad about it, is what perpetuates fatphobia within the bopo movement. They’re labeled “brave” for showing a pinch of chub, yet fail to address what makes it so acceptably daring, and how damaging it is to people who are shamed for living in fat bodies. Much like the rest of society, thin body positivity is still driven by the fear of fat, and does nothing to dismantle fatphobia within structures or within themselves.
Evette Dionne sums it up perfectly in her article, “The Fragility of Body Positivity: How a Radical Movement Lost Its Way.”
“The body-positive media economy centers these affirming, empowering, let-me-pinch-a-fat-roll-to-show-how-much-I-love-myself stories while failing to actually challenge institutions to stop discriminating against fat people. More importantly, most of those stories center thin, white, cisgender, heterosexual women who have co-opted the movement to build their brands. Rutter has labeled this erasure ‘Socially Acceptable Body Positivity.’
“On social media, it actually gets worse for fat bodies: We’re not just being erased from body positivity, fat women are being actively vilified. Health has become the stick with which to beat fat people with [sic], and the benchmark for whether body positivity should include someone” (Dionne).
Ah, yes. The medicalization of fat bodies, and the moralization of health. I’ve ranted about this before. Countless comments on posts of big women that say stuff like “I’m all for body positivity, but this is just unhealthy and it shouldn’t be celebrated.” I’ve heard writer/activist Aubrey Gordon once say that body positivity has become something like a shield for anti-fatness. It’s anti-fatness that has been repackaged as empowerment. It’s a striking double-standard. Fat people are told to be comfortable in their bodies (as if that’s what’s going to fix things) but in turn are punished when they’re okay with being fat. Make it make sense.
Since thin people feel a sense of ownership over body positive spaces, and they get to hide behind “health” when they are picking and choosing who can and cannot be body positive, they base it off of who looks the most socially acceptable. And I’m sure they aren’t consciously picking and choosing, it comes from implicit bias. But the socially acceptable bodies they center are small to medium fat, with an hourglass shape. They have shaped a new beauty standard specifically FOR FAT PEOPLE. (Have you ever seen a plus sized model with neck fat?? I’m genuinely asking because I have yet to find one!) The bopo movement works to exclude and silence people who are on the largest end of the weight spectrum.
Speaking of exclusion, let’s talk about fashion for a minute.
For some reason, (COUGH COUGH CAPITALISM) body positivity is largely centered around fashion. And surprise surprise, it’s still not inclusive to fat people. Fashion companies get a pat on the back for expanding their sizing two sizes up from what they previously offered, when they are still leaving out larger fat people completely. In general, clothing companies charge more for clothes with more fabric, so people who need the largest sizes are left high and dry. It’s next to impossible to find affordable clothes that also look nice. Fashion piggybacks on the bopo movement as a marketing tactic, and exploits the very bodies it claims to be serving. (Need I mention the time Urban Outfitters used a "curvy” model to sell a size it doesn’t even carry?)
The movement also works to exclude and silence fat Black activists.
In her article, “The Body Positivity Movement Both Takes From and Erases Fat Black Women” Donyae Coles explains how both white people and thin celebrities such as Jameela Jamil profit from the movement that Black women built.
“Since long before blogging was a thing, fat Black women have been vocal about body acceptance, with women like Sharon Quinn and Marie Denee, or the work of Sonya Renee Taylor with The Body Is Not An Apology. We’ve been out here, and we’re still here, but the overwhelming face of the movement is white and thin because the mainstream still craves it, and white and thin people have no problem with profiting off the work of fat, non-white bodies.”
“There is a persistent belief that when thin and/or white people enter the body positive realm and begin to repeat the messages that Black women have been saying for years in some cases, when they imitate the labor that Black women have already put in that we should be thankful that they are “boosting” our message. This completely ignores the fact that in doing so they are profiting off of that labor. They are gaining the notoriety, the mark of an expert in something they learned from an ignored Black woman” (Coles).
My next essay will go into detail about this and illuminate key figures who paved the way for body acceptance in communities of color.
The true purpose of this movement has gotten completely lost. So where the fuck do we go from here?
We break up with it, and run back to the faithful ex our parents disapproved of. We go back to the roots of the fat liberation movement, carved out for us by the fat feminists, the queer fat activists, the fat Black community, and the allies it began with. Everything they have preached since the 1960s and 70s is one hundred percent applicable today. We get educated. We examine diet culture through a capitalist lens. We tackle thin, white-supremacist systems and weight based discrimination, as well as internalized bias. We challenge our healthcare workers to unlearn their bias, treat, and support fat patients accordingly. We make our homes and spaces accessible and welcoming to people of any size, or any (dis)ability. “We must first protect and uplift people in marginalized bodies, only then can we mandate self-love” (Gordon).
Think about it. In the face of discrimination, mistreatment, and emotional abuse, we as a society are telling fat people to love their bodies, when we should be putting our energy toward removing those fatphobic ideas and structures so that fat people can live in a world that doesn’t require them to feel bad about their bodies. It’s like hitting someone with a rock and telling them not to bruise!
While learning to love and care for the body that you’re in is important, I think that body positivity also fails in teaching that because it puts even more emphasis on beauty. Instead of saying, “you don’t have to be ‘beautiful’ to be loved and appreciated,” its main lesson is that “all bodies are beautiful.” We live in a society obsessed with appearance, and it is irresponsible to ignore the hierarchy of beauty standards that exist in every space. Although it should be relative, “beautiful” has been given a meaning. And that meaning is thin, abled, symmetric, and eurocentric.
Beauty and ugliness are irrelevant, made-up constructs. People will always be drawn to you no matter what, so you deserve to exist in your body without struggling to conform to an impossible and bigoted standard. Love and accept your body for YOURSELF AND NO ONE ELSE, because you do not exist to please the eyes of other people. That’s what I wish we were teaching instead. Radical self acceptance!
As of today, the ultimate message of the body positivity movement is: Love your body “despite its imperfections.” Or people with “perfect and imperfect bodies both deserve love.” As long as we are upholding the notion that there IS a perfect body that looks a certain way, and every body that falls outside of that category is imperfect, we are upholding white supremacy, eugenics, anti-fatness, and ableism.

Now we are moving to a small but vey charismatic family: The hippos. I think this is an animals that is loved by the majority. Looking at its massive size combined with its features is understandable why.
However don’t get mistaken. This animal is a fierce and the one to blame for the most fatalities in Africa. it is a very territorial animal that won’t hesitate to charge if threatened or feeling its territory invaded. The biggest problem with humans happens usually at nights, when the animal leaves the rivers to graze moving various kilometers away from river basins, encountering unaware humans. Running it’s the only option but not a sure escape since despite its weight, hippos can reach up to 50km/h.
Hippos depends on rivers because it’s skin, which is actually pink, cannot resist the sunlight and will dry fast. And despite living its majority of time in water, they are unable to swim.
5 subspecies have been named but just three are recognized nowadays and they are still subjected to changes.
Male hippos fights are barbaric and they mostly happen to get the best spot in the river which will attract the most females. Once a male is dethrone, the new king won’t hesitate on killing the offspring of the old king in order to began leaving its own genes.
