My Adult Glow-Up
aka: me getting my shit together
Fixing your sleeping schedule -  Yes, way harder than it seems and I completely understand if your job gets in the way; just make sure you're getting you 7-8 hours of sleep bb. Naps are great too!
Eating fucking breakfast - Bagels, cereal, smoothie or just a banana anything to fill your tummy up with food for your meds or vitamins! Treat your body as if you were a toddler!
Smelling good - Super hard to get into the shower sometimes, and I know how comfy your bed is but it needs to happen mama. Dry Shampoo and baby wipes if you’re in a pinch
SKIN CARE - Even i’m trying to keep up with this one, and don't forget sunscreen! I can hear your pores crying for help!!
Complete hygiene routine - this is one of those where it varies from person to person. Ex: brushing teeth 2x a day, Complete showers (exfoliating, hair mask, the full routine) not just quick body showers anymore. Whatever works for you!
Screen time - whether it's TikTok, Tumblr, Instagram you need to stay off of it babe, even 30 minutes make a HUGE difference. When ur in public and have anxiety that's completely fine but try to find something that stimulates your mind like books, articles, podcasts!! Maybe like mine, ‘Your Go-To Bitch’ available anywhere you listen to podcasts! ;> 
Deadlines - TBH anything that you haven't gotten done! Even if they don't have a deadline, let's all get our shit together!, ADHD laundry piles, taking out the trash, deadlines for work all of the above! Let’s ease our minds a little more. Don’t forget to go at your own pace.
Deep cleaning - This is another one that will vary from person to person but one thing i advise is CLEAN YOUR FUCKING ELECTRONICS!! Your phone, AirPods, laptop etc! Just please do it!!!
Make a DEEP WORK playlist - is there that one music genre or couple of songs that make you feel and be productive? Create a playlist that keeps you on your grind and get some shit done!
Go to therapy - this one might be a little harder because of the U.S. healthcare system but there are plenty of free resources online. 
Spend time with loved ones -  No seriously, real loved ones! Family may not your first chance, mine definitely isn't but hanging out with people that make you feel like your floating does wonders which bring me to another point
Communication - Tell people how you really are feeling, I know it might feel like you're a burden or annoying but you're not! Talk/rant about your shitty day at work and if they seem annoyed or burdened by you FUCK THEM!!! Your feelings are valid and you deserve to be heard.  (REVISON: I don’t mean emotionally unloading on some one without their permission, I mean bad friends who roll their eyes, gaslight you into thinking that it’s just your mental illness, and switch up on you every Tuesday . Just people who don’t want to see you winning babe!!!)
Recreate a Nostalgic Meal - Now I’m not saying you have to have a whole ratatouille moment over your dinner but make/recreate something that brings you instant peace, your inner child might miss it more than you think babe.
Don’t forget your worth babe! - I know how hard it is, I used to always look at posts like this and roll my eyes but I hate to admit it but it helps! Don’t forget that you are that fucking bitch and keep your head held up HIGH!

I hate when I'm using a guy and shit, and they start catching feelings and like no matter what I tell them like they just don't stop liking me like I be like, "Listen I'm a hoe, I don't cook, I don't clean like trust me you don't want me to be the mother of your kids. New Moon, New Me
As most of you all know we just had the most powerful day yesterday with the Lion’s Gate Portal Peaking around 7ish Am. I’m curious to hear what some of you had planned/did yesterday. I would like to share a couple of things I did.
Bay Leafs: people refer to it as a burst of energy and others refer to it as wishes, it’s as simple lighting a bay leaf on fire and what you do after is up to you.
I wrote my manifestations onto the leaf and used all-purpose and good fortune oil on the bay leaf (PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH FIRE, I always use long tweezers so I don’t burn myself and a cauldron to drop it in when it gets too crazy)  You may use more than one leaf, also make sure to charge your leaf with your intention before putting oil. (OIL IS NOT NECESSARY)
Candles: Whether you’re spiritual or into the occult. Candles are very useful with manifestation and a powerful tool.
I anointed my candle with eucalyptus oil and rolled it towards me with basil and cinnamon. Burned the end with a lighter to stick it onto my work tray. In times when I don’t have a proper candle, I tend to use birthday candles which are an affordable and quick fix.
I’d just like to remind everybody that everyone’s practices are different and there are no right or wrong materials to use as long as you are safe and protected.