Hippos in Colombia? Unfortunately, yes. Not because I don’t like them (I’m Colombian) but because they have become a threat to other endemic species of the country. Hippos were brought to Colombia illegally by narco’s most famous Pablo Escobar and were put in its private zoo. When he was killed, the zoo closed but the hippos and some other animals were left in the area. While some animals died, the hippos however, flourished. Today, they occupied a vast area of the country and they begin to clash with other animals such as the inoffensive manatees.
While they yet don’t represent a threat to humans (some attacks have been registered) because they are not as territorial as in Africa. (It is believe because they have a larger area to develop) if the quantity keeps growing, they will become as dangerous as in Africa. For now, people greeted in towns because of its natural charm and can become touristic attraction. There are some possible solutions to this issue. One will be to sterilize all males, which is kind of unthinkable because of how expensive this could be. Other will be to send them to various zoos around the world, which is still not enough and  the last one will be to kill them all. I have an opinion about it but I would love to hear yours.

It was a well-known fact that I loved partnering with Spencer. We could always joke around and make eachother feel better, even when working the bad cases. But I feel like this was a little ridiculous.
"Are you shitting me?" The words slipped from my mouth so easily, which I immediatly regretted. Spencer gave me *the look* and elbowed my side.
"I'm sorry Y/n, you and Spencer are the two people who are the most compatible to seem like a couple, and we need hard proof before we arrest him." Hotch explained with his usual amount of enthusiasm.
None.
"Hotch, this guy is dangerous and we will be in there without vests, is what I believe y/n is trying to say." Spencer leaned back in his seat, flipping through the mans file.
"We will have sharp-shooters pointing through every window at him in case anything gets out of hand. This is non negotiable." And with that, he left.
"Well, clearly we have no choice." I stood from my seat, flattening my skirt. "I'm gonna go home and get an outfit ready. You aren't wearing that to the party either." I pointed to his outfit.
"What's wrong with my outfit?!" He scoffed, hugging his sweater vest.
"Okay, one, this isn't some dingy hole in the wall. And two, even if it was, you don't go to a nice party looking like someone who has 3 PhD's in the first place." The smirk on my lips grew wider as he feigned offense.
"Fine, I'll find something nicer to wear. I'll pick you up at 7 and tell the team to meet us there." I agreed and left the conference room a little grumpy, quickly making a bee line to the elevator before anyone could comment on my mood.
-
I stared at the 3 dresses in front of me. They were all the same style, but different colors.
White, yellow, and olive green.
I wasn't sure why I was having so much trouble picking a *color*. I always say that I dress for myself, which is what I was trying to do right now.
Right?
I totally wasn't thinking back to that conversation I had with Spencer a few weeks ago.
-
*"Y/n!" Emily looked at me with surprise. "You look so beautiful in white! Why don't you wear it more?" She was right, I never wore it. Me and Penelope were pretty known for wearing many colors, mine just had to be paired with a black skirt.*
*"I'm so clumsy." I laughed. "I live in constant fear that I'll spill coffee on it. Hence why I'm not holding a cup of joe."*
*"I agree with Emily, you look nice in white." Spencer chimed in. "You know the psychological meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion. In color psychology, white is the color of new beginnings, of wiping the slate clean, so to speak." He then took a sip of his coffee.*
*"Yeah well I don't know about the innocent part." I giggled, looking to Emily who gave me a shrug and nod. Spencer choked a bit on his coffee. "You alright there Spence?" He saluted me and headed to his desk, which put me and Emily into a fit of giggles.*
-
I reluctantly grabbed the white one, silently hoping that I was less of a klutz tonight.
The satin dress slipped on me easily. It came down to about 2 or so inches above my knees and had thin straps. I paired it with some semi-transparent heels and called it a day. I put on a little heavier makeup to look the part. Foundation, winged eyeliner, blush, highlight, and mascara. Lastly, I tied my hair up in a simple straightened pony-tail.
By the time my indecisive ass was done choosing everything, it was nearly 7 and I knew that Spence would be early. My heels clicked as I walked on my wood floors, heading to the front door. Getting there just in time to hear a knock. I must have startled him by opening it so fast because he stumbled back a bit. He wore a nice white button up and tighter pants than usual, paired with nice black oxfords.
And then he just stood there.
I waved my hand in front of his face.
"Hi!" He shook his head a bit. "Hello there, back to Earth I see. Do you wanna come in and have a glass of water before this whole event, since you are," I leaned back into my doorway to look at the time. "12 minutes early?"
"Oh, yeah sure." I cleared the way so he could walk in. I shook the heels from my feet, taking me down at least three inches before stepping into the kitchen. I grabbed two glasses.
"Do you want ice?" I turned to him, he was sitting at my island. He just shook his head. "Okay." I laughed, putting ice in mine and just filling his with water. The glass clinked as it hit the island in front of him. "You're pretty quiet, are you okay?" The tips of his ears reddened.
"Yeah! I'm just a little nervous, you?" He swiftly brought the water to his lips, guzzling it down like he hadn't drank anything in days. He then stood up.
"Of course I'm nervous." I came around to his side of the counter and swooned into his arms. "But I'll have a great protector there." He smiled down at me with a shake of his head, standing me back up.
Now it's time to head out.
-
We pulled up to the location in Spencer's Volvo, which was incredibly nice to ride in. ~~and I would love to get use to riding in it~~.
"Okay, I have one thing to fix with your outfit." I turned to him before we exited the car. His eyes narrowed at this comment. I leaned forward and unbuttoned two buttons. "Now you look like your going to a party."
"Thank you expert. Stay in the car, I'm going to open your door, the bouncer works with him and we have to go all out on this act." He nodded his head at the bouncer a few yards away.
I wish this wasn't an act.
He opened the door, offering his hand. I took it with a gracious smile, interlacing our fingers. We walked up to the bouncer, who had an ipad with the guest list in hand. Penelope had hacked into their list and added our names, well fake names.
"Mr and Mrs. Adler." Spencer spoke as I leaned into his side. The man scrolled through the list, he tapped our names and opened the door.
It opened to a large room, filled with dozens of people. I leaned up on my tippy toes and whispered into Spencer's ear.
"If we die, I'm going to kill you." I pulled away with a smile, patting his shoulder. His Adam's apple bobbed while he gulped. "So, what's this guys networth, I mean he seems pretty damn rich to throw a party like this." He looked down at me quizzically. "I know you know what it is, I'm sure you have researched him extensively. So what is it?"
"6.2 million dollars." He recited, looking towards the crowd, scanning for the man in question.
"Wow, I can't imagine being that rich! How old are his kids, maybe I can date one."
"Be careful what you say, someone might think we are suspicious." He pulled me into his side, kissing the top of my head.
This night is going to be agonizing. "There he is." We made our way to him slowly, stopping at small drink stations. Just as we were about to get to some seats near him, a server came up to us.
"Hello! Welcome. Would you guys like anything?" She handed Spencer a very small menu. I could see the slight confusion in his eyes. It was truly a weird thing to do at such a big party.
*Salad*
*Potato Soup*
*Fruit Bowl*
*Veggie Bowl*
"I'll have a salad, and the lady will have a fruit bowl." He pointed to the seats we were on our way to. "We will be over there. Thank you." He put his hand on the small of my back, leading us to the seats.
"How did you know I wanted a fruit bowl?"
"You bring some kind of fruit cup to work every day, I'm observant." Right as we were about to sit down, another couple took the seats, not even noticing that we were heading there.
"Well damn. I say we stand next to his table until our food gets here, then we go to the other corner of the room and observe, then we catch him making the deal." I led him to the space by the table. After just a few minutes of waiting, the young lady who took our orders he returned, holding a small bowl of salad and a fruit bowl.
"Have a good night!" She chimed, how can someone be so happy with so many people around?
We ventured to the other side of the room, I grabbed two glasses of champagne from another server on the way. I peered at Spencer over the skinny glass, he was staring at his salad.
"What, is there something wrong?"
"Why is there so much white stuff on it? It's not ranch, I know what ranch looks like." My giggle was muffled slightly by the glass.
"That's what she said." He raised one eyebrow. Then a look of realization came over his face.
"You have a dirty mind." He mixed together the salad to distribute the 'white stuff'. We subtly stared every once in a while over at the mans table.
His name was Anton Todd, but his customers called him Ton. He was someone who frequently assassinated people. He was a hitman to be exact. We had an outside source tell us that a new customer would be coming in to request business, so we could kill two birds with one stone.
So far the man we knew as Cole Kamargo had not come to ask for Antons *services* yet. We had been standing in this corner of the room for a while, just watching him. That's when I caught his eye.
His gaze was terrifying, it struck me right through my soul, and I just couldn't stop looking. He squinted at me, tilting his head. Spencer shook my shoulder.
"Y/n, stop staring at him." It was like being lost in someone's eyes in the worst way possible. I watched as he stood from the table, making his way over with a sour look on his face.
"Shit shit shit shit." I mumbled as he got closer.
"Shit is right. Do you trust me?" I kept my eyes on the man.
"Of course." He grabbed my hips, pushing me against the wall behind us and kissed me hard. He trailed his left hand up to the back of my neck, holding me there. I gasped in surprise, leading him to slip his tongue in my mouth. Meaning we were full on making out. I pushed my hands into his hair, gladly accepting the kiss and sighing into it. Suddenly, Spencer was pulled from me. And there he stood.
Anton.
"Tell your girl to stop fuckin' staring at me." He spat, glaring at me.
"Sorry sir, my wife has ADHD, she zones out frequently." He rushed to my side and pulled me into his side protectively. Anton rolled his eyes and left the area.
I looked up at Spencer, his cheeks were a deep shade of red, and he was touching his lips.
"Thank you. Also, you're a good kisser." I remarked, nudging his side a bit. He looked down at me with wide eyes. "What? Am I not allowed to compliment your kissing? It's good!" I laughed heartily, looping my arm into his.
"Ditto." A smile grew on his lips. I could get use to this. Spencer noticed an available seat near us, so he sat patting his lap.
"Excuse me?"
"Come sit on my lap!" He chuckled.
"I'm glad your getting use to the idea of me being your *wife*." I sat on his lap, leaning my head back onto his shoulder. My hands made their way to the heel of my foot, slightly slipping my shoe off. "These heels are from Satan I think." I rubbed at the sore skin.
"My tag is itchy." Spencer pulled at his collar, relieving the so called *itch*.
"These heels are peeling off my **skin**. But yes, keep complaining about your tag you whine ass." He turned his head to me, kissing my cheek.
"I'm sorry, I can put some neosporin on it when we get home. I mean, when we get-get you home." He stuttered, the tips of his ears once again turning an extravagant shade of red. I kissed his jaw.
"Thank you *baby*." We were then interrupted by a woman next to us.
"How long have you guys been married?" The lady leaned over the booth, a ring was clearly shown on her finger.
"8 years." I answered quickly, before Spencer could say a contradicting answer.
"Wow! You guys look so young to be together so long. How do you guys keep it so... so beautiful?" She tilted her head at the question.
"What do you mean?" I asked, reaching my hand into Spencer's hair and playing with it momentarily.
"You seem so in love. You act like teenagers, I don't think I've looked that in love with my husband since we first met." She huffed.
"You just have to find someone who's easy to love." He leaned his head on mine. "I've never had a doubt in my mind that she was the one." The words stuck with me, I felt like they would be embedded in my soul for eternity.
"I think I need to get a divorce." She sunk into the seat, I watched as her husband come back and sat with her, she gave him a weak smile.
"Okay, we need to leave this area before we become homewreckers." I whispered, pulling him to his feet and fleeing into another direction. "We must be amazing actors." I laughed nervously.
"Yeah, actors." He murmered, but before I could comment on it, I saw Cole making his way to Anton.
"Spencer! It's Cole!" I screeched quietly. We discreetly made our way near the table, quickly catching the conversation and relaying it to Hotch.
Cole spoke of the horrible things he wanted done to his wife, it made me sick.
"FBI, get on the ground!" I pulled my gun from the left holster that Spencer had for me. I couldn't exactly *hide* a gun on this white dress. Spencer pulled his gun as well.
"We have you surrounded by sharpshooters aimed and ready to fire, so I suggest that you comply." Morgan came in soon, cuffing the both of them and leading the men to cars.
We now remained outside, sitting on the stairs of the large building.
"I enjoyed being your husband for a night." Spencer laughed, nudging my shoulder.
"And I enjoyed being your wife." I played with the fake ring on my finger. "Okay. Fuck it. Did you mean any of the things you said in there?" The words spat from my mouth quickly.
"Like what?" His voice was shaky.
"Like, that you never had a doubt that I was the one. Or was that part of the act. I would totally understand if it was, you're an amazing actor if it was because it honestly had me believing-" He put his finger to my lips.
"Yes, I meant it."
"Thank God." I grabbed his jaw with both hands and brought him to my lips. He smiled into the kiss, deepening it. His hands ran up and down my back slowly.
"I wouldn't mind doing this every day." He remarked, gesturing between our lips.
"I wouldn't either pretty boy."

JIKOOK MMA 2020- COMMENTARY
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: This is a commentary, not an expert analysis. I am not a ballerina. LTRS.
Let's all agree right here, right now, that if ever a moment deserve to be immortalized for all eternity, that it is this moment right here: the moment Jungkook lifts Jimin off the ground- it is the most super iconic IT moment of the year as far as shipping goes. Damn, was it beautiful. Goddamn!
Personally, I had so many flashbacks of unchartered fantasies, hopes and dreams- the least delusional of which is JK saying with a deep voice, after lifting JM off the ground, 'would you marry me please' and Jimin, shook out of his wits would respond in Satoori, 'we are already married, you idiot. Now put me down!' Lol.
What? A girl can dream... Leave me alone. Lol
A lot has been said of this dance and so I won't rumble on for long. I'm just gonna focus on the moments that stood out for me:
The first of which would be the build up to that performance- BigHit, you sneaky conglomerate bastard! Lol.
Y'all saw what they did there right? For weeks I have been bombarded with questions about the seemingly 'tensions' between Jikook- everyone was slipping me the 'something is up with Jikook' pill but chilee, I look at them and all I could see was Jikook up in their shenanigans. Lol
I think I mentioned this in a previous post? Anywho. I think the thing that most of us was experiencing with Jikook was the unnecessary 'limited' interactions between them in the recent content we had been getting post Jimin's birthday but regardless, there were still moments of them 'giving themselves away' like in the Grammy reaction video when Jimin instinctively turned to JK in his moment of excitement.