It’s ok to talk to MULTIPLE guys, but don’t lead them on to where they think something will come out of it. For example, tinder and bumble are like the main source for like hookup /relationships, and of course you’re gonna talk to a lot of people to find ‘the one’ but don’t tell them they’re ‘the one’ but continues to talk to more people bc guys get tired of being played just like us girls, ya know? My experience with this is yes I have a bunch of dudes on my snap from tinder/bumble but there’s only one I actually like so I make sure I don’t entertain the other guys. ‘Heys’ ‘hi’ and ‘wyd’ is fine but don’t start asking ‘when we meeting up’ or ‘nudes?’ Bc no. You gotta play the game, but play it smart.

Magazines that helped expand my vocab and helped me be more cultured.
Here’s my reading list so far, i have more to write but this is what i can think about at the moment. These helped me alot when I’m having conversations with pot’s and my sd and wanting to impress them.
-Surface magazine
Covers anything thats art related and if you enjoy travelling in style(think boutique hotels with moholy-nagy inspired decor),you’ll enjoy this. My Sd loves to talk about art, architecture and interior and ever since i started immersing myself in these topics through reading, i find myself being able to converse fluently on these topics.
-Monocle
This magazine is targeted towards men (i think) but i do enjoy reading their articles about artisanal cocktails on planes and the artsy part of our everyday life that we dont notice.
-Vogue 
My first magazine when i was 10 and has been my favourite ever since.One of my POT really liked fashion, not from a consumers perspective but in an appreciative way. He find’s girls who buy fashion labels because of it’s label distasteful and shallow (i know lmao).Anyway It’s vogue ,i dont have to elaborate more on this.
-NYT food
 Its not a magazine but it deserves a honorable mention in this list. It really helped expand my vocab  when it came to food. Instead of saying ‘delicious’ or ‘nice’ ,i find myself being able to elaborate more eloquently to describe taste

How to tell if your friendship is toxic 🙅🏾‍♀️🏥
ALL YOU DO IS ARGUE: it could be about little things, or big things.
YOU CANT TRUST THEM: trust in a friendship is key but if you have an inkling feeling that you can’t trust someone you’re probably right. This relates to all aspects in the friendship
THEY ARE SELFISH: now, if your friendship is always about the other person and not you , if they like to talk about themselves and vent about their problems but not listen to yours , that’s a big sign
THEY ARE JEALOUS OF YOU: your real friends will always be happy for you whenever something is going right for you and encourage you and y’all will grow together , a toxic friend however will be so apathetic and will discourage you and call your dreams unrealistic and feed off of your positivity
GOSSIPING: you should never keep a person in your life who has negative things to say about you behind your back , if your friendship is always about talking about what another person is doing they’re probably doing the same with you , we all love to spill the tea but will hate it if it’s from our cup
NEGATIVITY: we all have our bad days when we feel as if it doesn’t get better and we are upset , no one is going to be positive all the time but the same thing is for negativity do not surround yourself with negative energy and problems, leave that person where they need to be don’t let them feed off of your positivity.
BEING AN ASS: there are ways to be a funny and joke around but you can still be respectful, now if that person is making remarks on your appearance and saying hurtful things and coming for your insecurities that’s another huge signs to leave them out of your life
CHILDISHNESS: say you happen to get into an argument and they stop talking to you and start talking shit , and then try to get back into your life , don’t let them continue to have some sort of control over you like that. Tell them to leave you alone and leaves it at that or don’t anything silence is loudest
FLIRTATION: this one might be reaching to some but if you have a friend and as soon as you tell them about who you like and then they act as if they liked the person first or if they start flirting with that person after you say that that’s not right , they ain’t got respect for you
JUDGING: people who judge other people excessively are shallow asf , if your friend happens to do this to you all the time , or they give you weird looks when wearing something or judges you when you tell them something personal , they ain’t worth your time
LYING: having a “friend” that lies about themselves and who they are as people or lie about others are dangerous, stay a million feet away from them , as this relates to trust as well , even if they lie about themselves I promise they will lie about you too. And they would most definitely lie to you too
DRAMA : some individuals live for drama , but others like to involve you in it and get on your last nerves , these are the people who are always ready to fight and starts shit with everyone or expect you to fight all their battles is trying to take advantage of your kindness and they needa go.