His hesitation was worrying though, because normally he wouldn't- they wouldn't, hesitate to hug the person that they want to hug in their moments of emotional outbursts unless something was hindering them.
Ergo, I felt, if he was hesitating, then clearly it meant there was something holding him back or stressing their dynamic- I think I've definitely talked about this right? Instinctual reactions and all that jazz?
It didn't feel like he was having problems with Kook though, honestly. Because, in spite of all these little inconsistent moments of 'tensions' between them, Jimin for the most part has been giving me the vibe he is falling in love all over again with Kook- Dont ask me why. Lol. This is just gonna be one of those statements I make in passing. Take note of it though, I'll talk about it again soon.
But from the little I've seen post Jimin's birthday, that's the vibe I'm getting. If you believe Jimin is in love with Kook and you have an idea of when he started falling in love with Kook in their love Journey, then I think you'd catch the signs too? If not, never mind. Lol.
Every now and then, I see him go through this phase- in my opinion. I can't wait to talk about it. And yes, it is what I meant when I said Jikook's dynamics seem to have flipped again lately. Time to turn on the crazy. Lol.
These minimum interactions between Jikook however, to me, felt more as if they were being 'monitored' or asked to 'tone things down' by the company or something rather than that they were having actual issues in their relationship- know what I mean?
For the love of me, I couldn't figure out why the company would ask them to tone things down... Until the blackswan performance.
I feel somehow that the lack of content and moments between Jikook in recent times, coupled with the seemingly faux tensions between them prior to their performance at the MMAs, without question, contributed to the wow factor of their performance. In my opinion- but stay with me.
BigHit ain't slick. Lol.
It's so on brand for them though, isn't it? Demand and supply and all that jazz. Chilee. Scarcity inflates the value of a product. I mean we've seen JK lift and carry Jimin in their dance performances several times now yet we can't deny this came as a shock and surprise for us all because we had zero idea what was 'going on between Jikook' behind the cameras- straight up Jedi mind trick. Lol.
Not to say the performance itself wasn't spectacular in of its own. I'd be mad damn liar and a fool if I peddled that nonsense anywhere. Lol.
I just want to point out how BigHit utilizes and taps Jikook's brand and magic in their business model, as this provides a stark contrast against BTS's marketing strategy for their self produced Album Be.
I tried explaining in my LGO analysis, how that project was a personal project of BTS' as a group and how as a group they had their own perception of brand and what sells- or who sells amongst them, as such they weren't going to and didn't star Jikook in that project as front and center.
Contrasting that project to this project, which is more of a BigHit piloted project rather than a personal project of the group's, you can see how Jikook's brand stands out and how it is being highlighted or even exploited for maximum return.
This is what I mean when I say Jikook is a brand. A powerful brand at that and that BigHit has a stake in their brand.
Jikook once again, overshadowed and dare I say, over powered BTS's own brand in that Blackswan performance- chileee, that performance was so Jikookcentric I forgot the others were even there. Lol.
I mean I saw NamJin jump in the foreground somewhere... I'm gonna get canceled am I not? Lmho.
VHope were powerful too. But I couldn't help but notice how neither of those individuals could have sold it the way JK did, had they been in his shoes. V and Hobi both have stamina and presence, yet for some reason I just can't picture either of them lifting Jimin up and spinning him the way JK did and does- not that they can't...
It's just, they take the spotlight too. Jimin is captivating when he dances- or does anything quiet frankly. And usually, he shines under the spotlight when there is undivided attention on him.
When he is paired with Hobi, V or even Suga, very often they act as distractions as they tend to compete with him for the viewer's attention and as such they don't necessarily compliment him. In my opinion.
Often too, when he is paired with RM or Jin, he tends to outshine them and make them look like rookies- Namjin... bless their hearts. Lol.
Kookie is the only member in the group that I feel compliments Jimin- well. Not that he isn't a great dancer too like Hobi or V, it's just whenever he is paired with Jimin in a performance he has the tendency to waive his spotlight and cede it to Jimin by letting go off his own shine and spotlight as well as his competitive spirit so Jimin can be highlighted.
It's why he is the perfect partner for Jimin and the perfect choice for this role in their duet. I think. He pulled it off guys. He PULLED IT OFF-chef's kiss JK. Chef's fucking kiss! Lol.
JK often talks about how he prefers to 'be behind the cameras,' how he often films the members but doesn't like being filmed or being in the spotlight and you see this in his GCFs where he takes the back bench and allows Jimin or even the others to dally in front of the camera.
I don't know if he is aware he does this in his dance too- because for the longest time critics often commented on his stage presence or lack of it there off- their words not mine...
Frankly, I never saw it that way. Because, paired with any other member, he squares up. Chilee. Lmho.
It's one thing to look great next to your partner, it's another to look great together next to eachother and Jikook looked great together in that moment- just exquisite and outstandingly beautiful.
The point of the black swan dance as RM had said in their blackswan Film reaction video, is not to highlight all seven but one- Jimin and that is exactly what JK did on that stage.
Jimin I felt wasn't as intense as he often is in his solo performances. He is brutal in the way he captures attention when he performs alone on a stage. His aura is demanding and alluring and if you can tear your eyes away from him when he is in the height of his performances then- share your magic formula you lucky bastard. Free us all from Jimin's hold. HELP! Lol.
But for some reason, in this performance, he wasn't lost in himself in the moment. It took me a while to understand what was happening-he was equally relinquishing his shine so Kook could share the spotlight with him- please, leave me here to die.
Tumblr media
They each compete against the members when they perform with them on a stage, but they never seem to compete against eachother. They move in awareness of eachother and lift eachother up. They enhance eachother's presence and when they collide it's harmonious. This is what we mean when we say Jikook compliment eachother- nobody is doing it like them.
They were both powerful in their strides, graceful in their descent. They did it. They killed it.

GOLDY

[SPECULATION] Fontaine's storyline
This was originally written at July 2, 2021 as a twitter thread. I only found time to place it in my tumblr archive in order for it to be more sustainable.
Speculation under the cut.
Musings about Fontaine, the current and former Archon and what do I expect from Chapter 4 of the Teyvat Storyline based on the little information we have about Fontaine because I am desperate.
(📌) Disclaimer! All of these are my own thoughts and assumptions about what could happen in Fontaine's storyline and given the limited information we know about the region, EVERYTHING in this thread should be taken with a grain of salt.
The two major takeaways I have for this thread is the Wishful Drops event where we learn more about Oceanids or also known as Lochfolks and their connections to the former and current Hydro Archon plus the gemstone narration from the God of Justice!
Also some deep analysis of the chapter title and the latin part shown in the Teyvat Storyline preview. I'm desperate for Fontaine alright
(📖) What do we know about Fontaine?
As of the moment, we only know bits and parts of the culture of Fontaine based on the following things: - Mona's job as a columnist for the Steambird, this highlights the media aspect of their culture. - Notes of Fontaine NPCS (Caspar, Francis and Gaiman) - Yanfei's voiceline and comment about the justice system of Fontaine, really complicated which highlights how they value laws more. - The Kamera's origin! It's also ironic how the first camera also originated from France. This highlights that Fontaine is somewhat technologically advanced in a way. (I'll put more emphasis here once Inazuma's storyline is officially released. According to leaks, there are some Fontaine crumbs that I will gather once it is out.)
There's actually a lot more that I would like to list down but these are the things that stood out to me the most! Also before you ask,yes I did not forget about Xinyan's rock and roll origin. I will touch on that too!
Based on what we have so far, I think Fontaine is a heavily modernized region with mix of past culture, most likely in the 1910s. As expected, they have a huge focus in their justice system, which Yanfei, who is an expert in law notes to be notoriously complicated.
Tumblr media
Another focus of Fontaine is the media aspect! The Court of Fontaine (assumed to be the one who is in charge of the region, just like the Liyue Qixing and KoF) has their very own newspaper. They have all sorts of things that's in that newspaper, including Mona's column.
With this, I do think that the role of the media and law will play a heavy aspect in Fontaine's storyline. Politics is something the media craves to get the most coverage for and with a newspaper such as big as the Steambird, I'm sure there will be a lot of
important events being reported there. I do look forward the time that we can obtain our very own copy of the Steambird to see how crazy the media is in Fontaine.
Culture! We all know the basis of Fontaine, France is regarded as the "center of high culture." Based on Francis' voiceline, we can also assume that Fontaine takes pride in their elegance! Keep the word elegance in mind, cause I'm also gonna talk about it later.
Tumblr media
And as for rock n roll. I'd like to think this is mhy integrating the culture of others to represent the high pride of Fontaine's culture. I do not know how to talk about this in the thread but I'll touch about it in a later one.
Let's move on to my favorite part. 🤭 Hydro Archon lore!
(⛲️) The God of Justice
According to Dain's narrative about the God of Justice, we know that she lives to see the happenings of the courtroom and how she seeks to judge other gods as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But even with her pursuit if judging the gods, she does it in a way that wouldn't make her the enemy of the divine.
But we can't always trust Dain's narrative since he's sometimes an unreliable narrator. (whoops)
Let's also take note of the gemstone narration! This came from the God of Justice herself which gives insight on her personality and perspective!
Tumblr media
The gemstone quote starts with her saying, "My ideals have no stains." Based on this saying alone, I assume that she is somewhat of a narcissist and is incredibly confident in her ideals to the point that she'll say it does not have "stains"
She also says that the people do not bear sins in the eyes of the gods, this shows that she cares about her people and thinks that only the law and the Tribunal can judge a person and not the gods.
The God of Justice then adds that it is also okay for the law and the Tribunal to judge her too. She then later proceeds to praise herself for her magnificence and purity, a sign that she is extremely confident in her stand in the law.
Now, let's move on to some random musings about her! I'd like to touch on a certain god who can serve as a basis of her stand in law or would at least, influence her statue's design.
Themis. Greek Titaness of Divine Law and Order.
Tumblr media
Totally did not add this because of mhy's other game Tears of Themis. (I think you guys should pre-register) but !! hear me out I have a reason why Themis is here in this thread.
To put, I think Themis can serve as an inspiration to the God of Justice's design because of, the elements. The elements of Lady Justice can somehow be found in what we know of the Hydro Archon's ideals...
And to be honest, I haven't done any concrete research about this just yet but with the blindfold to represent the saying of impartiality or "Justice is blind" resonates with her gemstone's saying.
The people and even the gods are all judged by the law.
So, anyways, now that we established the possible inspiration mhy will take from "Lady Justice" or Themis, allow me to talk about the next key part of my point, which is the former Hydro Archon, the one mentioned in the Wishful Drops event!
(⛲️) The former Hydro Archon, the Lochfolk Scouts & Speculation regarding how the God of Justice became the current Hydro Archon.
Before we start, I wrote a lengthy blog post on my tumblr regarding this theory you can give it a read here, although it is kind of updated and I will add new theories to this regarding this speculation: https://nazurenesu.tumblr.com/post/651700064944816128/the-dreams-of-yesteryear-and-the-courtroom-of
The Wishful Drops event gave us a lot of lore about Fontaine and the origins of the Oceanids across Teyvat.
According to what Endora said in Life Flows On (II) it seems that these water creatures have more than being an annoying boss to fight with.
Tumblr media
From what Endora told us, I think the previous Hydro Archon was someone who was eager to learn more about the world and find a way to connect them, so she decided to send the Lochfolk Scouts to all around Teyvat to become "spies" for her.
But with her passing and the God of Justice taking her place, the Lochfolk Scouts disagreed with her actions and refused to return to Fontaine. This made me think about, what was the difference of ideals of the former and current or what if, there was something
more to the former's death than we think? What if... the former Hydro Archon was actually an Oceanid who was on the verge of corruption?
Oceanids are connected to water. Their entire life is connected to it and with one small change in water, it can affect their life. Even their emotions can affect the water too, much like we have seen with Rhodeia's rage
making the water near Dawn Winery bitter and almost killing Endora.
The mind of an Oceanid is easily tainted, because their life depends on water. A little pollution can become a threat to their existence. So, if we were to roll with the former Hydro Archon is an Oceanid theory, there is a chance that at one point
of her ruling, she was on the verge of corruption.
So, what would this mean? Where would the God of Justice be in place?
The God of Justice seeks to judge all Gods. She will not hesitate to act once she sees something that violates the law.
Considering the name of her gemstone in Chinese: "Varunada" is instead 涤净 Díjìng, "Cleansing, Purging". We can say that the God of Justice, "cleansed" the former Hydro Archon of her corruption, in other words, killed her as she was a threat to Fontaine.
Yes, you heard me! I am theorizing that the God of Justice killed the former Hydro Archon as it was her way of showing her judgement to the Archon. Despite of her Archon status, the God of Justice did what she had to do
before the nation of Fontaine was farmed because of the former's corruption.
So, maybe the hatred of the Lochfolks towards the God of Justice stemmed from the fact she had to kill the former Hydro Archon. Maybe this could be a misunderstanding between two sides, seeing as
most of the Lochfolks were scattered all across Teyvat, giving them less means of checking on the condition of their archon every now and then.
Now that we have the condition of current Fontaine and my theory as to why the Hydro Archon was replaced by the God of Justice, it's time for me to talk about what I think might happen based on the chapter title and the things we know about Fontaine!
(📖) Speculation for Chapter 4's storyline
The chapter title is what made me anticipate for Fontaine, "Masquerade of the Guilty" which can imply a lot of things!
Remember that "Grand Thief" in the 1.4 archon quest? What if the "Grand Thief" we met wasn't actually the "Grand Thief"?
What if, the characters (well the story relevant ones) for Fontaine follow the theme of double life?
A mask can conceal a person's identity, hence the title Masquerade and this supposed masquerade is for the ones who are deemed guilty.
What if Lyney and Lynette aren't actually what we think? What if there is more to them than what meets the eye?
Even with a double life, the law will find a way to expose those lies.
Basically, I expect a lot of things regarding a double life, how a law system works and maybe, that intelligence organization Diluc is a part of, I have a hunch that the organization is from Fontaine.
And once we meet the Hydro Archon, we will soon get to know her ideals about the law and maybe she herself will be the judge to our trial...

5x07, 5x08 and 5x09 thoughts.
In which I complain a lot about the last 3 episodes. It’s long and boring. Read at your own discretion.
I just needed to get this out of my system. I try not to overthink it when I watch the show but I can’t help it! So I’ve come to accept the overthinking as a part of me LOL.
I’m angry, okay? Possibly because I’ve been debating myself whether to post this or not for three weeks but also because they erased from the face of Earth the relatable and inspiring Mac that I used to know.
I’m going to start with the positives! 5x07, 5x08 and 5x07 were average MacGyver episodes and they weren’t bad. They were etertaining and had the science moments we all like. Also, 5x06 is the highlight of the season so far because if felt like MacGyver again and since it was written/produced by the new team it means THERE’S HOPE.
From episodes 7 to 9 they just did the job to put the episode on air. That’s about it.
Maybe the fact that they were just good enough is the reason why I feel indiferent 5x07 and 5x08. I’ve been wondering why since both of those were pretty good episodes overall.
{ ! } 5x07 left me with a bad aftertaste. You have to understand that 5x06 was a lovely episode and regressing to the dumb “let’s put this whole bagagge of blame in Mac’s shoulders as if the rest of the characters didn’t have anything better to do” was upsetting.
If the focus would had been completely in the danger of someone stealing the idea instead of having the team doing an inquisition on Mac (from the very beginning to the end), then it would’ve been a much better episode in my opinion.
Also, you make an episode centered in cancer and you DON’T make a reflection on it? What’s the point of the episode? That there’s people who can weaponize the cure for cancer? Where’s the depth, the layers? They barely mention how this whole thing is related to Mac’s dad in favor of blaming him because he created a an illegal bioweapon?
Turning a cancer sensible episode into a government conspiracy is so... American.
{ ! } 5x08 had the main issue that they had to distribute screen time in three parts since there were two incredible guest actors but also Mac himself. Idk, I’m not an expert in the topic but the episode did feel incomplete. As if there wasn’t enough screen time in either of the two more entertaining fronts (the guests scenes).
It was like a punchline that doesn’t hit home.
Also I’m sad that I watched the Matty and Riley sneak peek because that was their only scene. I really thought they would dive more into their bond... but they didn’t.
This is also when I noticed a pattern in these PL’s era where they make Mac fail his improvisations a lot. He’s usually not in the right track and has to rethink the whole thing. That is so out of character. This type of scenario only used to happen in the really dangerous and important missions.
{ ! } 5x09 was, like 5x07, a pointless episode. “Let’s make Mac have a mental breakdown during a mission.”  That was the whole premise, really. This is an example of how the characters in MacGyver have been used as plot devices for the whole season.
Inconsistency #1: Mac having a breakdown in front of everyone when three episodes ago he wouldn’t let a soul see him grieving Jack’s death.
Inconsistency #2: The trigger for said breakdown was a mission that was very dangerous, yes, but no different to what they team confronts in a daily basis. Mac’s character is meant to work the best under pressure, his brain enhances during those moment so having it be thet trigger it doesn’t feel right.
Inconsistency #3: Desi showcasing trust during the mission at the beginning and understanding Mac later on. Until two episodes ago she TAILED him and forced him to open up because she didn’t have a clue what was going on with him (it’s not that difficutl to figure out tbh dear Desi writers).
Do you see where I’m going with this? Plot devices, out of character writing, making the characters do stuff to fit in Mac’s “traumatized” state...
Inconsistency #4: Riley snarking so much at Mac. She usually is supportive no matter what and if she has a comment about his crazy plans they’re always delivered in a comedic demanour. But this time it didn’t.
Inconsistency #5: They writers pushed Mac to have a breakdown during the mission, to expose his mindset to the team and audience clearly showing that he still hasn’t moved on; yet when he’s FINALLY about to have a therapeutic catharsis moment in the graveyard he gets interrupted.
(btw, forcing yourself into someone’s personal space is never a good decision dear Desi writers)
Incosistency #6: He hasn’t realized how much he misses Oversight? Right, sure.
Incosistency #7: Mac’s hair in the graveyard scene, Mac’s mother grave missing, Mac not showing much vertigo... The details man, the details.
Why even write an episode like that?? What’s the character/plot development?? Having a breakdown during a mission is NOT therapeutic. Having your feelings exposed to everyone is NOT therapeutic.
That talk with Bozer in the comms was beautiful but I wish it had happened in a more appropiate moment. Imagine if Bozer kept talking to Mac because he knows that calms him down, without the “Bozer the psychologist” piece of dialogue. And then, after the mission, reach out to Mac privately to have a heart to heart talk. Imagine that.
Conclusion 1: PL’s era absolutely destroyed Mac as a character. They kept pushing him, episode after episode, to be a traumatized man that would not have a supportive environment near him to process his dark emotions (which is bullshit because he’s surrounded by a very supportive group of people, they just decided to not write them as that).
Conclusion 2: CODEX (or should I say codex 2.0?) is a boring threat. The creators of the show are stuck not only with a mess of a character who goes through the same experiences (loss, loss and loss) over and over again without real devolpment and whose present isn’t relatable at all to the common audience, but also with an unenengaging enemy. I hope they drop the Codex plotline sooner rather than later.
Now, listen. The ratings won’t change. If MacGyver hasn’t lost much audience with the show how it is now, then it won’t lose more in the future. MacGyver as a show is a great concept and people will keep watching just for that.
There, I said it. Harsh words, heavy criticism that I needed to get out of my system.

Additional Scenes:
Death protocol and comments on dreams
Disclaimer Game Version: All these analyses were written up to the game version v4.1.104.3536 (Early access). As long as new content is added, and as long as I have free time for that, I will try to keep updating this information. Written in June 2021.
In these “scene posts” I will explore the scene of the title looking for the information in the dialogues. What I will be looking for is how much Gale “lies”, how much lore is provided, and any extra detail that may be of our interest to highlight. At the end of these posts there are summary points for those who don't want to read the whole post.
Additional disclaimers about meta-knowledge and interpretations in this (post) while disclaimers about Context in this (one).
Protocol Scene
After skipping all the annoying protocol, we can reach to the most important part of it: the comments afterwards.
Gale: [...]I assume you have some questions for me. Only fair to warn you I've precious few answers to spare. I apologise if it sounds thankless. It's just that some secrets simply cannot be revealed.
[If Tav used the tadpole successfully before] Tav:[perception] I've seen the darkness inside of you, remember? I already know. [success]Gale: You don't know. Not really. But after all you've done for me, I do suppose I should be at least a little bit forthcoming. [Failure] Gale: There is no knowledge in a glimpse of darkness. My secrets are still my own.
Tav: [persuasion] I brought you back to life. A few answers is the least you can spare me. [success] Gale: I... I suppose that after all you've done for me, I should be at least a little bit forthcoming.
Gale: Tell you what, I will answer one question that you may have. To the best of my ability. If I can.
Over and over and over Gale is very explicit that he has secrets he can't or doesn't want to share. This is why the “great betrayal” concept in the revelation scene feels so cheap in my opinion. Gale never denied that something very wrong was happening with him. He certainly opens a bit more once he is brought back to life and tries to compromise in saying something more. We can clearly see his resistance to it.
Tav: I simply want to know what it is you're keeping from me Gale: I'm dangerous. Not because I want to be, but because of... an error I made in the past. [before gale speaks of his loss] It makes me dangerous – even in death.  You brought me […] [after gale speaks of his loss] I told you how I sought to win the favour of Mystra. I did this by trying to control a form of magic only one wizard ever could. I failed to control it. Instead it infested me. It makes me dangerous... even in death. You brought me […]
Tav: Why did your projection say that many lives depended on your resurrection? [before gale speaks about artefacts] Gale: Because it was the truth, and the truth is a great motivator. I'm dangerous. Not because I want to be […] [after gale speaks about artefacts] Gale: When I told you I needed powerful magic to keep my condition under control, I didn't tell you why. Well, here is part of the why: I'm dangerous. Not because I want to be […]
[After using the Tadpole successfully] Tav: the darkness inside you, what is it? Gale: It's magic from another time and another place. It is something that is beyond me, yet inside me. That makes me dangerous... even in death.
Tav: Actually, nevermind. If it makes you this uncomfortable, I won't insist.  Gale: That's... well, that's very kind of you. If the roles were reversed I don't know if I'd have your patience.
I mean... really... No matter the conditions, the context or the option picked, Gale can't be more repetitive about three facts: he has secrets, he is really dangerous, and there are 'catastrophic' consequences if we don't help him with the artefacts. None of them are a lie. This is also why I think the party scene is very unpolished: it doesn't acknowledge the fact that Gale already said a lot to some Tavs who explored and pushed Gale to speak, and the scene is presented as a conflict or a “betrayal” when there was none, specially for the case of Tavs who pushed Gale to speak. In either case, Tav is aware of what's happening with Gale: they know everything in broad strokes, or they respect his privacy and know little but they know that what Gale hides is a very dangerous secret. This is why I think calling Gale a manipulative or coercive character is very misunderstanding.
Tadpole Dreams
Dream 1
Gale feels well and healthy despite the terrible symptoms that Tav and their companions shared the previous night. However, Gale is a pragmatic person: this is not just luck and he makes it clear in his opinion:
Gale: What I saw surpassed the vivid. The voice was too true, the touch too tantalising, I can tell you felt the same. Sought out in the night by.... what? An illusion, or a promise? […] let's agree that at the very least there was the lure of a promise. The touch, the kiss, the everything... Did you relented or resisted? […] The dream wasn't just about power, it was about desire. […] It was an expert, this apparition. First the seduction, then the spurning, then that teasing souvenir. 'You are not ready, I will return when you are'. That's what I was promised. We have some restless nights ahead of us.
For players who pushed Gale to speak during the Loss scene, it's easy to suspect the person he is dreaming about: Mystra. The relationship with Mystra can be guessed during these comments after the dreams. We know that the dreams represent our companions' desires and wishes for power, and they have, in most cases, a sexual connotation. When Gale speaks about the kiss, we can assume that, same as what Shadowheart explicitly said, he slept with his dream person. So, if the player gets the Loss scene before the second dream, Tav will be quite aware of Gale's relationship with Mystra. Again, this is never acknowledged in the 'revelation' scene.
Dream 2
In the second dream, Gale is darker and bitter.
Gale: Good morning. I'm sorry, but I'm not in the best of moods. I tire of these dreams. Dreams. The word implies desire, but we're being played for fools. These are nothing but delusions.
Tav: I recall you being a lot more enthusiast after our first collective dream
Gale: I never said I'm not among the fools.
Tav: The power we're given is real, and there's no denying that.  Gale: It’s not because they’re real, that they don’t deceive. Give it candy and a child stops asking questions.
Gale: These dreams are too good to be true, and I can tell you why. Because their promises are perfect, and in perfection lies their flaw. It's the tadpole reading our every desire, but they don't read between the lines. They don't know some things are impossible. They don't know that... They don't know.
Tav: Gale, who is the apparition in your dreams?
Gale: She's... It doesn't matter. I just know her to be unreal.
Tav: What's impossible about what you're been shown? Gale: Forgiveness
3- Tav: I'll leave you to your ruminations.  Gale: Remember: these are nothing but delusions. Don't let the illithid's close readings persuade you of good intent.
[If Tav can guess it's Mystra after the Loss Scene] So it's Mystra you see. Of course it is.
Gale: I... why, yes. Clearly the tadpole isn't the only one who can read me like a book. It's indeed Mystra I see. And yet it cannot be her. There was a time when I would have believed - but no longer. I told you that I lost her. Lost her favour and lost so many of the powers I took for granted. What magic I can still weave is met only with undercurrents of disappointing silence. Mystra has not changed her mind about me. That's how I know our dreams are delusions.
[If Tav cannot guess it's Mystra] Tav: [Persuasion] Come, you can tell me. We're among friends here.  [success] Gale: Very well. It's Mystra I see. And yet it cannot be her. There was a time when I would have believed - but no longer. Things were different once, between the goddess and me. But things have changed. The parasite has plans for us [...]
This scene, for those players who can be lucky enough to trigger (it has the lowest of the lowest priorities), removes part of the apparent “shadiness” in Gale. He repeats clearly that he dreams of Mystra, which should immediately make aware the player that this has sexual connotations since these dreams are about desire and power, and Gale also expressed this in the first dream about the kiss. We also discover that what Gale desires the most is not power, but forgiveness. This is why I personally see him as looking for power not as a means but as a goal: Gale wishes to save himself, to remove the “orb” from him, and to be “one with the weave”. The more powerful he would become, the closer to Magic and the goddess he would be.
However, Gale is a pragmatic, realistic character as we saw in the Ceremorphosis scene: he won't lie to himself. He is very aware that forgiveness is beyond reach. He may have believed it be possible when younger, but he repeats once more that this concept we saw in other scenes: he is aware that whatever he had before is over.
Summary:
During the protocol scene Gale explicitly says, once more, that he has secrets.
He explains that he is dangerous, even in death, despite not wanting to be, reinforcing the idea that his consumption of artefacts prevents something very 'catastrophic' from happening.
If the protocol is triggered after the Loss scene, he will explain that an old magic 'infested' him.
During the comments after the dreams we learn that the dreams represent desire and power with sexual implications in most cases (if not all).
After the second dream, Gale expressed his scepticism about the dreams. He knows his dream person cannot be Mystra.
We learn that his most intense desire, reflected in the nature of the dream, is forgiveness, not power. Let's remember these dreams can't be fooled. They show the deepest desire/wish for power of the dreamer.
If this scene is triggered after the Loss scene, we learn that Gale is always aware of Mystra's disappointment because he can sense it in the Weave every time he casts magic.

Between the Two of Us ~ Chapter 3
Masterlist || Previous Chapter || Next Chapter
Summary: Jurdan High school AU. Rivals Jude and Cardan are forced to partner up for a history project, and drama ensues. Filled with banter, pranks, an unhealthy amount of pining, and Jude being clueless as usual.
Trigger Warnings: I don’t think there’s anything so far, but please let me know if there’s anything I missed!
The car ride with Cardan was strangely quiet. Other than asking where she needed to be dropped off, Cardan remained silent. It seemed that besides arguing, they didn’t have much to say to each other.
The radio hummed in the background, and Jude let herself relax into her seat.
Cardan sat lazily in the driver’s seat, one hand draped on the wheel. With the afternoon sunlight highlighting the planes of his face, Jude glanced at Cardan and found herself strangely curious about his life. She wondered what he would do after dropping her off, how he spent his weekends, who he spent his weekends with.
She wondered if he was still dating Nicasia, the girl he had dated since sophomore year. She’d heard rumors they’d broken up. Nicasia was the only girl he’d ever seriously dated besides the series of girls he’d flirted with. She hated how easily they fell for his charm, but she knew better.
Jude shook the thoughts from her head, annoyed at herself for thinking about Cardan. It was probably the stress from the past week getting to her. Between school and soccer practice and now work, Jude’s semester had been jam-packed.
Once she got to college though, things would change. She would let herself make friends and have fun and be normal. She could reinvent herself as someone people could like. Then she would finally be happy, because it was a path for herself that she had paved on her own, that she had control of. For now, she would just trudge through high school so she could get into college and finally move out.
Cardan turned into the parking lot of the café, and Jude was suddenly overwhelmed with a random burst of apprehension. She had quit her last job at an ice cream parlor because of her coworker, Valerian. At first, he used her to blame for his own mistakes. And because she was new, the boss took his word. Then came the prickling glances and veiled threats, the lingering gazes on the back of her neck, watching her for any mistakes.
She remembered those fearful late nights when the store had emptied, leaving her alone with him, and shivered. Though she hadn’t let her fear show, it seeped through her veins, keeping her on high alert when she had shifts with him. She had hated the feeling of powerlessness, the inability to grasp control of the situation, and eventually quit before Valerian got her fired and ruined her future job prospects. She desperately wanted this job to be better.
Cardan parked the car, pulling her out of her anxious spiral. She fidgeted with the zipper on her wallet, not wanting to go inside just yet. For some reason, Cardan’s car seemed a better option than facing her first day at work.
Cardan turned to look at her expectantly, and Jude slid on her unworried, confident mask like a second skin. And yet she felt like his gaze could see right through her, see that what she showed to the world wasn’t always the truth.
She cleared her throat. “Thanks for driving me.”
“No problem.” He paused. “I’d say good luck, but I don’t think you need it.”
Her lips quirked up in a hint of a smile, slightly surprised that Cardan knew exactly what she needed to hear in that moment.
She exhaled, reached for the door handle, and stepped out. Cardan looked like he wanted to say more, but then closed his mouth. Suddenly feeling awkward, Jude quickly shut the door behind her with a quick “thanks again” and walked to the entrance.
 ~~~
Her first day at work was way better than she could have expected. Her boss told her to shadow her new coworker for her first few shifts until she got the hang of the job. Her coworker, who introduced herself as the Bomb, had a cloud of white hair that contrasted with her flawless brown skin, and she radiated a sense of genuineness that Jude instantly liked.
As she showed Jude how to make different beverages, Jude couldn’t help but ask, “So what’s with the name?” She winced, realizing how rude that had probably sounded. She definitely wasn’t a very good people person.
But the Bomb just smiled at her, unfazed. “Real name’s Liliver. I accidently, um, made the blender explode, as one does, so I got stuck with the Bomb,” she said sheepishly.
Jude snorted.
“I’m lucky I got a ‘cool’ one, I guess,” she continued. “You’ll meet my friends the Roach and the Ghost in your next shifts. It’s kind of our thing. Stay here long enough and you’ll get one too.”
Jude felt a little intimidated by their already established friendship, but the Bomb was nice enough, so she figured she wouldn’t hate working with the Roach and the Ghost.
After the Bomb went through the steps of a few of the most popular drinks, she demonstrated how to work the register as she took a customer’s order. Jude caught on pretty quickly, and the Bomb left her to man the register while she made some drinks.
She breathed in the comforting smell of coffee and let her nerves settle. She could get used to this place. The small store was the definition of cozy, with booths to the side and elegant greenery adorning the back wall of the shop. A couple students sat on the bar stools next to the counter, backpacks tucked underneath their seats.
The door to the coffee shop opened, and her eyes shifted to the guy with orangish brown hair who had just walked in.
He approached the counter, and Jude was surprised to realize it was Locke, one of Cardan’s lackeys. Jude automatically tensed. Although he hadn’t outright bullied her in middle school, he hadn’t opposed to it when Cardan and his friends did. He’d matured since then, at least from what Jude could tell, and mostly just left her alone.
Even though he was always the least cruel of Cardan’s little group, she was still surprised when he smiled at her and slid into the bar stool in front of her.
“Hey, Jude. Didn’t know you worked here.”
Jude was even more surprised that he recognized who she was so quickly. Most people from school just called her Duarte instead of trying to figure out which twin she was. “Yeah, it’s my first day. I haven’t really got the hang of making the drinks yet, but I can take your order.”
After Locke rattled off his order and paid, he took the bar stool nearest to her and said, “So, I saw your last soccer game. You literally saved the game with that last goal. Didn’t you were that good.”
Jude knew she was good, but she took the compliment anyway. “Thanks. I’ve been playing since freshman year, so you could say I’ve improved.”
“Yeah, you definitely have,” he replied, giving her a charming smile.
Jude’s brain came up with the sudden, unbidden realization that he was kind of cute. Distracted, she fumbled for a response. “Yeah, I guess.”
Before an awkward silence could set in, Locke asked, “So… how’s your history project coming along? You figure out what your topic is?”
Again, Jude was surprised he’d noticed they were in the same class. They literally never talked. “Yeah, Cardan and I figured out our outline.”
Locke’s eyebrows flew up. “I forgot you were working with him. How’s that going?”
Jude smiled at that. “It’s going. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be, but I don’t know how long that will last.”
“I’m just surprised you didn’t already murder him.”
Jude let out a laugh at that. “I mean, we’ll see. We still have the rest of the semester.”
Locke grinned at her, and Jude’s neck heated. Before she could think of what that meant, the Bomb called her.
“Jude, drink’s ready!”
Jude walked across to her to get Locke’s coffee.
The Bomb leaned over her and asked her in a low voice, “Who’s the guy?”
“Just someone I know from school. We’ve never really talked until now.”
“Well, he’s clearly interested.”
Jude looked up at her, surprised. “Really?”
“I’ve seen so many meet cutes here that I’ve practically become an expert.”
Jude looked at her incredulously. “You could tell he was interested from one two-second conversation?”
The Bomb just rolled her eyes at her and pushed her back towards Locke. “Trust me. Now go, before it becomes obvious we’re talking about him.”
Jude walked back over to Locke and handed him the drink.
“Thanks.” He got up and picked up his keys. “I’ll see you at your game next week?”
“Yeah. I’ll be there.”
He shot her a smile over his shoulder as he walked out the café.
Jude took the next customer’s order with a newfound spirit, and the Bomb smirked at her knowingly. Maybe this job wouldn’t be too bad after all.
Here’s chapter three!! Let me know what you think :) Yes, yes, I know, Locke sucks, but we’ll get some good JurdanTM content next chapter. Thanks for reading!
